Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sa.
[00:00:30] Speaker B: Hello and welcome back to goblets and gaze. This is season three, episode 14.
[00:00:37] Speaker C: Yes. Yes, it is.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: Yeah, I was like. It was more of. Just like. I believe it is 14 from my math. I was waiting for.
[00:00:46] Speaker D: Speaking of math, that would mean this is the pie episode, because it's season three, episode 14. 3.14.
[00:00:53] Speaker E: We're going to bake pie in our free time here then.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: I look forward to it.
[00:00:58] Speaker E: It'll be made out of bone slimes. It will not be eaten.
[00:01:01] Speaker B: Bone slime pie.
And yes, I am Aubrey. I am your GM. I usually hear pronouns. I will toss it over to my players to introduce themselves and who they're playing and answers them before we get into all the fun stuff. And tonight's question is. Well, it's less of a question and more of a prompt. And it's briefly describe a moment in your childhood and how it puts you on the path to where you are today.
And we'll start with you, Aki.
[00:01:31] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Aki. My pronouns are she, her, and I play Astrea, a triple princess, bard, summoner of dragons, survivor of trauma, and all round spite enthusiast, and.
Hmm, childhood memory.
I think the best one to do would be.
It's quite easy to assume that Australia got a lot of her musical mambo jumbo from Kallax, who is the chiller dad, however. No, that's not it. Actually.
She got it from Pava, who would, while doing her hair, would probably sing her eyes. Australia also got a lot of her languages from him, not because he wanted to teach her, but because he just. They just. In this household, they did not teach her common first. They taught her elvish and gnomish first. They're like, she's going to be bilingual, but she's going to have a hell of a time in school. And. And that's essentially what happened. So, uh, yeah, Australia's bard, because her big, scary vlog host dad would sing her lullabies of, like, wolves sometimes.
[00:02:49] Speaker B: And Ferris, you're up next.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Hello.
[00:02:52] Speaker E: I am Ferris. I use she her pronouns. And I am playing dumisa, the half hobgoblin, shaft problem barbarian, and champion of the knight.
[00:03:03] Speaker D: I had, like, two, so I flipped a coin.
[00:03:07] Speaker E: So let's see, when Doomie was about like six or seven or so.
One time, while she and Teshka were baking with their dad, their beast, he told them a story about, like, this kinder who only ever raised a sword in defense of others, traveled the world to expand his understanding and helping people in need until eventually, he found this small village that just kept needing his help with, like, little things like, can.
[00:03:38] Speaker D: You get our cat out of the tree? Or, oh, could you please chop this.
[00:03:42] Speaker E: Wood where I'm an old man and frail and all that jazz?
[00:03:45] Speaker D: And he ended up sticking around long enough to help that he finally just.
[00:03:50] Speaker E: Made it his home and hung up.
[00:03:52] Speaker D: The sword for good.
[00:03:53] Speaker E: And the story just resonated with Dumisa's desire to grow up to be just like her mother, the champion of so shu.
[00:04:04] Speaker D: And, you know, probably never realized at.
[00:04:06] Speaker E: The time that the story was never.
[00:04:09] Speaker A: About her mom, but did she sure did follow that path. Sure did.
[00:04:16] Speaker D: Thanks. It hurts me.
[00:04:18] Speaker B: Hey, Sparlock, you're up next.
[00:04:22] Speaker F: Hello, I'm Sparlock. I use he him pronouns, and I play groom, who uses she her pronouns. And, um, it. You know, I don't think it qualifies as a childhood story. I was. I was. I was pretty old. I was, like, four.
[00:04:41] Speaker C: Oh, baby.
[00:04:42] Speaker F: And the. And the tribe was attacked by big old doggos. They were. They were terrible, and they were snarly and. And it was just me left.
And what? A wandering cleric came by. Heavy came by, and he made a big, big fire.
And it was so cool that I, like, followed him and, like, I kept annoying him until he promised he would show me how to do it. And, yeah, that's how I met heavy.
[00:05:23] Speaker C: Aw.
[00:05:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:27] Speaker B: Tick, you're up next.
[00:05:29] Speaker D: Hello, everyone. All these do be hit indefinite. My name's Tick. I use he she they pronouns. I am playing marrow. There's a lot going on with this duskamar now, who uses they them pronouns? And, uh, I hope everyone, this server doesn't realize I changed my nickname to. But that all out of the way.
This is kind of a bit tricky to do, but not super tricky. But then I thought of something very specific, so I'm going with it. As you know, Maro, as a kid, was very, very curious person and would constantly badger their parents for lore and interesting stories, adventures, everything like that. And I feel like at some point or one day, they would try to make, like, a dragon out of cardboard and make like, a sword out of cardboard to try and be like, the cool hero, you know, like their dad was saving the world from all the dragons and probably convinced someone to pop it around a giant cardboard dragon while they whack it with a cardboard sword for, like, 30 minutes until it was defeated. And I feel like that it's very, you know, very wholesome in the moment, but then you look back at it with all the context. And it's like, ah, never mind. But just being able to play pretend and getting that inspiration of being an adventurer, I feel like that was a big part of why they went out into the world.
[00:06:43] Speaker B: Yes, that is. And last but not least, we do have Trilla.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:06:51] Speaker G: Hi, I am Trulia. My pronouns are she her, I play Illyana, our lovely dust Walker witch, and her pronouns are also she her.
In reference to this prompt, Aubrey kind of knows about this one, obviously, because it is lore dropping here. But when Ileana was a very young child, I'd say about six or seven, she got lost in the woods around the village that she grew up in.
And this was kind of her first interaction with magic at the time.
And Atropa, she learned this after she died and had been brought back, that it was Atropa who actually guided her back to the village because turns out no one was looking for her, by the way, because her parents are idiots.
[00:07:46] Speaker D: So, yeah, and sorry, me baby.
[00:07:54] Speaker B: One of you does not have bad parents.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: That's.
[00:07:57] Speaker G: That should be the normal ratio, though.
[00:07:59] Speaker C: One of the.
[00:08:00] Speaker G: One of the group has to have good parents. It's just how it is. And actually, Australia has two sets of good parents.
[00:08:07] Speaker B: Yeah, Australia has enough to make up for everyone else.
[00:08:10] Speaker C: Exactly.
[00:08:11] Speaker D: My one good parents now gone. I only have one bad parent left, and we gotta deal with that.
[00:08:18] Speaker C: You have enough family members that are decent to just share. Yeah. To patent your. Your trauma, you know.
[00:08:28] Speaker E: Think heaven's one of us here has good family.
[00:08:31] Speaker C: It's not even. It's not even that. I straight up made one a therapist because I thought it would be really funny. I didn't realize how much that would come into play.
[00:08:40] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:08:41] Speaker C: I didn't realize how much copious amounts of therapy you bitches needed.
[00:08:45] Speaker D: Guys, you literally.
[00:08:48] Speaker C: You literally keep astray's family afloat.
[00:08:50] Speaker E: Thanks for your needs and your troubles.
[00:08:53] Speaker C: No wonder you guys are broke all the time.
[00:08:54] Speaker D: I really do have all your money.
[00:08:58] Speaker B: But yes, getting into any kind of news.
Wayward arcadium is airing every Monday on net 20.
Believe the very first episode just aired this money Monday. This money, money. Hopefully we get that in the future.
But yes, this Monday it aired the 31 january. I believe this comes out on the 2 February.
And yeah, I hope it was really good. I'm very, very excited. This project has been in the works for a really long time and just finally having it happen is very, very exciting. Other than that, I believe we're getting ready for the last, either the third episode or the last episode of Ghast. Hollow should be coming out on Patreon Soonish.
And then beyond that, we'll have a few other things. Vampire, the masquerade and the will.
[00:09:57] Speaker D: We have announced the one shots by this point.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: I don't remember. If we haven't, I will cut this part out.
[00:10:04] Speaker D: Announce them. Coward.
[00:10:06] Speaker E: And then she didn't.
[00:10:07] Speaker B: Yeah, I was like.
[00:10:08] Speaker E: I was like.
[00:10:09] Speaker B: I was like, I don't know what to announce them.
[00:10:11] Speaker C: You know which ones in particular?
[00:10:15] Speaker B: All of this. I read one chance.
[00:10:17] Speaker C: You can do it now, bitch. It's gonna air in January.
[00:10:20] Speaker B: That's true.
[00:10:22] Speaker C: Technically, we should have started.
[00:10:23] Speaker B: Started sooner because, like, I'll probably have recorded things that go in the other episodes because I've left news breaks and all of those.
[00:10:31] Speaker C: Yeah, that's. That's. That's what you should. Because we should have announced it, technically, on the. In the next actual blood of Kings episode that will start next year, which. Which, you know, which is episode ten.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:10:46] Speaker C: Yeah, that should have our sirene stuff.
[00:10:50] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:10:51] Speaker B: So, yeah, those are a thing. Look out for those. We've got some really cool casts and stuff for all of that. And more will be announced as we've recorded them and know what their schedule.
[00:11:05] Speaker A: Is going to look. Currently, I have no idea right now.
[00:11:09] Speaker D: Roll furnished.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: But yes. Anything anyone else wants to plug before we get into the.
The recap.
[00:11:21] Speaker A: Also, we should. We.
[00:11:23] Speaker B: By this time, we will know if we have won the award or not.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: Yeah, that's true.
Oh, yeah. Because voting actually ends a lot sooner. They changed it, but we're still getting.
[00:11:34] Speaker B: We're still getting in with those three episodes.
[00:11:36] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Which we should. We should.
Well, the only other thing I have left to announce is I'm on clever corvids, baby. Go check out them episodes. I play blades in the dark, and for once, I am tall. I am the tallest. The tallest in the group. And I need you to know that.
[00:12:01] Speaker E: I'm so happy for you.
[00:12:02] Speaker C: I am so happy for me too. It's. It's very fun. I don't gotta play no moral compass, you know?
Do I still got the brain cell? Yes, sometimes. But, like, can I just go? Oh, and I'd like to shoot a man. Yes, I can. Ooh, it's so unconventional.
[00:12:22] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:12:22] Speaker B: I listened to the first episode. I need to listen to more of it, but I really enjoyed that first episode. I will have probably listened to more of it by the time that comes out.
[00:12:30] Speaker C: Yes, I think. I think maybe by the time this comes out, there should at least be five episodes out.
[00:12:39] Speaker D: I am fairly certain.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: It's hard when you record this far in advance.
[00:12:45] Speaker C: Yeah, just. It's. There are episodes out. Please go look at it.
[00:12:48] Speaker B: Yes, it's a great project. Some great art, some great characters.
And blades in the dark.
[00:12:54] Speaker A: It's cool.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: But yes, I believe that is everything to announce. So, you know, I guess now is the time to ask what exactly happened last week?
[00:13:05] Speaker D: Zombies. So many zombies. So last week. Oh, gosh. I'm trying to remember exactly because this entire dungeon has blurred into one mess of fighting. Ah, do me. So got trauma, which is unfortunate. She's working through it, though.
We were in the room with the circle, the cult circle, the duan cult circle and also the shirt. Sure.
That bitch is. I'm not saying her name. I'm sorry, it's not coming out very well. But, uh, we all rested a bit to lick our wounds. Estre and marrow scouted ahead a little bit by scouted ahead. We found a secret book room. We found some nice books. Uh, we found a secret hatch into a bedroom. We, uh, scoured it and investigated while Dumisa was panicking in the background because we hadn't come back, uh, the half hour. That's fine. Get over it. Full of zombies that we couldn't go five minutes without tripping over. Get over yourself. It's fine. Don't worry. We were fine. It was safe. But we did a bit of exploring. Exploration, chilling, you know, not sleeping in the cursed bed, though, which is probably for the best. But we headed back after Dumisa used ascending, so to be like, guys, where the fuck are you? I'm starting to get worried. My concern senses are tingling. So we headed back, we got a nice key, and we are. We were like, okay, so we got to continue into this dungeon. Asturia was like, okay, but hear me out, though. Instead of us fighting the enemies, I can summon an elemental to distract them, for we could just kind of, you know, sneak on by in the background. Everyone's like, you know what? I like this plan. It involves us not having to fight more bones, so we'll take it. Mara did not speak for they have an opinion for bones that was not aligned with the rest of the group. But we all went down the hall. Estrella released her earth elemental, and the bone tornado was like, oh, I don't know what this is. Let's fight it. And went after the earth elemental. They fought for a bit while we were all sneaking by like a Tom and Jerry skit, got to the door, went through a door, and we officially went into the second floor of this dungeon. We got into the second floor, and we heard immediately some noise of people or something. Talking. Not talking, but, like, existing, I guess, like clattering.
Thank you. My sound effects are free from stock use. No, they're not. But I want to let you know.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: That those don't actually appear, ever appear in the edit, so it's just.
[00:15:32] Speaker E: Oh, they get cut out by the.
[00:15:36] Speaker B: Noise cancellation all the time.
[00:15:41] Speaker D: Well, I guess I need to clack my teeth louder at some point, but we heard some clattering teeth sounds for you.
[00:15:47] Speaker C: We.
[00:15:48] Speaker D: We went and found that there were a bunch of blood mages who. We have made the joke that the token art looks suspiciously like marrow, because they both look. They walked out of a hot topic from 2010s. We beat them up, though, without any difficulty. One of them got really screwed over by a very unlucky nat one and nat 20 on my end and its end, not respectfully. Uh, and we managed to deal with it pretty well. Uh, punch, punch. Magic, magic. Boom. Blood veges are dead. We kept exploring. We just found a little path that was walked off by crystals. So gruin scouted ahead, found the wine, brought the wine back, and we're like, damn, this is something we really don't want to deal with the zombies. But we broke down the path. We managed to head down it, and there was a bit of a hole, but we kind of jumped over it. There was also a secret passageway around that area that had more books. Australia got what's basically the best item that she as a person could get. A wardrobe stone. Now, she would look perfect all the time. Not that she didn't look perfect already, but, you know, it's gonna be double perfect, you know, and found more books.
[00:16:53] Speaker C: I just wanted to say, no, it's actually not that great because it only lasts a minute, and I have a thing that makes it last longer, so this.
As excited as I was, I didn't realize it wasn't. It was only a minute, so it's better off with someone else.
[00:17:10] Speaker D: A new stretch goal on our Patreon is letting the stone last for longer than a minute.
If you support us, we will personally let Astria have the stone last longer. And Aubrey can't stop me because she can't cut this out, but, like, she won't, I hope.
[00:17:24] Speaker B: Are you sure?
[00:17:25] Speaker D: Anyways, anyway, take it to Twitter.
[00:17:27] Speaker C: Take it to Twitter.
[00:17:28] Speaker D: I'm typing right now. But, um, yeah, we found generally a few passages, and I believe we ended right as we heard some ominous sounds down the hallway again. Rolls up my sleeves, get ready to start punching me. You know.
Thank you, Spurla. I'd like to dedicate this award to my family. Like, my real life ones. They're doing amazing. And I'd like to dedicate this award as well to the metric, Hector, Pokemon, Sophies I have on my desk watching me and judging me for my bad rules.
[00:18:02] Speaker A: You're in the hallway.
[00:18:03] Speaker B: You're trying to figure out where you're going next.
[00:18:06] Speaker A: You see, I have invest.
[00:18:09] Speaker E: What is this, a dead end I'm looking at? I am away from the group, and I don't remember doing that, but apparently that's where I left off.
[00:18:16] Speaker C: Yeah, no, because you were like, okay, next. And then you just rashed off, and then Aubrey was like, and then we'll end right here.
[00:18:22] Speaker E: I think I, the player, wanted to peek around the corner real fast and just did not move my token back is what happened.
[00:18:29] Speaker B: Yeah, it's.
[00:18:30] Speaker E: I just wanted to see if it was a dead end, and it's not, I don't think.
[00:18:35] Speaker F: Should we go down the long hallway or into the door?
[00:18:39] Speaker D: We did the door.
[00:18:40] Speaker A: We already did the door.
[00:18:41] Speaker B: You listened at the door and you heard the bad noises?
[00:18:44] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah. There is no good hallway.
[00:18:47] Speaker F: Was it more slurping or was it chattering noises?
[00:18:52] Speaker A: Okay, can I roll to see if.
[00:18:55] Speaker D: There'S any traps in this hallway?
[00:18:57] Speaker C: Oh, any what?
[00:18:59] Speaker B: What?
[00:19:05] Speaker C: The way in which that was, I was asked. It sounded like you offended their entire family.
[00:19:11] Speaker D: Thank you. I'm sorry. What are you looking for in this hallway?
Is this a new designation of man.
[00:19:17] Speaker E: I've not heard of?
[00:19:19] Speaker C: Someone's about to get grounded.
[00:19:22] Speaker D: Traps, like.
[00:19:25] Speaker C: No, that's not what you say. Say it like you said it.
Say it like you mean it.
[00:19:31] Speaker A: Twaps.
[00:19:34] Speaker D: I thought you were trying to say, like, twink or twunk, but it was.
[00:19:39] Speaker E: Like a new one. I'm like, oh, what?
[00:19:40] Speaker C: What is this?
[00:19:42] Speaker D: A twap? Is there a twap in this hallway?
[00:19:45] Speaker C: A chance.
[00:19:46] Speaker D: Is there a twap and a twink?
[00:19:48] Speaker C: No, like.
[00:19:53] Speaker E: Perception.
[00:19:55] Speaker B: Perception.
[00:19:57] Speaker C: I was looking at our own perception.
[00:20:01] Speaker D: As you guys know, I have been having bad luck with my dice for this entire couple of weeks, and I guess that is not going to end today.
[00:20:07] Speaker E: Can I please also roll to maybe counteract?
[00:20:13] Speaker D: I got an 18. I got a 33.
[00:20:18] Speaker C: I rolled quite high. I rolled, like, a natural 1920.
[00:20:22] Speaker B: Um, there are a couple of, like, suspicious looking, like.
Like stones.
But you're not sure if it's just from age or that they might be trapped.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: Okay, but what about me?
[00:20:35] Speaker A: Yeah, you notice the same thing. You're.
[00:20:36] Speaker B: You're relatively sure they, uh. You know, you're. It's either. It's really old, or they could be traps, but they're, you know, where they are so you can avoid them.
[00:20:46] Speaker C: Yeah. I think that's what Australia is going to do. She's going to point out exactly where they are and go. And you do not want to step on that, because I cannot tell if that is a trap or just.
[00:20:59] Speaker D: Oh, better safe than sorry. I'm gonna go down the hall, I guess, avoiding the stop. The spaces.
[00:21:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:07] Speaker B: It's a long, dank hallway, you know.
[00:21:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:12] Speaker B: It's underground.
[00:21:13] Speaker E: Peek around the corner with caution.
[00:21:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:17] Speaker D: Oh, I didn't. I just walked.
[00:21:20] Speaker A: There's to be a door, and you.
[00:21:24] Speaker B: Could definitely tell that you are, as of this moment, quite possibly underneath the ocean. You could sort of see it sort of bits and bits of it, you know, sort of seeping in through the cracks and the stone.
[00:21:41] Speaker E: Oh, I thought we were in, like, a shark tank.
[00:21:43] Speaker A: It makes sense.
[00:21:44] Speaker C: I'm like, zombie sharks.
[00:21:47] Speaker E: That would be actually really cool. I'm not gonna lie.
[00:21:50] Speaker A: I don't.
[00:21:51] Speaker E: But it would be cool to see.
[00:21:52] Speaker B: Uh, over, like, directly in front of you. It just looks like party hallways collapse. Uh, and then to your left, there's a door.
[00:22:01] Speaker C: I shall listen to the door. I shall do the same.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:22:05] Speaker B: Uh, perception checks.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: Perception checks.
[00:22:07] Speaker E: I will not listen to the door because I trust.
[00:22:09] Speaker F: Same door.
Doesn't it feel like we kind of went around in a circle and not. Because I'm looking at the map and being like, yeah, that's the same room.
[00:22:22] Speaker E: I got a 30. 2030.
[00:22:24] Speaker A: 20. And what is.
[00:22:26] Speaker C: I got a 22.
[00:22:29] Speaker A: 22. Yep.
[00:22:31] Speaker B: You both hear the chattering of bone teeth.
[00:22:36] Speaker A: Oh, that's.
[00:22:37] Speaker C: Those are bone teeth.
[00:22:39] Speaker E: Good job, Groot.
[00:22:40] Speaker D: Compared to what? Non bone teeth.
[00:22:43] Speaker C: Shut up, Merrill.
[00:22:45] Speaker E: Yes, they could be non bone teeth. Let's retreat.
[00:22:49] Speaker F: But where else would we go?
[00:22:51] Speaker C: Back across the hole?
[00:22:53] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a different. There was a different way. You could have gone back across the hole.
[00:22:58] Speaker F: Didn't we also hear stuff there?
[00:23:00] Speaker B: Yeah, you heard skittering noises.
[00:23:03] Speaker F: Do we want the skittering or the chattering?
[00:23:07] Speaker E: I think we're just gonna jump it, right? Like we got here.
[00:23:10] Speaker C: No, it's. It's because when we go back up and around, there is also another area where we heard.
[00:23:17] Speaker A: Oh, yes.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Yes. So it seems like the enemies are abound.
[00:23:23] Speaker F: Spider stray. Spider stray.
[00:23:25] Speaker C: No, it's run out.
[00:23:28] Speaker E: Do we. Do we feel it's pretty reasonable that the. The two doors that lead to the chattering are wherever they lead is not only, of course, the same place, but it is also a dead end.
[00:23:42] Speaker B: A dead end. Who knows?
[00:23:44] Speaker E: I know. I'm asking the group.
[00:23:46] Speaker B: Oh, I thought you were asking me.
[00:23:47] Speaker E: Sorry, sorry, sorry.
[00:23:48] Speaker C: No.
[00:23:48] Speaker E: Asking the group.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: You could also attempt a stealth roll to, like, peek.
[00:23:54] Speaker D: Um, not yet.
[00:23:56] Speaker E: My dice have not given me enough faith to think that that might work.
[00:24:00] Speaker D: I'm willing to try just because I have the best stats for it, but also, I know it's not going to work. So, like, do you want to try it?
[00:24:07] Speaker F: Okay, we could, like, here's an idea.
Uh, do I have. I do have level one.
Okay. We can tie a rope to the doorknob.
Right?
Cast alarm, open the door, uh, using the rope. That's, like, far away.
When the enemies come out and the alarm goes off, we run in the room from the other side and shut the door behind them.
[00:24:45] Speaker C: I had a similar idea. You know how I can summon up a wall of flesh?
Oh, even better.
[00:24:53] Speaker D: Use group.
[00:24:55] Speaker C: Yeah. I was thinking, how stupid do you think they are? Do you think we can get them in that hole?
[00:25:03] Speaker F: Depends how many there are.
[00:25:05] Speaker E: How deep is the hole is for the DM?
[00:25:07] Speaker B: Uh, the. You cannot see the bottom.
[00:25:11] Speaker E: Comforting and concerning.
[00:25:14] Speaker C: I do also have one other thing. I can just straight up blind them.
I have a move. It is a. It has got a lot of reach, but, um. But I have to see them.
[00:25:27] Speaker A: Right?
[00:25:27] Speaker C: So that. That is the only, um. But, yeah, like, if they're. If they're, like, not so, like, smart, we could just try to bait them into the hole. That'd be kind of funny. And if. And Mero has the ram ring, right. So, like, if they somehow get over the hole, we just back in, you.
[00:25:47] Speaker E: Know, so all of us cross over except for one perhaps very speedy child who can open door and run really fast. And hopefully.
Or I guess if we have the ram ring, Merrill. With the ram ring, we want Merrill on the other side. So maybe me, who can become very fast, jumped really far.
[00:26:05] Speaker D: Um, I do have something to mention. We did just fight some enemies, correct?
[00:26:12] Speaker B: Yes, yes.
[00:26:13] Speaker D: One of them just teleport. Isn't that a thing that they can do?
[00:26:17] Speaker E: I don't feel very strongly that skulls in a tornado.
[00:26:22] Speaker C: It honestly depends on which one comes at us.
[00:26:27] Speaker E: I'm more concerned about them having, like, a flight ability.
[00:26:31] Speaker F: I mean, then we just have to fight them. Like we would have to. Either way, I think this is a.
[00:26:39] Speaker D: Very good idea, but I think instead of getting them into the pill, which is a more secure idea, it would be funny to get them into the. Don't get me wrong, but.
[00:26:49] Speaker C: My wall of flesh idea was we'd all go down to this room. It's around the corner.
Someone opens the door, you run into the corner room, and then I bump up the wall, and I can make the wall a flesh out of anything. So, like, I could have it. Like, I could have it. I could. I could have it. Like. Like eyes. And we close the eyes, we just look like a regular wall. And. And they could just go, oh, what? Door open. And then we could, you know, run in later.
[00:27:20] Speaker D: But, you know, wait, hold on. The wall could have eyes, right?
[00:27:24] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:27:25] Speaker C: The wall can have eyes. The wall can have eyes or arms, like you saw before, or. And this one's my favorite a little bit, though, it's mouths, because it can drink stuff.
[00:27:36] Speaker D: Oh, oh, okay.
I'm not gonna think too hard about that. Can you see what the wall sees or some way to get that information to your brain?
[00:27:49] Speaker C: No, no, I can. I can see throughout. And I get out of character. I. So it's like I can see through these eyes, all hundreds of them, and I gain a plus two circumstance bonus to visual perception checks within the walls line of sight. And I can also use the eyes for determining the line of sight for.
[00:28:13] Speaker D: Range attacks and spells, if that's possible. If there's some way to combine, if we're going to drop a wall of flesh to make sure they can't move while we do that, isn't it possible to determine if it's a dead end or not? Because it can see, right.
[00:28:27] Speaker C: I can't cast it again, is what I'm trying to do.
[00:28:30] Speaker F: Is it worth using that hive level spell?
[00:28:33] Speaker E: That's my concern. That we put in all this effort and use up a lot of your energy with very little to show for it, especially if it turns out to be a dead end.
[00:28:43] Speaker D: Do you want me to just peek in and if there's something there, I close the door and run?
[00:28:47] Speaker C: I think I cannot get over the hole by myself.
[00:28:52] Speaker E: So if you, if I care, I can carry you.
[00:28:56] Speaker C: I do not trust their jumping ability.
[00:29:00] Speaker E: I made it across no problem. This is by theirself.
I am taller than. This hole is wide.
[00:29:07] Speaker B: The hole is 10ft wide.
[00:29:09] Speaker D: Okay, well, I'm almost taller.
[00:29:11] Speaker C: You are not.
[00:29:11] Speaker E: I could almost walk through.
I could almost make a bridge with my body. Almost.
But also, I can make the jump. I have two hero points if I screwed up.
[00:29:25] Speaker C: Oh, hero points. What's that?
[00:29:29] Speaker E: I'm in die with heroic abilities.
All else there is Aubrey.
[00:29:37] Speaker D: I mean, why don't you just get over the hole now? I can jump over it very easily, and if I check there's something there and I can run back in worst case, someone will have to jump back to help me.
[00:29:47] Speaker E: That's what I think as well.
[00:29:49] Speaker F: So I. Oh, cool.
I can.
I can go 55ft around.
I just realized I have fleet step if we want to, like, really hurry.
[00:30:08] Speaker E: Yeah, I think I can also. I have that through my cloak as well. So we have a lot of people who have the ability to be speed step into me.
[00:30:16] Speaker D: I become ultimate speed.
[00:30:19] Speaker F: I think our best bet is to have someone run and draw them into the hole.
[00:30:25] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:30:26] Speaker E: Regardless, I think everyone else should be on the other side of the hole, just in case. Case?
[00:30:30] Speaker C: So do I.
[00:30:32] Speaker F: Well, how else are we going to draw them into the hole?
[00:30:35] Speaker E: Well, everyone apart from whomever is checking the door.
[00:30:38] Speaker F: Yeah, we gotta look tasty.
[00:30:40] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:30:41] Speaker C: Well, objectively, whoever is running can run back and jump over the hole and then be with us to get them into the hole.
[00:30:48] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:30:49] Speaker D: Oh, don't worry. I'm a snack. I'll be fine. I can attract.
[00:30:52] Speaker E: I have so many feelings about that statement. None of them are good.
[00:30:55] Speaker C: No, the hole is even better. If I'm on the other side. I have a spell that could pull them to the hole.
Gravitational pull.
[00:31:03] Speaker E: Marrow, are you good to check the door?
[00:31:06] Speaker D: Yep. Get everyone that needs to get over there.
[00:31:08] Speaker E: I would like to reiterate, the dropping them in a hole is only if they detect you. That is our plan B. Plan a is to not be seen.
[00:31:18] Speaker D: I will open the door as carefully as possible, and if you see me running at full speed towards the hole, it means I saw me.
[00:31:26] Speaker E: Then I will extend my hand to Estrella.
[00:31:31] Speaker C: Yeah. Wait, wait. I need to secure the baby. And I secure the baby, which is Rosalind, of course.
[00:31:40] Speaker E: And I will scoop you up into my arms, princess style, get a little bit of a running start, and then leap across the hole.
[00:31:49] Speaker F: I don't know why I'll do that. There's plenty of handholds.
[00:31:58] Speaker B: Give me that athletic shack with just, like a minus two for carrying a strand.
Literally, the DC you need to beat is ten.
[00:32:08] Speaker D: Well, good.
[00:32:09] Speaker E: I did beat that.
[00:32:11] Speaker B: Literally. You're trying to jump 10ft.
[00:32:14] Speaker E: Yeah, I beat it quite, quite well. In that case, I did. But with the, um.
With the penalty, it was only a 24, but the DC, I think that's a critical success on the DC.
[00:32:29] Speaker C: I want you to know that I rolled and I still. I would not have made it. Because it rolled very low.
[00:32:34] Speaker D: Oh, no, baby.
[00:32:36] Speaker C: Yeah, so. So don't. I don't trust. The one thing I don't trust is athletics.
[00:32:41] Speaker E: Luckily, my athletics. My athletics modifier is above the DC by a lot.
[00:32:48] Speaker C: Mine is under the DC by a lot.
It's a one.
[00:32:54] Speaker E: So I think I make the leap and even land very gently.
[00:33:00] Speaker F: Uh, Mario, would you like haste?
[00:33:04] Speaker D: Does that make me go faster?
[00:33:06] Speaker F: Yeah, but you also already go really fast, I think. I think what your speed is, like, ridiculous, isn't it?
[00:33:14] Speaker A: It's.
[00:33:14] Speaker D: If I had to put it into a number, it would be 45 right now.
That's just land speed, though. If I could hypothetically fire something like that. Only be 30.
[00:33:25] Speaker F: Yeah, you're less than two actions away from the hole, so.
[00:33:31] Speaker D: Yeah, save your spell slots to make me go speed when we need it.
[00:33:34] Speaker F: Well, it can only be used for that or feather fall.
[00:33:39] Speaker D: I can jump a hole just fine.
[00:33:42] Speaker F: Because sorcerer spell slots, I.
[00:33:47] Speaker E: We can also be ready to catch you. But I feel like you'll be fine.
[00:33:51] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:33:52] Speaker B: So everyone is going to be on the other side of the hole?
[00:33:56] Speaker D: Yep.
[00:33:58] Speaker B: Yep. Okay, Mara, need that stealth roll.
[00:34:03] Speaker D: Okay. Come on.
[00:34:05] Speaker C: On a side note, do you see where my cruiser is right now? Dick?
[00:34:10] Speaker D: One sec.
Yeah.
[00:34:12] Speaker C: Okay, that is my range. For one of my spells, that is gravitational pull. So if at any given point, you can get the baddies, like, if you have to get them here, I can start pulling them into the hole. Okay, this is the range.
[00:34:30] Speaker D: Will I be pulled into the hole, too?
[00:34:33] Speaker C: Technically, yes, but that's only if you really, really want to.
[00:34:37] Speaker G: We can always lasso you with some rope. I'm sure one of us has some rope.
[00:34:41] Speaker C: You can also just get to the other side over here, like, around the corner, and you'll be completely fine because it's going to be down.
[00:34:49] Speaker E: You can loop back through the other door. Just keep running in circles.
[00:34:53] Speaker C: You really could just do that?
[00:34:55] Speaker E: Yeah, like, you're so fast, I'll never catch you. You just go to circle until you can finally get back with us.
[00:35:01] Speaker D: Yeah. All right, time to make that stealth roll real quick.
Should I use a hero point for this? Because I don't know if it'll help, considering my luck.
[00:35:11] Speaker B: What did you roll?
[00:35:13] Speaker D: I rolled a two on the dice.
[00:35:15] Speaker E: Oh, my gosh.
I'm so glad we have a plan b.
[00:35:20] Speaker D: My curse is shaping up nicely tonight.
[00:35:22] Speaker C: I mean, that's a two, so, like.
[00:35:26] Speaker D: Whatever you'd like, that's have two hero.
[00:35:28] Speaker E: Points tonight, so I'm gonna use one.
[00:35:31] Speaker D: Now to see if I can break this curse. And if I roll, like, another two or nat one, I'm just gonna.
[00:35:37] Speaker C: If you do, I'll just start singing, I don't know, like a Tokyo ghoul song, just. Just to commemorate pain.
[00:35:44] Speaker D: Okay. I am writing down my rolls tonight to see if my luck persists in absolute hell.
That's a nat 20.
[00:35:52] Speaker C: Never mind visible.
[00:35:55] Speaker D: Thank you.
Thank you, God, for this mercy onto my bones. Yep, that's a 37 in total. Oh, my God.
[00:36:05] Speaker B: Yeah, you can open the door.
[00:36:08] Speaker D: Okay.
Oh, my gosh.
[00:36:14] Speaker B: But it doesn't notice you yet.
[00:36:18] Speaker E: I'm closing the door immediately for the viewers. What we just saw.
[00:36:23] Speaker B: Please describe it.
[00:36:25] Speaker D: Describe what you see when I saw. So mero grabs the handle and pokes their head in slowly and immediately sees a bone skeleton literally right fucking next to them in.
[00:36:40] Speaker B: Oh, it's more than a skeleton.
[00:36:42] Speaker D: I meant tornado.
[00:36:43] Speaker E: Bone tornado.
[00:36:44] Speaker D: It's several skeletons in one. A giant red crystal is in the middle of the room and.
Can I just close the door? Like.
[00:36:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it hasn't noticed you.
[00:36:55] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm just gonna softly close the door and look at the group. I'm not gonna run. I'm just gonna look at the group with this. Look how absolute horror. Like, I just avoided the worst encounter of my life.
[00:37:04] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:37:05] Speaker D: We didn't see any of that, right?
[00:37:08] Speaker C: No, I said I saw a bit of it, like, just from the foot line of range. So, like, you are also met with.
[00:37:16] Speaker G: Like, a horrifying straya.
[00:37:19] Speaker D: I didn't see if there was any, like, dead ends or anything. Right from that.
Like, at the angle I opened the door, I did not see, uh, no.
[00:37:31] Speaker C: Every time you open the door, it's so funny.
[00:37:34] Speaker E: Stop.
[00:37:36] Speaker D: Okay. There is. It looks like there might be a path. I think there's, like, it's mostly shadows.
[00:37:43] Speaker E: But Aubrey opened the door.
[00:37:44] Speaker D: I was on the other side of the hall, and I got to see a glimpse of.
[00:37:46] Speaker A: Of it.
[00:37:46] Speaker D: So, uh, I am just gonna make my way back to their group real quick.
[00:37:53] Speaker B: Walking fast, walking faster, walking silently.
[00:37:57] Speaker D: And just from the other side of the pit, I'm going to sign to Australia because I don't want making noise. I'm just like, did you see that shit too?
[00:38:04] Speaker A: Just.
[00:38:04] Speaker C: Just very fast. Just a lot of nodding. And I think. And I think, um. I think roselyte nods, too, is just like, oh, we're nodding, we're nodding. You know, like, just so double non.
[00:38:17] Speaker D: It looks like there is a path going deeper in. And it also looks like there is a giant, giant red crystal in the middle of that room, but. Oh, my God, my skin jumped out. My bones jumped out of my skin.
[00:38:29] Speaker C: Seeing that Nestrea is translating quietly for the rest of the group, like, okay, so there's. There. The path might go further in, though. Um, and there is, like, a giant red crystal. And then Mero got a boner, um, for the bone tornado that's in there.
[00:38:46] Speaker F: You know, there's still always the option of doing the. The.
What did I just do?
[00:39:01] Speaker E: I know what you're talking about. I know what that was.
[00:39:03] Speaker B: I mean, I know I realized, like, about 37 seconds ago that you were doing the Benny hill thing, but, you.
[00:39:07] Speaker F: Know, but doing the open one door, lead it out, and then go in through the other door thing.
[00:39:16] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, but what about getting back? What if this does lead to a dead end?
[00:39:22] Speaker D: Can astrea and I, like, put our.
[00:39:25] Speaker E: Heads together and think real hard about Velen's memory again to see if we can discern whether or not this seems like the right direction?
[00:39:36] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:39:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:38] Speaker D: Also, this is slightly off topic, but can I go back to just take a screenshot of that moment on the map, just. Just for meme purposes?
[00:39:45] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:39:46] Speaker D: Fucking funny.
[00:39:47] Speaker E: Can drop it in hot memes one day. Once the episode drops.
[00:39:51] Speaker C: Just drop it into my DM's regardless, because it's hilarious.
Okay, here's another thing. While doing that, I did join past with one of the marrow twins. So if there is a way, maybe use that as well to think of the right direction or not, regardless of.
[00:40:14] Speaker B: Recall, knowledge of whatever lore. Honestly, warfare lore it is.
[00:40:25] Speaker C: Curse lore. It is.
[00:40:27] Speaker E: Because, you know, you got to remember how to get out of a situation.
[00:40:32] Speaker A: I.
[00:40:32] Speaker E: Sorry. Fired.
[00:40:34] Speaker C: That's gotta be a 1631.
[00:40:40] Speaker B: Yeah, actually, from your memory, Velen never came over here.
None of this looks familiar. Trawling through the sort of the drilling past.
[00:40:53] Speaker A: You never.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: Velen certainly couldn't have gotten over a pit like this.
[00:40:57] Speaker C: What about the marrow twin?
[00:40:59] Speaker B: The marrow twins.
[00:41:02] Speaker D: Such a cursed dick name.
[00:41:04] Speaker B: He did sneak past a couple of people who looked like that.
[00:41:10] Speaker D: Sorry, what do you mean by.
[00:41:12] Speaker B: I am also figuring out what you are you talking about? Because they were near the beginning and they were in a dead end.
[00:41:19] Speaker E: Yeah, well, because Australia memorized memor.
[00:41:24] Speaker C: Joint memory.
[00:41:25] Speaker D: Thank you.
[00:41:27] Speaker C: I'm trying to figure out the path based on what I saw, and if this at all looks familiar, where we are right now.
[00:41:36] Speaker B: Over here. Nothing of it looks familiar. Nothing was in balance.
[00:41:39] Speaker A: Memories.
[00:41:39] Speaker B: He probably couldn't have gotten over the pit anyways, because he has nothing for athletics.
[00:41:48] Speaker D: He's a twink.
[00:41:49] Speaker C: And what about the marrow twins.
[00:41:52] Speaker E: The blood mages never came this way either.
[00:41:54] Speaker C: Uh, the ones that can teleport?
[00:41:58] Speaker B: No. You. You also didn't get enough from their memories to get a layout. All you got was a couple of flashes.
[00:42:07] Speaker C: There's no look at do mean shrugs. It's. None of this is familiar.
[00:42:11] Speaker E: I don't remember Velen being this way.
[00:42:15] Speaker C: I can't jump the hole. You think? You think Velen can?
I am slightly more athletic. Slightly.
[00:42:25] Speaker E: There were red cross or exit the dead end for us.
[00:42:30] Speaker D: Beep, beep. I'm coming over. Can I roll athletics or jump over?
[00:42:34] Speaker A: Yeah, roll that athletics.
All right.
[00:42:38] Speaker D: Yeah, that's above a. That's sure. Above a ten.
[00:42:40] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:42:42] Speaker B: You cross without any problem.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: Well, as of now, this way has baddies. The other only way to get through here also has baddies. So do you just want to go back over the wall and deal with the other room of baddies?
[00:42:59] Speaker D: Yeah, let's do it.
[00:43:01] Speaker E: At least we know they're probably not a tornado. Full skulls. So I will.
[00:43:06] Speaker D: I've never been more needle full of skulls in my life.
[00:43:08] Speaker E: You look ties. I felt traumatized seeing the glimpse I.
[00:43:14] Speaker D: Did not see me.
[00:43:17] Speaker B: Hey, then you head back past the shattered, uh, crystals and stuff. You broke them.
[00:43:24] Speaker A: They. You know, they just broke on the floor.
[00:43:27] Speaker D: Now, actually, it was probably a sign vellum wasn't able to break the crystal crystals.
[00:43:32] Speaker E: Yeah, I mean, it was slightly possible, like, crawled over them, but I feel like it any further. If he did want me to poke.
[00:43:43] Speaker D: My head in again to see if I can see it real quick before we jump in.
[00:43:47] Speaker C: Yep. Because I remember this one had some noises.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:43:52] Speaker D: All right, let's roll a stealth check again.
That's. That's just another natural 20.
[00:43:57] Speaker C: And you know what?
[00:43:58] Speaker D: I'll take my luck turning around.
[00:44:00] Speaker E: Oh, my God.
[00:44:01] Speaker D: We'll take my luck.
[00:44:04] Speaker C: No, stop talking about it. You're just gonna jinx yourself immediately afterwards. You're gonna take nothing.
[00:44:13] Speaker F: Good job, marrow. That was really quiet.
[00:44:16] Speaker B: Uh, you can open the door, see what you see.
[00:44:20] Speaker D: Oh, I don't like this.
[00:44:22] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:44:22] Speaker B: You see a big fucking spider.
[00:44:27] Speaker G: No, no.
[00:44:30] Speaker D: Close door softly. Just signed to a straight. Like, that's a whole spider. And there's another door. But that's a whole spider.
[00:44:36] Speaker C: Well, do you want skeleton tornado? You want spiders?
[00:44:41] Speaker E: Spider.
[00:44:43] Speaker D: Do me. Say you want to go in first.
[00:44:45] Speaker E: Sure.
[00:44:46] Speaker D: All right, ladies first. I open the door.
[00:44:50] Speaker G: That room.
[00:44:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:52] Speaker C: Ilya, we need to move situation.
[00:44:56] Speaker B: You can roll with stealth.
Roll initiative with stealth. And if you roll higher with them, higher than them, it's good.
[00:45:04] Speaker A: But if not.
[00:45:05] Speaker D: Yeah, I'll do that, actually, because I get bonuses for using sevens.
[00:45:08] Speaker E: I rolled better than I've been rolling all night, which is to say it's a 13, but my total is 26.
Do me rolls. Bad stuff or bad initiative continues.
[00:45:23] Speaker C: Like, a 15 for me. Excuse me. World very low as well.
[00:45:27] Speaker E: Oh, no.
[00:45:29] Speaker F: Natural one for groom.
[00:45:32] Speaker E: Whoa.
[00:45:32] Speaker D: Holy shit. Okay, the bot, though. The bot. That's so mean. Your true skill shines through rude sadness.
[00:45:44] Speaker A: Chin.
Yep, sat in his chin.
[00:45:47] Speaker B: Ileana, what did you roll?
[00:45:49] Speaker G: I am working on.
[00:45:49] Speaker A: And.
[00:45:50] Speaker G: Hang on. My computer is being a little evil.
[00:45:52] Speaker D: I just should have rolled a Nat 19, so I am very happy with the direction my life is going.
Shut up. Don't jinx it.
[00:45:59] Speaker A: Knock on wood.
[00:46:03] Speaker C: 17 plus 18.
[00:46:05] Speaker D: That's 15.
[00:46:06] Speaker G: Carry the 135.
[00:46:09] Speaker B: You were second in the initiative.
[00:46:11] Speaker C: Fuck.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: Right in front of marrow. We're right behind Barrow.
[00:46:16] Speaker G: Ileana does not want to deal with his goddamn spider.
No spiders. No spiders.
[00:46:24] Speaker C: I mean, it's the spiders that are questionably easier to kill. Or the skull tornado, which you can go back around and do deal if you would like.
[00:46:35] Speaker B: Marrow, you lead things off.
[00:46:38] Speaker D: Time to commit assault, I guess.
[00:46:40] Speaker A: Uh oh.
[00:46:44] Speaker D: There's not just one spider, is there?
[00:46:47] Speaker A: Maybe.
[00:46:48] Speaker G: Fuck, Aubrey. I hate you.
[00:46:52] Speaker D: So I am going to enter this room and charge this first spider for my first action. Turn around, look into the corner, where I see a second spider. Just be like, fuck. And then.
[00:47:03] Speaker G: There's not a second one in there.
[00:47:05] Speaker D: There is.
[00:47:06] Speaker E: I can see it on my screen.
[00:47:08] Speaker D: I'm just gonna.
[00:47:10] Speaker E: And in between.
[00:47:11] Speaker D: In between my flurry of blows, I'm just gonna go. There's a second one.
Oh, let me see my stats. Let's do a stunning strike. Flurry of blows, actually. See if I can get a good stun on this guy.
[00:47:25] Speaker G: Oh, good. Ileana doesn't even have to set foot in the room.
[00:47:29] Speaker C: I can tell.
[00:47:30] Speaker D: Lightning, this bitch does a 32. Hit.
[00:47:37] Speaker B: 32 does hit. And it rolled a 29 for its 42.
[00:47:41] Speaker D: That's unfortunate. This is really close to failing, but it does not fail. Second attack. Let me roll real quick. So I just add all the damage together.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:47:49] Speaker D: It is flat footed because it's going after me, an initiative, and my luck is going directly into the trend you.
[00:47:56] Speaker C: Get for talking about it out in the open.
[00:48:00] Speaker D: It's like a 22. Not gonna hit. I don't think.
[00:48:03] Speaker B: But it's 22. It's not gonna hit.
[00:48:04] Speaker D: Yeah, it's not gonna crit fail, though, right?
[00:48:06] Speaker A: No.
[00:48:07] Speaker D: All right. And because I get my flat footedness because of rogue bullshit. I can do a bonus d. Six of damage. Is this resistant to anything or kind of mash it all together?
[00:48:18] Speaker A: Give me the numbers.
[00:48:19] Speaker D: Okay, so it's twelve bludgeoning and two precision.
[00:48:27] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:48:29] Speaker D: And, uh, guess what would be a good option for my shin? Because I don't want to run and ditch everyone, but also, like, I don't want to be next to these spiders immediately as they attempt an assault.
I'll move to stand in front of Illyana, I guess because she seems scared of these things, and it's less than half my movement, so we're good.
That's my third action.
[00:48:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: Ileana is now your turn.
[00:48:54] Speaker G: I'm son bolting the bitch. The one that marrow just attacked.
[00:48:58] Speaker B: That's a reflex save you need from it.
Uh, that would be a 30.
[00:49:04] Speaker A: Fuck.
It sees you.
[00:49:07] Speaker B: It knows what you're doing.
[00:49:08] Speaker G: It still gets half damage.
[00:49:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
So that's 1d.
[00:49:14] Speaker B: These are like. These are like horse sized spiders.
[00:49:18] Speaker C: Five.
I love them.
[00:49:20] Speaker E: No fantasy game or story would be complete without the giant spiders.
[00:49:25] Speaker C: They are my favorite thing, and, like, one of my favorite things in pussy games. I love them.
[00:49:29] Speaker E: They are a fantasy stable.
[00:49:30] Speaker C: Nope, fuck it.
[00:49:33] Speaker D: I sure do love the fact that I entered that room and immediately saw second spider. I was like, ah, regret.
[00:49:39] Speaker E: Marilyn's just having a hard time with rooms lately.
[00:49:42] Speaker B: It's funny is that you did actually leave what is probably the easier option.
[00:49:49] Speaker D: I mean, I hate you all.
[00:49:53] Speaker B: We don't know which way either of them leads, and.
[00:49:58] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:49:58] Speaker B: Ileana. What was that? Damage roll.
[00:50:00] Speaker G: That damage roll is going to be 28. That is already halved.
And I am out of level three spell slots now.
[00:50:08] Speaker B: And it is now the first spider's turn.
The spiders man's turn.
[00:50:14] Speaker D: I want to see that.
[00:50:15] Speaker E: They're called giant joro spiders, but I really just want to call them spiders. George.
Jojo spider spiders.
[00:50:24] Speaker B: George should not be counted, and so it is going to attack you, Mary.
[00:50:31] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[00:50:31] Speaker B: Get up on hind legs, bare the fangs, and just try to hitchhia.
[00:50:38] Speaker D: This is a creature that is a 32.
[00:50:41] Speaker A: 32 does hit, and I am going.
[00:50:45] Speaker B: To need you to make me a fortitude save.
[00:50:49] Speaker D: Hold on, real quick. This is a bite, right?
[00:50:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:50:54] Speaker D: Is this creature a fiend, undead, or creature with a weakness to good damage?
[00:50:57] Speaker B: Nope, it's just a spider.
[00:51:01] Speaker C: Just us.
[00:51:01] Speaker D: Just a horse sized spider. Okay.
[00:51:05] Speaker E: Things like this make me wonder if this is like, like a household problem people in fantasylands deal with, like, oh, just another giant spider in my entire bedroom. Whack that out of the broom.
[00:51:17] Speaker C: Actually, I'm pretty sure the. Because, um, fantasy also has, like, swarms of, like, rats and stuff like that as issues. So, yes, this would be an issue.
[00:51:27] Speaker D: This would just.
[00:51:27] Speaker C: This would be a very regular issue.
[00:51:29] Speaker E: Which is why even bigger.
[00:51:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:51:34] Speaker E: Super sized Australia.
[00:51:37] Speaker D: Throw kazoos at us.
[00:51:38] Speaker C: Legit anywhere in the third world will also give you the same amount.
The worst part, though, is, like, toilets. Yeah, or like, the giant cockroach while you're showering that one.
[00:51:50] Speaker E: Guys, no marrow.
[00:51:54] Speaker B: Take 26. Piercing damage.
[00:51:56] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:51:58] Speaker B: No, the fangs. And it is going to follow it up with a attack with its webs.
[00:52:08] Speaker A: Oh, I don't.
[00:52:10] Speaker D: At least it's not a grab yet.
Shut up.
[00:52:18] Speaker A: 29.
[00:52:21] Speaker D: Ah, yeah, that hits.
[00:52:23] Speaker B: Sadly, you are immobilized and stuck to the nearest surface until you make an escape check.
[00:52:28] Speaker C: What?
[00:52:28] Speaker D: What's the nearest surface then?
[00:52:31] Speaker A: The floor.
[00:52:32] Speaker D: Oh, no, speed.
[00:52:36] Speaker C: That's fine. We just needed you by there anyways.
Oh, my God. They'll come to us. That's the worst part.
[00:52:43] Speaker D: Why I stayed outside the door.
[00:52:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:52:48] Speaker B: And it is going to spend its last action to repos. Actually, no, it moved. So that is actually its last action and demises. Now your turn.
[00:52:59] Speaker E: Okay, I will begin my movement, and then real quick measure, because I couldn't see.
[00:53:07] Speaker D: Can you attack diagonally?
[00:53:09] Speaker A: Yeah, like if I was here. Yeah.
[00:53:13] Speaker F: Okay, it's maybe one spot to the left if you can get there.
[00:53:18] Speaker D: Like there.
[00:53:20] Speaker F: Yeah, that's perfect.
[00:53:22] Speaker E: Oh, because of something you're planning.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: Shoot.
[00:53:25] Speaker E: Well, it's okay. I'm already out of range of where I want to be anyway, so we'll just do this fast is all. Cool. And then it's, you know, time to be a raging lesbian. And then it's time to hack and slash.
[00:53:39] Speaker C: Good old hack and slash.
[00:53:42] Speaker E: I banned this dice and promptly forgot and then used it again.
So that's cool.
So it's only a 25.
[00:53:52] Speaker A: 25.
[00:53:55] Speaker B: 25 just barely hits.
[00:53:56] Speaker D: Oh, yes.
[00:53:58] Speaker E: Good job, dice. As terrible as that rule ball is, I forgive you.
[00:54:02] Speaker A: Oh, crisp.
All right.
[00:54:07] Speaker E: And now I am doing Les mass.
[00:54:15] Speaker D: Yeah, it's gonna be 32.
[00:54:19] Speaker E: Let's see here. We got all this ghost touch, but I know these aren't undead, fortunately. But four of it is poison, and seven of it is negative, because I can choose.
So we're gonna be a little negative.
[00:54:35] Speaker A: This fight, the rest of it's just.
[00:54:37] Speaker E: You know, angriness and general.
[00:54:39] Speaker B: And that was three actions, right?
[00:54:42] Speaker E: That should have been number three.
[00:54:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Cool.
[00:54:44] Speaker B: And it is the spider's turn. It is going to, for its first action, hop up on the ceiling and reposition itself slightly.
[00:54:54] Speaker E: How tall are these ceilings?
[00:54:57] Speaker G: Oh, and look underneath it. Did it eat its sibling?
[00:55:01] Speaker D: Could be an exoskeleton.
[00:55:02] Speaker A: That too.
[00:55:04] Speaker B: And first action, reposition itself. Second action is going to.
[00:55:10] Speaker D: Wait, wait, wait.
[00:55:11] Speaker E: If it went to the ceiling, did it leave my. Did it leave my range?
[00:55:16] Speaker A: No.
[00:55:17] Speaker E: Dang it. So wait, does that mean it's. So I can still hit it while it's on the ceiling?
[00:55:20] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah.
[00:55:21] Speaker B: Well, ceiling dropped down behind you.
[00:55:25] Speaker E: Okay. I ask because I have attack of opportunity and if it left my range, then I would be able to use it.
[00:55:31] Speaker B: And its first action is going to.
[00:55:33] Speaker A: Attempt to web you.
[00:55:35] Speaker B: And that is a 37 against what? Your ac.
[00:55:42] Speaker E: Oh yeah, that's gonna be a crit.
[00:55:45] Speaker B: Well, luckily it doesn't do damage.
But you are now immobilized and stuck to the floor.
[00:55:50] Speaker E: Well, it's still in range, so that's okay.
[00:55:52] Speaker B: Yep. And then it's going to follow up with an attack with this and it's gonna critique. This will be its third action. First action was move.
Second action, web.
[00:56:04] Speaker C: Well, okay, wait, you said. You said move. So up on the ceiling and then plops behind Dumisa. Dumisa counts as one of the square. Which means it would have moved three squares. Right. I can't see it. So that's how I'm picturing it. Because it's taking.
Then it would. Wouldn't have. Well no, if it's taking steps and that's how it works.
[00:56:25] Speaker B: But it did also didn't leave demises range the whole time.
[00:56:30] Speaker C: That's really weird because she's an enemy. So it goes through her square box. Regardless though, it's.
[00:56:37] Speaker D: It's weirdly using the fact that the. It's using airspace, which is very.
[00:56:44] Speaker F: Just double checking in Pathfinder, isn't it? It's not leaving your space, it's changing squares while in your space.
Like leaving a square.
[00:56:56] Speaker B: It's usually like leaves your attack range for what?
[00:57:00] Speaker E: Opportunity. It would use a manipulative manipulate action or a move action. Makes a range attack or leaves a square during a move action it's using. So I guess actually technically that that would be.
[00:57:15] Speaker B: I mean if you want to take a swing at it, it's done for.
[00:57:17] Speaker E: Two of those things. I would love to.
[00:57:19] Speaker D: Yeah. The attacks of opportunity are different for every class because for mine it has to use a move action or leave a square. I can't. I don't get manipulated as an option.
[00:57:30] Speaker E: That's.
[00:57:31] Speaker C: I'm only. Yeah. The only reason why I'm suggesting is because when I'm trying to pick. I understand that it's three dimensional space, but it, by any means, it's still moving. Like, up and over. Demisa, who's an enemy in that space, who's a seven foot tall enemy.
Yeah, that. That's how I'm picturing it.
[00:57:50] Speaker E: It's gonna be a 25.
[00:57:52] Speaker A: 25.
[00:57:52] Speaker B: It'll hit. You'll do damage. And it's also going to hit you.
[00:57:55] Speaker A: With those fangs for triple damage.
[00:57:59] Speaker E: Okay, fair enough. I do that all the time. It's only right I should get it in return once in a while.
[00:58:05] Speaker F: How tall did you say the ceiling was?
[00:58:08] Speaker B: Ceilings like 1529.
[00:58:11] Speaker A: Damage? 29.
[00:58:14] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:58:18] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:58:20] Speaker B: And you are going to take 69. Nice. Damage.
[00:58:25] Speaker D: Nice.
[00:58:27] Speaker B: And I need you to make a fortitude safe as these fangs just sort of stink in to you.
[00:58:33] Speaker D: Not nice.
[00:58:35] Speaker E: Hold on, let me drop my ac. No, the other thing, before I forget.
[00:58:41] Speaker A: Also, Gruen, why are you in the room now?
[00:58:44] Speaker F: Sorry, I'm just thinking ahead and I can't see anything.
Which, of course, groom, can't see anything.
[00:58:54] Speaker B: You are okay. For the time being.
[00:58:57] Speaker A: Okay, groom, it is now your turn.
[00:59:02] Speaker F: Okay, so first action is going to be a move. Action?
I'm. How so? He's 15ft up. Wait, you said 15ft?
[00:59:17] Speaker B: He's back on the ground.
[00:59:19] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:59:19] Speaker F: He's back on the ground now.
[00:59:21] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:59:22] Speaker F: Okay. Uh, I.
[00:59:28] Speaker B: I will also let you know that both marrow and doomy are immobilized.
[00:59:34] Speaker F: Yeah, this is.
[00:59:36] Speaker B: Which I believe it gives them heavy penalties to any kind of reflex saves.
[00:59:41] Speaker D: Let me check my sheet real quick.
[00:59:42] Speaker F: Actually, if only they, too, had fire resistance.
[00:59:46] Speaker D: It doesn't actually give me a penalty. My saves.
[00:59:50] Speaker B: I don't think you had to mobilize on.
[00:59:52] Speaker D: I do, actually.
[00:59:56] Speaker F: Um. Is web flammable?
[00:59:59] Speaker B: Uh, not technically. Yes, technically, but not technically, because you would have to attempt. You cannot burn the web away.
[01:00:09] Speaker A: You have to take an escape.
[01:00:11] Speaker B: Like hitting them with fire is not going to instantly burn the web.
[01:00:15] Speaker F: That is unfortunate.
[01:00:17] Speaker C: I was going to say, but remember when we were fighting the Drake? And because it was in water, it took extra from Illyana's lightning based attacks, and we retconned it that way because it made sense.
Are these super spider man webs?
[01:00:35] Speaker B: They are more than just your regular web because these are more than just your regular spiders.
[01:00:43] Speaker F: Okay, so I'm going to come up here because I can't see them. I actually. I can't see the old. The other one until I, like, actually get right there.
And I am going to. Nope, nope, nope, nope. And cast whirling flames and let me double check how many whirling flames I get, because, okay, they can't. They're ten foot burst, up to two, and then every plus two, you get another, um, so three fifth level spell gives me three, and they do eight d, six. Wait, is that right? Yeah, eight d, six each for three of them. Um, they're all ten foot bursts, so make reflex. Yep.
So we got a ten foot burst here.
Um, and a ten foot burst here will not interrupt, interact with each other, but we'll both hit that guy. And then a ten foot burst right on top of the one that has doomy, because it's just like, nope, nope, nope. Burn it with fire.
[01:02:06] Speaker B: Uh, first, the one that's next to marrow got a 32. Uh, and the one that's next to.
[01:02:13] Speaker A: Doomy got a 30.
[01:02:14] Speaker F: Uh, yup. And the one next to marrow needs to make another one, because he deals with two.
[01:02:20] Speaker B: That one crit succeeded.
[01:02:22] Speaker F: Okay, so marrow and then doomy, respectively, are going to be half of each of those.
[01:02:34] Speaker A: Why are they going to be half?
[01:02:36] Speaker F: Because they succeeded. I only have a DC 27.
[01:02:41] Speaker A: They didn't roll.
[01:02:43] Speaker C: What was that, 32 and crit success.
[01:02:46] Speaker D: That the groom was referring to? The monsters?
[01:02:50] Speaker B: Spiders. Spiders. That's who I was rolling for. Yeah, I didn't know if marrow and Doomy were in that, so.
[01:02:58] Speaker A: Oh, I think.
[01:02:59] Speaker E: I think he meant just our spiders.
[01:03:01] Speaker F: Yeah, there's.
[01:03:02] Speaker B: Okay, I was confused.
[01:03:07] Speaker F: Yeah, sorry, that was badly worded. I'm attacking the spiders, not marrow and doomy.
[01:03:13] Speaker B: I was just literally, like, what?
[01:03:17] Speaker E: Suddenly groom turns on all of us?
[01:03:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I just wanted to make sure, because you specifically said to marrow and Doomy and just went, what?
[01:03:25] Speaker F: Well, you know, I just have to run faster than y'all, which is pretty easy, because right now, you're attached to the ground.
[01:03:34] Speaker D: Okay, test me.
[01:03:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:03:36] Speaker B: Uh, Estrella, your turn.
[01:03:38] Speaker C: 1 second. I'm putting my hair up, and. And I can't see God like a.
[01:03:43] Speaker D: Bad bitch when you control astrea.
[01:03:45] Speaker E: Like the violet bottle error.
Gotta put your hair up so you can battle.
[01:03:52] Speaker C: Yep. Um, okay, I'm gonna do really simple, um, turn, and it's just complete buffing and whatnot, because I actually can't see into the room, and I rather just give us all the buffs we need before I enter the room.
So I'm going to inspire courage, then harmonize, and then I'm going to inspire heroics in that order, which will be all three of my turns. So I just need to roll to see if I can get us a good buff or not.
[01:04:30] Speaker A: Mm hmm.
[01:04:33] Speaker D: Mm hmm. Mm hmm.
[01:04:35] Speaker A: Mm. Mm hmm.
[01:04:38] Speaker C: That's very high.
Just gonna. Just gonna double checks just like I thought. 37.
[01:04:49] Speaker A: 37.
[01:04:49] Speaker B: Yeah. That is, I believe, a crit success.
[01:04:52] Speaker C: Okay, so I guess that means everybody's got plus three to everything, right? Yes, that's right. Just. You just get one of the most epic guitar solos in the other room. In the hallway.
[01:05:09] Speaker E: Backstage at a concert.
[01:05:10] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
It's like, oh, yeah. Okay, do your thing, guys.
I would get into the room, but I can't quite literally, you know?
Yeah, that's my whole turn.
[01:05:25] Speaker B: All right, we're back to the top with marrow.
[01:05:28] Speaker D: All right, 1 second.
Okay. I would like to commit an act of violence. I say I'm sorting out my poskets for a little doodle while we do this.
[01:05:36] Speaker C: Um, but can't you not move?
[01:05:38] Speaker D: I can.
[01:05:39] Speaker A: It's.
[01:05:39] Speaker D: It's next to me, I think, immobilized.
[01:05:41] Speaker C: Oh, it's next to you. I can't see.
[01:05:44] Speaker D: Oh.
[01:05:44] Speaker C: That's why I can only assume where it is.
[01:05:48] Speaker G: And I don't enter the room on purpose.
[01:05:50] Speaker D: I'm sorry. It is directly next to me. I it has not made the mistake of running away. And now that I have a plus three, I it has a lot of legs is the problem. So I don't know if I can trip very well. You know, like, I feel like I'm gonna flurry of blows for first action. I don't think. I don't think it's for tripping something with eight legs. I only have, like, two legs, and they're kind of stuck to the floor right now. So, uh, let's try. If Floria blows it, let's sunning strike it.
[01:06:23] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:06:24] Speaker D: My stunning beauty will. Okay, that's. That's a very high number to hit. Thank you, Estrella, for my life.
[01:06:32] Speaker B: What's the number?
[01:06:33] Speaker D: Um, let me do some math real quick. Uh, 33 for the first hit.
[01:06:38] Speaker A: 33. Okay.
[01:06:40] Speaker D: Okay. The second hit.
Jesus. Jesus Christ, dice.
[01:06:46] Speaker B: I don't know if that's good or bad.
[01:06:48] Speaker D: It's not good. That's like a 2020.
[01:06:51] Speaker B: It's not gonna hit. It's also on a crit fail. So you get one solid hit in there.
[01:06:56] Speaker D: Get one solid punch. That's roll for punch. And it does have to make a save against. Stunning strike.
[01:07:03] Speaker A: 29.
[01:07:05] Speaker D: That saves, but does take 15 points of getting punched in the face damage.
[01:07:09] Speaker B: Cool.
[01:07:10] Speaker D: Uh, my second action, I kind of want it out of my face, so can I try rembringing it?
[01:07:17] Speaker A: Sure.
[01:07:18] Speaker D: Let's do a two action rendering. I know escaping counts as an attack and I don't want to try to escape in a minus eight. Uh, so let's make me a fortitude save again.
[01:07:27] Speaker A: Uh, 31.
[01:07:31] Speaker D: Oh, no, it's not a crit success, but it's a regular success. So it's pushed half the distance and takes half damage, which is, uh, what, 5ft. 5ft. Because I used two actions. Yeah. And it's gonna take half of which I'm just gonna roll.
[01:07:45] Speaker A: 2D.
[01:07:46] Speaker B: No, there's not a. There's not a penalty for crit failing an escape. So it's escape.
[01:07:51] Speaker D: Yeah. It's five points of force damage. I'd rather have it waste a turn having to crawl back to me than wasting a turn trying to escape, you know?
[01:07:59] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:08:00] Speaker D: So, yeah, that is all my actions. I'm still stuck to the floor, but I have punched it and pushed it away with a ring.
[01:08:06] Speaker A: Mm hmm.
Ileana, is your turn.
Okay, I'm gonna do sudden bolt one.
[01:08:13] Speaker G: More time on that one. One more time.
[01:08:18] Speaker B: I believe. Yeah, that's only gonna be a 21.
[01:08:21] Speaker A: So that is a failure.
[01:08:23] Speaker C: Yay.
[01:08:27] Speaker G: And because I did that, it's only four d. Twelve.
Okay. You two are totally going to dice jail, by the way.
[01:08:38] Speaker A: Dice jail.
[01:08:44] Speaker G: Because I don't like it if they don't roll higher than a.
[01:08:48] Speaker C: Ten.
[01:08:50] Speaker A: Because that is what is I.
[01:08:51] Speaker G: My calculator.
[01:08:55] Speaker A: I just keep the calculator open on.
[01:08:56] Speaker B: My computer and just.
[01:08:58] Speaker G: That is 38.
[01:09:00] Speaker B: 38, cool.
[01:09:02] Speaker A: It's still standing and I'm just gonna.
[01:09:05] Speaker G: Use shield and stay out in the hallway.
[01:09:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:09:09] Speaker G: Ileana's not going in that room.
[01:09:13] Speaker B: So this fighter is gonna start off its turn by shooting a web at you.
[01:09:17] Speaker A: Gruin. Sorry, groon.
[01:09:20] Speaker B: It doesn't like that you attacked it fire.
And that is going to be a 36.
[01:09:28] Speaker F: Yeah, that'll hit.
[01:09:29] Speaker B: You are immobilized now.
[01:09:32] Speaker A: And then it will spend an action move.
[01:09:36] Speaker C: Oh, I can see it now. It's a big boy.
[01:09:40] Speaker B: So big.
And so second action was to move. So now it is all in front of you and Australia, you get your first view of these giant spiders, these horses sized spiders.
Me suddenly wondering if we need to put a content warning on this. Um, yeah, maybe, maybe possibility.
[01:10:02] Speaker C: However, as somebody who both, who loves them in real life, um, I'm making Astrea love them. So you see her a little too excited for these things, you know, Ileana.
[01:10:12] Speaker G: Judging her so harshly.
[01:10:16] Speaker C: Whatever you say. Which woman?
[01:10:21] Speaker B: And grune, uh, this thing, it fangs come down at you. Uh, and that is going to be a, uh, 29.
[01:10:31] Speaker F: Wait, what's the bonus from the inspire card.
[01:10:35] Speaker C: Plus three.
[01:10:37] Speaker F: Is that already included?
I think that might actually. Okay. Trains, leather armor, potency rune.
[01:10:49] Speaker A: Oh.
[01:10:49] Speaker F: What type of bonus is it?
[01:10:51] Speaker C: Um, I always forget it immediately.
[01:10:55] Speaker D: Circumstance.
[01:10:56] Speaker C: It should be circumstance, status bonus. Outside circumstance is always what I think it is, but I know it's not.
[01:11:05] Speaker F: So it's a plus three. Cert circumstance bonus, status bonus, or. Yeah, plus three. That misses. I have an ac of 31. That's good.
[01:11:18] Speaker B: And that's a turn. Demisa is now your turn.
[01:11:22] Speaker D: Okay.
Immobile.
[01:11:25] Speaker E: It just keeps me where I am.
[01:11:28] Speaker A: Correct.
[01:11:28] Speaker B: Yeah. You have to spend an action to escape.
[01:11:32] Speaker C: Okay, well, they all came to me.
[01:11:35] Speaker E: So I don't want to go anywhere, so. So let's see here. Action one would be to try to scare the living daylights out of them with nothing but my glowing eyes.
[01:11:48] Speaker B: Which are you doing?
[01:11:51] Speaker A: Both of them.
[01:11:52] Speaker E: I don't think I can do both of them.
[01:11:53] Speaker B: I think you can only do one at a time.
[01:11:55] Speaker E: Well, I'm only gonna do the one that.
Does one look rougher than the other, or are they about the same right now?
[01:12:02] Speaker B: The one you've been hitting? Because it's the one that's been hit and being hit by Illyana's lightnings twice.
[01:12:10] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:12:11] Speaker E: Then I'll get the one that personally offended me. Okay, that's gonna be 20, which should do the trick. Yes, it will.
Consider it frightened.
And then I shall.
[01:12:27] Speaker C: Slashy, slashy.
[01:12:30] Speaker E: Oh, bless. I actually rolled really good.
[01:12:34] Speaker A: 30, 38.
[01:12:36] Speaker B: And that's also going to be a crit.
[01:12:38] Speaker E: I thought as much.
It would be hilarious if I got a triple and back on it because it tripled me, but I have no.
[01:12:46] Speaker A: Idea what I'm going to get.
[01:12:48] Speaker B: Oh, here is.
It's a slash.
[01:12:52] Speaker E: Oh, right. Oh, nevermind. Yeah, yeah.
[01:12:56] Speaker B: Sorry, I panicked for a minute. Yeah, you're good. You leave it wide open. The target is flat footed until the end of its next turn.
[01:13:03] Speaker E: That's unfortunate for it. While it's sitting there flat footed, mouth.
[01:13:08] Speaker D: Agape.
[01:13:11] Speaker E: It'S going to take all this. Right. And didn't miss anything.
Nope. It's going to take 82 points of damage.
[01:13:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:13:22] Speaker B: Um, actually, just how do you. How do you want it to end its career?
[01:13:25] Speaker E: Great. Um, I'll just do a nice little, uh, stab up the belly, um, and. And then pull the sword back out nice and clean.
Oh, and I have a snyder.
[01:13:40] Speaker A: Yes, you do.
[01:13:41] Speaker E: And I'm pretty sure the other one's in range, correct?
[01:13:44] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:13:47] Speaker D: I'm so mad.
[01:13:48] Speaker E: I got a natural 20, but I.
[01:13:49] Speaker D: Have a minus five attack.
[01:13:50] Speaker E: Penalty, it's still gonna hit.
[01:13:51] Speaker D: I'm pretty confident. But that 20, I don't know if.
[01:13:55] Speaker E: A nat 20 counts in this situation.
[01:13:58] Speaker B: I mean, that 20 knocks it up one level of success.
It's gonna. If it's gonna hit, it will crit.
[01:14:05] Speaker D: Well, it's a 36.
[01:14:08] Speaker B: That's one of my favorite things, is not 20. Can push it from a failure to a. To a success rad and or a success to a critical hit. So you crit again.
[01:14:19] Speaker C: Love that.
[01:14:21] Speaker B: I love. I love how much you could again.
[01:14:28] Speaker D: All right, that's gonna be even more damage.
[01:14:34] Speaker E: Oh, shoot. Hang on. I think that's gonna be 95, but.
[01:14:39] Speaker A: Let me just double check.
[01:14:41] Speaker B: This one was two for one, but I don't think you want to take it. I don't think there's no other target to hit. Yeah, it's only deal normal damage, but you hit both targets. But there's no other target to hit.
[01:14:59] Speaker D: Oh, 92.
[01:15:00] Speaker A: Sorry.
[01:15:00] Speaker C: 92.
[01:15:01] Speaker B: 92. It is still standing root of it.
[01:15:05] Speaker D: But that's okay.
[01:15:05] Speaker E: I know someone else will take care of it.
[01:15:07] Speaker A: Yep.
Groomed is now your turn.
[01:15:12] Speaker F: Okay. Um, you know what? I'm going to roll an intelligence check because I'm trying to figure out just how terrified I am, assuming I can figure out how to do that on this.
[01:15:27] Speaker B: Oh, you can always roll a will save.
[01:15:30] Speaker F: I'm really good at will saves, though. I'd much rather roll intelligence.
[01:15:34] Speaker B: Okay.
I don't think there's any way to roll straight with intel.
[01:15:41] Speaker F: Okay. Yeah. So I'm going to be stupid.
So I'm going to start chucking fireballs at it, because I've been trying to figure out excuse to use this fireball necklace, honestly. So I will need first, I'll need one.
One deck save.
[01:16:03] Speaker B: And doesn't the necklace act like a fireball spell?
[01:16:07] Speaker F: Yes, I can.
It'll be kind of over there. I've been doing this enough. I'm really good at aiming 20ft away from things.
[01:16:18] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:16:19] Speaker F: And it's not quite a fireball cell. It's a DC 21 reflex save.
[01:16:25] Speaker B: Yeah, it rolled in that 20.
[01:16:27] Speaker F: Okay. And I'll do it again.
46. Let's see if we could do another one. Like I said, I'm being stupid. I rolled a, by the way, I got a three on that intelligence check, people.
[01:16:40] Speaker A: That's.
[01:16:42] Speaker B: And that's going to be a 27.
[01:16:44] Speaker F: Okay, so that's a regular fail.
[01:16:47] Speaker B: Thought it was.
[01:16:48] Speaker A: Thought it's DC was 21.
I thought the DC.
[01:16:52] Speaker F: A regular irregular success.
[01:16:54] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:16:57] Speaker F: No, you're in the way.
[01:16:58] Speaker A: There we go.
[01:17:00] Speaker F: Wow. That's a lot. Although, does that get increased by the inspire courage?
[01:17:06] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I add, like, a plus three damage.
[01:17:09] Speaker B: Now, and then half to five.
[01:17:12] Speaker F: Okay. And then one more save, because I'm just gonna. I'm gonna go create. Actually, no, for the last one, I'll save that, and I'll use a fire ray at it.
[01:17:23] Speaker A: Or.
[01:17:24] Speaker F: Sorry, not the fire ray, the fire toss.
Why is my mouse not working? There we go. And I need to add a plus three.
Does a 25 hit.
[01:17:36] Speaker A: 25 hits.
[01:17:37] Speaker F: Yay.
This is probably gonna do so much more damage than that would. That is 25. Plus another two for the. Oh, wait, that's a status bonus for the. And the what gives me a circumstance bonus. That should be plus five.
Um, uh, no, they're both status bonuses, so just plus three.
[01:18:04] Speaker A: Okay. So 28.
[01:18:05] Speaker F: Yep. And that'll be my turn.
[01:18:09] Speaker A: Okay, let's try it.
[01:18:10] Speaker B: It's not your turn.
[01:18:12] Speaker C: Yes. And now this is a question I have to ask because I had to look at inspire heroku and realize that technically, I've been doing it out of order, even though I'm, like, I'm right, but, like, you're just doing it wrong. Yeah, I'm just doing it the wrong order, which is hilarious. However, after reading this. And now. Now this is up to. Up to you because it makes sense, and it doesn't make sense.
So the terms of what happens based on spire heroics is that it is inspire courage or inspired offense that gets the increase. However, I harmonize, and harmonizing works with both compositions being considered as one.
[01:18:53] Speaker E: So.
[01:18:55] Speaker C: So, I don't know. Do you want me to just continue doing this the way I have been doing this, or do you want me to pick one? Because I. That just means we have to remember that certain things are now split in what they get in what people getting in buffs.
[01:19:12] Speaker A: Hmm.
[01:19:13] Speaker B: I'm like, which one is easier for us at this moment?
I mean, we could just continue doing it as we should, as we can, until at least the end of this episode. We'll take a look at it. We'll decide off camera.
[01:19:25] Speaker C: Yeah, no, I'm like, it's mostly because I'm trying to see how lingering comp works again. Like, just double checking it. And the best part, or at least the thing is right now, I can't use it. I just gotta keep sustaining super much, which is, like, fine with me. But that's what led to it. Me trying to figure out if I can do this at all and realizing how confusing the wording actually is because of harmonize.
So, yeah, there is that.
But if you want to keep doing it until, like, after, like, after session, we can do that.
[01:20:01] Speaker B: We'll figure it out between.
[01:20:03] Speaker C: Yes. It really is just harmonized on. Fucked me up on my understanding of this.
Okay, cool, cool, cool. It's my turn. How bad does the cool spider look?
[01:20:16] Speaker B: Pretty bad.
[01:20:17] Speaker C: Pretty bad.
[01:20:18] Speaker B: I'd say it's a quarter of its health.
[01:20:21] Speaker C: Okay. I am going to keep. Keep sustaining, essentially.
[01:20:29] Speaker A: So.
[01:20:29] Speaker C: So we still have our bonuses. And then, yeah, I'll just telekinetic projectile it. The good old, say old fling some debris and bones. Whatever I see around me, there's like.
[01:20:47] Speaker B: A chair leg behind it.
[01:20:49] Speaker C: That's okay. I give it the chair. You know, the good old WWE chair slam.
[01:20:54] Speaker A: Ah.
[01:20:55] Speaker B: Chair.
But it's like bonk with a chair.
[01:20:58] Speaker C: Yeah, bonk.
34.
[01:21:04] Speaker B: 34 is gonna hit, and it's gonna be a crit.
[01:21:09] Speaker C: Oh, delicious.
[01:21:12] Speaker A: Yes, it'll be great.
[01:21:16] Speaker C: I guess I'll just take the double damage straight up, because I'm hoping to kill it outright.
[01:21:24] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[01:21:25] Speaker B: Just take the double image. This one is. This one is absolutely no use to you. It's just the target can't activate magic items, cast spells, or use quilt quick alchemy until the end of its next turn.
[01:21:34] Speaker C: You imagine it just pulls out alchemist tools. Like, shit. I gotta make myself a bit of a potion here.
[01:21:40] Speaker E: Got eight arms, you think of your.
[01:21:43] Speaker C: Probably. Yeah, no, you're correct. I think you'd be very good at it. Okay, 46.
[01:21:49] Speaker B: 46.
[01:21:50] Speaker C: Yeah. Because it's doubling, right?
[01:21:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:21:51] Speaker B: How do you want to take this thing out?
[01:21:55] Speaker C: WWE chair slam.
But instead of, like, the chair, you know, like, maybe, possibly, like, it would have broken over, it just gets jammed right in there and takes it out entirely. And the strayer goes from, like, to totally excited about this spider to a little bit horrified at the. At the. How super effective a chair was. She's like, oh, no. Oh, my God. Oh, go splat. Oh. Oh, it's squelching.
[01:22:28] Speaker D: And the winner is Australia. I will say, as I try to free myself from the web.
[01:22:33] Speaker B: Yeah, I'd say you could take a. Take a minute and free.
[01:22:39] Speaker A: Those out of the way.
[01:22:40] Speaker E: Wasn't so bad.
[01:22:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:22:43] Speaker A: Is there anything cool?
[01:22:46] Speaker B: There does appear to be, like, a small little thing of. It looks to be assorted coins and a couple less gems and some very small knickknacks.
[01:22:59] Speaker E: Can I please take some of the money?
[01:23:03] Speaker C: Yeah, I would also like to collect some.
[01:23:06] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:23:06] Speaker A: Um, let's see.
Okay.
[01:23:11] Speaker B: Um, it is going to be mostly silver and copper. Uh, it does appear to be. Um, I. You. One of you has that spell that just lets you go. It's that much.
[01:23:24] Speaker C: It's me. It's me. And it's not a spell, it's my mind.
[01:23:27] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[01:23:28] Speaker A: You.
[01:23:28] Speaker B: You just have. Have the ability to.
[01:23:31] Speaker C: Yeah, I got it. The eyes for numbers. I just look.
[01:23:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:23:37] Speaker B: You collect up what is probably about 500 copper, 300 silver, and about 60 gold.
There are about five gemstones of about ten golds worth. And there's going to be two more minor healing elixirs.
[01:24:03] Speaker C: And could you just write down. Yeah. Thank you.
[01:24:07] Speaker E: I'm not sure if I got all those numbers correctly.
[01:24:09] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, good.
[01:24:12] Speaker C: Do you just want to put, like, the copper and the silver in the party funds, and then we just split up the gold amongst all of us?
[01:24:21] Speaker E: That works?
[01:24:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:24:23] Speaker E: We have one gemstone.
[01:24:25] Speaker C: I'm cool with it.
[01:24:27] Speaker A: Yeah, these are, like, pretty basic, like.
[01:24:29] Speaker B: Malachite and, like, tiger's eye and stuff. They're very pretty. Uh, but, like, they're not, like, they're not like diamonds.
[01:24:39] Speaker D: Sure, sure.
[01:24:40] Speaker E: So that's what, ten gold per person?
[01:24:42] Speaker C: Yeah. If it's like 50.
[01:24:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah.
[01:24:46] Speaker B: This looks like it maybe was some sort of guard posts. There are some statues.
There is a poor, unfortunate soul wrapped up in a web over there.
[01:24:56] Speaker D: Oh, gotta ask for my collection.
[01:25:03] Speaker A: None that you see.
[01:25:05] Speaker D: There's a whole man wrapped up and there's no bones.
[01:25:08] Speaker C: Yeah, no, there's no bones.
[01:25:11] Speaker B: It's just the shape of a person. You haven't gone over to, like, check it out.
[01:25:17] Speaker D: Can I poke it with a stick?
[01:25:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:25:20] Speaker B: And you do. It sort of just depresses inward.
[01:25:23] Speaker D: Uh, that's unfortunate.
[01:25:25] Speaker A: I didn't like.
[01:25:26] Speaker B: There's like, a little poof of dust when you do it. This thing's been here for a while.
[01:25:30] Speaker C: Can I listen to the other side of the door?
[01:25:32] Speaker A: Uh uh. Give me a perception check.
[01:25:37] Speaker C: Uh, oh, and for reference to. To the audience, there I am. On the other. The other. This room had two doors. One we came in and another that we haven't seen yet.
[01:25:45] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:25:47] Speaker C: My perception is a 28.
[01:25:50] Speaker A: 28.
[01:25:52] Speaker B: You don't hear anything directly outside the door.
[01:25:54] Speaker C: It sounds.
Excuse me. It sounds like we're okay to go, actually. How are you guys on health?
[01:26:04] Speaker E: I've been worse.
[01:26:06] Speaker C: Would you like to be better?
[01:26:08] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:26:09] Speaker C: Come here.
[01:26:11] Speaker D: I will scoot to the side to allow this moment to happen.
When the map lets me do it.
[01:26:17] Speaker E: You do a stick flip first.
[01:26:21] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:26:22] Speaker B: Do a backflip.
[01:26:23] Speaker C: I need you to. I need you to, like, bend all the way down okay. You're a lot taller.
[01:26:33] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:26:34] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:26:35] Speaker E: I'll do so suspiciously.
[01:26:39] Speaker C: And I take out one of the. My. No, I take out the lesser healing potion. I just shove it in your mouth.
It's like, bottle style.
[01:26:49] Speaker E: You know, I had three of these in my bag.
[01:26:53] Speaker C: That's okay.
[01:26:55] Speaker F: Meanwhile, groon's like, turn away marrow. I think they're gonna do vore.
[01:27:02] Speaker D: No, I was cackling like, who taught you that word again? Is it me?
[01:27:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it was you.
[01:27:12] Speaker E: But you sell. But we have to suffer.
[01:27:15] Speaker C: Well, you can't. You can't even talk. You can't even talk yet.
I'm, like, bottle feeding you. I'm just shoving it in your mouth.
[01:27:23] Speaker D: That's not what.
[01:27:26] Speaker C: You'Re rolling to. You're two d eight plus five. But I could roll it if you want.
[01:27:31] Speaker E: Yeah, I got this.
[01:27:33] Speaker D: Part of me is like, shit. Tell groom what Vor is. Just so she knows and can stop asking us about it. Yes.
[01:27:38] Speaker E: Oh, off camera.
[01:27:42] Speaker D: I will not actually describe it, but I will tell Rune what Vor actually is so we don't get demonetized.
[01:27:50] Speaker F: She just looks terrified.
[01:27:53] Speaker E: Poor rune. Innocence taken from her.
[01:27:58] Speaker D: There's worse things that you don't know about. Let's leave it at that.
[01:28:02] Speaker C: I want to make so many comments, but I'm not going to because I don't want Aubrey to edit out anymore.
[01:28:08] Speaker A: Thank you.
[01:28:10] Speaker C: But, yeah.
[01:28:10] Speaker G: Um.
[01:28:11] Speaker C: What?
[01:28:12] Speaker D: You heal 13?
[01:28:15] Speaker C: You want another one?
[01:28:17] Speaker E: How many do you have?
[01:28:19] Speaker A: Yes, of quite a bit.
[01:28:20] Speaker C: Enough.
[01:28:22] Speaker E: Um, what was those elixirs we just picked up?
[01:28:26] Speaker C: Maybe.
[01:28:28] Speaker E: Are those healing elixirs or just mysterious elixirs? Mystery meat in a bottle.
[01:28:35] Speaker C: I'm pretty sure they are healing. I mean, you're not dying now, so.
No.
Do you want another one?
[01:28:45] Speaker E: Yes, but myself.
[01:28:47] Speaker A: Thank you.
[01:28:49] Speaker C: Too bad you're already like this. You're already this level, and. And instead of another one, I actually know I will. I will just keep giving you another. I don't waste my, um.
Actually, how bad are you? Because I have so many minor healing ones, and I think the minor healings only do, like, a d eight plus.
[01:29:13] Speaker E: Not. I'm not bad. I'm at. I'm almost at 100. I'm only, like, 50. 50 below my max.
[01:29:19] Speaker C: God, I wish I knew how that.
Yeah, no, the. If I went, I'm 50 below my health, I'd be, like, dragging myself on the ground.
[01:29:28] Speaker E: Meanwhile, I'm like. I'm not even halfway.
[01:29:31] Speaker C: Well, if you want some. If you want to chug some of the baby ones, we do have a lot of baby ones.
[01:29:36] Speaker D: I will, yeah.
[01:29:37] Speaker E: I'll do one more. I feel like that's fine.
[01:29:40] Speaker C: Well, you're still my. You're still my height level, so just. I pop another tinier potion in your mouth, baby bottle style.
[01:29:49] Speaker E: Is this just one d eight, you.
[01:29:51] Speaker C: Said, I think, but I'm not, I'm not sure. It's a minor healing potion.
[01:29:56] Speaker E: It says it's.
[01:29:57] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:29:58] Speaker E: One d eight five.
[01:30:02] Speaker C: That should.
[01:30:04] Speaker E: That should do me for. I'm sure. Event considering a.
[01:30:07] Speaker C: Stop.
[01:30:07] Speaker E: Considering spellcasters among us look a little on the tired side.
[01:30:13] Speaker C: Hoo. I mean, eventually. So, yeah, this door sounds like there's nothing and we good to go in, everybody?
[01:30:23] Speaker D: Can I. Can I chug a weak potion real quick? You just toss you one.
[01:30:27] Speaker C: I toss.
You want one of the minor ones, right?
[01:30:31] Speaker D: Yeah, one of the weaker ones.
[01:30:33] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:30:34] Speaker D: How much did they heal again? One.
[01:30:35] Speaker C: Dude.
[01:30:37] Speaker D: Nice.
[01:30:37] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:30:38] Speaker F: How are you looking?
I didn't think they got too hurt.
[01:30:42] Speaker D: I'm so angry because I rolled a one, but now I'm at 99 and I went up to 100.
[01:30:49] Speaker A: So I'm.
[01:30:49] Speaker D: At a cool exact 100. I can't even be mad because now I'm at like the perfect prime 100.
[01:30:54] Speaker E: Yeah, you drank it and it was like a little bit expired, but like, not in a bad way, just in a non effective way.
[01:31:03] Speaker D: I think this one.
[01:31:04] Speaker B: You feel just a little better? Just a little.
[01:31:08] Speaker D: Yeah, it was dehydrated. Hit the spot.
[01:31:11] Speaker E: Yeah, it's like a Gatorade.
[01:31:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:31:14] Speaker D: Red Bull.
Thank you.
[01:31:16] Speaker E: I can just replenish some electrolytes.
[01:31:19] Speaker C: Okay, I'm gonna open the door then.
[01:31:21] Speaker D: All right, let's go.
[01:31:25] Speaker E: A hallway and then a left turn and then a long hallway.
[01:31:30] Speaker C: Yes. Longer hallway.
[01:31:32] Speaker B: Long hallway. Red crystals.
It appears to be another hallway coming up on your right.
[01:31:39] Speaker E: Sleep. Peek around it.
[01:31:41] Speaker C: Stealthy.
[01:31:41] Speaker D: Stealthy.
[01:31:42] Speaker E: Should I roll stealth?
[01:31:44] Speaker B: Sure.
[01:31:46] Speaker C: I'm going to do the same.
[01:31:47] Speaker G: Please.
[01:31:48] Speaker D: Same here.
[01:31:50] Speaker C: Oh, I'm going to use a hero point, please.
Uh, rolled a 20.
[01:31:55] Speaker A: I got a 262-424-2121 you know, like.
[01:32:05] Speaker C: The v. Oh, I see something with myself.
[01:32:07] Speaker D: It's a 36.
[01:32:09] Speaker B: Oh, yes, you do see, sort of like for a moment, it's like a wisp of a figure and then it moves out of sight.
[01:32:17] Speaker E: That's down the further hallway.
[01:32:20] Speaker C: Further down. Further down the hall to which Australia might, like, grab your perceptions.
[01:32:27] Speaker B: And they both rolled single digits.
[01:32:29] Speaker E: Both.
[01:32:30] Speaker C: Haha.
[01:32:32] Speaker E: Gonna just duck down the empty hallway?
[01:32:38] Speaker C: I wish to also listen at the door.
[01:32:41] Speaker B: Ears perception checks.
[01:32:44] Speaker C: Oh, that's really good.
[01:32:46] Speaker E: I'm gonna use a hairpin.
[01:32:49] Speaker C: Thank God for those two.
Yep. Okay.
[01:32:52] Speaker A: 323-230-2032 anyone else listening or anything?
[01:33:03] Speaker D: I hope the gays got it.
[01:33:08] Speaker A: Astray.
[01:33:09] Speaker B: You hear words that are in common, but a little bit too muffled to me.
[01:33:13] Speaker F: Make out I think there's real people.
[01:33:19] Speaker C: I don't trust that there. It's in common, but I don't know what they're saying.
[01:33:25] Speaker E: If it's common, be a living person. That could just be someone here ruin our day. But we also know there are ghosts. Granted, we are very uniquely touching ghosts.
[01:33:37] Speaker A: Part of us.
[01:33:39] Speaker C: Meryl, do you want to take a peek?
[01:33:42] Speaker D: I can take a peek.
[01:33:43] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:33:43] Speaker D: Jade Bisfats.
Hey, let me roll a stealth to take a peek.
That's only a 22, unfortunately, but I will take the peek anyways.
[01:33:54] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:33:56] Speaker D: Oh, there's just nothing here.
[01:33:57] Speaker A: Huh?
[01:33:58] Speaker B: And as you peek and you open the door, you feel that sort of rushed of energy like you have before with the other haunts. And this. It's interesting because part of this room has collapsed.
Part of the haunt seems to be happening where these crystals are. And you see sort of what at one point, maybe was like a long table, and standing around, there are shapes. There are people. It looks you.
You, Merrill, recognize your father. And you can guess that there are probably some other gods around it. And.
[01:34:43] Speaker A: You hear your father say, well.
[01:34:48] Speaker B: We'Re still doing this, right?
And there's a woman who's across.
You see a bow slung on her back, and she sort of holding an otter. She goes, you know what'll happen if we don't?
And he nods.
[01:35:08] Speaker A: And it's like, power doesn't last as.
[01:35:13] Speaker B: Long as I thought.
[01:35:15] Speaker A: I think I mistranslated.
[01:35:20] Speaker B: And someone else who appears to. Well, you, marrow, did you have the. You did not have. You don't recognize him. He just looks in gaudy clothing and a very shitty looking beard.
[01:35:34] Speaker C: No, we knew. We knew. We knew because I straight up went.
[01:35:38] Speaker E: But it's just the bard.
[01:35:40] Speaker D: God, and you.
[01:35:40] Speaker C: And then everybody was like, hey, how.
[01:35:42] Speaker D: Could you say that?
[01:35:43] Speaker C: I was like, we are on different, separate levels.
[01:35:45] Speaker B: Well, I'm saying you don't know exactly what he looks like. You only had the description.
[01:35:52] Speaker F: Also double checking. You said they're holding an otter?
[01:35:55] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:35:56] Speaker E: Like the animal.
[01:35:57] Speaker D: Dimple?
[01:35:58] Speaker B: Yeah, it's dimple.
[01:35:59] Speaker C: Oh, that's my grandma.
[01:36:02] Speaker E: She just carries an otter around.
[01:36:04] Speaker D: Cool. She's a companion. It's her friend.
You.
[01:36:07] Speaker C: Do you know how deadly otters are? They will fuck you up.
[01:36:11] Speaker E: I mean, yeah, but they're also, like, freaking adorable.
[01:36:13] Speaker B: And I remember they're better than what Jeff did.
I remember what Jeff did to the Mothman.
[01:36:21] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's true.
[01:36:23] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:36:23] Speaker E: And Otter did kill Mothman once.
[01:36:25] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:36:26] Speaker D: Remember?
[01:36:27] Speaker C: Like, a group of otters could really.
[01:36:30] Speaker E: Really, really fuck up your day.
[01:36:33] Speaker B: And the bard, God, remulus, you know, he's kind of like, lounging in a chair, you know, feet up on the table like an asshole.
And she goes, that's not the first thing you got wrong, you know.
I mean, it's really, really hard to have an audience when I have to kill someone, you know?
[01:37:00] Speaker A: And I remember what happened, and Swan is like, don't sing.
[01:37:08] Speaker B: And remembers, like, why you missed your boyfriend.
[01:37:14] Speaker A: No.
[01:37:15] Speaker D: Both the exes are in the same room.
[01:37:16] Speaker C: Wait a minute.
Wait.
[01:37:20] Speaker E: This is actually a fun haunt. It's that trauma.
[01:37:22] Speaker C: This is a very fun haunt. But now I have to.
[01:37:26] Speaker A: Uh huh.
[01:37:28] Speaker C: Technically. Technically, if I'm were in this role, he'd be getting DP'd because dinful and doan are both.
[01:37:37] Speaker A: Continue.
[01:37:38] Speaker D: The girls are fighting.
[01:37:41] Speaker B: And sort of. You all watch as this ghost of a sirshu seems to move all through you and just goes, enough.
The seal has the ritual circle ready to go.
Let's all get down there and just get this done with.
And as she says that the. You feel the energy leave as all of the shapes fade away.
[01:38:08] Speaker C: I'm gonna just go further into the room just to double check if there's anything in there. But, boy, am I mumbling. We are not on any of the same levels. We are, like, leagues apart. I am a luxury that few can afford.
[01:38:23] Speaker B: What is few?
[01:38:24] Speaker A: Being prince the king of blockhouse.
[01:38:28] Speaker C: Yeah, he cannot afford.
[01:38:31] Speaker D: I'm just gonna mumble like, I wouldn't even have paid well, but not that low.
[01:38:40] Speaker A: Marill.
[01:38:41] Speaker C: I'm so glad that was worried for a hot second.
[01:38:43] Speaker A: Oh.
[01:38:44] Speaker B: All you see in the room is, like, the ruined table, chairs, and it looks like there were, like, tapestries and stuff on the wall at one point.
[01:38:51] Speaker A: Point.
[01:38:51] Speaker B: But they have deteriorated to the point where there's just sort of, like, bits of fabric hanging.
[01:38:57] Speaker C: Do you think this was their gamer lounge?
[01:39:00] Speaker D: Don't say it like that.
[01:39:02] Speaker C: What else am I going to say? They're all clearly clowns. And I could call this a clown car, but it doesn't move.
[01:39:10] Speaker D: It's like a. It's a scheming chamber.
[01:39:13] Speaker A: You know.
[01:39:16] Speaker C: On a. On a side note, do you know how weird it is that this was low key? A family gathering?
Yeah, I hate that as well.
I was mostly worried about just seeing, I don't know, like. Like complete parental trauma. I didn't expect to see it from two other ways.
[01:39:39] Speaker B: Also, a quick. Just did a straight up has australia put together that the person she saw in the temple at the beginning of season two and the person in this room now are the same person?
[01:39:52] Speaker C: I wasn't sure if I was allowed to ask that or not.
[01:39:55] Speaker B: I was. I was like, wait, I don't. Yes, you can totally put that together.
[01:40:01] Speaker C: Okay, well, as I'm. As I'm shitting on the gods, I'll just stop for a second and go with. Oh, wait.
[01:40:07] Speaker D: Hmm, hmm, hmm.
[01:40:11] Speaker C: That was an author. Yeah, we saw the author. For sure.
[01:40:14] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:40:16] Speaker C: Okay, I will. Okay, well, then I think I've met my grandmother in person.
[01:40:21] Speaker D: Excuse me?
[01:40:23] Speaker C: Well, I. Well, okay, before I knew, obviously, but you guys are very aware that they used to, like, regularly worship dimple, right?
[01:40:35] Speaker D: Yeah, her and kind of the sea God that I can't pronounce the name of, right?
[01:40:41] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, both of them. Um, do you remember back in Celsea when I went to offer up, uh, well, in offering to dimfall in her temple?
[01:40:55] Speaker D: I think. I think I do remember that. You weren't alone, right?
[01:40:57] Speaker C: No, I went with Karun, but.
[01:40:59] Speaker D: Oh, right.
[01:41:00] Speaker C: Yeah, both of us.
I'm pretty sure I saw her in there, but I just assumed it was, you know, followers.
[01:41:09] Speaker D: Ah.
[01:41:12] Speaker C: Well, now I really don't know. I.
I mean, I've lasted this long making clear prayers and shit to her, so I guess I'm not on a Gilead list yet.
[01:41:25] Speaker E: That's true. I mean, just one more we gotta look out for. And to look out for all of them.
[01:41:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:41:31] Speaker E: Familial relationships are not gonna save us or help us in any way. Actually, probably the opposite.
[01:41:40] Speaker C: Well, actually, I can't believe you're making me. Well, actually, especially in this room. Well, actually, technically, she just could. She controls luck as well. And that is what I want to thank her for.
The lucky.
[01:41:55] Speaker D: Luck.
[01:41:55] Speaker C: Yes, the incredible. I'm incredibly lucky, and I truly believe the majority of our intense damage to that sea drake and the fact that we also lived afterwards and stuff. And, you know, I was also impaled on a mast, and then I lived, so I was like, well, that's incredibly lucky.
[01:42:19] Speaker D: Oh, out of character. I'm sorry, but that massive hurt.
Okay, sorry.
[01:42:25] Speaker C: Mero says that and I can't. Astrea very slowly gives you a high five.
No, I.
You saw the opportunity, you took it. I respect you a little bit more from. It's not even that bad of a pun. I enjoyed it very much.
[01:42:42] Speaker D: I am honored.
[01:42:43] Speaker A: It was.
[01:42:44] Speaker C: That was a. That was very solid, actually. Thank you.
But, yeah, that's. That's what I mean. The luck part, low key, always credited to her because, you know, that's also a belief. But, like, I don't like any of this.
[01:42:58] Speaker E: Like I said, the familial relationship help us much. It just means we are extra screwed. There's a more and more every day.
[01:43:09] Speaker C: We are super screwed. But now I have another question, because I don't know how widely apparent it is. Mera, when you are on talking terms with your father, did he know you traveled with Dumi?
[01:43:28] Speaker E: He did.
[01:43:29] Speaker D: Did he knew that she was the tempest? And that's all that he really told me.
[01:43:34] Speaker C: Okay, but are you sure now? After we've had the biggest lore drop, like, last or two sessions ago?
[01:43:41] Speaker D: I I'm not sure. I never particularly asked him what he knew on a subject that. It's not like I'm gonna go up to him and say, hey, you know the person I'm traveling with that's really tall and buff and a raging lesbian? Is she a kid of your friend? Is this a thing?
[01:43:56] Speaker C: Well, yeah, no, no, but I'm. I'm asking you to. To think, reflect.
Did it ever seem extra Susan? Because.
[01:44:07] Speaker E: And it's not like what had. Cause she purposely tracked me down so she could kick my face in front of a billion people. Maternal instincts. Real strong.
[01:44:17] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm trying to think about, like, he never mentioned anything like, about this, right? Like, ever. It wasn't. He was just like, yeah, don't worry about that person you're with. It's just how it be. She's just tall in the tempest.
[01:44:32] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:44:33] Speaker D: Yeah. I never thought to mention it. Either he didn't know or more likely he did know, but just didn't think it's something that could be brought up or keeping it a secret. As usual. He kept many of those.
[01:44:48] Speaker E: Primary trait of godliness, it seems. Keeping drastic secrets. Intelligence.
[01:44:53] Speaker C: We got the.
Hey, Ileana, you wouldn't happen to also be somehow directly related to a God by any chance?
[01:45:02] Speaker G: I think we're good.
[01:45:04] Speaker A: We're.
[01:45:04] Speaker C: Thank God. I can't believe you're the most normal, devoted once.
[01:45:10] Speaker F: You're also pretty freaking gruen.
[01:45:12] Speaker C: No, Grune devoted herself to the seal, and then the seal came from the sky to fire us.
The sealed personally came to fire groom.
[01:45:23] Speaker E: Like, very literally.
[01:45:24] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:45:24] Speaker G: Yes, literally.
[01:45:26] Speaker C: So, no, no.
[01:45:27] Speaker E: If you're.
[01:45:28] Speaker C: If you're a cleric and you were devoted, you are definitely on this list of Tom fuckery. But no, I just wanted to connect the dots in some chaotic way of trying to figure out how fucked we are. Because in all of your interactions that were positive while traveling with us, with Doan, I don't think he's ever pegged me for Rin's relation.
[01:46:00] Speaker D: I don't think he did.
[01:46:02] Speaker C: Which means I am safer now.
[01:46:04] Speaker A: Boo. Boo.
[01:46:05] Speaker D: Boo.
I do know that I did. Unfortunately, Cassian, as a discussion.
And he just said, do not go near that under any circumstance. What did we do?
[01:46:20] Speaker C: I don't. Look, Ilyana, I don't think we were ever going to avoid it if he was me, mine, grandpapa. Okay. Like, just.
[01:46:28] Speaker E: We did fail step one. Yeah, we did.
[01:46:30] Speaker D: We felt stuff.
[01:46:31] Speaker C: I don't even think we were allowed to fail step one. Okay. Didn't he come to us?
[01:46:35] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:46:36] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[01:46:39] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:46:39] Speaker A: You.
[01:46:40] Speaker C: You were the coldest. Never mind. You're just the same by default. How. Oh, wait. We don't know you're a cultist.
[01:46:47] Speaker E: We don't know that.
[01:46:47] Speaker D: We don't know that.
[01:46:49] Speaker C: Do you know how fucking annoying this is to remember that you still has.
[01:46:54] Speaker G: Not been dropped.
[01:46:57] Speaker E: Relationship with Rin?
[01:46:59] Speaker C: Never mind. Never mind. X that. X all of that.
[01:47:01] Speaker D: We just.
[01:47:02] Speaker C: We just know that you're a little bit sus, but we don't exactly know how Sus. So once again, Ileana is technically, de facto the most normal.
[01:47:10] Speaker D: Wait, wait, wait. We do know that Ileana stole the.
[01:47:13] Speaker E: Mask because we saw Rin use the mask to heal himself.
So we do know she did a job for him. We know this much.
[01:47:21] Speaker D: That's true.
[01:47:22] Speaker C: But she also stole a bunch of other stuff which could there in fact mean that Rin just stole it from her because she. She came out with the bag of holding and stuff, too, you know, I mean.
[01:47:34] Speaker B: Very true.
[01:47:35] Speaker E: True.
[01:47:36] Speaker C: That's us right now.
[01:47:37] Speaker G: And it's wonderful.
[01:47:39] Speaker C: It's very funny because we also know that you're dead. And that if they went, I want this one.
And brought us back. Not only brought you back, but what did you want? A cat.
[01:47:53] Speaker D: And also that same faith. Fuck my dad. And we're not even going to go into that topic.
[01:47:56] Speaker C: No, we're not. At this point in time, the Fae are just fake. We don't care about them right now. We obviously care about them, but they are. They are of no relation to us right now here.
I personally would just wanted to figure out how fucked. Like. Like, if they knew in terms of, like, the ring relation. The answer is. I'm pretty sure it's no. For now.
[01:48:17] Speaker D: For now.
[01:48:18] Speaker E: Probably a very short time span.
[01:48:24] Speaker D: I do have a thought, actually. If they knew, they would probably have come after us with a lot more vim and vigor. Like, they want a certain very firepower coming out.
[01:48:34] Speaker E: They'd really know. Well, it's also, I guess we only know that only two of them are aware that we know the truth about them.
[01:48:45] Speaker D: Groot, I'm going to kill you for that comment in chat. I'm going to kill you for the foundry comment. But back to. Back to my thought before I get roasted again by. Yeah, Sparlock.
If Dimple visited you, is it because you were a follower or because she knew of your relation to her child? And if she didn't know, great. If she did know, the odds that, why doesn't every other God know? Because they've been coming after us because of me, not because of you.
[01:49:19] Speaker A: Right?
[01:49:19] Speaker G: Yeah.
[01:49:20] Speaker D: So she hasn't told them. If she knows, and I feel like she might know because it's quite oddly specific that she'd be in a temple that you were in. They don't just show up to people out of nowhere. I think. So maybe she hasn't told them yet.
[01:49:35] Speaker C: That was literally what I was going to say.
[01:49:39] Speaker D: Do you think.
[01:49:40] Speaker C: I mean. Sorry, you continue.
[01:49:43] Speaker D: Do you think it's kind of, like, from what we've seen of these visions, Solacca is still terrible mom award, don't get me wrong, but she seems to be.
I don't know the exact word for it. Trying to care, but not really. It might be something like that, where it's something that she wants to keep secret. Because I.
I'm not entirely sure what their motives are or why she wouldn't tell them if she knew possible about.
[01:50:11] Speaker B: I do have a quick one. Quick question. Did you guys close the door behind you?
[01:50:16] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:50:17] Speaker A: Go do that real quick. Yep.
[01:50:21] Speaker B: And I rolled some secret perception checks.
Dumisa and Australia, you both hear movement out in sort of like, the main hallway.
[01:50:30] Speaker E: What kind of movement?
[01:50:33] Speaker B: One of them. Two of them sound like ghosts.
[01:50:39] Speaker D: Whoosh, whooshing.
[01:50:40] Speaker B: And the other one sounds like heavy armor.
[01:50:44] Speaker C: When? Yeah. As soon as I hear it, I just, like, put, like, a finger to my lips, that kind of thing, you know, just until the sound passed. And then we continue going, well, who hasn't fucked the one?
[01:50:59] Speaker D: I'm joking.
[01:51:01] Speaker C: But we're quiet for a bit until we hear it pass.
[01:51:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:51:06] Speaker E: So I think there's a possibility that as long as by my mother assume that we are ignorant, truth of the gods, they won't target us for familial. Reasons.
But it's probably also only a matter of time until Doan and Beziel blab. And the fact that they haven't could mean maybe that the gods are not closely close friends anymore. Maybe they hate each other. Maybe they will kill one another and save us all the trouble.
Maybe we can ruin their relationship even further and then destroy her.
[01:51:46] Speaker D: I think I already ruined my dad's only good relationship in his life.
[01:51:50] Speaker B: Good job.
[01:51:52] Speaker D: At what cost?
[01:51:54] Speaker G: More emotional trauma.
[01:51:56] Speaker C: Okay, well, now here's another question, just based on solely that, Merrill. Have you met any of the other gods?
[01:52:02] Speaker D: Aubrey? Have I?
[01:52:04] Speaker A: No.
[01:52:06] Speaker D: No.
[01:52:09] Speaker C: Yeah, that was going to be my next thing. Like, I don't know, it just doesn't seem like a normal thing to be. Like, here are my close friends and they will never meet my child. You know what I mean? So, I mean, I could. I'm way more on board now of them not liking each other.
[01:52:29] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[01:52:29] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:52:29] Speaker E: I think that bodes well for us because they probably don't. We hate their guts.
Well, I mean, they probably might know I hate their guts.
[01:52:37] Speaker C: Well, no, I. No, no. We know at least two of them at least talk. Because the sealed made it very apparent that.
[01:52:45] Speaker E: Yeah, when you showed.
[01:52:46] Speaker C: Yeah, when they show that they're like, oh, you don't want the one has a problem.
[01:52:49] Speaker A: So.
[01:52:49] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:52:50] Speaker C: Son and death get. Get along well.
[01:52:53] Speaker E: And if I recall. Oh, no, no, nevermind. I was gonna say that we ran into a goddess in the middle of the duan assassinations, but it was not. It was. It was before the sealed, but it was still in the middle of all the Duane assassinations. So that means he didn't tell her.
[01:53:14] Speaker C: Or he did, and she just did not care.
[01:53:17] Speaker E: I find that hard to believe, but it's possible. Oh, well, you know what? I care about anything I do.
[01:53:22] Speaker D: Hold on, hold on. If she would come in and beat the living crap out of her daughter just for some weird flex. I don't think she cares what a, like six foot twunk has to say, you know? I don't think she cares.
[01:53:35] Speaker E: If that's true, it would be the only thing I respect about her.
[01:53:39] Speaker C: Who knows? On. Honestly, who knows? But I can at least that woman's mind. Yes, but I can at least say that for sure. I know I met grandmama. This is weird to say out loud. Uh, before the crazy do and shit. And that was also before we were aware of our other godly situations. So that at least we have a.
[01:54:09] Speaker B: Timeline back when the your only, you know, trouble was finding a missing princess.
[01:54:15] Speaker C: God damn.
[01:54:16] Speaker E: There is simpler days.
[01:54:18] Speaker D: There is one more thing. It might be that she didn't tell them, not because she doesn't talk to them, but perhaps she's scared of what happens if she does. Not for your safety, but for her own. If she came forward and said, hey, I fucked the guy that everyone absolutely hates and despises in this group, and also had a kid, which is now a true God and a threat to our power, I don't think anyone would take that very well. It would be a threat more on her than anything. Do you think she's scared?
[01:54:46] Speaker E: Well, that raises. Do they know about Kyria?
[01:54:50] Speaker C: Oh, my God. I don't actually know.
[01:54:53] Speaker E: We have no, we know they know about other.
[01:54:56] Speaker C: They obviously. Obviously. Yeah, something like that. But they obviously know about at least some of them. Yeah.
[01:55:04] Speaker E: The existence of people like that.
[01:55:07] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:55:07] Speaker E: Through their own doing. I mean, having kids really nilly.
[01:55:11] Speaker C: Yeah. The sealed and souls actively have one kid together. That's Leia's. So there is that. There are some that are like that because, I mean, I just remember because I made them. I yelled at them in the war room, like, who. Who are you related to? And they were like, sure.
[01:55:29] Speaker E: And we can assume that at least one God per child is aware of child existing. So at least one person knows about Kyrie. It may not be just written.
It could be both.
[01:55:46] Speaker B: I would certainly hope that Dinpole knows about her.
[01:55:49] Speaker E: I don't know how gods work. I'm not gonna question it.
They can do what they like.
[01:55:56] Speaker D: Hold on. Wait. Big brain moment kind of for a second. Technically speaking, wouldn't the only gods that would 100% know about their children are ones where the mothers are the gods? Because if the mom was the fae, they could just hide the birth.
[01:56:13] Speaker C: Isn't that what happened to Lila?
[01:56:15] Speaker D: Yeah, go on. Might not even know that she exists.
[01:56:18] Speaker C: Yeah, Lila's like hidden baby.
I mean. Yes.
[01:56:21] Speaker D: Freaky baby Jill.
[01:56:23] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:56:23] Speaker C: Okay, that would also make sense. And. And then dimfall being scared for her own safety makes a lot more sense for my mom's love.
[01:56:39] Speaker B: Make the other gods sacrifice their children, not mine.
[01:56:44] Speaker E: Well, are we wrong?
[01:56:45] Speaker C: No.
[01:56:46] Speaker B: No, you're not wrong.
[01:56:48] Speaker D: Yeah.
There is also a chance that the reason that she contacted you, abused you, was a. To maybe see if she could get you on her side before you met your mother. Kind of like how I was on my father's side before. Uh hmm.
[01:57:06] Speaker C: Or to before you met me and I changed your life forever.
[01:57:13] Speaker D: Yeah. I hate that I have to say that. It is for the better, but no, it's okay.
[01:57:18] Speaker C: You guys change my life forever.
[01:57:21] Speaker D: For the better anyway.
[01:57:26] Speaker C: I'm sorry. I cannot. I'm sorry for the pause. I actively cannot say because, I mean, it's pretty good. Now, I'm not gonna lie, but boy. Boy, have I not said slept in the wild?
[01:57:39] Speaker D: Yeah, you need a break. But besides that, perhaps the second reason was she was trying to figure out where her daughter went and used you to try and lead her to there, but that one.
[01:57:50] Speaker C: Oh, well, that's a good point. Oh, that's a very good point.
[01:57:56] Speaker D: Yeah. I don't know where all these brain cells came from, actually. It's kind of scary.
[01:58:00] Speaker E: We are all still wearing our lovely anti scarf necklaces.
[01:58:05] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:58:05] Speaker D: I never did that.
[01:58:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:58:06] Speaker B: Unless you. Unless you found a reason to take it off.
[01:58:09] Speaker E: Absolutely not. That thing's on like a safety blanket. It's never going away. I would get. I would have a panic attack. Should I take that off?
We've had many ambushes.
[01:58:22] Speaker C: Well, shit.
Well, you've got me at the standard.
[01:58:30] Speaker A: Just.
[01:58:30] Speaker C: Just thinking about being a living tracking beacon.
Stop making Mirama.
[01:58:38] Speaker D: Either. Either way, this is a lot of speculation and knowledge, and we are doing it in quite literally their basement. And they do know we're here.
[01:58:46] Speaker E: Well, at least my mother does.
[01:58:48] Speaker D: But it's impossible. One of Sirshu's guards that we're fighting. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish them off before they went away, and I don't feel think it ran away to not go snitch.
[01:58:59] Speaker E: Well, if. Hang on. We might have, I don't know, an opportunity, but we might have a little bit of space because she did find me and then immediately leave again as she does. It's literally her best quality, leaving. And if they only tell her, then she'll probably be like, eh, just that daughter I hate and won't do anything about it, even if we are in the danger dungeon of Torfine.
[01:59:29] Speaker A: Danger dungeon?
[01:59:30] Speaker E: It would require her, like, the danger dungeon. It would require having to, like, actually return to her.
[01:59:39] Speaker C: I can't believe I'm agreeing with this, but, yeah, if she.
If she doesn't care that much enough, she might just be like, ah, they probably won't even.
[01:59:48] Speaker E: I mean, she came, so she probably.
[01:59:51] Speaker A: Doesn'T even have any faith that we.
[01:59:53] Speaker E: Can make it through.
[01:59:54] Speaker C: To be fair, there are a lot. Buffer.
[01:59:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:59:56] Speaker D: Look at this. Can I touch Davis's muscles?
[01:59:59] Speaker B: Let's poke the muscles at least three levels, buffer.
[02:00:03] Speaker D: Yeah, look at those muscles. Poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke.
[02:00:09] Speaker C: You're also a knight. Now, before you were just a criminal on a path to redemption, and now you are my knight. So technically, you're, like, way better.
[02:00:21] Speaker E: Also, your mother's night.
[02:00:23] Speaker C: Shut up. That's my mama. And that means you're my knight by default.
[02:00:26] Speaker E: I mean, you also. Knight. I'm a double knight. I'm a nighttime student.
[02:00:30] Speaker C: Exactly. Exactly.
[02:00:32] Speaker B: Who was also charged with protecting Estrella.
[02:00:35] Speaker C: Exactly. Exactly.
[02:00:38] Speaker E: I mean, yeah, no, I mean, you're. I mean, yes, it's still true.
[02:00:43] Speaker D: Either way, you do have a point. But I think we should still, as possible, moving forward.
Also, I don't know exactly how the undead army works, but it is an undead army. They might also be required to snitch to do on. And if they do, I feel like you would pass up an opportunity to kill me. It is possible that.
[02:01:02] Speaker C: See, that. That I am much more worried about, because we. We did that. It's undead shit. It was undead specific to Sao Shu, but I wouldn't put it past them to go just to cover all their bases.
[02:01:15] Speaker E: Yeah. So we don't have any.
Any proof, I suppose, that they talk anymore, but we also don't have any proof.
[02:01:26] Speaker A: They don't.
[02:01:26] Speaker E: It could just be an old agreement that's still standing and he's not actually part of anymore.
[02:01:32] Speaker C: Yeah, no, I feel like when it comes to that power, they'll probably just be like, okay, courageous aside, let's just fix this, and then we'll won't talk to each other for another 500 years, you know?
[02:01:43] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:01:43] Speaker E: It's what they deserve.
[02:01:46] Speaker D: I think we should keep going. Yeah.
[02:01:49] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah. Yeah. We had a good break.
[02:01:52] Speaker D: A good theoretical talking break.
[02:01:55] Speaker E: Open the door.
[02:01:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:01:57] Speaker A: You're all perception.
[02:01:59] Speaker E: How am I moving astray?
[02:02:01] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:02:01] Speaker C: I was like, that's a goal.
[02:02:02] Speaker D: Nurse.
[02:02:06] Speaker A: I think you both have.
[02:02:07] Speaker B: You both still technically have control. The other sheets.
[02:02:10] Speaker D: Oh, I must have clicked on you, then.
[02:02:12] Speaker C: I do not. I have rune sheet, though.
[02:02:15] Speaker A: Oh.
[02:02:15] Speaker E: I do still have Vestrea control, but I guess I had. I've never moved her before, so it surprised me.
[02:02:22] Speaker C: You're right. You have never moved before. Dun dun dun.
[02:02:25] Speaker D: Ouch. Thanks.
[02:02:27] Speaker E: Uh, that's gonna be a 30 from me.
[02:02:30] Speaker A: 30.
[02:02:33] Speaker B: Uh, anyone else rolling or. Just.
[02:02:36] Speaker A: Just do me.
Yeah.
[02:02:38] Speaker B: Uh, you currently do not hear anything outside the door.
[02:02:41] Speaker E: Okay, we are safe. For the meantime, we should be prepared to face two whooshes and a clank at any moment.
[02:02:51] Speaker C: Let's go.
[02:02:52] Speaker E: Okay, we did not repeat Marilyn's incident when we opened the door.
[02:02:56] Speaker C: Should we stealth?
[02:02:58] Speaker B: Yeah, stealth. Everyone roll stealth.
[02:03:03] Speaker E: I'm gonna use my second hero point.
[02:03:05] Speaker D: Didn't you already use that?
[02:03:07] Speaker E: We got two today.
[02:03:08] Speaker D: Didn't you usually use both of them? I swear.
[02:03:10] Speaker E: No, no, I thought about it, and I did not use it.
[02:03:13] Speaker G: Okay, I got a 36 again, groom.
[02:03:16] Speaker C: You better use yourself. Use your goddamn hero point.
[02:03:19] Speaker D: Oh, gosh.
[02:03:20] Speaker F: What do you mean? I'm doing fine.
[02:03:23] Speaker E: You also roll a one, cuz I rolled a one.
[02:03:25] Speaker F: No, I rolled it to respect.
[02:03:30] Speaker A: Hmm.
[02:03:31] Speaker E: I did get a 26 on the second roll.
[02:03:33] Speaker F: All right, because you asked so nicely, I will use. There you go.
I got a five. Is that better?
[02:03:44] Speaker D: It is technically better.
[02:03:50] Speaker B: And as you're stealthing out like there's an explicable bucket and groon just kicks it, and you hear clang, clang, clang, clang.
[02:04:00] Speaker E: I hope this isn't a premonition of groom kicking the bucket.
[02:04:04] Speaker C: Why.
[02:04:04] Speaker G: Why am I ha.
[02:04:05] Speaker C: Why am I having, like.
[02:04:07] Speaker G: Like, full on Lord of the Rings flashbacks here?
[02:04:10] Speaker E: Drop it down the well.
[02:04:12] Speaker B: And somewhere off to your right, back from the room you came. You hear people speaking in necro.
[02:04:19] Speaker D: Ah.
[02:04:20] Speaker A: Run. Run.
[02:04:22] Speaker D: Someone locked the door behind us.
[02:04:25] Speaker C: Oh, we don't need to worry about that anymore. It's a dead end.
We're just running down the hall, and I have. I'm not sure what's happening. I've lost control of my token, so just.
[02:04:37] Speaker F: Do me.
[02:04:37] Speaker A: I can't keep up.
[02:04:39] Speaker C: Oh, can I do that now?
[02:04:43] Speaker G: Ileana's just gonna scoop groot up.
[02:04:47] Speaker C: Never mind, Aubrey. I somehow got it back.
[02:04:49] Speaker E: Okay, there's a lot of. Lot of doors at the end of this hallway around the corner.
I'm gonna just listen to door number one and hope it's empty.
[02:04:57] Speaker C: I'm gonna listen to door number two.
[02:04:58] Speaker A: Okay, great.
[02:05:00] Speaker E: Whichever one's empty, we go in.
[02:05:02] Speaker D: It looks like the one at the end of the quarter loops over to the old room. It looks like. So let's not do that.
[02:05:07] Speaker A: 123.
[02:05:07] Speaker B: 23. Uh, okay. And Australia. What'd you get?
[02:05:12] Speaker D: Dirty.
[02:05:12] Speaker C: 30.
[02:05:13] Speaker B: Uh, you hear more people speaking in necro in that room and do me. You hear nothing.
[02:05:19] Speaker C: I I just come over. I just come over.
[02:05:25] Speaker D: Okay, let's go. Come in. Come in and close the door.
[02:05:29] Speaker B: It stares down.
[02:05:34] Speaker E: She wasn't moving.
[02:05:36] Speaker D: Okay, okay.
[02:05:36] Speaker A: It's okay.
[02:05:37] Speaker E: It's okay.
[02:05:37] Speaker D: We got it. We got it.
[02:05:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:05:38] Speaker E: Everyone just be shook. Hope they don't hear us.
[02:05:43] Speaker C: We just. We get on the other side, we close the door, and we just hold it, and we wait.
[02:05:49] Speaker B: You hear this? The whoosh whoosh and the clanky clank.
[02:05:54] Speaker E: I feel like we're, like, hiding in a closet in a horror movie waiting for them to open the door.
[02:05:59] Speaker C: And they don't. They don't. They totally don't. They don't. They don't. They don't. This quite literally is a normal fucking door. They don't.
[02:06:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:06:08] Speaker B: And eventually it sounds like they. They do pass you.
[02:06:12] Speaker A: Yes.
[02:06:13] Speaker D: Silent high fives all around. Fist bumps, nods of respect.
[02:06:17] Speaker G: Ileana is going to effectively hand green over to do.
[02:06:21] Speaker E: Missa will go back on my shoulder, give a pat, Pat, and then we will descend.
[02:06:29] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:06:29] Speaker B: You turn around 180 degrees, and you see steps down, and this sort of starts leading into sort of this long, sort of almost spiraling descent and eventually.
[02:06:44] Speaker G: Pushing the cat ahead.
[02:06:46] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:06:48] Speaker B: To do what for?
[02:06:51] Speaker G: Just scope it out a little.
[02:06:53] Speaker B: Okay.
Yeah, do that. And also, if you guys would like to see the map.
[02:07:01] Speaker A: Yay.
[02:07:03] Speaker D: Oh, wait, the full two map or.
[02:07:05] Speaker A: Full level two map?
[02:07:06] Speaker B: You guys are leaving the level, so I was gonna show it to you.
[02:07:10] Speaker F: Oh, we missed an altar.
[02:07:13] Speaker E: That's where the best.
[02:07:14] Speaker C: Good.
[02:07:15] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm. I don't think we missed anything that we really wanted to experience.
[02:07:22] Speaker F: That's where all the good magic items were.
[02:07:26] Speaker B: Why you did actually miss, like, a hidden passage. You, like, walked right past it in the, like, the room where all the wine casks were.
[02:07:33] Speaker E: Oh, really?
[02:07:34] Speaker A: Yeah, there's a trap.
[02:07:34] Speaker B: There was, like, a trapdoor under a bunch of the casks.
[02:07:37] Speaker E: Oh, I see it.
[02:07:38] Speaker C: I saw it. But I just assumed he was a part of it, you know? I mean.
[02:07:45] Speaker E: Yeah, like, a sin that me.
[02:07:48] Speaker D: Yeah, we dodged so much combat.
[02:07:50] Speaker E: I'm really proud of us.
[02:07:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I hate.
[02:07:52] Speaker D: I hate opening that door. Seeing the bone tornado immediately, that was so terrifying.
My heart lifted my throat.
[02:08:01] Speaker B: Like, I just been, like, moving it around the room as you guys did.
[02:08:04] Speaker A: It, and you just.
[02:08:04] Speaker B: It just happened to line up.
I was like, I gotta. I just gotta have them open the door and see the clacking skull swarm.
[02:08:14] Speaker E: It was a very good Scooby Doo moment.
[02:08:17] Speaker D: And the fact that my stealth is so high, I just got to close it.
[02:08:21] Speaker E: Yep.
[02:08:22] Speaker B: You're just like, what is that? No.
Um, sis, you. The cat comes back, just tells you.
[02:08:29] Speaker A: It just keeps going, going for a bit. Awesome.
[02:08:33] Speaker E: I guess we did pass up the shortcut, but that's okay. We got the haunt, and I think that's more important.
[02:08:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:08:40] Speaker B: And you eventually get down to what also appears to have may have been another wine cellar.
[02:08:47] Speaker A: This is a.
[02:08:49] Speaker B: For the most part, it's. All of the racks have been completely smashed, and on a far wall, there is a sort of a crude hole that leads out into darkness. You're guessing this you remember from Valens visions that this is the way into the underdark?
[02:09:08] Speaker C: Oh, we did. We did.
[02:09:10] Speaker E: Wanting to go in, or do we want to first?
I'm fine either way. I make sure we're at our best.
[02:09:20] Speaker B: Uh, you astrea, from what you shared with Valen, it's several hours, if not almost a day's, worth. It's actually not a day's, but, like, several hours down. There's still several more hours ahead of you once you enter.
[02:09:37] Speaker C: We still have quite a ways to go, so technically, that implies we're going to have to take another nap.
[02:09:45] Speaker D: I say we get some of the legwork out of the way because.
[02:09:48] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah, I have a bunch of spells, so I have.
[02:09:52] Speaker C: Yes. I I'm. I'm okay in the lower level stuff. The higher level stuff, not so much, but the lower level, yes. And all else fails. My cabin will keep us safe inside.
[02:10:03] Speaker E: As long as we are in pretty decent fighting shape. I think to go a little further.
[02:10:09] Speaker D: Dumisawa, can you carry me for 20 minutes so I can refocus?
[02:10:15] Speaker F: You can walk and refocus.
[02:10:17] Speaker D: Oh, it's fine.
[02:10:18] Speaker E: No, you're being scooped.
[02:10:19] Speaker D: You're scooped. You're scooped. It's too late.
[02:10:20] Speaker E: You're being created like a baby.
[02:10:23] Speaker F: Did we ever figure out if we had a lock for that cabin?
[02:10:27] Speaker A: Why?
[02:10:29] Speaker E: Because Estrella has some feet or something that would allow her to have bought a lock in advance, thoughtfully, even if she didn't necessarily have it in that moment.
[02:10:42] Speaker F: Yeah, because it. I don't know if you were privy, Aki, but it's just a cabin.
Like, it doesn't, like, magically prevent things from entering. You actually need a separate lock to lock the door.
[02:10:58] Speaker C: No, I was not a part of this conversation. I think you had it. I was not there.
[02:11:02] Speaker B: I don't remember this conversation.
[02:11:04] Speaker E: I do.
[02:11:05] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[02:11:06] Speaker E: I think we established that somebody, probably Australia, has a feat that has prepared, like, preparedness or something, so.
[02:11:12] Speaker A: I do.
[02:11:13] Speaker E: Yes.
[02:11:14] Speaker F: So you may want to take that gold for.
That's a perfect place for it, that you.
[02:11:21] Speaker E: You have, like, one silver. I don't know how much a lot costs. It can't be that much, right?
[02:11:27] Speaker D: I mean, it's one banana, Michael.
[02:11:30] Speaker B: How much does it cost? $10.
Go see a Star War.
[02:11:37] Speaker A: A Star War.
[02:11:39] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh.
[02:11:42] Speaker B: A Star wars.
[02:11:43] Speaker C: Yeah, no, it's funnier being called go see a Star War. I'm literally picturing, like. Like, fucking a star. Like how a child would draw with a sword.
[02:11:55] Speaker D: A Star at war, a whole little army of them. Is that technically canon? Because if all the dragons are in space and they are just warring up on the stars. Star wars real.
[02:12:08] Speaker E: We're gonna keep going.
[02:12:11] Speaker B: I'll say you travel for another few hours and then come to a suitable looking cave. You know, you probably have about maybe four more hours before you get to where you need to go. It is very winding, and the tunnels sort of loop back on themselves occasionally. Makes it a little bit hard to traverse.
[02:12:34] Speaker E: But we go 3 hours without encountering anything nasty.
[02:12:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:12:38] Speaker E: This is so peaceful.
[02:12:40] Speaker A: It is.
[02:12:40] Speaker B: And it's literally just like. It's just the quietest silence you've ever heard.
[02:12:47] Speaker F: It reminds me of my home before. Home.
[02:12:52] Speaker C: Well, now I have a. I have a question, just because I'm curious. How is Rosalie doing in all of this darkness?
[02:13:00] Speaker A: She, like, glows a little bit.
[02:13:02] Speaker B: Oh, she glows softly.
[02:13:05] Speaker D: Cute.
[02:13:05] Speaker B: Like, the crystals glow and they emit, like, a soft pink light. She is her own nightlight.
[02:13:11] Speaker C: Oh, it's really cute, actually. The baby clothes.
Oh, but I am carrying her the whole time.
My God, is this darkness? And if she's a nightlight and my baby.
[02:13:24] Speaker B: Yeah, this is just like the deep caves where there's just no light other than I've.
[02:13:30] Speaker E: I guess we're digging out our torches from our. We have adventurer packs. You also have.
[02:13:36] Speaker C: We have ever burning torches. Yeah, and they stay up, I'm pretty sure.
[02:13:40] Speaker B: So they stay lit forever.
[02:13:42] Speaker C: Yeah. So just light them bitches up.
[02:13:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:13:45] Speaker F: We also groomed. Has her, uh, has her dress. So she can always change and the light can trip.
[02:13:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I think dark vision so does.
[02:13:58] Speaker C: I think we're plenty fine with. With. In terms of vision and light.
[02:14:02] Speaker A: For.
[02:14:03] Speaker C: For now, at least. I also have a spell that just lets me, like, blast a giant ray of light. Um, so, like, if we really need it, I can do it in a 60 to 120 foot line.
[02:14:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:14:16] Speaker C: Of just light.
[02:14:18] Speaker B: So you swapped out that halo feet, right?
[02:14:21] Speaker C: I did, yes.
[02:14:23] Speaker B: Yeah. I wanted to make sure because I was about to be like, this would be a perfect moment.
[02:14:26] Speaker C: This would have been a perfect moment, but unfortunately, I wanted gnome clothes.
[02:14:33] Speaker B: That's fair.
[02:14:35] Speaker D: It's okay. Even without a feeling, you're the light of my life, Duke. History.
[02:14:39] Speaker E: Aw.
[02:14:40] Speaker C: Oh, that's nice. Thank you.
[02:14:43] Speaker B: Yes. I believe that is probably a pretty good place for you all to settle down and for us to end it.
[02:14:51] Speaker A: And next time, it's time to save a God.
[02:14:58] Speaker D: Oh, shit.
[02:14:58] Speaker C: Wow.
Okay, then. Then as a question for that, could we have set up cozy cabin, then. So that way we can start the next one, quote unquote fully charged.
[02:15:09] Speaker B: Yeah, you can start the next one completely rested, and we can start next week with any scenes that people want to have before you go save a God.
[02:15:20] Speaker D: Important question. How long has Dumisa carrying me down this road? Did she just drop me after 20 minutes? How long can I get away with this?
[02:15:28] Speaker E: Well, let's see. I got great on a shoulder and marrow in my arms.
I'm pretty sure I have the ability to carry, like, a lot of bulk as a buff.
[02:15:41] Speaker D: I didn't mean, like mechanically. I meant, like, when does the music get fed up and drop them?
[02:15:45] Speaker E: No, no, I know. I don't think there's any mechanically to.
[02:15:48] Speaker D: Cause me to drop you.
[02:15:50] Speaker E: So basically, it's as long as there's not any suspicious sounds, you do just get carried.
[02:15:56] Speaker B: And if there's suspicious sounds, you just get yeeted.
[02:15:59] Speaker E: And then you get yeeted toward the sound. No, you get yeeted off the sound prone.
[02:16:05] Speaker C: Gotta spend your first action to get up or speed. Monk, scoot.
[02:16:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:16:12] Speaker E: If there's a sound, you get, like, tossed over her shoulder away from it.
[02:16:16] Speaker D: No, please.
[02:16:17] Speaker E: Is this a danger? Put marrow in the opposite direction.
[02:16:21] Speaker D: They wouldn't get carried the whole time, but they would see, like, for half an hour and be okay. I'm good. I got legs. I want to run. I want to break free.
[02:16:30] Speaker F: You know, you could probably speed. Monk, scoot. Faster than groom can run.
[02:16:38] Speaker D: That's so sad.
[02:16:39] Speaker F: You got what it was 45ft, right?
[02:16:42] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:16:43] Speaker F: So almost as fast. Like two and a half feet slower.
[02:16:47] Speaker B: But yes, we will deal with all this stuff next week. I look forward to it. It's gonna probably be a bit of a long one.
[02:16:57] Speaker D: Oh, boy. Boxing Day game.
[02:16:59] Speaker F: I can't remember how to long rest.
[02:17:04] Speaker A: Oh, wait, yes, I do.
[02:17:07] Speaker D: Should I take us out?
[02:17:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:17:11] Speaker D: All right, snaps. Everyone's next. Goodbye, everyone.
I was a sleeper agent the whole time. I'm kidding.
