[00:00:51] Speaker A: Hold my hand let me stare by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me demon tells Rome in this red light it calls me he is reaching out consuming. [00:01:28] Speaker B: Hi, everybody, and welcome back to Tyrant of the dark star. I'm aubrey, your gM, and I will introduce myself players, who they are, who they're playing, and then we'll get rolling into things. [00:01:41] Speaker C: Hi, my name is Aki. Pronouns are she, her, and I am playing gravewing, who is our monk, Kinesis. That's it. That's all you get to know about her. Oh, also uses she her pronouns. [00:01:58] Speaker D: Hi, y'all, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them, and I play Laitha driesee, our dampier, dandy, and rogue, who uses she any pronouns? [00:02:11] Speaker E: It's me. Hello, I'm dusty. I use they he pronouns, and I am playing Eurydo, just Eurydo for now. They also use they he pronouns, and they are going to be our bloodhunter. [00:02:26] Speaker A: Hello, I am firx. I use she her pronouns. And I am playing aloet Valer, the nephilim, I think is what they're called now, thaumaturge, who also uses she her pronouns. [00:02:40] Speaker F: Hello, I am Sparlock. I use he him pronouns. I am playing Alistair Whiskerfield, the renowned wizard and investigator, who uses he him pronouns also. [00:02:55] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Tik. I use he she pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall, a wonderful flesh warp sorcerer who is definitely not a cannibal at all. Why do you even think that? [00:03:07] Speaker B: And before we jump into what happened last time, we're going to do another RP question. This one brought by Ferris in our server chat. And the question is, if your character was represented by a flower, what would it be? Would there be any other symbolism? And, Ferris, you could start us off. [00:03:31] Speaker A: Okay. Rude, but awesome. Cool. Awesome, awesome, cool. Yeah. So I went with the magnolia because they represent nobility and perseverance and sweetness. But, like, also sunflowers, because, I mean, look at them. [00:03:56] Speaker B: They're so Lou. [00:03:57] Speaker A: I think they also mean, like, happiness and energy and, like, good fortune or something like that. I don't know about the good fortune part, but the rest of it, loyalty. I think some flowers are also loyalty. Anyway, that's her flowers. Take it away, Dusty. I'm popcorning this. [00:04:19] Speaker E: I was wondering how we were going to do it. So, to answer this, I just googled blood flower when we were first talking about this. And guess what? The blood flower, otherwise known as the mexican butterfly weed or something like that, I forgot. It has actually a bunch of different names, but one, it's bright red and orange. Um, also, it's a slightly poisonous flower, but also it's extremely poisonous for monarch butterflies. Specifically monarch butterflies on monarch. [00:05:07] Speaker G: Maybe you should emphasize it one more time for the class. [00:05:10] Speaker E: No, it's your turn, tick. [00:05:12] Speaker B: Fuck. [00:05:13] Speaker G: Well, I picked dandelion. I picked dandelions. I didn't read any of the symbolic stuff. Apparently, they're a symbol of, like, hope healing. And it starts with an r, and it's, like, resilience. Resilient. And I'm like, oh, that's cool. But they're edible. It's the big thing. They're very common. They're very edible. You can eat a lot of them. They're very nutritious. They're very abundant, and they're very durable. They do not like to die. You have to drench them in poison to get them to die. And they just keep on living no matter how much you try to do. And honestly, I think that's pretty fitting. I'm gonna be honest. Like, he's stubborn. He's not going away anytime soon. And also cooks real good and eats and food. Yeah. You know, also, they're pretty. They're pretty cute. You know, also, they have about 13 mouths on them each. Anyways, I'm gonna pass this off to you, Sparlock. [00:06:07] Speaker F: Okay. I had to look up a whole bunch of flowers. Um, and the one that is calling to me most seems to be the shamrock, because a good luck. Uh, always good. Makes sense for, um, like, more nimble characters. Uh, light heartedness. And the thing that made me go, ooh, that one, because I'm amused. Protection from snakes. [00:06:43] Speaker C: Flowers for graveling. A woman who's never received flowers in her entire life, it would be morning glories. They have a lot of symbolism because they come in, like, a lot of different colors. But I specifically like it for the inspiration of hope during harsh times, as well as strength of spirit. It's strength of human spirit and specifically resilience. Please think of the indomitable human spirit trends that's going on, because I fucking love those trends. It pulls out some banger art, but that's the vibe. Morning glories, they also attract moths because they're full of nectar. If you don't know morning glories, they come in a lot of different colors. They're also famous for dying the same day they bloom. So that's where the resilience comes from. Mothmom could also be a moonflower, which is known as, like, also known as a white morning glory. Those are the ones that bloom at night, specifically. And they have that air of mystery and shit like that as well. Moonflowers are also attractive to moths. Um, the flowers are also attracted, uh, to other creatures. But I'm not gonna say any of that because that's technically spoilers. And this is the biggest hint you'll get besides being in the fucking, uh, goblets and gays community server where I dropped a song and said, hey, it's that. And it actually says what the animal name is. So that's. That's all you got? [00:08:34] Speaker D: Yeah. Laithe would be a foxglove, which in flower language, allegedly represents wits and secrecy and insincerity. They are tall and pretty and according to poison.org, comma, toxic to the heart. [00:08:55] Speaker F: Fair. [00:08:58] Speaker B: Well, that is interesting things to think about. I'm glad for bringing these back. Got some fun ideas, and Ferris keeps dropping some really good ones in the chat. [00:09:10] Speaker A: I have ulterior motives. Thank you for answering my questions. [00:09:16] Speaker B: So this is the part where I ask what happened last time? [00:09:19] Speaker G: Oh, I love this part. Twirls my hair in a really sexy manner. I did absolutely nothing last time. We generally got into the manor and there was a massive alchemical golem. Yes, yes, the alchemical golem. Um, alouette did something quirky, as in running directly into, like, combat range and getting stabbed several times. That was pretty quirky of you. Alouette. [00:09:41] Speaker A: Um. [00:09:41] Speaker B: What the fuck? [00:09:42] Speaker G: Graveling, who actually. This model is actually insane. Uh, graveling was actually doing the hitty hit hit. Uh, laith and, um, Yuri were both pretty good. I'm pretty sure Alistair just schemed in the background, was not having the best time scheming, but got, like, one scheme off, which, honestly, I'm proud of him for that. Good job. But we downed the alchemical golem with a massive swing of a fist. I believe we fisted it to death, dare I say? And I got to do basically now. [00:10:12] Speaker C: I need it to death. Please get that corrected. [00:10:15] Speaker G: You need it to death. Okay. [00:10:18] Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys, anyways, standing in the foyer of Talus's mansion, having just taken down the golem. Everybody give me a quick perception check. [00:10:46] Speaker A: I pre rolled my dice to choose which ones I wanted to use today. That was clearly. They were all liars. They're all filthy liars. [00:11:00] Speaker D: I also pre wrote and used up all my luck, apparently, for the dice that I just used. [00:11:07] Speaker F: I got 14, I got a 24. And I'd actually like to take a minute to investigate the golem and see if I like. With an eye towards figuring out his maker. [00:11:22] Speaker B: Yeah, you can in just a minute. This sort of see if you notice anything else going on in the house. [00:11:28] Speaker A: I got a nine. [00:11:30] Speaker B: A nine. [00:11:30] Speaker D: Oh, I got a ten. [00:11:32] Speaker A: Oh, twinsies. Aw. Are we too busy staring at each other and trying not to stare at each other? Like, oh, that was kind of cool. I mean, what? [00:11:43] Speaker B: Anyone who got above a 17, you hear distinctly mechanical sounds coming from somewhere else in the house, but you can't pick out wherever. [00:12:00] Speaker E: Uh, I would like, raise my hand up, just like, we're not alone, I think. Or is there something else here? Just be careful about walking. It's probably traps or something. [00:12:20] Speaker B: Yeah. And if you do want to inspect the golem, I need a craft roll. [00:12:26] Speaker F: And I guess I get to use the pursue the lead bonus on that. [00:12:31] Speaker B: Yes. [00:12:32] Speaker F: Since that is. I have to investigating a designated subject. Crafting. Why is it clicking the wrong buttons? There we go. As 23. [00:12:53] Speaker B: So, yeah, you are able to. There is a maker's mark on this, and it is of the holy blood. [00:13:09] Speaker F: I recognize this. Holy blood. Maker's mark. Do you see? Do you see? Very interesting. [00:13:17] Speaker D: As far as we know, Talus was a professor at the university, but not involved in the holy blood, right? [00:13:27] Speaker B: I think you rolled high enough to know that he used to work for the holy blood before going to teach at Ravenswood. [00:13:36] Speaker D: Okay, cool. [00:13:37] Speaker B: He's the one that developed a lot of their serums and things they use. [00:13:45] Speaker G: I could use object reading to see if I could learn a bit more about this machine. [00:13:53] Speaker C: What do you, uh. What do you mean by object reading? [00:14:00] Speaker A: Oh, like, you did this with the key. With the key? [00:14:04] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:14:06] Speaker A: In the prison set. [00:14:08] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:14:09] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I don't know if you guys remember, I had a bag over my head for most of that. I did not. I did not see any of this. Well, it's magic, right? [00:14:22] Speaker G: It's a spell that lets me see important events from checks my little notes about a month ish ago. So if anything was built in terms of the month or there's any important interaction, I can glean that from this spell. [00:14:36] Speaker C: That's pretty dope. All right, go. Go do that. [00:14:44] Speaker G: Slap my hand on it. Give me the lore. [00:14:46] Speaker B: Mm hmm, mm hmm. Uh, the only thing you. The thing is, um, the golem really isn't in a. In a emotional creature there, you only pick up one thing, and it's a voice saying, kill anything that's not me that comes in here. [00:15:19] Speaker G: Okay, I'll relay that information. That wasn't much in the past week. But someone gave this orders to kill everyone who doesn't come in here, which is kind of a given. But do I recognize the voice at all or. No, I don't know whose voice it is, so it's no one that I've met before. [00:15:39] Speaker F: Can you imitate them? Maybe I've heard him before. [00:15:43] Speaker G: I can. [00:15:43] Speaker B: I can try a performance role. [00:15:47] Speaker G: Okay, let me try. [00:15:48] Speaker A: I guess. [00:15:53] Speaker G: What is my performance? It's not gonna be that high. [00:15:56] Speaker E: What? [00:15:57] Speaker G: Why am I. Why is my performance high? I forgot anyways. I forgot I trained performance, and I'm also charismatic. That is a dirty 20. [00:16:10] Speaker B: You can kinda do it. [00:16:12] Speaker A: All right. [00:16:12] Speaker B: But the thing is, you only heard it for a second, so it's really hard to relay that if you've only heard it for a second. [00:16:19] Speaker G: I'll just repeat the exact words then, because I can't make up new ones, but I can be. It's easier to pair what something is, like, improvise. So parrot at the best I can, whoever they are. [00:16:29] Speaker F: Sounds kind of stuffy. [00:16:34] Speaker C: That is majority of the holy blood. They are. They suck at talking, and they are boring people. [00:16:43] Speaker A: Aubrey, I have a question. Yes, I know all of us were picked up by Elias Gore, but not all of us are aware of that. Have we seen Gore since we went to prison? [00:16:56] Speaker B: No. [00:16:57] Speaker A: Okay. [00:16:59] Speaker C: He hasn't even given me a visit. [00:17:01] Speaker B: Nope. [00:17:02] Speaker C: Damn. What a cheeky bitch. [00:17:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Uh, also, uh, Alouette. You're still sickened. [00:17:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I know. [00:17:10] Speaker B: Do you just want to, like, go off the corner and deal with that? [00:17:15] Speaker A: Has been. She has been in the corner just quietly retching. [00:17:20] Speaker C: You have to roll for that. [00:17:21] Speaker A: I know. Just give me. [00:17:23] Speaker B: Give me a quick fortitude. [00:17:24] Speaker G: Was my breakfast that bad? Damn. [00:17:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:17:27] Speaker G: Helloette. [00:17:29] Speaker C: Nah, the bitch bust sickened. [00:17:30] Speaker E: It's midnight. [00:17:32] Speaker B: Yeah, it's midnight. [00:17:33] Speaker G: Oh. [00:17:33] Speaker B: All right. [00:17:34] Speaker G: Was my dinner that bad? [00:17:38] Speaker A: That's a fort. [00:17:39] Speaker B: Safe fort save. Yeah. [00:17:41] Speaker A: 17. [00:17:43] Speaker B: Yeah. You're able to pack up whatever remains of this noxious poison that was in your system. [00:17:54] Speaker A: I almost said something really gross, but I'm not gonna do that. The wrong animal, anyway. [00:18:00] Speaker B: Air ball. [00:18:03] Speaker A: I was gonna say owl pellet, but that's the wrong thing. [00:18:06] Speaker E: That's the wrong direction. [00:18:09] Speaker C: That's a big one, too. [00:18:11] Speaker E: Um, I think, clearly, you were dancing over, like, you feeling better or. [00:18:19] Speaker A: Yes. I just sort of got stabbed by a full something, and it wasn't exactly agreeing with me, but it is cool. We're fine now. Apologies for starting the fight. I did not consider the fact that it had not started when I started it, but I am a little bit reassured to find out that it was gonna kill us anyway, but, whoops, he. [00:18:49] Speaker E: Was gonna fight us. [00:18:50] Speaker A: Did not know that at the time. [00:18:53] Speaker E: I. You're just gonna, like, pat your shoulders and just look like you were better for wear, which is good. Still got a little bump. Gonna, like, point, like, tap your head for a second. Just a little. We should. Sorry, what? Just keep your eyes out. I know you knew, but. [00:19:18] Speaker A: Actually, I had a question for all of us. I just gotta wander back towards the group. I know that we are here for something involving chohring gul fever, which does seem like a good thing, but should we perhaps wonder at the motives of the person who told us to do it? Because he is a cult leader, but also allegedly has followed from grace and he asks random cellmates to seek out a cure for ghoul fever? What exactly do we think we might be paving a way for for them to do? [00:20:05] Speaker C: Well, it was already on my list, so maybe random for you continuing where I left off. For me. [00:20:16] Speaker G: Honestly, we can't. [00:20:18] Speaker A: Future problem. And we are helping someone who shouldn't be out. [00:20:25] Speaker F: Who would be hurt by, like. Maybe they're vampires. They need more people to eat. So if we cool the ghoul fever, but then we could just hunt the vampires, I don't think there'll be an issue. [00:20:44] Speaker A: I feel like it's more about this making it easier for them to do whatever it is they're trying to do. [00:20:52] Speaker F: Yeah, but then there won't be ghouls. [00:20:56] Speaker A: No, that is true. And that is a good thing. I just thought perhaps we should consider the repercussions. [00:21:05] Speaker E: I'm sure if there's something more nefarious than this, then we could find them in here. [00:21:14] Speaker C: Even then. Even then. You're not the one dealing with ghoul fever on a regular basis, girly. [00:21:21] Speaker A: I did not say it was a bad thing to do. I just think that it is. [00:21:25] Speaker C: No, I understand the thinking of repercussions and whatever. Whatever. But when you're dealing with a lesser of two evils, you pick the lesser of two evils. [00:21:36] Speaker A: I just. Are we sure it is the lesser? [00:21:40] Speaker C: Well, right now, I'm pretty sure it is. And right now, I'm pretty sure you've never been in a room with somebody who is that sicken. [00:21:48] Speaker F: Do you think the ghouls are all fascists and we stopped a fascist uprising by unleashing ghouls? I don't. [00:22:01] Speaker A: No, I just. [00:22:02] Speaker F: You know, usually I'm all for the grand conspiracy, but I don't see this one. [00:22:07] Speaker A: I just know that the brochin have a questionable reputation and no one really knows what it is they're trying to do. And if it is a bad thing, this might increase the speed of them doing it. That is all. [00:22:28] Speaker C: Well then, what would you like to do about that? [00:22:33] Speaker A: I just wanted to mention it. [00:22:35] Speaker C: And what did mentioning get you? [00:22:37] Speaker A: Clearly nothing. Good. [00:22:40] Speaker C: You're learning. [00:22:42] Speaker D: Laithe, who usually has a lot to say about the unbroken, is conspicuously not engaging in this conversation, and instead just sort of crouched down, poking at the golem. [00:22:55] Speaker E: Alright, well, why don't we start looking through this? Do we want to split up golem groups? Do you think it's better to go altogether in case there's another waves at the thing that Leith is poking? [00:23:10] Speaker D: I mean, if Alistair and I are in different groups, we'll probably be able to notice anything abyss. [00:23:22] Speaker E: Okay. We find splitting up. [00:23:26] Speaker C: Hmm. You know, that might be the best thing to do for now. [00:23:32] Speaker G: If I'm going to be honest, I'd like to travel with this literal superhero that could kick anyone's ass in a 15 miles radius. [00:23:39] Speaker D: Great. So Niall and Greg, Wayn, you're with me, and Alistair can take the cousins. [00:23:48] Speaker C: Wow. I'm being picked first in the playground. That's pretty wild. [00:23:53] Speaker B: Well, before you make too many more choices, let me give you an overview of what your options look like. [00:23:58] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:23:58] Speaker B: So you can see on the map you've got a set of stairs that lead up. There's a door that's slightly ajar and it leads into sort of a wide open room. You can't really see much of it because door is only a drawer. There are the stairs up, there are doors off to the. There are two doors off to the left, two doors off to the right, and the door that you came in. [00:24:30] Speaker A: Can we peek through the ajar door? [00:24:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:24:36] Speaker A: Cause there's three doors total, not counting the exit. [00:24:39] Speaker B: There are five doors total. [00:24:41] Speaker A: Oh, geez. There are two doors on either side. [00:24:42] Speaker B: Two doors on the left, two doors on the right, the stairs up, and the door in front of you, that's like six if you're counting the door that leads out. [00:24:52] Speaker A: Who needs the exit door? [00:24:53] Speaker F: There's a big room. [00:24:55] Speaker B: Yes. This is sort of like a large octagonal shaped room. You see two fireplaces, one on each side. And there are what appears to be. This was like a manor house, so there were chairs up on a bit of a dais for the Lord and lady to receive guests and things like that. People coming with, because usually people who lived here before Helena took over for senator were probably senator. So they would receive people in and the people would grievances. You know, I need XYZ. We're working on XYZ projects, you know, things like that. So yeah, it is this large room and if anybody wants to take a look around the room and see what you notice, give me a perception check. Oh, and on the other side of the room there are another two sets of stairs up and then there's a set of stairs down. [00:26:05] Speaker D: I get a 25 for the room. And I think that as we're starting to look around, Alaith says it might actually be better to stick together. Mansion like this, who knows where you'd end up. [00:26:19] Speaker G: At least you're checking for traps, right? [00:26:27] Speaker D: Yeah, with a, uh, whatever I said 26. [00:26:30] Speaker B: 25. 25. [00:26:31] Speaker F: Yeah, I got a natural one. [00:26:34] Speaker C: Oh, boy. [00:26:35] Speaker F: For 915, I got ten. [00:26:43] Speaker E: I'm not looking. [00:26:44] Speaker C: I got a 16. [00:26:46] Speaker B: Yippee laith. As you sort of walk into this room and like take a look around, you don't see any traps, but you do see something glimmering in the fireplace on the left. [00:27:00] Speaker D: I'm just gonna make my way. Can I move with wastey now? I would like to make my way up over to the fireplace and check it out a little closer. [00:27:10] Speaker B: As you approach the fireplace, it clearly it wasn't recent, but someone has burned a fire in one, at least in this, in both of these and sometime in the last like month. And sort of as you sort of like maybe jet like grab a poker poke at some stuff, you notice it's actually a little large. The thing that it is, it's hard to tell what it is because it seems to be in a leather case that has seen better days. But you can get a hint of metal from underneath the leather case. And the leather case itself is like 4ft long. [00:27:49] Speaker G: Ish. [00:27:50] Speaker B: Maybe 5ft. It's rather long because these fireplaces are like 10ft long. These things are massive yurto. [00:27:59] Speaker D: You like playing with fire, don't you? I think I found something. [00:28:06] Speaker E: Yes. Clearly my favorite thing is playing with fire. Okay, sure. I will go look at whatever leif wants me to go look suspiciously. [00:28:18] Speaker B: You do see the long metal object? Sort of. It's not fully pulled out from these ashes and it's kind of hidden by whatever this leather case is. [00:28:33] Speaker E: I will pick it up. I'm gonna start to cover my hand, make sure it's not hot, even though it doesn't look like it would be. Look at this is not a funny prank, right? Is that going to explode? [00:28:50] Speaker D: Didn't want ash on my hands. [00:28:54] Speaker E: Oh, I understand. I'll pick it up. Yeah, yeah, I'll pick it up. [00:29:02] Speaker B: Yeah. As you do. You feel kind of the on the end that it seems most likely. It feels like the handle of possibly a weapon. [00:29:15] Speaker E: I will pick it up. Very annoyingly. Dust off the ash right into the air next to lathe. Like, padded. So the ash kind of like, offs up and will take the handle and take it out. This is what it is. [00:29:34] Speaker B: Yeah. As you do, you pull out this weapon that appears to be something. A combination of a short spear and a longsword. Kind of. Imagine Ed has the haft of a short spear, but the blade of a long sword. It is a specific kind of blade that's native to a different part of noxlight called a saront. [00:30:03] Speaker E: Yeah. I was like, this is. It's different parts. That means not this area that we're in. [00:30:12] Speaker B: Yeah, correct. Okay. It's native to, like, this blade is used. And the blade can actually be used three different ways. It can be used as a one handed weapon, it can be used as a two handed weapon, or it can be used as a reach weapon. [00:30:33] Speaker E: Uh, yeah, I think yurida takes it out and kind of does, like, the twirl. Like, getting any ash off of it. It's like, this is a surrender. It's not. No one around here uses these. Looks to be pretty okay shape. [00:30:55] Speaker C: You know how to use one of those? [00:30:59] Speaker E: Um, I've only used one once or twice, but I know to use a sword. I know to use a spear. [00:31:03] Speaker A: So. [00:31:08] Speaker C: Then you carry it. It's no good. Just wait in here anyways. [00:31:19] Speaker B: Yeah. And it is a, um. It is a homebrew item that I created. So I will get you the actual stats. So essentially is uses a one handed weapon. It is a d eight. A two handed weapon. It is a d ten, and it is a d eight. If you use the reach weapon, but you will take the clumsy trait. So there will be a minus one to hit, but it becomes a five foot reach weapon. [00:31:45] Speaker E: Oh, yeah. Nice. [00:31:48] Speaker B: And the metal itself is gleaming in a way that you've never seen before. If anybody wants, they can make a crafting check on, like, whatever this thing is made of. [00:32:02] Speaker G: Yeah, I can try. I'm just chilling just to check. This is not a food, correct? No, I gotcha. [00:32:13] Speaker C: This is chocolate moth. Mom's gonna shake her head and be like, I can't believe this shit's making me miss a nerd. [00:32:24] Speaker F: I'm just completely oblivious. Like, I'm convinced that there's something about these chairs over here, and there's some sort of secret switch that will open up the. The rich people's arsenal. I'm, like, combing over it. [00:32:44] Speaker G: I got a 27 on my crafting check, apparently. [00:32:48] Speaker A: 27. [00:32:49] Speaker E: I got 18, so it's one of me. [00:32:50] Speaker B: 18. You both can tell this. It wasn't incredibly high. DC there is a specific kind of metal that comes from. Where is it? There we go. There is a metal that comes from the kingdom of Aksir. There is a. There's a city there that is built in the remains of a metal God is the best way to put it. No one really knows what or how it got here, but it's this giant metal being that's half just rotted away, half buried into the ground that a city has been built around. It's called Titans grave. And specifically, the metal that the Sarant is made out of is Titan steel. [00:34:02] Speaker E: Yeah, I think I. The way I'm, like, holding it, like, Yurido would do the thing where they balance the blade on one hand and put it closer to their eyes like this. This is not just not from around here. This is really not from around here. This is from Titan's grave. [00:34:23] Speaker G: Oh, yeah. It's Titan steel, isn't it? I've been thinking about getting a frying pan with that material. [00:34:30] Speaker B: Um, seems like a waste. [00:34:31] Speaker E: What? Why? Was someone trying to burn it or get rid of it? [00:34:39] Speaker D: Maybe not burn as much as hide. You're welcome, by the way. Here it is. [00:34:45] Speaker E: I said thank you. I didn't, but thank you, I guess. [00:34:51] Speaker G: Is there some tension in the air? [00:34:53] Speaker B: No, I don't know what you're talking about. [00:34:55] Speaker C: The tension's been here. We just. We were uninvited to it. [00:34:59] Speaker G: Oh, I see. Okay, I'm gonna come back to you, graveling. I don't go back to. I'm gonna hint. I say this out loud. Oh, there's tension. I'm gonna go back to grapeling and just be like, what's the tension from? Is it because late are, like, ex lovers or something? [00:35:15] Speaker C: I don't know. I just feel like there's some sort of interlock fucking going on and I'm not a part of that, and I don't want to be a part of that. Um, rich people, am I right? Yeah. Oh, no, man. Only good in books. Only good in books. [00:35:33] Speaker E: Yurida is gonna roll their eyes. Uh, sheath the weapon and, like, put the leather guard, like, on around their back or whatever, however it fits. Um, well, nath, you said we should stick together. Where do you think should go next? [00:35:57] Speaker D: You want to just keep moving forward? Then we can come back upstairs, make the rounds. [00:36:07] Speaker E: I'm gonna look at everyone else. That sounds good. [00:36:11] Speaker G: Yes, that sounds good to me. [00:36:14] Speaker F: Yeah. I can't find the sw. Wait, where did you get that weapon from? [00:36:20] Speaker E: Fireplace. I'll tell you about it later. We. I think we should keep going. [00:36:27] Speaker B: So which way are we. Which way are we going? [00:36:30] Speaker E: Up the stairs or through the door? At the same level. [00:36:35] Speaker D: The doors behind the chairs that Alistair was inspecting, or rather the staircases behind. There is door behind chairs that Alistair was inspecting. [00:36:47] Speaker B: Is that. There is not. It's actually on the other side of the map. It's just the way the map is drawn is a little weird. You can go up the stairs. [00:36:55] Speaker D: Okay, let's go up the stairs then. [00:36:57] Speaker B: All right, let me move everybody to the next map then. [00:37:00] Speaker F: I must have done that. I thought it was gonna open up on the curtain. I must have found the switch. Yay. [00:37:08] Speaker B: No, the stairs. The. There are no stairs down. [00:37:13] Speaker F: I'm just playing up that terrible perception check. Oh, my goodness. I have no idea what's going on. [00:37:19] Speaker B: Also, at some point, does anyone want to do medicine on Alouette? [00:37:25] Speaker C: Oh, shit. [00:37:25] Speaker G: Someone should take care of Alouette. [00:37:27] Speaker C: No, I just. Can't you just throw it up? [00:37:31] Speaker B: No, because Lol took a ton of damage. [00:37:33] Speaker A: Yeah. She had 14 hit points. [00:37:35] Speaker B: I know. [00:37:35] Speaker E: Is that the case, then? Yeah, I would have. [00:37:37] Speaker A: I think she's actually probably. Because I can do it to myself, right? [00:37:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:37:41] Speaker A: Yeah, probably. While everyone was looking at the Sauron, she's sitting there, like, trying to do a little medicine check. Well, nobody notices, like, purposely trying to hide it. [00:37:48] Speaker B: Give me a medicine check. [00:37:49] Speaker F: Then I mentioned yesterday that I was literally sitting over Alouette with a magic potion as we ended combat, so I definitely would have used that. [00:38:00] Speaker B: Okay, what's the. What was the potion? [00:38:04] Speaker F: The healing. The lesser healing that we had. [00:38:07] Speaker B: The lesser. So it's. I mean, you can drink that and. [00:38:12] Speaker A: Well, I got a 25 25, which. [00:38:15] Speaker B: Is a critical success. [00:38:18] Speaker A: Yeah. So I'm gonna see what that does. [00:38:20] Speaker B: First, and then we can use the healing potion. Necessary. [00:38:25] Speaker A: I'd rather save those if we don't need it. [00:38:27] Speaker F: So it's 48 just in character. Like, I pulled it out in combat and was about to hit you with it, so I definitely would have used that, like, the second we got in. [00:38:40] Speaker A: Yeah, I think she would have taken it from you and then been like, okay, I'll do this in a minute. And she's gonna try to save the usage of it, if possible. How do you. How do you. Oh, wait, I found it. Hold on. [00:38:53] Speaker B: Yep. It is, I believe, 48. [00:38:59] Speaker A: Treat boons is the button I was looking for. And I got a critical success. I guess I have 40 816. That's gonna be almost all my hit points, so I should be all right. [00:39:15] Speaker B: Yeah. And this. These stairs take you up to sort of a small landing. There is a door directly behind you. You do see two doors ahead of you, and then there is a passageway off to your left. [00:39:40] Speaker F: Is anyone else stuck on the previous map? [00:39:43] Speaker G: Yep, I think we're also on the previous map. [00:39:45] Speaker B: I forgot to hit the active button because I was dropping everyone's tokens then. I wanted to figure out those few things before. Yeah. [00:39:55] Speaker A: Why, Aubrey? Why? Why are you so concerned about my health, Aubrey? [00:40:00] Speaker B: No reason. [00:40:01] Speaker A: What's on this other map, Aubrey? [00:40:04] Speaker B: Trying to make sure you're all healthy. [00:40:06] Speaker A: Uh huh. Sure. [00:40:10] Speaker D: Sure you are. [00:40:12] Speaker B: Uh huh. [00:40:14] Speaker A: The map is dark. [00:40:15] Speaker E: I'm scared if you move your token, they'll light up. [00:40:21] Speaker B: This is also, like your vision, because also this house. This house has no lights in it. [00:40:30] Speaker A: No. Who am I kidding? I'm like, I have a light. Wrong character. This character never has lights, ever. [00:40:36] Speaker D: I was gonna say everyone has dark vision except for Niall, right? [00:40:40] Speaker A: Yeah, I think so. [00:40:40] Speaker C: Niall has the goggles to help. [00:40:42] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah. [00:40:43] Speaker G: I just put the cool goggles on my head. Like, they would go nerd. [00:40:47] Speaker E: Did you mind? [00:40:48] Speaker D: Ask Proteg? [00:40:50] Speaker F: We should check down this way. There's an open area before we start checking the doors. [00:40:58] Speaker D: Yeah. Leith will follow. Alistair on keeping an eye out for traps. Always. And also just an eye out in general. [00:41:06] Speaker F: I am moving stealthily. Please let me know if slash win to make a stealth check. [00:41:14] Speaker G: Yeah, I'm letting these bitches go first. I'm chilling for now. [00:41:18] Speaker F: Oh, hey, it looks like it comes back around to the entryway. We should be good. [00:41:32] Speaker D: So, Aubrey, on this map, there is something that looks like an altar table with a book on it. Is that also something that we see or is that just a map detail? [00:41:43] Speaker B: Yeah, that's something you see. [00:41:47] Speaker D: Faith would like to move past Alistair and check out the altar table with a book on it, please. [00:41:55] Speaker B: Yeah. Is everyone else following? [00:42:05] Speaker G: Yeah, if it looks safe now, I'll come down. [00:42:08] Speaker A: There's a. Is there a door directly opposite of where we're standing right now that we walked past to get here? [00:42:17] Speaker B: Yes, there is a door right up here. [00:42:21] Speaker A: I'm gonna lie on the floor and look underneath the crack. [00:42:32] Speaker B: And as you're doing that, I saw apologizing. [00:42:34] Speaker A: This is gracious. [00:42:36] Speaker B: Laithe, you see this book? You've seen books like this before. It is a. It is like what they would make in the. Why can't I remember the word? Essentially, places where they study the constellations. This book itself is devoted to the mask. You see drawings of the constellations and musings on death and decay. Yes. Observatory. That's the word. [00:43:30] Speaker A: She's gonna scoot away from the door and, I don't know, throw a spoon that Yuri got her, gave her two episodes ago, and just throw a spoon towards everyone to try to quietly get their attention without whispering at whatever is under the door. [00:43:51] Speaker E: I mean, I'm still by the hallway. I would see a spoon come through the hallway and just look. See Lou, like, reverse scooting on, mouthing. What? Okay. [00:44:17] Speaker B: I will. [00:44:19] Speaker E: Have go close and wave whoever's near me to, like, motion the for quiet and to follow. [00:44:32] Speaker C: That would probably be me, in which I'm gonna wave to nile and bring the, like, come over here. Finger, because that's a narrow ass hallway. And what the fuck are we doing? Putting the twink up there? Get back here. [00:44:43] Speaker G: True, right? [00:44:44] Speaker C: I was like, what are you gonna do, body block? No, no, no. You're barely a shield. Come here. [00:44:51] Speaker G: Okay. [00:44:57] Speaker E: I heard dice rolling. I didn't like that. [00:45:00] Speaker A: Oh, no. I'm gonna stand up, please. [00:45:04] Speaker E: Standing here, walking towards the door, could I, like, try to listen to see if I hear what Lou is talking about? I'm not kidding. [00:45:16] Speaker B: You are. You're taking. You're switching places with Lou? [00:45:20] Speaker E: Yes, absolutely. [00:45:23] Speaker B: Yeah. As you do that, and you go to lean in to listen at the door, the door opens, and you find yourself face to face with a ghoul. So we're going to roll some initiative real quick. [00:45:40] Speaker G: Oh, shit. [00:45:41] Speaker C: I just need you. I need you to know that when I was. When we were, like, further up, earlier on the map, I could see the ghoul cutting through. I'm not sure why I could. I'm assuming that that was, like a little gliding glitch. Yeah, that was a gliding glitch. That's why if you saw me move back and forth from the same, like, two squares, that's why. It's because I couldn't see it. And I was testing how far. Like, I'm. Like, I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to see it. That's clearly, like, a divide in the room. But. [00:46:18] Speaker A: Don'T worry, I found it for you. I found it for your. Your in game knowledge. [00:46:23] Speaker C: Exactly. Exactly. [00:46:25] Speaker F: So I said I was stealthing, but I'm also over at the library. Should I roll stealth or perception? [00:46:33] Speaker B: You can roll stealth. And, Lou, what was your initiative? 23. Cool. That's what I thought. Just wanted to verify real quick, which is unfortunate. [00:46:46] Speaker A: I like the buffer of having time to think. [00:46:49] Speaker B: Yeah. You're going to start our encounter. [00:46:52] Speaker A: Uh huh. Crap. Okay. Okay. Okay. We're gonna have a little panic dance in the hallway. And she is going to exploit vulnerability of the. Ow. Wait, hold on. Of the ghoul. Hold on. Cat problems. Cat problem solved. Okay. And she's gonna exploit the vulnerability of this ghoul that the ghoul, closest, whatever ghoul, is in the doorway threatening her cousin. And that's gonna be an esoteric check. Why can't I find anything? There you are. Okay. Oh, dice, you are doing so good. What is this? [00:47:45] Speaker B: That's gonna be a 1616, I believe will be just enough. [00:47:57] Speaker A: Okay, cool. Give me its highest weakness, please. [00:48:03] Speaker B: Its highest weakness. [00:48:07] Speaker A: It's opened the door. Correct. [00:48:09] Speaker B: It has opened the door, yes. [00:48:11] Speaker A: Okay, so you just haven't moved on the map yet. That's fine. [00:48:13] Speaker B: Yeah. Because Gary took yours, your place. So it has no weaknesses, per se. [00:48:24] Speaker A: Okay. [00:48:25] Speaker B: So it will be your personal antithesis. [00:48:28] Speaker A: Cool, cool, cool, cool. It's a ghoul. Ghouls are undead. Um, but she's not, so she's gonna, I don't know, cut off a lock of hair with her tarot card, which probably looks really weird since nobody knows that her hair, her harrow cards are sharp. And then she's going to actually throw a card with her hair wrapped around it at this ghoul. This makes sense in my brain. Is that the ladies favor you said it was called. [00:49:07] Speaker B: Yes, the lady's favor. [00:49:09] Speaker A: Sweet. Okay. Hi, baby. What are you doing? Let me see here. [00:49:25] Speaker B: Okay. [00:49:29] Speaker A: Is it just. What's the plus on the sucker? [00:49:35] Speaker B: It will be whatever it'll be. It's a finesse weapon. So plus, it's a plus six for you. [00:49:45] Speaker A: Okay. Like it was plus tax. It's gonna be very fun. That's gonna be a. Oh, it's gonna be a dirty 2014. Yeah. 20. [00:49:55] Speaker B: That'll hit. [00:49:56] Speaker A: Whoo. Okay, we're gonna roll damage. Plus. [00:50:04] Speaker C: Oh. [00:50:05] Speaker A: Plus my implement. Empowerment. And plus, my vulnerability. Not my vulnerability, but its vulnerability. So that's also gonna be a plus. Oh, no, it's gonna be a plus three. Plus whatever is. I roll here. So seven plus three is ten. So ten damage as a hero card just flies past Yuri's face and stabs the ghoul. And you see a lock of your cousin's hair is wrapped around this mysterious card. And then I think it comes. Do I have to call it back, or does it come back on its own? [00:50:48] Speaker B: There are multiple cards in the deck, so you can just call all of them back as one action. I'll wait, then. Yeah, you can spend one action to recall all the cards, but also because both of you, Yuri, you will have to do it on your turn. But I should have had lathe. Do not lathe. Ellet do this at the beginning of her turn. I need a fortitude, save for its stench. [00:51:13] Speaker A: Why do you make all these smelly things for us? [00:51:18] Speaker C: Actually, you know, I have something to say. What the fuck, man? Actually, so far, we have had, like, one non stentious encounter. What are you. What are you trying to do here? What are you. [00:51:30] Speaker A: What are you just trying to make. [00:51:30] Speaker B: You feel like you're in Yharnam success. [00:51:34] Speaker C: Well, all I have to do is look around. Okay, where's the period blood? What do you mean? I'm not in Yharnam yet. Where's all the women suffering? [00:51:46] Speaker A: Um, I have a 26. [00:51:48] Speaker B: For the 26, that is a critical success. So you do not have to worry for the next minute. [00:51:53] Speaker A: I was recently sickened, so now nothing's turning my stomach. I'm fine. Yeah. Crap. Was that only two actions? [00:52:03] Speaker B: Yes. You still have one more action. [00:52:05] Speaker A: Gosh dang it. I'm gonna recall knowledge. Yeah, yeah, we're gonna recall knowledge because attacking twice is a bad idea when I only have a plus six to hit. Oh, you jumped. You jumped the dice. Get back in there. Um, I would like, uh. What can I use? Like, anything for recall knowledge or is there something specific I have to use? [00:52:35] Speaker B: You could do, uh. You could do of religion, society, arcana, or society. Society. Yeah, you can use society. [00:52:52] Speaker A: Yeah. Which is great. That's gonna give me another dirty 2030. [00:52:58] Speaker B: What would you like to know? You can ask two questions. [00:53:01] Speaker A: I would like to know. I already know it's not weekend to anything, but does it have any resistances or immunities? And, um, can I tell how they got here? Are they, like, members of the house? [00:53:26] Speaker B: Um, so for the resistance or immunities, because it doesn't have any. Usually I would say there'd be two questions. Um, but because they don't actually have any resistances, I will give you their immunities. They are immune to bleed, death effects, disease, paralyzed, poison, or unconscious. And do they think they're a member of the house? It's really hard to tell in this very far gone stage. Their clothes are rotting off of them. They are very, just gaunt and desiccated. But what you can tell is it looks like they were wearing a coinguard uniform. [00:54:11] Speaker G: Oh. [00:54:18] Speaker A: Interesting. Okay. [00:54:25] Speaker B: Yeah, that'll bring us to gravewing. [00:54:29] Speaker A: That's amazing. [00:54:30] Speaker C: Okay, so I never turned off my kinetic gate before, so I still have air. Kind of just. I would say that the air, like, around gravewing has become not cold, but sort of like, you know, sort of like someone has opened a window and there is a breeze. And it's just specifically, the window just happens to be wherever gravewing is. That's just kind of how the air acts around bravewing. Kind of not flowing around her in a circle, but sort of like if she's like a rock in a river kind of vibe. And I'm going to do a two action elemental blast, so that way I can add more damage to it. I'm air, so that's like 30ft, which should be able to reach the ghoul that is in front of Yuri. [00:55:42] Speaker B: 18Th 18 will hit. [00:55:46] Speaker C: Awesome. Oh, fucking baller. That's not. Oh, yeah, that's okay. So the ghoul is gonna take. Where are you? The ghoul's gonna take ten points of bludgeoning damage because I rolled eight on the die and I have a plus two for my con modifier as gravewing just kind of watches. Watches Yuri open the door. Well, no, Yuri didn't open the door. Watching the ghoul with opposable thumbs open the door, rotting away. And before just no. Gravewing's so tired of these smelly assholes. And she just kind of extends her arms back and kind of in a swirling motion, pushed to. Pushes the air forward. No, nothing necessarily fancy. It's sort of like if you've ever had long sleeves and punched so hard that you could cut the wind. That is what you hear before this ghoul gets ten points to the face. Probably not. I know. Not mechanically, but narratively, maybe it smells better. Narratively. [00:57:08] Speaker B: Narratively, maybe. [00:57:12] Speaker C: I think I have one more action. Do you have one more action? Um. I'm gonna just punch it one more time. Elemental blast style. With the. With the penalty. Penalty. And no extra, extra, extra damage. Yeah. It is an attack. I just don't think it's finesse. So that means it's the. Instead of minus four, it's minus five. Right? [00:57:44] Speaker B: Minus five. Yeah. [00:57:45] Speaker C: Okay. Thank you. I just need to do the math for that. Thank you. [00:57:50] Speaker B: 1717 will just barely hit. [00:57:55] Speaker C: Nice. And because it's less you can also take the smaller damage. Die. But I'm rolling Max on damage. Six more points of bludgeoning damage. [00:58:13] Speaker G: Oh, sorry. [00:58:14] Speaker C: It's not bludgeoning. They were slashing. [00:58:16] Speaker B: Slashing? [00:58:16] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, they were both slashing. My bad. [00:58:19] Speaker B: It doesn't really change anything. So it's still standing, but it looks relatively fucked up from all of these attacks. [00:58:27] Speaker C: Consecutive strong punches is what is happening. [00:58:34] Speaker B: You all hear the sound of skittering from somewhere in the room ahead of you as another figure moves into frame. And then this one attempts to, uh, tumble through you. Yuri. [00:58:52] Speaker C: Ew. Ew. [00:58:55] Speaker E: How dare you? [00:58:55] Speaker C: What is this? [00:58:56] Speaker E: I'm upset. I don't have a tack of opportunity. [00:58:58] Speaker B: Uh, does a 26 beat your reflex DC? [00:59:03] Speaker E: My reflex DC? It sure as hell does not. Uh, wait, no, it does. [00:59:11] Speaker G: Yeah, I was about to say, is your. Is it a plus 16 at level three? I was like, huh? [00:59:16] Speaker E: No, no, I saw the plus, and I was like, oh, 19. Duh. I'm playing an unwavering force. Or using higher stats. No, yeah, I was about to say. [00:59:26] Speaker G: Damn, you're looking hotter and hotter by the minute. [00:59:30] Speaker B: So you all watch as this fool, like, on all fours, like, skitters into frame, and then grabs, jumps onto the wall, and then sort of almost flips above Yuri, landing behind him. [00:59:47] Speaker C: No unappreciating, no disgusting. [00:59:52] Speaker B: And is going to attempt to sink its fangs into, I don't know, probably the back of your leg. [01:00:00] Speaker E: Rude. [01:00:04] Speaker B: So, 25 to hit you. [01:00:07] Speaker E: Yes, definitely. [01:00:09] Speaker B: And please, I'm going to need two fortitude saves. [01:00:12] Speaker E: A two whole fortitude saves. [01:00:16] Speaker A: Hey. [01:00:20] Speaker E: That first one is going to be a 20. 07:00 a.m. i. Yeah, and then I'm gonna use a hero point for that second one. Come on, your dice. 16 on the second one. [01:00:41] Speaker B: So, good news, bad news. Um, good news, you're only gonna take two damage. Also good news, you're not. You beat the DC for ghoul fever. Uh, but unfortunately, you did not beat the DC for paralysis. [01:00:55] Speaker A: No. Aubrey. [01:01:03] Speaker B: As the ghoul bites into your leg and you feel your body seize up, and you will get a chance at the end of your turn to see if you can shake this off. So. [01:01:21] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:01:21] Speaker B: Yuri. [01:01:25] Speaker E: You can't. [01:01:25] Speaker B: Really. [01:01:26] Speaker E: I could. I could. I can only use actions except to recall knowledge. Use actions that require only your mind. [01:01:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:01:34] Speaker E: Could I do a monster lord? Check to see what the fuck this is? [01:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah, you can give me that. Monster lord. Or. [01:01:43] Speaker E: What is it? Is it monster Lord? Yeah, it is monster Lord. Well, that's going to be also, don't. [01:01:48] Speaker B: Forget about your bell reaction. [01:01:53] Speaker A: I did forget about that. [01:01:56] Speaker E: That's a 19 for me. [01:01:58] Speaker A: Dang it. I knew there was something. [01:02:00] Speaker B: A 19? [01:02:01] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:02:01] Speaker B: This is a ghoul. [01:02:03] Speaker E: This is. This is just, like, a fucked up ghoul. [01:02:06] Speaker B: This is a ghoul. [01:02:08] Speaker E: This, like, golem ass motherfucker. All right. I can't. I can't even, like, move my mouth. I think. How do I get rid of it? [01:02:26] Speaker B: You are going to make another fortitude save. [01:02:29] Speaker E: Okay, that is a 30 20 dirty 20. [01:02:37] Speaker B: And that will. It'll end your turn. But you can feel your feeling returning to your body, and you can kind of start moving your limbs. [01:02:47] Speaker E: Yeah. Like, uh, Lou Alouette. You would see every muscle in Yuri's body is so tense right now, and. But they're not moving. And then suddenly, like, their body jerks in motions just like, fuck. But that's my turn. No. [01:03:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Um, and then that will bring us to one of the others in the room, and let's see. [01:03:29] Speaker A: What is he gonna do? I like how close we are to this door in this narrow kill hallway. [01:03:35] Speaker B: Yes. Great. So he is going to delay his turn for now and will bring us to Alistair. [01:03:56] Speaker F: All right, so I hear things going on. So first action, I'm gonna stride 510 15. Take advantage of my new, new fleet. 2025. All right. And same amount of COVID for any of them. So I'm gonna look at that far guy, and I am going to target, and I'm gonna kind of look around and try to figure out how to devise a stratagem. Oh, good. That is definitely going to hit. So I think I see a good opportunity to attack. And so I will attempt to strike, and I will yell at everybody, let's get Eurida out there and get them out, like, funneled this way. Oh. And as part of my divisive stratagem, I can also recall knowledge. I know what these guys are, but if I get a critical hit, I get additional plus one that I can pass off, which is. It's religion for ghouls, as I recall. Hey, does 25 crit, the recall knowledge check for ghouls? [01:05:39] Speaker B: It does not. [01:05:45] Speaker F: Yeah. Nothing really to learn that we don't already know, but that's all right. I will also, as part of that, that is should be a crit. Two with the 29. [01:06:02] Speaker B: It says it is a crit. [01:06:05] Speaker F: Wow. That is. Wow. That is impressively bad. That is eight damage. [01:06:14] Speaker B: Still enough to kill it. [01:06:17] Speaker F: All right. And I guess shared stratagem doesn't do any good, because I can only make you off guard to a dead guy or vice versa. [01:06:28] Speaker B: Exactly. [01:06:29] Speaker F: And that is all three actions. So I will finish up my turn. [01:06:35] Speaker B: One of the other ghouls will re enter the initiative at this time and spend their first action to move into combat with Yuri. And they are going to spend their second action to attack you with sort of the disgusting looking clawed hand that they have. Oh, it is a 19. I don't know. I don't think that's gonna hit. You're muted. [01:07:23] Speaker E: Yes, that does hit. [01:07:25] Speaker B: That does hit. Okay, so you're going to take nine damage and they will spend their last action to grab you. [01:07:38] Speaker E: Rude. Is that an automatic grab on hit or. [01:07:41] Speaker B: They have to. They have to spend the action to grab, but yes, it is a grab on hit. [01:07:46] Speaker A: Can I do my thing? [01:07:46] Speaker E: All right. [01:07:47] Speaker A: Can I do my reaction? I don't know why I'm raising my. [01:07:51] Speaker B: Hand like we're in class, but, yeah, you can. [01:07:54] Speaker A: Can I? Can I? Okay, I need a will save against my class CT, please. [01:08:05] Speaker B: It is not going to stop the grab from happening. [01:08:09] Speaker A: That's okay. This is for the strike part anyway. Okay. I think that might bring my class DC. Oh, wait, no, I have a class DC of 19, I think. Yes. Okay, cool. Then you are clumsy. No, enfeebled. Your enfeebled one. I think that's what I mean. [01:08:33] Speaker B: You're enfeebled one. [01:08:36] Speaker A: Yeah, we're gonna go enfeebled. [01:08:38] Speaker B: Okay. [01:08:39] Speaker A: Our choice. But. [01:08:43] Speaker B: Which actually doesn't change the outcome of the role because the claw is considered a finesse. [01:08:48] Speaker A: No, dag. [01:08:50] Speaker B: Sorry. [01:08:52] Speaker E: That's so fine. They're out here, trapped with me is what I'm gonna say with hope. [01:09:00] Speaker B: Laithe, it is now your turn. [01:09:04] Speaker D: Yeah. Laith is going to sigh and look longingly at the book, and then you. [01:09:09] Speaker B: Could take the book with you. It's not, like, bolted to the podium. [01:09:13] Speaker D: Yeah, I'll grab the book before I start moving. I will. Yeah. Run up past Alistair, past niall, past grey ring, into the hallway with the closest ghoul. And I actually am gonna stay a little bit back, and I will attempt to hit it with a whip. That is a 16 to hit. [01:09:51] Speaker B: A 16 will hit. [01:09:52] Speaker D: Oh, hey. I do not get sneak attack because I am not flanking and I haven't done anything else. So that is five points of damage. [01:10:08] Speaker B: All right? Anything else? [01:10:11] Speaker D: That's it for me. [01:10:12] Speaker B: Hi. We hear the sounds of another figure in Yuri. You see another friend pop up in the background behind this one, and he appears to have an improvised weapon of a glass. And is going to throw the glass at you. [01:10:39] Speaker C: I love these resident evil zombie motherfuckers like him. [01:10:47] Speaker E: You just keep coming. [01:10:52] Speaker B: I don't think a 16 is gonna hit you. [01:10:54] Speaker E: It is not. [01:10:56] Speaker B: Oh, you managed to duck out of the way of the glass and it will shatter on the wall behind you. [01:11:09] Speaker E: I'm so glad I got right here instead of Lou. [01:11:15] Speaker A: I'm not. You better have lots of HP left. [01:11:22] Speaker B: And that's its turn. So it'll bring us to Nile. [01:11:29] Speaker G: I will use needle darts just because it's not a spell slot. I'm gonna be honest. I'm very worried about there being more enemies in this cave. And I'm gonna try to hit in. [01:11:39] Speaker B: This mansion, in this. [01:11:41] Speaker G: It's a cave in my heart. I'm gonna try hitting the guy that's closer between the ugly one. You know, the one that I would not smash. Okay. [01:11:55] Speaker B: Okay. [01:11:57] Speaker G: That is a very good roll. Um, so that is a 26 minus one, which is a 25. [01:12:05] Speaker B: Roll it. [01:12:06] Speaker C: What did you know? Roll it back. What did you. The ugly one, you would what? [01:12:11] Speaker G: The one. [01:12:16] Speaker B: So because of the. It's not a minus one to your rolls. It's a plus one to their ac. So that does hit. It's not a crit. [01:12:26] Speaker G: Okay. Okay. So it's not a crit. [01:12:28] Speaker B: Unfortunate, because of the soft cover. [01:12:32] Speaker G: Oh, you guys are in the way. Okay, that's okay. I'll take the 44 damage. I wish you get a plus one because I'm cool, but I don't think I have anything that can actually give me a plus one because I'm cool. All right, let me roll my damage real quick. That is eleven points of needle darts damage, which is piercing damage. [01:13:00] Speaker B: It is still standing. [01:13:02] Speaker G: Yeah, they just kind of thunk into them. Honestly, I don't have a. I do have a single spell attack, but I'd rather save my spell slots. I will just, um. [01:13:12] Speaker A: Hmm. [01:13:12] Speaker G: I don't have anything to help you guys. There's only one action. [01:13:16] Speaker B: Do you have guidance? [01:13:18] Speaker G: I do not have guidance. You can guide yourself, guys. I'll take any guidance. Again. Hmm. Let me check something. How good is this guy looking? Is he looking kind of fucked? [01:13:36] Speaker B: Doesn't look great. [01:13:39] Speaker G: I don't think the spell do enough damage with just one action. I'm going to cast just shield the old reliable shield. I know I'm not in target of anything. May as well. [01:13:51] Speaker C: Hey. [01:13:52] Speaker B: And that'll bring us to Lou. And before you do anything, give me a fortune. Safe because a new, new person has moved in with the unfortunate aura. [01:14:03] Speaker A: Oh, no, that is only gonna be a 14. [01:14:17] Speaker B: So you will find yourself a thickened one by the smell of it. [01:14:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, I am. It's gross. This one smells worse than the last one. [01:14:29] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [01:14:30] Speaker C: In God with and gays, anybody who's pink will always be sick. [01:14:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:14:35] Speaker B: Right. We must continue tradition. [01:14:41] Speaker A: Mm hmm. [01:14:41] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [01:14:42] Speaker A: Um. Marvelous. Okay. Um. Geez, my whole plan just went out of my head immediately. Um, okay, so the one that I was exploiting is dead. [01:14:57] Speaker B: Yes. [01:14:59] Speaker A: Okay. Cause they're all still on the map, so I wasn't sure. [01:15:03] Speaker B: It's just a bunch of the same kind. [01:15:05] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Okay. I must have lost track of them then. Okay, perfect. That's fine. So there's one in the doorway and one in the room, but, like, visible. [01:15:17] Speaker B: One in the doorway. You can't see the one that's beyond it. You can see that the ghoul that's behind Yuri. And the one in front of Yuri. And there's one that's also behind the one that's in front of Yuri. But you can't see that one. [01:15:30] Speaker A: There's four. [01:15:33] Speaker E: There were. [01:15:34] Speaker A: I thought there's only three. [01:15:36] Speaker B: There were four of them total, and now we're down to three. [01:15:40] Speaker A: Oh, okay, okay, okay. I miscounted to begin with. Okay, cool, cool, cool. [01:15:44] Speaker B: You couldn't see all of them. [01:15:46] Speaker A: That's probably why. That's probably why I was trying to keep track just in my brain and I must have missed one. Anyway, that's fine. So whichever one is bothering Yuri the most, I'm going to. [01:16:01] Speaker B: It was probably the one. It's either the one that has him grabbed, or it's the one that is behind him and bit his leg. [01:16:08] Speaker A: Jeez. Three going great. [01:16:13] Speaker B: Beautiful time here. [01:16:15] Speaker A: Do either of them look kind of dead? [01:16:17] Speaker B: Wait, the one that's behind. Yeah, I mean, I understand your question. I wasn't going to be facetious there. I could have. But the one that is behind Yuri does look very rough. But they all look dead. [01:16:37] Speaker A: Shoot. Do I help Yuri? I guess I'm gonna help Yuri no matter what. It's just how much am I gonna help Yuri? Okay, so act one. I mean, step one, we are going to exploit vulnerability on the one grabbing Yuri. No, wait, sorry. On the dying one. Sorry. Geez. No, no, I got this right? The one. The one that's almost dead for again is gonna. I'm exploiting. I'm exploiting them. I'm using a hero point. That may not be much better. Oh, wait, no, that's gonna be fine because it's a plus. Oh, right up second. So it's gonna be a 19. [01:17:23] Speaker B: A 19? Yeah. To exploit it. Yeah. Yes. Then that succeeds. [01:17:28] Speaker C: Okay, great. [01:17:30] Speaker A: I think she realizes hair makes no sense as a sign of, like, the opposite of death. And so she's just gonna, like, grab a little thin layer of skin off just to make the next layer down bleed a little bit and get that on the next tarot card and chuck that sucker. Oh, wait, am I in within range of. I could stab it from here. Could I stab it with my sword from here? [01:17:56] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a little awkward. You can reach around a corner, but theoretically, yes. [01:18:01] Speaker A: You know what? It's the same either way. So I'll throw the card. Cause it's more fun. Did it do? Ooh, natural 20. [01:18:12] Speaker B: Hell yeah. [01:18:13] Speaker A: My dice is apologizing for earlier. So it's gonna be a 25. [01:18:20] Speaker B: 25 that now 20. Critical hit. Pull you a card. So the card is called wide open. Target is off guard, which land your next turn, which may or may not matter. Roll that damage for me. [01:18:37] Speaker A: Okie, okie, okie, okie. Dice. [01:18:40] Speaker D: And roll the dice. [01:18:43] Speaker A: That's a four plus two plus three. So four plus five is nine times. [01:18:52] Speaker B: Two times two is 1818, which is funny enough. More help than this thing had to start with. [01:18:59] Speaker A: Wow. Very, very dead. Don't you mess with my cousin. And then for my last action, if I am looking at this right, I can take the help action. So I can give Yuri aid as a reaction later. [01:19:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:19:20] Speaker A: Okay. Preparing help is what I'm doing. Um, which, I don't know, looks like kicking the ghoul, hugging him, or whacking it in the head or pulling on its arm. Yeah, something like that. [01:19:37] Speaker B: And that'll bring us to grapewing. [01:19:42] Speaker C: Grabbing and hurting Gary. But the. The really gross one that ran up a wall and shit, that's dead. [01:19:51] Speaker A: I. [01:19:52] Speaker C: So we are going to once again, two action elemental blast the one grabbing area. And hopefully, hopefully with. With any luck, kill it. [01:20:10] Speaker B: 24 to hit. And that is. That will hit. Not a crib. [01:20:15] Speaker C: Nice, nice, nice. Um, it's going to take seven points of slashing. [01:20:26] Speaker B: All right. [01:20:29] Speaker C: If it's still up, we got to do the exact same thing. Action. [01:20:32] Speaker B: Hadn't taken any damage yet. [01:20:37] Speaker C: Wasn't that the one that I was. [01:20:38] Speaker B: Hitting before you killed it, or did somebody die? Yeah, Alistair killed it. [01:20:47] Speaker C: Oh, okay. It really was just the same token. I was just. I was very curious. [01:20:51] Speaker B: It's the same token. It's the same kind of monk, same type of ghoul. [01:20:56] Speaker C: Okay. [01:20:56] Speaker A: Okay. [01:20:58] Speaker B: Yeah. It's at the same token in the same spot. [01:21:01] Speaker C: Oh, I could have been. There's a tw. I forgot. I've been forgetting to add my plus one because of the bracelet that I have. There's a 25 critical. [01:21:11] Speaker B: 25 would not crit with. [01:21:12] Speaker C: Not crit. Okay. Yeah, that. I just. Just wanted to double check that. Keep forgetting to add my plus one. That wasn't 23. [01:21:39] Speaker B: 23. 23 will also hit. [01:21:45] Speaker C: Roll. A 19 on the die for that one. That's wild. Five points of slashing damage. [01:21:57] Speaker B: Yeah, you've dealt it a mighty blow, but it is still standing. [01:22:01] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm just airbending. I'm just air bending in this hallway. [01:22:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:22:12] Speaker C: But I'm gonna be choosing to keep my distance where it's at right now because this is a tiny hallway. [01:22:20] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. It is reminiscent of the lovely, lovely kill boxes. [01:22:27] Speaker C: Yep. Except the only person in the kill box right now is just Yuri. I was gonna say before it was just marrow, and now it's just Yuri. This is. This is goes to show that if you're pink, you will be sick, and if you're edgy looking, you're in the kill box. [01:22:45] Speaker G: Yeah, I'm not in the kill box because I'm staying in my own lane right now. I'm. You are. [01:22:51] Speaker B: Speaking of Yuri, it's your turn and you can do things. This turned beautiful. [01:22:56] Speaker E: Great. After everything, Yurito is fuming. If their eyebrows and eyes could be of made to fire, they would be. Instead, the first thing I'm going to do is just try to kill the thing grappling me with the sword. Just a long sword, because that's just something that they have not going to attempt to use this new weapon in the emergency situation. That is. Is it a plus eight or plus nine to hit from me? So that's a 26. [01:23:34] Speaker A: Do I give you the aid now? [01:23:37] Speaker B: Uh, yeah, you can roll two aid. [01:23:40] Speaker A: Okay. Um, what exactly is it to roll? Um, what is the aid based off of? [01:23:46] Speaker B: Uh, how were you helping? [01:23:51] Speaker A: I kind of figured she was trying to, like, give him space against the ghoul so he could, like, maneuver. [01:24:01] Speaker B: So something like that would probably be like an athletics check. [01:24:05] Speaker A: Never mind. I'm not helping you at all. Hopefully it's not a great fail, because that's gonna be an eight right now. [01:24:16] Speaker B: An eight? [01:24:17] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [01:24:18] Speaker B: It is not a crit fail. The DC for aid has changed, so it's 15. [01:24:27] Speaker A: Sorry, Yuri. No help today. [01:24:31] Speaker B: So it is a hit. It is just a normal hit. It is not a crit. [01:24:37] Speaker E: Okay. To the D eight. S. Where are the D eight? S eight. That is math. Math. Math. Uh, five dance slashing damage. [01:24:53] Speaker B: Right. Nice. [01:24:56] Speaker E: Fucker. [01:24:57] Speaker B: Still? Yeah, it's still standing. [01:24:59] Speaker E: All right. Nope. I threw my dice by accident. Um, I'll get that in a second. No, kitty, no, come on. Wait, 1 second. [01:25:13] Speaker B: Yeah, so you can't leave dice around to the cats, so the cats will find them. [01:25:19] Speaker A: I think there's still one under my fridge that UmI threw under there once. I can't find it to get it out. [01:25:27] Speaker B: Him. [01:25:28] Speaker E: I'm back. Sorry. The next roll is going to be. I am not rolling. With finesse weapons, this minus five, that's a 16. [01:25:47] Speaker B: A 16 will not hit. [01:25:53] Speaker E: If I roll an escape check, it's at the multiple penalty bonus, huh? [01:25:58] Speaker B: Uh, yes. [01:26:03] Speaker E: You have to minus ten. [01:26:06] Speaker B: Yeah. You could either do an athletics check, an acrobatics check, or an unarmed strike. I mean, it is one of those things where you are kind of crib fishing, but also at the same time you don't. If you fail, nothing bad happens. [01:26:24] Speaker E: Yeah, I'll try it. I have a plus eight, so it's just gonna be at a minus two for an athletics role. So how does six do? [01:26:40] Speaker B: Technically? A critical failure. [01:26:42] Speaker E: Okay. [01:26:45] Speaker B: But, you know, you're a point motherfucker. [01:26:48] Speaker E: I already used a hero point. [01:26:50] Speaker C: Oh, my God. [01:26:52] Speaker E: I used the hero point. Last turn, remember? [01:26:55] Speaker C: Oh, my God. [01:26:58] Speaker E: Uh, yeah, I think Eurudo gets, like, maybe just their arm free and they, like, stabs this thing and then, like, can't get any more leverage as they're trying to pull their sword out. That's my turn. [01:27:17] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that'll bring us to Alistair. [01:27:20] Speaker F: All right, so I'm going to target our friend right there. That's most damaged. I do actually have to physically target it or the things won't work properly. Devise a stratagem. [01:27:40] Speaker B: Eleven. [01:27:41] Speaker F: That'll hit, reload my crossbow and then shoot it. [01:27:52] Speaker B: A 21 will hit, not a crit. [01:27:56] Speaker F: And there we go for more damage than my crit dead. That eight was terrible. Twelve damage. [01:28:11] Speaker B: Yeah. Uh, anything else for your turn? [01:28:15] Speaker F: That is all three actions. Cause I got a reload. [01:28:18] Speaker B: Ay. So the ghoul soldier that is in front of you, Yuri, is going to go, uh, whoop. They are going to spend their first action to start whispering in neck curl. Yuri, can you give me a will save just real quick? [01:28:51] Speaker E: I fucking guess. All right, I'm using my chocolate ice for this. I think all my saves are the same right now. So that's a 21. [01:29:05] Speaker B: 21. Nothing seems to happen. [01:29:11] Speaker E: Just a hey, little mama, let me explain your ear. [01:29:14] Speaker B: And then it is going to just take a jaw strike at you. [01:29:23] Speaker E: Fair, fair. [01:29:28] Speaker B: 16 doesn't hit you. [01:29:30] Speaker E: It does not. [01:29:32] Speaker B: They're gonna try one more time. [01:29:34] Speaker E: Once more with gusto. Right. [01:29:36] Speaker B: For a 19. [01:29:38] Speaker E: Fuck, yeah. That hits. [01:29:47] Speaker B: For three damage. [01:29:49] Speaker E: All right. I think I know what I'm doing. [01:29:52] Speaker B: Again, but you don't have to make any saves with this one. [01:29:55] Speaker E: Yay. Thank you. [01:30:00] Speaker B: I want to bring us to lathe. [01:30:03] Speaker D: So I speak necro. Can I hear what it's saying? Is it anything interesting or is it just, like, spell mumbo jumbo. [01:30:13] Speaker B: So you can hear that this ghoul tried to curse Yuri with the hunger for flesh. [01:30:26] Speaker G: I want to get cursed with that because it would be funny. Like, jokes on you. I already got that. [01:30:32] Speaker E: Yuri joined me so bad. [01:30:39] Speaker C: So many. Wow. Cannibalism can hurt you. Okay. [01:30:46] Speaker A: Join the canopy squad. [01:30:48] Speaker B: You're unsure if it worked? [01:30:50] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay, so laith will step up behind Yuri. Is that him? If you bite me, I will stab you and then faint with their whip at the ghoul, sort of around Yuri and then attempt to actually hit them. So for the feint, that is 21 against their perception, DC. [01:31:26] Speaker B: That is a success. [01:31:28] Speaker G: Yay. [01:31:32] Speaker B: No, that's just a success. [01:31:35] Speaker D: A crit would have been cool. [01:31:36] Speaker B: No, because I was like. I got tripped up by math and I was like, yeah. Yeah. It's almost. But it's not. [01:31:43] Speaker D: That's fair. 25 for the attack. [01:31:47] Speaker B: 25. 25 will hit. [01:31:50] Speaker D: Whoo. That is seven damage. And that is my turn. [01:32:03] Speaker B: Yeah. No, and you get rid of the one that Yuri. You're no longer grabbed for. Now. [01:32:13] Speaker E: You'Re the quietly just. Fuck. Thank you. Bite you. [01:32:24] Speaker B: And so that'll bring us to the last soldier's turn. And you see this one is carrying a sword. And so they are going to take that five foot step up to you and brandish that sword for a 19. [01:32:50] Speaker E: Fucking shit. Yeah. Yeah. [01:32:53] Speaker B: Seems to be the most common number I've rolled tonight for. The first hit is four damage. And then they're going to attempt it one more time. A 19 again. I'm literally rolling on the VTT so they can see all of this. [01:33:13] Speaker E: Let's go. [01:33:15] Speaker A: They are actually just question marks, but. [01:33:18] Speaker C: We all have our cams on and Dusty's background says ho's mad. It should just be dusty. Mad. It should just put your head to cover a hose just so that way it's. You. Mad. Yeah, mad. [01:33:33] Speaker B: So that. That is a. That is nine damage. [01:33:36] Speaker E: Fucking shit. [01:33:38] Speaker B: But then that's its entire turn. And that'll bring us to Nile. [01:33:46] Speaker G: Well, if at first you don't succeed, blast them with your needle darts again. So I'm gonna blast them with my needle darts again. I'd like to use a hero point so I don't hit one of my allies. We should have more than one of those now. I was like, oh, uh, that would probably hit Yuri, which would not be good. [01:34:14] Speaker B: Just continue to continue the trend of the night. [01:34:18] Speaker G: I'm not gonna hit Yuri. Well, it depends what this other role is. [01:34:23] Speaker B: Okay. [01:34:23] Speaker G: I might hit Yuri. Actually, um, that's. That's a 13. [01:34:29] Speaker B: A 13? No, it's not a critical failure, so you don't worry about hitting Yuri. It's just you're a little too high up, and it just sort of embeds in the door frame above this thing. [01:34:40] Speaker G: Ah. It's just, like, dropped. Um, I guess I am just gonna keep my shield up because there's one. [01:34:48] Speaker A: Of these guys left. [01:34:49] Speaker G: But also my. My job is to shoot from a distance and not go into melee because I am squishy as all hell and I am doing that job to perfection. That's why I'm staying out of the goddamn way. And that is my turn. [01:35:01] Speaker B: Right, Lou? It is your turn. [01:35:06] Speaker A: Again. [01:35:07] Speaker B: Yes. [01:35:08] Speaker A: Okay, okay, okay, okay. We're gonna do the same thing we've been doing. [01:35:17] Speaker B: Just a question. How's your acrobatics? [01:35:19] Speaker A: Bad. [01:35:20] Speaker B: Okay. You could. You could attempt to tumble through the thing's space and blanket with Yuri. [01:35:30] Speaker A: It's a minus one. [01:35:32] Speaker B: That's fair. [01:35:33] Speaker C: That was my next thing, so don't worry about it. [01:35:35] Speaker A: I go, like, right after you so bad. That is the answer to that. But what I can. [01:35:42] Speaker B: You can also spend an extra to wretch at any point. [01:35:45] Speaker A: Eh, I got better thanks to this. That's fair. I'm clearly not a target here. Um, but we're gonna just, um. Yeah, I think I'm gonna do this instead of the usual. It will mean less damage if I attack, but that's okay. I can handle that. So Lou is just gonna just start, like, shouting encouragement at Yuri, like, no, you've got this. You're doing so good. Look how hot. You're taking all the hits. Just get out. You got this. I don't know, just a bunch of nonsense in order to. And that's gonna be infectious enthusiasm. So I get a plus one to. We're gonna say attack rolls. And also Yuri gets a plus one to attack rolls. And then I'm going to attack. Nope. No, I'm not gonna attack. That's a three plus, you know, six. [01:37:01] Speaker B: So it's a nine. It's not a critical failure. [01:37:04] Speaker A: No, no, sorry. An eight. Sorry, I forgot. I'm sick. And so that's plus five. This is still not great. [01:37:12] Speaker B: Give me a roll of d four real quick. [01:37:16] Speaker A: Oh, dear. Oh, no, two. [01:37:22] Speaker B: Uh, your card just sort of, like, embeds itself in the wall. [01:37:26] Speaker A: Ah, sorry. [01:37:29] Speaker B: If you've gotten a three or four, you would have hit yuri, my badlandhouse. [01:37:37] Speaker E: I love the image of you yelling all this encouragement as Eurudot. Just gets slashed across the chest. [01:37:43] Speaker A: Just touch it. You're doing so great. Set it on fire. Eat it. [01:37:48] Speaker B: I don't know. [01:37:49] Speaker A: Do something. And that's my whole turn. [01:37:52] Speaker B: Hey. And that'll bring us to Gravewang. [01:37:57] Speaker C: Awesome. I'm gonna do the tumblin true thing, but I've. I've never done that before. What do I need to do for it? [01:38:05] Speaker B: Um, it, uh, you. You could naturally get behind this thing if you had movement, right? [01:38:13] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [01:38:14] Speaker B: So I'm going to need an acrobatics check versus. It's a reflex DC. [01:38:18] Speaker C: Okay. Dope. Acrobatics is very good. Um, uh, 1 second. Get 26. [01:38:37] Speaker B: 26. It's not a critical, but it's still a success. And how does it look as you tumble through this thing's space and end up behind it? [01:38:46] Speaker C: Yeah. So we blast in it with air, basically just airbending in the hallway. Um, and Yuri just. Yuri's just having a very bad, no good day. Um, so I think, um, kind of similarly to the. The yucky ghoul that, like, crawled on the wall, except what graveling does is she. She kind of runs, kind of jumps from wall to wall. So she's up and then just pushes herself with, like, air to, like, get all the way to the other side, lands on her hands, kind of just springs upward like a fucking gymnast and is behind the ghoul now. [01:39:39] Speaker B: One action. One action. [01:39:42] Speaker C: I'm. I'm gonna. I'm gonna flurry of blows this next. This next one so I can punch it real good. Real good. Is that my punch right now? Nice. The first one is. I think that's 24, but I'm going to double check real quick. Yeah, no, yeah, 24, 24. [01:40:15] Speaker B: 24 will hit. It's not a crit, but it will hit. [01:40:18] Speaker C: I'm gonna roll both the punches first because it is flurry of blows. [01:40:22] Speaker B: Did you want to do stunning strike? [01:40:24] Speaker C: Uh, yeah. Yeah. Let's stun it once. I don't got it. Has to roll for stunning strike, right? [01:40:33] Speaker B: Yeah. It's a fortitude save. It's just the thing you can tack on if you want, or nothing. So, twelve. I am guessing it that is a failure. [01:40:42] Speaker C: Is it? Against my class, do you see? [01:40:45] Speaker A: Yes. [01:40:46] Speaker C: Okay, then I think it does fail. Yeah. [01:40:50] Speaker B: So it'll be. If it survives until it's turn, it'll have one less action to attack Yuri with. [01:40:56] Speaker G: Yeah, that's unfortunate. I think I should attack Yuri more. I'll make up for it. [01:41:03] Speaker C: Well, the next hit is a Nat 20. I don't think it will last, sadly, but that sure is it. I love seeing this little fucking duck so much. Duck dice shout out to you. [01:41:21] Speaker B: Yes, a duck dice makes. Fantastic. The target will also be confused for one round. The target is called rattled. And was that both attacks that you rolled for? [01:41:32] Speaker C: That was both attacks. [01:41:33] Speaker G: I rolled four. [01:41:34] Speaker C: So I gotta do damage now. [01:41:37] Speaker B: Yep. [01:41:38] Speaker C: And the second one is. We're just doubling it, so. [01:41:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:41:42] Speaker C: Okay, cool. Let's just. The first hit is nine points of damage because I keep rolling Max, for damage purposes. Um, and the next. The second hit is, uh, twelve. [01:42:04] Speaker B: Well, yeah, it's standing, but barely. [01:42:08] Speaker A: Mm hmm. [01:42:11] Speaker C: This time I punch it for real. Ba ba ba. Like, kind of real fast. Basic. Real fast. Basically, like, mantis strikes going up the back and. And then stunning it as I hit it in the back of the neck. I technically have one more action left. I'm gonna attempt to trip it. I know that this is. This would technically be my third. Like. [01:42:43] Speaker B: Yeah, it would be the, um. Yeah, I believe it still counts as finesse. So I believe it is only minus eight. [01:42:49] Speaker C: Yeah, still. [01:42:55] Speaker B: And it is an athletics check. [01:42:58] Speaker C: Athletics check. Athletics check. That's actually. So that's. Oh, bo. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Okay. Okay. [01:43:06] Speaker B: An athletic check. It's still with the minus eight, but, you know. [01:43:09] Speaker G: Yeah, with a bite. [01:43:10] Speaker C: I mean, like, it's better than, like, just a plus one. I have this too. [01:43:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Versus its reflex. [01:43:16] Speaker C: Do you say that will be 13. [01:43:21] Speaker B: You are unable to trip it. [01:43:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I just don't see an opening. Like, I try to go in for it, but I just move back instead and keep it as. It's awful off guard now. Right? [01:43:38] Speaker B: Oh, it is. And it's confused and stunned. And Yuri. [01:43:47] Speaker E: Pardon me, bravewing, could probably see this because they're more or less his face. Yuri's eyes are starting to look a little manic, maybe a little unhinged, but they are now only focused on trying to just fucking murder this thing. But they're going to. No, they're not even going to try to do the flaming thing. I'm just going to try to freaking attack it. Freaking, yeah. Freaking attacking. It's clocked. That is with a plus one from good cousin here. That is going to be a 27. [01:44:37] Speaker B: Yeah. A 27 is going to hit and is actually because of the. It being off guard, a crit. [01:44:44] Speaker E: Yeah. Nice. So that is just double, right? [01:44:52] Speaker B: Yeah, double 14 damage. How would you like to dispatch this final ghoul? [01:45:02] Speaker E: I think Yuri is just such in this mode that they take this. The long story they have, they drive it right through this thing's chest and in emotion, like, it lifts. He lifts the school off the ground and slams the sword down through the ground, through the thing's chest, through the floorboards, just to make sure it's fucking dead. [01:45:28] Speaker B: Yeah. You do that, it stops moving. You don't hear any more sounds of ghouls. And, you know, you can all take a breath, as we all do in real life as well. Yeah. And we'll be back next week with more fun shenanigans and murder mansion. Tick. Tick us out. [01:45:53] Speaker G: Thank you for listening to the wonderful episode of goblets and gays.
