Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam.
Welcome to Godless and Gays.
I am not our usual gm.
It's Aki. If you don't recognize this voice, what are you doing here? And today for the next little while we're going to be doing a miniseries called Brine in the Charnel house set in a homebrew fantasy setting called Kadira Day.
And joining me are my bitches.
Say hi.
[00:01:27] Speaker B: Hi.
[00:01:29] Speaker C: I will not be saying hi.
[00:01:34] Speaker A: So bitches, I watch Charlie's Angels. This is why I'm doing this to you.
Why don't you guys introduce yourselves and like just yourselves, not what you're playing so that way we can have this and let everybody know who you are, where we can find you. I rather do this in the beginning for this specific case. You know, just to make it a little bit easier.
Should I popcorn it? Should I go I'll popcorn it. Let's start with with you, Aubrey the player.
[00:02:13] Speaker D: So yeah, I'm Aubrey. You usually hear me running these games. You can find me everywhere on the Internet at Aubrey Vicarian. And yeah, it's going to be nice to have break from the GM seat.
[00:02:25] Speaker E: Hello. Hello. I'm the next person you see on your screen. Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them.
You can find me online at a disasterqueer. By online I mean blueskyor itch IO buy my games.
[00:02:42] Speaker B: Hello, I'm Sparlock. I will be playing my usual tiny characters. Of course I use he, him pronouns.
[00:02:53] Speaker F: Hey, everybody, I'm Mandy. Or the Mandy all over the Internet. You can usually find me on Wednesdays playing D and D with Aki and Alyssa. So that's, that's usually where you can find me.
That's it. Pronouns, they, any.
[00:03:10] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they, them, pronouns.
I'm usually here at golfs and gays.
You can also find me online at Dust E. Hill. Anywhere that matters.
You can find me also writing games at from dust to dice Itch IO very queer, very gay.
[00:03:31] Speaker G: Kiss me, Ferris. Hello. I use she, her pronouns and you can find me at eferisgames. Hio. And if you find me anywhere else.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: No, you did it.
You awaken in darkness, embraced by the hard cold earth.
It surrounds you, swallowing you whole.
You look at your hands and are unsure who they truly belong to.
You maybe.
We'll see.
Yeah. Okay, let's start with Korra Kora.
[00:04:15] Speaker F: You
[00:04:18] Speaker A: are awake.
That much you know.
You have a bag on your person. It's a U sized bag I should specify.
And you're pretty sure there's things in it.
And lastly, your Hands are sticky.
Actually, based on your size, all of you is sticky. You are sticky, Cora.
[00:04:44] Speaker E: I don't enjoy that.
Anything to look. Are there puddles? Is there anything to look at
[00:04:53] Speaker A: based on what you are?
You see, you have low light vision, so you don't really get to see color right now.
You do have, I believe you have what, six fingers?
[00:05:12] Speaker E: Six fingers, both hands.
[00:05:13] Speaker A: Not in total six fingers, both hands. Yes.
They look quite small, but like quite normal.
So small is normal to you.
You're covered in something. But in terms of your clothes, you
[00:05:30] Speaker D: have
[00:05:33] Speaker A: appropriately fancy clothing.
At least you think it's fancy. You think it's rather nice, actually.
[00:05:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:43] Speaker E: I thinkora looks down at their clothes, at the stickiness, and sort of instinctively, perhaps, if it works, attempts to clean themselves off.
[00:06:02] Speaker A: What does it feel like for you to conjure magic?
[00:06:08] Speaker E: Korra is a sprite. I think that's easy enough to tell. Even without a mirror.
[00:06:14] Speaker A: There are
[00:06:17] Speaker E: feathered wings on their back.
As they looked down at their clothes, they could see the sort of turquoise blue equine legs that they have.
And so magic is very much a part of her being and it's natural. It's just like breathing to like. It's just a slight warm flush running through their body, through their veins, as they conjure it up to get rid of some of the stickiness.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: Actually something that kind of comes to mind as you, as you do this is, yes, you are a sprite. You have always been a sprite.
Being a sprite is actually quite unique.
[00:07:12] Speaker H: You see, sprites are unique beings of raw magic mixed with nature and the creativity of their creator. Every God, no matter how powerful, can create a sprite.
Sprites are also based in the law of manifestation, as decreed. With enough intent and belief, a sprite may form into existence by pretty much anything and anyone.
And perhaps it is because of this chaos that sprites cannot reproduce naturally.
Pseudo immortality over children seems like a fair deal.
[00:07:45] Speaker A: So the rawness of your magic is quite literally your entire fucking being.
And magic isn't hard for you. Magic has never been hard for you. Getting this thing, slime stickiness off of you is incredibly difficult and requires the equivalent of you spamming the spell on yourself you can cast.
Excuse me, prestigitation.
That is a cantrip that you know, and it takes a while.
It is the equivalent of seeing a light in the distance flash on and off.
Your light being somewhat blue in color, though being a sprite, you can kind of do whatever you want with those colors. That much you also understand.
But as this Light kind of keeps beaming. You realize that you also have wings.
Yeah.
[00:08:46] Speaker E: I think that as we sort of get through cleaning parts of their body, of their clothes, she'll try testing them to see like, can I fly? Is that. Did I fly and fall? And that's why I'm covered in whatever it is that I'm covered in.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: Flap your wings. Your wings.
Now, the fun part about being a sprite is that the manifestation of your wings doesn't necessarily mean that you can fly.
Actually, a lot of sprites have to adapt to walking. We're talking Barbie Fairytopia, where Alita was the only one born without wings.
You, however, can fly. Hell yeah.
You have evanescent wings, the first level ancestry feet. So you have a fly speed of roughly 15ft.
And it's like the weak wings. And in this case your weakness, you can say, is because of how sticky it still is. You've gotten most of this stuff out, but it's sort of like when you wash your hands after touching maybe oil, it's like it's still feels like it's there. It's kind of just like you need time at this point to get this grossness off. But your wings feel quite stiff
[00:10:14] Speaker D: and
[00:10:15] Speaker A: so you might need to stretch them out some more. You can fly though. And the higher you go, the more you realize that this is a big cave.
[00:10:28] Speaker E: Great.
I don't know how I got here or why, but looking at my clothes, it seems like maybe not the type of place that I would like to frequent.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: Baby, perhaps.
Do you look at your bag at all?
[00:10:48] Speaker E: Yeah, I think that having cleaned off my hands as well as I can, I will open up the bag and take a look inside, see if there's anything that will strike some sort of understanding.
[00:11:02] Speaker A: You take a look at your things and you will find that you have extra clothing.
You're currently wearing explorers clothing, but you have an extra set of even fancier ones. You realize that you have very good taste.
You have a staff, which the staff was kind of on the floor and you're recognizing it as a staff and not like a stick or just a thing that was there.
You have two mysterious potions, a lovely, lovely, beautiful shawl and a lot of cash.
About 102 gold pieces and then two not you sized gold necklaces.
Sorry, the, the shawl in particular is. It's got this beautiful gradient thing going on. You're not sure what the colors are exactly yet you're fairly certain it's a little sparkly and that much you can, you can kind of tell with this level of light and this level of your eyes adjusting and
[00:12:19] Speaker E: yeah, I think I don't want to get it dirty and so I will pack the shawl, back away, sort of nestle it around the potions and pick up the staff and pick up the bag and start making my way through this cave trying to find an exit.
[00:12:42] Speaker A: Do you choose to fly or walk?
[00:12:46] Speaker E: I will fly. My wings need a stretch and I don't want dirt on my feet or hose I guess as it were.
[00:12:55] Speaker A: It's a. Yeah, it's a good choice too as you are able to kind of notice that the surface area seems to be for a lack of better terms, swimming in this stuff.
It's probably a swim for you. You are the size of a human thumb, roughly maybe a little bit bigger than that because of the. Of the horsey parts. But it's. That's still like what? That's a tiny figurine. That's a funko pop.
You're a funko pop.
It's swimming in this stuff, in this gross stuff.
And we'll just move on from you. Actually we will cut. We're going from you to. You know, the camera doesn't really pan away in terms of height as we're moving on to yet another rather tiny specific being.
Compy.
Yes, Compy. Your claws are so sticky.
All of you. Is. Is rather sticky.
[00:14:07] Speaker G: Gotta give a like a dog shake.
Try to spell.
[00:14:14] Speaker A: It's rather thick so you know, it smells pretty good.
[00:14:20] Speaker G: Oh, I'm gonna lick it.
[00:14:25] Speaker A: Are you gonna lick it? Yeah, just.
It tastes really good actually.
You're hungry and you're thirsty and this is, this is hitting that spot.
[00:14:42] Speaker C: Ah.
[00:14:43] Speaker G: Does it taste like something I know?
[00:14:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah, it does actually.
You see.
What's your favorite food? You can, you can tell me because you know now because you've tasted it.
[00:14:58] Speaker G: Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh huh. Pudding.
[00:15:02] Speaker A: Pudding tastes exactly like pudding. In fact, it tastes like the best pudding you've ever had. This might be better. Yeah, this is pudding. You're in pudding. You're actually covered in pudding. Pudding that's really hydrating pudding that's also making you like.
Well, it's hitting the spot where you're full but you're pretty sure you need to eat more to feel anything else.
[00:15:24] Speaker G: Well, you know, I have, I have a sense in my brain that feels like perhaps almost a memory but also just like an instinct that I feel like I come from a family that knows how to keep themselves clean. So I'm just gonna start licking it Off.
Very cat like.
[00:15:50] Speaker A: Yep. Are you not going to stop until you've licked all of it off?
[00:15:55] Speaker G: I mean, who wants to be sticky?
[00:15:58] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. We have standards too.
[00:16:02] Speaker G: And it is so tasty.
[00:16:05] Speaker A: Yeah, no, you're, you're absolutely correct because you, you, you do have. You, you shouldn't be, you know, gross and sticky and you clearly you're covered in pudding, so it's going to take a while.
In fact, I think you'd be able to tell that you are a dragonet.
You actually should have dark vision entirely. So you're, you're having a. You can, you can see exactly what you look like. So why don't you tell me what you look like as you are licking this pudding off this cave pudding?
[00:16:37] Speaker G: Yes. I think I get a pretty good view of oneself as I am quite flexible and long. I'm long and thin and tenderly like a ribbon.
Like a snake. With arms like Drippy from Pokemon, but prettier.
A right sized head but just like a hair too large.
And I have these wings that are almost.
They have like a translucent quality to them that I suspect in the light would look very pretty as light shines through them. I suspect the light would look quite pretty shining through most of me.
There's a teal, the, the belly scale seem teal, like a very pale, almost sea glass teal. And then the, the outer scales are, they're looking to be much darker teal.
Almost, almost getting into not turquoise, but just very dark teal. And I have these little fins or maybe they're horns. It's hard to tell that come up off my head and I have these long slim little arms and this long slim little body and a tail that's twice the size of me.
And I have something of like a, I don't know, like a mane, a little tuft, A little tuft of fur.
It's great.
[00:18:04] Speaker A: I look great.
[00:18:05] Speaker G: I'm awesome.
[00:18:07] Speaker A: Yeah, no, you are awesome. You do look great.
I'm just looking for something really quickly.
[00:18:15] Speaker G: I feel so flexible.
[00:18:17] Speaker A: You're rather flexible actually. You're quite, you're quite wiggly as one would say.
[00:18:26] Speaker D: However,
[00:18:28] Speaker A: roll a D4.
[00:18:30] Speaker G: A D4?
[00:18:31] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:18:33] Speaker G: My itty bitty D4 to go with my itty bitty self.
[00:18:37] Speaker A: It's a two.
It's a two. You take two piercing damage as you, you, you see you also have very razor sharp teeth. Oh, you're a Dr. You're a dragon and you're licking. Yeah, exactly. You know. So okay to nip yourself a little bit you totally nip yourself while cleaning all of this off. But you know, you do clean all of it off and you have it in your little belly.
[00:19:02] Speaker G: Yeah, that's where it should be.
[00:19:05] Speaker C: Exactly.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: It's where pudding should be. Pudding should be in little bellies.
[00:19:10] Speaker G: Yes, you should have the pudding in the belly. And now it is a full belly. And I am realizing perhaps I'm confused and I don't know.
Wait a minute.
Where, where, where, where am I?
[00:19:28] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, you're confused all right. And actually you're not full at all.
Oh, you could use more, in fact. And wow, there's more on the floor and maybe on this rock. You think it's a rock, but there's more everywhere. So like, why don't you roll a D20?
[00:19:49] Speaker G: That would be a big OL3.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: Wow. And you're gonna keep eating because you're not full, you know, and there's just so much pudding around.
[00:20:00] Speaker G: Well, you know, pudding's pudding.
[00:20:03] Speaker A: Pudding is pudding.
[00:20:04] Speaker G: We may not be in a place where one can turn down free pudding.
[00:20:08] Speaker A: Nah, especially when it's free, you know, Never turn down good food. We're moving on now.
Camera actually pans up for once.
Goes across down deep tunnels. Dark tunnels.
Curio.
[00:20:29] Speaker F: Yes, curio.
[00:20:31] Speaker A: Your paws are sticky.
[00:20:34] Speaker F: Oh, that's unpleasant.
I, I want to see if I can.
I feel the urge to just dismiss it. Can I make it go away?
[00:20:53] Speaker A: Gosh, you could make a lot of things go away. That much you're pretty sure.
Now I have a question for you. You also, I believe, have six digits on your paws.
[00:21:06] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:21:07] Speaker A: Is it one or is it. Is it both paws?
[00:21:10] Speaker F: Both paws?
[00:21:12] Speaker A: Both paws, six digits.
[00:21:15] Speaker F: Yep.
[00:21:16] Speaker A: Covered in this slime.
The sticky, sticky slime.
You're pretty sure you can also use magic.
[00:21:29] Speaker D: You.
[00:21:29] Speaker A: It feels like you can pull something.
Would you like to pull it?
[00:21:36] Speaker F: Yeah, I think I would.
[00:21:41] Speaker A: You cast ignition. You have the ignition. Cantrip fire erupts from your paws.
But evidently enough, no smell of any burning fur or anything like that and you just burn this off. What does happen though is you hear a high pitched squealing noise. Sort of like when you like slowly let out the air of a balloon perhaps.
And that is the noise of the, the slime kind of bubbling off of you.
Not the most pleasant thing to your ears, but that is how you realize your ears can move down.
[00:22:25] Speaker F: Yeah, they're definitely flattened against my head in reaction to this high pitched sound. I don't like that.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: Your fire does provide light though. And you are also a low light vision person.
So the light now shows your, you know, your fur colors, your clothes, the rest of you.
[00:22:50] Speaker F: I kind of look around, less concerned about myself in the moment. Do I see anything nearby?
[00:23:02] Speaker A: Lots of rocks. At least you think they're rocks, but like otherwise this devoid space of total fucking darkness.
You can look up and you see it's more rocks. You're pretty sure you're maybe perhaps in a cave structure of. Of sorts or underground even.
You know, it's a lot, a lot of. Lot of nothing.
[00:23:27] Speaker F: Does it appear natural or man made?
[00:23:30] Speaker A: Oh, that's a very fun thing. Why don't you roll a D20?
[00:23:35] Speaker F: All right, we'll do.
That's a 10.
[00:23:41] Speaker A: You know, you're just not sure.
You, you, you are realizing you're not one for rocks.
You're not one for these, for these structures. You know, perhaps you did the mandatory grade nine geography, but like that's about it, you know, that's. That's a rock. These are rocks. They look like rocks.
At the very least, you know that they're. It's the same type of rock all over the place and more of that slime substance that, that is currently being burnt off of you.
[00:24:20] Speaker F: Oh, so it's all over the ground?
[00:24:25] Speaker A: It's like partially. Yeah, partially on the ground. Like this is something you're pretty sure you can sidestep, you know, but excellent. Yeah, it's quite a bit actually.
When you're thinking about it, you're like, oh, okay, all of it. Okay.
[00:24:44] Speaker F: Yeah. And I think as I'm having these realizations, okay, I'm underground. I don't know if this is man made or not.
There's sticky stuff everywhere and on my hands.
And finally I think, wait, what am I, what am I doing here? And I'm like looking down at myself. What do I have on me? And I'm patting myself down and you see a medium height catfolk individual with large round, bright green eyes that glint in the low light calico pattern of fur in various swirls and different colors all over.
And dark clothing, pants and boots and a vest of sorts that has pockets all over in it.
And I expect my, my backpack is on my back or is it next to me?
[00:25:44] Speaker A: I would say that it is on your back and thankfully not sticky.
[00:25:52] Speaker F: Oh, well, that's good. I'm going to root around inside.
[00:25:57] Speaker A: Yeah, you can, you can find a non sticky area to, you know, place it down and take stuff out. Do you, how much do you rummage through? You going to rummage through all of it?
[00:26:07] Speaker F: I think I'm just going to peek.
I'm not going to go through everything, especially in the slow light.
[00:26:15] Speaker A: So just based off of, like, you taking the time to kind of. At least you took the time to look at yourself. You can tell that you're wearing. You're wearing studded leather armor.
That's rather nice.
And you have a ring on. On your finger, one of your fingers.
Just make it a pointer. You have a ring on your pointer finger. Your equivalent. Your CAT equivalent. Yes, of the pointer.
And when you. When you take a look on.
At the peak in your bag, you also have this mysterious potion.
You have like a rope, a bag of something, another bag of something.
Like, they're like smaller bags. And a mace and a steel shield.
[00:27:10] Speaker F: A mace and a steel shield. Okay.
[00:27:13] Speaker A: The steel shield is actually on, like, on top, like outside of your bag. Like you put it there, like strapped
[00:27:19] Speaker F: to the outside of it.
[00:27:20] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And your mace for some reason was in the bag.
[00:27:30] Speaker G: Oh.
[00:27:30] Speaker A: And you have a coin in your pocket.
[00:27:33] Speaker F: What's on the coin?
[00:27:35] Speaker A: What's on this coin?
So it's a little hard to see, but you can. What you realize is you can call this fire kind of whenever you'd like. So if you want more light, you just. You pop. You poof it up, you know, and what you'll see.
[00:27:53] Speaker F: One digit and a little flame is at the tip of my nail.
[00:27:58] Speaker A: You see, you have a very good control over the fire is what you realize. This was nothing to, you know, this was.
Yeah, it was normal. You just did it. You thought about it and you did it.
You see, the coin is.
It is a. A thick silver coin and it is deeply worn on one of its sides. And it like to the point where it makes a. A noticeable dip in it.
[00:28:30] Speaker F: Like a worry stone.
[00:28:32] Speaker A: Yeah, but a coin.
[00:28:39] Speaker F: What's the other face have on it?
[00:28:42] Speaker A: The other face has a.
Has like a flower on it.
[00:28:52] Speaker F: Got it.
[00:28:56] Speaker A: Do you rub the coin?
[00:28:58] Speaker F: I do.
It feels right.
[00:29:03] Speaker A: That's amazing.
[00:29:04] Speaker G: Cool.
[00:29:05] Speaker A: Do me a favor and do roll a D12.
[00:29:10] Speaker F: A D12?
[00:29:11] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:29:12] Speaker F: Okay, that's a five.
[00:29:19] Speaker A: Jesus Christ.
[00:29:21] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:29:22] Speaker E: Yeah, sure.
[00:29:23] Speaker A: This will be the one you get.
So you, you rub. You rub the side that has the
[00:29:29] Speaker G: divot
[00:29:31] Speaker A: and it activates two things.
One, you are filled with this sense of comfort and safety.
Mechanically, you reduce the frightened condition by one.
And you can use this once per hour. This is the coin of the. Of comfort that you have. That is an item that, that you have at least in your pocket.
Two, you remember something.
Now the thing that you're about to remember is, for example, why you have the coin. Not necessarily like the coin. The coin did this. Okay.
In your mind's eye, you see, you see water dark and deep and blue and green. And you see, you feel yourself being dunked in and out and in and out and in and in and in and in.
And you're drowning and you're choking and you're fighting and, oh, my God, you're so fucking useless when you try to fight this.
And then you get pulled up. You get pulled up when your vision starts to essentially go a little cross side. It's already blurry because you were in water, but now it's blurry for a different reason. You're pulled out of it.
You're heaving, you're breathing, you're spitting, you're coughing.
And this very large figure
[00:31:19] Speaker E: is
[00:31:22] Speaker A: killing somebody.
You're pretty sure they're killing somebody.
Somebody that you were supposed to kill.
And you distinctively remember that you did a bad thing and you were punished for that.
And so now the coin kind of helps you out, actually, because remembering being almost drowned kind of sucks.
[00:31:50] Speaker F: Yeah. I think in order to. I think the moment that curio starts to feel this rising panic, immediately in response, touches the coin.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: And the coin does its job in soothing you. This is a good coin.
[00:32:14] Speaker F: Yeah. I'm keeping this thing.
[00:32:15] Speaker A: Yeah. You feel a little. I wouldn't say you feel dependent on it, but you understand why it's worn out on one side.
[00:32:22] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:32:23] Speaker A: Now that you have your coin, now that you know what's in your pack and I'm assuming you're gonna keep the shield and mace on you.
[00:32:31] Speaker F: Oh, definitely. Yeah. I don't. I don't know where I am or why. And I'm also realizing in this moment, I don't know who I am or why I'm here.
And that's kind of freaky. But I can't really worry about that if I'm stuck in a cave. So.
[00:32:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:54] Speaker F: Yeah. I'm gonna slowly, I guess, start to move or try to see if I can catch any whiff of fresh air or water or anything like that.
[00:33:13] Speaker A: You continue down, we're going to say a direction just because it's just a big vast of nothing, you know, And. And we're gonna move. We're gonna move.
Let's go to Joe.
[00:33:29] Speaker D: Your.
[00:33:30] Speaker A: Your hands are sticky.
Don't.
[00:33:37] Speaker C: I think it's.
They look at their hands and it's more of like an inconvenience than like, disgust.
Like, could they.
Could they actually see their hands Could Joe see their hands?
[00:34:00] Speaker A: That's an excellent question.
You are also a low light visioned individual. So yeah, kind of color is really difficult.
[00:34:14] Speaker C: I think they try to like look around and like could quickly realize that they're somewhere dark, somewhere with very little light, probably surrounded by earth. So a cave of some sort.
And I don't know they do they have anything on their person or you
[00:34:36] Speaker A: have a bag, you have a, like a, like a, like a messenger bag kind of around you.
[00:34:46] Speaker C: Okay.
They're going to like notice that. But like clearly they're not gonna touch with the sticky hands. They're gonna like kneel down and kind of like rub their hands on the ground in the dirt and then rub their hands together so it's actually easier to get all the sticky stuff off because it's not like gritty.
And when they, they spend time doing this, not in like in a rush or anything, but just like make sure their hands are not as sticky as they were.
They don't quite care for what it was.
And I guess we'll see if they have any source of light or anything in this bag or something. Try to figure out where they are or why they're here. Are anything. Cuz I assume Joe don't know.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: Joe, Joe, you do not know. You are correct in that you don't know you. Are you taking your time to go through this bag of yours that's on you?
[00:35:53] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean if it's on me, I, I, I will take it off. Like at first I'm searching for like any sort of like thing that could produce light. And then we'll, if I could find something like that, we'll take inventory of what's there methodically.
[00:36:07] Speaker A: Okay.
I, based off of that I'm about to dump on you and this is going to be funny.
So first of all, as you're digging through your bag, you begin to understand that this bag is seemingly bottomless.
It's just this is so much more depth than a chill messenger bag should be. So you have a smuggler sack. Type two this bitch. Yeah, type two this bitch. Deep is what you're realizing and I think you're able to kind of discern that much.
You pull out, you pull out some leather armor which you can choose to put on if you wish. As you're, you're kind of like the wearing the equivalent of normal people clothing, you know, like you're just wearing a fit and very chill, very casual that you can kind of tell. Very unassuming.
And then you have your standard basic Leather armor.
You find one gun, you find a second gun.
You do find that you have quite a bit of ammunition, which if you took the time to look at the types of ammunition you, you could do that.
You have a, a bag of roughly 20 gold pieces. You're pretty sure these are gold. You're pretty sure you know what these gold pieces look like.
And lastly, you pull out a whole arm.
[00:37:56] Speaker C: Sorry to clarification, please.
What, how many different kinds of ammunition do I have actually?
[00:38:03] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. Let's go to ammunition first. So because you're, you're taking the time. I'm hearing that you're taking the time, you see.
[00:38:09] Speaker C: No, I'm being very methodical. They're actually organizing it. It's like an autistic child and all their.
[00:38:15] Speaker A: Yeah, of course, of course, of course. So you have about 20 rounds of regular ammunition.
You have about 10 rounds of the trustworthy rounds.
You have only one of the spell strike ammunition, type 3. You find casings of what potentially you had more. And then the casings maybe fell into your pocket or they fell into the bag. So you're aware that you had more. And you, you're just down to one of these big boys left and you have three beacon shots.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: Okay. Okay, great.
[00:38:59] Speaker A: Do you take the time to check out the guns at all?
[00:39:06] Speaker C: I will put the ammo away. It's like, do I have. Does this like leather gear or anything? Have like a bandolier or anything?
[00:39:17] Speaker A: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would say you have a, like a bandolier to put your things. I would say that they were in the bandolier and just a little bit jostled like the bandolier was in your bag. So you just gotta. And you know you're taking all the stuff out of your bag, so you're just able to, to find, you know, like. Oh, it's the equivalent of like when you have receipts and then you shove them in your bag and you're like, this is from two years ago.
[00:39:40] Speaker C: Ah, yes, yes, yes.
[00:39:42] Speaker A: It's like that you're real. Yeah, you're. You're kind of cleaning out your bag a little bit properly.
You do have two guns and they look very different.
[00:39:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I think we're going through. Just before they go further, I just want to check could they tell if they're like, in any danger or do they just like, know that they're just dumped here?
I guess so.
[00:40:05] Speaker A: What you've noticed, and I'm gonna give this one to you for free, is that you, you can multitask and Be on high alert at the same time, you are constantly aware of your surroundings. In fact, I would say that you saw around in the corner, you could tell that there was some form of light being turned on and off and on and off, like a Spam did. That was far away though. Like you're aware something is happening over there and not getting any closer to you.
[00:40:43] Speaker C: Okay, I think then Joe will start putting a lot of the stuff on while being on alert before, like taking closer attention to the gun. So they're gonna put on the leather gear, they're gonna sew away the stuff. They're gonna look at the arm for later.
Yeah, it's probably important, but it's an army. I don't know.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: Yeah, no, it's a whole arm. It's, it's. I would say it is a humanoid arm, about a medium sized creature arm.
[00:41:10] Speaker C: Is it, it's organic. It's like, it's not like, oh, it smells organic.
[00:41:16] Speaker B: All right.
[00:41:16] Speaker A: Yeah, it's kind of, it's kind of stinky right now. You know, it's. It's not doing too good.
It's a stinky arm. Yeah, but it's a whole arm. Yeah.
It's not your arm, by the way. It's not your arm. You're, you're, you. You can look at yourself. You have a, I would say a human's amount of appendages, an average human's amount. So that's not your arm.
Average human arms. Yeah.
[00:41:41] Speaker C: They're already well armed with two guns. So they're going to put this arm in the bag.
And while they are.
Sorry, I couldn't. Straight face.
Okay. While they're going to now examine this guns both like to make sure they don't need any maintenance.
And like, instinctively is like, definitely handling them with extreme, like, skill and depth and like dexterity. But they want to check them out, make sure like, they're loaded or if they should load while also looking out from wherever this light's going to be.
[00:42:18] Speaker A: I will say that both your guns are loaded.
And from what you can tell, one gun is a pepper box with many false barrels.
You can tell.
You can tell. Actually only four of them shoot properly.
[00:42:42] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:42:44] Speaker A: And for you, Desi, this is the liar's gun.
[00:42:50] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:42:50] Speaker A: And I loaded you up, don't worry. And the other gun is a dagger pistol. And it does indeed have the equivalent of an Assassin's Creed dagger in it. It's very. It looks, it was purposely made to look more inconspicuous.
[00:43:12] Speaker C: See?
[00:43:13] Speaker F: Okay,
[00:43:16] Speaker C: great.
There I, I can Only imagine like the dagger pistol kind of like goes on like, like a sturdy glove.
So they are going to slip that one on and like make sure the liar is gone. Artist pepper box gun is loaded and will gather everything up. And do they find a light source, a torch or anything at all or.
[00:43:46] Speaker A: No, no, no. No light source for you, sadly. But you are aware of something.
A light was being spammed of sorts in a direction. It wasn't going anywhere near you. It stopped now.
But you can also just wander.
[00:44:09] Speaker C: Yeah, I think they have no means of like looking at themselves.
They're going to start kind of like cautiously moving around, trying to make as like little sound as possible.
[00:44:25] Speaker A: That sounds amazing.
And we'll just move on from you as you also venture into darkness.
Let's go to Shrike.
Yes, Shrike.
Same logic. Hands sticky.
This ain't fun.
[00:44:47] Speaker D: Yeah. How much do I see when I wake up?
[00:44:50] Speaker A: Hilariously, you too are a low light vision individual.
[00:44:59] Speaker C: You
[00:45:01] Speaker G: like?
[00:45:01] Speaker A: I like.
[00:45:02] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:45:02] Speaker A: Color is hard, light is harder.
But you, you can kind of see a little bit. Your eyes can adjust to this?
[00:45:12] Speaker D: Yeah, I blink several times just trying to get my eyes to adjust to the darkness and figure out what's going on.
I immediately try and search, like my brain and what was the last thing I remember? Probably nothing.
[00:45:32] Speaker A: You can roll a D20.
[00:45:34] Speaker D: That is a 15.
[00:45:36] Speaker A: Oh, you okay, this is hilarious. Roll a D12.
[00:45:42] Speaker D: Seven.
[00:45:44] Speaker A: Don't remember much. In fact, you kind of find your brain is not you. You're aware that your brain is not going to. What do I remember? What do I remember last doing? You distinctively remember a feeling, though.
You remember an adversary of some sort, a challenge of some sort. And you understand that when shit looks bleak, that does not phase you. If the odds are not in your favor, you don't give a.
And so rather than feeling, I mean, you can still feel a little confused, but like you don't feel scared in this moment. You don't necessarily feel lost even you feel, I would reckon, pissed off.
Like this has.
This is annoying.
What a situation to be in. You don't know where you are, who you are.
Like, what a cliche. Amnesia is a cliche.
[00:46:51] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:46:52] Speaker A: And it's. It's kind of pissing you off a little bit. But at the very least you kind of understand your personality, maybe a part of it.
[00:47:02] Speaker D: I am going to take stock of me, what I have. Where am I, as I kind of sit up and look around, try to orient myself in the space.
If I have a bag, I'm gonna Pull it off and figure out what I am carrying with me.
[00:47:22] Speaker A: How much time would you say you're dedicating to doing this?
[00:47:27] Speaker D: Five, six minutes.
[00:47:29] Speaker A: Five, six minutes. Ooh, I like that.
So you, you do have a bag like everybody else. You have like a backpack of some sorts and you can kind of check yourself. You are wearing chain mail armor.
It feels like chain mail.
[00:47:50] Speaker C: You.
[00:47:50] Speaker A: You, you know what chainmail feels like. So it's. It also doesn't. You feel a little bit tired now that you. You realize perhaps you've been wishing wearing this for a while. Perhaps you've been asleep for a while or down here for a while because you know, like, you're used to. You think you're used to wearing this?
[00:48:11] Speaker G: You should be.
[00:48:12] Speaker H: It's heavy.
[00:48:14] Speaker A: But to feel a little tired is different.
No, no. You said you're dedicating five, six minutes to taking things out of your bag. So I think you can get through most. I think you can get through all of it. You have with you.
You have a bag of gold. If you choose to open it, you can count roughly 15 pieces of it. And you're also quite aware of what gold feels like. The shape of a gold piece is different from the shape of a silver or copper.
And the feeling, the texture, the vibe.
You have a warhammer, like a. Like a one.
One armed kind of one. Like in terms of size.
You have a book.
It looks.
It looks well used.
You cannot read it right now. It's simply too dark.
You have a symbol of some sort. When you hold it and you touch around it, you can't determine what it is, but it is the. Perhaps like it fits the size of your palm. So you can put your whole palm kind of around it.
You have a metal medallion type of thing. You can feel that it's on some type of ribbon or fabric or something like that.
You also cannot tell what it is. You cannot make out the details. And lastly, you got a big fucking scythe.
[00:49:52] Speaker D: Big fucking scythe?
[00:49:53] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:49:54] Speaker A: You're like, oh, that's my big fucking scythe. That's the thing you remember.
Oh, that. That's mine.
Yes. Bfs, if you will.
[00:50:03] Speaker D: Yes, if you will.
Do I notice anything as I'm doing this about how I'm dressed? You said chain mail.
Anything about my appearance that I feel like I should be aware of?
[00:50:23] Speaker A: Well, clearly you weren't here for Lesher, is. Is what I would say. You are dressed like you were here to do something. You are just like you are dressed like you were here to do something.
And perhaps mean seems very methodical. I will say, though, any form of rations that you have is gone.
It was clearly there.
It was. You clearly came prepared that much because it would not make sense for you to go on a journey and not prepare some form of nourishment. But here it is gone.
[00:51:09] Speaker D: As I.
Slowly take stock of everything, repack it quickly in my bag, throw that over my shoulder, and slowly stand up. You.
I imagine I'm very sticky.
[00:51:31] Speaker A: Yes, you're sticky.
Your hands, hella sticky, which I think you rubbed off. But, like, your legs are sticky shoes. Like, you're. You were kind of in it, per se. Your bag, thankfully, is not.
But like the rest of you kind of is. It's like, oh, this is not. This is probably worse. You're wearing metal armor.
[00:51:56] Speaker D: Going to have to really clean that.
[00:51:59] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:52:00] Speaker A: It smells good, though.
[00:52:04] Speaker D: That's good to know.
[00:52:06] Speaker A: Say, are you hungry or thirsty?
[00:52:10] Speaker D: Don't think I am. I think I'm a little bit more focused on what's going on. Where am I finding somewhere with a better source of light to take stock of everything that's going on a little bit better.
Finding out if there's anybody else here to really pay attention to what my body needs.
I feel like I'm used to pushing myself quite a bit and going long periods without eating or drinking.
[00:52:46] Speaker A: Well, I will just say what your body needs is a little bev.
[00:52:51] Speaker G: A little.
[00:52:51] Speaker A: Little snack.
But you are used to pushing yourself. So you can push yourself. You can keep walking, you can keep going. But you are kind of thinking, oh, gosh, you really are thinking about it. Since this cave is covered seemingly in this slime, and this slime is still kind of technically on you, it's a nice, overwhelming smell.
[00:53:15] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:53:18] Speaker A: And we'll move on.
[00:53:19] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:53:20] Speaker A: Let's go. Camera's gonna pan up. Camera's gonna keep panning up. It pans so far up that we reach our next guy.
Tic Tac.
On the contrary, your hands are not that sticky. It's your head and your shoulders sticky.
[00:53:44] Speaker B: That's the worst feeling.
I am glad I'm gonna go with that picture and just be glad I don't have. Wait, I don't have much hair.
[00:53:54] Speaker A: No, you're bald, my guy.
[00:53:56] Speaker B: I don't have hair.
[00:53:58] Speaker A: You don't have hair?
[00:53:59] Speaker B: I never have hair.
[00:54:01] Speaker A: Oh, did you ever have hair?
[00:54:05] Speaker B: Now it's on my hands.
[00:54:07] Speaker A: Now it's on your hands. This is crazy. What a time.
As you reminisce about did you ever have hair?
And realizing it's on Your hands. You do have a bag, a U sized bag which is fairly large.
So you're quite aware of your, of your size. Relatively normal to you, but, but like normal in the sense that when you're really tall you can kind of feel when things aren't made for tall people.
And in this case, this cave was made for tall people.
[00:54:42] Speaker B: That is good to know.
Yeah. So I rub my hands on my pants, I'm guessing like as I look down and see what I'm wearing or not see as the case may be.
[00:55:03] Speaker A: Well, you two are a low light visioned individual. The rest, oh, most of you are literally, it's just one of you. Only one of you has dark vision. The rest of you all had low light. And I thought that was funny.
[00:55:18] Speaker D: The
[00:55:20] Speaker A: clothes that you're wearing, you're so you, you like see it and in your head you're like leather armor. Like Bing. Immediately you know what you're wearing.
[00:55:32] Speaker B: Why was I wearing armor in this cave? I don't see any creatures of any sort. I'll take a look at my bag or who I assume to be my bag. I don't remember to call.
[00:55:49] Speaker A: Would you say you're taking the time to look through it or are you trying to. Are you doing this quickly? Doing this?
How you doing this?
[00:55:59] Speaker B: I'm not taking a huge amount of time.
I'm wearing armor so there must be some sort of danger around.
But I also need to take stock of what's going on around me and what my resources are.
[00:56:17] Speaker A: So you can clearly tell that you are some form of adventurer. So you have the adventurers pack. Like you have all of that with you. Also you're actively carrying all of that. Along with that you have this thick leather bound book.
And instinctively you know that this is important to you.
You like, like you see it and you, and you put it back immediately because it's like, I don't want to get slime on this. And then you, then you realize that is what you did. Like you didn't get slime on it, but like that's how you felt.
You also have a bag of coins, potentially money.
And you have, you have a long sword, you have several arrows and, and you do have a long bow, but your long bow is broken.
Perhaps you fell on it.
[00:57:16] Speaker B: Do I feel like it's something I could repair?
[00:57:20] Speaker A: Yes, yes you do in fact.
So being Jotun born, you have these white streaks of thread in your skin. Skin. And they also produce a dim light.
They are called Ilvar weaving.
And so kind of as you take a look at your bow, your skin begins to glow in this very specific pattern and the thread kind of pulls from your skin around the bow mending it. You have the feet caretakers restoration so you can repair like shields and, and in this case you can, you can repair your bow. And I will say that it is.
[00:58:17] Speaker G: Thanks.
[00:58:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Just for, just for now. Probably more complicated in
[00:58:27] Speaker H: rules.
[00:58:28] Speaker A: Yeah. I would say like, I would say that it's like the way that because there's light like emitting from you, you, you admit specifically here it is a 10 foot emanation of dim light which you can also like, you can turn it off, turn it on and supposedly adjust the color to whatever you'd like.
But with that like you can kind of tell that you've. You've clearly done this before to this specific bow because there's multiple like threads wrapped around it that look like they've been there over time.
Like, like this a bow that you don't, you just don't want to throw out type of situation.
[00:59:17] Speaker B: It's like that Japanese. I think it's Japanese art of like doing pottery and gold.
[00:59:25] Speaker A: Yeah. Kinsu Corey or something like that.
[00:59:29] Speaker B: Excellent.
[00:59:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:59:33] Speaker B: I.
So I very carefully strapped the bow on my back. Not quite as careful as I was with the.
As I was with the book because this is, this is a tool. This isn't necessarily something that is so precious in that way except in a more useful way. Kind of like a nice work truck or car.
Was there anything else that I noticed in the bag as I'm going through it?
[01:00:09] Speaker A: You have several, several different forms of arrows which you would have to take the time to look at them to know what they are individually. But you can tell that you have like 20 regular arrows and then just a bunch of different arrows as well.
And they're kind of. You kind of piled them up neatly. Your, your quiver kind of has one of those really fun things where it's like divided and you just kept them nicely.
[01:00:42] Speaker B: So I will kind of track where each individual arrow is, but I'm like, this is something that I can look at as I move around because how did I end up here? This doesn't bode well.
And I will look around me and
[01:01:03] Speaker D: see
[01:01:06] Speaker B: does it seem like I. So it's only on my shoulders.
So I wasn't like laying down in all of this.
I guess I was just kind of sitting down against the wall.
[01:01:19] Speaker A: Yeah, you were kind of sitting. But I think, you know, like maybe you hit the wall hard and that's how you crack the bow like the bow cracked on your back type of thing.
You would have slime on your butts
[01:01:32] Speaker B: even before I wiped my hands on it. Before working with my bag, I try not to think about my butt slime.
[01:01:41] Speaker A: This place is hell. This place is hell.
And as you. As you move one squish at a time, we're gonna. We're just gonna quickly go back to compy.
Yes, compy.
Yes, yes, yes, compy. You were hungry.
[01:02:05] Speaker G: Yeah.
[01:02:07] Speaker A: So I have a question for you.
[01:02:12] Speaker G: Yeah.
[01:02:13] Speaker A: At any. Any point of time, would you have tried to stop?
[01:02:17] Speaker H: Yeah.
[01:02:19] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:02:19] Speaker G: One mustn't be a glutton.
[01:02:22] Speaker A: One mustn't be a glutton.
Decide to stop.
And I mean, like, really stop.
You hear in your head a voice.
[01:02:39] Speaker G: Open your bag.
Look deep inside.
[01:02:44] Speaker F: Touch her walls.
[01:02:47] Speaker A: And you're gonna open your bag and you're going to take the time to look through the entire bag.
[01:02:54] Speaker F: Okay?
Yeah.
[01:02:56] Speaker A: You look in your bag, you notice one.
You have scale mail.
The scale mail matches you, but, like, in a fun way where it's like, this is a beautiful gradient.
You have a bladed scarf.
The scarf is a little bit bigger than you.
And then you have a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny dagger.
The equivalent of in puss and boots. The last wish. The Kakito blade. Tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny blade.
[01:03:42] Speaker G: It's.
[01:03:42] Speaker A: When you hold it, the blade is barely bigger. Tiny blade.
You also have an adventurer's pack, like you were prepared to go somewhere. You have four books that you can't make out the titles of. But you see the books and you feel so comforted that you have them.
You also have this doodad that's bigger than you, it looks like. I mean, it requires both of your hands to use. And, like, you gotta hold it like this. Like. Like with your whole. With your whole chest.
[01:04:21] Speaker G: Okay.
[01:04:22] Speaker A: And it's.
It's really cool. It opens up. And when it opens up, you see that there's a really pretty stone inside.
Actually, you have so many pretty stones with you. They're all different colors. They do like. You can tell that they do different things. You look at them and you're like, oh, yeah, this is my shit. These are my stones. And that's my. That's my other stone that I put in this thing. And it opens up like a compact, by the way. And you're just like. You're just like. You're like, oh, and these are my things. And those are my things. And then you also notice that your sleeves, which you have sleeves, by the way, like, regular sleeves can Put shit in them.
[01:05:07] Speaker G: Yes.
[01:05:08] Speaker A: Yeah. You have the sleeves of storage, the. The lesser sleeves of storage, which you could put everything into your sleeves. And it doesn't make you look bulky. It doesn't feel heavy. It's kind of cool. You're kind of cool.
Of course, naturally. Yeah, naturally. Yeah, yeah. You're like. You're like. You're kind of really living this here. Oh, and you have a small bag.
You have two small bags. One of them has coins, because you know what coins are, and the other one has hair.
[01:05:43] Speaker G: Oh, any particular type of hair?
[01:05:47] Speaker A: Oh, you don't know, but you just know that it's, like, really fancy, and you don't want to get your sticky, spit, slime fingers on them because it's like, this is important.
No, not a. Not wig. Just hair. Like.
[01:06:01] Speaker G: Like.
[01:06:01] Speaker A: Like you went up to somebody who
[01:06:03] Speaker G: just went, okay, just checking.
[01:06:05] Speaker A: Yeah, it's just hair, but, like, very fancy hair, very nice hair. And you know that it's for something. You know that you. You can use it for something.
And you. You just. You just can't put your. Your.
[01:06:17] Speaker F: Your.
[01:06:17] Speaker A: Your.
[01:06:18] Speaker F: Your.
[01:06:18] Speaker A: Your. Your finger to your memory, to your brain, to your mouth on it. You just. You're just like, oh, I. I know what it does, but I don't want to assume or presume or presume or assume, you know, And like, you know, you probably don't even. You're taking so much time out of your day to, like, do all of this.
I mean, you just ate. You could eat again, but. But, but. But this is where the whole party convenes.
Y' all were walking.
Some of you have light, some of you do not have light, but you do, in fact, see a tiny dragon on the floor covered in slime, taking out things from their bag and sleeves and then covering them with slime.
[01:07:12] Speaker G: All that licking it for what?
[01:07:15] Speaker A: Yeah, all that licking it for what? I mean, but, like, also, you could. You could eat.
[01:07:20] Speaker G: No, no, no. One must share good desserts.
[01:07:24] Speaker A: One must share good desserts. And compy. There are people that you can share this with.
[01:07:31] Speaker G: Friends or enemies or perhaps beneficial rivals.
What a pleasure to meet you all here in this place.
Have you partaken of the pudding?
[01:07:45] Speaker D: The words
[01:07:48] Speaker B: pudding.
[01:07:49] Speaker G: It has the same substance and the flavor profile as a delicious pudding, and the texture and mouth feel also quite similar.
[01:08:04] Speaker B: I sniff the slime.
[01:08:06] Speaker G: I blink one eye, and then the other eye.
[01:08:11] Speaker A: What's your. What's your favorite food?
[01:08:12] Speaker H: You.
[01:08:13] Speaker A: You instantly remember your favorite food.
Tic tac.
So this is. It smells like the bison. Like Bison meat. Like, the juices from it.
And you know what this thing's like. You still have some slime on you, and you're, like, feeling the texture and. Oh, my God. It's the texture of meat.
[01:08:35] Speaker B: It's like.
[01:08:37] Speaker D: But
[01:08:40] Speaker B: smells. And it feels more like cooked meat than pudding.
[01:08:45] Speaker G: Oh, most curious.
Do. Do the rest of you see it in the same way? Is it meat or is it pudding?
It's pudding, but is it meat or is it pudding? Lick it.
[01:09:01] Speaker D: I'm good, thank you.
[01:09:04] Speaker G: Lick it.
[01:09:06] Speaker D: Does anyone know where we are?
[01:09:09] Speaker C: Okay, clearly, I want to be clear. Joe has.
Is still, like, a bit away. They are kind of watching this go down from, like, I don't know, 10, 15ft away.
Not necessarily hiding, but clearly, like, staying back to see what's happening.
[01:09:29] Speaker F: Yeah, Curio's not getting too close either.
[01:09:33] Speaker G: What, Do I look threatening to you?
[01:09:36] Speaker A: I'm sorry. What about you, Korra? What are you doing?
[01:09:39] Speaker E: Yeah, I think Korra has approached.
They did clear off all of the meat slash pudding from their body and is just sort of leaned back.
Not leaned back because they have wings. Is just sort of standing back a little watching.
[01:09:56] Speaker A: So the three of you watching, you're clearly listening as well. And when it's pointed out, you do notice the smell.
The three of you also, like, rubbed it off so it's not on you. It's not that strong. But, like, if you, like, sniff the walls or just take a big, deep breath, you also smell your favorite food. Except for Joe. Joe, you're gonna remember something very specific right now.
Joe, your ability to taste food and feel touch has specifically been turned off. It's been switched off. And you are aware that you know where the switch is now because it was pointed out once to you. You're not sure who pointed it out that you can't. You. Which is weird because you should remember this. You know, this is a. This is an important feature. This is a very important part that kind of, like, it's turned off for a reason. It's so that way you. You're not distracted by, like, this.
[01:11:11] Speaker D: It.
[01:11:12] Speaker A: It's also not like you don't eat. You do eat. It's just. You don't need to eat for, like, pleasure or anything like that. You can eat something you don't like. You're not even sure what you like and what you don't like, but it's. It's. That's the main reason. You know, if you gotta eat a bug for survival, that's nothing to you.
That's survival, right?
[01:11:34] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll eat 20 bugs.
[01:11:36] Speaker G: Exactly. Like, what the fuck?
[01:11:37] Speaker A: It's nothing. So in this cave right now, which you also are quite aware that you had no rations.
You were. But you were, like, packing a whole bunch of other shit. You have no rations. You have no water.
If everybody else is saying that they could smell and taste it, you're aware that it's you. You can't smell.
You don't smell what they're smelling. This looks like goo. This feels. It felt like goo. It rubbed off like. Like sticky goo, you know?
But everybody else, Curio, Korra, you both do smell your favorite things, and you remember what your favorite foods were or your beverages or whatever, and you could eat. That is the. The other thing you do kind of feel hunger.
[01:12:25] Speaker E: Now suddenly, this is not the circumstance in which I'm going to be eating food off of people's bodies in some dank cave. So Cora will abstain.
[01:12:38] Speaker F: Yeah, I am also going to abstain. This does not seem natural or right to me.
[01:12:45] Speaker C: Jo, kind of like with their freehand, realize that the switch is, like. It's like, really, like, behind the ear, like, really close to, like, where it meets the. Where the ear meets the body. But they don't turn it back on. And they just very clearly say to compy, you should stop eating that.
[01:13:07] Speaker G: I think I already did.
[01:13:12] Speaker C: Well, stop.
[01:13:14] Speaker D: Yeah. Something doesn't seem right here.
[01:13:19] Speaker G: Oh, whatever made you think that might be the.
[01:13:26] Speaker B: It wants to be eaten.
[01:13:30] Speaker E: Yes.
[01:13:31] Speaker G: That is an interesting proposition.
What would gain from being eaten if it were an entity of some kind?
I don't know that I've ever eaten anything that desired to be eaten.
[01:13:47] Speaker B: Maybe it wants to breed in our poop.
[01:13:52] Speaker G: Oh, like a plant or a fungus. Yes. You ingest it, and then you poop out its seeds and carry it to other places.
[01:14:02] Speaker C: Do any of you know why you're here or how you got here?
[01:14:05] Speaker D: No. No, unfortunately, I do not.
[01:14:10] Speaker G: Oh. Curious.
Also, I am unaware of where I am or why I am or completely who I am. To be fully transparent or translucent. That is joke.
Because of my wings. Don't worry about it.
[01:14:31] Speaker C: Okay.
I think Joe is going to.
I want to, like, actively look around to see if there's, like, we're in the cave. If this is a cave system, I'm going to ignore the goo. I'm going to ignore this dragon telling everyone to eat the goo and making bad jokes and telling us to ignore the bad jokes and see if there's a light source, Any sound coming from anywhere that denotes anything.
[01:15:02] Speaker D: Yeah. Are there Any passages leading away from here, or are we just in one giant circular room?
[01:15:08] Speaker A: That's so funny that you asked that, because truly, I think only two people would pick it up naturally, one being curio. Because you are a cat, and cats have good hearing and big ears.
And also, you chose to come in a little later and.
And Joe, in fact, you would. You would. You would be able to pick this up because you have the feet proximity alert.
[01:15:43] Speaker C: Oh, okay.
[01:15:46] Speaker A: There's moving all around you. There's like a shifting noise. Sounds like feet scurrying or shuffling and squelching as you are quickly surrounded by figures.
That's what we're gonna leave off for episode one.
You do have combat.
[01:16:15] Speaker F: Combat. Not knowing anything, comrade. And not knowing anything.
[01:16:22] Speaker A: Yeah, baby.
[01:16:23] Speaker G: Without even knowing. Like, our ability scores is wild.
[01:16:26] Speaker A: Yeah, I know.
[01:16:28] Speaker G: Or attributes, modifiers.
[01:16:29] Speaker A: I mean, don't worry about it. Who wants to lead in taking us out for the episode?
[01:16:37] Speaker G: All right. We don't have tic.
We have a Tic Tac.
[01:16:41] Speaker B: No, not me.
[01:16:48] Speaker G: We have been godless. Again. Thank you so much for joining us here and the Bride and the Charnel House, this wonderful miniseries. GMD by Aki and we will catch you all next time doing whatever it is that we're going to be doing in the dark unknown with no. No eyes or ears that know a thing about each other or ourselves. None of that made sense.
[01:17:08] Speaker F: It's fine.
[01:17:08] Speaker A: Bye, Sa.
