[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam. [00:00:43] Speaker B: Waking up asleep I've been dreaming Dr. Long I cannot find meaning. Hold my hand Let me stay by your side through this never ending night. [00:00:59] Speaker C: I can feel it now it holds [00:01:02] Speaker B: me all the these demons around me in this red light because me he [00:01:11] Speaker A: is reaching out, consuming. [00:01:32] Speaker C: Hello everybody. Welcome back to Gobbles and Gays. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell some of my players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing and then we'll get rolling into things. [00:01:41] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante Grave Wing, who is a Nagaji's self, monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns. [00:01:53] Speaker B: Hello, I am Faris, she her and [00:01:55] Speaker D: I play Alouette Valer. Also she her, a bardic thaumaturge beast [00:02:00] Speaker B: kin doing her best while juggling a family curse, falling in love, and of course the end of the world. [00:02:07] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they he pronouns. Name playing Eu, formerly Moran, still a problem, just angrier now. They are blood hunter, Nephilim problem. Just. Just trying to fix things, even though it's all bad. They also use they he pronouns. [00:02:32] Speaker F: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire, the revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he, him pronouns. [00:02:55] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Tick. I use he, she, they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall, who uses he, they pronouns. He cooks, he cleans, he eats people, has an alien parasite living in his spine, slowly consuming him. What more could you ask for? [00:03:09] Speaker A: Hi, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them and I play Laithi, the fourth Dampier, dandy, rogue, failed matricide with a negative one constitution modifier. Leith uses she any pronouns. [00:03:23] Speaker C: So, who wants to tell me what happened last time? [00:03:28] Speaker G: Well, I know mostly what we happened last time, but I think I'll let Barrist do it because the ADHD meds have taught me that quite frankly, no, I don't. [00:03:38] Speaker B: Okay, so last time Scarlet Bond made good on their promise. After we did a little heist for them, we did some last minute prep to prepare everything that we needed to do. They stormed the prison freeing prisoners kind of randomly while we snuck in from the sewers and made our way to the solitary confinement wing. We found Utrum and also also a handful of other people. I think it was a total of eight. Most of them are like political prisoners. Some of them are maybe not that. And then there's Utram also. Utram, Elliot, Winter, and five other people is what I wrote down. [00:04:20] Speaker G: And. [00:04:21] Speaker B: Yeah, so we left. But on our way back to the tunnel, the. The fighting from all of the. The Scarlet Bond doing whatever they're doing. The people who are freed and all the people who are trying to make that not happen kind of cut off our usual route. So we went through a courtyard and then. Oh, no. There's like 41 people in here, Aubrey. So, yeah, it's time to hope they're all like level ones and either die or murder, I guess, is our. Is our options. That's what happened last week. [00:05:04] Speaker C: Okay. I think we need to start off by rolling some initiative. Yuri, it looks like you're gonna be starting us off. [00:05:16] Speaker E: Yeah, with my NAT20 on initiative, which is not what I wanted to use my NAT20 for the session. [00:05:22] Speaker B: 4. [00:05:25] Speaker E: I have one question, two questions. I want to make sure ERTRAM is like away and probably like closer to the entrance. So not. I don't want them into combat, basically. So if I need to do something to get that to happen, I will do that. [00:05:47] Speaker C: I will say that they are holding back. You've got. You've got Winter and Elliot sort of guarding them as you all deal with these guards. [00:05:59] Speaker G: Great. [00:06:00] Speaker E: And who's. Who's this edgy looking over here? [00:06:05] Speaker C: Right in. This right in the center? That's the warden of Cold Iron [00:06:11] Speaker E: Will. We recognize him from like when they. When we got imprisoned? [00:06:15] Speaker C: Yes, I'd say so. [00:06:17] Speaker E: Great. Great, Great. Just for say, can I say we started like 5ft closer? Yuri started 5ft closer. Sure. Great. I want to use my first action to know who that is and know that we don't want to deal with them. I'm gonna use a focus. Spell of blood. Curse of mutual suffering. So, Aubrey, I need them to make a fortitude save, please. As Yuri is like basically mothering something and doing some weird hand signs with a hand that's not holding a weapon. [00:06:56] Speaker C: Oh, that is a 28. [00:06:58] Speaker E: 28. That meets. So that's just gonna be a regular success, which is unfortunate because it doesn't do anything. Basically, Yuri sees that doesn't do anything. And just mothers are yell as a string of expletives. And it's gonna get closer. Getting to my whole 30ft to get right here. Weapon ready. And that's my turn. [00:07:37] Speaker C: And. [00:07:38] Speaker E: Jesus Christ. Sorry. The DD money foundry is so big, [00:07:46] Speaker C: the first of the troops of guards moves. It is about. You probably guess about 20 or so people moving in formation and they spend their first action to. [00:08:03] Speaker G: There we go. [00:08:03] Speaker F: So. [00:08:03] Speaker G: Oh, God. [00:08:05] Speaker C: They move into the fray in formation, and they're going to spend the last two of their actions to do a. Let them have it. So, Yuri graveling and Leith, I need reflex saves. [00:08:32] Speaker G: We fucking consumed Yuri. [00:08:34] Speaker D: I just. Yeah, I just want to ask. Where the fuck did Yuri go? I actually don't remember. [00:08:38] Speaker E: I'm in the pit. [00:08:41] Speaker D: You're in the. [00:08:41] Speaker F: In the. [00:08:42] Speaker G: In the. [00:08:43] Speaker B: You've been consumed by the kill box. It's now the consumption. [00:08:47] Speaker E: The consumption sphere. [00:08:49] Speaker B: The consumption sphere. [00:08:50] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:08:52] Speaker D: I'm using my arms poking out like. [00:08:55] Speaker B: Oh, boy, we're turning off strong. [00:09:02] Speaker E: I got a 30. [00:09:04] Speaker A: 36. [00:09:08] Speaker D: Dirty 30. [00:09:09] Speaker C: Dirty 30. Okay. Leith, you critically succeed. The other two of you regularly succeed. So you are both going to take 15 bludgeoning damage as a hail of blows comes down on you. [00:09:27] Speaker A: Do I take nothing because of the crit? [00:09:29] Speaker B: Yes. [00:09:31] Speaker D: Nice. You said 15, right? [00:09:34] Speaker G: 15. [00:09:35] Speaker C: 1 5. Okay, that'll bring us to your turn, Griefling. [00:09:41] Speaker D: My turn. I will channel my. My elements. So I'm open up the gate. My aura is 10. My kinetic aura was always 10. It's just I've never needed to keep track of it more than. Than I do right now. 10 is in 10ft. So that's one action because I have channeled it. Any enemy in that aura get. Gets a weakness to fire equal to half of my level. So their weakness, five to fire. That's good to know. No, that's one action. That's my first action. These are big. Yeah. So I have a question about these. These troops. [00:10:44] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:10:48] Speaker D: If I were to pass through, there's space that, like. I can't end my turn there. [00:10:56] Speaker C: No, you can end your turn there. But to pass through their space, it counts as difficult terrain. [00:11:00] Speaker D: Difficult terrain. Okay, that's good to know. I'm gonna. I'm gonna do an elemental blast, and then I'm gonna do a flurry of blows because I have them that back. Oh, and my element. I've mentioned it, I think before. It's fire that I'm currently channeling. I believe I have to switch. I believe it's action. To start, switch into air. I can't remember. I'm dual gate now, so I have no idea if my. If channeling it channels. All of it. I have to double. I have to like, double check the rules for that. Yeah, all the waves violently with her fists. With some. With something. Okay. I also changed my dice because I didn't like the way that other dice Was rolling for me. How do so like when we're attacking them, it's just like a. Like we just treat it like one enemy. [00:12:03] Speaker C: Or you would treat it like one enemy if you. They will take more damage from area of effect, splash damage, things like that. And they cannot be demoralized unless you have a thing that lets you demoralize multiple people. Like at least 10 people. And they cannot be charmed unless you have a thing that can charm up to 10 people. [00:12:33] Speaker D: That's really good to know actually. That. That's a next turn thing though. That's okay. They're actually big. I'm sorry. I'm like thinking of something, but I think we're okay. I think we're fine. We're okay. I am. I'm just gonna do. I'm gonna do what I said before. Elemental blast. And then flurry of blows. Oh my God. That's so much more. [00:13:05] Speaker B: Now. [00:13:07] Speaker D: 36 I think. [00:13:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:13:12] Speaker D: 36 to hit the troops. [00:13:15] Speaker C: 36. 36 will be a critical hit. [00:13:18] Speaker D: Yummy. So fun fact. My other function gate was to increase the damage die of my fire. So you're about to. To get a lot more. I would. That's three. Three. [00:13:38] Speaker A: Okay. [00:13:39] Speaker D: Well you said it was a crit. [00:13:41] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:13:42] Speaker C: Yes, that was a crit. [00:13:47] Speaker D: That's 36 fire damage. And they do still have the weakness five to fire. [00:13:53] Speaker C: Oh yeah. [00:13:53] Speaker D: So when graveling activates, when she starts channeling her elements, it's. It's. Normally we're used to all of that like wind picking up. Now there's like sparks of like fire like flowing around. It's kind of cute as fuck. Like the way that the fire just kind of like flows. They flow like leaves, I like to think. But you know, it's an open flame. And rather than like. Rather than making a fucking tornado. A fire tornado that doesn't happen. It's like super controlled and cute. Loki, like Aurelian souls. Other thing, old thing. Oh, ignore that. The next. Next one to hit is 32. Cuz I rolled high. [00:14:45] Speaker C: 32. 32 will just regularly hit. [00:14:48] Speaker D: Okay. And then. And then the last. Last hit is 21. I don't think that hits. [00:14:59] Speaker C: 21 will not hit. [00:15:00] Speaker D: Yeah, okay, that's fine. I'll just do my. My regular monk damage. And then the flurry of blows. The one that hits is about 11 damage. So. Excuse me. Still kicking and punching. All of that is fire. Couple fast ones for a bunch of. Bunch of them. Great. I think graveling fights a group really, really well because it's just it's just a lot of erratic movements. I grab, I jump off of one guy's knee, knee the other in the face, get on the floor, kip up, because I have that now. [00:15:42] Speaker G: Fire. [00:15:43] Speaker D: Blast. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Bam. [00:15:43] Speaker C: Bam. [00:15:44] Speaker D: It looks like. It just looks like. It just looks like a proper firebender fighting, Honestly, like, it's so satisfying. [00:15:50] Speaker C: You. You're back in your element. [00:15:54] Speaker D: I do think she looks like she's. Shut up. I do think she looks like she is dancing, though. [00:16:06] Speaker C: And that'll bring us to late [00:16:10] Speaker A: Elliot Harlow, the leader of the Nighthawks. Did he have a weapon or gain one on our truck out? [00:16:19] Speaker C: Not currently, but he is also helping Winter sort of protect the other people. You busted out. [00:16:25] Speaker A: Great. Leith is going to throw the war razor that we appropriated from Johnny back at him and then not sneak, but sort of saunter her way past this group of guards so that she can. I didn't want to do that. Saunter past this troop of guards, up to the warden, and I am using statement strut. Everyone within 30. Enemies within 30ft are enraptured. They must succeed a will save or become unable to use reactions until the end of my next turn. So it would capture the warden. It would capture this closest troop. And I don't know if it starts, like, where I started or where I ended, but if it's where I ended, it would also capture the last group. [00:17:28] Speaker C: Does it count as a charm effect? [00:17:31] Speaker D: It is. [00:17:32] Speaker A: Let's see. Nope. Mental. [00:17:37] Speaker G: Okay. [00:17:39] Speaker C: And you said it will save, will [00:17:42] Speaker A: save, and it says all enemies, so there's not a, like, size max. [00:17:48] Speaker C: All right, we have a 29, a 31, and a 32. [00:17:52] Speaker A: Alas, they all succeed. So Leith saunters for no reason, but it gets to where she needs to go. [00:17:59] Speaker C: Yeah, it just looks fancy. [00:18:01] Speaker A: Exactly. And then we'll shout back to nominally Yuri, but really the whole group. Get your head in the game and let's get through this. And we'll activate the inspiring martial stance, which is a diplomacy track, usually against an easy DC of my level. So that is a can le have [00:18:32] Speaker G: disadvantage, because we all don't like her. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. [00:18:38] Speaker A: 34. [00:18:41] Speaker C: A 34 will hit. [00:18:45] Speaker B: Yay. [00:18:48] Speaker A: Cool. So I've got a stance up now that is 15ft. So currently only helps Yudo, but yeah, no, it's better than nothing. And that is my turn, Lou. [00:19:17] Speaker B: Okay, I'm going to start off with. With exploit vulnerability. I'm gonna do it on the troops and see how this goes. I love that my phone is like, it's Sunday night. Would you like to use your calculator? I'm like, yes, I would, please. You understand exactly what's going on? Literally popped it up as a suggested app to open at this hour. Yeah. Okay, so that's gonna be a 36. [00:19:54] Speaker C: Will be a critical success. [00:19:56] Speaker G: Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. [00:19:58] Speaker B: Okay. So I remember the creature's weaknesses, and I also have a flash of insight that grants even more knowledge about it. So I learn all resistances, all weaknesses, all immunities, including the amount of. Of the resistances. Hang on, let me just put this in the chat for you. I'll keep reading it for the. For the viewers at home, so to speak, including the amounts of the. Of the resistances and weaknesses and immunities and any unusual weaknesses or vulnerabilities. And I can exploit either the normal things. Now all my stuff, magical. If they weren't already. We already know that part. But anyway, so tell me everything. [00:20:39] Speaker G: Yes. [00:20:41] Speaker C: So they have weaknesses. Area damage is 10. Splash damage is 10. Resistances, essentially. Is that they've got like resistance 5 to like, essentially single target attacks and no other. No immunities. [00:21:02] Speaker B: Okay. Target attacks. [00:21:08] Speaker D: Okay. [00:21:08] Speaker B: I will drop this stuff in the chat as well. No immunities, no specific weaknesses, weaknesses, area [00:21:16] Speaker C: damage, and splash damage. [00:21:17] Speaker B: Oh. Oh. Those are their weaknesses. Okay. Weaknesses. Okay. So would that then mean I am. This is a mortal weakness or a personal injury? This is. [00:21:33] Speaker C: I mean, I'm pretty sure you know what their weakness is. Wouldn't that count as a mortal weakness? [00:21:41] Speaker B: I think so. Great. I was going to say, otherwise it's going to be rat fur. So that's what it was last time we were here. Excellent. And then because I have been saging for. For a while, this mortal weakness applies to any. Anyone who has that same weakness. So anything that is. Is weak to those things would be weak to it. So the other set of troops as well. And then because I'm very gay with la, LA gets the same advantage. So when LA attacks the troops, Laithe will have the weakness applied. And then I'm going to cast Mirror Image with the rest of my turn. And so we'll just flip open her compact mirror and breathe on it and exhale. And two reflections will just sort of crawl out of it and sit next to her. So now there's three of me. [00:22:52] Speaker C: One of those reflections has weird silvery eyes that seem to be melting. It's fine. [00:22:58] Speaker A: Hi. [00:23:01] Speaker B: It's fine. It's cool. This is. This is. This is like an archetype feat, I think so. It's fine. Don't worry about it. Yeah, that's my turn. [00:23:16] Speaker C: All right, that'll bring us to Alistair. [00:23:21] Speaker F: All right, I'm gonna look at all these guys, and I'm going to try to devise a stratagem. So I'm targeting the literal platoon of guards in front of me, and I'm not taking anything lower than a cross crit. So with my luck, that means this is probably gonna crit and ruin my plan. A 10, probably not a crit, not worth it. I have to roll either way, though, because. So I'm going to go ahead and use a defensive stratagem also. As part of that, I will go ahead and attempt a recall knowledge check on them. Would that be society? What do you recall knowledge for? For a horde of guards? [00:24:27] Speaker C: I. Society would work. Warfare lore, if you have it. Military lore, if you have it. But society would work. [00:24:38] Speaker F: All right. And that's a blind GM role. [00:24:42] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:24:43] Speaker F: Not using a skill stratagem for that. There we go. [00:24:49] Speaker C: Hey. You can ask two questions. [00:24:53] Speaker F: What is their weakest save? [00:24:56] Speaker C: Their weakest save. As will. [00:24:59] Speaker F: I should have figured that. What is their strongest save? [00:25:03] Speaker C: Fortitude. [00:25:06] Speaker F: I reach into my scroll case with a Interact action and pull out a scroll, and I cast chilling spray on them. 15ft, so it be. [00:25:23] Speaker A: Should. [00:25:24] Speaker F: Should get a good half of them. I don't know if the specific number matters. I. I definitely know it targets them and doesn't hit any of my allies. [00:25:37] Speaker C: That is a 28, [00:25:41] Speaker F: so that's a regular success, unfortunately. [00:25:46] Speaker C: But [00:25:49] Speaker F: I still get to do. I mean, it's a level one spell. I'm mostly going after the splash damage or, like, because, like, honestly, the weakness. So that is three cold damage plus their weakness to area of effect. And that took all of my actions. So I will stand and cower. [00:26:18] Speaker C: That's fair. And that'll bring us to the warden. And the warden sees you, Leith, having been the first to close the distance. So the warden is going to. You watch as with a free hand, they run a hand along the blade and cast a spell. And then they come in for an attack, blade glowing Aye. Does a 34 hit you, Leith? [00:26:56] Speaker A: Unfortunately, it does. [00:27:02] Speaker C: I. And as this hits you, you watch as from the ground comes up a massive spike as he spell struck impaling spike on you. [00:27:13] Speaker A: Gross. [00:27:16] Speaker C: Yeah, for 50 damage. [00:27:20] Speaker G: Oh, Leith, that's more than half your health. Because you have less than 100. [00:27:25] Speaker A: That is accurate. [00:27:27] Speaker G: Oh, no, Laith, I'm sorry. I Take back what I said about you. Please don't die. We all love you. [00:27:35] Speaker C: And that is all that he can do for this turn because his first action was to sure strike. And we come to the second set of guards. So they are going to spend their first. They're going to spend two actions to ready fire. Lou, Nile, Alistair and Gravewing. I am going to need reflex saves as a volley of arrows rains down on you. [00:28:12] Speaker G: My reflex isn't. It's not too bad. It's okay. You know, I'm a little reflexive. Really? I lost connection to Sander. [00:28:23] Speaker B: 37. [00:28:25] Speaker C: 37. Okay. [00:28:29] Speaker D: 35. [00:28:31] Speaker G: 29. [00:28:33] Speaker C: 29 is a reflex save. [00:28:38] Speaker B: Yes. [00:28:39] Speaker F: Okay. I was just checking. A defensive stratagem does work for reflex saves. I'm gonna hero point that two. [00:28:49] Speaker C: Probably gonna hit you. [00:28:53] Speaker F: Watch. One, one. Oh, no. But I did get a four for 24. [00:29:00] Speaker C: Okay, so Lou, you got a critical success. Nile and Grave Wing, you got regular successes. And Alistair, you failed. [00:29:20] Speaker G: I'm so mad I'm five feet away from being able to retaliate with a reaction. [00:29:25] Speaker B: Oh, that doesn't. [00:29:27] Speaker C: So Alistair, you will take 12 piercing damage. Graving. And Nile, you'll play, you'll take six. And Lou, you will take none as you manage to not get hit by an arrow. [00:29:41] Speaker B: It's because I exploited them. I know their weaknesses. [00:29:46] Speaker A: We love each other. They're just cowards in a group. [00:29:50] Speaker C: Yeah. And for their last action, you hear someone give it a command and all of them put their shields up. [00:29:59] Speaker F: That's not foreboding. [00:30:02] Speaker C: And Niall, it is now your turn. [00:30:05] Speaker G: All righty, diydey. Well, for the first time in a long time, I'm gonna use a bloodline spell, everyone. So I'm going to cast a fifth level spell called Black Tentacles. Thank you, Schism, for having my back in this trying time. Fantastic. Do I make an attack roll? No, it's a Fortitude save. Why is it telling me to make an attack roll? That's weird. There's a 20 foot burst. I can just slap it on these guys right here, the ones that are ranged away because honestly, those arrows kind of sucked. I want them to stay over there. So I'm going to need a fortitude save from that creature as Niall will kind of put their. I guess put their palms with the two mouths on the ground as these little tendrils just kind of seep into the earth and they kind of make a little circle in the ground around that area and then tendrils just kind of start to spout forth from the ground. Itself lashing around the arms and the limbs of all of these soldiers that have pointed their arrows up. So I just roll once because it counts as one unit, right? [00:31:13] Speaker F: Yes. [00:31:14] Speaker G: Brilliant. Okay. Oh, that's a good roll. That's a 31. [00:31:20] Speaker C: 31 does succeed. [00:31:23] Speaker D: Yippee. [00:31:23] Speaker G: I love reading the attack properly. So any creature I succeed against is grabbed and takes 3d6 bludgeoning damage. Whenever a creature ends its turn in the area, the tentacles attempt to grab the creature if they have it already and they deal. 1 6. 1d6 bludgeoning damage. Any creature already grabbed. So when it comes their turn, they're going to have to get out. It does 3D6 plus 5. Because I have something where if I cast a spell, it has like an extra five damage on it. Because it's a fifth level spell. I always forget about that. Anyway, guys, I roll my spicy 3D 6 plus 5. That didn't roll. Wow, that was terrible damage. That was two ones and a three. I fought for that success by reading it. Okay, well that's 10 points of bludgeoning damage in total. Five plus five. Thank you. [00:32:12] Speaker B: It is a. [00:32:13] Speaker G: It is a concentrate spell, so I do have to concentrate on it. But this, these people are basically pinned down for now and they've taken a little bit of damage from the. It's a burst attack. So I got them gripped and grappled. You know, [00:32:29] Speaker A: concentration just means you can't go into rage, right? Functionally in Pathfinder pretty much. [00:32:34] Speaker C: And you can't cast another spell that has the concentrate trait. Yeah, there is no like getting hit and losing the spell. It's just you can't go into rage or do anything that, you know, says you. You can't concentrate and you can't cast another spell that has concentrate or you can you just drop the other one. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Cool. [00:32:50] Speaker E: Cool. [00:32:54] Speaker G: All right, that is a three action spell. So I'm done. My turn. I've just yoinked. Those guys [00:33:00] Speaker C: hearing. [00:33:01] Speaker E: Does life look like they got the warden? No, they just got spell struck. They're still holding the spike from the ground in their chest. Okay, answer my question. I would like to move forward. I would like. I'm gonna attack with their. Their axe gun. Okay. God damn. That's a 38. [00:33:38] Speaker C: 38 is a hit, not a crit. [00:33:42] Speaker E: All right, that's going to be 13 damage. I would like to attempt to grapple as my last action. All right, well, with map, that is a 19 minus 5 plus 20. So 35. 35. [00:34:02] Speaker C: 35 to 34. [00:34:05] Speaker F: Yes. [00:34:05] Speaker C: 34 will succeed. [00:34:07] Speaker E: Okay, Lou's just like. Lou, sorry. Yuri has grabbed the ward basically like in a chokehold. And he's going to look at le. Just point, like look at their dagger, and just like attempt to make like a snapping motion. And that's all my actions. [00:34:28] Speaker C: Right? And we come to the other. The first group of guards. They're going to spend their first action to move, putting Grave Wing, Alistair, Nile, and Lou in the middle of this formation. And they're going to spend their last two actions to let them have it. Reflex saves everyone. [00:34:58] Speaker G: These guys are not very nice. [00:35:01] Speaker C: No, they are not. [00:35:03] Speaker G: Okay. Oh, that's a natural 19 on the dice for a total of 37. Rub my little get hands together. [00:35:10] Speaker F: I got a 30 with a 10 on the dice, which is so much better. [00:35:18] Speaker D: All the titles. 37 for my reflexing. [00:35:21] Speaker C: 37. And Lou, what did you roll? [00:35:25] Speaker D: 32. [00:35:26] Speaker C: 32. Okay. Nile and Gray Wing, you both critically succeed. Alistair and Liu, you both regular succeed. So Alistair and Lou, you will both take 11 damage as you are hit with a volley of attacks from these clubs and maces. And that'll bring us to graping. [00:35:50] Speaker D: So while Grave Wing was doing all of that expert dodging, one of her little, little flames kind of flew into the center of the room. And for all three of my actions, I am going to use solar detonation. I will read you what this effect is does, but I'm also dropping it in chat. Blinding flames explode in a swirling sphere. The detonation fills a 20 foot burst within 60ft of you. Each creature in the area takes 7D6 fire damage, plus 3D6 Vitality. If it has void healing and can become dazzled or blinded, depending on the result of its reflex save. The light from solar detonation is sunlight. For creatures with a particular vulnerability to sunlight. Each creature attempts to save or becomes temporarily immune. Oh, each creature that attempts a save becomes temporarily immune to being dazzled or blinded by solar detonation for 10 minutes, but not the impulse's other effects. So where I put it, it should hit both troops and the warden, and unfortunately Yuri. But it's a reflex save. So you have your thing where you. If you succeed, you crit, and that's what you need. [00:37:17] Speaker C: Does it also hit lathe? [00:37:19] Speaker D: No, lathe is just out of it. See? [00:37:21] Speaker C: Okay, cool. [00:37:23] Speaker D: I. I was working really hard to make sure it didn't hit Leith in particular, or else. [00:37:30] Speaker C: Yeah, that might have killed Leith. [00:37:32] Speaker D: I might have killed. I might kill Leith. Also. My set of troops will take additional because they are affected by the fire weakness. They. These guys don't have void healing though, right? I don't need a roll. The vitality. [00:37:46] Speaker C: These are just normal people. [00:37:48] Speaker D: Yeah. So they're just going to take the regular fire damage. If they succeed, it is a reflex save. [00:37:57] Speaker C: Reflex save. [00:37:57] Speaker D: What's the DC28? [00:38:00] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:38:00] Speaker E: I succeeded. [00:38:02] Speaker D: So you're fine. Cuz you. [00:38:03] Speaker F: You. [00:38:03] Speaker D: Yours is a crit for you. You're unaffected. I was betting on that. I was betting on that. [00:38:09] Speaker E: No, the Warden's in this though, right? [00:38:12] Speaker D: Warden is in this. Yes. [00:38:13] Speaker E: And they're grappled. [00:38:17] Speaker D: I was going to say that this is this. I'm hoping I can at least get a success effect on everybody. I just. Except for. Well, no, on everybody. Because if it's a success for you, then that means you could succeed. So that's why. That's why I was like. I'm betting. I'm betting. I'm betting. [00:38:36] Speaker C: Yeah. So the furthest set of guards got a 31. The one that you're in the middle of got a 22. And the warden got a 22 as well. But the Warden is going to spend their reaction to cast energy. Energy absorption on themselves. [00:38:57] Speaker D: Okay. So for my. [00:39:00] Speaker C: It does not have the manipulate trade on it. [00:39:05] Speaker D: So as a note, for my failures, they're gonna take full damage and they are blinded until the start of my next turn. So the warden and troops number two on the far back are. Well, they're blinded, right? Because they. No. Which troops succeeded? Which troops got 31? [00:39:25] Speaker C: The ones that are the. The ones that the. The 31 is the one that is the furthest away from you. [00:39:29] Speaker G: Furthest away. [00:39:30] Speaker D: Okay. [00:39:31] Speaker C: Are also fail. [00:39:32] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. [00:39:33] Speaker E: Succeed on their DC5 flat check. Because if they do manipulate action. Oh, it does not manipulate action. Damn it. You just said that. [00:39:42] Speaker C: I know. No, it has his arcane focus and wizard. [00:39:47] Speaker D: Okay, so then the siege in front of me and Warden fail, they'll be blinded. The troops in the back are dazzled until the start of my next turn. And they'll take half damage. So I'm just gonna roll the damage now. That's 25 points of fire damage to everyone. The people in the back, that's like halved. We round up or down. I can't remember. [00:40:14] Speaker G: Remember? [00:40:14] Speaker D: I never remember. Okay, so then it's 13 for the guards in the back as. So this little flame goes into the middle and you see kind of grave wing. Take some time to just like cup her hands together and just slowly but forcefully pull it upwards as she remembers what her Bane rune did to Schism. And just the little flame explodes into a bigger blast. Nice beautiful golden swirls. And are blind. To quote Prism from Dispatch, you blind forever. Or, like, until my next turn. But like, I love that the line Del Prism is the best character in Dispatch, y'. [00:41:06] Speaker C: All. [00:41:06] Speaker B: It's. [00:41:08] Speaker C: And for the group that is closest to you, you defeated the first segment of it, so it gets a little bit smaller. That'll be le. [00:41:19] Speaker A: So I will faint with my dagger, which is a 37 versus their perception, basically. [00:41:37] Speaker C: That would be a critical success. [00:41:39] Speaker A: Hell yeah. Okay. Off guard against all melee until the end of my next turn. And I will use that to get my free step in so that I am also flanking with Yudo, which I guess matters less because they're crit or they're off whatever, forever. But still, just for fun. And it's better to be out of Yuri's eyeline for the next thing that I'm going to do. I would like to stab them, please. [00:42:10] Speaker C: Okay. [00:42:10] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:42:11] Speaker B: That is a 41, right? [00:42:17] Speaker C: 41 will be a critical success. [00:42:19] Speaker A: Hell yeah. And I will use the. The bird beak talisman. Bloodseeker beak talisman. Does the distinction between precision and piercing damage matter for them? [00:42:37] Speaker C: No. [00:42:37] Speaker A: Okay, cool. So that is 20. Do I also double the damage I get from the blood seal seeker beak [00:42:51] Speaker E: for a crit? [00:42:52] Speaker C: I would think so, yeah. With a crit. Okay, cool. [00:42:55] Speaker A: So that is 50 damage plus 10 persistent bleed. And I think that I go for that in their neck, just basically stabbing at an artery. And I am very unwell. And there is a lot of blood that is currently pouring out of them. And I think on instinct, Leith leans forward and gets a little taste of that. So give me, please, a fortitude save. [00:43:43] Speaker C: Yeah, it only took three whole seasons. That is a 27. [00:43:54] Speaker A: Oh, no, meats, it beats. That's fine. So I get a little hp, but unfortunately, they are not drained. And that is my turn. Thanks for the assist, yo. Because they need to be grappled for me to do this. [00:44:17] Speaker C: Oh, Lou, it is now your turn. [00:44:20] Speaker B: It is my turn. I am going. Okay. I am going to cast Bane on the troops that are surrounding me just kind of by ringing my lowest bell in a way that invokes their weakness. I feel like the esoteric emulation of the weakness is like. Like a crystal that she, like, crushed against the bell. And. Yeah, so I need a will save from the troops. It's a ten foot emanation, so I don't know how that applies to a [00:45:21] Speaker C: troop, but as long as you can hit at least 10 of them. [00:45:25] Speaker B: It counts big I can. [00:45:34] Speaker C: And that is a 22. [00:45:37] Speaker B: Sweet. So they failed. So they get a minus one status penalty to attack rolls as long as they remain in this area. And that's. So that's the rest of that's a me problem. So then I have one action left which I will. Oh, I didn't mean to do that. Whatever use to stab them with my sword. Oh goodness. I haven't done. I feel like I haven't like made a standard attack in a really long time. It's been a bad so that's gonna be a 34 to hit. [00:46:24] Speaker C: A 34. 34 will hit. [00:46:27] Speaker B: Okay, great. And then I think it's right. I think it's 21 damage and they are weak to me. Even though I technically only stabbed one person. I am stabbing all of them. They all feel stabbed by me. [00:46:46] Speaker C: Yeah. As you. As you do this. It's just. Yeah. No the. You're. You're getting real close hitting that second threshold. [00:46:57] Speaker B: Nice. [00:46:58] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:46:59] Speaker B: Okay. That's all I got on them. [00:47:02] Speaker C: Alistair, it is now your turn. [00:47:05] Speaker F: I'm gonna take a look at the warden because I have an idea. So we will devise a stratagem. We do not have an idea. That is a natural one, folks. That is a non idea. [00:47:28] Speaker B: Have a hero point or can you not use it on that? [00:47:31] Speaker F: You can already use it a hero point on device stratagem. Because hero point is a fortune effect. [00:47:40] Speaker B: Right. [00:47:40] Speaker F: And devise a stratagem is as well. Where is graveling? [00:47:50] Speaker D: I'm right beside you. There's a bunch of shapes on me, but I'm right beside you. [00:47:59] Speaker F: Hey, Graveling. [00:48:01] Speaker D: It's still in my prison. [00:48:02] Speaker B: Fit. [00:48:03] Speaker F: Go get them. I cast haste on graveling. [00:48:08] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:48:11] Speaker F: And then I move the difficult terrain. Is that the square getting out or is that only is the first five feet of getting out of them difficult terrain? [00:48:30] Speaker C: I can't remember when it's calculated. [00:48:32] Speaker F: Okay, so that'd be 5. [00:48:34] Speaker C: 10. [00:48:35] Speaker F: I guess that would be 15. [00:48:37] Speaker A: Yes. [00:48:38] Speaker C: Yes. It would be 20. [00:48:40] Speaker F: 25. I do not like being there. So haste graveling and get out. And that is my turn. Thank you for answering questions. Questions. [00:48:55] Speaker C: It is the warden's turn. The warden is does not want to be grappled. So they are going to attempt to fix that. They are going to make a an unarmed attack against you. Very. Okay. It didn't roll for the because it's air blind. So that is a 36 to escape against. [00:49:33] Speaker E: I I, I doesn't matter what I'm saying. Yes. Unless it's like a fortitude or. No, it's. It's good. Never mind. [00:49:42] Speaker C: So they are no longer grabbed, but they are still blinded. So they are going to just take another wild strike at you. Probably earring. And no, 22 is not going to hit you. [00:50:02] Speaker E: No, no. I think even with my poor ac. That does not hit. Correct. It does not hit. [00:50:08] Speaker C: And they're going to spend their third action to. To raise their shield. Damn. [00:50:12] Speaker E: They don't want to run. They don't want to move away. Get out of my. My space by moving. [00:50:21] Speaker C: No. [00:50:22] Speaker E: Okay, I tried. [00:50:28] Speaker C: All right. And they're going to continue bleeding. [00:50:38] Speaker E: Yuri's gonna point to all the bleeding men for lace anyways. [00:50:46] Speaker C: Animal here though, we come to the. The guards who are all grappled currently. [00:50:55] Speaker G: So I get to do. I think it's the beginning of their turn. Hold on, let me scrumble in really quickly. I'm gonna make sure to read because I think it's beginning of turn. But I've already been humbled once before with this attack, so I'm not gonna do it again. I refuse to be humbled yet again for my actions. Oh, it's ends to turn the area. Okay. I was not humbled again. I checked before I opened my mouth. [00:51:29] Speaker C: Yep. They are going to spend their first step. First attack to. Yeah, they'll just make a. An escape check. [00:51:41] Speaker G: Okay. That's against my fortitude. [00:51:43] Speaker A: DC. [00:51:45] Speaker C: Because your spell. DC. [00:51:48] Speaker G: Okay. Which is actually lower than my 42 DC. Unfortunately. [00:51:53] Speaker C: Yeah. They rolled to 30. [00:51:56] Speaker G: Okay. So they are unfortunately escaped. But if they stay in that spot, the tentacles will like automatically try to grab them again. [00:52:03] Speaker C: So they are going to spend that first action to move forward and subsume Yuri and Leith. So Yuri and Le make reflex saves [00:52:21] Speaker A: 33. [00:52:23] Speaker E: 29. [00:52:25] Speaker C: 29 will be a success. You've got the thing that makes it a critical success. [00:52:31] Speaker E: Sure do. [00:52:34] Speaker C: And Leith, you also got a success. But I don't think you have the thing that makes it a critical success. [00:52:40] Speaker A: I do have the thing that makes it a critical success. [00:52:42] Speaker C: Okay, then neither of you have to worry about anything. [00:52:44] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:52:45] Speaker E: God. Let's just stab this guy. [00:52:49] Speaker D: Level 10. Level 10 is when shit gets so fun. [00:52:52] Speaker C: Yeah. Niall, it is now your turn. [00:52:56] Speaker G: So I will cast for two of my actions. Enervation. And can you see the arrow that I'm doing right now? The little line? [00:53:06] Speaker E: The 30 foot line? Yeah, I can see it. [00:53:10] Speaker G: Yay. That is where I would like to cast it. So it's not going to hit Yuri. Yuri's gonna get the Tail out of a bolt, almost hitting him in the head. But it'll hit like one square of the other baker group and a good chunk of the smaller group. And let me just cast that really quickly. I'm gonna do fourth level. I don't want to bust every spell slot. That is a Fortitude save. It is not a. It is not a basic one. It is a fortitude save. So it has to do something specific. Yippee. [00:53:40] Speaker C: First one, the closest one to you got a 28. And the one that Yuri is in the middle of got a nat 20 for a 38. [00:53:48] Speaker G: Okay. That's unfortunate. That's a success. And a crit success. Hold on. So on a success, the creature takes 2d8 persistent void damage. So yeah, unfortunately does not get any worse than that. It meets. It beats. So it's just gonna take 2d8 persistent void damage going forward. [00:54:20] Speaker C: And anything else for your turn, or was that that it? [00:54:23] Speaker G: I guess my best option is to raise my shield or picach shield, not to raise my shield. A lot of my spells are two to three actions, except for that one. [00:54:34] Speaker E: Wow. With so many people on the screen, it feels like the combat should take longer to get to my turn. Not a bad thing, though. I think Yuri is going to say this guy in particular to the warden. I'm just gonna do a normal attack first. So with the ax part, that is a 19 on the dice. I think to 20. Now it is. That is a 39. [00:55:18] Speaker B: 39. [00:55:19] Speaker C: 39 will be a critical. [00:55:25] Speaker E: So this is with the ax gun. It has a critical fusion. Okay. Basically what is going to happen is that the ax is going to make contact, and then it's also going to shoot at the same time doing just a little bit extra damage. But it is doubled. 20. 22 and then doubled because of crypt. So 44 damage. Yeah. [00:55:56] Speaker C: He's certainly not looking great. [00:56:00] Speaker E: Great, great, great. And then gonna use my second action to. I knew this is worth it. Second action to grab a pistol from their bandolier. And then third action to shoot, because I have that a bonus from switching from melee to Pew pew, [00:56:35] Speaker C: pew pew. [00:56:42] Speaker E: This bouncy dice I have has been quite nice this session. [00:56:47] Speaker C: That is. It's very much like, where are all these roles when you were fighting the Sin Eater? [00:56:53] Speaker E: I know just sitting here like that's someone I could have done good against. And now I'm just. Anyways, the base math that is going to be 16 plus 19 is 35 minus 4. [00:57:09] Speaker F: 4 [00:57:11] Speaker E: plus 1 plus 2 actually because of. Forgot it because of Marshall thing so becomes 30. So 34. [00:57:21] Speaker C: 34. 34 is going to hit. [00:57:24] Speaker E: All right. Sick, sick. Don't worry. It's. It's nothing too biggie. It's just 2D6 more, which is. That's gonna be max damage. So 14 damage. [00:57:43] Speaker C: All right. How does this look [00:57:51] Speaker E: up? Probably so basically like Yuri with him with the ax. So basically ax shoulder. Then the. The weapon shot and so it blasted back out and Yuri with the momentum turned around and just kind of like in the back of the chest, the. It explodes. Which unfortunately gets blood all over Lace shot through the heart. And Lathe's to blame. This guy's dead in. Pew pew. That's thankfully all my actions. [00:58:32] Speaker C: Yeah. So yeah, it's the. The others. So they're going to move sort of the first action to move forward. So they have Lou and Nile in there and give me those reflex saves. Blue and Nile. [00:58:57] Speaker G: That's crying very cutely and very pathetically with my what ifs little eyes. [00:59:01] Speaker C: Known to me. [00:59:02] Speaker B: This doesn't count as a strike, does it? Does it have the strike? [00:59:10] Speaker C: Not really. [00:59:13] Speaker B: Okay, Just thought I'd check. [00:59:15] Speaker C: But depending on what it is, I might let you use it. [00:59:18] Speaker B: I was going to ring my bell about it, cuz. [00:59:22] Speaker C: Yeah, this is. This is this. Cuz there is no, like rolling for. For them for this. [00:59:29] Speaker B: No, that's fine. I just was like, you know, maybe now's the time, but. No, no, it's not the time. [00:59:35] Speaker C: It's a good idea. It's just. Yeah, you wouldn't. It wouldn't do anything to them. [00:59:44] Speaker B: That's not my best of these that I've been doing. That's only gonna be a 30, but I think that's still a success. Maybe not. [00:59:57] Speaker C: Oh yeah, it's still a success. [00:59:59] Speaker B: All right, we're good. [01:00:06] Speaker C: And Nile, you got a 26. [01:00:09] Speaker G: I got a 26, unfortunately. Yeah. [01:00:12] Speaker C: So, yeah, you both succeeded, apparently. Nile, barely. So you will both take seven bludgeoning damage. That is their turn. And that'll bring us to grave wing. [01:00:27] Speaker D: I'm going to use my first reaction to rechannel my element of fire so I can attack people with. With that weakness again. So troops over here. Weakness five to fire. And okay, that's one action. Okay, so then I'm, I'm just going to. I'm going to do a move. I'm going to use flying flame on the group in. In front of me. I'm just going to angle it in such a way that I. I'm actually. Yeah, I'm going to Angle it in such a way where it goes past Lou and Nile without hitting them as I just kind of aim it down. Yeah. Each creature passes through has to make a basic reflex save against my DC. So that is a 28 and for. For y', all, you see the fire comes back but this time the flames are in the shape of tiny little little moths and they flutter real cute. [01:01:50] Speaker C: That is going to be a 2020 [01:01:54] Speaker D: they fail for okay, 17 fire damage tacked on top of that weakness they have and how they looking, [01:02:06] Speaker C: you have hit the. The next threshold. [01:02:12] Speaker D: So yeah, the. The little moths. The little fire moths fly way faster than an actual moth could go through them and come back into the kinetic aura. Those two actions. And now I can make this the actual strike action with no penalty at all. And I simply wish to actually do this for once. Since I have biteable enemies, I'm gonna bite them because. Because being a monk makes me trained in biting people. I used to be an expert at biting people. But it doesn't matter because the damage die is up and that. That's what matters. That's a good. That's a. That's a bite. All right. 32 to bites a hoe. [01:03:07] Speaker C: Yeah, that is. It is going to be a success. [01:03:12] Speaker D: So for like the flavor text of it all, you see Grave wings. Y' all know that grave wing's mouth, neck and throat can stretch because she's like hidden things in her throat before and her jaw has like fully unhinged and stuff like that before. So you see specifically Lou and. And. And Niall with. And maybe Alistair actually because Alistair's down over there. Kind of see her neck stretch out longer as she just probably the most snake like thing ever. Just quick strikes to. To bite a hoe for Jesus for 11 points of. Of piercing damage [01:04:02] Speaker C: and that'll bring us to laith. [01:04:06] Speaker A: I am just going to lick the blood off of my blunt teeth and do a little stabby stab into the group. Ah. 30 hit. [01:04:30] Speaker C: 30 does hit. [01:04:31] Speaker F: Yes. [01:04:32] Speaker A: Okay. And I. I assume that this doesn't count as any sort of flanking with Yuri because it's just sort of a group of men. [01:04:41] Speaker C: Yes. [01:04:42] Speaker A: Okay cool. So that is [01:04:48] Speaker G: episode title group of men 7. [01:04:52] Speaker A: That is a hot 7 damage from Leith for that first hit without sneak attack, I'm nothing. And I think seeing that her attacking is a little less useful here will go ahead and heal with the 20 DC battle medicine and crit thankfully. So I will give myself heelys after this round. Stab again. I guess. I don't know. There's Nothing else to do here. And that is a 30. Minus 4 is 26. [01:05:41] Speaker C: 26. 26 is gonna just barely hit. [01:05:49] Speaker A: Okay, that is nine damage that time. And that's my turn. [01:05:56] Speaker C: And that'll bring us to Lou. [01:05:59] Speaker B: Then I am going to step one stab some men here people mabob they're getting stabbed. I'm gonna stab them. And as far as they're concerned, I'm stabbing all of them at the same time with one. Sweet. I don't know why my dice is being so nice to me tonight, but I'm enjoying it. Like, can you imagine if I could roll like this all the time? So it's a 38 to hit. [01:06:34] Speaker C: 38 will be a crit. [01:06:40] Speaker A: Delightful. [01:06:40] Speaker B: Okay, great. Okay, so 6. So 15. Wait. Haha. But doubled. So 30 damage, which might be the most damage I've ever done in this game. As Lu somewhere Demisa is cackling at the small number. But me proud, delighted. Let's go. Cool. I was gonna heal laythe because I can do it quite good now. But Lane doesn't need healing anymore. [01:07:15] Speaker A: I'm fine. I got good reflex, so I'm fine. [01:07:18] Speaker B: Okay. Cause like that's why I stabbed almost so I could heal you better. But that's fine. I can stab him anyway for other reasons. Or I could do spell. Nah, I'll stab. I'm gonna for funsies because I don't know, I'm feeling good about this. I'm gonna use my card that I drew at the beginning of the day, which gives me advantage my neutral marriage card. A 33 to stab. [01:07:59] Speaker C: A 33 will be a success. [01:08:01] Speaker B: Sweet. [01:08:02] Speaker A: I think [01:08:05] Speaker B: 16. And again, I'm stabbing all of them at once. They are weak to me. [01:08:12] Speaker C: So through this, you do successfully route this first pack of guards. They are driven off, driven away, most dead. [01:08:28] Speaker B: Lou is quite thrilled with this turn of events. And I'm gonna use my last action to mosey closer because everybody over there is out of most of my ranges. So let's just. [01:08:45] Speaker D: No, I want. [01:08:46] Speaker B: I want to move. I want to move. I don't want to measure. There we go. 25. That sounds good. There's a lot of juicy targets over there. I feel safe. [01:09:01] Speaker C: And that'll bring us to Alistair. Yep, yep, yep. [01:09:07] Speaker F: Have you heard of shooting fish in a barrel? That's why I feel like we're doing it at this point. Oh, an eight. Really? Well, you know, I'm gonna take that eight because I honestly, honestly don't think I could miss. So I'm gonna take a look at These guys, I'm gonna hit them with my eldritch shot. So first we have our strike, which [01:09:46] Speaker C: is a hit 18 [01:09:51] Speaker F: and piercing is going to carry along with it. So I'm not sure it probably counts as separate damage sources. I don't know. That's up to you. But it's gonna carry with it a gouging claw arrow for an additional. 28 plus. Or 28 plus 6 bleed, though I don't know if I can bleed them. And that is three actions. So that will be my turn. [01:10:35] Speaker C: All right. And we'll come to these. And they're going to a three action. Let him have it. Leith and Yuri, give me those reflex saves. [01:10:49] Speaker A: Does a Nat20 mean I'm immune from this attack going forward? [01:10:53] Speaker C: No, but you're immune this time. [01:10:56] Speaker E: That is a 35 for me. [01:10:59] Speaker C: And yeah, no, you. You both are dodging, blocking these just hail of blows as they just keep trying just to beat you down into the ground, but it's not working. Yeah, a very far cry from how it used to be. And they do not recover from their bleeding. So, Niall, it is now your turn. [01:11:27] Speaker G: You guys have positioned yourself in the worst spot. You know what, I'm just going to do the easiest option. I'm just going to cast Grim Tendrils at first level. It's nothing fancy, but you guys seem to have under control. And it'll do less damage to them, but it'll do less damage to you as well. So I'll shoot off a nice tendril of like, you know, grimness. Wow, my words are going bad today. Niall is just going to open their hands as Schism's very goopy energy just kind of shoots forward in an infestation a shot stream and shoots into some like a good. A little chunk of the guys that are just kind of near the edge. And that is going to be a little fortitude save. D.C. is 28. [01:12:11] Speaker C: That is 34. [01:12:15] Speaker G: It's not a crit success. It's a regular success. So I take half damage. [01:12:24] Speaker E: Sorry, do I. Do I to do this too? Okay. [01:12:28] Speaker G: So, yeah, I didn't want to hit anyone else because. Oh, I rolled. Max damage. Hell yeah. [01:12:35] Speaker A: Have. [01:12:36] Speaker G: It's still like half of nine, but that's max damage for what I did. That's great. I guess, honestly, for the third action, I'm going to. I'm going to move a little closer. All things could. Wow. I. I set up the burst. I says with Joyce and then did not put. Go back to not doing a burst anymore. I'm going to move a little bit closer. Not too much closer. Just [01:13:04] Speaker C: thanks. And you hit the first threshold for damage. And that'll bring us back to Yuri. [01:13:12] Speaker E: Yeah, I think Yuri is just going to just start swinging. They lathe is too close for them to do anything too reckless like drop a bomb at their feet. So I want to use a hero point because I don't want to have a NAT one amongst all these. Okay. First hit is going to be a 39. [01:13:39] Speaker C: 39 is going to hit and be a critical. [01:13:44] Speaker E: Okay. That is max damage on the dice plus six. So 16 plus six is 22. Yes. Double so 44 damage as Yuri starts swinging around. [01:14:04] Speaker C: Hey. And that breaks through to the final [01:14:11] Speaker E: nice second action. Going to swing. And I get that plus one circumstance bonus on a nat 20. [01:14:19] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:14:20] Speaker E: Where was this dice for Sin Eater? Jesus Christ. This is. It's literally like a bouncy ball dice too. [01:14:29] Speaker D: I like, I like that. It's like you, you couldn't do despite. You could. Mechanically you could, but you couldn't do for, for the senior. Objectively. These regular fucking guys. Oh my God. You don't want them to go home. [01:14:45] Speaker B: You don't. [01:14:47] Speaker E: They're cops. Yuri says acab. [01:14:49] Speaker C: All right. [01:14:50] Speaker B: Pretty much. [01:14:50] Speaker C: Yeah. These are, these, this is all a cab. Yeah. The card is ventilated for triple damage. [01:15:01] Speaker B: All right. [01:15:01] Speaker E: Yeah. I think this is like a scene out of like if Van Helsing the movie was like a fighting a bunch of people. It's like Yuri going ham on this ax, like using the momentum to go through more and more of them. Let me just roll this damage for you really quick. Aubry. [01:15:22] Speaker C: It's not gonna matter. They have nine health. But you know, I want to know how much it is. [01:15:27] Speaker E: Well, so I rolled one less than my previous role. So it's 21 tripled. So 63 damage. Maybe it's the, the power of, of Yuri with a Y. Because they're trying to save Brick drum. [01:15:52] Speaker C: Yeah. And that brings us to the. The end of this encounter as you all sort of stand in this blood soaked courtyard having just dispatched like 50 guys in four rounds. So less than a minute. [01:16:19] Speaker E: I did not get hit. [01:16:25] Speaker A: I don't know that that was quiet. And I think that we should hurry on. [01:16:32] Speaker C: To be fair, there's very little that's actually quiet around the prison right now. [01:16:35] Speaker E: It's still very loud. And then Yuri is going like. Yeah, kind of like with their. With one hand do like fang motion. You want to talk about this later? [01:16:48] Speaker A: Glares at you. [01:16:49] Speaker E: Okay. I know. I thought we Were friends just saying [01:16:55] Speaker A: it is more of a not in front of everyone else who maybe didn't notice glare than a we will not [01:17:01] Speaker G: talk far enough away where Yuri's not [01:17:03] Speaker F: saying you look like a straight up vampire. [01:17:07] Speaker A: To be fair, I'm covered in blood because of all the people that Yuri just bled in front of me. [01:17:14] Speaker B: Yes, and also hitting him. [01:17:18] Speaker G: Are you guys gonna eat that? [01:17:20] Speaker F: So the issue is more that you look a little too happy about it. [01:17:23] Speaker A: Exactly. [01:17:28] Speaker C: So I. I imagine that you keep moving. [01:17:36] Speaker E: Yeah. I want to very specifically say like Yuri does best, like, like make sure earth trim is okay despite and does not necessarily grab their hand because their hands are filthy right now. But just. Are you okay? We should keep going before we meet more people. [01:17:57] Speaker C: And everyone else is very much in accordance in agreeance of that. And you all continue moving. It does not take you long at all to get to the secret passage out of here. [01:18:18] Speaker D: I do the teacher thing where you go beside the door and start counting everybody who comes through, taking attendance. And then once everybody else, including the eight people we rescue, go through, I'll go last, [01:18:41] Speaker A: get the razor back from [01:18:43] Speaker C: the gnome, Arlo will give it back to you and you all move through the sewers. Takes you about an hour or so, an hour or two to get back to the other side of the city and reemerge in the clock tower. By this time, you know that the Scarlet Bond would have pulled back from their attack. And as you are you headed back to the Wollstonecraft manor? [01:19:22] Speaker D: No, I think crow and hammer might be better in this case because we have. We have eight people outsiders and it's the bottom part of the crow of the tavern that is the actual bloody blade stuff. Whereas we can keep them there for now and still low key, do a shakedown if we need to. [01:19:44] Speaker E: Yeah, because also the tavern, like regular tavern, has rooms as well, if anything. [01:19:49] Speaker A: Yeah, cool. [01:19:52] Speaker E: Smart idea. [01:19:53] Speaker C: So, yeah, especially with how. How well that the ROE has been locked down by the remaining blades and everyone else. It's easy to get them in and to the tavern and when you arrive, you're all sort of hustled down into the area below, [01:20:17] Speaker D: above cable. Do we want to try and recruit these nobles to our cause? Because I mean, they've just been. They've just been thoroughly over for a few months. I think they'd be way more amb. I mean, they were also the ones that weren't interested in what the high [01:20:36] Speaker B: priest was spewing already, like kind of prepped them for it because we talked to them at the masquerade, kind of gauging their interest in, like, doing a little defying of the norm. And so with this, I feel like it'd be pretty. Pretty easy to talk them into it. [01:20:53] Speaker G: Yeah, I think I'm pretty impressful right now. [01:20:55] Speaker F: You need me to talk about the evils of the bourgeoisie? [01:20:59] Speaker C: No, no, I think I just experienced it. [01:21:05] Speaker D: They know what they are. Is Lorelei here? [01:21:13] Speaker C: Yes, she is. She is here. [01:21:16] Speaker D: Okay, dope. I was like, this is her place. It might be important for her to be here. [01:21:20] Speaker C: Yeah, no, she is here. She. And that just gets everyone settled. Her big focus is getting people fresh clothes, good food, place to rest. Because many of them have been. [01:21:35] Speaker F: Have been. [01:21:37] Speaker C: They have a cook. [01:21:39] Speaker G: Not for long they don't. [01:21:41] Speaker E: Yeah, they do. [01:21:42] Speaker B: You can't eat or cook. [01:21:43] Speaker E: You can't do this every time. Nile, we keep telling you, you can't [01:21:49] Speaker B: feed the whole world. [01:21:49] Speaker E: World. [01:21:50] Speaker B: Sometimes you gotta let other people do it. [01:21:53] Speaker D: Oh my God. [01:21:55] Speaker B: Goodness. [01:21:56] Speaker D: And it pops and pops up like. [01:21:58] Speaker B: Like. [01:22:00] Speaker D: Like when two Pokemon trainers make eye contact. [01:22:05] Speaker G: This kitchen ain't big enough for the both of us. [01:22:09] Speaker E: Also, just to be clear, Yuri does want to have a. A moment with Ertrum too. Check how things are. But we could do other stuff first. [01:22:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:22:22] Speaker C: You all get settled. You see, Harlow look at all of you and just say, I need to sleep. I need to eat something, probably take a bath. Then we should talk. I think our goals are pretty much aligned right now. [01:22:41] Speaker B: I was just gonna like, like sit down with the. The nobles, like while they're eating and just kind of to see about bringing them into the fold. Not the inner circle, but like an outer circle. [01:22:57] Speaker C: Give me. Just give me a diplomacy check. [01:23:01] Speaker D: Can I aid. [01:23:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:23:07] Speaker D: Can I aid through. I wish to aid while doing a society, if possible, because I'm not trying to intimidate to. For them to help us in this case. I want them to want to do the right thing [01:23:29] Speaker G: in. [01:23:29] Speaker D: In this case. [01:23:31] Speaker B: 32. Before whatever assistance may come. [01:23:38] Speaker C: Yeah, I would allow that. [01:23:42] Speaker D: We're gonna use that other hero point. What the. [01:23:45] Speaker B: I also had to use a hero. [01:23:46] Speaker D: All of my. All of my luck went like. Came out of me and went into Yuri. It was like they need it's hero. Hero point was a. Was a good call because that is. What is this? I don't want to do math, remember? It's not allowing it. 33 on society. [01:24:15] Speaker C: 33. Yeah. That's a plus two to what you rolled. [01:24:19] Speaker B: 34. [01:24:20] Speaker C: Yeah. And yeah. No, they seem very receptive. None of them are particularly Happy with Cygnus and the other nobles have done to them. So, you know, be it part of. Maybe some of them it's revenge. Maybe some of them it's just. Maybe this is the right thing to do. You'll probably take either at this point. [01:24:40] Speaker B: As long as we share a common goal and enemy, their motives can be their motives. For now. For now. I'll talk them around. We'll get there. [01:24:53] Speaker D: It'd be great if like a couple of them were like, oh my God, this is. Yeah, let's do the right thing. And then they stay on that and do like redistribute wealth. Oh, can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? [01:25:08] Speaker C: But Yuri, you wanted to talk to Utrom. [01:25:13] Speaker B: Yeah, [01:25:16] Speaker E: very pointedly. Would make sure that they're alone in this conversation and would shoo anyone else away. And I. I realized that I haven't properly given a description for a term. They're a mentor. They are definitely like over a foot taller and change than Yuri normally. They are very put together. They usually have. Their favorite color is blue. So they usually wear a lot of blue clothing. They have glasses which look probably pretty ragged. And the most noticeable thing from their face is a scar going across from the right side down the middle of their face. And if you're looking, they notice it would actually go down to like to their chest, to their shoulder, I imagine currently, after being in a captivity prison for two weeks, three weeks. How long has it been? [01:26:29] Speaker C: Three weeks at least. Jesus. [01:26:33] Speaker E: They definitely look a lot more ragged, obviously. And Yuri would going to check. And I was like, I'm sorry that took so long to get to you. I know the last time you saw me, I was about to be put up to death at a certain masquerade. [01:27:04] Speaker C: Well, [01:27:09] Speaker E: Just. [01:27:10] Speaker C: Well then I certainly didn't see any of it going like this. What matters is them out in the end. [01:27:27] Speaker E: What. What did say when they went to. When they took you? Like, I would have no reason, I think for them to take you into prison at all. [01:27:43] Speaker C: It was leverage on my aunt. [01:27:51] Speaker E: I think Yuri has been like sending a bit away and kind of like wringing their hands the whole time. Like obviously very nervous and concerned [01:28:03] Speaker C: and [01:28:06] Speaker E: they have been purposely avoiding their gaze. But they're gonna like look up and say, But you just. Well, what we had to do to get you out, I think there's only going to be more of it happening [01:28:24] Speaker C: if needed. [01:28:25] Speaker E: I don't want you to be caught up in all this unnecessarily. We could find a way to get you out of the city, if needed, [01:28:34] Speaker C: go where it's several weeks, maybe a month's travel through the woods to any other country. And I have no money. No one I know anywhere. [01:28:51] Speaker E: I know. I. I just. [01:28:55] Speaker C: I think I'm in it. Even if I don't want to be. At this point, I think I do want to be. [01:29:07] Speaker E: So. Sorry, it's not my place to say. If you are in it. We have a lot of people here to help in whatever ways. I'm sorry that you have to be in it. [01:29:28] Speaker C: I. I'm not the fighter. You know this. But I can help with any research or any. Anything like that. [01:29:40] Speaker E: Yeah, we have a lot of people. We have a lot of things going on and looking into. In fact, we. We have someone named Juni. They are really looking into some. Yuri's about to say curses, but they kind of like trail off a bit and just into, You know, the thing that happens with me. [01:30:19] Speaker C: Of course. Of course I can help or with anything else. I would say should talk to my aunt, but. But it's. I doubt there's much she can actually do. [01:30:40] Speaker E: If you think that they would help, we could. You know, we have teams of people to go get them. [01:30:52] Speaker C: We'll see. We'll see what she does now that I'm no longer being held for ransom. [01:31:02] Speaker G: Great. [01:31:02] Speaker E: Is there anything I could get you right now? [01:31:07] Speaker C: Food is good. I think I'd like to sleep in an actual bed. And then I will figure it out from there. [01:31:15] Speaker G: Great. [01:31:16] Speaker E: Great. Yeah, we could definitely get that set up for you. I will. [01:31:23] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:31:25] Speaker E: Yuri is storing in her hands. Is going to like make a turn to leave, but then kind of just say I. It's very good to see you, Urchin. Despite the circumstances. [01:31:43] Speaker C: Despite all the circumstances. It is good to see you as well. [01:31:49] Speaker E: Yuri kind of like does a thing where they kind of like. They knock on the door frame a few times [01:31:57] Speaker B: and [01:31:59] Speaker E: I'll let you know when we have food ready and goes [01:32:03] Speaker C: away and Grave wing Lorelai approaches you [01:32:10] Speaker D: I1 I've changed out of those godforsaken cult clothes. The fuck? [01:32:16] Speaker B: No. [01:32:17] Speaker D: I hate that shit. And I'm back into my mind, my regular fit. And I'll just like give her a nod when I see her approach. [01:32:36] Speaker C: Another successful mission, I take it. [01:32:42] Speaker G: Yep. [01:32:43] Speaker D: And it would seem we've recruited some of those [01:32:51] Speaker C: that it certainly does. [01:32:54] Speaker D: I was thinking of a nice word and I couldn't. [01:33:03] Speaker C: Work on that. Hopefully they will succeed in the end. I wanted to ask you a question. [01:33:13] Speaker D: All right. [01:33:15] Speaker C: Have you thought about what happens next? Things are Quickly coming to a head. And I think that maybe some sort [01:33:31] Speaker B: of [01:33:34] Speaker C: meeting is not the right term, but people you trust. [01:33:41] Speaker D: I've actually thought a lot about what comes next, so. No, we. We do need a meeting, but. Oh, and it's a really big but. I think we need. We need to finish talking with some of these potential recruits. I'm talking Harlow. I'm talking Ravenswood. [01:34:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:34:25] Speaker D: A couple others. Because. We are probably gonna be opening up an incredibly big box. Of very angry people really soon. And I'm not talking about. I'm not talking about just whatever will be left of the nobles. I'm talking about the people who outnumber them. [01:35:02] Speaker C: Yeah, well, having some sort of meeting with their representatives, people who are powerful, who can do something may not be a bad idea. Some sort of council. I don't know. Never done this before. [01:35:26] Speaker D: No, I have. I have never. No. You are the closest I've come to a very nice relationship with somebody who wants this. [01:35:43] Speaker C: Yeah, life. The few times where we clashed with other groups and I made an effort to sit down with all of the leaders and try and come to a solution. It's kind of how the blades grew so fast. We would just kind of bring them into the fold. [01:36:11] Speaker D: Okay, well, we're gonna need an inner circle meeting first before we get. Of course, towards even inventing this outer circle. [01:36:20] Speaker C: Of course. [01:36:22] Speaker A: Well. [01:36:27] Speaker C: Glad you're okay. It can't have been easy going back in there. [01:36:37] Speaker D: I mean, if I'm being real honest. It was nice being able to see the place. [01:36:47] Speaker C: That's fair. [01:36:49] Speaker D: They put a bag over my head. Like, two bags sometimes. I did not see. You could ask me to break in again. I really wouldn't know where to go without, like, a map or something. I'll give her, like, hand to squeeze. We're, like, in public, in, like, our public identity. So I don't wanna. I don't want to sew these rumors, but, like, you know, it's. [01:37:23] Speaker B: It's [01:37:27] Speaker D: comfort. [01:37:31] Speaker C: Blue place. You doing anything? [01:37:36] Speaker A: Is my sister here? [01:37:39] Speaker C: Yes, Nadia would be here. [01:37:41] Speaker A: Lovely. I would like to grab her, please, and take her to a room or a corner somewhere. We will not be noticed as much. [01:37:49] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. You can easily find her, take her to a corner and. Yeah, you have. You have your sister cornered. [01:37:57] Speaker A: Nadia, you're doing more combat training now. [01:38:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:38:09] Speaker A: I know that you're using the elements rather than blades, but have you felt. Hunger? Invites. [01:38:36] Speaker C: Kind of thinks about it, and she goes. I mean, there's something there. Didn't really put too much of a thought into it. That fight in the tea house is like the only. Only real fight I've been in. Everything else has just been in training. [01:38:55] Speaker G: Great. [01:38:56] Speaker A: Well, we'll try to keep it that way. Have you told anyone? [01:39:11] Speaker E: No. [01:39:12] Speaker C: Because mostly I just. I just thought it was me pushing myself a little too hard and maybe not eating properly. Is it more than that? [01:39:27] Speaker A: I think that it might be. I was hoping that it was just me. [01:39:38] Speaker D: Well, it's. [01:39:41] Speaker C: It's good to know. So I can [01:39:46] Speaker A: not [01:39:49] Speaker C: like blood. [01:39:55] Speaker A: I think the laughter is in character as the sort of stress of the night gets to Leith and she can't quite contain it. There are people who would try and use it. We found a notebook. There were kidnappings. So keep it secret, all right? Of course. [01:40:30] Speaker C: And I won't tell anyone. What should I do if I get too hungry? [01:40:45] Speaker A: Come talk to me and we'll figure it out. [01:40:50] Speaker G: Okay? [01:40:51] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Gonna try not to think about it all the time. [01:41:02] Speaker A: Well, there's plenty of other things to think about, don't you think? [01:41:11] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of like lean in. It's just like, you know, Lorelais. Damn fear. Right? Do you think she could help us with this? [01:41:30] Speaker A: I am not 100% certain that that's all that it is. Our mother wasn't. And, I mean, I can't speak to Father, but. [01:41:51] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Well, just an idea. I don't know. I'll see if I can research anything about it. There's a lot of books. [01:42:07] Speaker A: There are. I was going to ask Juniper about it. She had read through a journal for me. [01:42:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll check in with Juniper, see what. How that's going. We hang out a lot. [01:42:39] Speaker A: What do you think of her? [01:42:42] Speaker C: Really smart and, you know, like, think if we had met at Ravenswood, we would have been really good friends there. [01:42:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, I'm glad that you had the chance to meet out here. [01:43:05] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:43:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:43:12] Speaker A: All right. I should probably go check in with that lot. Sort of gesturing over the people you rescued. [01:43:21] Speaker C: Yeah. Glad you. So glad you didn't get too hurt today. [01:43:32] Speaker A: It turns out it's much easier fighting people than whatever creatures it is that we are facing otherwise. [01:43:45] Speaker C: Yeah, from what I heard about that thing, it was something. [01:43:53] Speaker A: It wasn't good. None of the blades have been. I don't look forward to seeing our mother again. [01:44:06] Speaker C: Yeah, that's. That's something. Well, maybe it's time that Tom steps down as head of the family. [01:44:25] Speaker A: I'm not sure how much weight the family will have after all of this, [01:44:32] Speaker C: but, I mean, that's. That's Fine. I think, you know, she just needs to learn how to stay dead. [01:44:45] Speaker A: I think Laith will pull her into a hug. [01:44:51] Speaker C: Niall and Alistair, what are you doing? [01:44:57] Speaker F: H. [01:44:59] Speaker G: I guess a lot of like. I've been banned from the kitchen, unfortunately, which is the worst part of things. But I would like to ask them something. Cuz now I'm kind of curious. Half because the chat brought it up in half because I've seen it enough times that I'd like to ask about it, I guess. Just chilling. And I just want to ask Skitham. [01:45:21] Speaker C: Yes. [01:45:22] Speaker G: You naturally seem to react very poorly to the sun, and we are currently attempting to stop the tyrant. And I truly doubt we'll be able to actually get rid of such a powerful force permanently. But if perhaps, in stopping him, the sun does come back to this world, will you be okay? [01:45:49] Speaker C: Do you want the good news or the bad news first? [01:45:56] Speaker G: Let's hear the bad news. [01:45:58] Speaker C: I will not be okay if the sun returns. [01:46:02] Speaker G: I certainly hope the good news counteracts that information. [01:46:06] Speaker C: You'll probably be fine. [01:46:08] Speaker G: That's okay. In terms of bad news levels, is this. How severe is this going to be? [01:46:22] Speaker B: Uh, [01:46:26] Speaker C: it'll be very quick and painful for me. [01:46:31] Speaker G: And you've decided to help us despite this outcome being a very real possibility? [01:46:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:46:44] Speaker G: Why? [01:46:48] Speaker C: Because it's important to you and I. I don't want him to win. [01:46:58] Speaker G: I'll pause for a moment, just kind of thinking. I. I'm unsure how possible this is, but I would like to see if there is an option where both of us can live after the tyrant is defeated and the sun potentially returns to this world. Consider it idealistic, but it's only fair. No. After all, everyone in this group has been relying on your power. Our power. Mostly your power, for quite a while now. It would certainly be unfair to not ask. [01:47:32] Speaker C: The only option for me to survive is if we went back through the portal to Mog Mel before the tyrant has vanished and the portal goes away. [01:47:49] Speaker G: What is Mog Mel like? [01:47:54] Speaker C: It is a. A wasteland where nothing lives. [01:48:04] Speaker G: That seems a little bit contrarian to the fact that it's the only place you can live. [01:48:09] Speaker C: Yeah, well, everything else other than [01:48:18] Speaker A: my [01:48:18] Speaker C: kind has been long consumed there. [01:48:25] Speaker G: I would also assume if you went back without me, you would succumb. Would you be able to live without the tyrant? If you went to Mog Mill, you'd have nothing to eat. [01:48:36] Speaker C: Theoretically, I could feast on the energy that is there. [01:48:42] Speaker G: Would you want that? [01:48:45] Speaker C: I don't know. [01:48:50] Speaker G: Wow. [01:48:51] Speaker C: It certainly seems like the better option of Dying in the sun. [01:48:56] Speaker G: I suppose, if that is an option, we'll see what can be done. I would rather you live a life that is good without me than a life that ends tragically. That is your choice to make. [01:49:14] Speaker C: See what happens, I guess. [01:49:21] Speaker G: Thank you. [01:49:24] Speaker C: Of course, I don't think I really [01:49:27] Speaker G: say it enough, but. [01:49:35] Speaker C: Of course I'm glad I can help. [01:49:39] Speaker G: I'm always glad to have your help. And then nothing explicit happened. I'm kidding. Anyways, that is what I wanted to do. Oh, no. It is doom. Jerry. [01:49:51] Speaker C: Oh, it. [01:49:53] Speaker F: Wait, before you go on. So does this conversation happen out loud? [01:50:01] Speaker G: I think Nal's just sitting there silently [01:50:03] Speaker B: in their bedroom thinking it's staring at the ground. [01:50:08] Speaker G: That's just what I do when I think about things. Actually, I feel that. [01:50:11] Speaker F: Is that what you do when you're talking to Schism? [01:50:14] Speaker G: Yeah, sometimes Alistair pokes his head is like, hey, never mind, I'll be back later. [01:50:20] Speaker F: No, because that's exactly. And if you're not. Yeah, so. Because what Alistair wanted to do was go talk to Nile about the goo creatures because I've been studying up on them, like, so first thing I do is take a shower because, oh my God, that was a lot of blood and it's all in my fur and it's kind of matted. But then I go, and I want to go say hello to Niall and I look, I'm like, oh, now isn't a good time. And I do that thing that a house mouse does when it sees you and it like pokes your head. It's like there's a person there and then backs off. [01:51:14] Speaker G: You wait outside for like five to 10 minutes because they'll call you in when they're done. [01:51:20] Speaker F: Well, that's the thing is, first of all, I would take a shower first, okay? And I have a lot of hair. You just have mouths. It's a lot easier to, you know, you could just lick yourself all over. [01:51:33] Speaker G: That's disgust. [01:51:36] Speaker B: You know what? [01:51:37] Speaker G: Never let those words leave your mouth again, please. I'm gonna have nightmares about that. [01:51:40] Speaker F: I. I just imagine that Nile bathes like a mini mouthed cat. [01:51:46] Speaker G: No, Nile takes normal showers. Maybe sometimes Kism will drink shower water, who knows? [01:51:54] Speaker C: But. [01:51:55] Speaker F: But in all seriousness, yeah, it's probably about the time that you are finishing this conversation that I try to poke my head in and I'm like, you do not look happy and skedaddle off. [01:52:14] Speaker G: The great mouse detective, I suppose, strikes again. You can come back. What do you mean? Why did you come here? Now we'll shut this down the hallway. Like, why did you come here? [01:52:25] Speaker F: What's going on? I. I wanted to talk about the children of the tyrant. I've been studying up on them, but it seems like now might not be a good time. You seem a little down. Normally you're happier after we kill a bunch of people. I don't think I say exactly that way. [01:52:48] Speaker G: Please don't say it like that. It makes me sound like a sociopath. [01:52:53] Speaker F: Yeah, that. That's more out of character. And us being like, yeah, we won, and, like, 50 guys and bloodbath and. No, no, but more in character. You. [01:53:06] Speaker B: You. [01:53:06] Speaker F: You seem a little down. I'll. I'll come back later. [01:53:09] Speaker G: No, it's fine. What did you want to ask? [01:53:14] Speaker F: And I don't want to specifically, unless you volunteer, like, that you've heard of this other place that they're from. I'm just going to ask you all sorts of weird questions about anatomy. [01:53:34] Speaker G: I mean, that's up for Schism to volunteer. I'm gonna dox his fucking, like, home address. Like, yeah, he lives on 174 Dead Street. Horrid Cave. Shithole Mog Mel. You know, Like, I'm not going to dox his home address. He can do that if he wants, but I'll answer it out of your questions. Ask away. [01:53:56] Speaker F: Well, I don't have anything out of character, specifically in mind. In character. And if there's anything, you know, want to share. I can't think of anything specific. I just know that that's currently Alistair's, like, interest is he was doing the ELD and now he's researching these children of the tyrant. [01:54:22] Speaker G: Well, you do know a lot. I'll just, you know, relay the stuff that I'm, like, comfortable or I'm allowed to share. Like, yeah, they're goopy. They feed off the tyrant. We know a lot of this stuff. Here's how all my mouths work. Here's how they're connected. They do. They do eat people. [01:54:39] Speaker F: Do you have, like, multiple stomachs, or, like, does it all go to your stomach, or do you have some sort of, like, nether stomach? [01:54:51] Speaker G: Well, from what I can tell, whenever I eat something, I don't feel particularly full. But when I eat something with my mouth, I feel particularly full. So I guess it's two different stomachs. [01:55:06] Speaker F: What about you, Schism? Do you feel full when you eat? [01:55:13] Speaker G: Does Schism enjoy the succulent taste of a potato salad? [01:55:23] Speaker C: No, I don't. [01:55:27] Speaker F: That sounds like such an empty life. I'm so sorry. Sorry, Dude. Do people at least Taste good? [01:55:40] Speaker C: Yes, [01:55:46] Speaker F: But you just. So it's kind of a gnawing, eternal hunger like I've heard from some of the undead. [01:55:57] Speaker C: No, I get satisfied for brief periods of time after eating, but. And then the hunger returns. You just. [01:56:10] Speaker F: You don't feel like it in your stomach? [01:56:13] Speaker C: I don't have a stomach. Where does it go? I break it down [01:56:25] Speaker F: like an amoeba. [01:56:28] Speaker G: Rapid metabolization. [01:56:31] Speaker F: Out of character. Poor Aubrey has not thought about the slug monster anatomy. [01:56:39] Speaker G: Meanwhile, I thought about the slug monster in aggressive autistic detail and wrote it in the chats. [01:56:44] Speaker F: Oh, man, I'm sorry. I missed out. I'll have to find. Yeah, So I, I. We have some bonding time that I hope makes you feel a little bit better from the gloom and doom. And then I will scurry off to bed to take copious notes. [01:57:09] Speaker G: Aw, he's very polite. A little bit invasive, but very polite. I can't believe we're gonna eat him. [01:57:28] Speaker C: And as you all sort of settle in to rest and figure out what comes next, we see a different part of Malacat. We see the steps of the Temple of the Star Mother. We see Cygnus standing on the steps, addressing a crowd. And he says, as we all know, there has been increased rebellious action in the city, and today things took a turn. I have reason to believe that this group that calls themselves Anathema was working, in a way, with the attack on Cold Iron, which left many people dead and many prisoners freed, and has put our city in great danger. So henceforth, I'm declaring the bridges that connect the city closed until further notice. And I'm instituting a bounty on every member of anathema. 100 gold each. This is a very trying time in our city as we approach a hundred years of darkness. And now is not the time to be divided. It's time to work together, and we cannot do that with rebellious actions. And he continues talking and talking about how the city will thrive and come together once this is dealt with. But, you know, our camera moves back and we see all of the city, and we watch as guards move into place over the bridges, effectively cutting one half city off from another. And I think that makes a pretty good spot to end season three. And we will return to whatever season four has in store. The little bits. So, Tick, do you want to take us out? That was the number you used, Aubrey. 50 people in four rounds? [02:01:19] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:01:20] Speaker B: Less than a minute. [02:01:21] Speaker E: The XP bonus for the minimum round should be met. [02:01:25] Speaker C: I'd say. Yeah, you can. You can level up. [02:01:32] Speaker D: You see? [02:01:33] Speaker A: You see how. [02:01:33] Speaker D: You saw how we fought those 50 people by ganging up on them and jumping them? We just went and did that song, Bri. [02:01:42] Speaker A: Now I got 94 hp. [02:01:44] Speaker E: Jesus. [02:01:49] Speaker D: I. I have. I. I have to say it is absolute. It is a feat.
