[00:00:43] Speaker A: Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming.
[00:01:30] Speaker B: Hello everybody and welcome back to Goblets and Gaze. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell some of my players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing, and then we'll get on rolling into things.
[00:01:40] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Maki. My pronouns are she, her and I play Gravewing, the Nagaji sylph vigilante monk slash air kineticist who also uses she her pronouns and she is the party mom slash strategist of the rebellion.
[00:01:58] Speaker D: Hello, hello, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them and I play Laith Idrisi iv, the matricidal, dampier, dandy, rogue and spymaster who uses she any pronouns.
[00:02:12] Speaker E: Hello, I am Dusty, I use they he pronouns and I'm playing Yurido.
Just Yurido. Still, they are our Nephilim cursed boy of a problem.
They are going to be the party and this rebellion's brand and they also use they he pronouns.
[00:02:33] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris, I use she her pronouns and I am playing Alouette Valer, a totally normal Nephilim thaumaturge bard having a very normal and good time learning all about her way more cursed family. She also uses she her pronouns and is the anathema partisan.
[00:02:51] Speaker F: Hello, I am Sparlock, and both me and my character use he him pronouns.
I'm going by Alistair Whiskerfield, wizard detective extraordinaire, as heir to the fine distinguished family of wizard mice, Ratzerts, Esoki arcanists, I swear I was always aware of it. I keep my whiskers to the ground to uncover the truth of the powers that be who subjugate us, by which I mean I'm our recruiter and hello.
[00:03:23] Speaker G: To round off the group. I am Tick, I have he, she, they pronouns and today I'll be playing Nile, a flesh warp sorcerer who is just a totally ordinary cook and quartermaster for the group and definitely not a cannibal parenthesis. He's a cannibal, but it's a dietary restriction, so don't be too mean to him.
[00:03:43] Speaker B: So so I ask what happened last time?
[00:03:49] Speaker G: And I answer, what happened last time, my dear dm? We scuttled down to the docks to find the current doc Master Aster and be like, hey, why is Kessie kind of pissed? Nastur was like, I kind of got this job recently, I didn't learn the ritual. And also the dock master was like, straight up murdered, which is not very good. And we were like, oh, maybe. So if we, like, we refresh the ritual, we'll be fine. Naster's like, probably, but I don't have it. I have looked everywhere for it. I cannot find it. I have lost this one notepad in a sea of notes. And honestly, I relate to that. So. So we're like, okay, let's go. Like, who. Who made the ritual? And he's like, it's the druid on the other side of the lake. We could probably bug him. And we're like, yeah, let's go through the winding, scary death woods and find the druid. We really do not want to fight Kessie at this point. So we go through the winding death woods and survive the death woods, which is great despite its name. We show up at the druid's house, and the druid's like, hey, what's up? And he is, I'm pretty sure, pretty hot, if I remember correctly. And he's cooking some fish.
Hello. Everyone's like, shaking their head like, no, he was not hot.
[00:04:50] Speaker B: It's just an old shirtless dwarf.
[00:04:53] Speaker G: Hey, I can have my type. But anyways.
[00:04:56] Speaker C: But that's not your type. That is. That is not your type. That you very. You're very vocal about your fucking type.
[00:05:05] Speaker G: You can tell the class my type later. But we came in.
Oh, very swear.
But the druid was like, yeah, I do still have the ritual. I think the place at the bottom of the lake got tampered with. And I can go down and fix it with you guys. Someone has to recast the ritual, etc. But I can just cast water, walk like water, breathe a spell of. You can fight underwater, basically. And you guys can go down there. And we're like, okay. So we head in. We. We kind of got prepared for it. We talked to the druid a little bit about Cassie and that she's pretty, actually cool, but she's sometimes a little quirky and doesn't like when people mess with her. And that's why she's probably really mad. And we, I believe, ended off getting ready for the next day to tackle the lake monster, as Lou is going to be the one casting the spell to keep. Yeah, we are preparing to not fight Kessie, but hopefully negotiate. In worst case, temporarily stall. And in my personal best case, we can kill and eat her, but apparently no one else wants to do that. And so we'll have to not do that option.
[00:06:08] Speaker B: Yes no so we ended last session with you all wading into the water Just a general question who is taking off their armor before doing this?
[00:06:20] Speaker C: I don't need armor I never had.
[00:06:21] Speaker E: Armor me I need to take off my armor because otherwise I won't be able to move well.
[00:06:29] Speaker C: I believe I stated before like before I was in last session that I'm basically taking almost everything off because I will I plan to go just sneak in except for the mask where I somehow I did my best to make it as suctioned to my face as possible for this.
[00:06:53] Speaker B: Specific case and you you're all like water breathing and it's for this you know it's you know you can all breathe water so Aubrey I have a.
[00:07:03] Speaker G: Question can all of my mouths breathe water?
[00:07:06] Speaker B: Theoretically yes.
[00:07:07] Speaker G: Understand all that you could breathe water.
[00:07:10] Speaker E: I assume everything on your body could.
[00:07:12] Speaker F: Breathe water hey Aubrey, you're fine but your your mouths all drown.
[00:07:21] Speaker A: Schism you have to become a new kind of.
[00:07:24] Speaker E: Sorcerer I think as far as like when we're getting there I can't take my three guns with me because gunpowder.
[00:07:35] Speaker B: It does anything fire related won't work.
[00:07:37] Speaker E: Underwater so yeah yeah I'm going to look at my apologies what what is the this dwarf's name Den room denim look at that room's like so we still don't know who's doing this do you know how to fire a gun or can you take care of yourself?
[00:07:58] Speaker B: I've done it for for a long time now on my own Great great.
[00:08:04] Speaker E: Great just case you know people are upset that we're doing something and I don't know why but just hold on to I'm gonna hand them an arquebus and then two dueling pistols.
[00:08:21] Speaker F: Alistair will leave on the armor but just the night before I'm in the bathroom with the wand of create magic create water testing to see how waterproof my scroll case is which by the way what do my tests find.
[00:08:47] Speaker B: Surprisingly waterproof as long as you don't open it underwater.
[00:08:52] Speaker F: Okay so very carefully wrap up the scroll case but the spell book stays at home by figure worse comes to worse maybe I can pop out of the water and read a scroll.
[00:09:11] Speaker A: Lou is going to strip down to her skivvies and put up her hair and just take Belle's card and the cards cuz she always already established those are waterproof I think we talked about that last time and sword and it's just got to hope for the best when it comes to anything else no point bringing anything she can't bloody swim. Except for what she needs for the ritual.
Let's not make it harder to get out of the water than it's already going to be.
[00:09:48] Speaker E: Yuri is also like they take. They take off the coat which falls to the ground and the like a puff of dust. It's so heavy.
And also basically down to just give you. When they take off their shirt there is.
I don't first visual mention for the sickos of OP surgery scars.
There's also a pretty noticeable like scar on their side and separate. And they're gonna look to Lathe who's being very quiet right now. And she's like, remember when you gave this to me? Still hasn't healed right.
[00:10:30] Speaker B: They say something very sarcastic in return.
[00:10:34] Speaker A: Ah.
[00:10:35] Speaker E: Every time you say that. I understand.
[00:10:40] Speaker G: Of course it wouldn't hold up under someone without not that much experience using it and everything like that. But I'm sure you'll get a hang of it one day.
[00:10:48] Speaker A: That sounds right.
[00:10:49] Speaker G: Thank you. Thank you.
[00:10:51] Speaker C: So I'm gonna tell Alyssa this later. Sort of got.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: Drop it in.
We'll ADR something later.
[00:10:58] Speaker E: Oh good.
I'm going to be taking just my sarat.
[00:11:04] Speaker C: I also want to give the sicko something.
We.
[00:11:10] Speaker A: We.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: And when I say we, I mean y'all have definitely seen moth mob without clothes before because that's how, that's how we met.
[00:11:22] Speaker B: We're just wearing tiny shorts and like a tank top.
[00:11:25] Speaker A: Tiny shirt.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: Tiny shorts. Tiny shirt. Unfortunately because she. She's a lethal weapon, you know.
But we haven't seen it with like any form of proper lighting. I don't think they light up no prison cells for. For prisoners. Prisoners gets rights. Nah.
But I will say with, with this lamp light we see some fire lights. Whatever lights. There's lights in this goddamn sad ass cabin.
[00:12:02] Speaker B: There's like a fire going.
[00:12:04] Speaker C: Yeah.
Moth mom or grave wing. Sorry I keep calling her her nickname. Grave Wing does have very.
She has just scale patterns but not small ones. They're a little bit bigger.
Kind of like the patterns on scales for some like reptiles going on.
They're like a nice little.
They're like a. They go from brown to like bronze kind of vibe. Like there's some discoloration going on. The patterns don't necessarily form anything particular besides the fact it's like ah.
In the light you are. You're. That's a snake or something. You know, like that kind of vibe it gives and it. I would say that it definitely implies that there is some sort of gradient or color change depending on Like a lot of circumstances like stress and warm. Warm levels and weather sometimes, you know, but definitely can see it a lot better since moth.
[00:13:11] Speaker G: Mom.
[00:13:11] Speaker C: It.
Since graveling is kind of going back to the naturals, you know, going.
When I say the natural, I just realized it just sounds like she's going full naked. That's not it. It's just she's going once again in like very small, like the small clothes because she's gonna turn into a snake. Yeah, you're just gonna be like, we've been here before, you know, just. Just for like a. A little sliver of a second.
[00:13:45] Speaker B: Oh yeah.
[00:13:46] Speaker A: I am also wearing the healer's gloves for sure. So she's still got the long gloves and she's probably still wearing her socks because she's a lunatic.
[00:13:52] Speaker G: Respectfully, I don't like that I have.
[00:13:56] Speaker C: Items in my mouth. I remember that. Yes, that's right, you did. I'm bringing in gear.
[00:14:03] Speaker A: Are you bringing in the ritual supplies through your. In your little mouth pocket?
[00:14:09] Speaker C: I think. I think I am. It's been too much.
[00:14:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:12] Speaker A: You also. I do know that graveling and Yuri both have talismans. I forgot to write down which ones but I know Yuri has the lover's knot because I remember it being a little thing. Graveling probably has the one I. No, I wouldn't have given her the one last time because you can't trip underwater. I don't know what I gave you. Sorry.
Have healing potions from. I assume Nile and Alistair has a potion of speed.
That's all I know. And I drew the snake bite four cards so I will be using that against Aubrey.
Probably sooner than later.
[00:14:47] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you all start the descent into the water. I'm also going to ask.
It's very dark and I don't know if any of you have ever been into say like a lake at night without lights. Does anyone have a light spell?
[00:15:09] Speaker A: Wait, it was daytime. We went in the morning, remember?
[00:15:14] Speaker B: No sign.
[00:15:14] Speaker A: Freaking Knox light. I forgot.
It's been a month, okay? We haven't played since November.
It's been two months.
I forgot about the finer points.
[00:15:30] Speaker G: I. I don't have a light spell. I'm going to just ask ism. Hey, do you have a light? Supposed like. Nah, bro.
[00:15:37] Speaker C: Meet you our sorcerer with no lights.
[00:15:41] Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. Let me check my cantrips. Let me check the cantrip deck. If I don't have it does. Yeah, okay. Hang on. It's in the list. Let me see if it's mine or lathes.
I don't think it doesn't sound like something you can misconstrue as.
[00:15:58] Speaker B: Like maybe you, I don't know, seems to be going to the Olympics and it's mine.
[00:16:06] Speaker A: I'm gonna use the light spell from my Cantrip deck.
[00:16:11] Speaker B: Would you like to cast it on?
[00:16:14] Speaker A: I create an orb of light. It doesn't have to be on anything. It just floats.
[00:16:20] Speaker E: Looks like a little melt.
[00:16:21] Speaker A: It causes it to float near that creature. I pick a creature it's going to float by. That's faris.
[00:16:27] Speaker G: May I make a very humble request?
[00:16:29] Speaker A: The one who doesn't have dark vision.
[00:16:32] Speaker G: Yeah, but also, I was going to say, wouldn't it be cute if it was shaped like a little bell light?
[00:16:36] Speaker A: Yeah, that would be cute. I like that.
[00:16:39] Speaker C: All I'm going to say is maybe it shouldn't be on the. On y'all on the back, people, because that means you're going to get jumped in the water faster.
[00:16:48] Speaker A: Unfortunately, I think it should be on me only because I might need it for the ritual if I have to see in the ritual. Darkvision doesn't help you when it's pitch black. That only helps you if there's some light to begin with. And by the time we get down there, there's going to be zero light.
[00:17:02] Speaker E: Are Niles night vision things waterproof?
[00:17:07] Speaker G: They might be.
[00:17:08] Speaker C: I was gonna say they're goggles specifically.
[00:17:11] Speaker A: So do they just give you dark vision or do they give you like.
[00:17:16] Speaker G: Pitch black vision really quickly? In my inventory because I keep forgetting which tab is. Why do I not have it in my inventory? All I have is Cool spoon.
[00:17:28] Speaker B: I don't know. That's on you. That's on you, bud.
[00:17:30] Speaker A: Also, this light is a 20 foot radius. So, like we're all. It doesn't matter who it's on. We're all gonna be illuminated.
[00:17:43] Speaker B: Let's see.
[00:17:43] Speaker G: Goggles, night. Arch of Neesh, Archives of nes.
It's a plus one item bonus perception checks involving sight. These are the obsidian goggles or a different version. There's a legacy version here. Goggles of night. Okay.
[00:18:01] Speaker B: Goggles of night.
[00:18:02] Speaker G: Okay.
So you only get dark vision for one hour from adjusting the lens. And also a plus one perception check involving sight. So you would not. I don't know. I don't think dark vision gets super stacked.
[00:18:18] Speaker B: It's. Yet again, it's just like, it's a little bit complicated when going into like water, like, yeah, you can see things that are around it, but it essentially is without, like a light source. Your ability to see what's around you is very limited. You can only see.
[00:18:34] Speaker G: Hold on. Pause a second. If it's a source where light is constantly very limited. Does Kessie even have good eyesight? That wouldn't make any sense, would it, Fishy?
[00:18:46] Speaker C: Well, it would then be implied that Kessie has like other things, like the water version, the tremor sense. Yeah, yeah.
[00:18:54] Speaker G: But that doesn't mean if the light's on Lou or not, it shouldn't affect too much because like, who knows?
[00:19:01] Speaker C: There are fish that use light to lure in prey to eat.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: Yeah, maybe Cassie.
[00:19:09] Speaker B: Also, you also don't know what else is in the lake. You know, Cassie? Yes, but you don't know what else is in the lake. Right.
[00:19:14] Speaker G: Lakes have more than one creature in them. I forgot.
[00:19:16] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:19:17] Speaker A: Also, the lake contains a saboteur, potentially.
[00:19:20] Speaker B: This is a massive lake.
This is like Great Lakes size lake.
[00:19:26] Speaker G: Which Great Lake specifically?
[00:19:30] Speaker A: Doesn't matter. They're all pretty dang big.
[00:19:32] Speaker E: They're all great. Let me tell you. That shit looks like an ocean. The first time I saw it, I was really confused. How was I in Chicago and I was seeing the Atlantic Ocean?
[00:19:41] Speaker A: I've heard that were they not fresh water, they would be considered a sea bonkers. But yeah, he's actually devilishly shallow. Anyway, I'm gonna grab the cantrip card and hold it between my hands and just sort of do a little flick into the air and it's going to ring like a bell and it's going to burst into light that is a little bit shaped like a bell if you squint into it and it comes out bright red for a hot second before changing to yellow.
[00:20:15] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You do that and you start to wade into the water. It's. It's cold, you know, nothing really like as a. You know. And eventually you get to a point where your head goes underwater and you kind of have that like instinct to breathe. But you don't have to worry about freaking out because you all have water breathing for 24 hours.
And as you start the descent into the lake in sort of the general direction that you were given, I'm going to need perception checks from everyone.
[00:21:01] Speaker G: Well, it's a good thing I'm wearing those goggles to give me a plus one to perception checks.
[00:21:05] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:21:06] Speaker G: Wait, this doesn't involve sight because we're underwater, does it?
[00:21:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it does. You were still looking around.
[00:21:14] Speaker G: Thank you, Aubrey.
[00:21:16] Speaker C: I was gonna say. So does the dark vision help at all in this case or do we need to apply penalties?
[00:21:23] Speaker B: 23, there are no penalties because Especially because also you have the light source.
[00:21:29] Speaker F: I got a 27 as Alistair goes in and like instantly looks like he loses like 30 pounds as the fur just goes.
[00:21:41] Speaker G: Oh my God, he's gonna look like a jellyfish. Just around.
[00:21:45] Speaker C: I was gonna say Alistair's like prey instincts kick up because you're, you're a small rodent in water. So it's like, can you swim?
[00:21:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:51] Speaker C: Should you be swimming for this long?
But everybody on TikTok's like, look how cute it is.
[00:21:59] Speaker E: Anyways, I got a 29.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: 29.
[00:22:04] Speaker G: I got a 25, which I thought was really good until other people started saying their numbers.
[00:22:08] Speaker C: I rolled a 19 dirty 20.
I think the. It's not a horrible roll, but I think unfortunately Gravewing is cold blooded for real. So the cold water is a bit, is a bit more of a shock to the system for Edgy. She's got to acclimatize. Acclimatize, acclimatize. Please, somebody. I hope somebody else has seen that meme because it's so fucking funny.
[00:22:40] Speaker B: Okay. For a moment I was worried that Alyssa hadn't like fully put their sheet on here because I hadn't actually looked at it in a bit. But no, they did. So I can roll late's perception check, eh? Not bad.
Heading down and off in the distance you can kind of see this large shape. It's hard to see from where you are, but you're guessing that this is something to do with the temple, sort of a large almost mountain like shape underwater.
And as you all get closer and closer, Yurido, you clock this first. There's movement from all around you and fun fact, I all had you roll initiative.
[00:23:27] Speaker E: Fuck a notary.
[00:23:30] Speaker G: Fun fact, Aubrey.
[00:23:31] Speaker A: Thank you.
[00:23:33] Speaker B: As you see all of these figures start to emerge from the water.
You are all starting currently at about 20ft above the seafloor. All of these sort of. The drowned that you see around you, these sort of desiccated skeletons. There's kind of a reason why the drowned is a, is a very big, you know, thing. The, the whole returning the sailors lost at sea to their thing because this is what happens when you don't return the sailors who die at sea.
[00:24:09] Speaker A: This is just.
This is just what happens anywhere. Is this a malach specific fun thing?
[00:24:17] Speaker B: Yes. No.
You know, generally what happens when you have, you know, bodies that you don't return and just sort of let Fester in the water.
Yeah.
Okay. You will start it with Yuri. And we are using aquatic combat rules. So it's to swim, you need to make a athletic check DC10.
And when you do that you can move take one action to move up to half of your movement speed. Usually like rounded up. So like if you're it's like 1015ft. And also like you got to keep in like angles. All these people are about 20ft below you.
[00:25:11] Speaker E: So is the closest one to me 25ft away. Am I reading that right or.
[00:25:20] Speaker B: Yeah, it would be about like 25ft away. You'd have to go down or unless you had a weapon that has reach that is also you wouldn't have to go as far. And I believe the Sauron can be used with reach.
[00:25:32] Speaker E: I believe so. Doesn't it get like a clumsy or something?
[00:25:36] Speaker B: Yeah, it is clumsy. So it is a. It is a little bit harder to hit with. But it does have reach.
And while you're doing that other fun things about aquatic combat you are all considered off guard. Unless you have a swim speed. You do gain a resistance 5 to acid or fire damage.
You take a minus circumstance 2 circumstance penalty to melee, slashing or bludgeoning. Attacks that pass through water.
Ranged attacks that deal bludgeoning or slashing damage automatically miss if the attacker or target is underwater. Piercing ranged attacks made by an underwater creature or against a underwater target have their range increments halved.
Can't cast fire spells or use action with the fire trait any you know.
And essentially also you will also have to spend at least one action on your turn to if you want to stay where you are to tread water or you will sink 5ft at the end of your turn.
[00:26:36] Speaker E: Okay. I would like to use my movement. I believe it is two actions of my movement because our movement is half right as well underwater.
[00:26:45] Speaker B: Yeah. And I will need those athletics checks unless you have assurance for athletics.
[00:26:50] Speaker E: Do I. Do I have insurance? Insurance? I don't have insurance. But do I have insurance?
No. I took ward medic.
[00:27:03] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:27:03] Speaker E: But what I can do is I could do sudden charge.
That's still moving. So let me roll those athletics.
Let me use my first hero point consession because even though that would technically be 10, that was a natural.
So that's an 11.
[00:27:29] Speaker B: It succeeds.
[00:27:32] Speaker E: You need to do it once. It's technically two movements with.
[00:27:35] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll say percentage charge. You only need to do it once because it is great.
[00:27:40] Speaker E: And that means the last one I make a strike. I am going towards the one that looks different than everyone else right over here.
And I am using it with reach was clumsy do was just in the middle of pulling it up.
[00:28:01] Speaker B: I believe it's just like a minus one to. Oh, yeah.
[00:28:05] Speaker E: So it's like clumsy one. So it's a minus one. Okay, cool then. Oh, no, I don't want to minimize that page.
I will swing with it.
Let's use big D20 for Yuri.
Yeah, big D20. Let's go.
That is a 20.
Not unnatural 20.
[00:28:29] Speaker B: An unnatural 20. That will. That will hit the target.
[00:28:33] Speaker E: Oh, yes.
So Yuri is going to move fairly deftly for being built like a brick house, as they are like kind of swinging and using the weight of the surrounds to kind of direct them towards this. Whatever. And.
[00:28:54] Speaker B: Holy.
[00:28:57] Speaker E: I'm gonna do 21 slashing damage.
[00:29:05] Speaker B: 21 slashing damage? Yeah.
[00:29:11] Speaker E: Does it feel like it all goes through? Does it like to feel any more resistance than usual?
[00:29:19] Speaker B: If you feel like maybe not all the slashing damage goes through. This is creature doesn't look a little skeletal, but, you know, a decent amount of the damage goes through.
[00:29:33] Speaker E: Okay. And then sudden charge is two actions. So I'm just going to.
Oh. I'm gonna use my last action to study enemy.
I make a recall knowledge on the enemy using monster lore.
I assume I can use monster lore on this.
[00:29:53] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:29:56] Speaker E: All right, so you don't want me to attack, but you want me to learn Knowledge is power. I get it, dice.
[00:30:01] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:30:02] Speaker E: That's a 23.
[00:30:04] Speaker B: A 23. You have two questions.
[00:30:07] Speaker E: Does it have any resistances?
[00:30:10] Speaker B: Yes, it has resistance five to cold, electricity, fire, and slashing.
[00:30:17] Speaker E: Oh, okay.
Does it have any weaknesses?
[00:30:29] Speaker B: It does not, but I will give you its immunities as well.
Death, Death effects, disease, mental, paralyzed, poison and unconscious.
[00:30:38] Speaker E: Okay. I relay that information as much as I could selling. Allow. Just hit him with something blunt. But it's on the waters. Like.
[00:30:54] Speaker B: We got.
[00:30:54] Speaker A: We can't talk. Can we talk Underwater?
[00:30:56] Speaker B: You can 100 talk.
You know, the. Essentially you're breathing water like you would air.
[00:31:04] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:31:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:07] Speaker G: Why you sound like that?
[00:31:09] Speaker C: Okay, listen, it's breathe underwater, not hear underwater. So. Yeah, this is gonna still come out a little mumbled.
[00:31:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:31:17] Speaker G: But not bubbly. I just want to give you a shit.
[00:31:23] Speaker E: That's my turn. It's altering my actions.
[00:31:25] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And that'll bring us to Alistair.
[00:31:29] Speaker F: All right, so we said resistant to electricity, cold, slashing and fire.
[00:31:37] Speaker E: Fire and immunity, death effects, mental effects, paralysis, unconsciousness. Yeah, that makes sense. Like it's a zombie.
[00:31:50] Speaker F: So not resistant to piercing is what I'm hearing.
Just double checking. I heard that, right? Because I was looking at these skeletons and I'm like, oh, these are tough targets.
[00:32:05] Speaker B: Yeah. There's still enough flesh on the bones that they still can be, like, injured by piercing damage.
[00:32:11] Speaker F: Okay, so there's a skeleton.
Gotcha.
[00:32:18] Speaker B: They're, like, halfway between a zombie and a skeleton.
[00:32:23] Speaker F: Okay, so I will take a look at the one next to me. Well, I guess it's probably next to me and down 20ft.
[00:32:38] Speaker B: Yes, they are all currently on the floor.
[00:32:44] Speaker F: I will devise a stratagem as part of that.
I will also make a check.
Oh, I have Lore undead, so I forgot that I took that.
And these are not part of any thing. They're just zombies.
Here we go.
[00:33:19] Speaker B: You can ask three things. You critically succeeded on that.
[00:33:27] Speaker F: Perfect. So we know immunities, we know resistances.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: And they don't have any weakness. They don't have any weaknesses.
Lowest saving throw for the one that Yuri hit.
[00:33:43] Speaker F: For the one that.
[00:33:47] Speaker B: For the one that. Okay. The one that's right there. Okay.
Lowest saving throw is a. Is a fortitude save.
[00:33:55] Speaker F: Okay. Not good at fortitude saves.
Oh, man. Forget all the questions that normally go along with this.
[00:34:06] Speaker B: You can ask if they have any special actions. You can ask if they have any passives, like what skills they do have. A swim speed.
[00:34:21] Speaker F: Oh, man.
I guess they learned how to swim when they died.
[00:34:28] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:34:32] Speaker F: And I want to ask a silly one, but I can't think of any silly questions.
[00:34:42] Speaker G: Are they single?
[00:34:43] Speaker F: What rank was he?
[00:34:45] Speaker G: Oh, good.
[00:34:47] Speaker B: This is. This was just your. Your general, like, you know, crewman. This one didn't have a rank. This is your general. Like, general pirate crew.
[00:34:59] Speaker F: Okay, fair enough. I'm sorry. Me swabby.
I. I think that's what you would say to a player, but because I got a shared stratagem.
Oh, no. You have to hit for that.
If you critically succeed, you notice a weakness and get plus one bonus to your attack roll from devise a stratagem.
And if you immediately convey this information to your allies as part of the check, each ally gaze a plus one circumstance bonus to their next attack roll against the subject as long as their attack is made before the beginning of the next turn.
So I point out, look at this, swabby, and give everyone a plus one. And take that plus one myself.
There we go.
A flat 10.
And sounds like with all of those things.
Yeah, we'll see how a 10 does as I shoot a crossbow bolt with him. Take advantage of my plus one.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: All right.
What is that in total?
A 21 will hit.
[00:36:30] Speaker F: There we go for 14 piercing.
[00:36:35] Speaker B: All right. They take the damage as you thunk a crossbow bolt into their ribs.
[00:36:45] Speaker F: All right.
[00:36:46] Speaker B: Three actions.
[00:36:48] Speaker F: That is all my actions. Yes. And I will sink 5ft. Does that happen at the beginning of the next round?
[00:36:55] Speaker B: Happens at the end of your turn.
[00:36:57] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:36:59] Speaker B: All right. The it is the first of the drowns turn.
This one sees Grave Wing as its closest target.
So it is going to spend two actions to swim up and over to Grave Wing because it has a swim speed. It's not the fastest swim speed but also it means it doesn't count as off guard because remember anything that you all get from underwater combat, they also get.
And it is going to spent its last action to attack you graveling with these sort of like bone claws.
No, it's not for a one for an 11 and I will pull its critical fumble cart.
It's this. This one looks like it's had a hard underwater undead life.
And as it is moving it kind of dislodges a rock which gets it in the head and it takes the card is battered and it will take a minus circumstance penalty to checks and saving throws until healed.
[00:38:20] Speaker C: Yeah, if it lives. If it survives, that means forever I die.
[00:38:28] Speaker B: Niall is now your turn, Tippy.
[00:38:32] Speaker G: So I have done math in advance, which is a miracle for a spellcaster. Let me double check the spell really quickly before I mess up. Where are you? Hello, little buddy. This is a 30 foot cone and I don't remember what the worst saving there was, but it's not the one I'm going to be using. So we'll see how this goes.
I am going to get the three little guys below me and for two actions I'm going to cast them. Vomit storm. I'm going to need some basic reflex saves. Everyone.
Not everyone, but like the guys. The cringe guys.
It is technically piercing. It's two to eight piercings so it's not going to too much.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: But I will let you know for that. Any piercing attacks, the range increment is halved.
[00:39:21] Speaker G: Oh, it's halved?
[00:39:22] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:39:24] Speaker G: Ah, hold on, let me check what's My brain just did not register that. Hold on.
[00:39:28] Speaker B: Yeah. In any of these attacks that do piercing damage will be halved. Even if they're ranging. Even if it's a cone.
[00:39:37] Speaker G: Pause. The damage it does is half or the distance it goes is half the.
[00:39:41] Speaker B: Distance it goes is halved.
[00:39:42] Speaker G: Okay, hold on, let me see if I can. Can I replace this cone or is it just decided that God is dead? Oh, there we go. I just have to kill it. So it's gonna be a 15A cone instead which I can get these two guys done. Yeah, there we go. I can do that.
It's a tinier cone, but it does what it has to do.
[00:40:01] Speaker B: So I have a 26 and a natural 20 for a 30.
[00:40:05] Speaker G: I think you should get the fuck out of my household.
[00:40:07] Speaker B: You're in my house.
[00:40:10] Speaker G: Well, not from my perspective. I hope one of them take. I think one of them takes half damage at least or is gonna take like one point of damage in general.
[00:40:20] Speaker B: The other one is kind of able to take a step back a little bit and miss the vomit swarm. And then.
[00:40:28] Speaker G: Yeah, well, that is 12 points of damage halved. And then also resisted. So six resisted. So it does a little bit of damage at least.
And then third action. Ye olde reliable shield is going to come into this house tonight because I am not sitting here without. And I. I'll take the five foot sink, I guess, unfortunately.
But I am going to. Honestly, I'm sinking like a rock. I'm using shield spell and that is my turn with the three actions.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: Okay. And yeah, the one of the ones that you just attacked is going to take two actions to swim up next to you and is going to attack you with its claws.
[00:41:19] Speaker G: Final shit after this. God damn.
[00:41:24] Speaker B: So it is a 25 to hit you.
[00:41:28] Speaker G: Hold on. So that would be a crit if I didn't use shield.
Now it's a regular hit.
[00:41:34] Speaker B: All right. Did you want to use your reaction to shield block it so you'll take less damage?
[00:41:41] Speaker G: That would be very sexy. Yes.
[00:41:44] Speaker B: All right.
However much your shield will reduce, this is going to be 8 slashing damage.
[00:41:53] Speaker G: So it says reducing it by 5. So it should do. It has hardness 5. So it reduces by 5 and it breaks.
[00:41:59] Speaker B: Yep, Yep.
[00:42:00] Speaker G: Okay. I also can't cast it for another hour. I did not realize that at the first.
[00:42:04] Speaker B: I don't if. If you. You can cast it as many times, but it will only trigger that if you use the shield block reaction.
[00:42:13] Speaker G: I don't use shield block a lot, so.
[00:42:15] Speaker B: So you're going to take that and then I'm also going to need you to give me a fortitude save.
[00:42:21] Speaker G: Oh, my God. Hold on. That's not very good.
[00:42:25] Speaker E: That's.
[00:42:26] Speaker G: That's an 18. I say, shrugging my shoulders.
[00:42:30] Speaker B: You're pretty sure you're fine.
[00:42:32] Speaker G: I don't like that.
[00:42:34] Speaker B: I'm pretty sure you're fine. These claws. Don't these claws look a little gnarly? So, you know, you might not want to let them hit you too much, but you pretty sure you're fine. And that's the end of its turn. So you can run away now.
And then another one has to spend all three of its actions to come in on the other side of you. Graveling.
[00:42:56] Speaker A: Graveling's in the kill box.
[00:43:00] Speaker C: Nah, baby, not with the types of damage I can do.
[00:43:05] Speaker A: We can continue on 3D all vertices.
[00:43:12] Speaker B: Right. And then we have another skeletal champion. And this one is going to spend its three actions to come in with Nile. And this three actions can't do anything else. And then that'll bring us to Louis.
[00:43:27] Speaker A: Okay, so Lou is 20ft above the closest dude.
[00:43:32] Speaker B: No, these are now up 20ft as well. These have gone come into melee range with graveling.
[00:43:39] Speaker A: Okay, so everybody. Everybody right now is essentially on the same level, give or take five feet.
[00:43:44] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:43:45] Speaker A: Okay, cool. That means I have a chance of hitting them.
I assume I'm in hitting range with a sword.
[00:43:57] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:58] Speaker A: Okay. Normally I would be like, yes, of course. But we're underwater and things are weird now, so just checking.
Okay, so we're gonna do our little exploit vulnerability.
I don't think there's anything new to learn here. I already know you don't have weaknesses, but we're just gonna see if I get to have a little bonus to things.
Oh, my goodness. Why did you let me down? So we're not gonna have a little bonus unless a 13 does. Nope. Sorry. Unless a 17 is enough. 17.
Yeah, 17.
[00:44:34] Speaker B: That's better for your esoteric lore.
[00:44:38] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that's.
[00:44:39] Speaker B: That works. It's a 16.
[00:44:41] Speaker C: I rolled a five.
I did not think that was gonna make it.
[00:44:45] Speaker B: The. The dc.
[00:44:47] Speaker A: I shouldn't have doubted you, Belle. I knew better.
Yeah, so we already know they don't have a weakness because you said so twice.
[00:44:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:56] Speaker A: So personal antithesis.
I think she's just gonna, like, reach forward and pluck a piece of coral off of the closest one because coral is alive and the same are dead and is then going to stab it with one hand and give her bell a little weird muffled ring with the other hand.
It sounds interesting. She's gonna file away that sound for later because honestly, that would be pretty cool.
And let's see here. How does one attack anymore? What have I got here?
I don't know why 11.
[00:45:46] Speaker B: And 11 and 11 will not hit.
[00:45:51] Speaker A: I'm shocked. You know what? I don't care about height. I'm going to give another go.
That's better. That's much better. That is 22.
[00:46:05] Speaker B: 22 will hit.
[00:46:09] Speaker A: Yeah. 22. Sorry. Max Rad.
Then you roll damage. Gosh, yes. I haven't played any TTRPGs okay. I did Corrupted. I ran corrupted Friday, which, apart from the never stop blowing up, which I don't know how much that counts because everything just happens.
I.
I haven't played anything. And that one I was running, I didn't even roll dice. I. And it didn't even do combat. I just psyched them out for three hours, and it was fun. It looks like I did 12 damage, but that's not counting my bonuses of, I think 3, 2, plus half your level.
[00:46:47] Speaker B: Jeez.
[00:46:48] Speaker A: 4.
So 12 plus 4 is 16. 16 piercing, I should add, because it's a rapier. And then I'm gonna flounder and sink.
[00:47:03] Speaker B: Yep. Go down sink five feet.
[00:47:07] Speaker A: Taking the light five feet with me.
[00:47:11] Speaker B: All right, so Yuri, you are the one that you are facing off against. Is now going through to go. Will spend its first action to swim up to your level and is going to.
You notice it has this sort of corroded, rusted long sword in one of its hands, and it's going to swing at you with that. Might want to get tested for tetanus after this.
[00:47:47] Speaker E: Oh, no. I've got the curse of tetanus.
[00:47:52] Speaker B: So we have a 21 tissue that does it. All right, I'm gonna need a 42 tape from you.
[00:48:00] Speaker E: I'm not gonna use the dice. It's been very neat. Me.
Do you say? Do you think we'd have another hero point right now?
[00:48:10] Speaker B: I don't think it's burn an hour yet.
[00:48:12] Speaker E: Wait, let me see. I texted Alyssa when we first started it.
[00:48:18] Speaker B: Yeah. I was like, I don't think it's been an hour yet.
[00:48:21] Speaker E: So for the tude, I have decent saves if I remember. Where the hell are they? It's not my best, unfortunately. So that with a plus eight is gonna be a nine, because I rolled a one.
[00:48:36] Speaker B: We'll come back to that later.
And then it's going to deliver one more attack at you.
[00:48:50] Speaker E: How much damage do they do?
[00:48:52] Speaker B: You are going to take 12 damage.
[00:48:56] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:48:57] Speaker B: And then it swings at you again for a 23 that also hits.
[00:49:04] Speaker E: I need to make another four to save.
[00:49:08] Speaker B: Not currently.
It would be for 10 damage the second time.
[00:49:13] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:49:16] Speaker B: And we have, as you watch out of this bed of coral, another one of these skeletal first mates seems to arise and is gonna have to literally spend its, like, entire first round to get over to where you are, Louis. But it is about 10ft below you.
[00:49:41] Speaker C: I.
But I don't. I don't know. I don't know if. If my stand still comes into play yet. I don't know if that works because. Because of how. I mean, we're. I have to take 3D movement, which means I have 3D range into account.
[00:49:57] Speaker B: But this one is going to be traveling about 10ft underneath you.
[00:50:03] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah, that was like. That's. That. That would. That's fine. Yeah, it's. It's the. It's the monk one. Right. So it's really is just like all movement but within range.
[00:50:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
Would you have five feet of range generally? Unless you.
[00:50:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:50:18] Speaker B: Something else.
[00:50:19] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm not big yet.
[00:50:21] Speaker B: Yeah. But, yeah, it just sort of comes to front up on Lou, and then it's your turn. Great Wing.
[00:50:28] Speaker C: And I finish my teeth. Let's go. All right, y'all, like I said earlier, this. This little kill box is actually a detriment to them. They made my job easier. I'm literally just getting. Moving my drawing tablet out of the way. I've been drawing grave wing titties this whole time.
So I have a question about the sinking part. I don't have to do that first. Right. I can just do my other shit, essentially.
[00:50:53] Speaker B: As long as you can either spend one action to just tread water and not move move, or you can. If you move, to spend an action to move at any point. You do not need to spend an action to tread water. So you. If you don't spend any movement actions, you will sink five feet.
[00:51:09] Speaker C: I. Yeah. The other question I was going to ask about treading water is, does that count as movement?
The sinking specifically count as movement? For me, this is once again, because of standstill. I just want to know if. Decide to. To sink. If I could just be like, ha. Because they're only moving five feet, but they're still moving from a space, a square space.
[00:51:33] Speaker E: I don't think that counts for st.
[00:51:35] Speaker B: I don't think it is because it does not count as voluntary movement.
[00:51:39] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:51:40] Speaker B: Because involuntary movement does not trip attacks of opportunity.
[00:51:45] Speaker C: Okay, that's. That's good to know. Because I need you to know if you allowed it. I was gonna abuse the out of sinking.
Okay, that's really good to know. I will do the action to tread water, and then I'm going to. So that's my first action treading water.
My second action is Floria blows, stunning blows kind of vibe here. I'm gonna do the.
I believe the guy that. The guy that crit failed to hit me.
[00:52:25] Speaker B: The one right in front of you.
[00:52:26] Speaker C: Yeah, the one right in front of me. So I'm gonna do that one first in particular. And if he dies, Then I will move on to the other one that's in front of me, but also could potentially hit Nile just because there is. I am.
I am. I am. I am inferring based on the names that those two will die faster than.
[00:52:57] Speaker G: The big one who hit me with attacks. I'll die faster than both of them.
[00:53:07] Speaker C: Also, I want to point out that I'm technically in. In my. My dragon stance, because I'm in my tail, and we have established that tail mode is dragon stance. So are you ready for 2d10 plus 3 bludgeoning damage that won't get fucking halved?
Because I am.
Okay, let me. Let me roll. Let me roll.
[00:53:32] Speaker G: Please, mother, save us.
[00:53:35] Speaker C: Did I have to roll to shred water? No, that's just a. To. To, like, swim.
[00:53:39] Speaker G: No, I think you have to roll.
[00:53:40] Speaker C: I asked after roll, right?
[00:53:42] Speaker B: It's. It's a DC10 athletics check.
[00:53:44] Speaker C: DC10. Okay. Okay.
[00:53:45] Speaker G: And this is an action.
[00:53:46] Speaker C: Yeah, let me do that real quick. I'll pass the DC10 with a 17 on and a low roll.
I have an. I have a plus 11. I literally can't fail unless I roll a one.
[00:54:01] Speaker B: Roll a one.
[00:54:02] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:54:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:54:03] Speaker C: So that's. That's the fun. That's a little fun thing with me. So we know above table when I just say pass 28 and 23, because.
[00:54:11] Speaker B: I roll the 18 twice, they will both hit.
[00:54:15] Speaker C: Nice.
Now let's see if I can. See if I can kill this. This guy just outright.
I need more dice. One second. Just. Just pause for getting dice.
That's 32 total.
Yeah.
[00:54:36] Speaker G: Yeah, 32.
[00:54:37] Speaker C: 32.
[00:54:38] Speaker B: You're gonna take out the guy right in front of you.
[00:54:40] Speaker C: Nice. If you need a breakdown, it was 14 and 18 for the damage, so, yeah, Grave wing's just gonna.
In snake form fighting the undead underwater.
[00:54:54] Speaker G: Thanks, Mom.
[00:54:56] Speaker C: Mom doesn't have to hold back, so she just really quickly kind of honestly coils around the first one and then moves in such a way that she just crushes it and rips it apart with her body so she can face the other one. And this one's going to be at a bigger penalty, but I. I might as well try to hit it. We're just gonna. We're just gonna. We're just gonna do a little. A little punch or something.
I think my.
I have very good athletics, though, so it shouldn't be.
What am I saying? Not athletics. I'm very good to hit, so it shouldn't be horrible. I'm pretty sure it's. Yeah, it's a flat roll. Not no negatives.
This is the year we don't hold back that toady.
[00:55:55] Speaker B: So yeah, you. You will. And I will pull your critical hit card.
[00:56:01] Speaker C: I also can do the. The you gave me predator skill, right?
It works on crits specifically. Yeah. Critically succeed attack. Well, it says in a fixed weapon, but the. The weapon is by my hands. Right? Yeah.
[00:56:15] Speaker B: So, yeah, okay. This is a really cool card, but it doesn't really make sense for what you're. You're doing. The card is called Earth Rumble and it's normal damage, but you know, targeting each enemy adjacent to it must succeed at a reflex save or fall prone. Can't really do that underwater, so I'm going to draw you another one. But that's a really cool card.
[00:56:35] Speaker C: That's a really cool card.
[00:56:36] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:56:39] Speaker C: Especially in this form because I could like, it would make so much sense. Ah.
[00:56:44] Speaker B: This one is called Soul Crushing Blow.
The target is doomed one and stupefied one as long as it is doomed. But we'll also see if it even survives the hit.
[00:56:58] Speaker C: That's so good. So according to my. My critical specialization. Because it. It. Wait, wait, wait, wait one second. I gotta read the predator's claw again.
Oh. Huh? Wait.
Get. But didn't. Wouldn't it. Oh, my brain farted for a second. Yeah. No, I can still use this. Okay.
[00:57:23] Speaker G: Sorry.
[00:57:25] Speaker C: So yeah, my. Because of the predator's claw, my critical specialization gets activated. So it also needs to succeed a fortitude, save or be slowed one until the end of my next turn.
But like, again, let's just see if we survive. Like, if it survives.
Did we do anything special for criticals?
[00:57:50] Speaker B: I pulled your critical hit card and then it's just double damage.
[00:57:53] Speaker C: Just double damage.
[00:57:54] Speaker B: Double everything.
[00:57:55] Speaker C: Yeah.
Okay. Okay.
[00:57:58] Speaker B: What's.
[00:57:58] Speaker C: What's a second? I don't know why I put away the detens like a fool. I'm a fool.
Oh my God. This thing's gonna die. No, wait. No. No shot it survives. Actually. No shot it survives. No shot. No shot. No shot. That's. Yeah, that's 36. I didn't even add the. The threes yet. One second, one second. No shot. Like, it's actually gone 100. Yeah. 42 becomes 42. Yeah.
[00:58:27] Speaker B: Yeah. You were rapidly approaching double its health.
[00:58:31] Speaker C: Yeah. That's nice. Like I said, isn't this form great? Isn't this form. This one? This is. This is the scenario, okay? This is. This is the exact scenario that I needed to be in for this. What an excellent way to start the fucking year.
So. Yeah. Fully ripped apart the last Guy.
And then I take, like, the torso that's left, and I started beating the other one with the torso. And I think I just one swing hit it, and that's enough to just shatter the body entirely. So now it's just floating pieces of corpses in its wake. And by its wake, I mean Gravewing.
Really living up to this name right.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Now of 100% putting the dead back where they belong.
[00:59:18] Speaker G: Is it a free action to look in purifier horror? Is these guys up and just remember not to get on our bad side.
[00:59:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I'm fully hissing and. Because, like, I'm like, all in, so I might as well just keep leaning in. Okay. I hope Kessie's around the corner being like, that's.
[00:59:34] Speaker G: That's.
[00:59:35] Speaker C: Yeah, that's it. That's the one. You know, like, I hope, I hope, I hope this is a really good interview, you know, this is a really good performance interview so that Kessie can join the team.
[00:59:46] Speaker A: There's like a shower of bones falling on Lugh, who's like, right behind you, but slightly lower.
[00:59:52] Speaker B: Yep. Leith, it is now your turn.
[00:59:56] Speaker D: Okay, I will swing over to flank the one next to Alouette. Flanking with graveling. And did I hear that I have to spend an action to not sink?
[01:00:08] Speaker B: You spent an action to move, so you don't have to worry about that.
[01:00:11] Speaker D: Oh, beautiful. Okay, then I am going to look at my character sheet to figure out how things work.
[01:00:26] Speaker B: You know what? I think it's. What you do is I think it's absolutely hilarious that we do underwater combat in this game and not the one inspired by Greek myth where there's so much water.
[01:00:35] Speaker A: So much water.
[01:00:37] Speaker C: We barely did boat battles.
[01:00:39] Speaker A: We did it in the landlocked campaign right now.
[01:00:42] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. This is so genuinely funny. We were like, damn, we all didn't have any water stuff. And I'm fairly certain two of us had water shit. For the last.
[01:00:53] Speaker F: Yep.
[01:00:55] Speaker D: I assume we have the water breathing stuff on.
[01:00:59] Speaker B: Yes. You still have the water breathing, so you're good for. For 24 hours.
[01:01:05] Speaker D: Great. Because my con is not good.
So waithe is going to. Yeah, just stab it with a dagger, which is piercing.
Going to use a hero point on that natural one.
[01:01:20] Speaker B: Really good idea.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: You and Dusty matched.
[01:01:25] Speaker D: That's a nat 20.
[01:01:27] Speaker G: Yeah.
[01:01:28] Speaker C: Let's go, go. Let's go.
[01:01:31] Speaker G: Match.
[01:01:32] Speaker C: This is great. This is great.
[01:01:34] Speaker D: So that's 16 damage.
[01:01:38] Speaker B: All right. And I'm pulling your card.
And this is bicep wound target is enfeebled one until healed.
[01:01:50] Speaker D: Nice. It's actually 18 damage because I forgot to add my bonus. My one strength bonus.
And I will attempt to strike again.
25 to hit.
[01:02:08] Speaker B: 25'S gonna hit.
[01:02:12] Speaker D: And that is eight damage.
[01:02:15] Speaker B: And as you do this and you stab into him the second time, sort of you hit something in like the chest cavity. And this skeleton kind of sh and rattles and then kind of explodes.
And Laithe. Lou and Gravewing. I need reflex saves as you try to dodge bone splinters that are going everywhere.
[01:02:43] Speaker A: Why would you do this to a slave?
[01:02:46] Speaker D: I missed the first part of combat. I didn't know they exploded.
[01:02:50] Speaker B: It is new.
[01:02:56] Speaker D: I'm just trying to follow in the footsteps of my idol. But anyway, I got a 27.
[01:03:01] Speaker G: You'll never be as good as her.
[01:03:02] Speaker F: I am.
[01:03:03] Speaker A: Wow.
19.
[01:03:07] Speaker C: 29.
So what am I saying? 25. Holy shit. My bad. My bad.
[01:03:14] Speaker B: So the DC was 15.
So Leith and Gray Wing, you critically succeeded. And Lou, you will only take Half damage of 5.
[01:03:22] Speaker G: 5.
[01:03:22] Speaker B: 5 slashing damage as you get hit by some of these little bone shards.
[01:03:28] Speaker A: So far, I've only taken damage from an Alice.
[01:03:33] Speaker B: All right, and so we will come to skeleton. One of the other drowns. Turn. This one is going to spend two actions to get closer to Alistair and then is going to attack with you notice it has a bit. It's like a boarding pike in its hands. So it is going to skewer the. The rat.
I don't think a 17 hits. You.
[01:04:07] Speaker F: Just wait. Actually, it might because you were all.
[01:04:13] Speaker B: Considered off guard because none of you have a swim speed.
[01:04:18] Speaker F: Which is a minus two circumstance penalty.
[01:04:21] Speaker B: That is I applied it to all of your sheets, so it should already all be there.
[01:04:27] Speaker F: Okay. I was wondering why my AC was so low. So yes, that does miss.
[01:04:32] Speaker B: Thank goodness you're fine. You're able to, you know, paddle out of the way of this boarding pike.
And we come to another and this one sees Yuri having fun, so it decides to join the party.
[01:04:50] Speaker E: They're not invited.
[01:04:53] Speaker B: Too bad. They're here.
And so that is two actions to get to the proper spot. And is going to also attack with a boarding pike.
[01:05:02] Speaker E: Oh, Fun.
[01:05:05] Speaker B: For a 23.
[01:05:08] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[01:05:09] Speaker B: That hits for another eight damage.
[01:05:14] Speaker E: Well, I was gonna go be steam mode, but now that's a bad idea. Now.
[01:05:23] Speaker B: Death by a thousand cuts.
[01:05:26] Speaker E: It's just. It would be a very dumb decision to do because reason, bro, you can attack me.
[01:05:34] Speaker D: We know you want to.
[01:05:39] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. And this one that you attacked.
Alistair is going to come and say hi and is going to also follow up with its boarding pike for a 25.
[01:06:00] Speaker F: That one will crit.
Wait, is it. Is it plus 5 or plus 10?
Okay, so that one will just hit.
[01:06:11] Speaker B: Okay, I was like.
So you're going to take nine piercing damage. And can you give me a.
A fortitude save.
[01:06:23] Speaker F: If it'll actually click 22?
[01:06:29] Speaker B: A 22? You're pretty sure you're fine. Just don't think about how rusty and algae covered this pike is.
[01:06:39] Speaker D: Don't give the mouse pet miss.
[01:06:42] Speaker E: Don't worry, Yuri got it already.
