Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming.
[00:01:30] Speaker B: Hello everybody, I'm Aubrey and welcome back to Gobbleton Gaze.
Tell us everyone players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing and then we'll get rolling into things.
[00:01:39] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Maki. My pronouns are she, her and I play Gravewing, the Nagaji sylph, vigilante monk, air kineticist who also uses she her pronouns and she is the party mom slash strategist of the rebellion.
[00:01:57] Speaker D: Hello, hello, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them and I play Laith Idrisi iv, the matricidal, dampier, dandy, rogue and spymaster who uses she any pronouns.
[00:02:10] Speaker E: Hello, I am Dusty, I use they he pronouns and I'm playing Yurido, just Yurido. Still, they are our nephilim cursed boy of a problem.
They are going to be the party and is rebellious firebrand and they also use they he pronouns.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris, I use she her pronouns and I am playing Alouette Valer, a totally normal Nephilim thaumaturge bard having a very normal and good time learning all about her way more cursed family.
She also uses she her pronouns and is the anathema partisan.
[00:02:48] Speaker F: Hello, I am Sparlock, and both me and my character use he him pronouns.
I'm going by Alistair Whiskerfield, wizard detective extraordinaire, heir to the fine distinguished family of wizard mice, Ratzerts, Esoki, Arcanists.
I swear I was always aware of it. I keep my whiskers to the ground to uncover the truth of the powers that be who subjugate us, by which I mean I'm our recruiter and hello.
[00:03:20] Speaker G: To round off the group. I am Tick, I have he, she, they pronouns. And today you'll be playing Nile, a flesh warp sorcerer who is just a totally ordinary cook and quartermaster for the group and definitely not a cannibal parenthesis. He's cannibal, but it's a dietary restriction, so don't be too mean to him.
[00:03:39] Speaker B: So who wants to tell me what happened last time?
[00:03:42] Speaker G: I'm rolling into my jaw like a little rolling creature. Last time we had the power of women on our side and lesbians.
Alouette and Alistair managed to sneak off from the party and obtain some very important weaponry for the group that we had smuggled in in advance, AKA mostly For Leith, because Leith needs her knives. A girl needs her knives. What can I say?
Honestly, Peak. So we got some weapons, we distributed them. We met up with Whiskey Jack and Whiskey was like, hey, I could give you guys some help, but all of you have to give me a little secret. And we're all like, yeah, that's fair.
The level of importance kind of depends on the person. I for one, hope that Whiskey Jack does not distribute this tea and scones recipe if he gets it, because if he does, he's dead fucking meat.
Although he's just bones, as we'll see soon.
A bunch of the other gays, which was Juniper, Lace, Moth mom, which is graveling, and Lorelei all went to the control room and they were like, oh, the girls just need a, like a little guiding round. And like in 30 seconds, like in three seconds, we kind of just marked everyone in cold blood without hesitation. Which honestly shout out to the lesbians for getting all the crits a round of applause, dare I say so we got control of the room just as Cygnus came and lifted Yuri and Yellowjacket out of the floor. Instead of giving a dramatic speech about them, like, hey, these guys suck, like a lot.
I missed this dramatic speech, but that's basically probably the summary of it.
And then it's like a toast to drinking poison. I mean, I mean, hating these guys.
Definitely no poison here, as we're like, I think there might be some poison here.
And so we ended the last session with the two gays of life and graveling descending from the fucking heavens like the fruitiest fuckers you've ever seen and doing the pose and everything, like literally using ability called I'm so cool. I. I don't care what a will save is. I am fabulous. You know, the power of being Dulu is a strong one. That's how she's gotten away from the layette accusations as long as possible in game.
And then Whiskey Jack, like taking off his hood, going sans undertale on us all, AKA actually showing he is Ghost Rider.
And then summoning skeletons from the floor like, it's going to be a 2010s music video. Except instead of a music video, a lot of rich people are going to have a very bad time time.
So yeah, that's kind of what happened last time. Now we've got skeletons on the dance floor and we're gonna start breakdancing with the devil.
That's buble water, by the way. It's not alcohol. I just thought it'd be very thematic to crack that open Right there.
[00:06:20] Speaker B: All right.
Yeah. We pick back up right as all of this is happening. The lights and, you know, the Larks Pass sins are being revisited on them.
Start with you, Yuri. What are you doing?
[00:06:41] Speaker E: Taking this opportunity to deck sickness.
And I don't think I have to worry about Tristan jumping into action right now. And so I don't think I need to tell them anything. I want a deck sickness and.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: Start.
[00:06:59] Speaker E: Like, making sure the people I know that are here getting out and trying to run as well.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: Yeah. Give me a melee attack.
[00:07:11] Speaker E: My dice. Said you specifically dust sickness.
That I think said 29.
[00:07:20] Speaker B: 29.
Yeah.
29. Will.
Will hit. Roll me. That damage, I think it's.
[00:07:32] Speaker E: For me, it's still just a D4 plus my strength because I'm not proficient on any of that.
Six whole damage.
[00:07:43] Speaker B: Yeah. You, you clock him and you know, book it.
[00:07:51] Speaker E: Yeah. And I, I, I think I'm just yelling like, no one drink the purple drinks. Throw them away. Throw it away.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: I think it's safe to say that the poison is not going to be drank because everyone's a little bit freaked out about skeletons.
[00:08:05] Speaker E: Yeah. Skeletons don't drink it. You're listening.
[00:08:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:10] Speaker E: I would like to meet with Lou specifically since they're probably the closest.
[00:08:15] Speaker B: And yeah, Tristan will sort of split the difference and run towards Grave Wing.
It's really the only other person he knows there.
[00:08:25] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:08:31] Speaker A: Hugging. Gonna hug you.
And also in the process of hugging you, it's going to, like, pull off a little weird necklace she's wearing and just spin it so it catches the light and casts a rainbow prism on the floor, which is gonna summon your gun.
Oh, not your big gun. One of your little guns.
[00:09:03] Speaker E: Maybe. Like, the pistols are arquebus.
[00:09:06] Speaker A: Whatever. If it's one bulk, I brought it.
[00:09:09] Speaker E: Okay. I'll say one of the pistols. Like, that's the new trick.
Hugging back and just.
Thank you. We need to make sure everyone gets healthier now.
[00:09:18] Speaker A: I got the other one too. Hold on.
I believe we said we brought the. The. The bigger. The.
[00:09:25] Speaker B: The. Was it the.
Yeah.
[00:09:30] Speaker A: I will also fish that out from under the skirt.
[00:09:36] Speaker E: Incredible.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: This is why discards are big.
[00:09:39] Speaker E: You're so right.
[00:09:41] Speaker A: Incredible pockets based on you.
[00:09:45] Speaker E: Great.
[00:09:45] Speaker A: Are you okay?
Are you hurt?
[00:09:49] Speaker E: I've got better.
I've got better. It's been a couple days. Week.
You can talk about it later.
[00:09:59] Speaker A: Okay.
I just got the door.
[00:10:02] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:10:03] Speaker A: We should get out of here.
[00:10:05] Speaker E: Yeah.
I would like to scan to see where everyone else is.
[00:10:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a little bit chaotic currently, so if you Want to look? Give me a perception check. And it's kind of also at this moment you kind of hear. Start hearing the clicking noises as the gears in the ballroom are shifting. You can kind of watch as some of the walls start to move and shift.
[00:10:28] Speaker E: That's only an 18 for me.
[00:10:33] Speaker B: I'd say. You see, you see Laith, you see Tristan, you see Gravewing, you don't see Alistair or Niall.
[00:10:42] Speaker E: Okay. I think I'm gonna motion to like maybe grave wing to with my surround to like to head out. I'm gonna say is, is the, is the house moving you? Is that us?
Incredible. All right, we need to get going now.
[00:11:03] Speaker C: I point to where I know the servants, the hidden servants, exits, entrances, whatever are paths. That's the word I'm looking for.
I point to them, but I'm not going to say much.
I'm just gonna point to him. Also, I don't hug my brother in law. This is not the space or time for it. But I do pull a gun out of my bloomers and we'll give it to him.
[00:11:32] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:11:34] Speaker B: Yeah. He will take it sort of like quickly, deftly, you know, check it, make sure it's good and sort of tuck it into, you know, his, his, his pants as he's like looking around. And as soon as you point towards the servants entrances, he's also aware of them as well as somebody who's lived in this house before and would sneak out quite a bit.
And we'll start moving with you towards them. What is everyone else doing?
[00:12:06] Speaker D: There was a guard with Yuri and Cygnus and Tristan. Or did they stay down?
[00:12:14] Speaker B: There were guards near there, but everything has kind of gone into a bit of a chaos.
[00:12:22] Speaker D: Great. And I am shepherding people towards the exit. By people, I mean my people and keeping an eye on sickness.
[00:12:33] Speaker B: He is sort of looking around and Hugh watches. He's kind of got his hand over his cheek and he's watching all of this go down and maybe deciding to make a quick exit. As you know, things have turned a little bit pear shaped and luckily he's not a lark. So the skeletons are not targeting him.
[00:12:59] Speaker E: Does that mean they're going towards Tristan?
[00:13:01] Speaker C: He's not a lark.
[00:13:03] Speaker B: He's not a lark anymore.
[00:13:05] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:13:05] Speaker B: Yeah, he's icing.
He gave up that name.
[00:13:10] Speaker A: They don't deny him alarm name like theoretically anymore because they disowned him, didn't they?
[00:13:17] Speaker E: So that's for sure. Cygnus was just. Okay, cool.
[00:13:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:13:20] Speaker C: Yeah. Well, I mean like, I guess you could say to like this Society. You'd see him and be like, oh yeah, I know you. You're a tracer in law.
[00:13:27] Speaker E: You don't need to get into it. I just like, that's what I heard.
[00:13:29] Speaker B: That's all. Yeah, yeah. You. You watch as these, these sort of skeletal remains of all of these servants who were killed years ago start to grasp at some of the larks. And it kind of looks like they're trying to pull them down into the floor.
[00:13:47] Speaker C: Oh, this is so fucked up.
[00:13:50] Speaker G: This is perfect. I love this guy.
[00:13:53] Speaker F: Alistair is just staring like, this is not how I expected this party to be ending.
[00:14:02] Speaker C: I.
When I recognize what's going on, I just say, go get a mom.
Welcome up, dad.
And I'm dipping. I'm dipping so hard. Guys, if you see if there's. If there's. There's a particular skeleton that's like our wings, just ignore that. That's.
That's important for later.
[00:14:26] Speaker G: Yeah, don't worry about it.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: You know, could everyone give me acrobatics, athletics, something a skill to. They're going to use to exit the ballroom quickly.
Or if you just want to make a straight up attack, like say you're. You're violently pushing through. People do that as an option.
[00:14:47] Speaker G: I'm just gonna go with stealth because I. I honestly, I'm getting out of here. I don't cool confrontation with sibling layer.
[00:14:54] Speaker B: Probably.
[00:14:55] Speaker G: Hopefully not. Who cares? I'm get it. Get me out of here.
[00:14:58] Speaker A: Sir, ma', am, could I make an argument for performance and dance my way out of here?
[00:15:07] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:15:09] Speaker A: We're getting behind technicalities, baby.
[00:15:12] Speaker F: Can I get a penalty for shock?
Not the.
[00:15:23] Speaker A: We're not getting out of here on a technicality. That's a 15.
[00:15:27] Speaker G: I kind of want to use a hero point because I want to succeed. But failing is also fun. But I'm using a hero point.
[00:15:33] Speaker F: Like even with a minus one, that's still like a 30.
[00:15:39] Speaker C: How do I get.
[00:15:41] Speaker G: I'm going to shoot myself the foot.
That's it. I rolled a three and then I was like, I can use a hero point and got a NAT one. I'm like, you know what, mods? Just kill this guy.
That guy. I mean me.
[00:15:59] Speaker E: I got 16.
[00:16:05] Speaker D: Do better reroll.
[00:16:07] Speaker E: I want to save a hero point. I already used one.
[00:16:10] Speaker D: I got a 25 stealth because I ra.
[00:16:15] Speaker C: I don't, I don't like these people. But I don't want to be like you, waiter.
Fuck you, old lady. You know, Like, I don't want to.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: Do that pushing people. You're like shoving Them and not really caring if you're like throwing the ground or anything.
[00:16:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
29 though, for acrobatics.
[00:16:34] Speaker B: 20. Yeah.
And with Tristan, enough of you succeed that you're able to make it to the servants passages.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Thanks, guys.
[00:16:55] Speaker F: Did y' all know there was going to be whatever that was?
[00:17:05] Speaker G: Nope.
[00:17:06] Speaker E: No.
[00:17:07] Speaker A: No.
[00:17:08] Speaker B: Alistair, for. For just reasons. Can you roll me a conspiracy lore?
[00:17:15] Speaker F: Yes, and I want to blind GM roll too, and take that off.
[00:17:31] Speaker B: Yeah, no, you. You've. You're pretty sure you've.
You've read about whoever this is before.
Like whoever Whiskey Jack is before. There's a lot of stories of this traveler, this skeletal traveler who goes around, you know, buying and selling secrets and, you know, seems to have a power over death.
And, you know, quite possibly there are stories of him returning people to life for the right price as well.
Or for the right reason.
[00:18:15] Speaker F: So with all of that said, I say as I'm talking about this, we better have some good secrets for him when he comes to collect.
[00:18:32] Speaker E: Well, think about those secrets in a bit.
[00:18:36] Speaker C: You know a guy for like 10 years and. No, no, you don't. You don't really know him.
[00:18:40] Speaker E: What the fuck you're telling me?
Yeah, yeah, please go.
[00:18:52] Speaker B: You start to push through these servants passages and graveling. Give me a.
Do a society check.
[00:19:13] Speaker C: 25.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: Yeah, no, things have changed a little bit since you've worked here, but not enough so that you're completely lost.
And as you come out of the building itself, you kind of come to this part of the.
Where the house meets the rest of the district. And then there is a bridge, sort of leading over a small canal that people use for water. And there's a figure standing in the middle of this bridge.
A figure in a veil.
[00:20:00] Speaker C: Oh, you're new.
[00:20:06] Speaker B: And I'm gonna need everybody to roll initiative.
[00:20:16] Speaker G: Raggy.
Like, who is that npc? It's Pikachu.
[00:20:25] Speaker C: I mean, we certainly mimic you, silly. We certainly have the Pikachu face meme though.
[00:20:34] Speaker E: I got an 18.
[00:20:37] Speaker D: 27 for me.
[00:20:40] Speaker G: I got an 11 because apparently my rules are beans.
[00:20:43] Speaker B: 28 for me, 15 for Alistair.
[00:20:47] Speaker D: Cousins get good. Stop using your cousin. Die their curse.
[00:20:50] Speaker A: I didn't.
I use a different dice.
[00:20:53] Speaker E: I'm using it on principle.
[00:20:55] Speaker A: It said no. Actually, not today.
[00:21:01] Speaker B: Leith, you're relatively sure this was your mother at one point?
[00:21:05] Speaker E: Oh, no. Oh, that's worse. That's not who I thought it was. That's worse.
[00:21:10] Speaker G: Ruh roh. Raggy.
[00:21:11] Speaker E: Oh, no.
[00:21:15] Speaker D: Are there people chasing us? Or was there sort of enough chaos in running through this German Sundance that we don't have anyone behind us for now.
[00:21:21] Speaker B: There. There is a. There's enough time where there's. There's not somebody absolutely chasing you.
There you go.
[00:21:31] Speaker A: If we take too long, there will be.
[00:21:37] Speaker C: We want to rearrange ourselves real quick.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: Yeah, if you want to. You want to do that.
[00:21:42] Speaker C: I was going to be like, look who's in the front.
[00:21:44] Speaker B: How about.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: No.
[00:21:45] Speaker C: Yeah, I was. That's why. That's what I'm like.
[00:21:48] Speaker B: Let me grab everyone's initiative. Because I forgot. I forgot something on the map, so I had to quickly add that.
[00:21:55] Speaker A: Oh, you don't have to add things to the map. I think it looks great. It's perfect.
[00:21:59] Speaker B: Business.
[00:22:02] Speaker D: Is the canal, like, fast moving. Could we just jump into the canal?
[00:22:08] Speaker F: For some reason, it did take my 18. If you want to do my initiative down.
[00:22:15] Speaker A: I don't know how Yuri, Niall, and I all rolled better than the dead person.
We rolled terribly us.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:27] Speaker A: I mean, this is great for us, but also.
[00:22:30] Speaker G: Also. Damn. Okay, my bad.
My good. Dare I say.
[00:22:37] Speaker C: Side note. I just need you to know that the name is extremely funny, and I'll tell you why later.
We're kind of shaking hands too often. Aubrey, stop touching me.
[00:22:51] Speaker E: It's like for five years together or something.
[00:22:56] Speaker C: It's. Yeah, no, but, like, it's. It's okay. You don't understand. Like, we were talking a bit. Because I was talking. Yeah, actually.
[00:23:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:02] Speaker C: Later, later.
[00:23:02] Speaker B: Later. I'm sorry.
[00:23:03] Speaker C: This is just very funny for me.
[00:23:04] Speaker B: It's. Augie and I have been on the weirdly same wavelength for a lot of things about Noxlight, where I. I have an idea and I say it, and Nagi is like, I have the same idea. It's just awesome.
So it is the bride's turn. Or formerly known as Lay at the Drici.
[00:23:28] Speaker A: Mind on that initiative.
[00:23:31] Speaker E: Oh, did you say Lady Idrisi or Laith? The Drici?
[00:23:35] Speaker G: Her name is also.
[00:23:38] Speaker B: Yeah, she's the third. Was.
[00:23:40] Speaker E: The third.
[00:23:43] Speaker A: Is now the fifth question mark.
[00:23:45] Speaker E: I hate this. I hate it here. I hate it here.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: So it is her turn. And you kind of watch as she moves in sort of a unnatural way, as if something is puppeting her.
Laith and graveling. You saw this before.
You watch as she moves forward in this way, and then with her last two actions, unleashes a howl.
A agonized howl. They need everyone to make a will save can.
[00:24:29] Speaker D: I used my roll from last episode?
[00:24:33] Speaker B: Yes, you can.
[00:24:34] Speaker G: Sweet.
[00:24:35] Speaker D: I'm not scared of you, Mom. I'm Too hot to be scared.
[00:24:38] Speaker G: I'm too sexy to feel parental fear.
[00:24:41] Speaker F: 26.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: 30.
[00:24:49] Speaker E: Hey. L. You. 32. Within that 20.
[00:24:52] Speaker A: 28.
[00:24:53] Speaker G: Jesus Christ. I really.
[00:24:57] Speaker C: Also. 28.
[00:24:59] Speaker G: That's an 18 from me, which is not very good, I think. I don't. I don't think we have any more hero points for her to use the one.
[00:25:06] Speaker C: Do we have should have two? We have should have two by now. It's almost 10 o'.
[00:25:09] Speaker G: Clock.
[00:25:09] Speaker B: Oh, beautiful.
[00:25:10] Speaker G: I'm going to use a second hero point then.
Actually, I'm grabbing my physical dice. I don't trust like this.
Never mind. I lost my physical dice. I have to trust like this. I don't know where they are.
[00:25:21] Speaker B: D.C. is 28.
[00:25:23] Speaker A: Come on, shoot.
[00:25:25] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:25:29] Speaker G: Every hero point I've used in the past two sessions has given me a NAT one and quite frankly, I need to go put myself in a.
[00:25:36] Speaker B: No.
[00:25:37] Speaker E: Did you get in that one again?
[00:25:40] Speaker G: Aubrey? Can't have a pity hero point at this point.
Please.
[00:25:46] Speaker D: It's the finale, baby. I would have failed or if I did not use my thing, so. I'm so hot. I succeeded you mom.
[00:25:53] Speaker G: I'm gonna shoot myself in the foot.
[00:25:56] Speaker A: I did fail, but I don't think I'm gonna roll. Better fucking will because I rolled a 16 and the odds of me improving that are not that high.
[00:26:06] Speaker B: So Yuri, you're critically succeeded. You're not gonna take any damage. Everyone who succeeded take half of 35.
So 18 and.
[00:26:29] Speaker G: Aubrey, I think I'm just dead.
[00:26:30] Speaker B: Take 70.
[00:26:31] Speaker G: Yeah, I'm just dead. Aubrey.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Oh, that's the critical fail.
[00:26:36] Speaker B: That is the critical fail.
[00:26:38] Speaker G: Yeah. I'm at zero health, guys.
[00:26:42] Speaker B: You're not dead, but you're at dying too, because it was a critical hit.
[00:26:46] Speaker E: We have like four healers right now.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: This is gonna be fun.
[00:26:53] Speaker C: It's a way to start, bro.
[00:26:59] Speaker G: Kick myself in the shin.
[00:27:00] Speaker C: Every time we fight parents, somebody goes down in first round.
[00:27:04] Speaker F: By the way, that's where I was originally, right?
I accidentally had was trying to do negative and it wasn't on numslok and was moving me around with the number pad.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: I don't remember.
But luckily for you, she cannot use her howl again for three rounds and then it will bring us to grapevine. It is your turn.
[00:27:41] Speaker C: My gate was activated beforehand. I never turned it off because we were in a situation where I kind of needed it.
I still need it. I just want to let you know, is it a free action to step? I cannot remember.
[00:28:01] Speaker B: No, it's still an action.
[00:28:02] Speaker C: It's still an Action to step.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:05] Speaker E: Yeah.
Not until later.
[00:28:10] Speaker C: Okay. No new stuff for me.
I have guarded movement, so I'm gonna use my first action to kind of pull up on this rear here so I can be behind her.
[00:28:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:28] Speaker C: That I'm pretty sure that will provoke. Because it's a thing. It will provoke an attack opportunity if she has it.
But I do have guarded movement, so I do have like circumstance plus four to my ac when that happens.
[00:28:45] Speaker B: Yeah, she'll strike at. At you with her claws or a 25 doesn't hit.
[00:28:56] Speaker C: I am 29 now.
[00:28:58] Speaker B: Yeah. You watch as from underneath this veil in this dress is just whatever this body is desiccated. And you can kind of see as the fingers themselves have formed into these long claw like hands and they come swiping out at you, but you're able to dodge back really quick and they miss.
And then there's the rest of your turn.
[00:29:26] Speaker C: They miss.
And I will auf flurry of blows.
And if I can do stunning, if I also hit, that would be great.
So. Yeah, well, let's. Let's. Let's do this, do that.
[00:29:42] Speaker A: This, this.
[00:29:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I also can.
Pretty sure at level five I got it. But like my. My punches should be able to be to. To break through like resistance when it comes to magic or something like that.
I just punch super good now.
26.
[00:30:05] Speaker B: 26. 26 will hit.
[00:30:10] Speaker C: 26 will hit. And then nat20.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: You all right?
[00:30:19] Speaker C: I'm sorry, Shojo jice everybody. We're not sponsored.
But the Bashojo healer's dice, they're beautiful. They're bigger than usual, so it's nice and chunky. I'm just. We're not sponsored.
[00:30:38] Speaker G: But we could be.
[00:30:39] Speaker C: We could be.
We could be.
[00:30:42] Speaker B: The card you picked, the card you got is busted shin until heal the start. The target is clumsy one and takes a 10 foot fast penalty to land speed.
[00:30:55] Speaker C: All right, all right.
You'll get a total of.
Oh, I have a Bane rune as well.
I feel like it might apply, but I'll double check with you.
It's on aberrations.
[00:31:16] Speaker B: She counts as an aberration.
[00:31:20] Speaker C: Oh, I think Leith also has the Bane rune.
Okay, cool. I don't remember what this rune does though.
[00:31:32] Speaker A: Do I have it?
[00:31:32] Speaker C: Can I.
[00:31:35] Speaker B: Allowing you to deal more damage to these type of Creatures Deals 1d6 Extra Additional damage of the weapons type to the chosen type of creature.
[00:31:47] Speaker C: Okay, then I guess I roll 2d6 again really quickly.
Stand by for math.
And it's. It's just the additional weapons type, right?
[00:32:09] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:32:11] Speaker C: Okay, I'm just gonna.
I'm just gonna add all of it for you really quickly.
42.
[00:32:21] Speaker B: 42. Okay.
[00:32:23] Speaker C: Yeah.
42. Whale in honor.
I run by, dodge a claw, go in low to up her shins or knees or whatever she has now. And then just, just pop, pop, cracking it like two more times.
One in the stomach, two to the head. Like that kind of vibe. Just. I'm fully. Molly. Whopping your mom.
Lathe. I was gonna say Alyssa. Like just straight up.
And I think I have one more action.
I don't want to go crit fishing just yet.
I move. That's one. And then flurry of blows.
[00:33:04] Speaker E: Oh, that's right. It's right.
[00:33:05] Speaker C: Yeah. And then I don't want to go crypt fishing just yet.
I. I want to see. I wanna. I wanna see what happens for a little bit. So I'm gonna have my.
My wayfinder. Is that what that item's called? Yeah, wayfinder. And I'm gonna. It lets me use shield. I'm just gonna pop a shield because shield's.
[00:33:31] Speaker B: Yes.
Shield is one action.
[00:33:34] Speaker C: Yeah, Yeah. I was like, I'm pretty sure it is.
[00:33:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:33:36] Speaker C: And that's what, that's what I'm doing. Just gonna. That's my whole turn. Getting ready for the next round.
[00:33:46] Speaker B: All right. And that'll bring us to Yellowjacket.
You watch as he sort of surveys the area around. There is sort of some, you know, some smaller buildings, like a. Like a shed or like a part of a greenhouse on one side. So he's going to spend his first action to climb it really quick with his athletics. You watch as he easily grabs a couple of handholds and pulls himself up and pulls out his gun with his second action. And then with the third action, sort of takes a.
A steady shot at the.
At the bride.
Jesus.
For a nat 20 for a.35.
[00:34:37] Speaker E: Let's go.
[00:34:38] Speaker C: Boy.
In this house, this is a gun. This is a thin ass.
[00:34:43] Speaker E: Even with a pistol, that's nasty if.
[00:34:46] Speaker C: You'Re a bug or if you are a bug. Nat20 is all around.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: So the card is called Painful Poke. The Target is stunned 1 and hits for 21 damage, which is respectable for just a dueling pistol.
[00:35:08] Speaker E: It has dueling pistols, have fatal D10s. Aubrey.
[00:35:12] Speaker B: Yeah, okay, just making sure. Yeah, I rolled it on boundary and it has all the stuff in there for it.
But yeah, that is his entire turn. And that'll bring us to Leith.
[00:35:26] Speaker D: So Leith remembers the last time we faced this thing wearing her mother's face.
And so shouts to the Group it's not worth fighting. Just run and attempt to tackle her over the edge of the bridge into the canal.
[00:35:45] Speaker B: I give me an athletics check.
[00:35:51] Speaker D: I don't know if it's helpful that she's stunned or clumsy for this. I'm hoping it does because my athletics, despite being expert is not great. But that is a 30.
[00:36:06] Speaker B: And you're attempting to shove.
[00:36:14] Speaker D: Yeah, probably.
If I have to go with her. Like if I have to go with her, I'm willing to do that.
[00:36:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
Or I guess it would be forced movement.
[00:36:27] Speaker E: There. Shove. There is trip.
[00:36:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:36:32] Speaker D: The Trevor does gets her into the water. Theoretically.
[00:36:37] Speaker B: Yeah. We'll go with shove.
So with this it will only. Is only a success. It will only push her back 5ft.
[00:36:51] Speaker C: Does stand still Proc.
[00:36:55] Speaker E: I don't think it does because that's forced movement.
[00:36:57] Speaker B: It's a force movement. So it's.
[00:36:59] Speaker C: That's what I thought. I thought I'd ask anyways just in case it'd be funny if I could kick her in the head and push her too.
[00:37:04] Speaker E: I have attack of opportunity now.
Let me see if that works. I think it's probably the same thing.
[00:37:10] Speaker B: But it's the same thing, is it? It doesn't like unless it specifically.
[00:37:14] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, because they make a move action.
[00:37:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. They.
They don't make the move action. They are forced to move.
[00:37:20] Speaker E: Yeah, I think. I think you get to get that.
[00:37:22] Speaker B: At higher levels there. There's ones where it's specifically like a creature moves out of your like range of attack.
Yeah, that's fine.
Yeah.
Athletics check. Yeah. So you can push your mom 5ft and then stride after her essentially is. You're gonna have to push her one more time and succeed to get off the bridge.
[00:37:47] Speaker D: Okay, I will attempt it again at.
Do I get the finesse for this?
[00:37:54] Speaker B: It has the attack trait so it. It doesn't have finesse. So it will be at minus five.
[00:37:58] Speaker D: So it's at five. Okay, here we go. Plus 12. For my athletics I'm going to use a hero point because that's a one.
So 20.
So it's 20 plus 30. 32. Minus five is 27.
But it's a nat 20.
[00:38:27] Speaker B: Nat 20. So that would be.
It's literally. It squeaks out a success but because it's a nat20 still makes it a critical success.
So yeah, you can push her off the bridge into the canal.
Was there a particular side you wanted.
[00:38:45] Speaker D: To the right side. Whichever side is downstream probably.
[00:38:51] Speaker B: It would be. Yeah, it would be like that side would be this. The current is going that way.
[00:38:56] Speaker D: Okay.
Yeah. The right side. So that she's like. She'll have to go further with the current to get up the steps.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:08] Speaker A: Sorry.
[00:39:09] Speaker D: Other side from that.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: Oh, other side. Okay.
[00:39:12] Speaker D: Yeah.
And that's my turn.
[00:39:18] Speaker B: Aye.
Alistair, is that your turn?
All right.
[00:39:29] Speaker F: I will designate this random thing as a person of interest.
[00:39:39] Speaker B: You're interested in late spum, I understand.
[00:39:44] Speaker D: I am throwing over my fiance for my mom.
[00:39:47] Speaker C: Once again, passing Alistair around like a blunt.
[00:39:54] Speaker F: I would.
So that's my first action. And then because they're a person of interest free action to devise a stratagem.
I think I got target.
That is a two.
[00:40:15] Speaker B: That is a two.
[00:40:18] Speaker F: I'm not going to be able to do anything useful with a two.
Let me.
I actually need to. I have a very specific thing that I need to double check.
I did that. There we go. Okay.
Attack stratagem. If you strike.
Good.
All right.
And so she's downstream is to the east. Right?
Like she's going downstream away from the stairs that we see.
[00:41:11] Speaker B: No, she will be heading down that way. Essentially is where she is right now. The current will carry her that way.
Towards the stairs.
[00:41:20] Speaker F: Towards the stairs.
Okay.
[00:41:29] Speaker B: So.
[00:41:32] Speaker F: Oh, shame that electricity doesn't do anything special with water.
But actually.
And how far away is she?
What's the vertical height?
[00:41:48] Speaker B: It's probably about 20ft down.
[00:41:53] Speaker F: That's too far.
Like, I could get closer.
I would have to take it.
[00:42:02] Speaker E: You should just run. You should just run.
[00:42:04] Speaker F: I should just.
[00:42:08] Speaker E: Run.
Says. Says a voice in your head.
[00:42:18] Speaker F: Okay.
But while I have a moment to think, I will figure out what in the world she is.
Would that be.
Would that be undead lore?
Like, would that be the closest I have? I have undead lore. Eldoret.
And then the regular knowledge skills.
[00:42:47] Speaker B: It would be an occultism probably would be your best bet because technically not undead.
[00:42:56] Speaker F: Yeah, fair enough.
[00:42:59] Speaker B: So.
[00:43:02] Speaker F: That will be occultism.
And you know what? I'm gonna use skilled stratagem because I can do that and you're not part of lead. So that is a 26.
[00:43:27] Speaker B: A 26.
Unfortunately, that isn't high enough.
Your lunch. Sure. Because it.
You've never seen anything like this before.
[00:43:42] Speaker F: I mean, that is fair.
And we need to go north, right? Or which way are we going?
[00:43:51] Speaker B: Crossing the bridge.
[00:43:56] Speaker F: All right.
[00:43:57] Speaker B: Crossing the bridge will take you out of the Lark estate and into Silver Court.
[00:44:04] Speaker F: So while I'm failing at this, I'm going to use my next two actions to move.
If anyone else wants to. If you want.
Go on. I'm gonna be heading across the bridge.
Okay.
Which will take me there.
Okay.
I won't go all the way, though. I'll go about here. That's a good distance.
Scurry, scurry, scurry.
And that will be my turn.
[00:44:45] Speaker B: And that'll bring us to Yuri.
[00:44:49] Speaker E: Okay. I am going to move to Annihilus and I'm gonna perform a battle medicine.
I am an expert in medicine, so I believe I could do the DC20 check.
[00:45:05] Speaker G: What if you did battle medicine and we're both boys?
[00:45:09] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah. What if you're about to find out?
[00:45:13] Speaker D: Then it would fail.
[00:45:15] Speaker E: No, that's actually a 26.
[00:45:18] Speaker A: Then you get hit points back.
[00:45:20] Speaker E: I think that's a quick success.
No, it's not.
[00:45:24] Speaker B: 30.
[00:45:25] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:45:26] Speaker B: But yeah, it's. It's what the piano.
[00:45:32] Speaker E: It's. It's a decent amount.
Sorry, the action tabs doesn't give me the total amount. So I need to go to the actual thing.
[00:45:41] Speaker B: It is two D8 plus 10.
[00:45:44] Speaker E: D8 plus 10 10. For your sake. Tick. I will roll this.
[00:45:49] Speaker G: Please, please.
[00:45:52] Speaker E: That you get 23hp back.
[00:45:55] Speaker G: Beautiful.
[00:45:56] Speaker E: And I would like to use my last action to reposition, which I. We could do to an ally. So if Nio just wants to critically fail. I can move them 10ft.
[00:46:12] Speaker G: Yeah, I'll critically fail. I don't mind being picked up by Yuri as a train.
[00:46:17] Speaker E: Can I. Can I get them on their feet with this?
[00:46:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I'd say you can. Yeah.
[00:46:21] Speaker E: Okay. You're gonna see some. You wake up to a weird, like, searing sensation. As you see, like, Yuri has superheated the axe to cover your, like, wound that's opened up from heavy screaming.
And you're like. I'm like, okay, time to get running. Go across the bridge and you're going to get lifted up and pushed forward behind me.
[00:46:45] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:46:47] Speaker E: Yeah. So you would be on the battle map, like, right next to le.
[00:46:52] Speaker G: There you go.
Jeez.
[00:46:54] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:46:56] Speaker E: That is all of my actions.
[00:47:00] Speaker B: All right. And that'll bring us to Lou.
[00:47:05] Speaker A: Okay.
Lou is going to note that we are all making a run for it. See the bride in the water.
[00:47:18] Speaker E: And.
[00:47:19] Speaker A: Is going to attempt to buy us a little more time before she becomes a problem again.
And is going to reach into one of the pockets of her dress and withdraw out a string of finger bones that are all kind of like a loop. And gonna cat's cradle the finger bones and cast Ossia's cage attempt. I'm also at the same time going to flick that tarot card into the middle. So you have to do disadvantage on Your reflex save.
[00:48:01] Speaker B: Oh, hey, that is a 21.
You failed.
[00:48:07] Speaker C: You failed my one.
[00:48:08] Speaker A: Okay, so the card dissolves into smoke and then reappears in her terror pouch. It's not gone forever. Anyway.
And then out of the canal, bones start coming up in a very reminiscent way to what was happening in the ballroom. But these aren't skeletons. These are just bones.
And they form a cage around her.
Creature inside the cage is immobilized until it escapes. Uses an effect that can pass through solid objects or destroys the cage.
And I have cage stats when you need them.
It does provide light, lesser coverage to it, so. But it's a. It's a. It is a custom cage, Aki. So it is fit to size.
[00:49:05] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what.
[00:49:06] Speaker A: Oh, no, I see what you're saying. Sorry, I thought you're saying if it's too narrow, the skeleton can get through it. I'm like, no, no, no, it's fine. Okay. Anyway.
Yeah, yeah, so that happens.
[00:49:16] Speaker E: Run, run.
[00:49:17] Speaker A: And then I'm running. And then I'm gonna run.
I forgot how far I can run, but that's the distance.
[00:49:23] Speaker D: I'm gonna go 25ft.
[00:49:27] Speaker B: 25Ft.
All right. Yeah. Probably get around to where Alistair is and that'll bring us to Nile.
Okay.
[00:49:43] Speaker G: I'm unmuted. Yeah. I don't think there's anything I could do except get the out of here.
And that is the plan. So I think I'd like to just get the out of here. Like I'm gonna be honest. Get me out of here. Heart emoji.
[00:49:56] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
[00:49:58] Speaker G: Goodbye. I shouldn't take it all over. I know. What I mean.
I don't know if I have like a third.
Honestly, I don't really want to use my third action for anything except running. I. I have spells, but it's like.
[00:50:09] Speaker E: She'S going downstream, you know, just either shield or run.
[00:50:14] Speaker G: Yeah, I guess for. I'll use two actions to run. Cuz that was like 50ft, question mark. That's 45ft. Yeah, I have 25 movement speed. I don't want to like, ditch everyone. I'll use the third action for shield, just in case someone like throws a projectile at me, like, die again. All right, hold on a second. How many.
[00:50:33] Speaker A: How many slots is.
[00:50:35] Speaker G: Never mind. I'm good.
[00:50:37] Speaker B: Hey, it'll bring us back to the bride's turn.
What does she have to roll to break out of the cage?
[00:50:47] Speaker A: Let's see here. So she can either hold on. I had to close it so I could see what I was doing.
She can make an escape.
I don't know. It's just capitalized, so I assume that means something in Pathfinder World. Otherwise she can try to destroy it. I assume by attacking it. It has an AC of 10, a hardness of 5, 10 hit points, but it is immune to critical hits and precision damage.
So hopefully she doesn't hit too hard.
I mean, I stunned one, so she's also stunned one. Yeah, I would. I would copy this to show you, but it's being silly. So let me do it through the snip tool.
[00:51:28] Speaker B: Let's use cage. Okay.
[00:51:33] Speaker A: I don't know. I don't know if it's heightened. I don't freaking know. I just found out I had a second spell slot, so I don't know.
[00:51:39] Speaker B: If it's not heightened yet. So she's going to spend her first action to make a claw attack against the cage that is going to hit.
[00:51:50] Speaker A: I don't know how hardness works either.
[00:51:53] Speaker B: Hardness essentially is after it takes that much damage, it's considered broken.
So it is.
But she does 15 damage with the one attack.
[00:52:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:52:06] Speaker B: Well, there's a shot it's eight in action.
[00:52:11] Speaker E: Hardness.
I think hardness is how much damage Reduces.
[00:52:18] Speaker B: Reduces. Okay, then it would reduce it from 15 down to 10, which is.
[00:52:24] Speaker E: Yeah, still 10.
[00:52:25] Speaker A: But it has.
Oh, never mind. That's exactly the set points.
[00:52:28] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:52:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:52:29] Speaker A: That's not precision damage, right?
[00:52:31] Speaker B: No, it's just her claws.
[00:52:33] Speaker D: Just checking.
[00:52:37] Speaker B: Okay. And then she is going to use her last action to use an ability called Awful Approach.
You watch as the form of this monster shifts her body, melding to what it needs to be, as she is going to stride twice.
[00:53:16] Speaker A: Can she.
Oh. Does she have more than three actions? Is that what's happening here?
[00:53:20] Speaker B: No, she has at least two. But the.
The agonizing, the Awful approach allows her to move twice.
So it's gonna clear a lot of ground and you all technically can see her. So I need a D DC 25 fortitude. Save.
[00:53:39] Speaker G: What if I say I'm looking away?
[00:53:41] Speaker B: Yeah, you're still there. You can still see it.
[00:53:46] Speaker G: My eyes are closed. I'm not looking.
[00:53:49] Speaker A: What did you say the DC was?
[00:53:52] Speaker B: 25 fortitude.
[00:53:58] Speaker G: Do I have anything for 42?
[00:53:59] Speaker E: Use my last zero point. Because that would be a crit fail If I don't.
[00:54:04] Speaker A: 27.
[00:54:10] Speaker E: It's just.
[00:54:10] Speaker G: Is this a disease or poison by chance?
[00:54:12] Speaker E: No.
[00:54:13] Speaker B: No.
[00:54:16] Speaker G: Oh, okay.
[00:54:17] Speaker E: It's a 20 for a regular failure.
[00:54:19] Speaker F: For me.
[00:54:23] Speaker D: I got a 13 and I'm really tempted to keep it because I think it's thematic.
[00:54:32] Speaker F: I got a 12. It rerolled it for a 13.
[00:54:35] Speaker C: You buddies.
[00:54:40] Speaker G: I got 26.
[00:54:42] Speaker D: I get rights.
[00:54:44] Speaker G: Oh, my God.
[00:54:45] Speaker C: Once again, the I'm not sponsored, but these dice are on be shojo 31.
[00:54:51] Speaker B: 31.
[00:54:55] Speaker G: Get a set of those dice that give me good luck.
[00:54:58] Speaker B: The very pretty failed becomes sickened 1. Anyone who critically failed becomes sickened 2.
[00:55:05] Speaker C: What was it?
[00:55:06] Speaker B: DC 25.
[00:55:08] Speaker E: 25.
[00:55:16] Speaker B: As just sort of watching this form shift in twist as she moves moves through the water surprisingly quickly, you know, kind of just causes your stomach to turn and biles arise.
Day.
[00:56:06] Speaker A: We must face it again.
Saint.
[00:57:09] Speaker E: Sa.
