[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam. Waking up asleep I've been dreaming Dr. Long I cannot find meaning. Hold my hand, Let me stay by your side through this never ending night. I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons around me in this red light because me he is reaching out, consuming. [00:01:32] Speaker B: Hello everybody. Welcome back to Goblins and Gays. I'm your GM and I'll players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing and then we'll get rolling into things. [00:01:42] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante graveling who is a Nagaji's self monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns. [00:01:54] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris, she her and I play Alouette Valer. Also she her a bardic thaumaturge beastkin doing her best while juggling a family curse, falling in love and of course the end of the world. [00:02:07] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they he pronouns. Name playing € formally Moran still a problem, just angrier now. They are a blood hunter nephilim problem just. Just trying to fix things, even though it's all bad. They also use they he pronouns. [00:02:33] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire, the revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he, him pronouns. [00:02:55] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Tick. I use he, she, they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall, who uses he, they pronouns. He cooks, he cleans, he eats people and has an alien parasite living in his spine, slowly consuming him. What more could you ask for? [00:03:08] Speaker A: Hi, I'm Alyssa. [00:03:09] Speaker C: My pronouns are they, them, and I play Laith Idrisi, the fourth Dampier, dandy, rogue, failed matricide with a minus one constitution modifier. Leith uses she any pronouns. [00:03:22] Speaker B: So what happened last time? [00:03:26] Speaker F: A lot of conversations and discussions. Kind of filling out some stuff that we need to discuss. Yuri had a very public discussion that was supposed to be private, but was actually very publicly in front of a lot of people that were definitely listening in because Yuri didn't have very good spatial awareness, which is very cool. I know. It was Lu and Laith that followed a lead involving some missing individuals that were definitely sort of sick. That led to the screens again. Those fucking screens. I swear to God, I gotta piss on their goddamn clipboards at this rate. They're like, they're the center of everything at this point. We're gonna have to like Aubrey's like pointing them with a giant red sign, like, go to these guys next. And then we went to talk to Graveling's brother, who's currently infested. And let me guess, the screens again. I hate them. I think they're next on our hit list. And he's doing better, which is good. So overall, a bunch of very loose ends that we're just kind of tying up as we prepare for ourselves, for probably dealing with this. Cravens. I fucking hope. Because I'm tired of those guys. I'm tired of those damn bitches in my economy, you know? Yeah, yeah. [00:04:31] Speaker B: So grwing, I ask you, you said something about a date. Walk us through the steps that you're taking to prepare for this date. [00:04:41] Speaker C: Firstly, I booked the place. What place? The clock tower in Starlight Bastion. That's right. The one that has the secret sewer tunnels. Because everybody loves going through a sewer before going to your date location. But it's okay because this place has a place where you can take a bath and a wand that gives you just enough bath water. I usually know. I really love this tower. It's so funny. It's so funny. It's 100% like, oh, my God, somebody survived the zombie apocalypse in this tower. Okay. It's. It's genuinely. It's so funny. This clock tower, that's where we're going. Because it's got a really nice view and that's. I know it's going to get clipped. I know it's going to get. What part of me never gets clipped? Let's be. Let's be so. [00:05:38] Speaker A: For real. [00:05:40] Speaker C: Yeah. Because the clock tower has a really great view. And I am realizing that I'm also going to force her up a flight of godly amounts of stairs, [00:05:53] Speaker B: make her walk in front and have a great view. [00:05:57] Speaker C: Oh, my God. This is me, the best date ever. Cardio. I also think I have somehow prepared a meal up there. What kind of meal is it? Honestly, not a very good one. Could I have gotten Niall to do this? Maybe? Bestie was exhausted and sleeping for basically two days, so I don't know, actually. Either way, there is a mediocre meal up there. I do have candles and stuff. Like that set. It's the equivalent of like, it's semi romantic because it's also like, here is a sheet that doesn't look like it. Maybe it's the blanket, but now it's the tablecloth. Like, you know, it's. I just use what was here and I tried to make it really nice and I brought candles I brought. I stole wine from the Wolfsoncraft manor because they. What are they gonna do? I also brought that here. And I also have now the cake. And that is. That is how the date room is set up. It's gonna be nice when we get there, but getting there, that's the real journey. [00:07:22] Speaker B: How much of this is a surprise for Lorelei? Are you telling her what it is? Are you just inviting her to go there and not saying what it is? [00:07:32] Speaker C: I'm not saying anything. I think in my mind, I think that she knows, but whether or not she actually knows, I don't know that part. I don't know. I'm not saying it. I'm not mentioning that it's a date or anything like that. I just feel like, can. Can you come here? Like, can you come to the clock tower with me this day? This time? And then we climb all those slights of stairs. [00:07:57] Speaker B: Yeah. Luckily you're both in incredibly good shape. You feel a little tired as you get up there, but, you know, not as much as, say, somebody who doesn't work out as much. [00:08:10] Speaker C: I bend air, if any. If we feel sweaty, I just bend like. I just blast us like we're fine. Oh my God, we're actually. We're actually so fine. We're good. And yeah, when you get up here, it's. It's kind of nice, you know? Unless somebody else didn't listen and showed up too. No, I can't stop that. [00:08:29] Speaker B: Everyone's scared of you. So. So as you walk up into the clock tower with everything set up and all the candles and everything laying out, there's a moment where Lorelai sort of stops and looks around and then looks back at you, gives you sort of a small smile and said, that's all for me? [00:09:03] Speaker C: Yeah, well, I tried. [00:09:07] Speaker B: It's perfect. [00:09:12] Speaker C: I'm glad you think so, cuz if you wasn't, then, well, it would have been a long walk down. [00:09:22] Speaker B: Yeah. But I do. I do like it. It's nice having some normaly after this last month. [00:09:34] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah, it's. Well, I. I don't know when we're going to get a chance to do this again, so I thought, why not? I got dinner. It might be cold. I have got dessert though, and that one's always better if it's cold. So. So win, win. And oh, I got wine. [00:10:06] Speaker B: And well, we'll gesture for you to. To pour the wine and say, well, this has to be better food and better wine than what we used to drink. [00:10:25] Speaker C: Okay. I personally like the cheap shit, but it's just got some. Got some gravel in it, you know. [00:10:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I liked it at the time and then I had my palette ruined by the finer stuff. [00:10:48] Speaker C: Well, this is from the Wollstonecraft manor, so it has to be good. And if it isn't, then we know Helena sucks. [00:10:58] Speaker B: I'm sure she'll be so wounded. [00:11:03] Speaker C: Well, usually nobility is wounded by like that. [00:11:08] Speaker B: Usually, yes. Sometimes by a knife in the gut. [00:11:13] Speaker C: Everybody's wounded by that. [00:11:17] Speaker D: True. [00:11:17] Speaker B: It's the great equalizer. [00:11:22] Speaker C: So like, as we're like, like sitting and talking, I think we finish dinner and I have surprised her with the cake. [00:11:32] Speaker B: She's very excited for that cake. [00:11:34] Speaker C: It's all for her. I like, I kind of like the cake. It's a little too sweet for me. Like it's, it's. It's all for her. But I will invite her to like sit by the. The clock tower has like that big ass window that, you know, you can lowy jump out of. I'm gonna invite her to sit by there. [00:12:00] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:12:01] Speaker C: So we can have more chats. [00:12:02] Speaker B: You can look out over the city. And looking at the city, you could definitely tell that how Malakal was laid out once upon a time, that the clock tower was the. The center. [00:12:19] Speaker C: Does it look like anything from up here? Because it should be. The. This part of the city should be decently lit now. Right. Because they were letting people back in. [00:12:28] Speaker B: Yeah. You're starting to see as Starlight Bastion is, more and more lights are popping up. It's still not as many as there used to be or were before, but you know, a small number of people have returned and a lot of people are in the process of returning. [00:12:53] Speaker C: But does. But does the city layout look like anything? Anything suspicious or unique? I'm accidentally turning this date into something else. Maybe. [00:13:10] Speaker B: Give me a perception check. [00:13:15] Speaker C: I'm going to use a hero point on that. I'm not. I'm not going to accept that rule. I will accept this one though. 32. [00:13:26] Speaker B: 32. You're thinking about it for a second. And the original layout of the city was very much like a sundial with the clock tower at the center. [00:13:43] Speaker C: Does that look like a sundial to you? [00:13:47] Speaker B: Lorelai looks out and goes. I know that you mention it, it kind of does. [00:13:56] Speaker C: Sundials tell the time, right? [00:14:00] Speaker B: Yes. Their shadow tells the time. Yeah. [00:14:06] Speaker C: I look up. Don't you need the sun for that? [00:14:09] Speaker B: Usually, yes. [00:14:11] Speaker A: Does it. [00:14:12] Speaker C: You think it does anything? [00:14:16] Speaker B: It's a possibility. [00:14:21] Speaker C: I'm gonna point it out to one of the nerds later. [00:14:24] Speaker B: Yeah. They might. Alistair might have some sort of theory about this. [00:14:30] Speaker C: Alistair's gonna love this. Oh. I didn't mean to bring up work. [00:14:37] Speaker B: It's okay. I. I understand. I can't turn it off sometimes too. [00:14:45] Speaker C: Maybe potentially another turn off was what? So you're going like public facing now, right? [00:14:59] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm getting the senator for Coffin Walk. Owes me a favor on getting him to force a vote in Salvation row now that Alice is dead and been confirmed to be dead. [00:15:18] Speaker C: So you wanna. You wanna be a senator now or you're gonna be the senator now? [00:15:25] Speaker B: Gonna push for it? At least if there's somebody standing up for the row, maybe they won't feel like they need to. Or they don't feel like they can just bulldoze it and get away with it. If I can pull things together and unite us. At least just the district. [00:15:56] Speaker C: So what do you want to do then? [00:16:03] Speaker A: I. [00:16:09] Speaker C: I would like to keep my identity a secret. [00:16:15] Speaker B: Of course I wouldn't. Most people are just. Some people will know me as the leader of the Bloody Blades. But I'm not going to advertise myself as the leader of the Bloody Blades. [00:16:30] Speaker A: Okay. [00:16:34] Speaker C: Well, for better or worse, I hang around you a lot. [00:16:41] Speaker B: Yes. [00:16:42] Speaker C: Are you okay with that? [00:16:44] Speaker B: I'm pretty sure people will just think that you're my wife or something. [00:16:52] Speaker E: Whoa. [00:16:53] Speaker C: That's okay there. We ain't even. We haven't even. [00:17:00] Speaker B: People usually jump to wife over girlfriend or partner. [00:17:06] Speaker C: I mean. I mean. Okay, well, okay. I like, I'm not against that. Even though it sounds like I am. I'm not. I'm. I just. I didn't think that far ahead. I don't usually think that far ahead. I. What about. Okay, what about the kids? My kids? Our kids? I don't know. Like that's what it would be done as would be seen as. And engraving space is getting like redder and like red. [00:17:57] Speaker B: Adoption papers. I can do that. [00:18:00] Speaker C: I. I don't know. I don't. I mean like w. Okay, well, le. Legally, I'm like undocumented. I. I don't think I have anything, doc. [00:18:09] Speaker B: I know. [00:18:10] Speaker A: I know. [00:18:10] Speaker B: Document foragers. They can get you all the legal papers. [00:18:14] Speaker C: I. I. Okay, well, I mean, I don't know if I want papers now. You don't even know my name. [00:18:22] Speaker B: I fully expected you would tell me when you were comfortable, but I understand the need for an alias. And hey, Grave Wing is a really hot name. [00:18:30] Speaker C: Not. Thank you, but not to not not. It's not like a name that brings good things for rich People, okay? That's who you're going to be around with. I don't want to put a target on your back. [00:18:55] Speaker B: I can take care of myself and [00:19:00] Speaker C: I know you can take care of yourself, but it's. Things are ramping up. You know, it's. I'm here, you know, went home and then got jumped by my brother. Like it's the. You see what I mean? Like it's. It's. I just. I kind of already up part of your life. I don't want to up the rest of it. [00:19:26] Speaker B: You wouldn't it up. [00:19:30] Speaker C: Are you sure about that? Because this. This past week kind of proves otherwise. [00:19:38] Speaker B: Clover and I had been having problems for a while. I didn't think she would ever go that far. Usually when people are having problems, the. The. The next step is maybe we should go to counseling or talk to somebody or spend some time apart. Not betray the entire organization you built together. [00:20:11] Speaker A: Yeah, [00:20:13] Speaker B: look, and I'm not going to become a senator tomorrow. The process is long and bureaucratic. I'd be lucky if an election even happens before the supposed end of the world. But things are. Will happen and things will move and it will hopefully give them. Make them take a second thought about doing anything in the row. [00:20:38] Speaker C: Graveling nods and becomes less red. I think I'm a. I'm a. I'm a very cute orange right now. Okay, true, true, true. Look, I. I just don't want to complicate things and if they get really complicated, I don't mind, you know, parting amicably. Amicably. Words are hard. [00:21:22] Speaker E: I. [00:21:25] Speaker B: I'd like to try. [00:21:29] Speaker C: I like to try to [00:21:35] Speaker B: reach out and sort of take your hand and kiss the back of your knuckles and say it's going to take some time to figure out. And I'm okay with that. We're both going to need to take time and figure out what we need. And there is a whole world ending thing going on. So I at least want to tell you how I feel before that. [00:22:08] Speaker C: Okay. [00:22:11] Speaker B: And I think you're one of the most amazing women I've ever met. [00:22:17] Speaker C: Graveling is fighting the urge to say raise your standards. [00:22:20] Speaker A: I. [00:22:25] Speaker C: Well, I, I think you're pretty great too. Like inspiring levels of great. As long as you don't mind all of the baggage. And I come with like, all of it. [00:22:49] Speaker B: Come with my fair share of baggage too. So, you know, we'll unpack it together. [00:23:02] Speaker C: This next part needs just. Just stay between us. [00:23:10] Speaker B: Of. [00:23:14] Speaker C: My name is Sachika. [00:23:23] Speaker B: It's a beautiful name. [00:23:26] Speaker C: It means to be Gentle parents were not good at naming, but. Well, [00:23:40] Speaker B: I think. I think you would know the right situation to be gentle in. [00:23:47] Speaker C: And we go do that. It's a phase of black. We go do that. [00:23:54] Speaker B: Any last things people want to do to end the week before we gather for our. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Yeah, I just want to give Grave wing all of the body warmer talismans that I made. So now everyone in her family who needed one should be set. You're gonna have. [00:24:15] Speaker C: Are they gonna burn a hole in my pocket? Yes, we will, actually. Are they gonna burn a hole in my pocket if I put them all together? [00:24:24] Speaker A: No, you'd have to activate them all at once. [00:24:27] Speaker C: Okay, I get it. [00:24:28] Speaker A: I see. I see. [00:24:29] Speaker C: I see. Next family drop, we drop the talisman warmer thing and profit. [00:24:39] Speaker B: All right, it is the start of another week, and you all come together to figure out what you're going to be doing this week for rebellion actions and what you might want to work on after this. There's certainly a lot. There's still several members of the Blade out there and a lot of other things going on. [00:25:07] Speaker A: Oh, the things I was saying is we had the Clockwork hall issue. We have to rescue Ertram, and. And then we have the whole fam. Valere family problem, which is like a different problem. [00:25:24] Speaker C: Okay. How much. How much have we told each other about this? Because I know not everybody knows about the symphony or knows as much detail as Lou does about the symphony. Because you didn't even tell us about your family pendant issue. Because we. We jumped to Johnny Time right after that. [00:25:43] Speaker A: We jumped straight to that. [00:25:44] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:25:44] Speaker B: This is now, like, a great time to, like, fully fill in everybody on what's going on. And are we gonna do that in character? [00:25:50] Speaker C: Or are we. [00:25:50] Speaker F: Are we. [00:25:51] Speaker C: Or are we, like. And it's just end now and we do it. Yeah. [00:25:56] Speaker B: If there's specific things you don't want to tell them, say it. If there are things you hold back. [00:26:01] Speaker A: Yes. [00:26:01] Speaker B: But other than that, we can say safely say you spend the first couple hours just figuring out, discussing everything you've learned in the last week. [00:26:09] Speaker A: I think the only thing Lou leaves out right now is she just leaves out the unbroken connection with the family. I think she's not quite ready to share that yet. But she does be like, hey, I know more about the symphony, and I maybe can get myself on the symphony as like, an in and just kind of puts her. I think she does put out the idea of being like, maybe I can be bait or like a spy with either the symphony or the scriabens. Or both. [00:26:41] Speaker D: Wild behavior. I mean euro with 100 bring up I mean with follow up I guess with graveling specifically about the problem they talked about there it got worse so huh. Their prison and we're being poisoned by the same poison that they replacing my father with so. [00:27:12] Speaker C: Oh that's really bad. [00:27:14] Speaker A: It's a secret prison. Also you are like kidnapped I guess. [00:27:21] Speaker C: Okay. [00:27:22] Speaker D: Secret police. [00:27:28] Speaker C: Okay well busting them out it's definitely a priority I priority. Sorry, I'm a little hungover symphony which we we know for a fact now Scrabin is happening [00:27:50] Speaker A: clock tower [00:27:53] Speaker C: and we do also have a surefire way so far to get to get rid of in the indoctrination we just can't tell how early. What what Very early ex ex position. I don't know exposure. Thank you looks like just yet. We know what a couple weeks in looks like though. [00:28:25] Speaker A: And did we veins the information we learned about the necklaces where if you put on the unbroken jewelry you can no longer take it off. Was that shared amongst the whole group or just part of the group? [00:28:41] Speaker C: I think it was shared amongst the [00:28:42] Speaker B: whole group [00:28:46] Speaker D: during the Johnny. Like post killing. [00:28:49] Speaker A: Yeah because I know we'd split up or do other stuff like so I wasn't sure who all I don't remember if we shared it all but either way if not then then we have now so we should all know that part now. [00:29:02] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:29:02] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:29:05] Speaker C: Okay. [00:29:06] Speaker A: There's that. [00:29:08] Speaker C: I don't think I would have left anything out about what happened during the visit with my brother or anything like that. I will also fill y' all in with with Lorelei's intentions of doing senator things or potential senator things. So that way for at least for the next bit we can kind of breathe a little easier in in the row. [00:29:33] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:29:38] Speaker C: I don't think I have anything else on my end. Oh, if we we might want to look into a member of the Twilight Watch who went to Mog Mel 30 some years ago. Dwarf, dark hair. Yeah, dwarf dark hair. Wore robes. Strong believer in the star mother [00:30:13] Speaker A: and [00:30:13] Speaker C: maybe a big nerd. [00:30:18] Speaker B: Well, [00:30:22] Speaker D: it may be a little clear where my priorities lie. However, if other things need to be done first. I understand. [00:30:36] Speaker A: How far are we away from another Clockwork Hall's attack? [00:30:41] Speaker B: There hasn't been one in several weeks, [00:30:47] Speaker A: so probably we're due for one. I know. That was on a cycle. [00:30:51] Speaker B: It was on a cycle. There was one that almost happened, but because Clockwork was prepared, they were able to thwart it before it happened. And there hasn't been one since that. It's been about two weeks. [00:31:04] Speaker C: I was gonna say, if we want. Because we do have. We do have the rest of the bugs back in action now. Maybe we could send them. Tristan was the one who had a very good relationship with the union reps. And maybe like, for now, you know, to ward off another attack or get information for us. They can. We can send them to focus on that, and then we can do the. Bertram. Bertram. Ertram. Yep. Sorry. That we can do. We can do the rescue stuff for that. Because that one, I think, requires, like, two setups. [00:31:53] Speaker E: Random thought regarding. Could we give whoever we send to scout the Clockwork. Could we give them that ring that does the marking? Because that way it, like, we could. We need at least two people, at least one person, depending on their skills. Right. We need someone that can communicate with us so that theoretically we can get over there quick. And someone that can track if the Clockwork creature escapes to see where it goes. [00:32:38] Speaker C: We could also let it escape on purpose. [00:32:42] Speaker E: Yeah. But just judging from some of the reports, I'm not sure if it will try to escape or just try to go murder. [00:32:52] Speaker B: None of them have tried to escape. They've all been essentially tampered with to cause chaos and wreak havoc. [00:33:00] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:33:02] Speaker C: Have they been stopped every single time? [00:33:05] Speaker B: They. They were stopped that one time, and then it hasn't happened the past few weeks. [00:33:13] Speaker E: Yeah. So first priority would be mitigating damage, and then the second priority would be info gathering. Gathering. If we could, like, fight them to a. Safely fight them to a standstill long enough that they felt the need to retreat, that would be good. I don't think that's likely, but I think we should have a contingency plan just in case. [00:33:42] Speaker B: You're talking about the robots. [00:33:44] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't think they have tactics. [00:33:48] Speaker B: They don't. They. [00:33:54] Speaker A: Did we ever locate Daria Argent? [00:33:57] Speaker B: You have not. [00:34:00] Speaker C: We have three. We have three actions. Right. Again, I think. I still think doing at least one and then sending most likely the bugs or something. Can we turn them into a squad? [00:34:14] Speaker B: Like, yes, we can. [00:34:15] Speaker C: It makes sense. [00:34:16] Speaker B: Yeah. They will. They killed as part of a squad. [00:34:19] Speaker F: If we send them all together as a squad, is that called the swarm? [00:34:25] Speaker C: Technically, I guess. Technically we just called the. Like, they were. I think they were canonically always called the bug family, despite only two of them for a very long time actually being associated with each other. The other one followed his dreams and Gomez Adams is weighing him and. Yeah, send at least spending an action for that. So that way we're Still. We are still doing things there. And people don't think that we just dip for a while and then we can focus on Urtram. Because I think the urchin one is very. Like, it needs to happen sooner than later or else we might have a dead guy. That's just me. So I don't mind doing like one there and then two for Ertram. As long. Like, I. I just feel like, like we're. We are re. In theory, we are Re. Re. Breaking into the prison we got out of and then doing a prison break. I feel like we need more setup. We barely have information. [00:35:37] Speaker B: You also don't know in there. [00:35:40] Speaker D: Yeah, we're also 100 expecting this. [00:35:43] Speaker C: Yeah, it's. It's a trap. It's a traps trap. You know, but like, the idea is like. Like, like we're not breaking in right now. I'm not saying we're breaking in right now. I'm saying that we don't even have information. We need to push as much resources to the Eartrum situation as we can. You know, if again, I like beef. I don't think the vegetarians do. Okay. [00:36:14] Speaker D: Just because they're a Minotaur. [00:36:16] Speaker C: It's 100 because they're a minotaur. [00:36:23] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. [00:36:26] Speaker A: Like, you have an issue with them. And I was so confused. I'm like, I'm trying to make this work in my head and I'm having a hard time. Why don't you like her drum? [00:36:39] Speaker C: It's because they're a minotaur. That means they're part cow. And so if they die, they be. Get. They be. They technically beef. [00:36:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:48] Speaker F: If you ask me. [00:36:49] Speaker B: So First Action is going to be sending Widow and Yellow Jacket into Clockwork Calls to gather information and do whatever there to support their second action. Gathering information. [00:37:08] Speaker C: Gathering info. That's what I was thinking. It's just that. Yeah. [00:37:10] Speaker D: Gathering info. Probably. [00:37:16] Speaker A: Specifically, like, urgent situation. [00:37:20] Speaker B: Yeah. The Earthroom situation. [00:37:24] Speaker A: Okay. [00:37:24] Speaker C: Just. [00:37:24] Speaker A: Just double checking because we talked about a few other things. Yeah. [00:37:31] Speaker C: Also, I think we lost a squad. No. [00:37:35] Speaker B: Yes. [00:37:36] Speaker C: Totally lost the bloody. [00:37:41] Speaker B: Like Oscar and Clover. Yeah. That's no longer a squad. But you can replace them with [00:37:49] Speaker C: someone else. [00:37:50] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You replace them with your new squad. [00:37:57] Speaker C: I'm doing that right now. [00:38:01] Speaker B: Yes. Also, Fun fact, add 29 to your follower count as that is the current tally of the Bloody blades. [00:38:14] Speaker A: Oh, nice. [00:38:15] Speaker C: 29. [00:38:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:38:17] Speaker A: Nice. [00:38:19] Speaker C: We're going up in the world, y'. All. [00:38:22] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:38:22] Speaker E: We may want to decrease our threat level, though, because we're sitting at 45 [00:38:28] Speaker C: you don't want a second inquisition? [00:38:31] Speaker D: You mean a third one? Our fourth. We already had two. [00:38:37] Speaker A: Maximum amount of inquisitions. You can have failed to roll twice. Huh? [00:38:43] Speaker D: And the limit does not exist. [00:38:47] Speaker A: Endless inquisitions. We can do the Inquisition run where we simply max out. We break the game by having so many inquisitions after us that we clip no glitch. [00:38:59] Speaker D: We have all the Inquisitions. [00:39:01] Speaker E: They bring in the helicopters. Like they invent helicopters just for the Inquisition against us. [00:39:10] Speaker A: They just twilight watch into. Into birds. [00:39:17] Speaker D: They have the technology. No, we don't want that. We don't want them to get it. [00:39:27] Speaker A: Screaming okay, so information threat reduction then? Was that what we were saying? [00:39:35] Speaker D: I think for the last one, I think that's probably maybe a decent call. Especially if we're gonna be like running into Silver Court. [00:39:47] Speaker C: Yeah, that's fair. Oh, speaking of. Of repertoire reputation in general. Oh, you. Would you say that our rep and salvation row is like, better than Yikes? [00:40:01] Speaker B: Oh, much better than Yikes. [00:40:03] Speaker C: Would you say that's better than bad? [00:40:05] Speaker B: It's better than bad. Yeah. [00:40:07] Speaker C: Would you say that it's better than meh? [00:40:09] Speaker B: Oh, most certainly. [00:40:11] Speaker A: What about neutral? [00:40:12] Speaker C: Better than neutral. [00:40:13] Speaker D: Is it good? [00:40:15] Speaker C: Is it okay? Is it better than okay? [00:40:17] Speaker B: It's better than okay. [00:40:18] Speaker C: Is it better than good? [00:40:20] Speaker B: Yes. [00:40:21] Speaker C: Is it better than good? [00:40:22] Speaker E: Very good. [00:40:23] Speaker B: It is very good. [00:40:25] Speaker C: Is it better than very good? [00:40:27] Speaker B: I'm saying you are very good right now. [00:40:29] Speaker C: Okay. All right. [00:40:32] Speaker D: I feel like I'm going insane. [00:40:36] Speaker C: And you keep that in. And you keep that in because. Because that was important information. If you guys look at the chart. The chart. [00:40:45] Speaker D: No, no, just keep the last one in, please. The extended God blooper. [00:40:58] Speaker A: Release. The Aki edition. [00:41:00] Speaker D: The Aki cut. Snyder, give us the Aki cut. [00:41:05] Speaker C: But like, wasn't that good, guys? Wouldn't you say that it was better than good? [00:41:10] Speaker A: I would say that this is very. [00:41:12] Speaker E: So we're reducing. [00:41:15] Speaker D: Reducing our wanted level or whatever the it's called right now. [00:41:18] Speaker A: Threat level. [00:41:19] Speaker B: Yeah. First, who would like to roll for the action of. I would call it currently [00:41:31] Speaker A: set something up. [00:41:33] Speaker B: Yeah. I would currently call it a set something up. [00:41:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I, I can do the clockwork roll because it's. I'm literally my sister and brother in law and be like, go team, go. Take my ring. Also, just in case you need a sigil something. [00:41:49] Speaker F: Parentheses. Joking. Let me roll because damn, someone has to cook. I love you. The viewers can't even hear like a middle finger. Say it out loud. [00:42:02] Speaker C: I. I flip you off. [00:42:05] Speaker F: Thank you. [00:42:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Rolls for that. The rolls for Your rebellion skill? [00:42:12] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm just. I've been spamming society for every time I have to roll. Cuz that's the only thing I'm actually trained in out of my two skills. And I dropped the dice so it doesn't count. I don't even know what I got. I have to get this with my feet. And I'm gonna use my hair point. I'm gonna use my hero point. It could have been better. It could have been worse. 30. [00:42:42] Speaker B: 30. Yeah, 30 is. Is success. [00:42:47] Speaker C: Nice. [00:42:48] Speaker A: So. [00:42:49] Speaker C: Oh, what was this roll again for the bugs? No, no, I know for the bugs. I meant the. The setup set up. Thank you. [00:43:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:43:00] Speaker C: Mission type. There you go. [00:43:02] Speaker B: Yeah, cool. [00:43:03] Speaker C: Get what you're looking for. Nice. [00:43:06] Speaker B: They will be continuing to help with the situation there. So information. Who would like to roll for the information? [00:43:16] Speaker F: I vote Alistair. That is the great mouse detective. [00:43:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:43:22] Speaker A: Yeah, makes sense. [00:43:25] Speaker F: As to your volunteer told to do this. [00:43:27] Speaker C: Rose. [00:43:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Alistair the recruiter. So I'm gonna need an athletics or acrobatics role. [00:43:39] Speaker F: I think Sparlock's dead. [00:43:44] Speaker A: Maybe he stepped away. [00:43:45] Speaker C: Why did we give him the athletics acrobatics rule again? Like why did we give him. Why. Why was that? [00:43:52] Speaker A: I'm so sorry. [00:43:53] Speaker D: Is it that role? Why don't I do it? [00:43:57] Speaker A: Hello? [00:43:57] Speaker E: Can you hear me now? [00:43:58] Speaker B: Yes, I can hear you now. [00:44:01] Speaker E: I mean, I. I have a good acrobatics. Like my athletics is plus three. Should we use that one? [00:44:08] Speaker C: No, that's how I feel about survival. [00:44:12] Speaker D: Therehere we go. [00:44:13] Speaker E: 18 for 38. [00:44:17] Speaker B: Good. [00:44:18] Speaker C: Oh, it's nice. Never mind. Keep doing that. Do your mousey backflips. I like to think that every other time, every, like, you're just like chill, you waddle sort of. Or hop. Because you're a rat and you're just like vibing, doing your thing. And then specifically for any recruiter roles, you start doing backflips. You start. You're like a hamster that can do tricks. You know, like. Like that rats can learn how to do tricks too. What am I saying? Either way, you're doing backflips. You take out a hoop, you set it up, you jump right through it. 10 out of 10. [00:44:55] Speaker B: So that is a critical success. [00:45:00] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:45:00] Speaker C: Thank you so much. [00:45:02] Speaker E: What was that? [00:45:03] Speaker A: Mouse detective? [00:45:06] Speaker E: What was that noise I just made? [00:45:09] Speaker A: Adorable. [00:45:10] Speaker C: Only you can tell. You're like a music teacher and everything. Literally only you can tell. [00:45:17] Speaker A: Canonical. That's what it was. It was canonically the noise. Alistair. [00:45:27] Speaker C: Oh my God. [00:45:27] Speaker D: Have you seen that? [00:45:29] Speaker C: Have you. Have you seen that? Like little, like rat or the mouse, I guess is a wild mouse that like, makes the, like howls of the moon. That's Alistair right now. [00:45:41] Speaker B: So you learn several things because of a critical success. You learn that there is a. A wing of cold iron that the Holy Blood has converted for their special prisoners. And that apparently there are quite a few people locked up in there and that guards have doubled. The place is a lot more heavily patrolled and guarded than it was before. [00:46:19] Speaker A: Any idea of who else might be in the special prison? Or do we just know that Ertram is one of them? [00:46:33] Speaker B: Rumor has it there's somebody in there that personally pissed off Elias Gore. [00:46:43] Speaker D: That's good for us. [00:46:44] Speaker A: A lot of people fit. That sounds like a friend. [00:46:47] Speaker C: I was gonna say. I was gonna say we might, we might, we might. Maybe depending. We might appreciate that, you know, we might want to get them too. [00:46:57] Speaker F: I do love pissing off Elias Gore. It's my hobby. [00:47:01] Speaker B: Same [00:47:04] Speaker C: actively. The more people that we have that have genuine beef with the people that we also have beef with, it's. It's always. It's literally a plus. [00:47:18] Speaker A: I'm torn between suggesting we take Vittorio with us to the prison break because useful and a chance for him to get revenge on Elias Gore. And also being like, maybe not, because that could make this personal for Elias Gore, who then makes it harder. [00:47:32] Speaker C: But I want to. I want to bring him too, because, like, he's so useful right now. He's so incredibly useful for something like this, actually. [00:47:44] Speaker A: I love that man. I guess we can get his thoughts on the matter once we have made our actual prison break plans. [00:47:55] Speaker C: We summoned him. [00:47:57] Speaker A: Vittorio, Grandma [00:48:03] Speaker D: from a pool of blood, like bloodborne. [00:48:11] Speaker C: Is probably actively here while we're making our plans. Like, let's listen. Be so for real right now. [00:48:16] Speaker A: Why would we keep him from them? Anyway? We dealt with the mole situation. [00:48:21] Speaker F: If anything, he is so grandpa core and so cool. He gets his own cup of tea to sip his now it's just like refilling it as everyone's doing the meat. He's like, yes, very good. Thank you. [00:48:29] Speaker A: We're all like crowded over the war table and he's like in the corner armchair just sipping tea and having a grand time. Should we do the last roll though, before we, like, get into planning? [00:48:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Otherwise do the reduce threat roll. Which one of you would like to do that? [00:48:53] Speaker D: I hate to be the one to say it, but I technically haven't rolled in any of these in a minute, [00:48:57] Speaker F: so I did fail a roll. Please don't put Me on the spot again. [00:49:06] Speaker D: What do I. What is this role? [00:49:09] Speaker A: One of your higher brand skills? [00:49:11] Speaker C: Performance or intimidation? [00:49:13] Speaker D: Thank goodness. My intimidation is better, right? [00:49:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:49:22] Speaker D: Do I use fancy green dice or cousin dice? So I'm gonna use cousin dice. That's not terrible. That's plus 15, so that's a 26. [00:49:43] Speaker B: 26 is the DC. [00:49:51] Speaker D: So wait, I'm enfeebled. Still on my sheet. Doesn't matter. Okay. Okay, cool. [00:49:59] Speaker C: Several days. We're fine. [00:50:01] Speaker D: No, I know. I just realized it was still a machine. [00:50:04] Speaker B: You. Yeah. You reduce threat by D6. [00:50:13] Speaker D: Whole D6. [00:50:14] Speaker B: All D6. [00:50:16] Speaker D: Let me use. I have the Monster of the Evil Hat. Sorry. Evil Hat dice. That's for monster of the week. I use it this morning to bring very nice to me. That is a four. So it could be nicer. [00:50:30] Speaker B: It's not bad. Four. [00:50:31] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:50:32] Speaker B: You reduce it by four. [00:50:33] Speaker D: Hell yeah. Are we under 40 yet? [00:50:36] Speaker B: No, I. I think it makes it a 41. [00:50:39] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:50:41] Speaker D: Close enough. [00:50:43] Speaker C: Yeah. We needed a full six to be like under 40, right? [00:50:51] Speaker B: All right. That means cap things off with the threat roll. The D100. [00:50:58] Speaker F: Oh, my God. Can I roll it? I want to trigger a double inquisition. [00:51:03] Speaker D: Well, you failed a roll last time, so we should go to the next person who hasn't rolled, which I guess is Aki. [00:51:10] Speaker B: Hasn't rolled for a threat roll in a bit. Yeah. [00:51:12] Speaker F: No, last time wasn't a threat roll. That I did. It was one of the. It was to lower the threat, so I increase that threat. Now I want to do the threat roll because I think it's funny. But Aki can do it if she wants. You know, if you guys want to, [00:51:22] Speaker D: like, let's have Aki do it. [00:51:25] Speaker A: That's fair. [00:51:25] Speaker F: If you guys want to succeed or whatever, you know. [00:51:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:51:29] Speaker C: You can hear the fear in their hearts. [00:51:31] Speaker A: Okay. [00:51:31] Speaker C: Shut up. Like. [00:51:34] Speaker F: No, I thrive off the fear. It's funny. [00:51:36] Speaker C: It's just. It's just a straight D20. Right? [00:51:41] Speaker B: It's D100. [00:51:42] Speaker C: D100. Thank you. I like. I. I don't roll these. Hijacking. You can't. Remember. [00:51:48] Speaker A: Do we want a high number or a low number? I don't. High above. Okay. [00:51:54] Speaker D: Yeah, we keep thinking it's low because of other games. [00:51:58] Speaker C: Yeah. 94. [00:52:00] Speaker B: 94. Yeah. You're good. [00:52:02] Speaker A: Nice. [00:52:03] Speaker C: Imagine if this was to contact God. That's all I'm gonna say. [00:52:11] Speaker B: That brings another rebellion phase. Yes. That's the word. To a close. And you have the information and you can continue working on your plan if you want to make that happen. This week and this week. In game. Not this week. Right now, when we're recording. [00:52:34] Speaker A: I appreciate the clarification. [00:52:38] Speaker D: Sick. [00:52:43] Speaker C: So, like, I really like the idea that Elias Score has more enemies. Shouldn't be a. Wouldn't be opposed to making this a bigger prison break. But it's riskier. [00:53:03] Speaker A: Riskier, but also if we are able to rescue more potentially political prisoners, then I think that will strike quite a blow against all of the establishments. [00:53:16] Speaker D: I think also if we do a bigger break, it's harder to tell who exactly is being broken out. [00:53:24] Speaker A: That is also true. Then they cannot target them towards all their families. [00:53:28] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:53:29] Speaker A: At least not as easily. [00:53:31] Speaker D: Correct. [00:53:33] Speaker A: I mean, start making a room in one of our safe houses. I think we're about to get another roommate. Yori, do you have room in your bedroom? [00:53:47] Speaker D: Depends where I know one of our safe houses. I don't have a bedroom. [00:53:52] Speaker C: Okay, really quickly, above table. We technically got the crow and hammer back, though. [00:53:56] Speaker B: Yes, you did. Yeah, it's true. [00:53:59] Speaker C: So we. We can in fact now start dumping people there. [00:54:03] Speaker D: It's true. [00:54:03] Speaker A: I'm trying to set Yuri up for a game. One bed situation we can do. [00:54:11] Speaker C: Look, I never said. Just. I'm talking about everybody else, okay? [00:54:13] Speaker F: We're. [00:54:14] Speaker C: There's no way that we're. That we're gonna be like bringing Ertram with. With the rest of them and be like, yeah, you're all the. [00:54:21] Speaker A: The same. [00:54:22] Speaker C: Would you. You can go. You can go to the. I do want to clarify though, for now, we vacated North Star ornaments, though, because we're not sure about that level of safety. Yeah, correct. [00:54:39] Speaker D: So we did take care of. Oh, but they could have the utter. People. [00:54:45] Speaker A: We don't know who she passed that on to. [00:54:47] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, that's true. [00:54:49] Speaker A: Because there's still some former Bloody Blades who have not been identified and may potentially try to wheedle their way back in. I don't know. Or at least during the wind. [00:55:00] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:55:03] Speaker A: How likely do we think it is that the way that we got that originally is still a valid way in, or do we think that has been discovered? [00:55:15] Speaker D: I. I don't know if going through this, the sewers have been compromised, because that's. That was. Well, was that an unbroken? Remember, we kept seeing things. [00:55:30] Speaker B: It was a fox. [00:55:32] Speaker A: It was the fox. [00:55:35] Speaker D: Well, then if it was a secret even to the unbroken, then it possibly [00:55:41] Speaker A: is still safe unknown, because it was also pointed out to us by Akos. [00:55:48] Speaker D: But I think Akos made enemies within the unbroken, and that told no one anything. [00:56:00] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:56:03] Speaker D: Where is that? [00:56:07] Speaker C: Still traveling. [00:56:09] Speaker A: Who Knows. [00:56:12] Speaker D: Yeah. Probably just left. [00:56:15] Speaker A: Probably. We could send someone to just see if the entrance is still there. [00:56:23] Speaker D: Oh, you can still turn to a rat. Yeah, like a animal rat. Probably sneak over and not be noticed. [00:56:38] Speaker B: It depends because it is like you will. It is several hours worth of travel between the. The ends of it. [00:56:48] Speaker C: We actively have Akos's people with us. Like his scouts. Like we can just send them to do it. They probably even know where it is. [00:56:56] Speaker D: True. Crystal around. That's good. [00:56:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:57:00] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:57:00] Speaker C: They've been. They've been helping us like this whole time. [00:57:04] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. They just. A lot of stuff happening. 100%. By the way, this is so obvious. Yuri is so much more distracted than normal. [00:57:20] Speaker C: So I'm gonna look at Louis and just quietly be like, damn, he really likes bad. [00:57:30] Speaker E: Wow. [00:57:33] Speaker A: They wrote a love letter. [00:57:35] Speaker C: No way. [00:57:38] Speaker D: Who you are not being that quiet. [00:57:45] Speaker A: So first thing we want to do is determine whether or not our way in is still viable. And also have a backup plan in case it is not a way out as well. It would be great if it is the way out as well, but I don't think we can guarantee that. Especially if this turns into something bigger. And we don't know if we're going to break out more people until we meet them and learn who they are. [00:58:11] Speaker D: Do you think the mansion. [00:58:16] Speaker A: Oh, go ahead. [00:58:17] Speaker D: Well, I'm saying if. Should we go back to the match and see if it's fully cleared out? Cuz that'll be a place we could have people stay. [00:58:27] Speaker A: The one we keep staying in all [00:58:29] Speaker D: the time at the Wilson craft? The one where we. God, what's his name? Talos. [00:58:42] Speaker B: You do have to tell. You have the keys and you have everything. And Talus's manor does require a little bit of cleaning, but there's not exactly anybody that's coming to claim it. [00:58:58] Speaker D: I mean, [00:59:01] Speaker A: what is your. [00:59:03] Speaker D: We killed them, so we get it, right? [00:59:07] Speaker B: Why do we want Talus's signet ring? He did give it to you before he. [00:59:11] Speaker D: Well, you're gonna be getting an influx of people. And the sewers lead to the tower, which is in the same area. [00:59:22] Speaker A: I see. I see. That is. [00:59:24] Speaker D: You know, I could go. I'd be fine going myself and cleaning it up. It's gonna be a lot, but [00:59:33] Speaker A: this is. [00:59:34] Speaker C: Do you even know how to clean? [00:59:37] Speaker D: Come on. [00:59:39] Speaker C: Look, I. [00:59:44] Speaker D: I barely stayed home with my family. I took care of myself just fine. [00:59:51] Speaker C: You took care of a whole house by yourself just fine. [00:59:55] Speaker D: Look, I'll do the work is what I'm saying. We don't need to hire anyone. [01:00:07] Speaker A: Well, let's table the discussion of cleaning Talos Manor. I think it is a good option as a lodging place once we have gone through it and taken care of all the rules and things. And hey, at least the biggest corpse is gone and not dead anymore, so that's something. So now we have a place to put people. If we end up rescuing a lot instead of just one, we still need to figure out how to rescue them into the first place. We have plan A, of course, which is to go in the way we got out, get them, go out the way we came in, nice easy circle. But nothing ever works out the way we want it to, so. And also, I feel like we just still need more information. What is the. What is the viability of having [01:01:06] Speaker C: like [01:01:06] Speaker A: an inside man getting somebody to infiltrate and pose as a guard for a few days. [01:01:17] Speaker C: Aubrey. Aubrey, do. Could I roughly guesstimate how long. How. How long it will take of the heaven to earth smackdown for my brother to be clean? Because he is literally the person with all of the access. He just needs to be clean from indoctrination. [01:01:47] Speaker B: Who knows? Because it's the first person you're like really doing someone who's heavily. So it could be you could also take that chance. If it's a good day, I. [01:02:04] Speaker D: I know a lamp lighter that works for me. Works. Yeah, works. At this point I could see if I could have them run over, do some scouting. [01:02:21] Speaker A: Is a lamplighter enough to get into cold Iron Prison? I'm not strictly speaking guards are strictly speaking religious figures, just some of them are deeply corrupted and also fight. But I think it is usually the coin guard who are the ones in the prison. Yeah. [01:02:44] Speaker D: You can probably buy out the coin guard. [01:02:47] Speaker C: We could. Lou, how good are your disguises? [01:02:53] Speaker A: Some of them very good. Some of them if you're not too scrutinizing, not too bad bed. [01:03:00] Speaker C: We could also just use my brother's likeness. I don't think you understand how high up he worked. It would draw some suspicion if we visit too frequently. [01:03:16] Speaker A: But I think we only need a day [01:03:22] Speaker D: get disguise. You good. Yeah. [01:03:27] Speaker C: And then the rest of you could maybe if we can get our hands on some uniforms. Be it the lamp lighters or the coin guard sneak in that way. [01:03:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:40] Speaker C: Not saying we, we. We. We break it. We like we break out the people on the same day. I mean, purely information. [01:03:48] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:03:49] Speaker C: So we can maybe see the layout too. [01:03:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Because the person is going to have all kinds of people beyond just the gods themselves. There are people who have to do the cooking and the laundry. Some of that may be prisoners, but some of it may be outsourced. [01:04:06] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, yeah, that'll be. That'll be a really good one. He's got to walk in confident. I mean, [01:04:17] Speaker A: are you able to turn anyone into Arat or only you? [01:04:23] Speaker E: Only me. But I've gotten really good at it. I'm no longer limited to 10 minutes. [01:04:30] Speaker A: That's very good. [01:04:32] Speaker E: So I can. Yeah. At will. [01:04:42] Speaker D: Wow. [01:04:43] Speaker A: Good to know. Good to know. [01:04:45] Speaker E: Or at least if I'm reading it correctly, I. [01:04:51] Speaker A: If we can get. This is very silly, so I need you to bear with me because I actually think it is viable when we are in the prison. Correct me if I'm wrong, Aubrey. I remember lots of little racks running around the prison, just loose, just there just for the rats. If we were able to get one of those rats or several of them, or release rats into other prison, I could talk to them and get information from them. [01:05:25] Speaker B: Lou has officially become a Disney princess. [01:05:29] Speaker D: This is new. [01:05:30] Speaker A: I'm better with birds, but I can do rats, too. [01:05:35] Speaker E: How do you roll to seduce a rat? [01:05:38] Speaker A: I'm not seducing them. [01:05:40] Speaker C: Wouldn't you know the best, Alistair? [01:05:44] Speaker E: That. No, that was. That was not in character. That was me thinking through how I would get. What, like, I. I'm just imagining Alistair going into the. [01:06:01] Speaker C: When a daddy rat and a mommy rat love each other very much. [01:06:06] Speaker E: What, like, dude, flutter my rat? Or I. It wouldn't be. It would be. What is it bobbling? Is that what boggling? [01:06:16] Speaker C: No, [01:06:21] Speaker E: my eyes said a pretty girl rat or pretty, pretty guy rat. I. I don't think Alistair is particular about rats. [01:06:33] Speaker F: Is Alastair bisexual? [01:06:35] Speaker C: Bisexual? [01:06:38] Speaker A: Okay, Liza, [01:06:42] Speaker C: I have it. [01:06:44] Speaker E: Like, I generally don't think about my, like, my character's sexuality, but I do know at the very least that probably does not prefer, like, rat rats. Like, the inability to speak is kind of a turn off. [01:07:07] Speaker A: I would hope so. [01:07:09] Speaker C: Miss some classes [01:07:13] Speaker A: anyway. [01:07:14] Speaker E: Maybe an awakened rat. [01:07:17] Speaker A: You think so? [01:07:19] Speaker B: Listeners, I'd like to report that Dusty's head is in their hands. [01:07:23] Speaker A: That's been for a while. It's just Boba Fett in the background now. Dusty's gone. Boba Fett's playing Yuri now. [01:07:33] Speaker D: Oh. [01:07:36] Speaker A: So if I can get to prison and then ask the rat about prison later. [01:07:44] Speaker D: I mean, also going back to the birds. I mean, birds, if their cells are open to any kind of air, [01:07:54] Speaker B: their windows. [01:07:56] Speaker A: I can do rats and birds. I can do any. I can do both. I can ask a bunch of. I can Ask. I can get a flock. I just need the birds or the rats or both. I just remember rats being present at the time. But they can map it out for us. They are very clever. I told you it was silly. Please stop laughing, Yuri. [01:08:21] Speaker E: No, it's a great idea. I think we. But we need to get one of the rats that lives in it. [01:08:29] Speaker A: I mean not necessarily. That would mean we have someone who is most familiar. But if. If not then any rat can run around fine and. And make friends with the other rats and learn from them and you know, it's like a. Like a whole thing. Just because access to a rat from the prison feels complicated without going in and this is the alternative to us going in just for information. [01:08:59] Speaker E: I mean I would not have. Have any. I can get places pretty easily. Like you know, I have a what +19 in stealth and can turn into a rat. [01:09:16] Speaker A: You said it is not 10 minutes anymore. How long is it? [01:09:23] Speaker E: So it doesn't actually say. [01:09:31] Speaker D: Is this a spell? [01:09:34] Speaker E: No, it's a racial trait. It's. It's a little bit confusing. Yeah because it says you can transform into an innocuous looking rat. You gain the effect effects of a first rate rank pest form spell. But there's no limit and you must do the thing. It's one action I guess. [01:10:12] Speaker B: Don't think it scales because it would tell you if it would scale. [01:10:18] Speaker E: Yeah, but it's passive pest form. Right, But it doesn't. Okay, I. I think the rules interaction, it's a single action to use pest form and it doesn't have a limited [01:10:36] Speaker B: use [01:10:39] Speaker E: so you should think that means [01:10:41] Speaker D: you could do it every 10 minutes. [01:10:43] Speaker E: Yeah, well you could do it every nine and a half minutes. I don't think there's any. [01:10:50] Speaker D: That does mean though you still need to spend the time because as a rat you can't cast a spell. You would need to pop back out as Alistair casts a spell again. So technically it is so only every 10 minutes. [01:11:03] Speaker E: But I. It's not a spell. [01:11:06] Speaker D: Well, casting pest form itself as how it reads you could still have to spend the action. [01:11:13] Speaker B: You would not be able to do it while in pest form. So you can't use an action while in pest form to continue it. You would have to go back recast [01:11:22] Speaker E: it and then you can't use [01:11:29] Speaker D: not magic in that form. [01:11:30] Speaker E: It's not magic. That's the thing is you're not actually. [01:11:34] Speaker D: It's treated as magic per dispel. I'm looking at the 5th right now. [01:11:37] Speaker B: Yeah, it has the primal trait. So it is treated as magic. [01:11:41] Speaker E: Yeah, it does. Oh, it does have the primal trait. [01:11:45] Speaker F: Unfortunately, rats are not primal enough to disability. [01:11:51] Speaker D: Going back. This is a good secondary, however. Sounds very complicated and it feels like a lot can go wrong, I think. [01:12:04] Speaker A: So this sounds less complicated than us sneaking in to get the layout. [01:12:11] Speaker D: Well, I feel like the worst that [01:12:12] Speaker A: can go wrong is that the rat doesn't learn anything. In which case all we have wasted is talking to our rats. And we can try plan A, which is plan B, which is personally going to reconnaissance. It's less dangerous and there is less. If. If the rat gets caught, it's not going to come back to us. It's going to be bad for the rats. But, you know. Yeah, who's going to catch a rat? Except for the coin guard who cut Alice there, but it's different. [01:12:48] Speaker D: Or a predator that likes eating rats. [01:12:51] Speaker A: Again, a tragedy, and I feel really bad about it, but it's more so [01:12:57] Speaker D: that we won't get any information. If all the rats get eaten, they can't all die. Personally, I just think there's too many holes in that plant to trust we're not in control of every part of the plant. We're hoping that these rats learn something and are not just hanging out in the same room. [01:13:17] Speaker A: But I can talk to it and ask it to do stuff. But also I think that you are understandable, very worried and want your fingers in all of the pies because otherwise it feels too out of control. And yours. [01:13:37] Speaker C: Why don't we just do both? What is stopping us from doing both? [01:13:42] Speaker A: I was just trying to mitigate the risk to us before we actually have to go in and do the break in. That is all. [01:13:54] Speaker D: Yeah, but yeah, we could then. No, you're right. You're right. We could try that. See what we learn, and then take what we learn and still go in ourselves. I think [01:14:10] Speaker B: seems like a pretty good plan so far. [01:14:13] Speaker D: I guess we need to find a bunch of rats. [01:14:16] Speaker A: It's Malachi. All I have to do, honestly, if I just put that food, then I can get something to calm, nibble on it, and then I can talk to it and then we can just make it happen. [01:14:29] Speaker D: All right, [01:14:32] Speaker A: I got three spells, baby. I'm embracing my bird self. [01:14:41] Speaker D: This is just like the woman from Home Alone 2, too. [01:14:49] Speaker B: The pigeon lady. [01:14:50] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it could be. I could be the pigeon lady. Yeah. [01:14:57] Speaker C: Gosh, did we want to bring anybody else? [01:15:02] Speaker F: I. [01:15:05] Speaker C: Our group is good. And yeah, sure, more people, a little bit more dangerous, but I am advocating for the chicken man. [01:15:20] Speaker A: I feel like you could use any name beyond that one. But also, maybe we should wait to [01:15:31] Speaker D: see what you learn. [01:15:33] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:15:34] Speaker D: Is that who you talk? [01:15:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:15:36] Speaker D: Gonna look over chicken man. [01:15:39] Speaker B: Kind of just shrugs as he drinks his tea. [01:15:43] Speaker C: I didn't figure out what birdie was, and I like chickens, so he's not a chicken. [01:15:51] Speaker D: And so you. We don't have time. No, I don't have time. [01:15:55] Speaker C: Yeah, I call him a chicken boy. [01:16:03] Speaker F: You can ask what bird he is gesturing to him while he's sipping his tea. [01:16:11] Speaker B: And she's seen the blue jay when he is in a hybrid transformation. [01:16:16] Speaker F: Does she know what it is? [01:16:18] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. Do I know what it. Like, how many blue jays fly in Malach. Had Aubrey. [01:16:23] Speaker B: Like some sort of blue. [01:16:24] Speaker D: Chickens are in Malachi. [01:16:29] Speaker C: Seen more chickens than I've seen blue jays. And [01:16:35] Speaker F: chickens are the only bird you know, [01:16:40] Speaker C: also, like, I like chickens. I don't like blue jays. I don't even. I don't even know what one is. My only reference is this one. I don't think they're that big. [01:16:54] Speaker A: They are not, but they are very smart. [01:16:58] Speaker C: So we're chickens. [01:17:00] Speaker A: Smarter than chickens. They can use tools. [01:17:05] Speaker C: There's some chicken slander going on, and the next person to inherit your curse is gonna be a chicken. And they're gonna be like, wow, where's all this generational. [01:17:15] Speaker A: Nothing against the chicken. I'm just saying. Bridges were known for their cleverness. They are tip of corvids. They are. They are known for intellect. This is beyond the point. Lord Valeria would be a great asset to us when we go in. Yes, but I think we should wait to make our roster until after we have determined what we are going up against. Reconnaissance first, then the go team. [01:17:45] Speaker C: I was talking about bringing him in for the reconnaissance part. [01:17:47] Speaker A: Remember? [01:17:48] Speaker C: The. He can cast invisibility on all of us. [01:17:51] Speaker A: I don't think you can do everyone, but. [01:17:54] Speaker D: Oh, I could be invisible. I. I learned a trick. So if. Vittorio, how many people can you make invisible? [01:18:08] Speaker B: I. I can guess. The spell that will let me make six people around me invisible. [01:18:17] Speaker A: That's all of us. Yeah, except for around you. Does not include you. Or does include you. Are you part basics? [01:18:27] Speaker B: I mean, I don't believe it includes me. This doesn't me looking at the spell, because the spell is very unhelpful in that it does not. It does not specify if the caster is one of those people. Well, awkward. [01:18:39] Speaker D: If you could do that, I could do it to myself. That's everyone. [01:18:46] Speaker A: Do we have to stay in a cluster in Order to be invisible or can we walk 10ft? [01:18:51] Speaker B: 10ft around me? [01:18:53] Speaker A: That might be turkey, but if it is very. If the guard is as heightened as they say, it might be tricky. [01:19:03] Speaker B: It's. It's certainly something. I guess with more information, we can certainly make a plan. [01:19:16] Speaker D: We do. [01:19:17] Speaker A: I'll go get some rats. Yeah. [01:19:24] Speaker B: You're all sort of getting ready to separate and you hear a door. You hear a knock on the mansion door. [01:19:34] Speaker F: Oh, can I get it? [01:19:37] Speaker B: If you would like to. Yes. [01:19:39] Speaker F: I'll go get it. I have like a. I have my little tray with my tea in it. So I. I'll go get the door. [01:19:44] Speaker A: Wait, wait, don't. No, no, no, no, no, no. [01:19:47] Speaker D: Don't just go to the door. Don't just what? [01:19:51] Speaker B: The front door. [01:19:52] Speaker A: Knock on this door. [01:19:54] Speaker F: You know what? That's a good idea. Can I peek out the window first? I guess I. I was like in customer service, but it outlike. Oh, right. I'm not serving the tray. There could be a threat. I say, putting down the tray of tea. My bad. I was in. I was in the tea mode. Can I. Can I peek? [01:20:17] Speaker B: Yeah. You see two people outside of the door. They both currently have hoods that are pulled up over their face. [01:20:27] Speaker F: I whisper back to the group. Two hooded people that have the hoods over their face. [01:20:34] Speaker A: We're not home. [01:20:39] Speaker C: And is. If I peek out the window, is there anything to like anything I don't know, signifying of these hooded people? Like colors, mashing robes, etc. Grass. [01:20:53] Speaker B: Give me a perception check. [01:20:57] Speaker A: That's looking good. [01:21:03] Speaker C: 32. [01:21:04] Speaker B: 32. One of the things you notice is that just say the one on the left as they move, you sort of see this braid of white hair and sort of the gray tinted skin. And then the other is wearing traveling clothes, not clothes that are common to Malachant. They're in a very different style. [01:21:37] Speaker A: Akos and a friend. [01:21:39] Speaker D: Well, they went to get someone. Right. [01:21:42] Speaker C: It might be AOS and someone else. [01:21:46] Speaker D: Well, Yuri is grabbing your gun. [01:21:49] Speaker C: Yeah, just. I'll answer the door. Yeah, you just have a gun pointed at me. Okay. Yeah, I meant that in a good way. [01:21:59] Speaker A: I'll be ready to. [01:21:59] Speaker F: I'll be ready. I'm. I'm ready. In case something happens. [01:22:03] Speaker C: Is n. With a frying pan. [01:22:05] Speaker F: I do have a frying pan. [01:22:08] Speaker D: Do a gun in a frying pan. All right. [01:22:10] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:22:11] Speaker C: A frying pan has been a pretty useful weapon in like, media these years, you know. [01:22:17] Speaker A: That's true. [01:22:20] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:22:20] Speaker C: And when. When everybody's sufficiently ready, I will open the Door. [01:22:25] Speaker B: Yeah. As you two do, you say anything, do anything, or you just open the door. [01:22:34] Speaker C: I look, the first thing I say is, this better be good. If you're gonna stab me, do it quick. [01:22:44] Speaker B: Figure on the left turns towards you and kind of pulls their hood up slightly and you see knockos and they give you a smile and say, sorry I'm late. It's been hell of a month. Can we come in? [01:23:02] Speaker C: Telling me, sure, I'm gonna let them in. [01:23:13] Speaker B: And as you let them in, the door will close behind and we'll pick up with that next time [01:23:23] Speaker F: roll for frying pan. [01:23:25] Speaker C: Anyways, we did, in fact some of the devil when we were talking about him. [01:23:30] Speaker B: Damn it. I was being like, wow, you have no idea that he was planning to come up at the end of this episode. You're like, whiskey Jack, damn it. [01:23:38] Speaker F: Whiskey Jack. [01:23:40] Speaker D: Doing this by accident. Where is Ertrum? [01:23:46] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:23:46] Speaker A: What? [01:23:47] Speaker F: Urchom shows up in our door. [01:23:53] Speaker C: If you say Ertra three times, then [01:23:55] Speaker A: we don't have to say Ertra three [01:23:57] Speaker F: times in front of a mirror with a cup of tea. You get told to shut up by the rest of the house. [01:24:02] Speaker A: No, no. That's how you get the lady of Thorns. Imitating Ertra. [01:24:08] Speaker F: Oh my God, you're right. [01:24:09] Speaker C: Is the lady of Thorns, like Bloody Mary, like. [01:24:20] Speaker F: Anyways, may I take us out, please? [01:24:23] Speaker B: Yes.
