[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam. [00:00:43] Speaker B: Waking up dreaming Dr. Long I cannot [00:00:49] Speaker A: find meaning hold my hand let me [00:00:53] Speaker C: stay by your side through this never ending night. [00:00:59] Speaker B: I can feel it now it holds [00:01:02] Speaker C: me all the these demons around me [00:01:07] Speaker A: in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming. [00:01:31] Speaker B: Welcome back to Goblin's Gaze. I'm Aubrey here gm. I'll test for my players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing and then we'll get rolling into things. [00:01:39] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante Grave Wing who is a Nagaji's self monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns. [00:01:51] Speaker C: Hello, I am Faris she her and [00:01:53] Speaker D: I play Aloha Tvre Also she her [00:01:55] Speaker C: a bardic thaumaturge beast kin doing her best while juggling a family curse, falling in love and of course the end of the world. [00:02:05] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they he pronouns. Name playing Eu formerly Moran, still a problem, just angrier now they are blood hunter Nephilim problem just just trying to fix things even though it's all bad. They also use they he pronouns. [00:02:30] Speaker F: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire, the revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he him pronouns. [00:02:52] Speaker A: Hi, I'm Tick. I use he she they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall who uses he they pronouns. He cooks, he cleans, he eats people and has an alien parasite living in his spine slowly consuming him. What more could you ask for? [00:03:05] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Alyssa, my pronouns are they them and I play Laetha Drici, the fourth dhampir, dandy, rogue, failed matricide with a negative one constitution modifier. Leith uses she any pronouns. [00:03:19] Speaker B: So tell me what happened last time Mama. [00:03:23] Speaker A: We killed a man. I hope I don't get copyright struck for that but we killed Johnny Rotten actually really efficiently and all of the guards except for one one was alive and it was a very perilous fight. I will say a lot of cool stuff happened. I could not 1v1 a guy. I was fighting for my life in the corner and someone had to help me which I think was really funny. But we defeated AKA killed Johnny Rotten and almost every single one of his guards except for one that we kept alive because Gravel was like I think mercy is the correct option to have someone to ask things. We found the corpse of a drug peddling professor temporarily Brought them to life to ask three questions. The ghost succeeded, but apparently was like, damn, Johnny's dad. That guy was kind of an ass. Yeah, I'll be a narc. Because Le was like, yeah, I think this person's telling the truth. And kind of sent some information to us about, you know, the drug peddling phenomenon. And we went out of that building with a bag, well, actually, in a blaze of glory because we set it on fire as Lorelei made a grand statement about some, you know, hey, Johnny's fucking dead and I know everyone hated him. [00:04:28] Speaker C: Let's. [00:04:28] Speaker A: Let's do some fixing up right now. Except more eloquently by a very powerful woman, because I love women. So we all went to the fun little bar. We had some fun little bar time. And there were a few nice little conversations here and there that I'm trying to recall the exact details of. I just remember I was being, like, destroyed by a ghost that was also talking to Alistair about their entire thesis statement while I had to sit there just vacantly staring into the void like, this doesn't have to do with cooking. I'm gonna throw up. But, yeah, maybe Yuri has a rat curse. Maybe other people have had fun conversations about their relationships. You'll have to tune in and see all those little spicy, juicy little details. But we did kill the rat man and the bad rat man. We love Alistair in this house. [00:05:15] Speaker B: Well, yeah. So it's the day after you have all murdered Johnny. I think most of you probably spent the night at the Crow and Hammer in some form. Some of you may be more hungover than others, but you have about three days left of your week. [00:05:36] Speaker G: Oh, can I ask Aubrey? So last time, Alouette and I stayed behind at the brothel to see if anyone from the Lamplighters or the Blade came by. Did anyone come by? Or after we set it on fire? [00:05:55] Speaker B: Feel like I made you roll a perception check last time. [00:05:59] Speaker C: Okay, sure, one of us did. Okay. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah, as far as you could tell, nobody came by to check things out. [00:06:10] Speaker G: Damn. Just discarding him. [00:06:15] Speaker D: I would like to spend the next couple days doing two things besides the general family stuff that I have already cemented that I do during my off time. I would like to help the. Okay, I forgot the establishment's name that we burned down. But I'd like to help the sex workers. Yeah, thank you. I'd like to help anybody who worked at the Silver Fox and, you know, wasn't a crook or anything like that find not necessarily work fast or anything like that, because God knows If they even want to work now. Maybe you want to take a couple days. You know, I don't give a shit, but I'd like to just make sure that they all have places to stay, whether it's like at the Croat Hammer or at somewhere else. RO is pretty big. There's tons of places that we can help them. [00:07:27] Speaker B: Oscar. Oscar needs people to work, settle to. To be fair. [00:07:31] Speaker F: Like, don't they basically own a bar now? Could we just stage like a workers revolution? [00:07:40] Speaker D: I don't think another he down. Yeah, it's plus. [00:07:47] Speaker F: Oh, I forgot we used fire [00:07:52] Speaker C: and then we threw a head into the fire as well. [00:07:55] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, there was. I. I think that was a little war crime. Easy. Okay, Same page again? [00:08:03] Speaker B: Yeah. No, you can easily spend time getting people work, especially in. In Salvation Row. There's like Oscar, these people who run the bar and there were maybe 20 people who worked at the Silver Fox. So relatively easy to. Especially between Salvation Row and possibly any connections you might have in the bazaar or Coffin Walk get them jobs. [00:08:33] Speaker C: Did we want to consider giving some or all of the money we got from Johnny to the workers for [00:08:42] Speaker D: do they need it? [00:08:44] Speaker C: I don't know. They might be traumatized and not wanting to work for a few weeks. It's a lot of money that would change their lives. We burned down their place of business. [00:08:55] Speaker E: Gold. [00:08:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:56] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:08:56] Speaker D: I was like, we can give a portion of it. [00:09:00] Speaker E: Yuri's one. I. Yuri gave all the money to Grave Wing and Lorelei. So [00:09:06] Speaker A: honestly was probably underpaying them anyways. I think we should give them more money. [00:09:10] Speaker D: He was absolutely underpaying them. [00:09:12] Speaker B: Okay. [00:09:12] Speaker A: Some of that money, if not most of it should go to them. He was like scamming the out of him. I can tell. [00:09:19] Speaker C: That was a. That was a man who engaged in wage theft. [00:09:22] Speaker A: Yeah. That was a man who embezzled money. And if you said if you don't like it, leave. Now that he's left this earth, we can. [00:09:30] Speaker D: Unless you. Unless you gave those tips in private. He took tips. [00:09:35] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. He took tips for sure. [00:09:37] Speaker D: He was like, tips. [00:09:39] Speaker A: You know that show, the Gordon Ramsay episode with the bakery. That bakery. [00:09:45] Speaker E: So, Yuri, this week, two things. Yuri, in order to like, make it up to Oscar and just people in general will offer to work the bar while they find people and also wants to have a conversation trying to figure out with. Probably with Lou. Probably with Lou, because Lou is more Disguisey compared to. Well, no, Leith is very Disguisey as well. Could I bump into both of them at some point? [00:10:23] Speaker G: No. [00:10:24] Speaker B: Okay. All Right, Lou? [00:10:27] Speaker E: It is. That doesn't need to happen now. If people have more important conversations. [00:10:36] Speaker A: I don't know if this is a conversation we're gonna have right now, but wasn't we. Wasn't we supposed to go to Mr. Possessed? Family member of Graveling? [00:10:48] Speaker D: Yes, that is something that. That we're supposed to do. So we can definitely do it. [00:10:54] Speaker E: Y' all should do that because that's been pushed back for a minute. [00:11:00] Speaker D: Yeah, we can do it. [00:11:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:11:03] Speaker A: That was yellow. No, it wasn't yellow, Jack. Was it yellow jacket. [00:11:06] Speaker B: No, no, no. [00:11:08] Speaker D: Bloodline is who we're bloodline. [00:11:11] Speaker A: I was like, it's either bloodline or ectoplasm. And I don't know which one. My brain was like, why? [00:11:16] Speaker D: No, there's no egg. There is no ectoplasm. [00:11:19] Speaker G: I don't know. [00:11:19] Speaker A: Why am I. I was like, terrible. [00:11:21] Speaker D: I mean, technically, for 24 hours, you do have ectoplasm in you because you're haunted. [00:11:29] Speaker C: Mindlessly rejected Ghostbuster member. More news at 6. [00:11:33] Speaker A: Wait, it hasn't been 24 hours. Is the ghost gonna fucking come with us? [00:11:38] Speaker D: It's on you, literally. [00:11:41] Speaker B: So when you. [00:11:42] Speaker C: If. [00:11:42] Speaker B: If you want to go now, you're unfortunately going to be considered exhausted and you will not have gotten your spells back. [00:11:50] Speaker A: Okay, we might want to. We might want to wait 24 hours and take a nap before. [00:11:53] Speaker D: I was gonna say we could just wait a little bit. [00:11:55] Speaker C: Like, I think. [00:11:55] Speaker A: I think. [00:11:56] Speaker D: Yeah, like we can just say, like we wait a couple. Like a day or two and then we go. [00:12:02] Speaker A: The ghost, after the 24 hours is over, disappearing and looking at Alistair. Carry on my thesis. [00:12:09] Speaker G: Wait, were you two able to seduce any more secrets out of the ghost, though? [00:12:13] Speaker A: Hell no. But we got their whole thesis paper. [00:12:18] Speaker F: What? Why would I seduce a ghost? [00:12:23] Speaker D: Yeah, [00:12:26] Speaker A: who the hell would seduce a ghost? That's insane. [00:12:31] Speaker D: Look, man, all I'm saying is we should let Alastor roll to see if they got any more information from this ghost. [00:12:40] Speaker B: True. [00:12:41] Speaker A: Maybe I'll do her thesis talking. The lore slipped out as a treat. [00:12:47] Speaker B: Or. [00:12:48] Speaker F: Or maybe like some sort. Like a random can trip or something. [00:12:56] Speaker D: Let the rat roll, Aubrey. [00:12:58] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, but would you. Would you like to have tried to have gotten out of the. [00:13:03] Speaker F: I just want. I just want to talk about magic. So I want to see first of all, how good I was talking about magic. And then maybe get access to a spell that I can pay to. Or. Or something like that. Or just whatever you feel. [00:13:22] Speaker B: Roll me an arcana. Yeah. Huh. [00:13:28] Speaker F: That is still a 26. [00:13:32] Speaker B: You will get. You will get that and you'll get a random cantrip. So roll a D50. [00:13:38] Speaker G: Are there really 50 can trips? [00:13:40] Speaker B: There are 50 cantrips for arcane. [00:13:42] Speaker G: That's wild. [00:13:44] Speaker F: That is 39. [00:13:48] Speaker B: Oh, that might be interesting. You gain access. You can add to your spell book the. The cantrip root reading. [00:13:58] Speaker A: Oo. What's that do [00:14:03] Speaker B: you gain general insights into the immediate vicinity by sending your sense through the roots of trees and bushes. If they are unnoticed medium or large creatures in the area, you learn of their presence and their undetected status to you. You can immediately attempt to seek an undetected creature and you gain a plus one status bonus to this attempt and any of your attempts to seek hidden or undetected creatures until the end of your next turn. [00:14:26] Speaker A: It's really good for getting any problems [00:14:30] Speaker C: because the Alistair can tap into the elves now essentially. [00:14:33] Speaker F: I mean I am a master in ellore. This. This canonically like makes sense for like what I. [00:14:45] Speaker B: And you do learn something. A random factoid that during her last couple of weeks at the school she was assisting the headmaster with on a specific magic item. [00:15:04] Speaker G: Let's go Scarlet Queen. Let's go. [00:15:09] Speaker F: Any like specific information on what type of magic item or just like hush hush. Magic item [00:15:18] Speaker G: Body part. [00:15:19] Speaker B: It's actually the crown. [00:15:22] Speaker G: The head is a body part is a crown. [00:15:27] Speaker B: But it's the. The crown that belonged to the Scarlet Queen. It is in the headmaster's office and it itself is a incredibly cursed item. [00:15:39] Speaker F: Oh, that's exciting. I. I don't know whether I want to study it or get rid of it. But I will tell everyone all about that in way too much detail. [00:15:57] Speaker D: I quietly say the power of just a nerdy guy. Insane. This is why I call him the great capital G. Mouse Detective. [00:16:17] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:16:19] Speaker D: But even quieter, I go to something like the great starts with G. Right. [00:16:31] Speaker B: So Yuri Lou have a conversation. You bump into each other. [00:16:38] Speaker E: Would it. It would be funny if it's while Yuri is working at the bar. [00:16:49] Speaker A: All right. [00:16:49] Speaker C: The first thing that came to mind is like the. You come here often. But I can't say that because that's the cousin. [00:17:04] Speaker E: Yuri sees Lou Eater like entering or leaving the bar. It's like oh, Louis, could you come in really quick? Sorry, I'm. I'll get you a drink in a second. [00:17:20] Speaker C: Are you working? [00:17:22] Speaker E: Helping Oscar out? Yes, I'm working here. [00:17:25] Speaker C: Helping. Or are you helping? [00:17:28] Speaker E: I'm helping out because they almost got killed because of me. So yes, I'm helping. [00:17:35] Speaker C: I have almost been killed because of you. Why don't you not helping me out with random things? [00:17:41] Speaker E: I. Do I not. [00:17:48] Speaker C: You're right. [00:17:50] Speaker E: I was about to say. But okay. [00:17:52] Speaker C: No, actually, you know what? It doesn't matter. [00:17:57] Speaker E: Look again. Again. Oscar deserves way better than me, you know, so that's neither here nor there. You know, this is very funny that it gets brought up. I have. I need your help with something. [00:18:19] Speaker C: You sound so hesitant. Wow. [00:18:25] Speaker E: Well, so I know you're very good with disguises and I feel that me going anywhere currently with a big old mark on my head is dangerous. Disguised or not. [00:18:40] Speaker C: This is true. [00:18:42] Speaker E: I got some worrisome news from you. Remember Ertram? [00:18:56] Speaker C: Did I. I never met Ertram. Did I? [00:18:59] Speaker E: I think they probably. You probably would have met them. Or at least know they were. They work at the library, which I imagine is probably Lou's second favorite place. [00:19:10] Speaker C: I. [00:19:10] Speaker E: They said there's some worrisome things happening over at the library and in Silver Court in general. [00:19:18] Speaker C: I [00:19:22] Speaker E: would normally go check it out. However, I feel that there probably is many alarms going off if I enter. Disguised or not. It is overcourt and I would not want to make things worse for once. [00:19:40] Speaker C: So you would like me to go to the library to speak to your ex? [00:19:46] Speaker E: When you put it like that, yes. It. [00:19:52] Speaker C: Okay, [00:19:54] Speaker E: normally I wouldn't. You've. You've seen. Recently, I've been confronting the people I've hurt. So. [00:20:05] Speaker C: So that means that you should write a really hot letter to come along with me. [00:20:13] Speaker E: Yuri reaches into their coat. Yuri reaches into their coat pocket and passes over a letter. Already. [00:20:20] Speaker C: I am so proud of you. Yuri, [00:20:23] Speaker E: just. [00:20:24] Speaker C: Okay, look, it is not a jaded thing. You put your heart into it. [00:20:31] Speaker E: I. Yuri's gonna look around. Is there anyone listening in Aubry. Actually, I need to know this very specifically. Is there anyone listening in Leith? What do you mean? No? Lisa Loud. You said she couldn't be here. [00:20:47] Speaker C: Under the bar. You can't see her. Can I also be hiding behind Lou's big skirts? [00:20:54] Speaker A: Can we all just be under the bar? [00:20:55] Speaker D: This thing everybody does. Does helping people get jobs include me being in the bar right now? Aubrey? [00:21:03] Speaker B: I think it would. [00:21:05] Speaker D: I think it would. Yes. And you don't recognize me because I'm in my civvies. [00:21:11] Speaker C: I need to tell you, Yuri chose a very public spot to have this conversation. You said. [00:21:18] Speaker E: I thought everyone else would be out working. I thought everyone else would be out working. [00:21:22] Speaker C: On yourself. Everybody. [00:21:25] Speaker D: I am working. I am work, lo and behold. [00:21:30] Speaker E: Okay, okay. Regardless. Yuri makes a note to look around, squints a little bit doesn't recognize the person. That's clearly Gravelink. And just look. Hello. I'm aware that I am the person that broke up with Artrum, but that's because I. It's gonna sound terrible no matter how way I put it. And I understand. I hurt them, and I didn't want to hurt them anymore, so I broke it off. [00:22:09] Speaker H: And, [00:22:11] Speaker C: you know, yes, every day I understand better why you, Liz, do not get along. And it is because you are so alike. I say this with the utmost love for both of you. [00:22:25] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah, get it. I just. I don't want to go and cause any problems because I actually. I actually care about them still, so I don't want to hurt them. [00:22:40] Speaker C: No. [00:22:40] Speaker E: Hey, hey, hey. [00:22:42] Speaker C: Fiving lays under the bar where you can't see. [00:22:45] Speaker E: Were you high fiving? [00:22:47] Speaker C: Nothing. Don't worry about it. I'm proud of you. I'm very proud of you, cousin. It takes a lot to admit your feelings, even if it is only to your cousin and not actually to the person directly. Unless. Hold up the letter. They are in here. [00:23:06] Speaker E: Please. I just want to make sure they're okay. [00:23:09] Speaker C: I will do so. And they will convey your heartfelt feelings in the letter. [00:23:19] Speaker E: Yuri's eyebrow is twitching so hard right now. Look, I just. Please. In case we need to get involved, I did already let Grave Wing know that I may be causing problems. That's all she needs to know. By the way. She doesn't need to know the whole everything else part. [00:23:42] Speaker D: I shouldn't have said that at a bar. I go, I pick up my water that was, like, waiting for me. I was the person. You were like, I'll get you that drink in a second. At some point, I just walked by and got it and was like, thanks. [00:23:58] Speaker C: You had this conversation in a public bar? [00:24:03] Speaker E: I had no choice. I'm working. [00:24:07] Speaker C: You could have asked to have it another time when you weren't working. You could have taken a break. I think you wanted everyone to know. [00:24:14] Speaker E: I don't know. I think this is a great way of reaching out. Where's Le, by the way? [00:24:19] Speaker C: I know it's hard for you to talk about how you feel about people, but this is such a good way to do it, where you're like, oh, I don't want everyone to know I'm in love with Earthroom. So I will just tell them where they can hear. I understand. You're good. I'm gonna go deliver a letter. Bye. [00:24:42] Speaker E: He's just shaking their head. And because it's just funny, turns around and Oscar's probably there still. [00:24:50] Speaker B: It's his bar. [00:24:52] Speaker E: I know. And here he's just. I was working, I promise. [00:25:01] Speaker B: He nods and just says it's fine. It's the slow time anyways, so. [00:25:11] Speaker E: Yeah, just one person got the water so far. And I'll just start cleaning these glasses and be all the way over here. [00:25:22] Speaker B: Oscar goes back to taking inventory of their remaining stock. [00:25:28] Speaker C: Does Laithe want to come deliver a letter? [00:25:31] Speaker G: Sure. Laithe crawling on the floor of the bar to stay hidden beneath Lee's skirt. [00:25:45] Speaker D: This is the strangest thing form of PDA I've ever seen. [00:25:55] Speaker B: They're going anyway. [00:25:56] Speaker C: We don't deliver it now. We can. We can deliver it later. I don't know where we are in the timeline. [00:26:01] Speaker B: We'll say it's. This has been like. It's been a day since you've dealt with Johnny. [00:26:09] Speaker D: I just want to start on day three. So this is not happening on day three. I'm going to take Lorelei on a date. So I'm preparing that. I'm gonna let people know to not be at the clock tower on this specific day. And if they ask why, I will say nothing. Besides, do you value your, like, ability to walk or something like that? You know, just. Just like. I'll keep it nice and ominous, you know, because I said so. Cleaning time. I don't know. Maybe I want to shift there. Like, I just. I just keep it nice and ominous is exactly. [00:26:53] Speaker C: Is what I'm doing. [00:26:53] Speaker D: Yeah. Just don't be there. [00:26:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Who else would like to do something before we roll it into the following day? [00:27:08] Speaker A: Take a nap. [00:27:11] Speaker B: Okay. [00:27:12] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:27:14] Speaker C: Deliver the letter. Or we can do that later. At any point. There's no time frame on it. Just at some point over the next three days, Lou is going to work on making more of the body warmers that she made for Grave Wing. And she's gonna make more of them. [00:27:36] Speaker B: Okay. You can deliver a letter whenever you want. It's just going across the bridge. [00:27:43] Speaker C: Yeah. Is Laythe actually coming? Yeah, no. [00:27:46] Speaker G: Le will come. [00:27:47] Speaker C: Okay. We're in disguises. Just in case. [00:27:54] Speaker B: Go to library. If you're crossing the bridge, deduct that silver piece or the two silver piece. And honestly, it does not take you that long to find a library in the silver in Silver Court. You've been there many, many times. Yeah. [00:28:17] Speaker C: If we don't see Utrom right away, we'll. Or. Sorry, is it Utrom or Utram? [00:28:23] Speaker B: I think it's Ertron. [00:28:27] Speaker C: Have enough R's in this game. Okay, then we'll Ask. Ask for Ertrum. [00:28:34] Speaker B: Yeah. You are told by the person manning the library that Ertram hasn't been to work in a few days. [00:28:42] Speaker C: This is. If I ask really nicely, will they tell me where Utrom lives or Ertram lives? Or is that like a. A library? No, no. [00:28:55] Speaker B: It depends on how much rapport do you think Lou has gotten with the librarians over the years? [00:29:01] Speaker C: Lou is a great patron. She has never had a late fee in her life. And she returns things in a timely manner and doesn't keep them forever. And she checks out books constantly. So maybe she could possibly be their favorite or their least favorite. It's really a matter of how annoying. They find a very prominent library patron. [00:29:28] Speaker B: Yeah. Give me a diplomacy round. [00:29:34] Speaker A: You know what? [00:29:35] Speaker C: This matters to me. So I'm gonna use a cure point. And also because it was a net one, but now it's not. Now it is a diplomacy. So that's like a 27. [00:29:53] Speaker B: Yeah, 27. You are told that Bertram is not in. Has been sick for the past few days and that they are. It's. It's not even something you would. You would learn from them. It's something you would probably remember as Urchin is from the. Is in the family of the. The Devlins, who are also another prominent noble family for Twilight Grove. The Devlins are the senator for the Amalia Devlin, Bertram's aunt, is the senator for Twilight Grand. [00:30:42] Speaker C: Is it. I mean, do they all live in the same house or do they got multiple houses? [00:30:51] Speaker B: You would assume that Ertram lives in Twilight Grove somewhere. Probably not with that part of the family. But they probably have a house in Twilight Grove. [00:31:06] Speaker C: Then can I use as the city to try to find where Bertram lives? Yeah. [00:31:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:12] Speaker B: Give me the rule for that. [00:31:22] Speaker C: It's gonna be. It's better society society. Not by a lot. Okay, so that's gonna be 28. [00:31:33] Speaker B: 28. [00:31:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:31:35] Speaker B: You are eventually able to find Ertram's home. It's one of the smaller sort of townhouses in Twilight Grove that are for this people who don't want to live in the like the massive homes. And also quite often lamplighters and people who work in the temples live in these townhomes. [00:32:01] Speaker C: Do you think that we should just knock or do I think that is [00:32:07] Speaker G: at the library? Did the librarians seem particularly worried or were they. They were just like, yeah, they're sick and it's fine. [00:32:17] Speaker B: Give me a perception check. [00:32:21] Speaker G: 31. [00:32:22] Speaker B: 31. They were concerned, but not in the. Something bad has happened to them. It's oh, they're sick. I hope they feel better. [00:32:31] Speaker G: Okay, perfect. Yeah. Then I think that Leith will suggest that they, like, grab some soup from a stall on the way and pretend to be well wishers, which in a way they are. [00:32:47] Speaker C: We can wish them well. Yeah, [00:32:54] Speaker G: I don't see any reason not to. Just try knocking then. [00:32:59] Speaker C: Let's knock. We knock, [00:33:08] Speaker B: You knock, and there is no answer. [00:33:13] Speaker C: Is there a doorbell? [00:33:16] Speaker B: There's like a door knocker. And Lou is accosted by a cat, apparently. [00:33:23] Speaker C: Come here. [00:33:24] Speaker G: Does it sound like anyone is moving around inside or it's just hard to tell. Or quiet. [00:33:30] Speaker B: Give me another perception check to, like, listen at the door and hear anything. [00:33:35] Speaker G: That's a NAT one. [00:33:37] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:33:38] Speaker B: Yeah, unfortunately, you're kind of. It's. When you're doing. This is kind of the busy time, but it. Because it makes it easy to move around and not be noticed. But at this time, sort of everyone is heading back home, so there's a lot of commotion in the streets and you just. You can't get anything. It's too noisy out here for you to even tell if there's anything happening in there. [00:34:05] Speaker C: Fair enough. Two soon to do some casual oops. I looked in your window and, oh, no, it was open and I just came in because I fell. [00:34:21] Speaker G: I mean, we're here on behalf of Yordo, and that's certainly what they would do. [00:34:29] Speaker C: Yordo would break through a do. I think we can be a lot more subtle and, you know, if. If Earth Rom is okay and is like, why are you breaking into my house? We can just be like, sorry, we were worried about your life. Yuri thinks it's in danger. Then. Yeah. Do we want to. Do we want to break in or do we want to try knocking a few more times? Maybe try knocking anyway. And. And I can knock while you break in, and then I can join you if they don't show up. [00:35:08] Speaker G: Yeah, you can knock and I will look in the window, and then if I don't see anything in the window, I'll break in. [00:35:13] Speaker C: Perfect. [00:35:16] Speaker B: Yeah. You knock late, you don't see anything in the window. [00:35:22] Speaker G: I will try to pick the lock on the door or if there's a lock on the window that could be picked up, but I don't know if that's the thing. [00:35:32] Speaker B: The door is probably the easier one. The window would be very obvious. [00:35:39] Speaker C: Side note, is it possible to. Is. Is the front door the only option or is there, like, a less on the street kind of door that we could try to pick? [00:35:49] Speaker B: There would be a back Door. [00:35:52] Speaker C: Can we pick the back door instead of the front door just so there's less witnesses? [00:35:56] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. If you want to. Want to both give me a stealth roll. Or you know, if you both want to go in, you'll both need to make a stealth roll. But if only one of you wants to go in, one of you has [00:36:07] Speaker H: to make a stealth roll. [00:36:09] Speaker D: Oh great. [00:36:10] Speaker G: 34. [00:36:13] Speaker D: Well, one of us. [00:36:14] Speaker C: One of us should have not gone stealthing. 18. [00:36:20] Speaker H: 18. [00:36:22] Speaker B: Okay, so you eventually make your way back around to the. The back door and Leith, why don't you give me that thievery check? [00:36:34] Speaker G: 33. [00:36:37] Speaker B: 33. Yeah, it doesn't take you that long at all to. To pop the lock. It's. They're. They're good locks, but they're not incredibly complex locks. And you know, you're able to pop that lock and sort of walk in sort of where the. [00:36:55] Speaker C: Like the. [00:36:56] Speaker B: Into sort of like the kitchen area and the house is quiet. [00:37:05] Speaker C: I was going to just shout their name, but now I am wondering if. If we should not do that in case there is a non ork from person present. [00:37:17] Speaker G: I think that discretion might be the right choice here. And Laith has, I think, readied the Adrisi sword. [00:37:28] Speaker C: Oh, get out the cards. [00:37:32] Speaker G: We're gonna terrify this poor person in their own home. That's fine. [00:37:37] Speaker C: Maybe your sword is a little threatening, but I could just be here to reap tarot for them. You know, [00:37:44] Speaker B: as you are looking around, there's a forgotten cup of tea on the counter and for the most part, everything else seems to be in its place. Do you continue moving through the house? The tea is long gone cold. [00:38:07] Speaker G: I would like to activate the ring of observation, please, as we are in here to see if we are being watched. [00:38:15] Speaker C: I have my little magic sensing pendulum a going. [00:38:22] Speaker B: So then, yeah, it you are not being currently observed. [00:38:29] Speaker C: Is there any magic presence? [00:38:32] Speaker B: There is some basic magic on certain things, but nothing that is out of the ordinary. There is like some magic on some of the plants to like keep them healthy. But [00:38:46] Speaker C: then, yeah, I think we go. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:38:49] Speaker B: I was gonna say. [00:38:49] Speaker G: I think we should keep looking around. I think probably the bedroom, if that's easy to find, would be the next stop. [00:38:58] Speaker B: Yeah, you can. The bedroom is upstairs and you can make your way upstairs and check it out. And it is also empty. The bed has been made. Everything is in its place. [00:39:13] Speaker C: I suppose it is possible that they stepped out for some medicines or something and that they needed and no one could go get for them. [00:39:29] Speaker G: Well, and there's no issue with running into them at the store. So we could always send a moth and follow it to them. [00:39:39] Speaker C: That is true. It is very true. Do you have one? I'm not allowed to have some anymore. Yuri says I keep eating them. [00:39:51] Speaker G: Yuri, did you distribute those amidst people or do you have all of them? [00:39:57] Speaker E: I assume those are being well distributed amongst people because y' all had them when Yuri was like locked up. So [00:40:07] Speaker G: great. Then Leif will pull out a little golden moth and. [00:40:13] Speaker C: Oh, no, never mind. It's fine. We have the moth. That's all that matters. I forgot I have little animal friends now that send messages. This is new. I forgot about it. Carry on. [00:40:25] Speaker B: We have a moth. [00:40:25] Speaker C: That's all that matters. [00:40:27] Speaker G: Leaf will pull out the little golden moth and say, no, I just checking up on you. Heard you were sick. Wanted to bring you some soup. And then give Bertram's full name and follow where the moth goes. [00:40:50] Speaker C: While is sending the moth and like actually saying the message. Lou's just going to real quick check all the other rooms to make sure that they're not like lying unconscious or dead somewhere. We've had a lot of that recently, so just cross it off the list. [00:41:12] Speaker G: Okay. Leith actually ties a little like string a thread between the moth and her finger, so it's easy to follow. [00:41:20] Speaker B: Yeah, you do. And so Louis [00:41:29] Speaker H: just. [00:41:31] Speaker B: Did you ever visit the Moran estate? [00:41:34] Speaker C: Probably not like during campaign, except for when it was burned down, but I [00:41:39] Speaker B: feel like previously than that beforehand. Yeah, yeah. As you are passing back through, because I imagine you're going out the back door as well. Catch a set. It's sickly sweet, almost saccharine. And suddenly you're reminded of one of the many times you were at the Moran estate. The same kind of smell that quite often came off of Yuri's father. [00:42:26] Speaker C: So I have imprecise scent senses like the actual mechanic. Am I able to narrow it down or learn anything else from it? [00:42:46] Speaker B: Yeah, It's coming from the tea. [00:42:54] Speaker C: Oh, no. Yeah. Lou is gonna stop in her tracks and give that tea a whiff. And then say, I think Dory was right and something is very wrong. I know this smell and it used to be innocuous, but I know now that it is not [00:43:28] Speaker G: Laith mid like moth message. Did you want to follow still or shall we grab Yorda first? [00:43:41] Speaker C: We should follow it. I think I know where it is going to go. And we should just confirm that it is doing that before we risk bringing Yorido to. I suspect the silver cord. [00:44:00] Speaker G: Laith sort of reaches out and squeezes Lou's hand real quick and then finishes with the moth message. [00:44:11] Speaker B: So you follow the moth as to where it's leading, and it is actually not headed to Silver Court. You find yourself in the coin district, and it eventually becomes very clear as to where this is headed. It's headed for cold iron. [00:44:43] Speaker C: Well, on the far side we know how to get on the cold iron. Obvious downside. Slow. [00:44:56] Speaker G: Fair enough. Although graveling has claimed that tower for the night. But [00:45:06] Speaker C: I suppose you should let the moss finish. [00:45:11] Speaker G: Is there a way to recall it? Or it just goes. [00:45:16] Speaker B: You did tie it to your thing. And I mean, like, if it can't deliver a message, it will return. But I imagine if you just cup it for long enough and stop it from delivering the message, it will eventually reset. [00:45:31] Speaker G: Okay, that is what I will do. Because there is no reason for them to know that we have that technology. [00:45:39] Speaker C: Do we want to. Still try to let or know that we are aware that they are here? [00:45:55] Speaker G: My concern would be that it would put them in more danger if a guard saw them getting outside messages. But if you think it's worth it. [00:46:06] Speaker C: I think there are ways to do it where it is subtle. As long as I can get within 500ft, I think then I can send them a message and then to just. Just for them. So I will attempt to send Urtram a message, I guess. Hi. Goodness. [00:46:31] Speaker B: What is the distance? [00:46:36] Speaker C: Normally it's 120ft, but it says it heightened to 500ft. I don't know if my spell is heightened or not, frankly, but it says heightened on it. So according to foundry is 500ft. [00:46:49] Speaker B: Yeah, according. They're only going to let you get so close to cold iron. [00:46:55] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. [00:46:58] Speaker B: So call Highs are Lowe's. [00:47:02] Speaker C: Lowe's. I. I know my luck. I know you're rolling. But [00:47:08] Speaker B: you try for 10 minutes just sipping the. The message. And unfortunately it's just. It's. You can't find where they are. [00:47:20] Speaker C: Okay. I don't think I'm gonna do an animal messenger right now because you have to, like, put an actual physical message on it, which is adorable, but doesn't seem like a great idea sending into prison. I suppose we should tell Yori across the bridge. [00:47:50] Speaker B: Two more silver. [00:47:56] Speaker A: This guy's getting a rich off of our silver for what he's gonna call and be like, oh, my God, I got five pieces of silver. We're eating like luxury tonight. [00:48:06] Speaker C: You know, that's going straight to the high priest. [00:48:13] Speaker B: Yeah, I imagine you find Yuri is there just getting off of Work. [00:48:20] Speaker C: So funny to think of Yuri having a job. I don't know why. The first wasn't like a job you got off of, though. It was like a. You went on a hunting trip. [00:48:34] Speaker E: Yeah, when we got got, that was a job. But yes, Yuri would be, I don't know, like, closing the bar. Maybe just, like, chatting with Oscar at this point, because they were also told not to go to the tower or wherever, so. [00:48:59] Speaker C: So I have some bad news for you. [00:49:05] Speaker E: Is it in regards to Late who's with you, or is it bad news? [00:49:09] Speaker C: No, why would there be bad news Late? [00:49:12] Speaker E: I don't know. [00:49:13] Speaker C: She just came with me to deliver the message for you. [00:49:16] Speaker E: Oh, great. [00:49:17] Speaker B: Lovely. [00:49:18] Speaker C: There's only good news with Late. What are you talking about, bad news? No, Earthram is in prison. [00:49:25] Speaker E: Yuri was, like, about to make a Snyder mark and, like, jokes on their words and. Yeah, what? [00:49:36] Speaker C: And I think it was like a really stealthy arrest because their co workers think that they are homesick. Oh, and also their tea was spiked with the thing. The. The Whatever it was that was given to Uncle Felipe. [00:49:55] Speaker E: The poisonous tea. Well, at least we know how to break out of cold iron, I guess. [00:50:08] Speaker C: Right? But we can't do that tonight because Groin has reserved the clock tower for. I assume sometimes. You think that the Caribbean, like, sets up dummies to, like, punch, and that is, like, fun for her. [00:50:30] Speaker E: I think that's just training Blue. [00:50:34] Speaker C: Right. But she really likes what she does, so is that. Is that how she unwinds, or is it, like, because it's cold? Is she just taking a really big nap? [00:50:45] Speaker E: I think I saw her walking with Lorelai, so, [00:50:51] Speaker C: yeah, a big nap. [00:50:58] Speaker E: Okay, well, that's terrible news. Thank you. I appreciate you, both of you. I guess going to attempt to deliver that message. [00:51:16] Speaker C: We did not actually get to deliver it. I'm unfortunate too. [00:51:21] Speaker E: I assume if they were in prison, is any of their family, were they all home or not? You, because you went to their house, I assume, and [00:51:39] Speaker C: alone. [00:51:42] Speaker E: No, they. I don't think so. I don't know. Maybe it's been a year and change. [00:51:51] Speaker C: It looked like they lived alone. [00:51:55] Speaker E: Hey, they were poisoning them. Well, Yuri is, like, awkwardly shifting in a way that, like, is awkward, but also just trying to calm themselves down and just. I will not. [00:52:30] Speaker H: Thank you. [00:52:33] Speaker E: Okay. No, I will not go tonight, as much as I want to, because last time that was a terrible idea. [00:52:43] Speaker C: And, you know, even though we know how to get in and out, that does not make a person break easy. And we don't know what condition or in [00:52:56] Speaker E: true. Yeah. Well, who wants a drink then? As Yuri gets stuff in the bar. [00:53:09] Speaker B: Yeah, you two go to De Stress, drown your sorrows, whatever at the bar, and shift over to Graveling. And Nile, as you go to check on Bloodline. [00:53:27] Speaker D: We paid the toll. I'm so bitter about it. [00:53:32] Speaker A: Every day I wake up, I pay the toll, and then I go to bed, and for what? [00:53:38] Speaker D: Hate. Hate this toll, man. [00:53:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Eventually, you come to the what is becoming a very familiar house to you. Graveling in Emerald Reach. [00:53:58] Speaker D: So couple things. He is locked up in the basement. If anybody asks, we are the help. Sound good? [00:54:13] Speaker A: Sounds good. All right, [00:54:19] Speaker D: I'm going to, like, lead you in. And I think we pass by the case that has my suit. I point at it, I look to Nile, and I go. And as you can see, he's a rage baiter. [00:54:41] Speaker A: I see. [00:54:46] Speaker D: I don't even know what I'm gonna do with that thing. [00:54:50] Speaker A: Do you even want it? [00:54:53] Speaker D: I don't. I don't know. I. I like certain parts of it, but also, Laurel, I spent a lot of money on this one. And this one looks nicer and feels nicer than that one. But, like, that one has some cool. I could, like, glide with that one, like, in the air. [00:55:20] Speaker A: Well, if there's a recipe that I like certain parts of and they're similar recipes, I sometimes splice them together to get the pieces that I want so it turns out better than the originals. [00:55:31] Speaker C: Would it. [00:55:34] Speaker D: Would it offend you if that happened? Like, if I had your recipe and. And I was like, I like it, but I want to tweak it a bit. [00:55:43] Speaker A: Everyone has different taste buds. Why would it, if anything, if I made a recipe for you and you didn't like parts of it, it would be a failure on me as a chef to not make it something that you like. [00:55:59] Speaker D: Full of good points today, Niall. [00:56:01] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:56:06] Speaker D: And now we go to the basement. [00:56:10] Speaker A: Ever. [00:56:12] Speaker C: Oh, my God. [00:56:13] Speaker A: Just two friends show in the basement. [00:56:17] Speaker D: I hope nobody falls in the basement and finds the body that's there. There it is. My brother. [00:56:26] Speaker A: A body. My brother. [00:56:28] Speaker D: My brother being held in prison. Like a water bender in Avatar. [00:56:35] Speaker A: Also, before we head to the basement, I'm just going to internally tell Schism. Listen, if this guy says anything that makes you uncomfortable, let me know when we can leave. [00:56:43] Speaker B: You can get an affirmative from Schism. [00:56:45] Speaker D: Mm. [00:56:46] Speaker A: So consent's important here, everyone. All right, let's go into the suspicious basement alone with someone who could definitely kill me with her bare hands. [00:56:57] Speaker B: Yeah, you see him? He is kind of just still got that blanket wrapped around himself, but, you know, [00:57:08] Speaker D: how does he look? Because it's been a few days since I've last been here and he's const. Constantly getting essentially the Judith. The Judith smackdown. [00:57:22] Speaker B: So, yeah, tired. There's like, bags under his eyes and looks like he hasn't slept well in a while. [00:57:34] Speaker A: I can relate. Don't worry. [00:57:42] Speaker D: Kind of. I wouldn't say I'm banging my hand against the bar or anything like that. Maybe I, like, flick it or something like that, or I knock on it so it's like there's noise, though. I'm pretty sure he might have already noticed that we were here. But just in case, I do it anyways and kind of go, so how are you feeling today? [00:58:17] Speaker B: There's the moment he looks up at you. His eyes are blurry and unfocused and. Was there a nickname he used to call you? [00:58:35] Speaker G: Probably [00:58:39] Speaker D: would call me by my name and then add the word chi or Che, like, after it. I think the most normal, like, the most common one that that widow also would call me is Sachi Che. [00:58:59] Speaker B: Yeah. You hear him say Sachi Che. Wondered when you'd come by. [00:59:07] Speaker D: Okay. Now I vibe check the fuck out of that [00:59:14] Speaker C: dick. [00:59:14] Speaker B: Give me a perception check. [00:59:16] Speaker D: I want to know if it's. If it's him or if it's the thing, like doing something, because I don't trust it, but I also don't trust myself. 29. [00:59:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:59:36] Speaker B: You're relatively sure that's him? [00:59:39] Speaker D: Big old sigh of relief. Okay, that's probably the straightest answer I've gotten out of you in a couple weeks. [00:59:57] Speaker H: Yeah, [01:00:00] Speaker B: sad. Been a bit. [01:00:08] Speaker C: Look, I. [01:00:11] Speaker D: I brought a friend who I think knows what you're going through or at least can relate. I'm looking at Niall as I say all of this. [01:00:32] Speaker A: I wave politely. [01:00:37] Speaker B: You get a head nod. Can't really move his arms very well. [01:00:45] Speaker D: When did you get that thing in you? [01:00:51] Speaker B: Just thinking. And it. It seems like it's actually, like, hard for him to remember this. And it's just maybe six months ago, I'm realizing I have a lot of holes in my memory. [01:01:15] Speaker A: I don't know. That's scary. [01:01:22] Speaker D: Okay, has that. Has that ever happened to you, Niall? [01:01:28] Speaker A: Oh, I don't think I have holes in my memory. Right. My memory is pretty poggers. [01:01:32] Speaker B: You're pretty sure? [01:01:34] Speaker A: I mean, to my knowledge, I don't have any memory issues. [01:01:38] Speaker B: Because you. Would you even remember if you had any memory issues? [01:01:42] Speaker A: Can I try to remember if I have memory issues? Is that a thing I can do. [01:01:48] Speaker B: Would you like to give me a Will save? [01:01:50] Speaker A: All right, let's see if I can remember my memory issues, hypothetically. Joke's on you. It's tick that has memory issues. Wait, I'm not fatigued anymore. I can remove that hippie now. My well save is not as bad. That's a 21. And I don't want to use a hero point because it's funnier if I don't. [01:02:14] Speaker C: No. [01:02:14] Speaker B: You're pretty sure you don't have any memory issues? [01:02:17] Speaker A: I'm pretty confident I don't have any memory issues. [01:02:23] Speaker B: Okay. [01:02:24] Speaker D: Wait, how long have you had? [01:02:28] Speaker B: About. [01:02:29] Speaker A: About three years. Ish. [01:02:32] Speaker B: You're pretty sure? [01:02:35] Speaker A: I don't like that you said that, but yeah. [01:02:39] Speaker D: Okay, well, your three years looks great compared to. To six months, so I guess. Well, I mean, your relationship's different, so. [01:02:53] Speaker A: I also do have many holes in my body that weren't there before. [01:02:58] Speaker D: Yeah. And I looked at my brother this time. And you don't remember anything at all on how you got him? [01:03:12] Speaker B: I remember dreams. A figure promising me everything I wanted. And I was very angry at the time. [01:03:32] Speaker D: Okay, well, [01:03:38] Speaker A: do you know if it's still inside of you that. [01:03:42] Speaker B: Pretty sure it is. I don't think it's all gone yet. There are times where I'm more lucid than others. This is a. [01:03:53] Speaker H: A good day. [01:03:56] Speaker D: I'm going to look to Nile and like schizo. I don't think. Is Schism popped out yet or is just. Is it just you? Actually, [01:04:06] Speaker A: Aubrey looks at you suspiciously. [01:04:07] Speaker B: Did you want him to? That's the question. [01:04:10] Speaker A: He can come out when he wants as gay. I mean, just come out in general if he wants. There's plenty of holes for him to pop out of. It's his choice. [01:04:23] Speaker B: Okay, but do you want him to. Do you want him to be involved in this? [01:04:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [01:04:27] Speaker A: I'm okay if he wants to be. I'll just open my hand. So if the opportunity is there for him to pop his little head out when he wants. [01:04:33] Speaker B: All right, then yeah, he will. [01:04:36] Speaker D: Because this is going to be a weird question. Maybe. I don't know, phrasing. Can you. Can you sense your kind? [01:04:50] Speaker B: There's a. There's a moment where it just goes [01:04:54] Speaker H: kinda. [01:04:57] Speaker B: Not in any. Not like magically or anything, but, you know, we're. Many of us are [01:05:08] Speaker H: a hive mind. [01:05:10] Speaker D: Yeah, you mentioned that. [01:05:13] Speaker H: And I can kind of like feel when others want to connect with me. [01:05:20] Speaker D: I'm assuming he doesn't want to connect with you, then. [01:05:26] Speaker H: I'm the one that's keeping myself blocked off. [01:05:29] Speaker D: Oh. [01:05:33] Speaker H: Cuz if I connect back to the hive mind there's a good chance I will not be able to disconnect. [01:05:39] Speaker D: No, that's better then I'm going to be real honest. I was hoping the would be here today. That's the main reason why I brought you guys. Because he is an but also probably dying. I'm. I'm not sure what else to really do besides it looks like. Whatever. [01:06:13] Speaker A: This may be a bad idea, but can we provoke him? I mean if we want to share words. Having him poke out in anger might be the only way to talk to him. [01:06:29] Speaker D: Kind of go look at my brother. Are you okay with that? [01:06:42] Speaker B: I guess it depends on if he does. I don't think I'm gaining control back today. [01:06:52] Speaker A: It's up to you. [01:06:53] Speaker B: Not strong enough for that right now. [01:07:02] Speaker D: If. How badly if. If we provoke him. A scale 1 to 10. How do you. I'm trying to find words on scale 1 to 10. If he were provoked, how likely of a chance do you think he'd just try to attack us? I'm not. I don't know about you now, but I've never seen two schisms together at the same time so Let alone [01:07:39] Speaker E: a [01:07:40] Speaker D: defector and a knot. So [01:07:45] Speaker B: let's get some Pops pipes up and says well this one's a. They're a little different than me because they don't alter the body's physical anatomy in the way that I do but same kind of idea of parasite and host. [01:08:03] Speaker D: Well okay. If they don't alter the body like. Like you would do, they do. I didn't get a chance to see a kind of beat em up. [01:08:16] Speaker B: It's that control part. [01:08:19] Speaker A: Oh, I do know this one actually you told me. It. It's the fact that. Because usually the tyrant feeds things part of the hive mind their energy because schism is not a part of it to feed him with my body and my body's been altered to be able to take in more food. Right babe? [01:08:39] Speaker H: Yeah, yeah [01:08:43] Speaker C: yeah. [01:08:45] Speaker D: I give my brother the side eye when they go babe. I just. Cuz I want to see if he's lucid enough to do anything. [01:08:53] Speaker B: There's like a moment where he's like squints and it's just like he's pretty sure he's hallucinating. [01:09:01] Speaker A: He's like there's no fucking way into my ass. [01:09:05] Speaker D: We come back next week and he's like there is a way. [01:09:09] Speaker A: I'll be. [01:09:10] Speaker D: Times of changing, I'll be Damned. [01:09:15] Speaker A: I'll be damned. This is revolutionary. [01:09:20] Speaker D: Gonna be real here, Niall. I don't know if I. Can I provoke him? Yes, absolutely. I don't know if I want to, though, [01:09:40] Speaker A: Out of concern for your brother. [01:09:42] Speaker D: Yeah, [01:09:49] Speaker A: Well, if you don't want to do that. Sacrifice. I understand. It makes sense. But we've gotten good information from him already, and it looks like he's going to be fine. [01:10:01] Speaker D: Yeah, with enough divine blasting, which I guess. I guess we do actually have a way to get rid of this thing, if it's working. It is working. I think it's working. [01:10:18] Speaker B: It's working. Slowly. [01:10:29] Speaker C: Has this. [01:10:31] Speaker A: This creature doesn't have a name, right? [01:10:35] Speaker B: Not that it's told me. [01:10:37] Speaker A: What has it told you? [01:10:40] Speaker B: It hasn't really told me much or anything, really. It just. Whenever it's there, I'm a worse person. It amplifies my worst impulses, my worst desires. [01:11:02] Speaker A: Me, when I play League of Legends, anyway. [01:11:04] Speaker C: Shut up. [01:11:06] Speaker D: You fucking. You bitch. [01:11:10] Speaker A: I suppose that does make sense for that type of parasite. [01:11:13] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:11:13] Speaker D: Okay, so lack of impulse control, but, like times 10. Have you ever used it like you. You were trying to during our fight? Kind of. I kicked your ass before you could, but it bubbled up around you like you could. Not like what. Not like what you do with water, but close enough. [01:11:49] Speaker B: I think it kind of altered the kineticist gate a little bit. [01:11:58] Speaker D: Okay. [01:12:02] Speaker B: I think it lets me. Lets me tap into a different gate, the. A gate connected to the dimension they come from. [01:12:15] Speaker A: Oh, that's bad. [01:12:17] Speaker D: Okay. I keep asking you this question because it's coming up so often by. Any idea how that feels? [01:12:33] Speaker B: I hate to say that. [01:12:34] Speaker H: It feels good. [01:12:38] Speaker B: You feel strong. You feel powerful. [01:12:44] Speaker D: Do you remember ever using it? Like the things. [01:12:48] Speaker B: A few times, I think. [01:12:49] Speaker D: The things you could do with it. Was it similar to bending water? I know you can. You can do ice sometimes. [01:13:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, it was that connected to. It was very similar to bending water and. But the energy itself is corrupting and overpowering. I think that's how it got in [01:13:28] Speaker A: that dream. I did have something like that recently, but not with an offer I couldn't turn down. But that was way after schism. [01:13:41] Speaker D: I think we as a group were talking about that a little bit. A dream, it showing up. [01:13:53] Speaker A: Do you. Do you think it could have affected any of us? [01:14:02] Speaker B: Maybe [01:14:05] Speaker D: it's. Well, based on. Based on. My siblings was all in their eyes. His was totally black, which is not normal. And my sisters had like, veins, black veins surrounding it. She looks normal now, but that's after a week of the Divine Beatdown. I don't know what it looks like after one round. [01:14:45] Speaker A: I guess keeping our eyes open would be the best option. Excuse. [01:14:48] Speaker B: I'm. [01:14:48] Speaker C: Do I. [01:14:49] Speaker A: Am I. I don't think there's, like, two worms inside of me. Right? It's just you, [01:14:56] Speaker H: as far as I'm aware. [01:14:59] Speaker A: Okay, good. Worst case is 2 versus 1. [01:15:03] Speaker D: This is the gayest suggestion, because the whole time I was thinking, are we just gonna line up everybody and stare deeply into their eyes? [01:15:12] Speaker A: I'll stare deeply into your eyes. Romantically. Look at me. [01:15:19] Speaker C: Hello. [01:15:20] Speaker A: I am curious. What caused you to defect? Schism. What allowed you that opportunity? Do you think others would take it? [01:15:31] Speaker H: I mean, it was the first host I connected to when I came to this plane. [01:15:41] Speaker D: Oh, [01:15:44] Speaker H: they were the Lamplighter. That's the charm, yes. Lamplighter. [01:15:51] Speaker A: And so that helped you disconnect from the Tyrant? [01:15:55] Speaker H: They were very holy. I think their. Whatever they were able to do helped me disconnect. Yes. And then once they had removed me, they kept me sealed up for a very long time. [01:16:16] Speaker D: Sorry, how long were you here again? [01:16:20] Speaker B: I've been here like this. Slime thinks, tilts its head a little bit and goes, 30 of your years. [01:16:31] Speaker A: Wait, how old are you in total? [01:16:35] Speaker B: I am unsure. We didn't really keep track of that thing. [01:16:40] Speaker D: At least 30. [01:16:40] Speaker A: Damn. We're calling Victoria the guilt here. [01:16:44] Speaker D: Well, he's at least 30, Nile. [01:16:49] Speaker A: But that was out of character. That was out of character. I'm. I take him calling Schism a guilt here. [01:16:55] Speaker D: Schism. Do you remember their name? [01:17:01] Speaker H: I. I don't. I wasn't connected to them for very long. [01:17:09] Speaker B: A few hours. [01:17:12] Speaker H: And then they prayed to their goddess. Yes, Star Mother. She did something, I think, in separating me from him. She separated me from the hive mind. And I. I wasn't nearly as eloquent as I am now. I was very primitive at first. My slime brain had to develop. [01:17:47] Speaker D: All right, so you're absolutely at least 30. [01:17:53] Speaker H: We'll go with that. [01:17:57] Speaker A: Well, if it means anything, you have a very lovely slime brain now. [01:18:03] Speaker H: Yeah. [01:18:03] Speaker A: Okay. [01:18:04] Speaker H: He kept me in a jar for many years and studied me. [01:18:14] Speaker D: Okay, wait a minute. He. Any defining features at all that you can remember [01:18:24] Speaker H: things? It was a dwarf had dark hair. I don't remember his name, King, but yes, Dwarf, dark hair. Wore the colors of the Star Mother. [01:18:44] Speaker D: Okay, okay, that. [01:18:48] Speaker A: Wait, how long do doors live again? [01:18:50] Speaker D: A lot. [01:18:51] Speaker B: Hundreds of years. [01:18:53] Speaker A: Don't we know a door from the forest? It's a Druid. That's how my brain immediately went [01:19:02] Speaker D: yes, but like that's, I don't want to generalize, bro. [01:19:10] Speaker A: I know, but he's also very powerful and very connected with the world. [01:19:14] Speaker D: The world. [01:19:16] Speaker A: It has dark hair and pronouns. [01:19:20] Speaker D: Okay, okay, look, what we got. What we got we can look into. [01:19:29] Speaker H: If, if it helps. I came through the portal and magma Mon to where [01:19:42] Speaker D: was was your. [01:19:44] Speaker H: The portal? [01:19:45] Speaker D: Was it like you came in through the portal? Yes, but like, did you then jump into him from there or did you travel? [01:19:54] Speaker H: Yeah, he was, he was part of the, the, the, the Twilight Watch. Yes. [01:20:03] Speaker D: Okay, there we go. [01:20:05] Speaker H: He was a member. [01:20:06] Speaker D: All right, all right, all right, all right. [01:20:08] Speaker H: That and I was, I was kept by the Twilight Watch for many years and studied. [01:20:16] Speaker D: Oh, you were studied? Like studied, studied? [01:20:22] Speaker H: Yes, yes. [01:20:27] Speaker D: Oh, I don't like that. I don't like this. I don't like. Okay, I think that's, I think we got some pretty good information, but I can't think of anything else to ask right now. [01:20:47] Speaker A: At least the holy magic is going to be getting rid of the problem. And I'm making a mental note in my head. That's cuz I can probably hear like, stay away from holy magic as much as you physically can. I don't want to nuke my boyfriend. [01:21:02] Speaker D: Oh, I do have one more question actually. Yeah, yeah. Turn to my brother. Do you remember anything? Anything about what the high priest is planning? [01:21:21] Speaker B: He thinks for a moment and goes, it's something to do with the symphony. Tea and the scray ovens are in deep. [01:21:38] Speaker D: It's always those guys. You have a really shitty name too. All right. [01:21:52] Speaker B: I, I, I wanted to know before you left. How is he doing? [01:22:05] Speaker D: He's good. He likes reading. He's gotten much taller than me, which is a little unfair because then he, he's like you. So that means you guys don't ever stop growing. You have a new nephew. [01:22:35] Speaker B: Yeah, [01:22:37] Speaker D: and that one's one I have no idea if you know about your niece, though. [01:22:49] Speaker B: I don't remember. Things are messy in my brain. But thank you. [01:23:02] Speaker D: I'll come see you again whether you're entirely there or not. [01:23:13] Speaker B: Hopefully it'll be better next time. [01:23:19] Speaker D: I just give when all of this. Sorry, go ahead. [01:23:23] Speaker A: When all of this is done and you've managed to recover, I will make you a feast fit for the High priest himself. Without any poison in it. Because I know what we're all thinking. [01:23:37] Speaker B: Sounds good. [01:23:44] Speaker D: I'll give him a, a curt nod and then we'll walk up really fast. Because if I stay any longer, [01:23:56] Speaker C: I [01:23:56] Speaker D: won't be tough Anymore. [01:24:02] Speaker A: Just from the top of the stair. He just. He, like, bloodline was here. Very soft graveling. Are you crying? [01:24:08] Speaker D: I don't do that. I literally can't. [01:24:13] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, you're right. Six can't cry. [01:24:15] Speaker D: That and, like, all of my tear ducts got burnt up. [01:24:20] Speaker A: That, too. [01:24:23] Speaker D: I. I don't think you understand. I'm, like, legally blind. [01:24:30] Speaker A: Sorry, Griffin, Are you showing an emotion? [01:24:32] Speaker D: No, Niall, I'm about to make you feel emotions if you don't get the up here. [01:24:40] Speaker A: Okay. [01:24:41] Speaker G: Jeez. [01:24:46] Speaker A: I hope that emotion's not painful. [01:24:51] Speaker D: Above table. It was going to be. It was going to be rage bait. I think that these family can do. It's rage bait. [01:25:01] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:25:02] Speaker B: You both leave the. The mansion and head back towards Silver Court. I mean, it's Silver Court, but television. [01:25:09] Speaker D: I may stop by Silver Court, actually. [01:25:13] Speaker B: Okay. Just to check in. [01:25:15] Speaker D: Check in with the family. And then also, I have to get a cake. [01:25:22] Speaker B: You do? Yeah. It's. You can definitely grab that cake and check in with your family as you put the. The last of your preparations for the date into motion. [01:25:33] Speaker A: And I'm sorry, while you're buying the cake, I just could be the most nasty side eye. [01:25:41] Speaker G: That's a lot. [01:25:43] Speaker D: She likes this specific cake. [01:25:47] Speaker A: I. I could have made a cake I would have stole the recipe for. I can try. Aubrey, can I try? That's a thing that some chefs do. [01:26:22] Speaker B: Give me a crafting check. [01:26:25] Speaker A: I assume this involves cooking, so I can add my gable bonus to it? [01:26:30] Speaker B: Theoretically, yes. [01:26:32] Speaker A: Beautiful. All right. I do have the seasoned bonus, so I will use this hero point if I have to. I want to use a hero point. I am using my only hero point for this because I'm so stubborn, [01:26:50] Speaker D: I'm [01:26:50] Speaker A: gonna throw myself into the sun. Yes. I want my season bonus as a treat. That's a 33. [01:27:03] Speaker B: 33. You're relatively sure that, given time, you could replicate something similar? [01:27:13] Speaker A: I'll have to do some trial and error. [01:27:15] Speaker B: Yeah, you're gonna have to do a lot of trial and error. That's the thing I'll do. [01:27:19] Speaker A: I can do some trial and error on it. [01:27:24] Speaker D: Nice. [01:27:26] Speaker A: My new project, cake mimicry. [01:27:32] Speaker B: Yeah, you've got that cake. You head back across the bridge. And I think the date will actually be a perfect thing to start next episode with. So take what she takes out.
