Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam.
Waking up asleep I've been dreaming Dr. Long I cannot find meaning hold my hand Let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons around me in this red light because me he is reaching out, consuming.
[00:01:32] Speaker B: Hello everybody.
[00:01:33] Speaker C: Welcome back to Goblins and Gays. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell different players, introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing, and then we'll get rolling into things.
[00:01:40] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante Grave Wing, who is a Nagaji's self monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns.
[00:01:52] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris, she her and
[00:01:54] Speaker B: I play Alouette Valer. Also she her, a bardic thaumaturge beast
[00:01:58] Speaker A: kin doing her best while juggling a family curse, falling in love, and of course the end of the world.
[00:02:06] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they he pronouns and I'm playing Eu.
Formerly Moran, still a problem, just angrier now. They are a blood hunter Nephilim problem.
Just.
Just trying to fix things, even though it's all bad. They also use they he pronouns.
[00:02:31] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire, the revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he him pronouns.
[00:02:52] Speaker A: Hi, I'm Tick.
[00:02:53] Speaker F: I use he, she, they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall, who uses he, they pronouns. He cooks, he cleans, he eats people, and has an alien parasite living in his spine, slowly consuming him.
[00:03:03] Speaker A: What more could you ask for?
[00:03:04] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them, and I play Laith Idrisi, the fourth Dampier Dandy rogue, failed matricide with a negative one constitution modifier. Laith uses she any pronouns.
[00:03:16] Speaker C: So what happened last time?
[00:03:19] Speaker F: I am actually still unfortunately looking over the applications for the cleric process. We have zero so far. If you'd like to do the recap for me really quickly while I finish processing these new clerics, which is zero.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: Yeah, we met up with Hester. Hester said, hey, student got kidnapped. I have a bad feeling about this. We said say less.
Actually, say more. And also, don't kill our friends if you meet all of us collectively and we freak you out, just don't do that. And she said, okay, we're weird. Ask, but sure.
And then she didn't yet. But also, we were all hiding ourselves, so who could say how she might react to meeting certain individuals in our party face to face. Even though she promised she'd be cool about it. I don't know.
So we go to the library, we do some investigating. The great mouse detective finds a secret bookcase. Behind the secret bookcase which lays unlocks. We find a secret passageway. And we do have a secret tunnel moment. Except we don't. We keep that internal into ourselves. But it's there.
And then we make our way downstairs. And then it's just sort of the symbiote nest.
It's bad time. It is corrupted 2.0.
It is just nightmare zone with the little sin eater. And by little I mean he's. He takes up like five squares on the map. Okay. He's not little.
Just chilling out in a nest of goo. And I keep trying to call it corruption.
The stuff that comes out of schism. That is schism. Schism stuff. But bad. The bad schism stuff. And we had a fight. We're still actually actively in the middle of the fight right now currently. We have learned you have to have like a 35 to hit this thing. So for some of us that means a natural 19.
We're doing bad. We're not.
Niall has been feeble minded. Okay.
We haven't actually taken a ton of damage yet, but we're all scared.
Oh, and Hester's here and may or may not kill Niall. We'll find out. Stay tuned. Let's go,
[00:05:27] Speaker C: Yuri. You're going to start everything off.
[00:05:30] Speaker D: Jesus Christ. And all that is below and above.
I would like to use my first action to attempt barf.
Get rid of that second condition.
That is going to be a 31.
[00:05:51] Speaker C: 31 will succeed. You can go. You can get rid of the second condition.
[00:05:55] Speaker D: Gross.
Can I say that I throw up fire?
[00:06:00] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:06:02] Speaker D: Hell yeah. I'm going throw a fire on this thing, which is gross in itself. And then I wanted to attack it with a flaming axe.
Do you have a hero point again?
[00:06:15] Speaker C: Yeah, you should.
[00:06:16] Speaker D: Okay, this. This dice. You are a dice filled with highs and lows.
Need a high right now.
Like that's good.
What's the math?
17 plus 17. That's 34.
Thinking. I'm thinking though.
[00:06:45] Speaker C: 34. 34 will hit.
[00:06:47] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:06:47] Speaker C: Because it'll be. If it is flanking, it'll be down to a 33 tent.
[00:06:51] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay.
Sixteen plus five slashing and then six fire.
[00:07:01] Speaker C: Remember, if you stay within melee range, you'll have to make the fortitude save again.
[00:07:05] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:07:08] Speaker G: Seduce the Mary. It's time.
[00:07:13] Speaker D: No.
What.
I will take literally like a step back and be I guess more central. So if things want to attack, they can attack me.
Yeah.
All right.
[00:07:40] Speaker C: It is the senators turn.
[00:07:45] Speaker E: I.
[00:07:48] Speaker C: Alistair, can you make me a will save as you hear this incoherent backwards babbling speech once again?
[00:08:00] Speaker E: Oh, wonderful.
Can I just be like. What happens if I just say no?
That's a possibility, right?
No, no, we'll say.
[00:08:12] Speaker C: I mean you can elect to fail.
[00:08:16] Speaker E: That would be funny but not good for the team. All right, 32.
[00:08:21] Speaker C: All right. That is going to be a failure. D.C. was 34 and you are now. It has cast confusion on you
[00:08:31] Speaker G: and
[00:08:32] Speaker C: you are now confused for one minute and you can make a new save at the end of each one of your turns to end the confusion.
And then Yuri, you are getting a claw attack.
[00:08:48] Speaker B: What?
[00:08:49] Speaker D: It's got reach.
[00:08:51] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:08:52] Speaker G: Read.
[00:08:55] Speaker C: So that is a 43 to hit.
[00:09:00] Speaker D: Now would you believe me if I said that didn't criticize.
You don't believe me. Okay, you'd be correct that that does crit.
[00:09:18] Speaker C: Okay, you will be taking 42 damage and you will be taking 1 D12 persistent bleed damage.
[00:09:30] Speaker D: What?
[00:09:32] Speaker C: D12 D12
[00:09:38] Speaker D: bleed could be healed with like a medicine check, right?
[00:09:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:43] Speaker D: Okay, so just need a battle medicine.
Gross.
And the persistence on my turn.
[00:09:53] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:09:54] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:09:55] Speaker C: So it is now end of his turn.
So he's going to take damage and he's going to make recovery checks.
Succeeds on the fire, fails on the bleed. So we'll still continue taking bleed. Bleed was the higher one anyways.
And that'll bring us to loot.
[00:10:20] Speaker A: Is this a. Am I like next to a column? Can I.
Am I able to like squiggle between gravewing and the column or do I have to go around?
[00:10:28] Speaker C: No, you can. You can squeeze between.
[00:10:30] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:10:36] Speaker A: I have an option that has a small chance of knocking down some of its dreadful ac.
If it works. I don't know if it will work.
But if it doesn't work, then I don't have a lot of options left to do this turn.
[00:11:02] Speaker D: Just got to try it.
[00:11:03] Speaker A: Oh, Alistair, the off footing shared thing about.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: What are you talking to me about?
[00:11:12] Speaker E: No, no, he is off guard to you.
[00:11:18] Speaker G: Focus.
[00:11:19] Speaker A: Okay. Is it just for this round,
[00:11:22] Speaker C: for one minute or that is.
[00:11:25] Speaker E: I think it's just your first attack.
[00:11:28] Speaker A: Okay, so if I.
[00:11:30] Speaker E: Which is. That's the out of character response. The in character response when you say Alistair is what I just said.
[00:11:39] Speaker F: Sure, sure, sure.
[00:11:43] Speaker A: Okay, so.
So if I did not attack him this round or attempt to attack him, then that's okay.
[00:11:52] Speaker E: The creature you hit is off guard to that ally on the next attack.
The designated ally makes against that creature before the start of your next turn.
[00:12:03] Speaker F: Oh.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: So it's got to be an hour.
[00:12:04] Speaker E: Use it this turn and it's only one attack.
[00:12:07] Speaker A: Got it, Got it, got it.
Okay, we'll start there and plan around that.
Okay.
19 or 20, baby. Do we think I can do it? I don't.
[00:12:23] Speaker D: I believe.
[00:12:24] Speaker G: I believe that's a 12.
[00:12:29] Speaker A: So I don't think it's a crit fail because I've rolled worse and I didn't have a crit fail.
[00:12:34] Speaker F: I still think you just should have believed a little bit harder.
[00:12:38] Speaker A: I know.
I. I lost sight of the heart of the cards and all that.
Plus, not minus.
Yeah, that's a 28, which is not a crit fail, right?
[00:12:57] Speaker C: It is.
It is not.
[00:12:59] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:13:01] Speaker A: Okay, that went really bad.
Yuri, how bad off are you?
[00:13:08] Speaker D: Not great.
[00:13:09] Speaker A: Not great.
[00:13:10] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay. Below half.
[00:13:14] Speaker A: Okay, then I'll save my Uno reverse for next time because I don't think it's gonna work anyway. And it'd be nice to do one thing. This, this, this round. So I'm just going to come over here and just while you're blazing your sword around, just sort of grab you by the hair, tilt your head back, pour some towels down and put you back up.
So, yeah, get healed, dude.
So that's going to be a 9.
[00:13:52] Speaker B: 11. 11 plus 4.
[00:13:58] Speaker A: 15.
Healing.
What is. Why do I have to punch Alistair? What is going on here? I can't anymore. I used up all my actions. But what do you mean, punch Alistair? You'll see fear also as I am healing Yuri, I'm gonna shout over my shoulder at Hester, who I saw coming down the stairs, only go for the big one.
Hopefully that means she won't attack Nile.
[00:14:34] Speaker G: Or she thinks that you and Niall and all the slimies are in league together and so she wants you
[00:14:41] Speaker A: Possible.
I look unfamiliar to her now.
That's three for me.
[00:14:52] Speaker C: All right. And yeah, that'll bring us to Hester's turn.
You all watch as with alacrity, she moves very quick for an arm of such a heavily armored person will spend. So go. 1531 action.
And is with the spear in hand, sort of flips it to a reversed grip before swinging back and throwing it towards the Sin Eater.
And you watch as it strikes true, burying itself deep within the Sin Eater.
And you watch as it does and hits. It sort of flares up with this.
You don't know what to call it because you've never felt what it's like to have the sun shine on you before.
For just a moment, there's this warmth that flares through this cavern and then it's gone.
And that'll bring us to Leith.
[00:16:18] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:16:19] Speaker G: So I last turn ran past the Sin Eater into this unidentified room. What is the room that I find myself in, Aubrey?
[00:16:29] Speaker C: So you, you are looking into this area and immediately you can tell that there is quite a bit of the floor is no longer there. And you can kind of see, well, not that far into the darkness, but it all goes down dark. But in the center of the room there is this swirling magic.
[00:16:53] Speaker G: Well, I'm not a magic guy, so that doesn't concern. Concern me.
[00:16:57] Speaker C: It feels very powerful.
[00:17:01] Speaker G: Yeah.
My other question is, does it.
Does the Sin Eater seem like they can sort of compress through the doorway or do I feel relatively safe where I am?
[00:17:17] Speaker C: They seem to be mostly made of goo. They can probably squeeze in where you really want to go.
[00:17:23] Speaker G: Yeah. Was my fear. That's what I thought, though.
[00:17:26] Speaker C: Probably why they didn't have to open the bookcase.
[00:17:29] Speaker G: Yeah.
Ew.
Okay, third question. Can I faint against the child of the tyrant or are they like too none. Okay, cool.
[00:17:45] Speaker C: They're at least sentient enough to be able to be tricked by tricks.
[00:17:49] Speaker G: Sweet.
Version A33 against their perception. DC
[00:18:03] Speaker C: that will be a critical success.
[00:18:07] Speaker G: Heck yeah. Okay. And as a part of that, I'm going to take my free movement, just sort of take a step back.
Was looking around the room in action.
[00:18:22] Speaker C: No.
[00:18:23] Speaker G: Okay.
I will lash out with my whip at the guy, the lad, my friend, the child.
That is a.
21. 31 to hit
[00:18:46] Speaker C: 31. 31 will.
31 will be a crit.
[00:18:53] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
[00:18:54] Speaker G: Does it take precision?
[00:18:58] Speaker C: Yes, it does.
[00:19:00] Speaker G: Amazing.
Okay, 17 times 2 is 34 damage total.
And I'm hoping that this helps.
They get a minus 10 speed penalty.
So I don't know how fast they are, but if they're immobilized, then that's good.
[00:19:31] Speaker C: They are not immobilized, but they are. They're very, very.
[00:19:36] Speaker F: From the information that I have from the last round, I believe their speed is 15ft or so. I also have a spell that lets me turn into a. So I'm using that as a frame of reference.
[00:19:48] Speaker C: Yeah. So they. They can. Their speed will be down to five feet approximate.
[00:19:57] Speaker G: So I could step again and make them spend a bunch of turns trying to get to me, but I will not do that.
I will attack again.
And that is a five on the dice. So that's not gonna hit. It would be like a 19 to hit,
[00:20:18] Speaker C: but 19 will hit.
[00:20:20] Speaker G: What? Oh, okay.
[00:20:27] Speaker C: These are just little baby mobs.
[00:20:30] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:20:30] Speaker A: That is
[00:20:33] Speaker G: 17 damage.
And actually I don't know how this works if I'm allowed to stat. Nope, that didn't do anything.
Please, please.
So I'm doing. I have debilitating strike now, which your strike hits an off guard creature and deals damage.
You apply one of the following debilitation which lasts until the end of your next turn.
So could I like, I apply the speed debuff already? Could I apply the other one as well now
[00:21:21] Speaker A: or.
[00:21:22] Speaker G: No, it doesn't say.
[00:21:23] Speaker C: It doesn't say. They wouldn't apply.
[00:21:25] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:21:26] Speaker G: Yeah, I don't think so.
So they're also enfeebled one.
And that's my turn.
[00:21:40] Speaker C: And yeah, it's the child of the tyrant.
They're going to spend their first action to slime their way over to you and then their second action to attempt to grapple you.
A23 is not going to succeed as you manage to dodge out of the way. And it's just going to try one more time.
Does a 29 succeed?
[00:22:10] Speaker G: This is AC or Reflex DC.
[00:22:13] Speaker C: Reflex.
[00:22:14] Speaker E: DC.
[00:22:15] Speaker G: That fails.
[00:22:17] Speaker C: All right then.
[00:22:17] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:22:18] Speaker C: You handily manage to loop this thing as it keeps trying to launch itself at your face.
And then that'll bring us a graveling.
[00:22:29] Speaker B: Objectively. Sin Eater looks like
[00:22:34] Speaker A: is.
[00:22:34] Speaker B: Is is getting attacked.
Like it's been handled a little bit this round. So I might try my best to prevent some of the children here.
What does haste do again for me?
[00:22:54] Speaker C: Haste gives you an extra action to either step or strike.
[00:22:59] Speaker F: I believe. Strike or stride.
[00:23:02] Speaker C: Yeah, striker stride.
[00:23:05] Speaker B: I think I'll go for the one that is closer. So it is to my.
I believe it's technically my left though on the. On the board it's my right. But either way it's within 20ft. So gonna be using that free movement to get there.
I think I. I'm going to. I'm going to use one action to enter dragon's dance.
So Matao pops out.
Next action will be flurry of blows.
And I should have one more action after that. So.
First hit is 35.
[00:23:46] Speaker C: 35. 35 is a crit.
[00:23:51] Speaker B: And the next one is a 23.
[00:23:53] Speaker C: 23 is just a regular hit.
[00:23:56] Speaker F: Regular hit.
[00:23:56] Speaker B: Okay, give me a second. I also have Bane, the Bane rune, which I believe ours is aberration.
[00:24:05] Speaker D: Yep.
[00:24:06] Speaker B: These count as. As aberration. Okay, nice.
I don't remember what the. Okay. An additional D6 damage that's what it is.
[00:24:16] Speaker C: And because you have the Bane rune when you hit it, that same flash of warmth and sunlight.
[00:24:27] Speaker B: 44 points of damage and 6 of that is from Bane.
I'm beating the shit the dog shit out of it. Wailing Just one punch and then the next hits are just the tail smacking it down like it's a bug.
And my tail being. I don't know. Newspaper.
How's it looking? Still up.
[00:25:00] Speaker C: It is still out.
[00:25:02] Speaker B: I will hit it one more time then. But this one will be an elemental blast. Specifically.
22.
[00:25:13] Speaker C: 22. 22 will hit.
Oh, these things are.
They don't have the. They don't have a. Like a very high ac.
[00:25:27] Speaker B: I have to do like so much like extra little math because I have the kinetic bracelet but like also it's. I have multi attack penalties. I was like.
But okay. This one my.
So now that I understand how I should be adding damage. 13.
We're going with lightning damage here or. Yeah, electricity I believe is the actual term. Yeah.
And just next. Next punch.
It's more like instead of a punch it's like a strike with both my.
My.
[00:26:10] Speaker A: My.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: My. My pointer and middle finger. And it's just like a point point blank chi blast essentially. But it's pure. Pure lightning or electricity.
[00:26:25] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:26] Speaker C: And that is all three actions.
[00:26:28] Speaker B: Yeah. I did 57 points of damage this round.
[00:26:31] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:26:32] Speaker B: Crazy, crazy time actually. I still have some movement. Can I still do that? Like out of my total.
[00:26:39] Speaker C: Cool.
[00:26:39] Speaker B: I'm gonna move back to where I was because it's just 20 out. And if it. If it can attack me, sure. But I also have guarded movement so my AC is way higher.
[00:26:51] Speaker C: It does have an attack of opportunity so it will strike out at you.
Yeah, no that's. That's only like a 23. So that's not gonna hit.
[00:27:01] Speaker B: That's actually a crit fail because shield and guarded movement
[00:27:08] Speaker C: and that'll bring us to Alistair.
[00:27:11] Speaker E: You're gonna regret your life decisions.
[00:27:15] Speaker C: Ah, monsters.
[00:27:18] Speaker E: So that is a 36 to hit graveling for eight piercing damage.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Skip you 6.
Skip you.
Map +5.
I take a terrible shot at Nile.
And then what was the last number?
Oh yeah. The last number was the fun one. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Come on Nat. 20.
And just to rub salt into wounds, I take a shot at Nile sand
[00:28:13] Speaker C: sister
[00:28:16] Speaker E: and blabber incoherently to myself.
[00:28:20] Speaker C: It's so bad she doesn't even realize it.
[00:28:24] Speaker B: Meanwhile, graving goes.
[00:28:26] Speaker C: Ah,
[00:28:29] Speaker D: Detective.
[00:28:30] Speaker F: I don't particularly think I realize it either. But for completely different reasons. I am a little bit gone at this point with the force to superfood.
[00:28:41] Speaker C: Yeah. And you, Alistair, you can re. You can make me another will save at the end of your turn.
[00:28:47] Speaker G: Oh, you don't have to.
[00:28:50] Speaker E: I'm enjoying the end.
I guess trying to.
Trying to attack Nile and sister got me out of it.
[00:29:04] Speaker C: Pull your like. Pull your punches. Last second.
[00:29:07] Speaker E: Where was that night natural 20 when I was trying to shoot Hester.
[00:29:16] Speaker C: Yeah, that'll bring us to Niall.
[00:29:21] Speaker F: Well, I suppose this is not for any emotional attachment, but Hester is the most well equipped out of everyone here and assuming she is not particularly stubborn, I will attempt to cast haste on her.
I can use this multiple times now that it's not a concentration spell and she would use the actions much better than I would at the moment. So let's see if I can use haste again. Depends on what the numbers decide to let me do.
Brilliant. I got a 13, so I'm able to actually cast it on her efficiently.
She is now granted an extra action just like griefling and I'm not particularly sure why it's applying to me, but sure.
She has now placed haste and let me check something.
I have a third action and this thing seems to be quite preoccupied with the people in of front front.
[00:30:26] Speaker E: So
[00:30:30] Speaker F: this will most likely be not much but I will try to cast a one action concordant fire just at first level just to see what I'm able to do. If I'm able to cast it,
[00:30:41] Speaker D: I'm getting.
[00:30:45] Speaker F: So that would be a basic fortitude save at a low DC of 21.
[00:30:54] Speaker C: So that is a 29.
[00:30:57] Speaker F: I don't think it takes any damage on a success. Let me check.
[00:31:02] Speaker C: I think it's basic so I think it takes half.
[00:31:05] Speaker F: It is basic, so it will take half of whatever this roll is.
The roll was.
Why am I rolling a saving though this thing is somewhat.
[00:31:17] Speaker C: It essentially is. It's. It's there to.
[00:31:20] Speaker F: So there's two one. So points of damage.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: It's more than that.
[00:31:27] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:31:27] Speaker C: Well, no, you cast a level one. Never mind. So it is.
[00:31:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:31:31] Speaker D: It's not a cantrip.
[00:31:32] Speaker F: It's not a can trip. No, a can trip. If it's succeeded against. I believe it is no damage.
[00:31:38] Speaker C: So you don't think he just cast his level one spell. Yeah.
[00:31:42] Speaker F: You will take one and a half points of damage. What an efficient third action.
But I did what I needed to do and that is my turn.
[00:31:52] Speaker C: Right. And you all watch as. Let's see two athletics check versus yari's. Reflex dc.
[00:32:08] Speaker D: Wait.
[00:32:12] Speaker C: So for the first two actions, the child of the tyrant slimed its way over to you, Yuri, and now just rolled a 33 versus your reflex DC to attempt to grapple you.
[00:32:26] Speaker D: 33.
[00:32:27] Speaker C: 33.
[00:32:31] Speaker D: Attack of opportunity is not when they enter my space until they leave.
[00:32:35] Speaker E: Correct.
[00:32:35] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The is grappled.
[00:32:42] Speaker A: Hey, I forgot I have a thing. I always forget I have a thing.
[00:32:49] Speaker C: The bell.
[00:32:50] Speaker A: The bell. I don't know if it'll help here, because does the grapple count as a strike?
Yes.
Can I bell ring it? Can I ring my bell?
[00:33:05] Speaker G: Actually
[00:33:09] Speaker A: follow up question that maybe I can't do this at all. I have sympathetic vulnerabilities. Which means that if I have a mortal weakness applied to something from exploiting it, then that applies the same weakness to all creatures that have it.
Would that mean I can ring my bell against this guy even though I'm not exploiting this one specifically?
[00:33:28] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:33:30] Speaker B: Stellar.
[00:33:30] Speaker A: Then yes. I'm ringing my bell. I. I don't remember how to do that.
I'm holding.
[00:33:37] Speaker C: It's a will save, I think from it.
[00:33:41] Speaker A: Yes. Okay.
[00:33:42] Speaker G: Sweet.
[00:33:42] Speaker A: I don't have to do anything. I just sit here and watch
[00:33:47] Speaker C: 17.
[00:33:48] Speaker A: Oh. Oh. I'm pretty sure that's a no. Right. Because it's my class. Dc.
[00:33:52] Speaker C: Yep. Which is a failure.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: Yay.
Congratulations. You have.
[00:34:00] Speaker C: You are either enfeebled.
Clumsy. Helps with physical things.
[00:34:06] Speaker A: That sounds like the option to go for here.
You're clumsy one until the end of your next turn. Not Yuri the slime.
[00:34:14] Speaker C: Does the 32 still succeed?
[00:34:16] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: It's something.
[00:34:21] Speaker A: It's something. And I can intensify this in a hot minute. So like.
[00:34:24] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:34:28] Speaker C: And it took down quite a bit of its stats. It's like AC and stuff.
[00:34:32] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:34:34] Speaker C: So yeah, that's. That's it. But you're now grappled by this thing and it's going for your face.
[00:34:39] Speaker D: Gross.
[00:34:44] Speaker C: All right. And we have the other one. The groan at the grave wing just attacked. So it is going to two actions to slime over to you. And it is going to attempt to grapple you.
I don't imagine a 28 beats your reflex. DC.
[00:35:01] Speaker B: Not again.
[00:35:06] Speaker C: We'll back to the top of the round with Yuri.
[00:35:10] Speaker D: I would like to strike at it with my axe. My burning axe.
So I can still attack it, right?
[00:35:21] Speaker C: Yes, you can.
[00:35:22] Speaker D: Yeah. I was gonna do that.
Damn. Should have rolled a good cedar. That's a 19 on the dice. Which is like a 36.
[00:35:34] Speaker C: 36. That is going to be a critical hit.
[00:35:37] Speaker D: Yeah. That's ooh, six plus five.
11, 16 slashing and 12 fire.
Sorry, 16 slashing. Yeah. 16 slashing, 12 fire total.
Still alive?
[00:35:55] Speaker C: Unfortunately, yes.
[00:35:57] Speaker D: Okay.
Oh, wait, this is. Wait, hang on a second. Aubrey.
This is with my all of all for one, which is my ax shotgun.
So it has critical fusion and.
Oh, it sounds sick. I then going to for my second action because I have the sword and pistol.
Sword and gun thing from the gunslinger.
My next attack with gun has.
Does not trigger reactions and and me is off guard against my thing. So I would like to then grab my dueling pistol and shoot at the same thing again.
Cuz now it's now off guard and does not trigger reactions.
[00:37:20] Speaker F: However,
[00:37:23] Speaker D: I rolled a one.
[00:37:26] Speaker C: So are you going to keep that one?
[00:37:30] Speaker D: I have fear that we have a human.
I. I am in the danger zone in so many ways. So I'm gonna keep this one.
[00:37:43] Speaker C: So this might actually be good for you.
[00:37:47] Speaker D: Oh dear.
[00:37:49] Speaker C: The card I pulled. The effect is called recoil.
You were pushed five feet backwards at fall prone. What this means you're no longer grat.
[00:38:02] Speaker D: This does. This does.
[00:38:05] Speaker A: Am I did. Are they on? Do they just fall on top of me or which direction are they being pushed?
[00:38:13] Speaker D: Like over here?
[00:38:14] Speaker C: Yeah, over here.
[00:38:14] Speaker D: Those over here.
[00:38:16] Speaker C: So that makes sense.
[00:38:17] Speaker A: That makes sense.
[00:38:21] Speaker D: Well, I would then like to use all my movement to stand up.
Oh, there's like a misfire for pistol. So I'm probably not gonna be able to use it for a minute.
[00:38:32] Speaker B: Great.
[00:38:32] Speaker C: I think you have to do you have to like clean it or whatever?
[00:38:36] Speaker D: Something like that. Okay, cool. Well, that is my turn.
[00:38:40] Speaker C: And it is now we are not back to the center.
And lugh.
A tentacle shoots out towards you for 43.
[00:38:56] Speaker A: Yeah. And yes.
Jeez.
Jeez. You almost doubled my AC.
[00:39:05] Speaker C: That is 56 damage.
Okay, you are now grabbed.
And can you make me a Fortitude save?
[00:39:16] Speaker B: Hold on.
[00:39:16] Speaker A: Let me get rid of 56.
[00:39:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:22] Speaker A: Points of my health. And then I have to do a what now?
[00:39:27] Speaker C: A Fortitude save.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: Fortitude save.
It's gonna go real good. I can feel went what I would consider pretty decent were this literally anything else.
It is somehow a 30, but I feel like that's not gonna be good enough.
[00:39:47] Speaker C: A 30 meets beats.
[00:39:51] Speaker D: Sure.
[00:39:51] Speaker C: It's D.C.
you are instead of being paralyzed, you are slowed one for one round.
And is going to use a second action to reposition you to drag you further in.
[00:40:15] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:40:18] Speaker C: And then is you can feel the tentacle tighten around your ribs. And can you give me me another Fortitude safe?
[00:40:33] Speaker A: Oh no.
That's one less than I got last time. So that's gonna be a 29.
[00:40:40] Speaker C: I luckily this is only just damage as starts to constrict.
[00:40:46] Speaker A: You, girl, you just took out half my hp. What do you mean only just damaged?
[00:40:52] Speaker C: So you're going to take 15 bludgeoning damage.
[00:40:56] Speaker F: Okay, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine.
[00:41:01] Speaker C: And because you were within melee range of this, I'm going to need another fortitude.
[00:41:09] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:41:09] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:41:10] Speaker A: We're playing.
Every fortitude check I have made has been within one digit of each other. So we're up to 31.
[00:41:19] Speaker C: 31. So that is a success for its blood draining.
So you will only become sickened one you do not get become drained.
[00:41:33] Speaker A: Huzzah.
[00:41:37] Speaker C: And hey, it's your turn.
[00:41:39] Speaker A: Oh, God. Okay, Great.
[00:41:40] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:41:41] Speaker A: So I have two actions now.
Am I still grabbed? Yes. So I'm grappled. I am sickened. And I got two actions to do something about that.
Getting out is not happening. We've all seen what my athletics look like.
They're neg.
I'm gonna stab it because I don't really have a better option here.
I don't have a lot of tools in my chest. So we're just gonna stab it and it's. So is it. Have we stacked anything on this guy yet? Not really.
[00:42:26] Speaker C: You just got the persistent bleed.
[00:42:29] Speaker A: Okay. I'm gonna. I'm not gonna hit it if I try to attack it. So I'm going to at least try to do. Do something to it that may or may not work. So I need a. Your what is your will DC.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: The will DC or.
[00:42:48] Speaker A: Huh.
[00:42:49] Speaker C: Yeah.
31.
[00:42:54] Speaker A: This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. So you know how I said there's no way I would have ever hit it?
I just rolled a nat20 on an occultism check.
[00:43:06] Speaker D: It's something.
[00:43:08] Speaker A: So what that means is that I got a Nat20. So that's like a 37 for disturbing knowledge. But because it's a Nat20, that automatically bumps it up one, right?
[00:43:23] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:43:24] Speaker A: So that makes this a critical success.
So you are confused and frightened one for a whole round Wild. And the way this happens is the same way you got Alistair. I'm hitting it right back at you.
So you spoke backwards to Alistair. I'm taking the exact same things that he said backwards and saying them forwards with perfect clarity.
[00:43:51] Speaker D: So just throwing his shots at them.
[00:43:54] Speaker C: You want to know what he was saying?
[00:43:56] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:43:56] Speaker A: Oh, yes. You know, Hell yeah. Let's go.
[00:43:59] Speaker C: The tyrant will gift you all as well as he has me.
He will uplift you and you will feel his love as he brings the world into this new dawn.
[00:44:17] Speaker A: Then actually, instead of saying exactly what it was, I'm going to say it forwards, but I'm going to say it actually, I'm going to flex. I did a natural 20. I'm going to also say this backwards to him, but instead of he will uplift you. It's the tyrant will never gift you as well as he has gifted others. He will never love you. He will never uplift you. You are his least favorite son.
You will not see his new dawn. He's taking you to the pits.
[00:44:45] Speaker C: Hell yeah.
[00:44:49] Speaker A: So feel scared and frightened and confused, dear friend.
[00:44:53] Speaker F: Did you learn that one from your mother?
[00:44:56] Speaker A: Probably.
[00:45:01] Speaker C: That was one action.
[00:45:03] Speaker A: No, that's two actions. That's all I got.
[00:45:05] Speaker F: Cool.
[00:45:08] Speaker C: Hey, your slow goes away.
And it is Hester's turn.
You watch with a free action, Hester recalls the spear to her hand.
And for two actions, we'll use an action called spear vault.
To.
[00:45:38] Speaker F: Yeah,
[00:45:41] Speaker C: you watch as she rushes towards this sort of raised area that the tyrant is, jumps up, catches the spear on the lip and uses that to propel herself up and over the tyrant.
Or up and over the.
The Sin Eater.
[00:45:59] Speaker F: Interesting Freudian slip there.
[00:46:02] Speaker C: It's not the tyrant.
And then will bring this spear down in an impaling strike on Sineador.
And that hits.
And you all feel that flash of warmth, flash of light.
You feel the sun again for a moment.
And then for her last action with her other arm, she raises her shield, sort of having the spear in sort of a defensive position.
Clearly someone.
That is four actions, because actually her spear vault was two actions.
[00:46:50] Speaker F: And then raising the shield is one action.
[00:46:52] Speaker C: And she attacked as well.
[00:46:56] Speaker F: Oh, I see. My apologies.
[00:47:01] Speaker C: Bring us a leaf.
[00:47:05] Speaker G: Okay, Aubrey, this is what I'd like to do. And you can tell me if I can do it and what I would have to roll in order to do. So I would like to take a step back so that I'm up against the broken floor of this. This other room on the ledge of the magic.
I would like to goad the child of the tyrant into sort of. Instead of suckering itself to my face, suckering itself to my dagger or something disposable, I would then like to swing around and drop it into this magical pit.
[00:47:44] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:47:45] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:47:45] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I'd say that's possible be some sort of faint.
[00:47:53] Speaker G: Okay.
Oh, that's an 18 on the dice.
So 19. That would be 39. And also, I believe the perception is Lowered currently because of my last round.
Yeah, they have a minus 2 to their perception.
[00:48:17] Speaker C: The 39 is already a critical success.
[00:48:20] Speaker G: Hell yeah.
[00:48:24] Speaker C: So yeah, I would say something like that is theoretically possible. Using the Sphinx to essentially reposition this
[00:48:36] Speaker D: Uzi boy.
[00:48:38] Speaker F: Great.
[00:48:40] Speaker G: And then pushing the Uzi boy off the ledge. Because we've seen them ooze. We have not seen them actually fly. Right?
[00:48:48] Speaker C: No, they certainly have not flown.
[00:48:51] Speaker A: Okay, great.
[00:48:53] Speaker C: You will lose the dagger.
[00:48:54] Speaker G: That's fine. I'm not using the Adrisi dagger. I have other daggers.
[00:49:00] Speaker C: All right, yeah. Then he is going to start falling.
[00:49:05] Speaker F: Hell yeah.
[00:49:09] Speaker G: So that is Path builder has to pause while I delete a dagger from my inventory.
Then I am going to step back so that I am once again flanking the Sin Eater through the door.
But I have distance between it so I don't get sick.
Oh, also, yeah.
Does the magic in the room. Leith doesn't care, but Alyssa is curious.
The magic in the room seem to be reacted to the tyrant spawn that's fallen down into it.
Maybe just not yet.
[00:49:52] Speaker C: No, not currently.
[00:49:53] Speaker G: Okay, cool.
That's my turn.
[00:49:59] Speaker C: Oh yeah. And yeah, this tyrant is falling.
I will take it off the initiative.
It's going wherever that pit goes.
And then it'll bring us a great wing.
[00:50:14] Speaker B: Ominous, but like, also kind of funny because like, if it does go to the a tyrant, the tyrant be like. Oh, so you're threatening me because it has a knife.
Everything with that.
[00:50:28] Speaker D: What do you have a knife?
[00:50:30] Speaker A: Knife?
No.
[00:50:33] Speaker B: Blasted. Back to submission. O.
Okay, I got A in front of
[00:50:39] Speaker F: me
[00:50:42] Speaker B: and a over there. Let's see.
Here is what I would like to do. I. How does.
[00:50:51] Speaker G: How.
[00:50:52] Speaker B: How does this goo look?
I did 57 points to it.
I don't think it's been hit afterwards, but it's. It's 57.
[00:51:02] Speaker C: I would say it's a. It's on.
It doesn't really last leg, but yeah, it's kind of bloodied.
[00:51:09] Speaker B: Okay, then we'll just do a melee elemental blast at it. Cuz that's still a good chunk of damage at the very least.
That's very good.
[00:51:23] Speaker F: Sorry.
[00:51:23] Speaker B: 34 to hit.
[00:51:27] Speaker C: 34 hits is a crit.
[00:51:31] Speaker B: Goodness gracious. A crit is doubling the die or
[00:51:35] Speaker A: something like that, right?
[00:51:39] Speaker C: Yes. Double the roll and double it.
[00:51:42] Speaker A: Everything, not just the dice.
[00:51:46] Speaker B: That's true. Yeah, Chris. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. Okay, let's do it like this then.
[00:51:59] Speaker F: Okay,
[00:52:12] Speaker B: That's 22 electricity damage coming down on it.
[00:52:21] Speaker C: 22 and it pops.
[00:52:28] Speaker B: Shove my whole hand in it and Just blast it.
Shake my hand clean.
Okay, so like Yuri and Lou look very bad.
There's a whole guy over there. What's the other child of the tyrant looking like? What's happening with it? I don't understand what.
[00:52:51] Speaker G: What the.
[00:52:52] Speaker B: What the symbol is.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: It's clumsy.
[00:52:55] Speaker B: Clumsy.
[00:52:56] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:52:59] Speaker A: This is also the worst. The tyrant or not the tyrant, the Sin Eater will be.
Because after this round, it goes back to where it was before in terms of like negative effects.
[00:53:12] Speaker C: Is it end of the round round or is it end of your next turn?
[00:53:16] Speaker A: I think it's end of my next turn.
[00:53:18] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:53:19] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:53:19] Speaker B: This will still be my only chance then.
[00:53:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:53:24] Speaker E: So
[00:53:27] Speaker B: I have a question about the grapple that Lou is in. Is there a way for me to get her ungrappled?
[00:53:37] Speaker C: Theoretically, yes. You could essentially try to counteract the grapple that the.
That the Sin Eater has on Lou and reposition her.
[00:53:55] Speaker B: And what would that be like athletics?
[00:54:00] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:54:02] Speaker B: Let's.
Let's do that then gonna here. I guess that's where Louis right. Says 15.
[00:54:17] Speaker E: Boom.
[00:54:18] Speaker B: Oops. I'll just stand beside to see if this even works. And it's athletics against their what
[00:54:26] Speaker E: it
[00:54:26] Speaker C: would be athletics versus their reflex dc.
[00:54:30] Speaker B: The reflex dc.
[00:54:32] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:54:33] Speaker B: Let's hope it's ass because I've got a decent amount to throw at this.
[00:54:43] Speaker C: Nat.
[00:54:43] Speaker B: 20.
[00:54:45] Speaker C: Yeah, that would succeed.
[00:54:46] Speaker B: 39 just in case
[00:54:52] Speaker A: you.
[00:54:53] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:54:54] Speaker B: So I just. I.
I pop this over there and I'm still. I'm in Dragon's dance. So I.
Even though mechanically this is not true flavor text wise, I. I think Raven looks even faster with her tail rather than her legs and just sliding over with such like momentum that I kind of just go over whatever goo this there is. And with my. My tail I spray in lieu out of it and we reposition. I think I can only reposition her five feet so she might be beside Yuri or behind me is what I would like it to be. So you still have to deal with the child over there, but at least it's not the big guy,
[00:55:49] Speaker F: cuz I
[00:55:50] Speaker B: don't think I can throw you any further.
[00:55:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:55:57] Speaker B: Boom.
And because I'm pasted, I still have the ability to strike again. So I will flurry of blows. This guy.
I'm gonna use a hero point.
That was a bad roll.
Are there any bonuses to being here at all or. No, I don't think so. Right.
Because he just has a bunch of debuffs. But like there's like no like additional plus one or anything for from like your.
[00:56:25] Speaker C: No, everything is debuffing him. Yeah.
[00:56:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Everything's debuffing him.
[00:56:28] Speaker A: But is Hester flanking him? Technically down in the corner.
[00:56:31] Speaker G: I am for grapewing because I have a swift. So I'm in melee.
[00:56:36] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:56:39] Speaker B: Next. Next attack is 28.
[00:56:43] Speaker C: A 28.
The 28 is not going to hit.
[00:56:50] Speaker B: 29 because I rolled high.
Yeah.
[00:56:53] Speaker C: Yeah. Also unfortunately not hit. It's currently AC is sitting at a 30.
You're so close.
[00:57:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
I didn't. I. I assumed it was 30. I was like, I won't hit it. I won't hit it with Flurry. Sadly, that's it. That's my whole turn.
[00:57:13] Speaker C: Are you staying there?
[00:57:15] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:57:17] Speaker C: I will need you to make Fortitude safe.
It is DC30 currently.
[00:57:25] Speaker B: I think I'll beat you 33.
[00:57:28] Speaker C: At 33, you will succeed. So you will only become sickened one as he tries to absorb your blood.
[00:57:36] Speaker B: It's a lot easier now that there's a arrow in my back.
[00:57:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
And that'll bring us to Alistair.
[00:57:46] Speaker E: I know absolutely nothing about how that arrow got there.
[00:57:50] Speaker C: No.
[00:57:51] Speaker E: As I come to.
[00:57:52] Speaker C: You've never seen that arrow before in your life.
[00:57:55] Speaker B: Nope.
[00:57:58] Speaker C: Certainly doesn't say Property of Alistair Whiskerfield on it.
[00:58:04] Speaker E: Take a moment to reek.
[00:58:07] Speaker D: Is.
[00:58:08] Speaker E: Wow.
Another 18. I am rolling on fire right now.
And he still hasn't passed his persistent bleed check, has he?
[00:58:23] Speaker C: He's. He has not passed.
[00:58:26] Speaker E: All right, so this time we're gonna pull out our wire shot.
Fortunately, 36 is still not enough to crit even with all those debuffs.
But we will add on.
No. We don't need to make a close. We need to roll damage. There we go.
That is a lot of dice.
Not as much damage as last time.
So that is 16 piercing damage and eight slashing eight electricity for a total of 32.
And that is three actions
[00:59:25] Speaker C: and other RA denial.
[00:59:29] Speaker F: I'm just checking something. That is a three feet.
Does this creature count as undead?
[00:59:39] Speaker C: No.
[00:59:40] Speaker F: No. That's all right. That does not particularly change my attempt. I would like to cast worms repast.
So in the family friendly thing. Favor texts. Some of I. I guess technically says it's something consuming the enemy. Some of my goop will consume that goop in a goop friendly manner.
An ethical unethical goopening as one does.
Let's see if I'm even able to cast it. Use a two action spell.
A perfect nine.
Please make me a basic fortitude save.
[01:00:20] Speaker C: That is a 33.
[01:00:24] Speaker F: That does nothing.
[01:00:25] Speaker B: Then
[01:00:28] Speaker F: that is unfortunate. The stupefied makes it very difficult
[01:00:35] Speaker G: not
[01:00:35] Speaker F: Particularly much else I can do without risking. I suppose I can attempt to use shield if it comes after me or it does seem like everyone has things vaguely under control and I'm not sure which help I'll be able to be if I come any closer. But I suppose I'm basically positioning a little bit closer so I can do a little bit of healing if needed. Just over here.
That will be my turn. I do not look very good, but I've done quite a bit of Hastings and despite the save, I'm.
I am just tired.
I, Niall, would like a nap in a warm cup of hot chocolate with milk as the base and not sympathetic watered down substance. That is my turn.
[01:01:21] Speaker C: Right? And it comes to the child of the tyrant who is unfortunately right next to you, Louis.
So they are going to attempt to leap at you.
Well that's only a 17 versus your reflex DC.
[01:01:41] Speaker A: Oh hey, yeah, no, my reflex DC is a 25.
[01:01:50] Speaker C: Yep, they're going to try that again, but you know, penalty and that's even worse.
[01:01:59] Speaker F: Woohoo.
[01:02:01] Speaker C: And they're going to try it one more time and nope, you're able to essentially sort of kite this thing around your little space.
So it's just always jumping past you.
[01:02:13] Speaker A: Bob and weave, bob and weave.
[01:02:18] Speaker C: Right. And that'll bring us back to Yuri.
[01:02:22] Speaker D: I would like to battle medicine myself, which I am an expert in medicine. So I'd like to do the expert save which I need to get like a 20. Correct?
[01:02:40] Speaker F: Yes,
[01:02:43] Speaker D: I was gonna say I just need to re roll more than a five and I didn't want to say it. I got a 7 so it's 22.
[01:02:49] Speaker C: 22.
So that will succeed and I believe that will. It won't get rid of the bleed, but I think it will take the DC down to like the 5 for the flat check.
Unless you heal yourself up to full. Cuz if you heal yourself up to full, bleed goes away.
[01:03:12] Speaker D: I think at this point I
[01:03:19] Speaker G: would
[01:03:19] Speaker D: like to attempt to do blood curse of the binding.
I need this, the senator to make a fortitude safe for me.
[01:03:37] Speaker E: Please
[01:03:40] Speaker D: amplifying this spell.
[01:03:44] Speaker C: That is a 24.
[01:03:46] Speaker D: 24.
Okay, so that is just a normal success.
They are going to be taking a five foot circumstance penalty to their speed, which doesn't really do that much.
And this is amplified which means I dealt six damage to myself. Nope, more than that.
Nine damage to myself. So it's gonna last not this turn until their next turn.
Unfortunately that's all I could do.
Oh, I need to do my bleed thing, right?
[01:04:37] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:04:37] Speaker D: So I take the damage now?
[01:04:39] Speaker C: Yes, you take the damage and then you roll.
[01:04:43] Speaker D: Woo woof.
Well, that battle medicine wasn't as useful as I hoped it would be. That's eight bleed then.
Could I make. Do I make the check now?
[01:04:59] Speaker C: Yes.
D20. Roll.
[01:05:03] Speaker D: There's my 20.
Hey.
[01:05:06] Speaker F: Yeah.
[01:05:06] Speaker C: You're no longer bleeding.
[01:05:07] Speaker A: That's good.
[01:05:08] Speaker G: I guess.
[01:05:10] Speaker D: Cool. Well, that's my turn.
[01:05:14] Speaker C: It is the Sin Eater's turn. And because it is confused is going to make three random attacks.
Six. I'm gonna roll a D6 because there's six of you around.
And so Grave wing, you are going to be attacked by one of these tentacles for a 41.
Is that a crit?
[01:05:42] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:05:45] Speaker C: Can you make me a Fortitude Save?
[01:05:53] Speaker B: 35.
[01:05:55] Speaker C: 35.
So it is a success. So you will become slowed one for one round and you will take 56 damage.
Leave tentacle coming your way.
[01:06:17] Speaker G: It doesn't have to sounds like it's
[01:06:19] Speaker C: certainly not going to because It's a natural one for 22.
[01:06:22] Speaker G: Hell yeah.
[01:06:26] Speaker C: And this one is called Awkward Attack. So they are now off guard until the end of their next turn.
[01:06:32] Speaker B: Nice, nice, nice.
[01:06:37] Speaker C: And one last one.
You are not so lucky. But that is a 30 to hit.
[01:06:44] Speaker D: That still hits.
[01:06:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:06:48] Speaker B: Stand still. Proc. In this case, I don't think so.
[01:06:51] Speaker C: No.
So it is going to be 25 damage and give me a Fortitude save.
[01:06:57] Speaker A: Hey, can I ring my bell? It's not gonna implo. It's not gonna stop this attack in any way. I just want to attempt to be some more.
[01:07:05] Speaker D: Go for it.
[01:07:07] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:07:10] Speaker D: Oh.
[01:07:10] Speaker G: Oh.
[01:07:12] Speaker A: Why Lord, that's so funny. That's the second NAT20 for such a silly moment.
No.
[01:07:19] Speaker C: That's really good though.
[01:07:20] Speaker A: Wait, I didn't even have to roll. What am I doing?
You have to give me a Fortitude Save. I'm dumb. I forgot I wasted a NAT playing nothing.
[01:07:31] Speaker D: No bait. Make that roll, Aubrey. She's rolling 20 decks.
[01:07:34] Speaker C: It's a good roll. I only. I got a two for a 24.
[01:07:38] Speaker A: Yeah, that beats.
[01:07:39] Speaker E: Wow.
[01:07:39] Speaker A: You.
[01:07:40] Speaker C: Never mind.
[01:07:40] Speaker A: I can't ring my bell against this man.
[01:07:47] Speaker D: Fortitude Save, by the way. Aubrey is 26.
[01:07:52] Speaker C: 26.
So that is where is that
[01:07:59] Speaker B: you
[01:08:00] Speaker C: are paralyzed for one round and then slowed one for one round. After recovering, I am paralyzed.
[01:08:07] Speaker D: I am gonna fucking die.
[01:08:13] Speaker C: And that'll bring us to Lou's turn.
[01:08:16] Speaker A: Okay.
So does battle medicine.
Are you immune to battle mism for anybody or just from you, Yuri?
[01:08:33] Speaker C: I think it's just from the wording
[01:08:35] Speaker A: says it's immune to Your battle medicine for a day.
[01:08:37] Speaker C: It essentially is for that.
[01:08:39] Speaker A: So I could still battle medicine you?
[01:08:41] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:08:43] Speaker A: Does that help with paralysis?
[01:08:47] Speaker D: Jeez, let me. Let me pull it up.
[01:08:49] Speaker A: I feel like. No, but.
[01:08:54] Speaker D: Paralyz.
[01:08:58] Speaker A: Hi, baby.
[01:09:03] Speaker D: I think only if you have. Like, there is other things you could do when you do.
[01:09:08] Speaker C: There is a. I think there's a. There's a specific skill sheet you can get that would allow you to counteract things like that, so.
[01:09:15] Speaker F: Gotcha.
[01:09:15] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:09:16] Speaker C: All you would do is heal.
[01:09:18] Speaker A: Okay.
And I don't think that's as much healing as chalice at full, so I'm going to hope I'm mathing correctly.
Girl, move your everything.
Cuz I don't fully understand how treat wounds hit works, but I do know I have to roll for it and I could hurt Yuri more. So instead we're gonna not do that and I'm just gonna dump the whole chalice down their throat.
So that is gonna be a
[01:10:01] Speaker C: three per level.
[01:10:04] Speaker A: 27.
So 27 GP.
Oh, wait, are you.
No, it's more than that because of the adept.
So it's actually 45.
[01:10:20] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:10:23] Speaker A: So that's that.
And then I'm going to Yuri and I'm going to remind you that you do have the lovers notch, which is gonna be a little extra boost.
And then I'm gonna.
The odds are so small because I just got one. But like, what if. You know, like, what if I'm gonna roll the hit.
Oh, I'm gonna move. Shoot. Oh, no, I have a card. I don't know.
Yeah.
[01:11:01] Speaker F: No.
[01:11:01] Speaker A: Okay, I have a hero point. I'll use that though.
Still no.
I'll save my last hero point. I won't use it. So that's gonna be a miserable.
27.
[01:11:18] Speaker C: Yeah. Close.
You've gotten his. You've gotten his AC down to 30.
[01:11:23] Speaker A: Oh, I was closer than I.
[01:11:25] Speaker C: Very close. Yeah.
[01:11:26] Speaker A: Dang.
Oh, wait, I have a second.
I have a third.
[01:11:31] Speaker F: Action.
[01:11:32] Speaker A: I mean, it's not gonna happen.
But I could get an F. But he could.
[01:11:37] Speaker F: But he could.
[01:11:37] Speaker C: What if it did?
[01:11:38] Speaker A: You know?
But what if I did? I'm not gonna get one.
No. That's a five. Gosh. That's gonna be what? A critical miss. That's a 15 total.
16 total.
[01:11:57] Speaker C: In the middle of this chaos in the hall behind you, you hear the sounds of heels clicking, boots clicking on the floor as someone else has joined the fray.
And you all see the now familiar face of the headmaster, Andreas Ravenswood.
[01:12:19] Speaker E: Good.
[01:12:21] Speaker A: I like that he wears heels. That's a fun little feature. Like detail.
[01:12:25] Speaker C: Yeah, and he says it's about time I got off my ass and did something important and I think that is a pretty good place to end it. And we'll come back next week and finish up the fight with the Sin Eater because fun fact, you just got him below half health.
[01:12:51] Speaker G: Yikes.
[01:12:51] Speaker E: No, I want a murder.
[01:12:58] Speaker F: Well, I just finished going through the zero applications for clerics and none of you have made the cut. That being said, I can take us out properly tonight. Thank you all very much for listening to another wonderful episode of Goblets and Gays. If you enjoy the content, you can support us on Patreon. Follow us on Instagram on bluesky. Join our discord to have wonderful conversations with the cast and community alike and remember to stay safe and please apply as a cleric. We really need one at this point and I don't think Aubrey is going to particularly decide to show us any mercy anytime soon.
Thank you.
Please, please,
[01:14:02] Speaker B: Please.
[01:14:55] Speaker A: It.
