[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello everybody, and welcome to the Tyrant of the Dark Star Season 2 Roundtable. I'm Aubrey and yeah, I'm here with all of these chuckle. And we're gonna discuss what happened. [00:00:13] Speaker B: Is that, you know. Okay, I'll accept it at this point. [00:00:16] Speaker C: We're gonna guess what happened. [00:00:17] Speaker A: We're gonna discuss what happened. [00:00:19] Speaker D: Oh, I mean, I'll guess what happened. [00:00:25] Speaker E: What about that TPK last episode? [00:00:30] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:00:31] Speaker C: Shame. We all have to come back with new characters. [00:00:33] Speaker A: Shame. [00:00:37] Speaker B: That's right. [00:00:39] Speaker C: Come back with a new character though, because you've defected to the evil side. [00:00:42] Speaker B: So. [00:00:42] Speaker D: Yeah, actually the BBEG now. [00:00:47] Speaker C: Was no good. [00:00:48] Speaker F: This is why I don't trust white men. [00:00:50] Speaker C: Sorry. Scarlock. Makes sense. [00:00:58] Speaker D: Apologize to me too. I'm also the white man now. [00:01:02] Speaker C: You deserve it. [00:01:06] Speaker D: Man. [00:01:07] Speaker A: So, yeah, this. This season went a little differently. I tried some new things and you know, there were several big twists. You know, the whole everything with Nadia and the blades and Yuri getting kidnapped. It's certainly been a. [00:01:28] Speaker C: And yeah, yeah. What the heck, Aubrey, you know, Aubrey. [00:01:37] Speaker A: There'S a lot going on. [00:01:39] Speaker C: Nobody asked a question about the. The decision and I'm impressed. I think everyone forgot about it because so much stuff. Stuff happened afterwards. [00:01:47] Speaker D: So much. Oh my God. [00:01:49] Speaker A: Yeah, it started with that and it didn't end. [00:01:53] Speaker B: Yeah. And I was like, episode 20. [00:01:56] Speaker A: Yeah, episode 21st. 20 episodes of season two. Pretty normal. [00:02:01] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:02:03] Speaker C: Depends on your definition. [00:02:06] Speaker B: Sort of a lot did also compared. [00:02:08] Speaker A: To the last 16. [00:02:13] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:02:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Damn. What the fuck? [00:02:23] Speaker D: Aubrey is just. I think this is a psychological span on how much trauma Aubrey can put us through. But we've had a lot of shit happen this past season. [00:02:30] Speaker C: Huh. [00:02:32] Speaker D: We should start making bingo cards. [00:02:36] Speaker B: Should. I know. Transplanter does that for. They do it per episode. I think that'd be a fun thing to do. [00:02:42] Speaker C: Yeah. One of their fans does them. [00:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it's Erica. [00:02:46] Speaker C: Pretty sure. [00:02:47] Speaker B: Shout out Erica. I think we're in a project together. [00:02:50] Speaker C: It's true. Secret, secret project. Soon to be less. [00:02:56] Speaker D: I don't know what you guys are talking about. Please tell me in dms. I'd like to know. [00:03:01] Speaker B: So, Aria, how do you want to start this? [00:03:04] Speaker A: Yeah, we can. We've got our lovely list of questions here. I could start it off by asking a question of the group and we can kind of just popcorn it around, answer a bunch of these and discuss things. [00:03:19] Speaker C: You should start with the very last question. [00:03:22] Speaker B: I disagree. I think we should start with what question you were going to start with Aubrey. [00:03:34] Speaker A: You know, let's start with a question from Layet. To disrespector. [00:03:43] Speaker D: So you mean the correct viewers. Gotcha. [00:03:47] Speaker A: To everyone. I just want to start off with doing everybody's favorite npc. Doesn't matter. Good guy, bad guy, etc. [00:03:57] Speaker C: Universe. [00:03:59] Speaker A: Yeah, Good choice. [00:04:00] Speaker C: Juniper is great in season two. [00:04:02] Speaker D: Juniper in season two. I know my season three answer. I can't say it. [00:04:06] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. I have a different answer for season three, but season two, Juniper. Easy. A lot of good ones, though. A lot of good ones. [00:04:16] Speaker B: There's a lot of good ones. Also, we should clarify. Aki is not here, so their questions will be read by some of us. I have them up. Let me read Aki's really quick because Aki's answer has two. First, one, Hortensia, because she's a hater. Oh, my God. I respect this hoe so much. Second, Lorelei and Whiskey Jack are too biased for me, but I do love them a lot. This is also for Maki. Wow. Hater energy. Troopy's not surprised. [00:05:00] Speaker F: I thought I was going to be the outlier saying Juniper because I have my, like, Ravenswood bias. [00:05:05] Speaker C: But no, Juniper's great. [00:05:08] Speaker F: Also, Niall's murder sister I think is probably pretty hot, and I'm excited to. [00:05:13] Speaker C: See more from her. [00:05:14] Speaker D: Yeah, we'll see how hot my sister is really quickly. Just to validate. [00:05:19] Speaker E: I've gotta say Yuri's ex. [00:05:23] Speaker C: Which one exactly? [00:05:27] Speaker D: Yeah, Yuri's X. The conglomerate known as Yuri's ex has finally. [00:05:35] Speaker B: We met Oscar. Yeah. Oscar wasn't until this season. [00:05:39] Speaker C: Zazzle. [00:05:43] Speaker B: Was that it? I think that was it. Right? [00:05:45] Speaker C: I swear we rolled it at least three times. Like, between season one and two. Yeah. [00:05:51] Speaker A: It was either the poet, Oscar and I feel like there was a third. [00:05:55] Speaker C: There's definitely a third. [00:05:57] Speaker F: Or was that different? [00:05:59] Speaker C: That was the poet. [00:06:00] Speaker D: Okay. [00:06:00] Speaker A: That was the poet for certain ones. At the party, the mascara. [00:06:06] Speaker B: There was. There was two. There was Clark, who is a flesh warp, I think, engineer. They're very quirky. And then also who's like. [00:06:18] Speaker C: Like Nile in another life, basically. [00:06:21] Speaker B: Basically. Like, honestly, they're like Arrow Ace. And I think they would be really good friends with Nile. [00:06:27] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. I think they should be. [00:06:30] Speaker B: I. I think. Yeah. I just haven't had a chance to introd Introduce y'. [00:06:34] Speaker C: All. [00:06:34] Speaker B: Introduce y' all there. Ertram, who's a Minotaur librarian, was also at the masquerade. [00:06:44] Speaker C: I want to meet that. [00:06:47] Speaker B: I like her. I think I had it in my head and it is like, gone with the win. I really like, actually Lorelei a lot. Aubrey, you use them to good effect to Push near the beats. It's very fun. As much as. Also, as I was the target of this. I think you play Zoell very well. It's maybe my personal funniest moment of season two of Yuri just putting their whole foot in their mouth and Lou having to fix it and then also trauma dumping to them. [00:07:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I have a really unpopular answer. I love Bernard. [00:07:45] Speaker B: You, Barry? What do you mean? [00:07:48] Speaker C: I also love Bernard. I love Bernard. He's a sad, pathetic little man. I'm sure that's the only thing going on with him. And we could ignore all the signs to the contrary. [00:08:07] Speaker B: Sp. [00:08:08] Speaker C: Did. Oh, you did answer. You did answer. [00:08:11] Speaker E: It may have been the cough out, but it was an answer. [00:08:14] Speaker C: It was an answer. [00:08:15] Speaker D: I also, I have the most cop out answer because for legal reasons, I have to say schism. For legal reasons, technically, an NPC barely. [00:08:23] Speaker A: Counts as an npc. [00:08:25] Speaker D: I. Okay, not played by tickets. [00:08:27] Speaker C: Not played by one of us. Played by the dm. That's. [00:08:31] Speaker D: But if you want less of a cop out answer. I want Loreline to adopt me and I want Akos to treat me wrong for one night only, and then I never see him again. [00:08:41] Speaker A: Hey, in season three, you may get your wish. [00:08:44] Speaker D: Me tick. Can I materialize in the fucking. This is. Niall has. [00:08:49] Speaker B: No, you're busy in Cyrene. [00:08:51] Speaker A: You are busy in Cyrene. [00:08:54] Speaker D: Do you. [00:08:58] Speaker A: I, I. It is. It is really hard to pick, but it's. [00:09:01] Speaker C: It's. [00:09:02] Speaker A: It's torn between Whiskey Jack and Lorelei as my favorite NPCs. [00:09:06] Speaker D: Whiskey Jack is so fun. I love Whiskey Jack. [00:09:08] Speaker B: Whiskey. [00:09:11] Speaker E: Whiskey Jack was gonna be my other cop out answer, because my problem is I'm terrible with names. [00:09:19] Speaker D: That's exact. Aubrey, I want you to know I was just spacing out with my friend, thinking about OCS while walking around the other day, and I. My brain just gave me Whiskey Jack and his husband, Daniel Jackson. [00:09:33] Speaker B: Daniel. [00:09:35] Speaker D: Jack Daniels. [00:09:36] Speaker C: Jack Daniels. [00:09:37] Speaker B: Shut the fuck up. Also, I will. My honorable mention is Steinhardt, simply because for the second reaction, everyone suddenly realizing that they're a skele was great. [00:09:54] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:09:54] Speaker A: I forgot that it hadn't come up with the first time. And you know, and it's like, oh, yeah, he. He's just gonna be all bones out because it's. There's not strangers in his lap. [00:10:05] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:10:06] Speaker D: Can I. Can I also throw in an honorable mention of Rook, who has not done too much yet. But honestly, like, I just love the idea of living your circus life, getting massacred and being like, I. I can't. I can't. Die. What do I do? And then just being found. Like, honestly. Yeah, yeah. [00:10:25] Speaker C: At the circus. [00:10:27] Speaker F: Yeah, at the circus too. Lady of Thorns is such a fun idea to have. [00:10:33] Speaker D: Yeah. I hope she shows up later. [00:10:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:38] Speaker C: What's this gun doing over here? [00:10:40] Speaker D: Why is Chekhov written on it? [00:10:50] Speaker A: Somebody want to pick the next question? [00:10:53] Speaker D: Let me get the gal spreadsheet open. I was busy bullying. Listen, dms. Sorry. [00:11:02] Speaker B: Let's go with Todd's noble disrespector. They have asked a lot of good questions. I'm gonna not ask the one that's about me, but I have this one. In a movie where your character or favorite NPC for AUB was the sole main character, what would the genre be? [00:11:24] Speaker D: Let's just dungeon mesh in the movie. [00:11:30] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:11:35] Speaker D: Would be like. It would be one of those, like, cooking movies where it's like, it's a horror movie, but it's one of those things which is completely jarring where like, the cooking subsection is completely separate from the actual horrors going on. To have 10 minutes of like, the most wholesome and then the sheer whipl of like, body horror out of nowhere, and then it just goes back to it. And you're wondering, like, do these ever overlap? The tension is killing me. And the answer is they don't the same. Exactly. Okay. Feeds the people. Are they gonna pull a handball where they feed the food to people? Is it gonna be some evil twist and the real plot twist is just like. No, it's completely sane, actually. [00:12:12] Speaker B: You're just autistic. [00:12:13] Speaker D: You know, they're just autistic. Exactly. [00:12:15] Speaker A: Like Hannibal. [00:12:18] Speaker D: No, don't put me in the same group as Hannib. I think eating human meat would be interesting. Doesn't mean I actually would. Okay. [00:12:28] Speaker E: I'm actually thinking like, ooh, Constantine or John dies at the end. [00:12:43] Speaker A: Both are really good choices for Alice. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Alice there is so good. [00:12:48] Speaker C: I love that. That's really fun. [00:12:54] Speaker A: I need like $10 million right now for no reason. [00:12:59] Speaker D: No reason. You know, totally fine. [00:13:01] Speaker B: We just mousify the whole movie. [00:13:06] Speaker D: Damn. I know a few furries that be really into that. [00:13:09] Speaker C: We just need the, like the animated version of Constantine. Like the. The mouse version of Sherlock Holmes. [00:13:16] Speaker A: Yes, exactly. [00:13:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I think putting Yuri in like, like a Castlevania style, like, narrative. Like the. Like what? The nocturn. The newer. The newer animes version of it. I think like, that style of pacing and action and artistic style fits Yuri very well. [00:13:47] Speaker D: We should put Schism in a romance anime. [00:13:49] Speaker A: Yes, Schism would be great in a romance anime. [00:13:53] Speaker D: Yeah. I Mean, he already isn't a. [00:13:56] Speaker F: I mean, Lake is obviously built to be the cold city woman in a Christmas rom com. [00:14:04] Speaker C: Of course. [00:14:07] Speaker D: I was gonna say wicked. Kind of low key. Like the, like the. The play thing with the. With the green lady. [00:14:14] Speaker C: Do you see Lane as Elphaba or as Glinda or as third party? [00:14:21] Speaker D: You know who Glinda is? You know what? Pink glittery bitch. Glinda is staring directly at you just. [00:14:33] Speaker C: Cause they both wear pink. Actually, one of them just is pink. [00:14:37] Speaker D: And also very bubbly kind of. [00:14:43] Speaker C: That's a good question. That's a good question for Glinda. Is she kind? Is she good? Now he says no. [00:14:50] Speaker D: I mean, kind and good are not synonyms. [00:14:53] Speaker C: The answer is no to both. Oh, okay. Yes. But to be fair, some of that comes up in the second half. [00:15:02] Speaker D: So from what I can tell, it's like, wow, you're trying. You're kind, but you're not good at being kind. And what you say is kind of self serving. [00:15:10] Speaker C: So she's nice. [00:15:12] Speaker D: It's weaponized. Yeah, Weaponized niceness, you know? [00:15:15] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:15:16] Speaker D: Like Lou. [00:15:21] Speaker B: What would Lou be in? [00:15:25] Speaker C: Lou would love to be in a rom com, but I feel like Lou would not actually get that. I think she would end up in like. Like some. Some terrible drama where everything's going wrong, but she thinks it's a rom com. Except for the rom com isn't happening. [00:15:48] Speaker F: Lou is Cyril Karn in the second season of Andor, just doing his little domestic rom com. [00:15:59] Speaker C: There was a Hallmark movie that I don't think was an actual Hallmark movie. It was just on the Hallmark channel in Costa Rica. And I thought it was a cutesy rom com in Spanish, but it had English subtitles and it's the only one that did. And it turned out to be a terrifying horror movie. And I think that's what Lou would be in. She would be in it thinking it's a rom com. And then she would be being stalked in a weird basement with meat hooks by some lady with a stiletto heel. [00:16:32] Speaker D: Can I make a suggestion? [00:16:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:16:34] Speaker D: National Geographic Special. [00:16:38] Speaker C: Oh, like the documentary? [00:16:40] Speaker A: Not. [00:16:41] Speaker C: I thought you were going to say National Treasure. I don't know why the thinking cage. [00:16:50] Speaker A: Continues following us on adventure. [00:16:54] Speaker B: Aki says either dark fantasy, action or drama, which I think are all good. I want to see the Batman, that Robert Pattinson one, but with Gravelink. [00:17:06] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:17:10] Speaker B: That would be really good. What about you? [00:17:12] Speaker A: Well, if. If I choose Lorelei, I'm literally just remaking Six of Crows. Just. That woman is so cosbric. Or coded. [00:17:25] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:28] Speaker A: And if I choose whiskey, it's like a gothic western, you know, kind of thing. [00:17:38] Speaker C: Book of Boba Fett. I understand. [00:17:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:40] Speaker B: Ghost Rider. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Slightly banana Herb. [00:17:45] Speaker B: That's good. Thanks, everyone. [00:17:57] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:07] Speaker B: Someone should choose. Or. I'll choose again. [00:18:12] Speaker C: I'll choose. Let's see here. It's credited by a smiling devil face. And the question is. Hey, Dusty, which one of yours exes is most likely to betray them for one corn chip? [00:18:28] Speaker B: Okay, let me pull up the X list really quick. There is one that jumps to the top of my mind. Their name is Cortenza. That was not great for generally in. In general. I think Yuri left them with a bad taste in their mouth. So maybe let's say that one as I'm still planning this list. [00:19:02] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:19:03] Speaker F: Let's remind us why Yuri broke up with Artenso. [00:19:09] Speaker B: Let's see. So on the. I remember the reason they are. They are dwarf and they are noble. They also enjoy poetry. This was six years ago. They were only together about a month. Yuri broke up with them because their name was too close to their moms. [00:19:34] Speaker C: I wondered. I wondered about that. [00:19:42] Speaker B: So strange. So strange. [00:19:44] Speaker A: So strange. [00:19:46] Speaker D: First name, right? [00:19:49] Speaker B: Yes. [00:19:50] Speaker D: Thank God. [00:19:52] Speaker B: Yes. [00:19:53] Speaker D: I didn't like where this is going. I was like. [00:19:57] Speaker B: Her name is Ortena's. Mom's name is Ortencia. [00:20:04] Speaker D: Hey, how would you feel about me taking your mom's last name you don't. [00:20:08] Speaker C: Want into this family. [00:20:12] Speaker B: This is a freebie as well for Ziso because it was alluded to. And I said if anyone asked, the reason why they're so upset is because Yuri basically, essentially broke up via text. They left the city for a job because the cell also is a traveling, you know, bard poet. And so Yuri left a letter at their house saying they should see other people. So that's why they were very upset at the bookstore. [00:20:48] Speaker C: Disc. Tsk, tsk. [00:20:52] Speaker B: I'm going down the list as far as, like, other people that would be. Would. There's one called Revel. They're an actor that I think simply because, like, they just don't care about Yuri whatsoever. So they don't care about any consequences that their life would carry. [00:21:13] Speaker F: Good for them. [00:21:15] Speaker B: Yeah. They are Kitsune actor, Gaslight Gatekeep, girl boss. That they were really close to being rolled at the masquerade because they were right below one of the other people. Yeah, that. No, I think those are the most likely to betray Yuri for a single corn chip. To answer this specific question. [00:21:44] Speaker F: And which X is your Dusty's favorite? And also which X Is Yuri's favorite. [00:21:50] Speaker C: I know the answer to the second one, which may also be the answer. The first one. [00:21:57] Speaker B: Well, Yuri's favorite. If you're listening to this, it's Ertram, the Minotaur librarian. Yeah, the. I'm just gonna give you all that because it's kind of. It would be a good story beat. So there's that, I think. As far as mother from favorite one I wrote there is Torafel, who is a hobgoblin, former lamplighter, but they currently are the battle instructor at Ravenswood. They broke up because they brought in Yuri to help demonstrate fights. And someone talks shit to Yuri and Yuri knocks someone out. [00:22:46] Speaker E: Wait, so why is the Minotaur the favorite for Yuri? [00:22:51] Speaker B: Gay reasons. [00:22:55] Speaker E: Can you be more specific? I. I have no idea what that could possibly mean. [00:23:02] Speaker B: Well, you're seeing Shant. They're just like. This was the most recent X of Yuri's as well. This was like over a year ago. Yuri hasn't dated one for the past year and change. [00:23:17] Speaker E: I mean, to be fair, how do you follow up? Like a Minotaur with Niall. [00:23:25] Speaker D: Niall can do so much better. I'm just letting you know. [00:23:28] Speaker B: Yes, Niall could do better. That's what I've been saying. [00:23:31] Speaker D: Niall's literally doing better right now with the parasite actively eating his bones, which is kind of sad. [00:23:37] Speaker B: You hear that? O2 fans. [00:23:43] Speaker C: Oxygen. [00:23:45] Speaker B: This is it. This is Proxy. Specifically shout out tip name because O for Nile. Two for Yuri. You're a doe. [00:23:56] Speaker C: Okay, okay, okay. [00:24:02] Speaker B: And I'm just gonna keep the rest of this excited. Is there any other questions that we want to go around on? Let me see if Aki has a response to this. I don't think she does, no. [00:24:13] Speaker C: Because it was very last minute addition. [00:24:20] Speaker D: I wonder why. Anyways. [00:24:24] Speaker F: So Whiskey wants to know, does anyone in the party still have any secrets yet to be revealed? [00:24:30] Speaker D: We know that's you, Alyssa. [00:24:32] Speaker C: No, no. [00:24:35] Speaker F: I did not submit questions this time because I have been the depression. [00:24:40] Speaker C: I don't know anybody asked what the secrets were, just if they exist. [00:24:45] Speaker F: No, you can't see it Faris, but on my screen it says, what are the secrets? [00:24:51] Speaker C: Oh, I see. I see. Okay. I had to highlight it to get them to show up. Okay. [00:24:57] Speaker B: That's so weird. I don't see that. [00:25:00] Speaker F: Well, we know that you need new glasses, Dustin. [00:25:05] Speaker B: Wow. [00:25:06] Speaker C: I mean, if Alyssa said it, why would they lie to us? [00:25:09] Speaker D: Yeah, why? [00:25:12] Speaker F: Another case of dusty not trusting women. [00:25:16] Speaker B: I swear. Fuck. [00:25:22] Speaker D: Hell yeah. [00:25:27] Speaker B: Now, does anyone else have secrets at this point? [00:25:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:25:30] Speaker C: Yes. [00:25:32] Speaker B: Sounds Great. [00:25:33] Speaker C: Yes. [00:25:34] Speaker F: And what are they? [00:25:37] Speaker B: That's. I think that's better for the narrative. [00:25:39] Speaker C: They're secret. [00:25:40] Speaker B: My answer is also yes. [00:25:42] Speaker A: You'll learn in 4ish months in game time. [00:25:47] Speaker C: In game from the moment season two ended or in game from where we currently are in season three. [00:25:53] Speaker A: Season win or season two ended. I think that's roughly about when the end of the world is. [00:25:58] Speaker C: Oh, God, we're that far. Geez, I thought we had, like, five months. I thought we were barely two months in. [00:26:07] Speaker A: You had seven, and it's already been about three. [00:26:11] Speaker C: You know what? Maybe we don't save the world. Maybe we just all die. Sometimes a narrative is allowed to be a tragedy. [00:26:21] Speaker D: You guys can all die. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna continue to live my best life under the tyrant terrain. Tm. [00:26:27] Speaker B: Jesus. [00:26:28] Speaker D: This is a joke. This is a joke. This is a joke. [00:26:32] Speaker A: I asked the Nile betrayal arc. We all knew it was coming. [00:26:38] Speaker D: I didn't. Aubrey. What? [00:26:44] Speaker A: Oh, yes. You forgot to ask your tapeworm. [00:26:46] Speaker B: Jesus Christ. [00:26:47] Speaker D: Again. [00:26:49] Speaker C: That's. [00:26:49] Speaker D: Okay. [00:26:50] Speaker B: So that's that resounding yes. That's spark. Does Alistair still have secrets? [00:26:59] Speaker D: Probably. [00:27:00] Speaker E: But I don't know what they are. [00:27:04] Speaker A: Doesn't know what they are. [00:27:06] Speaker C: Wow. So secret. Even Sparlock doesn't know them. [00:27:10] Speaker B: Even that subconscious. [00:27:11] Speaker A: All right. [00:27:14] Speaker D: There'S another way to keep secrets away from Alyssa nowadays. Otherwise they'll pry it out of your bones. [00:27:19] Speaker B: Yeah. Someone else want to ask a question? Oh, wait, let me see. Did Aki have anything to everyone seeing the party? Aki says we have not touched, like, 80% of Grave Wing's backstory. I have so many secrets. That tracks. That tracks. [00:27:44] Speaker D: Damn. I hope the backstory is really cool. [00:27:48] Speaker B: Yeah, probably. What do you think the secrets are? Do you think there's, like, another, like. Like bat family? [00:28:00] Speaker D: Have to stop leaving these guns with a check off written on them all over the place. [00:28:03] Speaker E: Like, not only does Grave Wing, like, have a secret identity, Graveling also has an entire other family in the town over. [00:28:15] Speaker F: I want that Grave Wing secret family arc. [00:28:21] Speaker C: Whoa, Laura. I say. [00:28:24] Speaker A: That'S the secret to adopt. [00:28:30] Speaker B: All right, does anyone else want to ask? Go ahead, Tick. [00:28:36] Speaker D: I'm coming to the uncomfortable realization that if Graveling and Lorelei adopt and then adopt a bunch of children, it's just gonna be Nile's parents, and I just don't know how to cope with that in character. Please don't do this to me. [00:28:47] Speaker C: Well, I think it's too late. Wow. [00:28:49] Speaker F: You better watch those children for betrayal to make sure none of Them try and kill the other ones. [00:28:55] Speaker D: Listen, the children are not killing the parents. The children are killing each other. That's fine. I thought she started it. [00:29:03] Speaker C: Siblings. What are you gonna do, Rick? [00:29:07] Speaker A: Somebody asked the next question. [00:29:11] Speaker C: Was Whiskey Jack always a wanderer? Aubrey Leia Disrespector wishes to know. [00:29:17] Speaker A: Yes, yes, he was. He has been since the beginning. It's. It is funny because Whiskey is also another holdover from the old superhero game I I ran for Aki, Tick and a bunch of other and in that game he was also an immortal cowboy. [00:29:34] Speaker D: Wait, that wasn't. That wasn't like the fucking. That wasn't Jack, was it? The guy that everyone hated? [00:29:40] Speaker C: That was a different game. [00:29:41] Speaker D: Okay, Different Jack. Got it. I just. I was like, hold on. Please unconnect. [00:29:46] Speaker C: That was the Monster of the Week campaign that had that bastard, that jerk, that man who was going to die one day definitely by my hand. So much beef with him. [00:30:00] Speaker D: The time's gonna show up. It's gonna be Jack. Oh, we don't sm. [00:30:06] Speaker C: I'm gonna have to real fast swap characters. I'm gonna have to tag Team Ivy in from another dimension. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Don't give me ideas. [00:30:19] Speaker B: Before Arby gets more ideas, someone should go to the next question. [00:30:24] Speaker C: Barlock, you should ask one but that. [00:30:27] Speaker E: Requires actually let me see the genre. That looks like many questions. I don't know where that question begins or ends so I'll leave that to everyone. [00:31:06] Speaker C: What about what mystery secrets or insights does Alistair hope to discover in the Wizard Tower? By Monroe and its follow up question Does Alistair have any living relatives? [00:31:20] Speaker F: Were you hoping to find a secret family in the Wizard Tower? [00:31:26] Speaker E: Yeah, no, I may. No, there definitely wasn't a secret family in the Wizard Tower. There's some cousins. Like I know there's some cousins but Alistair definitely doesn't have any close family. I want to say just I don't think that personality type work. If he was completely stable and had a loving family, I don't think he would have ended up the way that he is. [00:32:08] Speaker B: Hey. [00:32:12] Speaker D: Loving family. Thank you very much. Now look at it. [00:32:15] Speaker E: But I mean rap folks have huge like huge families. So there's the cousins. [00:32:23] Speaker C: Which. [00:32:25] Speaker E: And as far as mysteries, secrets or insights. Currently Alistair is looking into the ELD as his current area of research. He's a little bit eclectic so it varies from whatever strikes his fantasy and he is still after the unified magical theory to bring together all magic. [00:33:15] Speaker D: Maybe the real unified theory is the friends we made along the way. [00:33:22] Speaker B: All right, all right. [00:33:26] Speaker C: Take. [00:33:27] Speaker B: Have you asked a question Yet I. [00:33:29] Speaker D: Have not asked a question yet. Hold on. How can I bully Alyssa? [00:33:35] Speaker B: Well, there is someone named Latte Disrespector. [00:33:39] Speaker D: So there is. [00:33:43] Speaker C: Let's see. [00:33:47] Speaker D: Oh, no, hold on. I'm taking out a gun with this one for Ferris and Alyssa. How does it feel to have life and Alouette be able to finally have moments of intimacy? Even if subtle or minor? Is it nice not having every conversation be a complete disaster? Tell me about that one a little bit, if that's all right with you. [00:34:01] Speaker C: Hey, why am I being targeted? If you just want to go after Alyssa? [00:34:04] Speaker D: Aoe, not my fault. [00:34:07] Speaker C: Thank you, Proxy, for asking this question. [00:34:13] Speaker F: What's your answer, Faris? [00:34:15] Speaker D: You first, Alyssa. [00:34:18] Speaker F: No, I mean, I think that they are being a little more open, but I think that Leith still does not. Is sort of does not trust the circumstances in that we are at the end of the world and thinks that Lou is sort of just doing whatever because she thinks all going to die. And so even if we do save the world, like afterwards, Lou will not want her and will realize it was a horrible mistake. So that's where Leith's at. So she's sort of trying to balance between being in the moment and not doing too much that we will regret. [00:34:57] Speaker C: I don't think I have to follow up that. How can you follow that up? I mean, yeah, it's nice that not every question is a complete disaster, but also, I don't think that's happened yet. So I don't know what season you listen to Proxy, but I don't think they've had a question, a conversation not end in some kind of misunderstanding or worse, complete miss of signals. [00:35:30] Speaker B: There was the signet ring conversation. That was pretty gay. [00:35:34] Speaker C: And what did they get out of that? Did they understand the significance of their own conversation? [00:35:40] Speaker B: No, look, look, I'm trying for proximity. It was a moment of trying. [00:35:45] Speaker C: It was a moment of intimacy, but. [00:35:48] Speaker F: It was artifice because it's just for this lie about us being engaged. So it doesn't actually mean anything. [00:35:54] Speaker C: It doesn't mean anything. I think that the day that they are able to have a conversation that is without pretense, miscommunication or willful misinterpretation is the day one of them dies. [00:36:12] Speaker B: Jesus Christ. [00:36:16] Speaker F: And looking at her health, you know which one it's gonna be? [00:36:21] Speaker C: I don't know. One of us just got kidnapped by a bird screaming and dropped a pit. [00:36:28] Speaker F: It's your mom. She wouldn't kill you. Kids kill moms, not moms kill kids. [00:36:34] Speaker B: I guess in Todd's. That's kind of true. For now, at least now. [00:36:43] Speaker A: At least as far as you're all aware. [00:36:48] Speaker B: Jesus. What? [00:36:49] Speaker C: Thanks, Aubrey. Aubrey. Meanwhile, planning a terrible murder. [00:36:59] Speaker B: Aubrey, why don't you go get one now? [00:37:01] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Is there is from Todd's nobles disrespector. Is there anything the tyrants, cultists, or the tyrants itself could offer your character that would cause them to betray anathema. [00:37:23] Speaker D: At this point? Like three corn. I'm kidding. [00:37:28] Speaker B: Deal. [00:37:36] Speaker D: I want to go first. [00:37:41] Speaker B: Why? [00:37:43] Speaker D: Because my answer is a little sad. [00:37:49] Speaker B: Let me. Let me. Let me read Augies to set the tone. They could offer nothing at all. They would have to take something from Gray Wing. And even then, she is just a relentlessly strong pillar. So we know that answer. Tick now. Be sad. [00:38:12] Speaker D: Well, the thing about them is inherently, they do kind of want to, like, cause the end of the world, so probably not. But Niall is kind of, like, doing his best to assure his survival. So if this becomes truly the losing team and there is more of a chance for both of them is because I'm just survive the betrayal. It's kind of like a seeing who wins type of situation. You know, survival of the surviving, but also the world that the tyrant wants to build is not as appealing as the world that this group wants to build. So it's like, well, if we're losing, like, really badly and we are, like, genuinely cooked, I'm leaving heart emoji, you know, I'm prioritizing myself. You know, my. I'm moisturized in my own fucking lane, you know? I guess that makes it more reliable in a sense, because it's pretty clear how long they'll stick around for compared to, like, well, I'll stick up to the very end, no matter what, with, like, this impassioned, blazing speech. But you never know what someone will do in the moment. And I was like, I'm gonna stick around as I'm confident that I will continue to be able to live and do what I want to do here. Like, I'm pretty clear with that. Like, what am I gonna do? [00:39:12] Speaker C: Does that mean Niall would return if the tide shifted back towards anathema? Like, if we started losing really bad and Niall switched sides, but then suddenly we had an underdog story and came back with Niall also be like, never mind. [00:39:28] Speaker D: No, they wouldn't leave. Only if it was, like, a situation where, like, genuinely there wouldn't be coming back. If there was coming back, they'd be like, I'm just gonna stay out of it. Like, respectfully the path where I stay out of it is the best one. I will help this side because right now it is doing pretty. Like, technically, we're already underdogs. Right now they are. Everyone is keeping Nile alive, and now it's keeping everyone alive in turn. If that changes, then who knows? You know, if you guys are suddenly like, actually, this guy's a cannibal, raising my eyebrow emoji, it's like, well, loyalty is a suggestion. No, I'm kidding a little bit on the last part, but you know what I mean. Why does Dusty hate women? Oh, that was earlier. [00:40:08] Speaker C: Never mind. [00:40:10] Speaker B: Excuse me. [00:40:11] Speaker F: Dusty hate women. What a good question. Tick, listen here. [00:40:18] Speaker D: Okay? [00:40:19] Speaker B: I do not. This is. This is. [00:40:23] Speaker C: I like that Tick asked that and was also one of the people who hit the newspaper against the comments, like, just whacking them on the head. Why do you hate women, Dusty? [00:40:38] Speaker D: This is actually not the season two Q&A. This is an intervention. [00:40:44] Speaker B: I hate it here. I'm being gaslit. [00:40:49] Speaker C: Well, yeah, you're being bullied. [00:40:52] Speaker B: This is. Alyssa left this message, by the way, the non binary person who's giggling in the corner over there. [00:41:03] Speaker A: Quick, somebody read a question to distract them. [00:41:09] Speaker C: Oh, go ahead. No, no, you. You ask. [00:41:12] Speaker F: Speak from Mon Ramonda. Tick, how did. Did you already ask how Nism fell for each other? No, Tick, how did Niall and Schism fall for each other? [00:41:29] Speaker D: I didn't talk to Aubrey about this. I'm going to spitball something and hope that Aubrey doesn't guillotine me. Honestly, Niall is a very blunt person. I think they just realized they were stuck together for eternity and then just kind of started hanging out, dating. And they were like, yeah, you seem like a suitable person to date. We have general compatibility and we're literally stuck together for life. This works out, you know, not very romantic, but it's very blunt. And Niall is literally sacrificing their entire body to Schism at any opportunity. So quite frankly, it's kind of more romantic than whatever Leia has going on, so. And Yuri, 17 X's. So. [00:42:04] Speaker B: Excuse me, 21. [00:42:06] Speaker C: It's very 21 now. [00:42:09] Speaker D: 21. [00:42:13] Speaker B: I didn't need to change that because one was added. [00:42:17] Speaker D: Stop adding X's while we're trying to do the plot. Holy shit, man. [00:42:22] Speaker C: Very dating in the background. [00:42:25] Speaker D: Sorry, gamer. [00:42:27] Speaker C: No, I know who you're talking about. [00:42:29] Speaker B: Now, how do you. How. [00:42:32] Speaker C: How. [00:42:33] Speaker B: How do you go on dates? [00:42:37] Speaker D: I've been on a date in my. Actually, I've been on a date or. [00:42:39] Speaker B: Two before, but I meant specifically, how does Schism and Niall, who are stuck together, go on dates. What does a date look like? I need to know. [00:42:50] Speaker C: Same way Eddie Brock does it. [00:42:52] Speaker D: I mean, killing people is very romantic nowadays. Haven't you heard? [00:42:58] Speaker C: Hmm. [00:42:59] Speaker A: I think I read a book that went that way. [00:43:03] Speaker D: Yeah, but just, you know, being able to chat, relax, kind of figuring out, hey, we get along, we're stuck together, we're both gay, why not heart emoji? Nial's kind of a bit of a blunt type of person anyway, so it's like, well, this works. But deep down, it's like. It's the type of thing where it's like, yeah, you can tell this person is, like, doing their damnedest to be somewhat, like, charming and romantic, even though they're really bad at it, because sometimes people have autism. I'm projecting. I'm projecting. Okay, shut up. God forbid a man project his autism onto his characters. [00:43:37] Speaker C: God did forbid that. [00:43:40] Speaker D: Yeah, not those cost. Because stuff sometimes, but I don't know how Schism flirts. I don't think Schism's ever flirted before in the vicinity of this game. [00:43:50] Speaker B: Aubrey. [00:43:52] Speaker D: Aubrey. How does Schism flirt? [00:43:56] Speaker A: How he's usually been doing it this entire time. [00:44:00] Speaker C: I was gonna say both of these. [00:44:03] Speaker D: Guys are just like, man, they're like a married couple. They're beyond the stage of terrible honeymoon flirting. You're like, yeah, this is what it is, you know? [00:44:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Schism is a parasitic entity from another dimension, and he's gay. [00:44:20] Speaker F: Okay, so if Niall and Schism were able to separate without either of them dying, would they still be romantically involved? [00:44:32] Speaker D: Oh, that's a good question. Now we'll probably just sit him down and talk about it. Like, definitely. They've known each other for a long time. Now would be down even if they weren't physically bound to each other. But that does depend on what Schism wants and what Schism would do totally fine either way type of thing. [00:44:48] Speaker C: Consider Nihil and Schism a marriage of convenience. Hmm. [00:44:55] Speaker D: I guess. Partially. You see, there's inappropriate things I'd love to say, but I think the censors will kill me. The censors being Aubrey. [00:45:08] Speaker B: Okay, to move away from this, I'm gonna ask the one from wondering if giant birds could be milfy. [00:45:18] Speaker D: Yes. [00:45:26] Speaker B: This question. The kidnapping led me to wonder if the rescue parties were switched. Were switched up, how would dumi xlu our estray xlaithe function? Also, what would the party's reactions to rescuing being rescued be? Being rescued by the wrong people would be. [00:45:49] Speaker C: I would argue we've done the latter when we got rescued from prison by Akos and we were none too pleased about it. [00:45:59] Speaker B: This is true. [00:46:03] Speaker F: Doomy Lou would be super cute. Arguably better. [00:46:08] Speaker C: So is the. Is it. Is it like if Doomy and Lou were a couple. [00:46:14] Speaker D: I ship it. [00:46:15] Speaker C: I guess I don't understand the question. [00:46:21] Speaker A: If it was like. [00:46:29] Speaker F: So yeah, I was reading it as like something happened and Leith ended up rescuing Estrella and Doomy ended up rescuing Lou. [00:46:38] Speaker C: But. Okay, that makes sense. Okay, that makes sense. Cross. Cross universe. Cross universe crossover. Yeah. [00:46:51] Speaker A: Suddenly we're playing interstitial. Grab your dice. [00:46:59] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I think do me would definitely do me. She's been on the rescue mission before. She'll do it again baby at the. [00:47:10] Speaker B: End of season two. [00:47:14] Speaker C: Now I'm on the opposite side of that. [00:47:17] Speaker A: So. [00:47:17] Speaker C: I mean, I think. I think she just launch a rescue party. Honestly, she wouldn't have to wait for anything. She could just dive straight in because she's got bat wings and she can do a uno reverse on the big bird. [00:47:38] Speaker D: Who the fuck up in TCG pocket. [00:47:43] Speaker E: Notifications. [00:47:47] Speaker B: I would love to see Doomy doing a pile driver on Lou's mom. [00:47:55] Speaker C: Doobie's not afraid to beat up a mother. She'll beat up your mom. She's not afraid to beat up a mother's mom. Should beat up the stray's mom. No, she respects the stray's mom. But she did. She did not trust her for a hot minute. She'll beat a Blaze mom. [00:48:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Aki's response is. Do you all remember when you rescued Estrella? Your first time seeing her is with a giant pink dragon. Anathema is going to shit their pants. Also I think to me. So it would be very confused because it was a pink bird bar. Like Lou just might be a Demisa baby. For real. Dumea baby Fr. [00:48:37] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. She has all the markings of a Duma baby. [00:48:43] Speaker B: This is true. This is true. [00:48:49] Speaker D: Tension. [00:48:50] Speaker C: What would Leith do if Lace was rescuing. I guess Estrella or vice versa being rescued by Australia? [00:48:57] Speaker F: I mean, I feel like Leith and fake Astraea would have gotten along great. So maybe we don't do the rescuing. May just length and talon hook up. [00:49:11] Speaker A: Now that tracks. [00:49:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:49:16] Speaker C: Terrible. I can't even argue with it though. [00:49:22] Speaker D: I can. That's a spoiler. [00:49:26] Speaker B: All right, someone else go next. [00:49:32] Speaker C: Modern. So much new Pathfinder content out since you first made these characters. Are there any new. New abilities you're eyeing through your characters that weren't there when you originally Conceptual. Hold on, I gotta scroll. I gotta. It won't let me scroll. I assume it says conceptualize them, but it's cut off for me. [00:49:50] Speaker A: So, yeah, thinking about blood magic and lathe, for example, was the rest of the question. [00:49:56] Speaker C: Ah, thank you. [00:49:58] Speaker F: Yeah. So I. I, Alyssa, love blood magic. I think that I like Laith being non magical, but if she were to get any magic in upcoming things, I think that like the Sanguine Mancer or whatever it is would be the way to do it. Where you basically get a separate pool of hit points and use that and can drain it from enemies. Because I think that fits well with her being a Dhampir too. The one that I'm really excited for is not my character, but it's. I think Yuri should take Guardian as an archetype. This is not only because I fall in conflict combat, every combat. I think it also suits them, but also, please, I have negative one con. Someone save me. [00:50:45] Speaker D: That's a you problem. [00:50:49] Speaker A: With a monster. And you go down. And I'm like, yeah, everybody else will take this hit. No, you're down. And I'm like, okay. [00:50:56] Speaker B: No, this is true. Alyssa's the one that showed me that new Guardian stuff. That time recording just came out. It is incredibly. You're a dog coded just of like how Yuri's kind of been. Like the tank generally already. Like, I'll take a crit and then go down, but I'll still take that crit. Guardian Guardian has really fun stuff. Like you could taunt people. You get an extra reaction every turn. Like Yuri getting two attack of opportunities would be just like disastrous for the other people. So, like, that's something that I don't know if it fits into their build currently, but I think it'll be like. It would have been a very fun choice to do like. Like a Blood Hunter Guardian mix. [00:51:49] Speaker F: Yeah. It's actually really funny because before Leif, the character build that I had in mind before Leith sort of solidified was a homebrew magus that was sort of trying to do what the Guardian does, like with a taunt mechanic and things like that. I'm basically doing Lifelink to take damage from other people. So, yeah, anyway, Guardians are cool. I'm playing one in a home game. [00:52:15] Speaker C: And I'm very excited. [00:52:19] Speaker E: Is this the question that's cutting off? [00:52:24] Speaker C: Yes. Oh, I can't lose it over. I was going to be like, if I just make the. The column wider, but I don't have that power. [00:52:34] Speaker B: You could. You could double click it and it will show up. Thank you, Alyssa. But it's in our inline Chat now. Because Alyssa. [00:52:44] Speaker E: I. I am apparently behind the times. I didn't know that this was a thing I've not heard of. [00:52:56] Speaker F: You know, actually Spark for Alastair. One of the other new classes that came out with the Guardian is the Commander, which is. And it's basically you can use your actions to tell other people to do things and they get bonuses for doing them. Which I think actually could be cool for Alistair. [00:53:16] Speaker B: Yeah. Because it's like, literally you get playbooks, like moves that you could like. They tell two people you have two allies go attack them, and your allies instantly get a reaction to go do that. [00:53:29] Speaker C: That's cool. [00:53:32] Speaker E: So did I like Ms. Paizokan when I was playing in a musical or something? [00:53:39] Speaker B: Well, since we've started, they released about like, I think three books, if not more. [00:53:44] Speaker A: Since we've started. Yeah. [00:53:46] Speaker B: Todd's. [00:53:47] Speaker E: Oh, Battle Cry. [00:53:48] Speaker A: Yeah, Battle Cry. [00:53:50] Speaker B: That's when I just came out. [00:53:51] Speaker A: That one. That one also snuck up on me. I didn't realize it had come out until everybody was posting in the server. Got the Battle Cry book. Like, that's out. [00:53:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Because they. They did around Gen Con, which just passed. [00:54:02] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:54:02] Speaker A: I was distracted by Starfinder. [00:54:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Because Starfighter is also there. Starfinder's so cool. Yeah. [00:54:10] Speaker E: I've been otherwise occupied. But I will say, like, the remaster did so much for Alistair and like, it really helped. Like, the. What is the. The feat from the remastered Investigator. The. The Suspect of Opportunity. [00:54:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:54:42] Speaker A: Where you can just like that one's. [00:54:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:54:45] Speaker E: That was a absolute game changer. I'm gonna. Apparently I have to look at the Battle Cry stuff because I've completely missed. [00:54:57] Speaker B: Did just come out, but I think you should look at Commander. Like, this is right. Like, it would be very Alistair coded. [00:55:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:55:07] Speaker B: What about Ferris or Tick? [00:55:12] Speaker C: You go. [00:55:13] Speaker D: I was gonna say, not particularly. I tend to just kind of pick stuff that fits. I see something cooking related, I'm like, ooh, cooking. But I haven't had a lot of time to sit down with everything from pie though, nowadays, because there's just a lot of stuff coming out. And I'm like, wow, furry Cons, huh? Am I right or am I right? [00:55:28] Speaker F: I mean, there's literally a wandering chef archetype now. [00:55:33] Speaker D: You see, there's so much cool shit now that I'm definitely happy. [00:55:37] Speaker C: I also have no idea when anything. Like, I'll see stuff pop up where everyone's really excited. I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about, but I hope you're happy. So I don't know if I'm not actively playing the character or creating a character that I know nothing that's happening in the Pathfinder. Jesus. I don't even know the name of the game. [00:56:02] Speaker B: So. [00:56:04] Speaker C: No, because my ignorance saves me from wanting to remake my character this time, which is great because I did have that last time and so it's nice to not have that this time. But also, if I were to remake her at all, it would defeat the purpose of her being bad at stuff. So she's had a lot of time. She has to be bad for a while. Sorry, Lou. [00:56:30] Speaker F: There's also. I'm looking now just like at the archetypes that are introduced in Battlecry and there's a field propagandist which I think might just be late. [00:56:40] Speaker B: Yeah, it does look like Aki didn't get to this question, so. Because I don't see it on her sheets. [00:56:48] Speaker C: So, yeah, I was scared. [00:56:50] Speaker D: I didn't answer because Grampling is perfect just the way she is. Send tweet. [00:56:54] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Send. Send tweet. Ari, is there anything that you got excited about from the new stuff? [00:57:03] Speaker A: There's a lot I need to look at the battle cry stuff. But like, you know, it's always fun to pull new monsters and stuff from. And then. Yeah, as I said, I've been very distracted with Starfinder and just reading over that and just being like, hey, hey, hey, future plans. [00:57:24] Speaker B: I'm bapping you gently with a newspaper because we still have at least one season. This is. [00:57:31] Speaker A: This is like. This is about that. This long into Bach was about the time I started writing Todd. So, you know, that's. [00:57:38] Speaker B: I'm. [00:57:38] Speaker A: I'm, you know, roughly about the same amount of time. [00:57:45] Speaker C: I have questions for Dusty. [00:57:47] Speaker B: Oh, dear. [00:57:49] Speaker C: Monro wants to know about before the events of the night, Yordo is taken to the Lark Estate. Did Yuri ever suspect foul play with his father being sick? And also from Proxy, what were you planning to do if you had escaped your burning mansion and kind of go together? So. [00:58:08] Speaker B: I believe for Yuri, yes, they suspect the foul play. Maybe not to that extent. They're like, I. I've tried to play it off for your Yuri as does not like clearly like less so now doesn't never really have a good like, relationship with her with just because, like, you know, that's why they're on the first name basis, not a mom basis. Like there's like some distrust and like I think it came up a bit when there was like Lou and Yuri were talking and Yuri is Like, well, my dad takes these pills that the mom makes and so help slow the transformation. And so, like, I don't think he clearly trusted that at all as far as what Yuri was going to do. I don't think he was thinking that far ahead at this point. Like, he was taking everything he could. I was taking everything I could. Because a lot of that was, like, Aubrey and I talked beforehand. I knew that I was gonna get in trouble that night. I didn't know the extent of the trouble that Yuri was getting into. [00:59:28] Speaker A: Yuri could have run at any time. [00:59:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was. It was right in that house. And this was, like, the first time I decided to actually go to that study. But one of the things, like, it would have probably been, like, doesn't matter what time. Try to find Hortensia and confront them. Like, I don't know if it would have gone to violence. I don't think it would have. It might have. Yuri was really mad. But then they got their ass beat, like, a lot. And listening back, I forgot that I got in that one and took myself out. [01:00:07] Speaker A: That was the hilarious part. [01:00:10] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. So, like, initially, that my plan initially, before finding any evidence, Yuri's gonna go there, get some info, and then find if there was, like, whatever substantiating information. I was also gonna go confront Barry as well, so. [01:00:29] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. Follow up. Follow up question for Aubrey is, how much did Yuri getting captured and the inquisition being launched change your plans for the masquerade from Todd's noble disrespector? [01:00:44] Speaker A: It just really honestly escalated it. It was, you know, it was like, okay, I have this plan. Okay, we're here now. It's rather than me being at, like, a six. We read an 11. [01:00:56] Speaker D: Fair. [01:00:57] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [01:01:00] Speaker A: But it worked in the story very well and served things exactly how I needed them to. [01:01:11] Speaker C: I think we only have, like, three questions left. [01:01:18] Speaker A: Possibly. [01:01:26] Speaker B: They asked a lot of questions. Here's a fun one. I know Aki answered from them. How did Graving and Lorelei meet? Follow up. [01:01:35] Speaker D: Up. [01:01:35] Speaker B: Do Graving and Lace still read smart books together? If so, what were the titles? So I'll answer the first one on Aki's behalf, and then we'll get to the second one. The tldr of it is Lorelei looked for High Priest, Misery's Killer, and was very surprised to see a tiny girl beating the out of people twice her size in the illegal fighting ring. Yes, there is also. There's a very slow fan fanatic, I think fanfic about this Being either fanfic or animatic. [01:02:09] Speaker C: Fanimatic, fanimatic, who knows? [01:02:15] Speaker B: And then do graving. And they still read sweat books together. If so, what were the titles? Alyssa? [01:02:20] Speaker F: I do not have titles. And I think that they probably are not. If Graveling asked, then Lathe would. But Lorelai. One, Lorelai is around now. And two, after Grave Wing was basically like, I could not care less about you and your sister when we were making the decision about whether to rescue Nadia. Like, Leith is just sort of trying to keep her on side now, but has lost a lot of the warm feeling she was feeling to her prior to that. [01:02:53] Speaker B: So the. The blanket. The gay wall is being built again? [01:02:59] Speaker F: Well, no, because Leif got kicked out of the bedroom. It's Lorelei and Grapevine's bedroom now, right? [01:03:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Didn't. Didn't I say something? That you could take Gary's room or some. [01:03:09] Speaker F: Yeah, okay. [01:03:12] Speaker B: Oh yeah, because here we had the wrong room. Aku's response is, I don't know, Alyssa, do we? [01:03:20] Speaker F: No, you hurt my feelings. So we go on your read together. [01:03:24] Speaker B: And then I think we left off at a spicy cliffhanger, to be honest. So no book titles as well? Sorry, Monrovananda. I'm sorry. [01:03:35] Speaker A: I'm pretty sure that the books that you have are in the. The Knoxlight inventory, Doc. [01:03:40] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, they definitely are. [01:03:44] Speaker A: I keep a lot of really good title generators on hand because you all could like to like just grab random books and be like, what's this called? [01:03:51] Speaker C: And I'm like, we're big readers, Aubrey, what do you want from us? Since we're going through all the Monrondo ones. What made you decide to introduce the Tyrant and the Dream at the start of season two? [01:04:07] Speaker A: It was always the plan, especially as like I wanted to. Especially because with Todd's, I wanted it to be a. I did not want the story to be as long as Bach was and sort of Bach probably the play. Like we didn't really track dates too much, but it probably took the course of in game a couple of years. And the idea is with Tod's is like literally you are on the precipice of the end and what do you do to pull the world back from that? And so yeah, you start seven months away from the end of the world. The tyrant wants the world to end. The tyrant wants to feed on the world and become stronger. Immediately these people are a threat to that. So the tyrant is immediately going to show up and try and put a stop to that threat because you all teamed up with the one person who might know how to stop. Stop him. [01:05:17] Speaker C: We haven't talked to that man in a while. [01:05:19] Speaker B: Damn it. [01:05:21] Speaker C: We gave him an arm and we have not seen him since. [01:05:25] Speaker A: He'd go to the other side of the world. It takes a bit of time. [01:05:28] Speaker C: I don't think he's coming back. [01:05:35] Speaker B: Finishing off Monrondo's questorinos. How does Alouette feel about her family situation now that she's connected to one of her sisters? [01:05:47] Speaker C: Worse. Definitely not feeling great about things. I can't say more about this. [01:06:03] Speaker B: Peregrine is cool. [01:06:05] Speaker C: She likes Peregrine. Peregrine's awesome. But sure does. [01:06:10] Speaker A: When we record this 13 episodes into recording season two or season two, we're that far in. [01:06:18] Speaker C: Let's just say Peregrine is pretty cool. So far. I say so far because I don't know. I don't know how long the coolness will last. But I'm hopeful. It is a permanent coolness. But also puts into perspective some things about her childhood. Which makes the childhood seem perhaps, in retrospect, not great. Who knew? She sure didn't. And then maybe there are some things that happen in season three already that also may be part of this question. We'll see. There's a little teaser for you. Little teaser. [01:07:04] Speaker B: I think with. With that, I think is that all. [01:07:07] Speaker C: The questions only other questions are Freaky Friday and Rogue Tradership. But I don't know how many of us can answer the rogue Trader ship except Aubrey and Aki. [01:07:18] Speaker B: I don't know anything about Rogue Trader. But thank you for asking. [01:07:22] Speaker C: It's a video game. [01:07:24] Speaker B: I think so. [01:07:26] Speaker A: I mean, I think the Freaky Friday one is a pretty good question to end off with. Okay, what would your PC learn and what other PC would your character learn the most from if the two of you. Freaky Friday. [01:07:38] Speaker B: Awesome. From Todd. [01:07:40] Speaker D: I didn't know I had to ask my friend what Freaky Friday was because I was reading the question. I was like, lindsay, what's Freaky Friday? And she was like, oh, it's like when the mom and the child get. I was like, thank you. Thank you, Lindsay. [01:07:50] Speaker B: It's. It's the first body swapped IRL anime. [01:07:55] Speaker A: It's not even that piece. It's a remake. [01:08:01] Speaker C: And now I have sequel. [01:08:04] Speaker B: Oh, gosh. Yeah. [01:08:07] Speaker C: So yeah, I do have to admit. [01:08:09] Speaker A: I really love to see Alistair and Nile swap places. [01:08:13] Speaker D: Yes, Aubrey. Listen, Aubrey, what do you mean you'd love to see? You're the dm. You can pull anything out of your ass. Do it do it. No balls. [01:08:24] Speaker C: Like body swap episode. [01:08:28] Speaker B: God. [01:08:31] Speaker A: I will say I have listened to an AP that did a body swap episode and it was the funniest thing ever of everybody else pretending to be everybody else. [01:08:39] Speaker C: That would be our version of the beach episode. We don't have a beach, so we can have a body swap instead. Same energy. Right, Right. [01:08:53] Speaker B: I think for me, I think the funniest would be Yuri and Alistair being body swapped. [01:09:05] Speaker C: What is tall? [01:09:06] Speaker F: What is small? [01:09:08] Speaker B: No, no, no. Yuri's not tall. They're just taller than Alistair. Remember Short King, 5 foot 4? [01:09:15] Speaker D: No. Nile's the tallest one in the party. I think other than gravel with a tail. Yeah. [01:09:21] Speaker C: I think it's Nile the lace in the height. Height corner. Not counting monster forms of anybody, which gets the height chart a little. [01:09:29] Speaker B: This is true. Yeah. [01:09:30] Speaker C: Confusing. I don't think it would help if Lays and Luz got Freaky Friday because they're not getting the internal thoughts, so they would simply be the same thing. [01:09:48] Speaker A: Really. [01:09:48] Speaker C: But yeah, truly would make zero difference to them. [01:09:52] Speaker B: I think Lathan Gravewing would be hilarious. [01:09:58] Speaker C: That would be funny. I feel like the cousin should swap just because I want to see Yuri having to ring bells and throw cards at people. I want to see Yuri trying to be a thaumaturge and like, looking at the bag full of random crap and being like, what does any of this mean? What do you mean? All of your abilities come from what you pull out of a bag. [01:10:24] Speaker B: This is not how you kill monsters. [01:10:27] Speaker D: What do you mean? [01:10:28] Speaker C: It only works sometimes. [01:10:31] Speaker D: Honestly, whoever bought yourself with Nile is fine because Schism is the one that does all the magic anyways. [01:10:37] Speaker C: Which also, yeah, it's like coming with like a. With like a built in secretary. [01:10:43] Speaker D: So, like, Nile's body is very weird. I really want her body swaps with them to learn, like, why. Why do you breathe out of these holes? Why do you have so many. [01:10:57] Speaker C: What the. [01:10:58] Speaker D: Why? Why does my back hurt like it's feeling drained? Why do I feel like, why does my body feel so weird? Why can I hear an internal mind log? Schism, Is that you? [01:11:10] Speaker B: Thank you. Thank you. I understood that reference. [01:11:13] Speaker D: Thank God. Thank you. Thank you so much. [01:11:17] Speaker B: I would say Aki did. So let me read Aki's answer. Graveling would get to experience what it's like to just live normally for a day. And Estrella would gladly do it for her. Like, she'd be like, here, have some time to vacate by the sea in my hometown. I'll use my vacation days for you. And then gravy would find out. Australia essentially the star, mother and Seas. [01:11:41] Speaker C: I didn't think about cross campaign swapping. [01:11:44] Speaker D: True. That is clever. That brings a whole new. [01:11:48] Speaker A: Places. [01:11:50] Speaker C: Wait, who in Dumisa that would be. Listen, there'd be a whole another set of problems in Knox Light, but they would be getting solved, I think. [01:12:03] Speaker B: I think just mechanically the closest Doomy and Yuri. Yeah, because Yuri's basically this close to a barbarian anyways. [01:12:16] Speaker C: It's also like, I think it's unfair to swap Knox like characters with siren characters, because the siren characters, they're retired. They did it. They're done. Their problems are handled like, yeah, they've got jobs now, but like their big problems handled versus the Knox Light people who are like in the middle of a nightmare. So it's like if we bring the gods over, then they'd be like, got it. Just gotta eat another one. No biggie. And they handle it versus all of the Noxite characters who are like, they haven't seen the sun ever and they're gonna have a panic attack the moment they hit Sirene. [01:12:53] Speaker D: They stare at the sun and burn their eyes. [01:12:55] Speaker C: Yeah, they're gonna go. They're gonna land in Cyrene and just like, just lie face down on a beach for like six hours. [01:13:04] Speaker B: Didn't we answer this in the first Q A? I think we did, actually. I think it's like a little different vibes at this point than the end of season one. The end of season one? Nowhere near. [01:13:20] Speaker C: Did you say my name? [01:13:21] Speaker D: Yeah, I did. I was about to say the Nyle and Demisa body slap would be funny because Demisa gets another disembodied voice. Just. [01:13:29] Speaker C: She'd be like the least concerned about it. There'd be a voice and she'd be like, I've got a sister. I've got a half sibling, brother, secret brother. Just relatives. [01:13:42] Speaker B: What do you need to eat, people? Is that fine here? Sure. [01:13:47] Speaker C: Have you ever had onion soup? Also, Schism will be going from one cook to another. True Scum's type is just confused. [01:13:59] Speaker D: Nyla Demis's body would have all of the height and all of the muscle to cook so much stuff at once. Just be like, oh, my God, do you know how much I could cook? I want a one shot with a nylon Dumisa cook off. I've been wanting this forever. I know. But she can leave for one goddamn minute. And the premise that my brain was cooking is like, dumisa stats for cooking are like, pretty good. But I think Niall's like, min Max into it. [01:14:21] Speaker C: Hers are not that great. She's like trained and that's it. [01:14:25] Speaker D: Okay. It's a two parter. Hear me out. The first part is each group of like things are gathering ingredients and everything for the dish. And then the second section is them actually cooking the dish. [01:14:39] Speaker C: Question though. Are our party members allowed to cheat with the cooking? [01:14:44] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:14:45] Speaker C: I win. [01:14:46] Speaker D: I have this way up. [01:14:47] Speaker C: I win. [01:14:47] Speaker D: If they can get away with it, it. [01:14:50] Speaker C: I win. [01:14:51] Speaker B: I think. Yeah. My girlfriend beats your girlfriend. [01:14:58] Speaker C: Then. [01:14:58] Speaker A: I, I, I had the most first thought for. For bot swamp. [01:15:04] Speaker C: What? Speak. [01:15:05] Speaker A: It's Akos and Heron. [01:15:10] Speaker D: No. [01:15:10] Speaker B: That. [01:15:12] Speaker D: Why are you just swapping the two men that I want to violate me in all the wrong ways. Don't do this to me. [01:15:17] Speaker C: Somewhere Dumisa is like celebrating. [01:15:23] Speaker A: I don't know. Akos might be worse. [01:15:26] Speaker C: Yeah. But she doesn't have a personal grudge against him. [01:15:31] Speaker B: Lou engraving would also be funny. [01:15:34] Speaker C: That would be. Yeah. I don't think Lou knows how to punish people. [01:15:39] Speaker B: I think. [01:15:39] Speaker C: But I think Lou's stuff would. Would work well with grave wing superstition if she knows how to use it. [01:15:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Because like, I think we've. We've confirmed previously that gray wing does have like some superstitions already. [01:15:54] Speaker C: So I think it would also be fun for Graveling to experience the bird because it's very different from her snake form because she has full control over her snake form and it's just like another. It is her. It's just another way of looking versus the bird form which is like involuntary and not fully Lou. So I think it would be interesting for them to experience those different shape changes. [01:16:18] Speaker B: The. The cousin swap with the curse as well. Be very interesting. Would Lou just lose their shit as Yuri? [01:16:28] Speaker C: Probably. [01:16:29] Speaker D: She. [01:16:29] Speaker C: She barely has her own bird under control and Yuri seems worse. [01:16:37] Speaker B: There's a reason they haven't done it for a lot of season two. [01:16:41] Speaker C: Yuri seems like. Like they have it under control. Also just seems like the more volatile transformation in general. [01:16:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:16:55] Speaker C: Versus lose, which does 1d4 damage. So. [01:17:00] Speaker B: Yeah. No, you're the. The stag transformation. I mentioned it before. Yuri's. All of Yuri's bones break and regrow and vice versa once they revert back. So though. [01:17:12] Speaker D: Oh, it's just like animorphs. [01:17:14] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:17:14] Speaker A: It's like lighter because, you know, hollow bones. [01:17:17] Speaker C: Yeah. Her knees do. Not her knees. But like her ankles do the little bird thing. So that's fun. [01:17:25] Speaker D: Wait, hold on. Bird ankles aren't reversed though. [01:17:28] Speaker C: There's like. It does the. They're longer, you know. [01:17:32] Speaker D: They're longer, but they're not reversed. [01:17:34] Speaker C: And also they extend. [01:17:36] Speaker D: Yeah, that. [01:17:37] Speaker C: You get bonus bones. That's unpleasant. [01:17:39] Speaker B: Boneless bones. Bones. [01:17:41] Speaker D: I mean, you don't. You get some bonus bones kind of thing with the feet, it's just kind of like the toes rearranged into a fan, like, shape. And you're. I'm a furry artist. I'll draw this later. No, I know what you're talking about. [01:17:53] Speaker C: I know. [01:17:55] Speaker A: Well, I think that's pretty much every question. [01:18:00] Speaker D: Oh, I have a secret question that I can ask. [01:18:03] Speaker A: What is your secret, secret question? [01:18:05] Speaker D: This is for the players. If your character had to die and they would not be coming back, how would you want them to go out. [01:18:13] Speaker F: Ailing? A fortitude save? [01:18:16] Speaker B: No. [01:18:20] Speaker C: Man. [01:18:26] Speaker B: I mean, Yuri would die to protect the people. Like this party. Most of this party. I don't know if Yuri would die for Niall at this point, I want to be so for real. [01:18:38] Speaker D: That's fine. [01:18:41] Speaker C: But Alistair is on the list, and I am. I. I approve of this. [01:18:47] Speaker B: He's the great Mouse detective. Use the Great Mouse Detective more than they could use Yuri. [01:18:55] Speaker C: Well, I don't agree with that part. [01:18:58] Speaker B: The great Mass detective. Thank you. Wait. [01:19:08] Speaker C: I think if I got to pick the, like, how Lou goes out, I think it would be actually, like, doing something really worthwhile that, like, I don't know, like. Like pulling the lever so the whole group can escape or something like that. Like, getting to be very useful for once and feeling accomplished for once. [01:19:35] Speaker D: No. [01:19:36] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:19:37] Speaker D: Don't make this sad. [01:19:39] Speaker C: No, that's my job. You asked a sad question. Don't ask sad questions if you don't want sad answers. [01:19:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Come on. [01:19:50] Speaker D: Right. That's on me. [01:19:55] Speaker C: What about Alistair? Muted. Muted. [01:20:08] Speaker B: Is your mic muted like the physical mic? [01:20:19] Speaker C: We lost him forever, man. [01:20:26] Speaker D: We're gonna stop losing players like this. We're gonna run out. [01:20:29] Speaker C: You killed Sparlock with your question. [01:20:32] Speaker B: Wow. Did your mic switch in zoom for some reason while they're figuring this out? Tick, you asked the question. You have to answer. [01:20:53] Speaker D: Oh, that one's easy. If I had to choose, Nile would die dragging someone down with him that he doesn't like. No one specific. No checkoffs. Gone. Here. Why do we keep collecting these guns, man? [01:21:06] Speaker C: There's so many of them. [01:21:10] Speaker A: Squints, you know, Chekhov, renowned weaponsmith. [01:21:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:21:17] Speaker E: Can you hear me now? [01:21:18] Speaker C: Yes. [01:21:21] Speaker E: Like, oh, my God. Like, during the whole question about Freaky Friday, I tried saying stuff, like, four or five times. I was like, y' all are just, like, ignoring me. [01:21:33] Speaker B: Me? Yeah. [01:21:38] Speaker E: Well, I. I I actually, I wanted to know if your class abilities switched over to the new body. [01:21:47] Speaker A: I would think I would say, like, you would suddenly be Alistair the sorcerer, Alistair the kineticist. [01:21:59] Speaker E: Because I imagine, like, some of the classes would change over and some wouldn't. Like, if you were a wizard, you would keep your wizard spells that you are prepared. [01:22:09] Speaker C: That's true. [01:22:10] Speaker E: If you were a barbarian, like, you would keep, you wouldn't keep your strength, but you keep, like, your barbarian skills. Yeah, like, I, I'd like to make a chart of it actually, but no. [01:22:26] Speaker C: So. [01:22:29] Speaker E: I wonder what happened to my mic. I was like, wow. I, I, I guess I just can't get a word in edgewise. Y really enjoying the back and forth. Fair enough. No, I actually said in between two people that I think Alistair would die from a spell backfire. [01:22:51] Speaker F: Oh, that would be so sad. [01:22:56] Speaker C: Terrible. [01:22:58] Speaker B: We gotta mute you. [01:23:04] Speaker E: Better than finally being useful for. [01:23:12] Speaker C: I don't know what character you think you're playing with here. This girl is sad from the beginning. It's also maybe a running theme with my characters. Oops. [01:23:28] Speaker A: Oops. [01:23:30] Speaker C: Maybe four for four. At this point, this is starting to feel like it's a personal thing. I kid, I kid, but I am four for four. [01:23:48] Speaker B: Well, is that the Q and A? [01:23:50] Speaker A: Yeah. I believe that brings us to the end of the Q and A. Thank you all for listening and Toss will be back soon. We got some fun little surprises for the next few weeks as we prepare for the season three. And I look forward to people's reactions to season three. As we've already said, we're kind of deep into recording it and things have happened. [01:24:19] Speaker E: I think. [01:24:21] Speaker B: Wait. [01:24:23] Speaker E: I'll wait for us to finish the. [01:24:26] Speaker A: Would you like to do the rest of the Outro? [01:24:29] Speaker D: I would love to do the rest of the Outro before Sparlock steals my job further and further in this economy. [01:24:35] Speaker C: Thank you, everyone. [01:24:36] Speaker D: Not even Canadians keep their jobs. All the Americans will take the Canadian jobs. I say. I said. Anyways, thank you everyone for listening to a wonderful Q A episode of Goblets and Gays. If you like what we do here, feel free to follow us on Instagram, on Blue sky, on. I don't think we use X anymore. Not since the incident, no. On Patreon Nut. Judgment, blank. On Discord. You can ping me at weird hours and I will come to check you and you get a surprise. And the surprise is me permanently banning you from the server. So be careful. Remember, stay safe, take care of yourselves and yeah.
