[00:00:43] Speaker A: Wake me up in this sleep I've been dreaming, doctor long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stare by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me demon tells Rome in this red light it calls me he is reaching out consuming.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: Hello, everyone, and welcome back to tired of the dark star. I'm Aubrey Ugmore. I will introduce my players, who they are, who they're playing, and we'll get on into things.
[00:01:40] Speaker C: Hi, my name's Aki. Pronouns are she, her, and I am playing gravewing, who is our monk, Kinesis.
That's it. That's all you get to know about her. Oh, also uses she her pronouns.
[00:01:57] Speaker D: Hi, y'all. I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they theme, and I play Laitha Drisi, our dampier, dandy, and rogue, who uses she any pronouns.
[00:02:10] Speaker E: It's me. Hello, I'm dusty. I use they he pronouns, and I'm playing Eurydo, just eurydo for now. They also use they he pronouns, and they are going to be our blood hunter.
[00:02:25] Speaker C: Hello, I am Ferx. I'm usually her pronouns, and I am playing the nephilim, I think is what.
[00:02:32] Speaker A: They'Re called now, thaumaturge, who also uses she her pronouns.
[00:02:39] Speaker F: Hello, I am Sparlock. I use he him pronouns. I am playing Alistair Whiskerfield, the renowned wizard and investigator who uses he him pronouns also.
[00:02:54] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Tik. I use he she they pronouns. And today I'll be playing niall, a wonderful flesh warp sorcerer who is definitely not a cannibal at all. Why do you even think that?
[00:03:07] Speaker B: So, Tick, what happened last time?
[00:03:09] Speaker G: I'm sorry? Last time? Last time on the game that we played, we headed back, had a fantastic little dinner, and then discussed what we were kind of going to do next, you know, other than having game misunderstandings, pointing at the two loan in this channel that do not know how to have a proper discussion, we kind of planned around what we're going to do, investigate the manner that potentially caused a gold fever the next day. Have a very nice dinner. I wonder who cooked it. It was really, really good. I heard. But we all kind of got ready, took a nice little nap, and kind of like, at the beginning of the watch, of the first watch, there was an explosion at the Wizards tower, and me and Alouette, my best friend, were this, like, huh, what's going on over here? And kind of woke up and decided, well, ghouls are probably pretty distracted by that. It's a good time to go in and raid the mansion. So we kind of did a fun little chase sequence of avoiding every single problem we physically could. And may I just say, furries make really lucky dice because I've been rolling really good. But, yeah, we've reached the manor officially. We got to level up, Lippy. I have a lot of horrifying spells now, so.
Yeah, we have now reached the manor. Aubrey, again, I'm really fucking sorry. I thought we were doing the claps. Save still, and I'll pass it off to you, okay?
[00:04:29] Speaker B: Yeah. You are standing in the courtyard in front of the manor, all probably taking a moment to catch your breath from all the running.
[00:04:43] Speaker G: Oh, that was a lot of running. Oh, my goodness.
We're here, though, right?
[00:04:50] Speaker E: We can't stop now. They're just gonna get you faster. We need to just go in, uh, and probably check for jumps.
[00:04:58] Speaker F: Did y'all see that jump? I did.
[00:05:01] Speaker G: I was too busy making the jump.
[00:05:04] Speaker C: Yeah, you did.
[00:05:06] Speaker A: I saw everyone jump because I also jumped really well.
Did not hit my head or nothing.
[00:05:16] Speaker E: No, no. Perfect jump. I got you fine. It's great.
[00:05:20] Speaker C: And there was a really loud bonk.
[00:05:22] Speaker A: That was a ghoul.
[00:05:25] Speaker C: Yeah, french ghoul. Amazing.
[00:05:31] Speaker E: French.
[00:05:34] Speaker C: All right. Um, yeah. Trek for traps. Let's get in, let's look at shit, loot it, get out.
[00:05:44] Speaker B: Right. All right.
[00:05:45] Speaker G: Trap. Gay, you're up.
[00:05:48] Speaker B: Who is checking for traps? Is it Laithe?
[00:05:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I can. Unless Alistair wants to.
[00:05:56] Speaker F: We can both check for traps.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: Both give me perception checks as you approach the sort of the massive doors.
[00:06:06] Speaker F: I will. What's your perception?
[00:06:11] Speaker D: Plus eight.
[00:06:12] Speaker F: Okay, I will assist you in that case.
So that's a 24 to help.
[00:06:30] Speaker D: I also got a 24. So either 25, 26.
[00:06:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:37] Speaker B: You don't see any traps.
The door itself is locked?
[00:06:47] Speaker D: Uh, yeah. And again, I think Laithe will pull out the lockpicks that she has acquired since we left prison and ask Alistair if he wants to do the honors or if she should.
[00:07:03] Speaker F: I'm. I'm more the investigative type.
You're the questionable moral sort.
That's not what I mean.
[00:07:18] Speaker D: I mean, my morals are questionable, but not just in this domain.
But that is a 24. Again, four theory.
[00:07:30] Speaker B: It really helps that the lock itself is incredibly rusted, so you're able to sort of snap all the pins into place and they stick very well as you.
The door is unlocked. Are you pushing it open or someone else?
[00:07:50] Speaker D: I will. Unless, like, graveling jumps ahead of me. I will slowly push it open. And I think when it's open, just enough to sort of see inside. I'd like to check to see if I see any immediate disturbance of dust or any signs that there are people.
I guess signs are not dust. Signs that there are people around here.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Um, well, you are just, uh, you push these doors open into this, at what one point was a massive grand foyer. Um, even though you are a little distracted at the moment as this creature whirs to life in front of you, and I need everyone to roll initiative.
[00:08:46] Speaker A: Fuck.
[00:08:48] Speaker C: Nabbit.
Oh, it's this motherfucker.
[00:08:52] Speaker E: I remember you.
[00:08:55] Speaker A: Huh?
[00:08:55] Speaker E: I don't have forge open yet.
[00:08:57] Speaker G: Ooh, where do I remember him from?
I don't remember. From what?
[00:09:02] Speaker C: In Bach. We fought it. We fought it before. We fought it by this fugly ass bitch. We fought it before.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: Where?
[00:09:08] Speaker C: In blood of kings.
[00:09:09] Speaker A: No, no, I know that.
[00:09:11] Speaker G: We're in Cressa, right?
[00:09:14] Speaker B: Yeah. The attack on Cressa.
[00:09:18] Speaker F: Oh, man, that was so close to in that 20.
[00:09:23] Speaker G: All right, time to use digital dice, which I gotta fuck me up the ass.
[00:09:29] Speaker C: It's a very specific way.
Happy pride.
[00:09:35] Speaker G: Happy pride, everyone.
[00:09:37] Speaker E: Y'all are gonna be here, never mind.
[00:09:39] Speaker G: Even the digital dice love me.
[00:09:46] Speaker B: Um, well, that means we are starting off with you, Alouette. As this golem sort of lurches to life. You sort of see it's rusted and has all of these sort of little wells where these just vats of alchemical whatever bubble and boil and it starts to lumber towards you very awkwardly.
[00:10:18] Speaker A: Right.
Okay, so step one, always exploit vulnerability.
[00:10:24] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:10:25] Speaker A: Which is gonna be esoterica roll.
You give me one good roll and then you go back to telling me you hate me.
[00:10:37] Speaker D: It's fine.
I love you.
[00:10:41] Speaker A: That's okay. We can make this work. Cause my esoterica is pretty good. That's gonna be a 15 on the esoterica roll.
[00:10:49] Speaker B: A 15.
And that's for your DC versus the standard. DC for its level and your DC for its level.
So that is not going to be enough.
[00:11:06] Speaker A: Oh, that's scary. Okay.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
[00:11:12] Speaker A: Then let's see here.
Um, then we're gonna wiggle past lathe, I guess, and boldly attack.
Um, I have enough.
Am I able to get past lathe and also go up along the side of the Gollum BC alchemical robot thing?
Okay.
In theory, if I were to technically be on the bottom of the stairs, could I still reach it? Because it's ginormous?
[00:11:58] Speaker B: Theoretically, yes.
[00:11:59] Speaker D: Okay, it's gonna.
[00:12:01] Speaker A: I'm just gonna be right there.
[00:12:03] Speaker B: It can still reach you.
[00:12:04] Speaker A: That's okay. I know, I know. I just wanna be out of everybody else's way and also have somewhere to retreat to.
[00:12:10] Speaker B: And then one action left.
[00:12:12] Speaker A: Yes, one action left.
We are going to attack using the implements. Empowerment. Which combines with my strike.
I don't think it's a. Wait. Yeah, it's not a separate action. It just happens when you strike with the rapier that I was given and.
Yeah. So I'm gonna have to roll for it. I can't use my tarot card.
I'm gonna go ahead and.
[00:12:50] Speaker B: I mean, your tarot card just gives you. Cause it's the good one. Right? So it gives you plus ten.
[00:12:55] Speaker A: Oh, it gives me plus ten to my roll.
[00:12:57] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:12:59] Speaker A: You know what? We're gonna use the tarot card.
[00:13:01] Speaker B: Yeah. It gives you ten to your roll.
[00:13:03] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So Lou tries to find the weakness of this big robot looking thing, kind of panics because she's a forsaken robot and then is trying to just be.
Trying to make her cousin proud. So she's gonna squeeze past laythe and then just go sprinting past the thing and kind of, like, slide up against the banister and, like, retreat up a step.
And then she's going to whip out tarot card she had from earlier, which I feel like she didn't even bring it with her. I think it just. It was with her, you know, and kind of flip it into the air, draw her bell, give it a ring as she stabs with her sword, her rapier that is cocked. I'm a little fuzzies that my cat pulled up. Okay. Okay. Okay. So that's gonna be 26.
26.
[00:14:08] Speaker B: 26 will hit.
[00:14:10] Speaker A: Okay.
I. Yeah. Cause I would use the plus ten. Not my. Not my plus strike.
[00:14:20] Speaker B: Well, it's on top of.
[00:14:21] Speaker A: Oh, add another six.
[00:14:23] Speaker B: It's 26.
[00:14:25] Speaker A: Plus six is 32.
[00:14:27] Speaker B: 32. That will be a critical hit.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: This will be the only good thing I do today.
[00:14:31] Speaker B: Excellent.
[00:14:32] Speaker A: Wonderful.
[00:14:33] Speaker G: Whoo.
[00:14:34] Speaker A: Make my cousin proud and maybe make my crush excited. Okay.
We're gonna attack for damage, and we're gonna. Whatever this says, I also have to add in. Oh, I don't know if I put in the rapier correctly into the thing. So I'm just gonna roll and find out.
[00:14:50] Speaker B: You did.
[00:14:51] Speaker A: Bueno. It's also gonna be plus two.
Oh, I can turn it on. Oh, that's fun.
So that's gonna be six damage.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: So we'll take twelve damage. And as you do, you're, you know, you're looking and you're trying to find the best parts to hit.
And as you do this and you hit this certain part, your rapier slips a little bit, and you rupture one of these vessels that is on the golem. And I need you to make a reflex save DC 18.
[00:15:32] Speaker A: This dice has been really temperamental, so I'm gonna pull out a different one for that 1212.
[00:15:43] Speaker B: It is a. It is not going to be a success.
It's just a regular failure.
So. And then I need you to give me a DC 17 fortitude save.
[00:15:57] Speaker A: Oh, you know what? I take it back. That wasn't a twelve. That was an eleven.
[00:16:01] Speaker B: It's still originally. Okay.
[00:16:09] Speaker A: Fortitude now.
[00:16:10] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: That's. I don't. That's another 16 today.
My dice, like 1616 plus eight is gonna be 2020. Wait. 1624 is the word I'm going for. I can do math, I swear.
[00:16:30] Speaker B: 24. Okay, so you managed to.
You're not good enough to dodge it.
And you sort of take a face full of this.
Just noxious liquid, and you will become sick in one.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Don't stab it.
That's my whole turn.
[00:16:57] Speaker B: Yurido.
[00:17:01] Speaker E: Um.
Yurido hears don't stab it. But Yurido can only stab. Um, first action with that longsword. What they've been doing every start, run their hand along the blade, it sets itself ablaze. I take six damage because it's double my level. And we leveled up.
Um.
I am then going to use my first focus bow, because I completely forgot I had this. Throughout our whole thing, I would attempt to use my blood curse of the marked. I was reading all this. It does not say this creature needs to have blood. I think it's all coming from me.
And fun thing about these blood curses is that I would like to amplify it. So I'm going to take away another two gp from myself. And I needed to make this creature, to make a fortitude, save.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: Fortitude. Where is that number?
Aha. Um, 29.
[00:18:36] Speaker E: Fuck me.
All right, that's a critical success. So it's not marked and is immune to the curse for an hour. So, you see, Yuri attempts to with the hand that's already kind of bleeding. You see that this.
They start to mutter something, and then this.
Some droplets of blood come out from their hand, and they, like, wave their hand, the other hand out, and it goes to fly on the creature. And I think the glow that's around it immediately dissipates. And you all hear very quietly, fuck.
Okay.
And then they're gonna spend their action to run up to this thing.
It'll be right there. And that's Euroto's turn.
[00:19:27] Speaker B: Okay?
And that'll bring us to Nile.
[00:19:32] Speaker D: Yippee.
[00:19:33] Speaker G: So I saw this thing get stabbed and then the acid splitter everywhere and hurt alouette. So I don't want to attack it right now, at least while people are still within range of it, because if I do that, it'll just hurt them quite a bit. So Lou's pretty soft, at least a little bit mentally. So Niall is going to raise both of his hands. One of them is going to form a sort of, like, tendrilly shield. And I cast shield for one of my actions. And the other second action, I'm going to point my hand at Alouette with this little stringy sort of tendril comes out and shoots out towards her. And alouette, you see this little piece of gunk stick to your shirt and kind of, uh, is just kind of latched onto right now it seems like spread a little bit. And I am going to cast the spell that I had up 30 seconds ago and really need to not have off, uh, forbidding ward on Alouette and, uh, the little bitch in the center of the room.
[00:20:35] Speaker B: Okay, so, uh, according to it versus your ac, your AC council is one.
[00:20:40] Speaker G: Higher, and you also get plus one to saving throws against anything that it does to you.
[00:20:46] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:20:50] Speaker G: And that is my turn. I used both my actions for those spells. I got shield up. I got forbidding ward up. I am just here just chilling.
[00:20:59] Speaker B: Laithe.
[00:21:01] Speaker D: Laithe is going to attempt to sort of dance up to the golem, and I think just sort of slip between its legs behind it. So I'm going to attempt to tumble through.
[00:21:17] Speaker B: All right.
Versus its reflex DC, I believe.
[00:21:20] Speaker D: Reflex DC, which is a acrobatics 21.
[00:21:29] Speaker B: You slide between those legs and find yourself behind it.
[00:21:34] Speaker D: Laith is very good at that.
And then I am going to attempt, I think that I faint with my dagger, which is against its perception. DC 26.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: That will be a regular success.
[00:22:05] Speaker D: Okay. So he is now off guard and has a minus two circumstance penalty. Two perception and perception checks and reflex saves for our spellcasters, eh? Okay. But I also get a free step. So she, I think, sort of feints with her dagger and then steps back and with her whip rather than the dagger, will attempt to attack.
Oh, that's easy. 25 to hit.
[00:22:38] Speaker B: What were you attacking with?
[00:22:40] Speaker D: A whip, which is slashing.
[00:22:44] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, that'll hit.
[00:22:52] Speaker D: And does it take precision damage or. No?
[00:22:56] Speaker B: Um, it'll take precision damage.
[00:23:01] Speaker D: Sweet.
That is nine damage total.
[00:23:15] Speaker B: Okay. And that'll bring us to Alistair.
[00:23:19] Speaker F: I am going to.
Yes, that's the order. I want to do it.
Because I don't want to spray all with acid, so I'm actually going to move. 510 15 2025 30.
Long way around to avoid any attacks of opportunity, if he has access to them.
I hope nothing's on the other side of that door that I'm standing behind.
For my next action, I am going to devise a stratagem.
All right, that's not going to be bad. And as part of that.
Yeah. As part of that, I will attempt a recall knowledge.
I'm thinking Arcana would be the correct recall on this thing.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: Yeah, you can use Arcana. Is a good choice.
[00:24:31] Speaker F: All right. And my goal is to figure out any weaknesses.
So that is a 32.
[00:24:48] Speaker B: 32, yeah. I'll give you three questions.
[00:24:53] Speaker F: Does it have any weaknesses?
[00:24:55] Speaker B: It does not.
[00:24:57] Speaker F: Does it have any resistance or immunities?
[00:25:02] Speaker B: It has physical four, except adamantine or bludgeoning.
Uh, and immunities. It has acid bleed, death effects, disease, doomed, drained.
[00:25:14] Speaker C: Fatigued.
[00:25:14] Speaker B: Healing, mental. Non lethal attacks. Paralyzed, poison, sickened a spirit, unconscious, vitality, void.
[00:25:26] Speaker G: Goodness, that's, like, all of my attack damage types. Thanks, I guess.
[00:25:31] Speaker B: You're welcome.
[00:25:35] Speaker A: You know, it's not too late to go back the way we came.
Those are just ghouls.
[00:25:42] Speaker F: Bonk it on the head, I guess, is the.
Is the idea. And I know it won't be very helpful, but I can go ahead and attempt to shoot it.
All right, so that's a 25 to hit.
[00:26:03] Speaker B: That'll hit.
[00:26:10] Speaker F: And that is twelve piercing.
So I guess it takes eight.
[00:26:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
And you do have shared stratagem, so it will be off guard to the next ally. To a designated ally. Who would you like to designate?
[00:26:42] Speaker F: Let's see. Whoever I think is the bonkiest, because I know we got braveling, probably gravewing.
[00:26:52] Speaker E: You've seen them.
[00:26:53] Speaker F: Graveling?
Bonk them on the head.
They are best against bludgeoning.
I will share that with graveling, and.
[00:27:04] Speaker B: Then it'll count as off guard to gravewing.
Okay. And that'll be graveling's turn.
[00:27:13] Speaker C: Legioning, huh?
[00:27:15] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:27:16] Speaker C: Yeah. That would, in fact, be all of my damage.
[00:27:22] Speaker G: I love that. All of your damage is exactly what can hit it, but every damage type I do is at best resisted.
[00:27:29] Speaker C: Mm hmm. I also, fun fact, my strikes help with that as well. The non magical one. I got it. The mystical strikes or whatever. So leveling up might have made the best thing that could happen for us and not for it. Okay, so gravewing has been told to bonk it.
She's gonna nod, spend an action to kind of get in there.
1 second, this is probably should have checked this before, but that's so much fucking movement. I want to. I can flank it, right? Or is this thing too big to be flanked?
[00:28:14] Speaker F: You don't need to.
[00:28:16] Speaker B: It's already off guard to you.
[00:28:18] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that's right. That's true. That's true.
Yeah. I'm just gonna step up, kind of be a little bit away from Yuri. So that way we're not.
We are perhaps not right beside each other, but just, you know, far enough to be like, within a step or two.
[00:28:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:39] Speaker C: Um, and, uh, I'm. I'm gonna.
I'm gonna bonk it. I'm gonna.
Oh, I can. Flurry of blows. Yeah, I'm gonna go. Flurry of blows.
Bonk, bonk. Let me see.
Um, so for flurry of blows, is it. It's two separate attack rolls right with.
[00:29:10] Speaker B: The, um, multiple attack penalty.
[00:29:13] Speaker C: Multiple attack penalty. Thank you.
[00:29:15] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:29:18] Speaker G: Okay, so you said it was immune to stun, right?
[00:29:28] Speaker B: Uh, yes, I believe so.
[00:29:30] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:29:32] Speaker C: Okay. The first 1st attack is 21.
[00:29:36] Speaker B: 21 will hit.
[00:29:44] Speaker C: Okay. 1 second.
So that the second one is 1818.
[00:29:55] Speaker B: Will not hit.
[00:29:56] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:29:58] Speaker C: Just gonna punch it a bunch.
I don't think my damage die went up yet, so I should be hitting normal, I think. Well, not normal like what I have before.
It's going to get hit for seven points.
[00:30:29] Speaker B: And it will take all seven of that.
[00:30:31] Speaker C: The bludgeon damage is just bonk.
I have one more.
I have one more action.
But hitting again would probably be a very bad idea.
[00:30:44] Speaker B: It will be like minus.
[00:30:46] Speaker C: It would be at a plus three now, I think.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Always open your Connecticut gate.
[00:30:53] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I think I'll just open my Connecticut gate as my last one as a gust of air just starts swirling from the door, like, kind of moves into this tower.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: Oh, hey. It is the alchemical golem's turn as it sort of creaks and moves. And let's see. Who's it going to attack?
[00:31:24] Speaker A: Yuri.
[00:31:26] Speaker G: I'm staying in my own lane. I'm out of here.
[00:31:31] Speaker B: It is going to make its first attack at Lou because Lou hit it with a crit.
[00:31:38] Speaker A: That's fair.
[00:31:43] Speaker B: Uh, so that is a 30 to hit.
[00:31:57] Speaker A: You know what? That's fair. It crits me or I crit it. It crits me.
[00:32:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:32:03] Speaker G: I don't think that plus one I gave you is gonna help the 30. I'm sorry.
[00:32:07] Speaker A: It does keep it from being more than twice my Ac.
Wow. Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh.
[00:32:19] Speaker B: So it's going to be 14 damage.
[00:32:21] Speaker A: That's okay.
[00:32:23] Speaker B: And then I need you to give me another fortitude save as this. Cause this thing has got, like, syringes on its hands and it stabs you with one of those and injects you with something.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: No, thank you. No, thank you.
[00:32:37] Speaker B: One moment.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: Let me do math for the first thing you did to me.
[00:32:40] Speaker B: Mm hmm.
[00:32:41] Speaker A: Okay.
And then you want a fortitude check.
[00:32:46] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:32:47] Speaker A: Okay.
The bell die rolled badly, so it's.
[00:32:52] Speaker B: Time for it to roll.
[00:32:53] Speaker D: Good.
[00:32:55] Speaker G: If you forget your plus one, I'll stab you.
[00:33:00] Speaker A: 1 second. Let me compare it to the other number that it might be. This is either a 19 or 14.
It is a 14 plus one plus fortitude.
Eris, you can do math? It's just math.
[00:33:22] Speaker B: Wow. What do you do?
[00:33:23] Speaker G: Tragedy.
[00:33:23] Speaker B: You have to do mathematic 22. That is a success. So you will only be slowed for one round as this person, whatever it has injected you with sort of fills you with a feeling of lethargy.
[00:33:37] Speaker A: Oh, don't. Don't get stabbed.
[00:33:42] Speaker C: It does stuff.
[00:33:46] Speaker B: And then it's gonna turn around and stab at grafingen for a 17 missus. All right.
And then it's gonna try one more time or a 25.
[00:34:11] Speaker C: That'll hit.
[00:34:12] Speaker B: All right.
You will take ten piercing damage and give me a 42 save.
Oh.
[00:34:45] Speaker C: 24.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: 24. Okay. You will only be sickened one as it gets you with one of those chemicals.
And that'll bring us back to Lou.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: Ah, crap. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Um.
[00:35:11] Speaker B: So you have two actions this round because you're slowed. One.
[00:35:14] Speaker A: Yes, that is correct.
Um.
Um.
I think.
I think it doesn't seem likely that it will be killed before its turn, does it?
[00:35:43] Speaker B: It's not hit bloodied yet.
[00:35:47] Speaker A: I'm taking that as a no.
Fair enough.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: It really depends on how the roles go.
[00:35:54] Speaker A: You know what?
We're gonna risk it, I think, for the biscuit. Um, we're going to, uh.
Yuri, you're within 30ft of me, right? Can Yuri see me, actually, through the golem? It's skinny.
[00:36:21] Speaker E: It looks like I could at least.
[00:36:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I think you can see each other. Yeah.
[00:36:24] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:36:25] Speaker B: I'd say, like, there is a line between you and Yuri, so I. The golem would be considered off guard to both of you.
[00:36:33] Speaker A: That's okay. I just need to make sure that Yuri can see me as Lou is gonna do a little.
A little dance on the stairs. She's just gonna do a little dance. It's a little staggery because she's feeling whatever the heck she just got injected with.
And she has to like, lean on the railing a couple times and catch herself. But she does a cute little dance. It's cute. It's enchanted. And she's gonna get a plus one, two attack rolls, which isn't helpful for her because this is a two action spell. However, it's also gonna be effective to Yuri who can see her. So you get that also, you also have a plus one to your attack roll.
And I think you get it until the start of my next turn. So I think all of your attack rolls have a plus one, if I'm reading this correctly.
[00:37:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:32] Speaker A: So use them wisely.
And that's it. She just does a little dance of turtle three.
[00:37:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
You will no longer be slowed. You know, it was very fast acting. You know, you start feeling a little bit better.
[00:37:46] Speaker A: I danced it away. You just gotta dance the blues away sometimes.
[00:37:49] Speaker B: Oh, you still feel like you're gonna vomit, but, you know, you just gotta dance the blues away.
[00:37:54] Speaker A: It's fine.
[00:37:54] Speaker G: Keep dancing. Eventually you'll vomit.
[00:37:58] Speaker B: Yuri, it is now your turn.
[00:38:01] Speaker E: Um, what?
Okay, so Yuri is first going with their sword that's on fire, going to slash at it, dealing, slashing, damage.
Foba hit with that plus one. That is going to be a 21.
[00:38:35] Speaker B: 21 will hit.
Great.
[00:38:39] Speaker E: Where is the d eight?
So it's going to take five plus three. So five, slashing, three, fire damage.
[00:38:52] Speaker B: All right.
[00:38:56] Speaker E: Then next action, take out the dueling pistol. Third action, shoot it.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: Right?
[00:39:08] Speaker E: We have hero points, right? Yeah, we have hero points.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:14] Speaker E: I'm gonna use that. Hero point. Goddamn dice.
Your time I mentioned hero point rules of one.
That is so much better. So that is going to be 26 minus five. So 21 again.
[00:39:31] Speaker B: 21 will also hit great.
[00:39:33] Speaker E: Not a crit, right?
[00:39:34] Speaker B: Not a crit.
[00:39:36] Speaker E: Yeah.
And because a dueling pistol is concussive, I use the weaker of the targets resistance or immunity to piercing or bludgeoning. So it's going to be dealing, bludgeoning damage or bludgeoning damage as the shot goes off right at the sting stone.
[00:40:02] Speaker B: All right.
[00:40:04] Speaker E: And that is Oliver's turn.
[00:40:08] Speaker B: All right. And that'll bring us to nile.
[00:40:11] Speaker G: So I'm going to just, you know, move the bandage off of the spot on my, like, on my face and allow the needle darts to just kind of spew out towards this creature and try to hit it with some. Hit it with some needle darts, you know?
Oh, we dart in it.
We are not hitting it, though.
That's a 17. I don't think we're hitting it. I have so many hero points saved up. Actually, I should use it.
[00:40:37] Speaker B: You should.
[00:40:37] Speaker G: I've been saving up those hero points like a fucking hoarding gremlin. I'm gonna use one as a treatise.
[00:40:45] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:40:47] Speaker G: That's an 18. Now I got one. Higher.
[00:40:55] Speaker B: Yeah, that is not gonna hit.
[00:40:57] Speaker G: Oh, that's okay for the third action. Honestly, I don't really have much. I'm just gonna use Shield again in case this thing decides that I am a problem. But I'm not going in there. I don't want to get hit by shit.
You guys can get hit by shit. I don't have to recast forbidding ward. I just have to, like, sustain it, it looks like. So I'm just gonna.
[00:41:16] Speaker B: You spend one action to sustain it.
[00:41:18] Speaker G: Oh, I do. Okay, then I use my third action to sustain. Forbidding ward. Thank you. I'm not using shield. I'm using an action to sustain, forbidding ward. That's how sustaining works in this.
[00:41:26] Speaker B: All right.
[00:41:26] Speaker G: Gotcha. Thank you. I didn't fuck it up.
[00:41:29] Speaker C: So.
[00:41:29] Speaker G: Yeah, two action needle dart, which missed. And then one action to sustain.
Or good old Lou, who is not having a good day. And that will be my turn.
[00:41:39] Speaker B: Yeah. And that'll bring us to Laith.
[00:41:41] Speaker D: Yeah. Laithe was in whip range, but she's now going to step forward and drop the dagger she holds in one hand. And on her belt, she still has the club that we grabbed from the prison. And because Alistair said bludgeoning damage, I'm going to attempt to bludgeon it with this club.
Yikes. I'm going to use a hero point.
[00:42:04] Speaker B: Probably a good idea.
[00:42:13] Speaker D: 19 to hit.
[00:42:16] Speaker B: Uh, because it is off guard. Because you're flanking it with Yuri. That will hit.
[00:42:22] Speaker D: Hell, yeah.
Eight damage total.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. The thing is starting to look a little rough.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:42:37] Speaker D: And that's my turn.
[00:42:39] Speaker B: Right. And that'll bring us to Alistair.
[00:42:41] Speaker F: Yep.
[00:42:42] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:42:42] Speaker F: All right, so, first up, we are going to devise a stratagem, figure out how we're gonna spin. This turn should still be targeted properly.
That lovely, lovely roll. That is not really going to help me out because I don't think a 15 will hit.
[00:43:18] Speaker D: It will battle medicine, if you have it.
[00:43:22] Speaker F: I do not have battle medicine.
But I also know that it won't hit, which means I can do other things. Um, which in this case.
Nah, I don't want to get that close.
[00:43:45] Speaker B: Come on. Get closer. It'll be fine.
[00:43:46] Speaker A: I'm.
[00:43:48] Speaker F: Yeah, sure. Just give you more targets.
[00:43:52] Speaker B: It only has three actions. There's only somebody black and hit around.
[00:43:59] Speaker F: Spread the love.
Anybody looking exceptionally bad?
[00:44:08] Speaker G: Have you looked in a mirror lately.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: Lou.
Lou is really the only one who's gotten messed up in the fight.
Harry wing is taking a little bit of damage, but Lou got crit.
[00:44:21] Speaker A: I spend most fights not getting hit, so this is fair. This is how things should be.
[00:44:27] Speaker F: All right, so I'm going to move over.
Oh, 510. 15.
Move over here to B. Lou's friend.
For my second action. For my third action, two actions to heal.
I'm gonna pull out a potion and look meaningfully at Lou, and that will be it.
[00:45:14] Speaker B: Yeah. And that'll bring us back to Craigwang.
[00:45:17] Speaker C: Sup? Um, I went and reread my stuff and realized that, unequivocally, this thing is fucked. Uh, I have Titan wrestler.
[00:45:32] Speaker B: You do? Yeah.
[00:45:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
Now, I should ask for the sole purpose of just, like, rules.
Is this thing up to two sizes larger than I.
[00:45:47] Speaker B: It is one size larger than you. It is large.
[00:45:50] Speaker C: Amazing.
So I feel like grappling. It is what would make sense, though, actually. No, I can trip it. Right. And tripping it would get. Would.
Tripping it knocks a prone, but doesn't make it off guard for everybody.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: It would. It would make. Yeah, it would be off guard for everyone.
[00:46:16] Speaker C: Okay. That's amazing.
[00:46:17] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:46:17] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll trip it instead, which I believe that's an athletics role on me versus athletics versus.
[00:46:25] Speaker B: It's a reflex. DC.
[00:46:26] Speaker C: Thank you. Um, say I'm gonna trip it.
Wow.
I don't know. Hmm.
Does this thing look dexterous?
[00:46:55] Speaker B: It's got decently high physical stuff.
[00:46:59] Speaker G: Yeah.
[00:46:59] Speaker C: This is. This is me debating if I want to do a reroll or not, because my. My bonus is very high, but I need to beat its DC. So that's what I'm thinking right now.
I think I do beat it. But is it possible to maybe, um, retcon this a little bit and make like a. Like a. I don't know, some sort of recall knowledge check to see if I can deduce.
[00:47:27] Speaker B: If you want to. If you want to do that instead, that's fine. Well, this is your first action is to recall knowledge. See if you can remember how. How quick these things can move.
[00:47:38] Speaker C: Yeah. What am I. What would I. What would I roll for something like.
[00:47:41] Speaker B: This, you can do Arcana or crafting or if you have any applicable lores, warfare lore, I would say warfare lore would let you. Okay.
[00:47:51] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:47:52] Speaker B: Because these are. These are creatures of war when you're trying to think about tactics.
[00:47:59] Speaker C: Okay. Dirty 20.
[00:48:00] Speaker B: Dirty 20. Yeah. You asked one question, and the question is its reflex.
Its reflex bonus is a plus nine.
So it'd be a DC, would be a 19.
[00:48:13] Speaker C: Oh, my God, I would. Okay. Okay. I definitely do beat it. Like, unless I roll like dog shit, I'm gonna beat it. So.
Okay. Recall knowledge. Now we gonna trip it.
[00:48:26] Speaker G: Trip.
[00:48:30] Speaker C: 26.
[00:48:31] Speaker B: 26. That is a success, but not a critical success.
So it will fall prone.
How does this look?
[00:48:39] Speaker C: Yeah, so you see, gravewing has done a semi decent job at dodging its attack. She gets cut a little bit, and she's been kind of stalling, if that makes sense, so she could kind of figure this out. Like, is it fast? Is it faster than me?
The answer is no.
And so you see her kind of just dive in, or rather, I guess you'd see her cape the most because it would drag behind her just based on speed. You see her dive in and just.
She dives in and sort of like, you know when you're running really fast and then you grab on a pole, your hand on a pole to turn to help you make those really sharp turns. That's kind of what you see gravewing do, except as she turns, she kind of throws her feet in the air so she has even more force to full on pull this fucking Gollum's legs out from under it as it just, like, slams to the ground a bit. And she's pretty. And Greybring's pretty quick on getting back up, so she can just fucking, like, wail on it.
And speaking of wailing, tripping and disarming and stuff like that, that does count against multiple attack penalties, right?
[00:50:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:50:23] Speaker C: Okay. Dope. Yeah, we just gotta hit it once then. Um, regular, regular punches, but that's fun to note.
Nat 20.
[00:50:37] Speaker B: A nat 20. Okay. Yeah, that is, uh, that will be a critical hit. Uh, and I will draw your card for you.
[00:50:45] Speaker C: Give me. Give me the card. Give me the cards.
[00:50:49] Speaker G: Beep. Harvey.
[00:50:59] Speaker B: This target, you get a tiring blow. The target will be fatigued.
[00:51:06] Speaker C: It's winded.
We double our thing, right? Our damage?
[00:51:14] Speaker B: Uh, yes, actually, I'm gonna give you a new card because it is immune to fatigue.
[00:51:18] Speaker C: Oh, okay. That's good to know.
Take that roll back.
[00:51:31] Speaker B: So it would become you. The card is numbing blow. It'll become clumsy one. And that's the thing it could become.
And double damage.
[00:51:43] Speaker C: 14. Bludgeoning.
[00:51:47] Speaker B: Uh, yeah. Uh, how do you want to deal with this thing?
[00:51:52] Speaker C: Ah.
Fucked titan wrestler. Um, uh, so kind of continuing the. The momentum gravewingen did before as she, like, pushed herself, rather, through her whole body to trip it.
You see her kind of, like, almost spin mid air to get back on her feet or her knees as she then just kind of does a really surprisingly big jump. And then with she tucks in her leg. So she lands knees first on top of its head and just cracks that jar open. And whatever was inside is completely eviscerated as it gets knee to head to jarmush.
Graving is also able to kind of, like, swap from knees to feet on her way down, so she's not landing knee first. But if you need another media touchpoint, visual fucking Robin from teen titans when he jumps off of a building and knees like an ink monster in the face. This, like, radical 13 year old, but, yeah, that.
[00:53:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
The alchemical golem lays on the ground as all of these chemicals leak out and sort of stain the floorboards.
It doesn't move. And you'll probably take, like, that moment to, like, listen, see if you hear anything else in the house.
Everything seems to be quiet for now, but we'll see how it goes next time.
Uh, tick, if you could take us out.

[00:54:19] Speaker B: We have five flipper reels.
[00:54:21] Speaker G: Oh, God, please. I'm not. I'm not beating the autism allegations with any of these.
But remember, stay safe, eat your human, and, yeah, that's about it.
[00:54:32] Speaker B: I'm not sold on eat your humans.
[00:54:34] Speaker C: I think becoming your vegetables.
[00:54:38] Speaker G: Come on. It was, eat your vegetables.
[00:54:40] Speaker A: No.
[00:54:40] Speaker G: To eat your people.
[00:54:41] Speaker A: No, no.
[00:54:45] Speaker F: Eat your human implies, like, eat domestic partner.
