[00:00:43] Speaker A: Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all these demons outlays around me in this red light it calls me he is reaching out Consuming.
[00:01:27] Speaker B: This heart behind hello everybody and welcome back to Goblets and Gaze. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell Servenoid players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing, and then we'll get rolling into things.
[00:01:39] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Maki. My friend is a she her and I play Gravewing, the Nagaji sylph vigilante monk slash air kineticist who also uses she her pronouns, and she is the party mom slash strategist of the Rebellion.
[00:01:57] Speaker D: Hello, Hello, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them and I play Leith Idrisi iv, the matricidal, dampier, dandy, rogue and spymaster who uses she any pronouns.
[00:02:13] Speaker E: Hello, I am Dusty, I use they he pronouns and I'm playing Yurido.
Just Yurido. Still, they are our Nephilim cursed boy of a problem.
They are going to be the party and is Rebellion's firebrand and they also use they he pronouns.
[00:02:35] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris, I use she her pronouns and I am playing Alouette Valer, a totally normal Nephilim thaumaturge bard having a very normal and good time learning all about her way more cursed family. She also uses she her pronouns and is the anathema partisan.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Hello, I am Sparlock, and both me and my character use he him pronouns.
I'm going by Alistair Whiskerfield, wizard detective extraordinaire, as heir to the fine, distinguished family of wizard mice, Ratzerts, Esoki, Arcanists, I swear I was always aware of it. I keep my whiskers to the ground to uncover the truth of the powers that be who subjugate us. By which I mean I'm our recruiter.
[00:03:26] Speaker F: And hello to round off the group. I am Tick, I have he, she, they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Nile, a flesh warp sorcerer who is just a totally ordinary cook and quartermaster for the group and definitely not a cannibal. Parentheses he's a cannibal, but it's a dietary restriction, so don't be too mean to him.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: So who wants to tell me what happened last time?
[00:03:49] Speaker D: Can it be me?
[00:03:51] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:03:52] Speaker F: Thank you.
So last time on Gays and Goblets that we played, actually a decent amount of time ago, we committed a lot of murder, but also they were cops, so it doesn't matter. You know, we fought off a bunch of the lamplighters who were kind of snitching around here. We woke up some person who was unconscious who had some interesting little vibe to them. They had like the plot hook energy of like an important NPC you can't leave behind in the village. And we. We kicked some butt. I definitely was definitely very helpful and didn't miss a lot. And Graveling definitely didn't carry the entire fight 100% and saved all of our asses. Thank you. Thank you, Graveling.
But as we finished up this dangerous fight, we met a man. I'm sorry. My brain just saved the information as cool space robot that came down from space.
[00:04:37] Speaker B: They're not really a space. Technically, yes, but no cool space robot.
[00:04:44] Speaker F: The exact details is, I'm pretty sure, Child of the Titans.
Question mark.
[00:04:49] Speaker B: Yeah, Child of the Titans.
[00:04:50] Speaker F: Yay. Child of the Titans, where the Titans are. Sure. But we met the child of the Titans who is one of very few amount of robots that are like, hey, we kind of just came out of some pods. We actually don't even know where we came from either. But we're. We're some pretty weird guys with some pretty weird magical bodies. And a lot of people want to do that thing called vivisection, which is not very cool. And lamplighters are like, oh, that's interesting. And we're like, how about we don't give the lamplighters any more power or any vibes. Actually, I think that's kind of cringe of us because. So we kind of just scrambled in and we have now befriended this person who I feel really bad I forgot her name.
[00:05:34] Speaker B: Marigold.
[00:05:35] Speaker F: Marigold.
[00:05:37] Speaker B: It's easier for her to say rather than call me model 471801D.
[00:05:44] Speaker F: Okay, so model 471801D has been added to our party as we are going to soon leave Nessie's chamber. Because Nessie is honestly just kind of concerned about her friend getting attacked, looks like, which is very cash money of her. Good for her. And I'm pretty sure we're going to end up recruiting like 17 different people as we finish up this arc. But currently we are on our way leaving. I totally didn't eat anyone. I just remembered that totally didn't commit any sort of weird cannibalism and also don't have Tet. I think, like, several of us have tetanus as well.
[00:06:12] Speaker B: But like, you'll learn in about 10 days.
[00:06:15] Speaker F: We'll learn about the actions of our consequences later. Faris. I'M sorry, that face haunts me that you just made. The sheer horror. Thank you. But, yeah, that is the lesson. More of it. We kicked some ass, we took some names, and one of them was very long and summarized to Marigold. And we are now adopting Kessie, Right?
[00:06:35] Speaker B: Yeah. You also got some loot between all of the people you murdered. There's about 60 gold.
Also valuables. There are two sets of lamplighter robes, unfortunately, rather bloodied.
Two holy symbols for the warden, two ornate lamplighter staves. Those are worth about five gold each if you want to sell them.
But they're these sort of staves that have these sort of hanging lamps from them that are usually lit by magical light.
You have one. One mole that the. The big dude had. Three kukri, the assassins. Two sets of holy blood leathers that are. Or three sets of holy blood leathers that are also very bloody from murdering the people that are wearing them.
You've got the collar of the shifting spider from the big guy, the flask of fellowship, a lesser rope of climbing, and four vials of bestial blood mutagen, which, if anybody ever takes, I will tell you what it does.
[00:07:55] Speaker F: Oh, I know what it does. That's one of my recipes.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: It's. It's actually. It's different. This is something. I've created homebrew for this.
[00:08:03] Speaker F: Oh. So God forbid I learn a recipe. No, I'm kidding.
[00:08:06] Speaker B: I'm not sure you want to learn this one. Let's just say.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Let's just say.
[00:08:13] Speaker B: But yes, you all head back into the water and swim.
Swim back through the tunnel to the sort of ruined temple at the bottom of the lake.
And when you two, you instantly see that. The very now familiar sight of the Cedric Kessie, you know, almost waiting for you to return, waiting for news. And as soon as Kessie sees Marigold, it's hard for a.
It's. It's like a dog. When you do return home, they are very excited and very happy to see their friend, and they sort of wrap Marigold up and they share a moment. Also, Marigold is a druid, and so, you know, is talking with Cassie, and eventually Cassie does let Marigold go, and you can start your swim back. The big question is, do you want to? Well, actually, you probably need to go back to the dwarf, because he has all of your stuff.
I was really like you theoretically could, just because you're about halfway through, like, you could cut the distance and just go back into the city and not have to go back through the Woods. But the dwarf has all of your stuff.
[00:09:44] Speaker A: Yeah, we're not showing up into the city in our underwear.
There are lines. Come on, we don't need any more.
[00:09:51] Speaker F: Rumors from the rich people. Come on.
[00:09:54] Speaker A: We don't want anyone talking about. Did you see the Doc street streakers?
[00:09:59] Speaker F: Those heroes of the dock Street.
[00:10:04] Speaker E: Scott Bandon.
[00:10:07] Speaker B: Yeah. So it probably takes you.
Actually takes you much less time to get out because of Cassie's help. You're all able to. Thanks to Marigold, you're all able to sort of grab on to. To Cassie and Cassie will swim you out.
So it takes much less time to get out than it did to get here. And before you know it.
[00:10:43] Speaker A: Me, me. Ferris. I don't care what Lou's up to. I'm having the best day of my life right now.
Freaking love this little, little dinosaur.
[00:10:53] Speaker B: Okay, so you eventually get to the point where the water is shallow enough that you can walk back onto shore and you see the very familiar sight of the. The small hut that Denerim the Dwarf has made.
Yeah, you slowly, you move, you collect all of your gear. Is there anything you wanted to do before you headed. You head back to the city because I'm going to need rolls because you'll be heading back through the watching.
[00:11:25] Speaker A: What did we remember to bring back our dear friend Aster?
[00:11:32] Speaker B: Yes. Okay.
[00:11:34] Speaker D: No, we just left them in the bottom of the sea.
[00:11:36] Speaker A: We've forgotten them so many times. Okay. It's not unlikely.
We had a whole battle without them because we forgot they were there.
[00:11:46] Speaker B: To be fair, they wouldn't have been able to help you anyways because they're not. They don't fight.
[00:11:51] Speaker A: That's not the point. They could have been in danger. So they could have taken some hits instead of us.
[00:11:57] Speaker F: Yeah, they could handle a couple hits, you know.
[00:11:58] Speaker A: Yes. This, this, we could have killed the dock master instead.
[00:12:02] Speaker C: All I'm going to say is if, if they didn't take any hits and that means they either hid super well or the GM also forgot about them. And I for one am not taking blame this month.
[00:12:18] Speaker B: I'm not going to say which it was.
[00:12:22] Speaker E: I'm just. Aubrey, if you could just put in like a blooper. Rolled a clip of like oh yeah, Aster's here.
Because I remember that you're going to.
[00:12:31] Speaker F: Record yourself saying oh, and Aster's here also and got a nat20 on hiding and you're just going to edit it and gaslight everyone.
[00:12:37] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:12:40] Speaker C: But I'm gonna say that it's still hilarious. It just means that Our survived. We kind of need them for a little bit.
[00:12:47] Speaker A: So I imagined Aster like in the water, like where just before it gets like shallow with just the eyes above just being like.
Oh.
[00:13:00] Speaker B: As they watch you murder everyone.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:13:04] Speaker A: Wow. Real hard considering going back the way they came.
[00:13:11] Speaker B: But yes, you all were given a ride back to shore by Cassie and you know, is there and anything you want to do before you head back through the watching yards? Because you'll have to make rolls.
[00:13:29] Speaker C: So I have a question.
I, I can't really communicate with Cassie, but I'm going to be under the assumption that Cassie can understand if, if we just start talking.
[00:13:42] Speaker B: I mean, Aster can talk for you because Aster is a druid, so an Aster. Aster can talk to Cassie.
[00:13:48] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Okay. That, that's dope too.
[00:13:55] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:13:55] Speaker C: Astra can't do, huh? That's.
[00:14:00] Speaker B: Astro could do medicine. So if anybody needs any medicine, Aster can patch you up.
But it's Marigold who can is a druid and can talk to Kessie.
[00:14:12] Speaker C: Dope.
I am gonna be asking Kessie if she's got any more extra scales lying around that she's not going to be using.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Yeah, you do that. And Marigold sort of says this to Cassie and very much seems like can communicate. And you watch as sort of Cassie sort of like rubs her nose against a part of her body and Marigold goes over and gently sort of pulls off these loose scales and will hand you four scales.
[00:14:56] Speaker C: Nice.
I'm then going to pull one off of me and offer it back because it's.
My scales are not as impressive or big as.
That's a lie. I have my snake tail. My snake tail might be actually have some pretty sizable scales, but it's just more of like a, a very nice little mutual offering here.
Later in the week when we do downtime, I am going to come back to the docks to just bring Kessie some food because the worm will get me if I don't. So, you know, very, very good things here to do.
But yeah, no, I, I, I basically intend to, to keep befriending Kessie with at least being chill neighbors, you know?
[00:15:50] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I mean like you've got, you've got Marigold now who can communicate and knows Cassie pretty well. So you've got a leg up on that for sure.
It's probably about like mid afternoon by the, by the time that you do get back up onto land and especially if you want to heal, because I know some of you took a Lot of damage in the fight, maybe.
[00:16:15] Speaker D: So I would like to let Astrid make themselves useful for once and heal me, please.
[00:16:24] Speaker B: Yeah, no, Aster will definitely patch you up. I'd say there's enough time that especially if you're just going to take as long as it takes, it'll probably be a couple hours to patch everyone up.
[00:16:37] Speaker E: But you could actually patch people up faster now. I could do it every 10 minutes instead of every hour.
[00:16:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Then if you work with.
[00:16:44] Speaker C: Start patching us up, please.
[00:16:46] Speaker B: Yeah, if you work with Aster, you can get it done in. I'd say probably in an hour.
Yeah.
[00:16:54] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:16:54] Speaker B: For no reason.
[00:16:55] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. I want. I could work on two people at a time and also could do it every 10 minutes now. So you'd probably be out here within an hour.
[00:17:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:17:08] Speaker A: That's to go to full or that's to go for a specific rolled number.
[00:17:15] Speaker B: Essentially you all can heal up to full if you spend the hour doing this.
[00:17:19] Speaker F: Why not? Thank you, Aubrey.
[00:17:24] Speaker B: And eventually you all leave to head back into the city. And I'm going to need either nature or survival rolls from people.
[00:17:34] Speaker C: I have a question actually.
Isn't the lake chill now? Can't we just go back through the lake?
[00:17:42] Speaker B: You could. Yeah, you could. You could essentially go over the lake through and sort of.
[00:17:48] Speaker E: So we'll go back, get our stuff and then go back towards the lake.
[00:17:51] Speaker C: To, to like get a boat and go out like does.
[00:17:54] Speaker A: Because before we have a boat.
[00:17:56] Speaker E: Is there a boat that hasn't been broken?
[00:17:58] Speaker B: Yeah, there's like a little rowboat that you could. Maybe I'll fit in turn.
[00:18:03] Speaker C: I'll go back in and swim. As long as the, the, the my stuff doesn't like get wet. It's just, it just makes more sense to like, why would we go back into the woods like when we can just go back through the lake?
[00:18:17] Speaker E: You bring this up. Sure. Where's. Other side lake where we'll be exiting?
[00:18:22] Speaker B: Essentially you would be heading into the. The, like the, the narrows, the. The dock district.
[00:18:29] Speaker E: Oh, so just take us right there.
[00:18:31] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Like. So, like the reason why we didn't go through the lake before is because we're like, there's something wrong with the lake. We gotta go around and find them, Right?
[00:18:38] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:18:38] Speaker C: But now that we should. Yeah, exactly. We solved the problem of the lake. We might as well just take the time to go back through the lake. Worst case scenario, we get jumped at the lake. But we got Cassie now.
[00:18:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:48] Speaker C: And I, I love Lapras, the Pokemon.
[00:18:51] Speaker E: So let's not Put Kessie in danger.
[00:18:53] Speaker C: Kessie is a big ass. Like, Kessie is the general danger. That's the reason why we didn't go, like, the.
What are you gonna do, get tetanus again?
[00:19:04] Speaker E: I don't even know I got tetanus.
But yes. Okay.
[00:19:08] Speaker A: I think I support the boat plan.
[00:19:10] Speaker E: It's a great idea, I guess. Here we will row.
[00:19:13] Speaker B: Yep. There is a boat. It will take you. Yeah, it'll probably. You'll be getting back. Probably once it's getting on until night. It's probably gonna take you a few hours to row across the lake with people, sort of even with Kessie probably giving you favorable tides. I don't know.
[00:19:35] Speaker C: Yeah, but we got.
[00:19:36] Speaker A: We got time. Can we, like, be pulled by Kessie like a jet ski? Like a. Like we're skiing? I'm kidding.
[00:19:44] Speaker B: But also, maybe it's such an idea you bring up. You might be able to convince Marigold.
[00:19:50] Speaker F: I would call this the Orange Islands. And we're gonna ride on Nessie's back across the lake.
[00:19:54] Speaker A: We kind of already did.
[00:19:56] Speaker C: We are. We are. Like, yes. Yes. Yes. I'm gonna say yes as a treat. Some of us in the boat, some of us swimming with Cassie. Some of us just straight up on Cassie, I think, as long as she's okay with it.
[00:20:11] Speaker B: Yep. But, yeah, no, I mean, you saved Cassie's friend, and Cassie is happy.
So, you know, if. If Marigold asks, you do. Some of you can ride on Kessie's back, some of you can swim, some be in the rowboat.
It will take several hours to sort of just cross the lake. And it's getting on towards night.
It's a little over halfway through the week.
And eventually you get back to the narrows. And it certainly is a bit of a spectacle as you arrive.
And certain people are maybe a little surprised to see because essentially, anytime that the Cassie has been showing up at any of the docks, the they've been attacking things and eating whatever food.
Yeah. You're able to get up onto the docks, and I imagine you're all wearing your masks.
[00:21:22] Speaker F: Oh, of course. We gotta be in, like, costume when we make a statement. Climbing off the sea monster's back after, like, dealing with the issue, actually.
[00:21:30] Speaker A: Do we want to make a statement here? Do we want to not just, like, visually claim it, but to, like, make a statement like, we have solved the problem. We are anathema. We're here to help.
[00:21:41] Speaker F: How high is our danger rating right now? Because maybe that would be a good idea. I'm not sure if it'll provoke anything else.
[00:21:47] Speaker C: You don't know yet.
[00:21:48] Speaker B: You don't know until the next rebellion phase rolls around.
[00:21:52] Speaker A: This would be the second time we would claim something helpful.
[00:21:57] Speaker C: As of now. As of now for this week, 11.
[00:22:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: Spicy with it.
[00:22:04] Speaker B: I kind of want to be a.
[00:22:05] Speaker F: Little spicy with it. I'm not going to lie.
[00:22:07] Speaker C: There is literally no better time to do so. Unless, like, we literally just start quite literally, like doing petty crime. Be like anathema, like, and I hit my mic, my bed.
[00:22:20] Speaker A: The only reason I can think of to not do it is that if there is deeper investigation into the lake, there are some burned corpses in a cave that if those were found because they knew where to look for them, then they can trace it to anathema directly.
[00:22:35] Speaker C: Those were lamplighters and wardens. They already know.
[00:22:38] Speaker A: Okay, yeah.
[00:22:39] Speaker C: Like, they are going. They're going to know and then whether it's our fault or not, we'll probably get the blame. So we might as well just be like street cred.
We got to build street cred before we start denying it is. Is where I'm at.
[00:22:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm more in favor of definitely making a statement here, like a literal statement than not. But just wanted to make sure we were considering the options carefully.
[00:23:08] Speaker F: Yeah. I mean, we do have a role that is dedicated to making statements in our. In our little thing.
[00:23:15] Speaker E: Who's that?
[00:23:16] Speaker F: Don't we have like a face to the.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:23:19] Speaker D: What's that, Lou? Who's our face?
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Only two nobles.
I think the rat does it for the common people. I don't know if it matters.
[00:23:28] Speaker C: The rat.
[00:23:29] Speaker A: Alistair.
[00:23:30] Speaker C: Sorry.
[00:23:30] Speaker B: I don't know why.
[00:23:31] Speaker C: Disrespectful Alistair, the great mouse detective Alistair is the recruiter. That is our. That is technically the person who would be making a lot of the statements.
[00:23:42] Speaker E: It should be grieving though, right?
[00:23:45] Speaker C: It can be.
[00:23:46] Speaker E: It should be graving because you're the one that people know, especially in this district.
[00:23:50] Speaker C: That's true. That's true. We are in quite literally grave wings area.
[00:23:54] Speaker F: Plus you're also on milf, so even if people don't know you well, they'll definitely appreciate you.
[00:23:57] Speaker C: Anyways, I. I don't even think I'm gonna be so I'm gonna be really.
[00:24:01] Speaker E: Like, kind of meta public face.
[00:24:04] Speaker A: No, it's not.
[00:24:05] Speaker E: You're a secret milf.
[00:24:06] Speaker C: I'm a secret milk. You can. No, I mean, I think I'm within the MILFY age range. Or people can be like, ah, that's A milf. You know, it's an aura. Yeah, yeah, but what. What I'm gonna say is I don't even think I need to make much of a statement.
Like, if I'm. I'm getting real meta with it right now. If I've been a superhero vigilante in this area that's already well known for the past 10 years, I think me showing up and people seeing is relatively enough just because we've established that lowkey already with the Clockwork Union. But I, I.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: For.
[00:24:45] Speaker C: For the sake of narrative, I will still do a little, I guess, speech if we really, really want to. Just don't you dare make me roll diplomacy.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: Yeah, it was hilarious. I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to roll intimidation.
[00:25:01] Speaker C: One second, One second.
[00:25:05] Speaker A: Well, scare the people.
[00:25:06] Speaker C: I have intimidation. I do have society. That's what I've been doing mostly with society. If you give me society. Don't we live in a society?
[00:25:17] Speaker B: Sure. You technically could do society.
[00:25:19] Speaker A: Thank you.
[00:25:21] Speaker C: I need you to know I've been doing nothing but taking society, like, skill feats on the side because I need all the help I could get.
I really decided to be Batman. With no charisma, but all there is, that's Batman exactly like. Oh, my God. Unless I'm adopting you or you, you're gonna really not enjoying my. My time.
Sorry, double checking what my stat was. Okay.
27.
[00:25:55] Speaker B: 27. Yeah. What do you say?
[00:26:01] Speaker C: Okay, I'm. I'mma paint us a little picture. First.
We ride in dead of night.
Kessie is essentially the headlights of this vehicle.
And then there's a boat. We disembark. We're on, like, the docks.
Some workers see us. Maybe the locals that live here see us. I'm 100% thinking of Docktown right now because Nevgalis has my entire life.
So does Minrathis. So that's what I'm picturing right now. So you guys know, like, visually what I'm thinking The area is like.
[00:26:47] Speaker B: It's a good. It's a good vibe for the area.
[00:26:49] Speaker A: It's.
[00:26:50] Speaker C: It's a. Basically, it's. Here's the harbor, here's the docks, here's the ships, and then Stu's house is, like, five steps from the nearest dock. So it is a area where the poor, the homeless, the dock workers all kind of have to share a space because there's an over.
I wouldn't say overpopulation, but in this area, there's too many poor people that have to also now work in this little area and it's also really late at night. So we understand what's happening here. I will play out this classism.
Disembark graveling will look at everybody, kind of raise a hand, look at the rest of us to make sure that we're all wearing our masks and just say, your problem solved.
[00:27:54] Speaker B: And it's sort of at that point where Aster will sort of take the lead on this. Being the dockmaster.
You see as they approach someone there who also looks like they probably have some sort of influence, quite possibly the leader of the shipbuilders union, they start sort of conversing quietly and they sort of point and they're gesticulating and they're. They're kind of giving you time to essentially be feet, get out of here.
But they are going to take over the, over this and sort of settle things, get things moving again since the attacks will stop so the shipbuilders union can get back to work.
It'll take a few days, but by next week things should be going on again.
[00:28:48] Speaker C: I think the most I will do is. I'm used to people coming up to talk to me actually. I think it's. I think, I think it's the real. It's.
I have enough decent rep in. In the poorer districts where I'm not going to like swing on random civilians, you know what I mean? I think I also have enough street cred to not get pickpocketed by poor little children.
But it's when it's those like kind of more.
I wouldn't call them intimate, but there it's a little bit more private. Like I'm not doing a big boastful. We're anthema. It's more like when that happens and they ask like, who's your new crew be? Like, well, it's a bigger crew now or the anathema. And that's how word's gonna spread. Real like it's low key until it's not, you know.
[00:29:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you do that. And also like as you're doing this, it's like you watch like miracle. They have a hood on their sort of jacket and they pull it up sort of like over their hair and they push the hair back because the hair itself glows.
So they're doing their best to hide it and sort of keep their head down and kind of stick to your backs as you start moving through.
And I guess the big question is, where do you want to head.
[00:30:22] Speaker A: Bro?
[00:30:24] Speaker E: Probably throw and hammer, right? Yeah, I think that's probably just be the safest Cuz we have people that are watching up front.
[00:30:33] Speaker C: Yeah, that would also be the safest for Marigold. I think it's a tavern full of assassins. Like, I think that's actually the safest place for Marigold right now.
[00:30:46] Speaker B: Quite possibly, yeah.
So you move back through the districts and heading to the familiar tavern. It's.
It's.
It's late on Wheel Day, the third of Windfall and. Or Windvale, and it's for the crow and hammer. Seems to be a bit of a quiet night, but it still means that the. It's. The place is full and people are enjoying themselves. Just not full to bursting like it is it some nights. But I also imagine you go into the hidden tavern underneath, where only the blades go.
Now that you are here, what would you like to do? Are you going to introduce Marigold to anyone?
[00:31:49] Speaker C: I mean, yeah, it feels real intrusive to not introduce her to Lorelei, the owner the bloody blades herself. So, yeah, definitely.
God, Clover too. All right, right? That's the right name, right? It's Clover, not Clove.
[00:32:14] Speaker B: Clover.
[00:32:15] Speaker C: Okay.
Honestly, whoever's in charge first, so that way we can explain the situation and kind of what we just did. I think it's important to keep our allies in the loop.
[00:32:30] Speaker B: There is a small area sort of in the.
In the bar that's sort of closed off that Lorelai uses when she needs to have meetings and having private conversations. So you all can sort of head in there. Lorelai will order. Just get a round of drinks for everybody as you all sort of introduce. And Lorelai will sort of circle like she's sizing Marigold up and sort of just taking a look and understanding this person. And Marigold is just sort of standing there like if she could sweat, she'd be sweating.
And Lorelei says to her, more than happy to offer you a place to stay, but everyone here pays their way. Skills, money, anything you can.
And Marigold nods and says, I understand plants, herbs, creatures, and can heal. Heal people. I've got a little bit of magic. And Lorelei goes, I'm sure we'll find a use for you, but yes.
Lorelai hands Marigold off to Clover, and Clover takes Marigold to Marigold's new room and then turns back to the rest of you and says, you've all been busy.
[00:34:05] Speaker A: Oh, you've heard.
Hmm?
[00:34:10] Speaker B: I mean it.
Rumors are swirling everywhere, including some very interesting ones.
[00:34:21] Speaker C: Oh, like what?
[00:34:23] Speaker B: Well, I'm guessing it was the two of you who broke into Lady Hadrisi's house and attempted to kidnap Her.
[00:34:41] Speaker A: Is it breaking in if it's my residence?
[00:34:45] Speaker B: I think you have been disowned. So technically.
[00:34:53] Speaker C: Awp, womp. Don't worry. You've got.
You've had a questionable family. Now you've got an even more questionable one.
[00:35:06] Speaker B: I have to go meet with someone from Coffin Walk. I should be back tomorrow or later tonight.
[00:35:19] Speaker C: Cough and walk at this time of night?
[00:35:22] Speaker B: I'll be fine.
[00:35:24] Speaker C: Well, I know you will be. It's whoever you run into that I'm worried about.
[00:35:29] Speaker B: They may not be fine.
[00:35:33] Speaker A: Your other powerful entity in the Coffin Walk, last I was aware.
[00:35:41] Speaker E: Except for bogeyman.
[00:35:45] Speaker B: Totally noted.
Not what I'm going there for, but I will certainly keep my eye out.
Someone is causing some problems for some people who are under my protection there. So I have to make sure that. That that person doesn't cause problems.
[00:36:03] Speaker E: Well, if you need backup.
[00:36:05] Speaker B: I'll be fine. I generally prefer working alone.
And you're still wearing your mask. Griping, right?
[00:36:17] Speaker C: Yeah, I. I think it makes more sense to always assume that I am wearing a mask unless they state otherwise.
[00:36:24] Speaker B: That's true. True. True. True. So you get a kiss on the forehead, the mask, before she leaves.
[00:36:30] Speaker C: Nice. I don't say nice. This is me. This is Aki saying nice.
[00:36:36] Speaker B: And you are. You are left to your own devices. You have essentially three days left of the week.
You've been very busy for this first half of the week.
[00:36:52] Speaker C: Can we do miscellaneous downtime two?
[00:36:55] Speaker B: Yeah, you do miscellaneous downtime. You can take any downtime actions. If there's any smaller things that you want to do, conversations with NPCs, PCs, anything that you would like to do during this time.
[00:37:10] Speaker C: I would. Very specific. Well, I said before, like to come back and give Kessie some food offerings that aren't just rations.
So there's that. That I will do occasion nebulously.
I want to have a combo with Lou later. That's what I wrote.
Later. Though I don't. It can happen. Other people can go first. But the one thing I want to do for sure that doesn't require role playing, but might require roles.
I want to go to a crafts worker of sorts. That way I can get these scales made into some jewelry.
[00:37:58] Speaker B: Oh yeah, that's not going to take a role. It'll take some money.
Not that much money. Because you're not like trying to make magical jewelry or anything so sentimental at this point. Yeah, I'll say. Like, how many do you want to be made? 1 multiple. For all the children?
[00:38:16] Speaker C: Yeah, all the children. Including the Small ones. And in this case, Proxima gets counted with kids. So that's four. I want one for Lorelei. That's five. I'll make one for Laith. So that's six. I want six.
[00:38:32] Speaker B: Six.
[00:38:32] Speaker C: I have eight scales and they're, they're, they're Kessie size scales.
[00:38:37] Speaker B: They're like hand size.
[00:38:39] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I remember they were like. They're pretty, they're pretty sizable.
But if I need more material, I have my own scales, which is also fine for me to use. I don't mind mixing materials. But, you know, it's. It's very much the vibe.
[00:38:53] Speaker B: The eight scales. You can make the six pieces because you're. They're not going to be like massive pieces or anything.
[00:38:59] Speaker C: No, no.
[00:39:00] Speaker B: Very, very simple stuff.
[00:39:01] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I'm thinking like, like I'm assuming like earrings for most of my kids. Except for the baby. The baby's getting like a straight up like a pendant or something like that. Because it's a baby.
Lorelei will get if I can just a two set bangle. Like so the thicker ones just like that. But I'd like two. And I don't know what kind of jewelry person lathe is. A lathe is going to just get also appended where it's just kind of like you can decide if you have the right string. Like, you know, like that kind of vibe.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I'd say something like that will probably take about a week's worth of work from this crafter and about five gold.
[00:39:53] Speaker C: It's a good thing that I have gold.
I need you guys to know that before we had. We were like, okay, we're going to start putting things into group stuff. Any money I found, I kept. I'm not giving it back. So I have money for a bit, which is fun.
Oh yeah. Okay.
[00:40:17] Speaker B: That's.
[00:40:18] Speaker C: He said five, right? Five gold.
[00:40:20] Speaker B: Five gold.
[00:40:21] Speaker C: Okay. Dope. Okay, I did it.
[00:40:26] Speaker E: I. I did have two things. I actually wanted to have a talk with Leith at one point.
And I wanted to go talk to a cousin in salvation row, another Moran, to get some info.
So that could be like getting gossip, I guess. Even though I'm terrible at charisma.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You could do that.
[00:40:57] Speaker E: Yeah, I don't.
If other people have other stuff, it does need to be in a specific order.
[00:41:06] Speaker B: Whoever wants to go first, go first.
[00:41:11] Speaker E: I'll go get some dirt then.
[00:41:14] Speaker F: Please, my brain.
[00:41:16] Speaker E: I'm going to go to either that night or the next day, go visit my cousin. That's where. On talking basis. But that's pretty much it.
It's Alice, right? Alice Moran is in Salvation Row. And they're also the.
[00:41:43] Speaker B: The. They are the senator for Salvation Row.
[00:41:50] Speaker E: Okay. Before I completely go out, before I approach them, before I leave, actually I should figure this out. How well known is it is that we were arrested? Pretty well known, right?
[00:42:15] Speaker B: Pretty well known.
[00:42:18] Speaker E: Maybe I don't do this. This actually sounds like a bad idea.
I would like to go and mask around Salvation Row and talk to the locals to see if they've heard anything. Whack.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: Yeah, give me. We'll do. We'll do a gossip roll.
It is a diplomacy check.
I will say it is a. A D to collect usable rumors. You're going to get rumors no matter what are these are usable or not.
[00:42:54] Speaker E: Since I'm looking about gossip about other stuff maybe. Think I use legal lore.
Sure.
[00:43:04] Speaker B: That would definitely influence the kind of rumors that you get.
[00:43:08] Speaker E: It is the kind of stuff I'm looking for specifically.
Okay, that brings it from a plus two to a plus seven.
Hell yeah. I didn't make that with a plus two, but a plus seven, that's 23.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: A 23. So you do pick up a rumor sort of about, you know, like what in particular were you looking for rumors on? Just like using legal or talks about.
[00:43:41] Speaker E: People influencing the union, busting stuff.
[00:43:48] Speaker B: So there's a lot of talk about people being worried because of all of these automatons going haywire and attacking people. And it seems like Finian can't do anything.
And there's a more and more of a sentiment of people being scared and slowly starting to be swayed by somebody who promises to do something, you know, and especially since Finian cannot give anybody a good answer.
It's a slowly rising sentiment. It's nowhere near enough where you feel like Finian and might get voted out yet. But there seems to be a growing discontent with this because they can't offer protection. They can't do anything to stop it.
[00:44:54] Speaker E: Is there any mentions of people that is starting to gain favor at all over it?
[00:45:01] Speaker B: Is Alexander Scriabin.
[00:45:07] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:45:10] Speaker E: Great. Yeah, I think Yuri. I'll say. Just for clarification, Yuri is going out on the mask.
Probably not wearing the.
The big cool coat as much. Maybe wearing something less recognizable.
We'll go around, get that info and then you know, save it. Make sure to share with everyone once we have like a huddle or whatever.
[00:45:40] Speaker B: Right? Yeah, you've got. You've got that rumor. And it's just the rising discontent and fear in the district seems to be Growing. And they haven't had a new. Good answer for the last.
The last attack. But it's not been a week yet, and these attacks seem to happen once a week, so.
So, Lou, how you doing?
[00:46:13] Speaker A: Great. Totally fine. Nothing bad happening here.
Not the first night, but just at some point during the week. Can I go talk to Conix and Lorelei? Not at the same time. I have very different conversations I want to have. We don't actually have to role play the conics conversation necessarily. I just want to know what his deal is. I want to know who he is, what's he about, why'd he help us, what's his. Who is he? Why is he here?
[00:46:43] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just. Just for shits and giggles. Give me, give me. Give me a diplomacy roll and I'll tell you what you learn about conics through said roll.
[00:47:02] Speaker A: Haven't seen. I lost this dice and I finally found it. So we'll see if that means it's gonna be mad that I lost it or happy it's been found.
Mad. It's mad.
It's upset. What do you say?
[00:47:20] Speaker B: Diplomacy?
[00:47:22] Speaker A: Thankfully, I have diplomacy. So that's going to be a 17.
[00:47:26] Speaker B: A 17.
[00:47:27] Speaker A: I rolled a six.
[00:47:32] Speaker B: Conic will tell you that he.
He most certainly he owed a. A debt to Helena and that's how he got roped into all of this. Helena called in that marker and he didn't roll high enough for this. But he. He certainly. He drops the hint that he is part of a group that Helena worked with and that's how they met and.
And where the. The debt had been incurred.
[00:48:14] Speaker A: Does he like working with us?
[00:48:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, he does. And he does say it is. The work that you're all doing is very similar to work he's done before. So.
[00:48:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Buys him a drink before and after the conversation.
[00:48:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:36] Speaker A: And then I also want to talk to Lorelai just whenever there's a chance.
[00:48:43] Speaker B: Yeah, Lorelei is around quite often during these days, so you can catch her usually in her office and upstairs or somewhere at the bar downstairs, or you can separate her from graveling.
[00:49:08] Speaker A: Definitely want to have this conversation away from other people as privately as possible.
[00:49:16] Speaker B: So you could. You can head to her office during, you know, she sort of has the.
Essentially where the. The. The owner for the. The bar, like the innkeeper, like where their office would be that's hers. So she works out of that.
[00:49:33] Speaker A: Yeah. So yeah, Lou will go into the office at some point when Lorelei does not seem busy and will like just be the picture of Polite etiquette like curtsies and says, mother of the bloody blades. If. If you're not engaged in anything pressing, would it be all right if I asked you a personal question that you are not under any obligation to answer? Of course.
[00:50:05] Speaker B: So as you enter the office and say it, she currently has her boots kicked up on the desk.
She has a throwing knife in one hand, and you can see on the wall there's a target with a very angry drawing on it. The she looks like she's been throwing knives at for the past 10, 15 minutes.
[00:50:28] Speaker A: Is the face anyone I've seen before, or is it just a random drawing?
[00:50:32] Speaker B: Unfortunately, drawing is not on Lorelai's set of skills. So kind of just looks like an angry. It's a frowny face.
[00:50:42] Speaker F: Sure.
[00:50:42] Speaker B: With horns.
And she'll look at you and just say, just close the door. I will sort of kick her boots off the desk and move to sit and point at the chair that's across from the desk and say, take a seat.
I'll answer questions within reason.
[00:51:11] Speaker A: Lou will obey, but glance at the subject of the knives, sit down, and then also be like, if it is a bad time, I don't have to be here.
[00:51:27] Speaker B: No, you're fine. I was just getting out some frustrations with knives.
The senator of the district and I had a conversation, and she would just grow a goddamn backbone.
[00:51:44] Speaker A: Ah, yes, I can see why that would be troubling for sure.
If. If it is not too bold to ask, I was wondering if I might inquire a little bit into your state of being.
Not in an attempt to pry, of course, just in an attempt to better understand those like you and necessary needs they may or may not have.
But if that is too personal, I won't have to ask anything. I can leave immediately.
[00:52:31] Speaker B: No, it's fine.
And most of the time, Lorelai is wearing her mask and you know, you know, you watch her. She'll sort of pull it off and sort of set it on table in front of her and you know, she sort of like. Kind of like pulls up the lip and just sort of touched the fang and. Just saying. Talking about the state of being.
[00:53:00] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:53:02] Speaker B: Well, I. It kind of varies from Dhamfir to d fear. Some of us are more connected to our parents lineage than others.
My mother's bloodline was very strong.
I honestly don't know. I haven't seen the sun, so I don't know if that would affect me in any way.
But I don't need blood to survive.
But it is like a person living on an improper diet. If I don't have it, would it.
[00:53:54] Speaker A: Make you weak and prone to not.
I don't know, fainting?
[00:54:07] Speaker B: I suppose I wouldn't be. That wouldn't go that far. But I would be irritable, tired, liable to make rash decisions. Nothing clearly.
[00:54:29] Speaker A: Hmm. That just sounds like people.
[00:54:35] Speaker B: I didn't get where I am today by being rash and making rushed decisions.
[00:54:45] Speaker A: Lou makes a mental note of that and files that away for later.
[00:54:52] Speaker B: Yeah, kind of like runs a hand along the scar on her face as she says that.
[00:55:00] Speaker A: If there was a person who was temporary and they were not imbibing in blood, would you be able to tell? Not you specifically necessarily, just generally. If one knew, would they be able to tell?
[00:55:23] Speaker B: As I said, depends on the D Fear. I know some people. Some d Fears go their entire lives without needing to drink blood.
There's actually some. There's a. An entire bloodline that actually lives off of psychic energy.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: Oh no. I don't think it's that scenario.
I do get a headache a lot from them. So maybe.
[00:55:54] Speaker B: But you.
It is.
It could be many things.
I think you might want to ask that person the question if they do need blood to survive or not.
[00:56:07] Speaker A: I'm fairly certain that if I did, they would not tell me.
Maybe they would tell someone else, but they would definitely not tell me.
[00:56:19] Speaker B: Well, if you do talk to them, you can let them know that.
[00:56:29] Speaker A: The.
[00:56:30] Speaker B: House of ill repute here will. Some of the girls there will enjoy it.
And there is a. A butcher in this district who I buy blood from.
He will sell you some for couple silver.
[00:56:52] Speaker A: That's not bad at all.
Pretty good price actually.
Thank you very much for your assistance and patience. I appreciate the insight into. Into that I won't bother you any further. But I appreciate your help.
[00:57:16] Speaker B: Of course.
Do you need anything? Need anything else?
Need me to stealthily hand them some blood, let me know.
[00:57:29] Speaker A: I appreciate that. I think I'm going to just maybe drop a pamphlet in zerback. That seems like a subtle answer that cannot possibly be misconstrued because you don't know who it came from.
[00:57:45] Speaker B: Good luck with that.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: Thank you. You know, very good at miscommunication.
Anyway, thank you. Goodbye.
[00:57:56] Speaker B: Goodbye. Have a good day.
[00:58:00] Speaker A: Gonna go. Go.
[00:58:03] Speaker D: Showing zero signs of poor judgment.
Laith would like to not break into but and not really even case but kind of hang out around listen for rumors about the Scriabins. In general we know they have sort of out of house maids. So maybe from some of the maids at if any of them Come to this bar or another bar in the poor person areas of town. Just, you know, keeping an ear out.
[00:58:46] Speaker B: Well, you're going to. I would say this is going to be a hard role for this diplomacy.
[00:58:59] Speaker D: 30.
[00:59:01] Speaker B: 30.
Yeah. You managed to hear from.
From some mates in one of the bars.
It's rumors about they're all scared to go work at the house because people keep going missing and then they just never return. And they're just told that they took a job somewhere else in the city.
It's.
And it is always.
It was. The last one to vanish was actually about 5 days ago on the 29th of sad one.
[01:00:05] Speaker D: Lovely.
And then the other thing I would like to do on my downtime is as a dandy, I can influence rumors.
[01:00:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:19] Speaker D: And I don't want to influence this Scriabin rumor. That sounds bad enough for them. Instead, I would like to influence the rumors about the break in that happened at the Adrisi house.
And this I want to sort of influence at the level of, like, petty nobles and like, offskirts who might be, you know, looking to gain a little power or looking to sort of edge their way into the Unbroken. And I want to basically suggest that Leith breaking in to try and kill her mother again is sort of an easy cover up for another noble or member of the Unbroken trying to take advantage of the situation. And I basically just want to cause a little discord or distrust, if I can.
[01:01:11] Speaker B: All right.
[01:01:18] Speaker A: We can use luck on these.
[01:01:22] Speaker B: Can you use hero points?
[01:01:23] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:01:24] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:01:26] Speaker D: That one's worse. Has it been it just ticked over to the hour.
[01:01:34] Speaker B: Yes. Yes, it did.
[01:01:36] Speaker D: Okay. Hell yeah. That is, I think another 30. Yeah, that's a 30.
[01:01:40] Speaker B: 30. Okay. Yeah, you're able to plant these. And we'll see how things go over the next week as you sort of try to shift the conversation in these rumors.
[01:01:58] Speaker D: Beautiful. And that is all I'm doing.
Do I get unfatigued?
[01:02:04] Speaker B: Yes, you would. After the first day.
All it takes is one day of rest.
[01:02:08] Speaker D: One day rest.
[01:02:09] Speaker C: Nice.
Yes.
[01:02:12] Speaker D: That is my cool and rational down times.
[01:02:15] Speaker B: Rational downtime. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:02:21] Speaker E: Brave wing or Niall, want to go before someone else goes again?
[01:02:29] Speaker C: Niall, you go. Because technically I would be go. I am the one to go again, buddy.
[01:02:35] Speaker F: I am an antisocial cook that doesn't like talking to people. I kind of just.
[01:02:39] Speaker B: The only thing you have an alchemist that you keep saying you need to go talk to Aubrey.
[01:02:44] Speaker F: You. I was thinking, like, I could do that. But then the little knife in your back brain is like, oh, conveniently. When you have tetanus, you're going to go visit your doctor. How suspicious. And, like, shut up.
[01:02:52] Speaker E: You don't know you have tetanus.
[01:02:54] Speaker F: Okay, yeah, I know. That's the thing. It's like, wow, how convenient. Can I. Can I just show up or do I have to book an appointment?
[01:03:00] Speaker B: Aubrey, she's a student. She's not an actual doctor. I know.
You know, you can. You generally know the time that she's at home.
[01:03:14] Speaker F: Would it be a good idea to bring someone else so I'm not alone? Because we're technically not wanted criminals, and.
[01:03:19] Speaker B: You'Ll be traveling through multiple districts. You'll have to go to the Ravenswood district, where the Ravenswood Academy is.
[01:03:27] Speaker F: Yeah. Again, would it be a good idea to bring someone or, like, for emotional support?
[01:03:32] Speaker B: That's a huge. That's a huge question.
[01:03:33] Speaker F: Anyone want to come to the Ravenswood district for emotional support?
Oh, my God, Lou.
[01:03:41] Speaker C: Wow.
[01:03:42] Speaker F: We're making it a little fun outing.
[01:03:46] Speaker B: Now.
[01:03:47] Speaker F: I will just ask, like, if anyone's not free, can. Can you come with me to the Alchemist? I need to go on a visit. You know, it's not too much trouble.
[01:03:56] Speaker A: I'll go.
[01:03:57] Speaker F: Oh, thanks, Lou. And I will. I. I will take you with me.
I am stealing the woman.
Perfect. Any checks involved?
[01:04:12] Speaker B: You will probably want to keep a low profile as you enter the Ravenswood Academy district.
So if you want to give me stealth checks.
[01:04:20] Speaker F: Oh, yippee. All right. Cracks every bone in my body. Let's look at this.
[01:04:26] Speaker A: What if I can't help Nile? What if I put on an illusory disguise?
[01:04:32] Speaker B: Then that helps even more.
And if you're doing that, you won't have to roll.
[01:04:38] Speaker A: I will do that.
I'm gonna just pull out my little compact mirror, pick a new face out of it, think the shadow gets a little weird on it, and then voila. Nulu.
[01:04:55] Speaker F: New Lou, new you.
[01:04:58] Speaker A: That's the idea.
[01:05:00] Speaker F: I did not come prepared with this, so I have to roll a self check.
Wow. It's a good thing I've been sitting in the background and not, not, not doing anything with my hero points that I have a bunch of. Just to hoard it in the background. You know, hypothetically, you have two. Well, hypothetically, I'm gonna have one in about a second.
Okay. That is more acceptable. That's a 24 in total.
[01:05:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:05:35] Speaker B: Yeah. You.
You do this and, you know, you just. You've been to this district before. It's easy to.
Of the. All of the districts on this side of the. The River. It is the most heavily guarded and you enter. And so the Ravenswood district is one of the. Is a very old district in the city. You can. Most of it is taken up by the massive almost castle that is the Ravenswood Academy, this sort of giant gothic building.
And.
But it also does have housing for teachers and students here, as well as some small shops and things like that.
And Indigo is in the sort of. Not necessarily in. They're in the student housing. So you know where it is and you can go and knock on the door. If both of you want to give me perception checks, my eyes will be opened.
[01:06:51] Speaker A: Hey, I rolled a Natural 17, baby.
[01:06:56] Speaker F: I rolled a Nat 20 and I'm mad it wasn't on the cooking check.
[01:07:00] Speaker A: High five.
[01:07:01] Speaker F: I don't want this. I wish I did better on the cooking check.
[01:07:05] Speaker B: That's a 28.
[01:07:06] Speaker A: I haven't rolled as well in weeks. Woo. That's so cool.
[01:07:10] Speaker F: I got 27, but it's not 20, so it's cooler by default.
[01:07:16] Speaker B: So as you approach the this sort of small house, you just cannot shake the feeling that you are being or that not necessarily you are being watched, but this house is being watched.
[01:07:33] Speaker F: Lou, do you feel this?
[01:07:36] Speaker A: I do.
So this is kind of what it felt like around my dad's house.
[01:07:44] Speaker F: Should we do a little bit of snooping?
[01:07:48] Speaker A: Sure.
[01:07:49] Speaker F: If anyone's stalking Indigo, I would like to deal with them as quickly as possible.
[01:07:54] Speaker A: All right.
Don't do anything dangerous and stay within like 500ft of me.
[01:08:09] Speaker F: Very specific number that I will definitely, probably will not be able to leave.
[01:08:13] Speaker A: Count your steps.
[01:08:16] Speaker F: All right, I'll count every single step. And try not to move out of 500ft.
[01:08:20] Speaker A: Perfect.
[01:08:21] Speaker F: Maybe just a cursory, like, glance around to see if I can notice anything now that I'm like, this is being watched. Do I see anyone that's like watching suspiciously, like from another building or like.
[01:08:31] Speaker B: I don't know, you know, Give me another perception check.
[01:08:42] Speaker F: Me when I perceive things.
That is a dirty 20. A filthy, dirty, nasty 20.
[01:08:59] Speaker B: Lou, are you also going to roll a perception check?
[01:09:01] Speaker A: Oh, sure.
[01:09:03] Speaker F: The speechlessness of it.
[01:09:08] Speaker B: Cool.
[01:09:08] Speaker A: That lasted a good long time. How about 13?
[01:09:14] Speaker F: Oh, no.
[01:09:15] Speaker B: So, Lou, you get a little bit distracted with a corpse. A flock of corpse moths.
[01:09:22] Speaker A: Using a flock of corpses.
Yeah, that would be distracting.
[01:09:27] Speaker B: Aubrey, corpse moths, they. They really like this district.
It's the. The high towers and everything here. They roost there and you know, they're people here. Also, the students love feeding the corpse moths.
[01:09:45] Speaker F: Are they like pigeons?
[01:09:47] Speaker B: Yeah, pretty much.
This is giant flesh eating pigeon moths.
[01:09:53] Speaker F: Pigeons eat flesh.
[01:09:54] Speaker C: What are they feeding the corpse moths? The moths that eat the worms?
[01:10:03] Speaker B: Yeah, they feed the meat.
[01:10:05] Speaker A: Can you imagine happens to the. The cadavers that aren't good for the anatomy students anymore. Possibly all those pre med students. They're like, well, the cadavers pass spent. We took all the organs out to the garden.
[01:10:16] Speaker C: All I'm gonna say is, can you imagine just. Yeah, there's the flock of corpse moths and then the students are like, oh yay, they're there and they just throw a whole body at them.
[01:10:28] Speaker F: Indigo putting her body in the bag for Niall. Like, hold on, I gotta keep this one. For reasons.
[01:10:36] Speaker A: The corpse moths.
[01:10:38] Speaker C: There's totally an area where it's like here is pellets that you can feed the moths. That the moth is totally like. And the students are like, no, no, no. And they roll up with like the.
[01:10:47] Speaker A: The.
[01:10:47] Speaker C: The like the ends of that. The butchers don't use or sell like the little scrap ends and they. They roll up with that and start throwing like chicken feet and at the moths instead. So the moths never eat the pellets now. Completely defeating the purpose of. That's what I do every time I go to a zoo and there's like an open area for the bears throw marshmallow. They're never going to eat your shit food again.
[01:11:10] Speaker F: That's not good.
[01:11:12] Speaker C: They love the marshmallows.
[01:11:14] Speaker B: Oh my God.
[01:11:15] Speaker F: It's like those things where it's like, oh my God. I've fed so many corpse spots that they'll just land on my hand now and eat right out of it. Sometimes I'll try to eat my hand too, but that's okay.
[01:11:24] Speaker B: They won't.
[01:11:25] Speaker C: They'll never fucking see me again.
[01:11:28] Speaker B: They're like carrion feeders. So they don't generally eat living things.
Oh my God.
[01:11:34] Speaker F: You can feed the corpse moss right out of your hand if you're careful enough.
[01:11:39] Speaker B: If you want a cat sized moth landing on you.
[01:11:41] Speaker F: Yes, that is exactly what I want. Aubry.
[01:11:46] Speaker C: Close enough. Welcome back Barry from Blood of Kings.
[01:11:51] Speaker B: But yeah, no, this, this area does have like the sort of the thickest populations also. Like there is. There is essentially like a magical creatures class at Ravenswood and quite often they will feed the corpse moths and sketch them and learn about them. So yeah, but yeah, this corpse moths, Lou, you were distracted by like a flock of them. You know, they. They kind of like alight on a sort of a nearby, you know, sort of little art sculpture and you're just like oh, they're so pretty.
And Niall, as you're looking around, it's.
The big problem is this area is very populated. This area is very busy. There are a lot of teachers and there are a lot of students. And this is like mid afternoon.
So it's, It's. You cannot pin down where this is coming from.
[01:12:56] Speaker F: I'm not really sure where this is coming from, but acting suspicious is probably going to be a terrible idea. So let's keep our heads to the best that we can and head inside, I think.
[01:13:06] Speaker A: Lou.
[01:13:07] Speaker F: So looking at the corpse moths.
[01:13:08] Speaker A: No, I was just wondering if, like, they're competition for you.
[01:13:12] Speaker F: No, we eat different types of meat.
[01:13:15] Speaker A: But I mean, they're dead things regardless. Right. And the dead meat, what's really the difference?
That doesn't matter.
[01:13:23] Speaker F: Anyway, that's something you need to ask Indigo. She's the one that's been studying it.
[01:13:27] Speaker A: Oh, fascinating. Carry on.
[01:13:30] Speaker F: That is what the corpse moth eat. Yeah.
[01:13:35] Speaker A: The schism. Hate corpse moths. Does schism try to eat corpse moths because they. Or do the corpse mods hate schism?
Excuse them.
[01:13:47] Speaker F: That's an opinion.
[01:13:53] Speaker B: I'm not sure you want to have the conversation.
Let's go inside right now, out in the open.
[01:14:03] Speaker A: This is a good.
[01:14:05] Speaker F: Yeah, let's ask when we're in safe Indigo room.
[01:14:09] Speaker A: You know, this is a bit. We're moving on back to plot. The bit's done.
[01:14:15] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You do that and you knock on the door and after. After a few seconds, Indigo will open and they're sort of this.
They are a gansey gnome. So they've got sort of this colorful pattern on their skin and this almost rainbow ish hair.
As they look up and they see you, Nyle, and they go, oh my God, you're alive.
[01:14:51] Speaker F: Yeah, A lot of things happened and I brought you lunch.
[01:14:55] Speaker B: It's been like a month.
[01:15:00] Speaker F: A lot of things happen. Can me and my friend come in?
[01:15:03] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Come in, come in. I think I have some normal sized chairs somewhere.
[01:15:11] Speaker A: It's okay. I can sit on the floor?
[01:15:13] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. And we'll. We'll take the food and then immediately put it on like a counter and then turn, turn back to you after. Close door. It's like. Okay. So what happened? Are you okay? Has it. Has it progressed any? Do you. Do you need any? Do you need anything?
[01:15:37] Speaker F: The only bodies I've been able to eat for the past two weeks have been very rotten. So if you have any corpses, that would be great.
[01:15:44] Speaker B: I unfortunately don't have corpses because I'M an alchemy student and an anatomy student.
[01:15:49] Speaker F: It was worth a shot. I know you guys sometimes throw those up to the corpse boss.
[01:15:55] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Again, it's people in the anatomy studies, not alchemists, unfortunately.
[01:16:03] Speaker F: But it's been progressing in weird ways. I've been awakening new spells and powers that I hadn't had before and like, to show off, I guess. Can I use a spell, but like in a non effective way, but in like a do something that's cool way.
[01:16:17] Speaker B: Like, depends on the spell.
[01:16:18] Speaker F: I don't know. Let me look. Because I want to do like second level spell vibes because I didn't pick the third ones yet.
I guess technically, like opening one of the mouths and like a bunch of the tendrils kind of vomit out onto the floor and it's like, that's new. And that hurts people a lot.
[01:16:41] Speaker B: Indigo takes a step back from the tentacles and that is something. Where are my notes?
Also, Hi. Hi. I'm. I'm Indigo.
[01:16:59] Speaker A: Oh, hello. My name is Lou.
We met in prison. Don't worry about it.
[01:17:10] Speaker B: The person. Okay.
[01:17:15] Speaker F: A lot of things happened, but we're out of prison.
[01:17:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I would guess with you being in my house.
[01:17:28] Speaker F: But she's very well meaning and a little bit eccentric.
[01:17:32] Speaker B: But Lou is a good person and, you know, knows the.
[01:17:38] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, I've made schism. I've made a couple of friends.
[01:17:48] Speaker B: Huh.
These aren't like, you know, we're not gonna have a repeat of the Twilight watch, right?
[01:17:57] Speaker F: Well, I'm trying not to. I. I'll do my best.
[01:18:02] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. Yeah. That's the important part.
[01:18:07] Speaker F: Sorry about that.
[01:18:09] Speaker B: It's okay.
[01:18:11] Speaker F: But things have been progressing. I think a checkup is good. And this building is being watched.
[01:18:18] Speaker B: I mean, I'm Ravenswood. Everyone's watching. Everyone.
Like, gossip is like an entire other form of currency here.
[01:18:32] Speaker A: I know what that's like.
[01:18:35] Speaker F: A lot of my new friends love gossip.
[01:18:39] Speaker B: So do a lot of students.
[01:18:42] Speaker F: Have you heard any interesting gossip?
[01:18:45] Speaker B: I try not to pay attention to. It's too much.
I did hear though, that rumors going around about Starlight Bastion, that the cool epidemic might be over and they may be attempting to reopen the district soon.
[01:19:06] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, that was us.
[01:19:10] Speaker B: That's. That's good.
[01:19:12] Speaker F: Yeah.
[01:19:13] Speaker B: It'll be interesting to see what they do because, you know, it's been closed off for five years.
[01:19:19] Speaker F: It's definitely interesting. I hope.
I hope things are good. Nile's not very good at socializing. I think she probably knows that. And he's just like, whatever you Got a pokey with.
[01:19:33] Speaker B: Let's.
Let's. Let's take a. Take a look at here, see how things are. Things are going.
[01:19:43] Speaker F: Also because Lou asked, now I'm thinking about it. Why is it only human meat, not other animal meat?
[01:19:50] Speaker B: A great question. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you.
I think it may actually have something to do. My theory is currently something to do with you, and it essentially is. It's replacing what it's eating from you. So it has to be of like a compatible type. Like if schism, like attached to an animal, I think it would have to eat other animals of like, the same genus.
[01:20:23] Speaker F: So it's essentially required cannibalism.
[01:20:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
Still working on a way to fix that.
[01:20:34] Speaker F: I appreciate you so much, but other than that, nothing too interesting has really happened. The spells have gotten stronger. Looking at my notes, I invented a way to make affordable coffee. If you would ever like some coffee delivered to you.
[01:20:53] Speaker B: I mean, there's plenty of coffee shops here and tea shops here, so I think the coffee would be cold by the time it got to me, so that's fair.
Indigo will ask that you, you know, kind of unwrap some stuff and we'll sort of like prod at like, the. The mouth and things and all of that. And, you know, as she's moving along, we'll. We'll ask you. Interesting. Like, so you know, you never mentioned where you met this thing.
[01:21:34] Speaker F: It's a long story.
[01:21:38] Speaker B: Oh. Maybe one day you can tell me the story. Maybe that'll help. I don't know.
Yeah, there's. There's like a little bit of atrophy in some of your muscles and some other things, but you should try to eat regularly.
[01:22:04] Speaker F: Do you have any students that you really hate? I'm kidding.
[01:22:08] Speaker B: I mean, I'm not a teacher, so.
[01:22:13] Speaker F: Oh, there's a teacher that you really hate?
[01:22:15] Speaker B: No, there's no teachers that I hate. I need all of my teachers to live so I can pass my classes and get my degree.
[01:22:24] Speaker F: Well, if there's any students that you have a very bad opinion of, just let me know, hypothetically.
[01:22:34] Speaker B: Sure, yeah. I'll let you know if anyone gets on my bad side, I guess.
[01:22:40] Speaker F: This is a joke.
[01:22:41] Speaker C: Don't worry.
[01:22:41] Speaker F: This is a joke.
[01:22:43] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Good. Good to know.
[01:22:46] Speaker F: Hearing this, she casually threw aside a large rock.
And there's no shortage of bodies in the line of work that I found myself in. But a lot of the lamplighter bodies are a bit unsavory.
[01:23:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it has to do with what they what they do to themselves.
[01:23:11] Speaker F: I know the gist, but do you know any details about it?
[01:23:19] Speaker B: The balchemy professor has been talking a little bit about what they do and it kind of just involves a chemical concoctions with monster blood and other pieces and those kind of give them the abilities of said monsters and.
But also it is poisonous to their own blood. So the longer a member of the holy blood serves, the more poisonous their blood is. And slowly they just like die of super blood poisoning.
[01:23:58] Speaker F: Oh yeah, it did taste like they had mild blood poisoning.
[01:24:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:24:07] Speaker F: But just you're being safe and everything, right?
I know it's mostly gossiping students, but whoever's watching this building, the energy that they have is very bad. And I'm a little worried.
[01:24:24] Speaker B: As you Tuli noted, you know, and sort of points at a thing that you didn't even notice before.
There. Above some of the doors, there are alchemical traps rigged.
[01:24:40] Speaker F: Clever.
[01:24:43] Speaker B: You know, it's nothing that's going to kill a person, but it's going to give them a really bad day, make them think twice.
[01:24:53] Speaker A: Naya, if it would alleviate your concerns, is it worth asking some of our new friends to pop by periodically?
[01:25:02] Speaker F: That would be a good idea. Some of them are very good at keeping people safe, so a nice watch over the place would be a good thing. If it's safe.
[01:25:16] Speaker A: If they are, you know, available.
[01:25:20] Speaker F: I'm sure we could put in a request, but I hope your thesis is still going well. How far are you again now? It's been a month.
[01:25:32] Speaker B: Still got a couple more years.
It's.
It's a long process.
[01:25:39] Speaker F: A slow journey. Indeed it is. Nice to hear your updates, Alan. Again.
[01:25:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, let's. Let's try not to have it be a month this next time.
[01:25:51] Speaker A: Okay?
[01:25:52] Speaker F: I'll come back in maybe two weeks.
[01:25:56] Speaker B: Two weeks is good. You know, make sure you're maintaining a healthy diet.
[01:26:04] Speaker F: I'm doing my best. It is a little bit hard to find a fresh resource of corpses nowadays that aren't poisonous.
[01:26:13] Speaker B: Yep.
Well, I have a class to get to, but, you know, thank you for coming by. I'm glad to know you're okay. And lovely to meet you too, Leo.
[01:26:30] Speaker C: Pleasure.
[01:26:32] Speaker B: Well, I'll.
I'll see you out. And just be safe.
[01:26:39] Speaker F: You too.
I'm just going to just put like a little hand on my chest. Be like fit as a fiddle. Got it?
[01:26:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[01:26:49] Speaker F: Broken fiddle, but yeah.
Yes, we will definitely head out. I'll make sure that the little pack lunch is there. I didn't forget anything. You know, as A treat. And I guess while we're heading out, I do want to just ask Lou, like, I wonder if we asked some people to watch. Do you think Lorelei would happen to have any sort of access to food?
She has connections in a lot of places.
[01:27:20] Speaker A: I would say if anyone would, it would probably be the assassin. But also, that is up to you if you want to ask that of her.
But also maybe ask Grave Wing before you ask her, just in case Lorelai does not cool with your diet.
[01:27:42] Speaker F: Maybe asking Grave Wing about it would be the best idea, just because as much as I don't want to have to ask people for help on something so sensitive, I'm going to die.
[01:27:52] Speaker C: No, no.
[01:27:53] Speaker A: Yeah, that's. That is a pickle.
[01:27:58] Speaker F: Oh, if only I could substrate myself on pickles, dear.
[01:28:02] Speaker A: I meant it was a dollar, but. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
It's a family saying. I don't know. You don't talk about pickles in your family?
[01:28:16] Speaker F: No, we didn't really talk about pickles. That much.
[01:28:20] Speaker B: Shame.
[01:28:22] Speaker A: They're very delicious.
[01:28:24] Speaker F: And we did have some saving sayings about doing unto others as you'd like, done unto yourself, but mostly just positive things, you know?
[01:28:32] Speaker A: Oh, I think the people thing is about the most positive thing we had going on as, like, a family.
[01:28:40] Speaker F: Do you want to talk about it?
[01:28:42] Speaker A: Nope.
[01:28:43] Speaker F: Let's go back, like, good. Internally. I don't want to hear about it.
Let's head back.
[01:28:54] Speaker A: Bonding moment.
[01:28:55] Speaker F: Absolutely not.
[01:28:57] Speaker B: Yeah, no. No bonding. No bonding at all.
[01:28:59] Speaker F: We respect boundaries in this house. You can say no.
[01:29:04] Speaker B: Anyone else have something they would like to do?
[01:29:06] Speaker F: Well, now I have to bundle. But graveling also has stuff to do. So let graveling do this stuff first and then grab her by the throat. I mean, grab her softly by the shoulder.
[01:29:18] Speaker C: I guess that's my turn. That's my cue.
[01:29:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:29:22] Speaker C: Yeah. I'd like to have a chat with Lou sometime this week.
[01:29:34] Speaker B: Lou's so popular.
[01:29:36] Speaker C: So popular. Where am I gonna find you?
[01:29:40] Speaker A: Probably in the. Whatever room we are in with the.
The crone hammer.
Just, like, having made an impermanent mess of things in terms of, like, just the floor is covered with, like, esoterica, and, like, all of the contents of her bag are out. And she's got, like, a bunch of things, like. Like, in, like, a chalk circle surrounded by, like, herbs.
But, like, she seems to be in the middle of, like, fixing a sigil.
Just, you know, she's having a normal time.
[01:30:22] Speaker C: Would you say? Are you, like, engrossed in your work and maybe you've missed a Meal.
[01:30:28] Speaker A: Yeah, totally cool.
[01:30:31] Speaker C: I'm gonna come in dressed casually, still wearing a mask, which means I look very off putting. It's like. It's like, the equivalent of wearing, like, gray sweatpants and, like, a black top and then whatever. The very ornate, very nice mask that Lorelai made.
Not off putting at all.
I'll come it with, I don't know, vegetarian snacks. Because you're vegetarian.
And I'll knock first, actually, because I don't know what you're doing. Last time I walked by a door that you were in, you were having the strangest conversation with Leif that I completely overheard, so. So I'm knocking this time to let you know.
[01:31:22] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lou would, like, let you in, and because graveling is pretty observant, would probably see, like, the mix of, like, dread and then resignation just flicker real fast before it gets covered up with, like, polite smile.
[01:31:42] Speaker F: Gravely.
[01:31:43] Speaker A: Did you need something?
[01:31:49] Speaker C: No. Pretty put.
[01:31:51] Speaker F: Pretty sure.
[01:31:52] Speaker C: You stay in this room.
[01:31:54] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:31:54] Speaker C: You didn't eat, so.
[01:31:59] Speaker A: Oh, has it been that long?
[01:32:05] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm just gonna.
I'm gonna enter and look for a spirit base clean enough to put a plate on.
[01:32:20] Speaker A: Lou's just gonna row everything off of a chair. There's, like, books and, like, journals there and just chuck it on the floor.
You can sit or I can take that or whatever.
[01:32:33] Speaker C: Wherever you'd like me to keep it, I'll keep it.
[01:32:39] Speaker A: I'll just take it and hold it.
[01:32:41] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:32:42] Speaker C: I. I give it to you, and then I kind of just make like I'm going to leave again, but, like, I stop halfway.
[01:32:50] Speaker A: Thank you for the food.
[01:32:52] Speaker C: Yeah.
Was that your first time killing somebody?
[01:33:04] Speaker A: Second, I suppose, technically, if you count Talos.
[01:33:11] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[01:33:13] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:33:18] Speaker C: You need to be made out of stronger stuff if you're gonna.
If you're dedicated to the cause.
[01:33:32] Speaker A: Yep.
I am sure you're right.
[01:33:47] Speaker C: Are you religious? You worship?
[01:33:51] Speaker A: Yes.
Star mother, primarily.
[01:34:01] Speaker C: Well, then you don't need me to tell you what her edicts are.
[01:34:07] Speaker A: Nope.
[01:34:08] Speaker C: And then you really shouldn't have to be worried about your placement in her eyes.
[01:34:17] Speaker A: She does sort of have a thing against killing without mercy and all that. Jazz.
Jazz exists in this world?
[01:34:33] Speaker C: Well, our anthemas are, what? Failing to give a chance to surrender in engaging in bigoted behavior. And I think those people do plenty of that.
[01:34:55] Speaker A: I suppose that is possible also.
But not to worry. I am in the middle of fixing the overall problem that is me.
And we will make progress eventually.
Sooner than later, probably.
And she'll gesture at the mess on the floor.
[01:35:37] Speaker C: What is.
How Is this gonna fix you exactly?
[01:35:43] Speaker A: Well, it is a mix of new knowledge I found last time I went home. I found some of my old things. And then there has a notebook from my mother that I hadn't looked at very hard. So there's some new stuff in there and then there's like a thing I can do, maybe if I can figure it out, that'll maybe solve some other problems and, you know, just generally.
Yeah, the 30, 12, 30, 38 time, I think is the charm. Right. You can't fail at everything you do ever. Eventually, statistically, you gotta succeed eventually. And this is that time. We are here. This is the moment. And if not, it'll be the next one.
[01:36:31] Speaker C: If it helps. I don't think you're a total failure.
I've literally met and dealt with worse.
[01:36:42] Speaker A: That is a good. That's great.
[01:36:53] Speaker C: I have above the table question, but I'm also willing to make a perception role.
Have we ever seen Lou just do the feather thing? Like, rip him out? Like, you've used it in battle Sometimes, but I'm not sure how. Like.
[01:37:13] Speaker A: No, I think it's all been out of sight of people.
[01:37:17] Speaker C: That's what I was going to say. Has it always been out of sight?
[01:37:20] Speaker A: Yeah. Though I would imagine that through the course of this conversation, like, it's. She's pretty covered up. Like, her general outfits are pretty covered up on purpose because of this fairy problem.
But I think you might notice that the, like, her gloves start to get a little tighter. Like, suddenly there's like another layer underneath that wasn't there when you walked.
And, oh, she's got the little. Little boob window. So, yeah, there might be like a feather or two, like, on the edges of the boob window. Poking hiddy window.
[01:38:03] Speaker C: Okay, well, if I. If I notice the feathers, then I'll just kind of point at them and be like, you shouldn't preen too often.
[01:38:19] Speaker A: That is.
You don't have to worry about that either.
It is under control.
[01:38:29] Speaker C: Is it the curse?
[01:38:42] Speaker A: What curse?
[01:38:44] Speaker C: We watched your cousin.
[01:38:47] Speaker A: Right, that curse. Okay, no, no, that's true. I just didn't realize it was common knowledge. It was widespread.
[01:38:55] Speaker C: It's a little hard to explain away.
[01:38:59] Speaker A: Lots of individuals get cursed all the time. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a family thing.
[01:39:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm pretty sure one of you said it.
[01:39:10] Speaker A: Oops.
Don't worry. I have plenty of time to deal with it and absolutely almost zero symptoms.
[01:39:19] Speaker F: Okay.
[01:39:21] Speaker C: No, what I was saying was you shouldn't be, like, pulling at your feathers because Your feathers are probably attached to your skin. That's how you up your skin.
[01:39:31] Speaker A: Ah.
I mean, there's no other way to get rid of them.
[01:39:39] Speaker C: Why do you need to get rid of them?
[01:39:41] Speaker A: Because I'm not supposed to have them.
[01:39:47] Speaker C: I am all snake. That's like saying it's not supposed to. I'm not supposed to have legs when I can make legs.
[01:39:54] Speaker A: Yes, but that is. That is who you are. You are born to be like that. I was not. I mean, I guess kind of, but not like in the same way. It's a curse. It's not supposed to be at all.
It's because of. Of. Of the actions of the bad choices other people have made. And now I get to live with them, as usual.
[01:40:21] Speaker C: Well, I mean, that's just.
That's just life. But I don't think.
All I'm saying is, if you're gonna. You're gonna get feathers. You have feathers.
Obviously you're gonna preen when you need to.
Kind of like how birds do. My dad used to do it all the time.
What you gotta do, though, what I'm saying is you should do, though, is if you're. If it's. It seems like it's kind of becoming a natural part, and I think maybe you should just let it happen. Like the feathers all over.
You're gonna hurt yourself. And then all of this hard work you've been doing is gonna be actually worth nothing. And then you're gonna feel like you're gonna be cursed and feel like I think you should just be one thing.
So you can either be or you can be cursed.
[01:41:18] Speaker A: I don't know if it's allowed to work like that.
The way Yuri talked about it, I have a time limit. Not one that matters in the scheme of the world ending, so it shouldn't impact the group.
But if it is not dealt with before then. Then it deals with me.
So I don't know if embracing it is exactly the right route.
[01:41:57] Speaker C: Have you tried it?
[01:42:00] Speaker A: I didn't know I had it until.
Yeah, last week, all that.
[01:42:07] Speaker C: You should try it, see what happens.
Worst case scenario, you're still cursed.
[01:42:19] Speaker A: Best case scenario, I think I could attack you. Oh, that's something too.
[01:42:28] Speaker C: That's not. That's not that bad.
We are all in a boatload of.
And two of you can assumedly, you as well can turn into monsters.
For a lack of better terms, three of us total can turn into something else. Four of us. One of us is a cannibal. Like, I think you're, like, attacking us One of us can eat us while we sleep. So.
[01:43:02] Speaker A: Schism one ends.
[01:43:04] Speaker C: I don't think schism would.
[01:43:06] Speaker A: Nile might.
I'm kidding. Don't tell. Don't tell them I said that in a gay way.
[01:43:15] Speaker C: I don't know. Sometimes not. You know, Nile's been asking me weird body questions, so I have no idea.
[01:43:22] Speaker A: They have another one for you eventually. I don't want to tell it, but you're in for it.
[01:43:26] Speaker C: I don't. I don't mind it. You know, it's not everybody. Every day that people get to ask me questions and they're, like, genuinely curious.
I'm taking it all in good faith until he, like, I don't know, eats one of my eggs. That's gonna be weird because it's not really an egg.
[01:43:44] Speaker A: What? What is it? No, you don't have to answer. I'm sorry.
[01:43:48] Speaker F: I want you to answer. Hold on a second.
[01:43:50] Speaker A: Answer.
[01:43:52] Speaker C: It's no. It's. It's no big deal.
It might happen. Who knows? Yeah, Occasionally I lay eggs, but I. They're infertile, so they're. They're. They're slugs, but they're not, like, alive or anything. It's just. There's a sack.
[01:44:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:44:12] Speaker A: What if I lay eggs?
[01:44:15] Speaker C: Well, I'll show you how to take care of them.
[01:44:18] Speaker A: I don't even know what they am. I mean, the feathers are a giveaway, but that could. I mean, so many things.
[01:44:25] Speaker C: Well, if you get.
You start growing wings or something, I can help with that, too.
[01:44:30] Speaker A: That would actually be useful.
[01:44:33] Speaker C: Yeah. Anyways, stop pulling at your feathers. You're gonna break your skin, and then you're gonna get an infection, and you were rich. But if you haven't paid attention, you're probably not anymore. So you can't afford a doctor. It's gonna suck when the infection kicks in. Three of us have tetanus or something like that right now. We keep getting sick, y'all.
I feel like the next thing we should do is look for a doctor, but that's just me.
[01:44:57] Speaker A: That's maybe one of the ways I can help if I can do this thing right, but we'll see if it works out.
[01:45:05] Speaker C: Sure. Tednis.
[01:45:07] Speaker A: I don't know. Maybe.
Maybe.
[01:45:15] Speaker C: Do you think if Niall ate a body with tetanus, would he get tetanus?
[01:45:20] Speaker A: I mean, the poisoned body really did a number on him.
And his doctor friend, Dr. Adjacent's friend did suggest that it was like.
Like it was poisonous stuff. Like it was bad to eat the bad ones because it impacts the body. The host.
[01:45:41] Speaker C: Like eating spoiled stuff. That's. That makes sense. That makes sense. That makes a lot of sense.
[01:45:47] Speaker A: You are what you eat.
[01:45:52] Speaker C: God, I hope not.
[01:45:54] Speaker B: Well, that seems like a good place to fade out on that scene as we come to the end of the week. And when we come back next time, we will start with our next rebellion phase. The.
I think this one's going to be busy soon. It's gonna be a little busy.
A lot to do. Yeah. So, yeah, take us out.
