Show Notes

We start things off with a totally normal set of rebellion actions before Lou goes to meet one of her sisters. She might learn a little bit more about her family than she bargained for. Then we wrap things up with a long overdue conversation between Gravewing and Euri.

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming. [00:01:30] Speaker B: Hello everyone and welcome back to God and Gates. [00:01:32] Speaker C: I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll talk to my players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing, and we'll go really into things. [00:01:38] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Maki. My pronouns are she, her and I play Gravewing, the Nagaji sylph, vigilante, monk, air kineticist who also uses she her pronouns and she is the party mom slash strategist of the Rebellion. [00:01:56] Speaker E: Hello, hello, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them and I play Laith Idrisi iv, the matricidal dampier, dandy, ro rogue and spymaster who uses she any pronouns? [00:02:09] Speaker F: Hello, I am Dusty, I use they he pronouns and I'm playing Yurido, just Yurido. Still, they are our Nephilim cursed boy of a problem. They are going to be the party and is Rebellion's firebrand and they also use the he pronouns. [00:02:30] Speaker G: Hello, I am Faris, I use she her pronouns and I am playing Alouette Valer, a totally normal Nephilim thaumaturge bard having a very normal and good time learning all about her way more cursed family. She also uses she her pronouns and is the anathema partisan. [00:02:48] Speaker H: Hello, I am Sparlock, and both me and my character use he him pronouns. I'm going by Alistair Whiskerfield, wizard detective extraordinaire, as heir to the fine distinguished family of wizard mice, Ratzerts, Esoki, Arcanists, I swear I was always aware of it. I keep my whiskers to the ground to uncover the truth of the powers that be who subjugate us, by which I mean I'm our recruiter and hello. [00:03:20] Speaker I: To round off the group. I am Tick, I have he, she, they pronouns and today you'll be playing Nile, a flesh warp sorcerer who is just a totally ordinary cook and quartermaster for the group and definitely not a cannibal. Parentheses He's a cannib, but it's a dietary restriction, so don't be too mean to him. [00:03:40] Speaker C: So now the question is, what happened last time? It's been a bit for us, but. [00:03:44] Speaker I: I know it's been a bit and it really sucks because all my brain can scrounge up as a maid outfit, question mark. But there was other stuff that happened. [00:03:51] Speaker C: That was like there were other things I Believe we can always turn to the backup recap personality. [00:03:58] Speaker I: Hey Ferris, you're smart and you actually take notes instead of remembering everything and then not letting it leave your. It's like listen, if it's been more than two weeks, my brain deletes the information information at mach speed. [00:04:06] Speaker G: So the stuff you remember without writing it down is impressive. So I've got to briefly recap 24 also for all of us. And you can cut this part out of the recap. This is just for our brains. And then I'll recap just 25, which was 24 was where we went to. The half of us went to the circus. There was a whole reflection that tried to eat Lou and probably didn't. Maybe. And then we regrouped at the shop Grave Wing's brother in law Sisters shop. And also. Oh, that's when we found out some fun facts about Lou's mom and Tallis situation and formulas that were created. Great. The other half of the group went to Clockwork Halls, did some rumor sewing specifically like anti Scriabin sentiment, and then came up with a plan to send Niall into this Creowhan household as a maid who insisted that it be specifically a maid outfit. And we all said heck yes. [00:05:17] Speaker J: And then. [00:05:20] Speaker G: The reflection lady was called lady of thorns. And then 25. So last time what happened was Yuri explained a little bit about what they know about the lady of Thorns who's a sentient being, supposedly a Fae who was drowned in quicksilver by Mab and now steals faces via reflection. Probably not a problem. Gravewing talks to some of the other circus members, but everybody is super dead except for one person who can't die. Their name's Rook. They for some reason are impervious to death. So good for them. We rescue them out of the circus by smuggling them out and doing a lot of disguising of things. And the whole group convenes at the Starlight Armaments and decides to circulate word of what the Holy Blood has been doing by using a printing press owned by one of Yuri's exes who happens. [00:06:09] Speaker J: To be a poet. [00:06:12] Speaker G: There's a brief side moment where we all get by we. I mean some people go to get maid outfits and new clothing and then yeah, then we go see Yuri's ex who's not pleased to see Yuri but does agree to do the thing for us with the printing press, mostly through bribery and flattery on Lou's part. And that's more or less where we left off. There was a brief drop by with the Midnights to drop off the Hesterhunder. And Graveling had a little moment with Tadashi, and I think that was the important stuff. [00:06:49] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. We're. We're working our way through this week, which would leave us two weeks before the. The ball. We have a few days left on the week itself. What did downtime actions and things like that were people going to be doing? [00:07:10] Speaker I: I guess I have to learn how to be a maid. [00:07:15] Speaker E: Wait, training sequence with Grave Wing. [00:07:21] Speaker I: This is just graveling. High School Host Club. Wait, Graveling Tavern Host Club. [00:07:27] Speaker D: Okay, I was gonna say. It's so funny if you say high school. Grave Wing has. Does not have that education level. Gosh. Well, I guess I'm doing that. But I also need to. I need to go see Kessie again so I can bribe more scales out of her. [00:07:48] Speaker F: I think one thing. Allegedly Gray Wing said they need to talk to Yuri about Lose thing. [00:07:58] Speaker D: Yes, you're right. Thank you for reminding me. I was about to say. I don't got nothing to say to you. I have one thing to say to you. [00:08:08] Speaker C: One thing. [00:08:09] Speaker G: You gotta make sure that my cousin's not a problem. [00:08:14] Speaker F: Well. [00:08:15] Speaker I: Oh, he is a problem, but he's a hot problem. [00:08:17] Speaker D: I was gonna say. I was gonna say. I was gonna say. Did we not. We understood that Yuri is a problem? Yuri showed up saying I'm a problem. [00:08:25] Speaker G: That's fair. [00:08:26] Speaker F: That's fair. That's a wrong introduction. [00:08:28] Speaker I: Now I really want Yuri to use me and discard me anyways. [00:08:36] Speaker D: Why? Fucking napkin. Please continue. [00:08:42] Speaker C: So, it's. [00:08:44] Speaker B: We'll get to these scenes in just a second, but one big thing that. [00:08:47] Speaker C: Happens is you two get a message from Clover that the ROE is no longer safe, that Johnny has put out a bounty on Lorelai. [00:08:59] Speaker D: I have a question about that. Yes, it's a clarifying question. What is the. What is the details of the bounty? Because I need to. Did he dox her? [00:09:13] Speaker C: Yeah, he used her full name, Lorelai Dabria. And then it is for her head, specifically. 500. [00:09:24] Speaker D: Oh, my God, he fully docks her. Okay, well, then she's not staying at the Row. No, she is so much smarter than that. Thank you. [00:09:34] Speaker C: Literally, almost all of the blades have left the row. Specifically. Specifically through all of the tunnels because it's just currently unsafe for any of them to be there. [00:09:47] Speaker D: I was gonna say. So we like. We like. As of now, we've kind of totally lost the Row, huh? [00:09:52] Speaker C: As of this moment. [00:09:54] Speaker D: Okay, I'm gonna put it in the bad column for now. Is this bad level or. Yikes. Level, would you guys say? [00:10:05] Speaker F: I think yikes. [00:10:07] Speaker D: Yikes. I think we're in yikes territory. [00:10:10] Speaker F: We're in bad territory when half of them died. [00:10:13] Speaker G: Yeah, this feels like yikes. [00:10:14] Speaker J: You're. [00:10:15] Speaker D: You're right. You're right. I was. I was being a little too kind. Okay, we're in yikes. Okay. [00:10:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:10:22] Speaker D: Oh. [00:10:23] Speaker C: They've sort of split between a couple of different districts. The remaining members hiding in safe houses. And Coffin Walk and the Darklight Bazaar. [00:10:34] Speaker D: I was gonna say the. The North Star would be open. Be quite open to them, but I. I will in particular just stay with Lorelei. No offense to y' all, but you. I. I gotta stick with her to keep her safe. [00:10:52] Speaker G: Please. [00:10:53] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:10:53] Speaker C: Lorelei will, for the most part, move between safe houses as nep. As necessary. There are a few in various districts, but also Manor does. Yeah. [00:11:08] Speaker D: Those are those. They were staying at the row, but they're not safe there anymore. [00:11:13] Speaker G: Grow. And Hammer, specifically, is also. Because it's in the row. Right. [00:11:17] Speaker D: Yeah. Oh, we lost. Is it safe to say we have lost this? The. The safe house of. Of CRO. Hammer. Okay, cool. [00:11:27] Speaker J: Blast. [00:11:32] Speaker C: Marigold and Nadia will also essentially move between. Be sent to two different safe houses. You can go and get Nadia and take her to the Wollstonecraft Manor or anything like that. They will give you her location. [00:11:50] Speaker G: Reference for where we. [00:11:52] Speaker J: We put Nadia. Alyssa. [00:11:57] Speaker E: I mean, she didn't want me to lock her up in a clock tower for some reason. By clock tower, I mean wizard tower. But I think that means she probably wouldn't want me to lock her up in a clock tower. [00:12:07] Speaker G: E. We have a whole manor. It's like home, just less mothers. [00:12:13] Speaker D: We stripped it clean, actually. It's. It's. We gotta put it all back. [00:12:18] Speaker G: It still has running water, and that's. [00:12:22] Speaker I: I think we were the worst option for her. [00:12:27] Speaker C: And you did keep a lot of food and stuff there because you couldn't move it to, like. [00:12:30] Speaker G: Oh, yeah. [00:12:31] Speaker C: You went to other safe houses. They already had food. [00:12:34] Speaker B: So. [00:12:34] Speaker D: Unfortunately, that's also where Akos's people have been staying. The people that Akos gave us for our first squad. So. [00:12:43] Speaker G: Onyx and Lana. [00:12:44] Speaker D: Yeah. So you have to be comfortable with that. [00:12:49] Speaker E: Yeah. I mean, can I put her in North Star? I feel like I'd be more comfortable with her with Juniper than. [00:12:58] Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna. [00:12:59] Speaker G: And Rook. Now Rook is at North Star, too. [00:13:02] Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna say New Brooke is there. I. I'd be okay with that. Just. All of the bedrooms are barred from everybody. Nobody's allowed to go in the bedrooms because actual people. [00:13:15] Speaker G: Everyone's sleeping in the living room. [00:13:18] Speaker C: Yeah, look, Juniper will just buy a bunch of cots and stuff and that's what everyone sleeps on. [00:13:23] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm like, yeah, no, just get. Get. Get into like sleeping bags and stuff. It's not like we. We have a ridiculous amount of pillows and blankets because of the winter. And then most of us also sleep in the Forge for half of the year. So. Yeah, at that point, just not going into the bedrooms is because some of them are children's rooms. [00:13:48] Speaker C: But yeah, it's. Nadia won't really be able to help with the running the shop part because, you know, she's supposed to be missing, possibly dead, but can certainly stay there. It's just the. The. The chance that somebody sees her is a little higher than a place like the Wollstonecraft Manor. [00:14:08] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:14:08] Speaker E: My concern with the Wollstonecraft Manor is that they're gonna start moving people back into the district. That's true, but maybe it's safer for now. I don't know. What do people think? [00:14:20] Speaker G: We still have some time before that happens. I believe. [00:14:26] Speaker D: They'Re gonna start moving people back in in the following week. [00:14:29] Speaker J: Yeah. [00:14:30] Speaker G: So we have a little time to like push that decision and maybe get Nadia to warm up to, I guess anyone except for Laythe, since she seems a little sister right now. [00:14:46] Speaker E: Get her to warm up to being in the Wizard Tower. [00:14:50] Speaker G: The Wizard Tower is cool and is full of magical books. I don't know what her deal is. She can get a head start on her studies. [00:14:56] Speaker E: Who cares that literally only Alastair can open it and that people. She might explode if she tries to leave. [00:15:03] Speaker G: She can leave it. She just can't break in. I mean, she can't. [00:15:08] Speaker D: I mean, she can't re. Enter and that means she's. [00:15:17] Speaker I: I don't see how she just can't. [00:15:18] Speaker G: Go back unless Alistair is with her. This is how she becomes buddies with Alistair and they become study buddies. Aw. [00:15:25] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:15:26] Speaker E: Okay, let's put her in the manor and try and talk her into going to the Wizard Tower. [00:15:31] Speaker G: Just keep talking about all the cool wizard stuff in there. [00:15:37] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:15:39] Speaker C: Other things that you will get messages about. There was another attack in Clockwork halls, but luckily, because all of the people at Clockwork have been very vigilant about things, they were able to stop it before any damage actually happened. [00:15:55] Speaker F: Shit's. [00:15:56] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:15:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:59] Speaker C: It's a good way to describe it. There was some damage in one of the factories, but other than that, no actual people were harmed. [00:16:09] Speaker G: That's good. Do we want to focus. Do we. We get to do rebellion actions this week? [00:16:17] Speaker C: Yes, you will. [00:16:18] Speaker G: Do we want to focus on recruitment? [00:16:22] Speaker J: I know. [00:16:22] Speaker G: We also need to lower our threat though, is a problem. [00:16:25] Speaker F: We really need to lower our threat. [00:16:28] Speaker G: Yeah, maybe lower threat and then work on recruitment. We're just kind of spread thin right now. [00:16:35] Speaker J: So. [00:16:35] Speaker I: Right now, from my understanding, we know we're going to infiltrate a masquerade. We know we're going to send Nyla into maid surface, Ms. Scrivin's flesh warp mate or whatever. And we're going to do one more thing that I'm trying to remember about the Clockwork. We started our rumors already, so we're just doing the maid service. [00:16:53] Speaker D: So. [00:16:53] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll say with like the. The out of character, like the. The maid service and things like that. Just focus on the. The masquerade ball currently. [00:17:01] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:17:02] Speaker J: Okay. [00:17:03] Speaker C: Anything like that we can do next season. This is mostly because like, I want to focus on finishing out the season. [00:17:08] Speaker D: Okay. [00:17:09] Speaker I: No, yes, Understood. Thumbs up. Tangentially related, do we have all the information for the masquerade ball yet? Because I was gone that session. [00:17:17] Speaker D: No. No, we do not. [00:17:18] Speaker G: Waiting to hear back from a few sources, we reached out to a sibling about invites. The Midnights also thought they could procure invites and we were still. I know Lays have been doing a lot of information gathering on like the building and stuff. [00:17:37] Speaker D: We were going to. [00:17:38] Speaker G: We're specifically getting your brother, right? [00:17:41] Speaker D: My. My brother in law. Yeah. [00:17:42] Speaker G: Brother in law. Yeah. Yeah. [00:17:43] Speaker D: I mean, close enough. Yeah. [00:17:44] Speaker I: Brother from a different mother. [00:17:46] Speaker D: It's it. I would sure hope so. We are also. We did plan to try and find more recent people who have worked at the Lark Estate. [00:18:02] Speaker J: Yeah, yeah, that was. [00:18:03] Speaker D: That was. That was something that I know Alistair brought up. Then we went to the tower, which was equally as fun. So. [00:18:15] Speaker I: So we have several leads on the masquerade ball already. Which means I think personally, from what we have, we should focus on recruitment and actually lowering our threat compared to getting information and all that. [00:18:26] Speaker C: One more set of. Of rebellion actions before the actual ball. [00:18:31] Speaker I: You suggest personally we do one recruitment action, one lowering our threat, and maybe one more lowering our threat. But like the third one, I'm kind of like, eh. Because we get three actions, right? [00:18:43] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:18:43] Speaker G: But we can only lower our threat by one per threat loading thing. And we have pretty high threat levels right now. [00:18:49] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:18:53] Speaker G: 36. And every time we reduce it, it only reduces by one. [00:18:58] Speaker B: D6. [00:18:59] Speaker G: Oh, a D6. Okay. We just got really unlucky last time. [00:19:02] Speaker C: You got really unlucky last time. [00:19:04] Speaker I: Okay. Okay. [00:19:05] Speaker C: You just rolled super loud. [00:19:07] Speaker D: I was gonna say. I know, I know. It cannot just be one. I was like, that's super fucked up. We're just gonna die before we finish this campaign. [00:19:17] Speaker G: Clearly, there's a meta commentary here on how we can't. We're actually going to fail this campaign, and that's fine. We're going to learn to be fine with failure. [00:19:25] Speaker D: Play rich people. We should have all played rich people. We would have had a better chance. [00:19:29] Speaker F: Should have. [00:19:32] Speaker G: Commoner. [00:19:35] Speaker F: For that. This is just like. For the spreading the rumors. Are we going to have to send more stuff to Zecel? Does anyone need to go back? No. Right? No one needs to go back and talk to them, right? [00:19:49] Speaker C: No, not currently. [00:19:52] Speaker D: I think if they. If they wanted, like, the stories, then in theory I would have to go back. [00:19:59] Speaker C: But I was. [00:20:01] Speaker F: I was gonna go back and just, like, talk to them, but if. We don't need to, we don't need to. It's fine. [00:20:07] Speaker G: You made your sincere apology. Making another one just sounds like you're trying too hard. [00:20:10] Speaker F: Well, I have another reason to, like, maybe not give. Give Brave Wings info if we don't need to. I think that's a last resort. If the cell shoots me out the door, then maybe I'll talk to Graveling about it. [00:20:22] Speaker C: But, oh, yes, going back on your promises instantly. [00:20:31] Speaker F: That's not what I was. That's not what was intended. [00:20:34] Speaker G: That's what's happening. [00:20:36] Speaker D: That's so funny. That's so rude. [00:20:40] Speaker G: Oh, my gosh. Okay. [00:20:42] Speaker F: She doesn't even seem that interested in it. That's all I'm saying, though. I think she just wanted to get me out of there anyways. We should lower our threat or some shit. [00:20:49] Speaker G: We should lower our threat for sure. So what I have. I have a proposition. We try to lower our threat twice. And if it goes well, then our third action can be recruitment. And if it goes badly, then we lower it again. [00:21:07] Speaker I: Can we do that? [00:21:08] Speaker G: I like that. [00:21:09] Speaker C: You can take the same action three times if you would like. [00:21:12] Speaker I: Can I roll for the threat reduction? Because I think it'll be funny. Please. [00:21:17] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:21:17] Speaker G: Somebody has to. [00:21:18] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:21:19] Speaker C: So, yeah, you'll have three. And it's going to be normal DC for your level and for you, the crafting or survival. [00:21:34] Speaker G: Yay. [00:21:35] Speaker I: I'm scared. [00:21:37] Speaker H: Lowering our threat through cooking. [00:21:39] Speaker I: I'm not cooking food, so I don't get all of my bonuses, but I get some bonuses. [00:21:43] Speaker J: You could be. [00:21:44] Speaker G: You could be starting a soup kitchen and that's how we lower our threat. Look at us just running a soup kitchen. [00:21:49] Speaker I: Fucking mafia pizza front. Look. Making one of those fake pizza places. [00:21:54] Speaker G: That are definitely a money laundering front. [00:21:56] Speaker I: But the food's so good. No one questions it. [00:21:58] Speaker G: Absolutely the wrong energy. But you know what? That's the opposite of what we're trying to do here. [00:22:05] Speaker D: Oh, what? You don't want your mafia front? That's what most unions started as. [00:22:12] Speaker G: Roll the number. [00:22:14] Speaker I: I'm grabbing my dice from the other side. I tried to distract you all with funny bits, so you didn't realize I didn't have my dice on me. D20, right? Or it's crafting. [00:22:22] Speaker C: D20 plus your crafting. [00:22:23] Speaker I: Yeah, let's check my little gate crafting modifier. Hello, little gay. Crafting modifier. My crafting modifier is plus 13. That's good. I saw plus zero for athletics. I was like, I love having a plus zero when crafting. Right. Starting off strong, do I still have that free ace hero point? [00:22:49] Speaker C: Sure. I mean, you start with a hero point anyways. [00:22:52] Speaker I: But can I have a free ace hero point? Because it's ace visibility day and you love me and also Ferris. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Sure. [00:22:58] Speaker I: Come on, it's gobbles and gays you got. You gotta feed me the spare hero. Knowing me and Ferris, we're gonna need it. Use different dice. You wouldn't betray me, right? Nile themed dice. Actually, I'm taking that. Knocking on wood. Knock on wood. That was a jinx. Okay, the knocking on wood actually helped. That's a 31. [00:23:19] Speaker B: 31. [00:23:22] Speaker C: Which is literally by the skin of your teeth, a critic. [00:23:27] Speaker I: Okay, I'm about to say our regular success is like. Jesus Christ. The is okay. [00:23:31] Speaker C: They literally won. [00:23:33] Speaker I: Thank you. [00:23:35] Speaker G: This is rigged. Aubrey does want us to fail. [00:23:39] Speaker C: So that is reduced by 2. [00:23:41] Speaker D: D6. [00:23:42] Speaker F: Yay. [00:23:43] Speaker I: Now to roll the D6s. Hello. D6s. I got a 4 and a 6. So that is by 10. [00:23:51] Speaker C: By 10. [00:23:52] Speaker I: Nice kicking. Going really good. [00:23:56] Speaker C: I mean it's, it's probably closer to like just, you know, making sure that general community support, you know, making sure people have things and you know, helping the right people so that the they will look the. Or look the other way when you do rebellion things. [00:24:18] Speaker G: Damn. [00:24:19] Speaker E: Not helping people out of the good of your heart, just doing it for gain. [00:24:23] Speaker I: I never do anything out of the. [00:24:24] Speaker G: Good of my heart. [00:24:24] Speaker I: I do it because I love cooking. It's not for, you know, your place. [00:24:29] Speaker C: But yeah, that is pretty good. That is an entire 10 points reduced. It really helps that you. You kept very below the radar this last week and rolled pretty good on a lot of things. So you're threat didn't actually go up. [00:24:43] Speaker J: What's the. [00:24:45] Speaker G: The threshold for the danger threshold at the low level again? I know the inquisition threshold. What's the other threshold? The one where just bad stuff starts happening? [00:24:55] Speaker B: I mean, that's. [00:24:57] Speaker C: There isn't like a danger threshold. There's just you. You roll. [00:25:02] Speaker G: It's just like a range. Gotcha. [00:25:03] Speaker C: Yeah, it's like a range. It's. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:25:05] Speaker G: The D100. Right. [00:25:07] Speaker C: You roll the D100 at the end. [00:25:08] Speaker D: I forgot about that. [00:25:09] Speaker G: Okay. [00:25:10] Speaker C: It's been a bit since we did a rebellion. Rebellion phase. [00:25:14] Speaker B: So. [00:25:15] Speaker C: Yeah, you. I think that bumps it down to like 26. Do you want to continue reduce threat even more? [00:25:27] Speaker I: Honestly, I still think we should stick to the initial plan because thumbs up. I don't think I get to do it more than once. So someone else must take the mantle. [00:25:34] Speaker C: Yes. [00:25:35] Speaker F: Lowering by 10 is pretty damn good. [00:25:40] Speaker G: I wouldn't mind reducing it more. But also if someone sees something that seems more critical, then I'm fine with spending more actions on that. We have two more actions, so I. [00:25:53] Speaker I: Think recruitment's definitely a good third action now that I'm looking at it, because we got a lot of deduction, but I still think we should deduce. Just deduce. Lower just a little bit more. [00:26:04] Speaker C: Wow. Yeah. [00:26:04] Speaker G: Those words are seduce. [00:26:06] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm also. The only other thing I would recommend is. I forgot. I forgot what it was called. But making money. [00:26:17] Speaker C: Yeah, Earning. Like the earning come. [00:26:19] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. We lost a whole area that was also a legitimate business. Crohn Hammer was a legitimate business. So I don't. While we don't have an immediate need for funds right now, most of us, you know, it might be good to have it in the future. [00:26:39] Speaker G: Maybe we do that one for the next week. Because we get two weeks before we get two weeks of rebellion. [00:26:46] Speaker C: We get this week and then one more. One more week. Yeah. [00:26:49] Speaker G: Before like the masquerade hits. So that might be a good one to do for the second week if. [00:26:53] Speaker D: We want to do like the reduce, reduce, recruit as. So another reduction role and then last one being recruitment. That's also like good with you. [00:27:06] Speaker G: Yeah. And then we have the next week to do things like get money and maybe more recruitment and other things we might need. [00:27:13] Speaker I: I very much don't want to start a hunt for us right before this masquerade we're supposed to be attending. So that's why I'm kind of very hefty on the. We should keep reducing the best we can. Time will be ours. [00:27:24] Speaker J: Let's do it once more then. [00:27:26] Speaker D: Who's reducing? [00:27:29] Speaker I: Reduce, reuse, recycle, baby. [00:27:36] Speaker C: Who has unrolled for one recently? [00:27:39] Speaker E: Or Dusty Aki Sparlock. [00:27:41] Speaker J: Grass. [00:27:42] Speaker G: Almost been taking notes on that part. [00:27:47] Speaker C: You're the recruiter, so it's either athletics or acrobatics. [00:27:51] Speaker H: Thank you. [00:27:51] Speaker C: You use those? Yeah. [00:27:55] Speaker B: Okay. [00:27:55] Speaker H: Which acrobatics is the winner? 20. [00:28:03] Speaker C: 20 is the DC. [00:28:05] Speaker B: Oh, thank you. [00:28:06] Speaker C: The basic level. One for basic. For your level. So, yeah, a 20 is the DC. So you would successfully reduce the threat by one D6. [00:28:18] Speaker F: All right. [00:28:19] Speaker B: And let us roll a D6. [00:28:24] Speaker C: That will bring you down to 23 threat, I believe when your last action to recruit. So Aki or Dusty? [00:28:35] Speaker G: Probably dusty. [00:28:37] Speaker F: That's. Let's do me and that way we can have Aki going on some hardship next week. [00:28:42] Speaker E: Oh, are you recruiting exes or is it that you're recruiting? [00:28:46] Speaker F: You know, Oscar turned out being very useful, I should say. So is the cell. I'm just saying we got the printing press through them. Like, I could go talk to more exes if you want to do that. Wait, no, I should. I. I'm gonna roll. What's my options for rolling? [00:29:02] Speaker C: Performance or intimidation? [00:29:04] Speaker F: Great. I'm glad I finally actually up my intimidation because the sheet was wrong. [00:29:10] Speaker I: Damn. [00:29:11] Speaker E: Bullying exes into working for you. That's rough, Yordo. [00:29:15] Speaker F: Now listen here, you little shit. You are 15ft away. [00:29:21] Speaker E: I'm sick and I'm sleepy. You can't hurt me. It's my birthday. I'm just a little birthday boy wearing glasses. [00:29:31] Speaker F: A literal intimidation. [00:29:33] Speaker C: Yep. [00:29:38] Speaker F: That's not going to be a crit, but that is going to be a 26. [00:29:40] Speaker C: 26. [00:29:41] Speaker B: It is a success. [00:29:43] Speaker C: So with recruiting on a success, you gain 2d6 followers. [00:29:52] Speaker F: That's 11. [00:29:54] Speaker C: 11. So 11 new followers. [00:30:00] Speaker F: What are you smiling about over there, Alyssa? [00:30:04] Speaker E: Just thinking about your ex's table. And which ones are susceptible to being like, bullied erotically by yelling Yuri into joining her rebellion. [00:30:16] Speaker F: Bullied erotically. Okay. [00:30:18] Speaker H: I mean, that's quite an erotic skill if you can bully people into joining an insurrection. [00:30:25] Speaker F: That's what casting the endor does, to be fair. [00:30:27] Speaker E: Exactly. [00:30:34] Speaker D: It all leads back to that day. Full circle. [00:30:42] Speaker F: Just like the rebellion logo. [00:30:44] Speaker C: Anyways, yeah, you all have a very successful rebellion phase. More and more people are hearing about the anathema and hearing about the good that they've done, the people they've helped. [00:30:58] Speaker B: The. [00:30:58] Speaker C: You know, you shutting. Stopping the, like, the strike in the Narrows by, you know, resolving the problem with the sea monster or the lake monster and all of that. And so you helping in clockwork calls. Word is starting to spread you other things that you get. You also get sort of. You get a confirmation about invitations for Alouette. You're able to get essentially invitations for you. A plus one with you. Yuri. Yuri, a plus one. [00:31:46] Speaker G: So we just need two more. [00:31:49] Speaker C: Yes. And those will be handled by the Midnights Sweet. And other things. Information about the Lark estate. You will learn that the Larks have it set up so that they sort of change their staff every about six months or so, just so that no one can get a little too comfortable with the layout. And remember, essentially is one of the things you'll also learn from Juniper and other rumors you gather is the house itself has configurations. Essentially is these set configurations that they can change using their. Essentially the control room. [00:32:35] Speaker B: And. [00:32:37] Speaker C: Your best bet during the. During the masquerade is to get somebody in the control room because more likely than not, Tristan is hidden in sort of a. Hidden in a hidden room that is only available from a different configuration. You know, Juniper does mention that she has a lot of experience with mechanical things. So if you want her to come along as well and to be the one to operate the house from the. The control room, she will. [00:33:17] Speaker F: Oh, Alouette could take Juniper with him. Okay. [00:33:22] Speaker E: Alouette has a fiance. Why would she bring someone else? [00:33:26] Speaker F: Leith, what are you talking about? [00:33:28] Speaker E: That was. Alyssa doesn't know anything about this. Leith refuses to acknowledge to Lou that she knows this thing. [00:33:37] Speaker F: Right. I need to get you two together. If I can talk about this shit. There's too much going on. That's. That's the part of it. [00:33:46] Speaker G: No, we haven't. [00:33:49] Speaker F: I know if we. If. If that. If you two knew, everyone would know. Also I would know because one of you are. Both of you will be just be mad at me. [00:34:04] Speaker G: It's Yuri's fault. We kiss that it's Yuri's fault. But we're mad. That's the ultimate miscommunication. [00:34:14] Speaker C: Yeah. But yes, also there were some scenes that people wanted to do, which we can definitely do that now, especially as you round out the week and start the next. [00:34:22] Speaker G: One quick question before we dive into that is if we did bring Juniper along, is there a way to get Juniper a ticket or do we have to smuggle Juniper in? [00:34:31] Speaker B: I. [00:34:32] Speaker C: She can be one of your plus ones. [00:34:34] Speaker G: Then we'd still be one short for the part because we have six total and there's six of Us. [00:34:46] Speaker C: And each one comes with like a plus one. [00:34:48] Speaker G: Oh, the Midnight's tickets also came with plus one. [00:34:50] Speaker C: Yeah, they'll also come with a plus one. [00:34:51] Speaker G: Okay. [00:34:52] Speaker F: Okay. [00:34:52] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:34:52] Speaker G: I thought it was two total for them, not two plus. [00:34:54] Speaker H: The real question is, how are we gonna find dates? [00:34:57] Speaker G: That's easy for some of us. [00:35:00] Speaker C: Yeah, easy. Oh, yeah. One last thing for the rebellion. I might have forgotten that for a second. Give me your resolving role for the rebellion. [00:35:10] Speaker B: The. [00:35:12] Speaker C: The D100. [00:35:14] Speaker F: Oh, Aki. It's all you. [00:35:16] Speaker C: Aki did it last time. [00:35:18] Speaker F: Oh, she did it last time. [00:35:19] Speaker C: Yeah. Ah. [00:35:21] Speaker G: I'll do it. [00:35:23] Speaker I: I don't like that. What do you mean? [00:35:25] Speaker G: Why not? You know. Yeah, that's right. [00:35:30] Speaker J: Wait. [00:35:31] Speaker D: Which means it will become visible. Don't do it. [00:35:33] Speaker G: No, no. This is the day to do it. [00:35:34] Speaker D: No, it's not. [00:35:35] Speaker I: Because it will become visible. [00:35:37] Speaker F: It's not ACE visibility day. It's Ace Pride. 18. [00:35:44] Speaker G: That's under our number. We want under, right? [00:35:47] Speaker I: No, we want over. [00:35:48] Speaker G: I thought we weren't under such. I mean, it's 81. [00:35:55] Speaker F: You're a boy too, Ferris. [00:35:56] Speaker I: Full confidence. Said the answer and thought it was right. [00:36:00] Speaker G: No, no, it really is 18. But is that. Do we really want a high number, not a low number? [00:36:04] Speaker I: Yeah, because if we're lowering it, Aubrey. [00:36:07] Speaker F: Do we want a high number? [00:36:08] Speaker C: It is. [00:36:09] Speaker B: It is. It is. [00:36:10] Speaker C: Roll over, man. [00:36:14] Speaker G: I thought it was like. I thought it was like the divine intervention where you want under the number. [00:36:19] Speaker C: Below what your number is. That's when the inquisition will start. [00:36:24] Speaker F: Use your hero point first. [00:36:26] Speaker C: I will allow you to use your hero point this one time. Because we are confused. [00:36:32] Speaker I: Because you're for your enthusiasm. [00:36:37] Speaker G: Just a quick question, just as a reminder. The tens place. One is the tens place and the single digit is the single digit. [00:36:47] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:36:47] Speaker F: Yeah. Oh, no. [00:36:50] Speaker G: How do we feel about a pre inquisition? Pre masquerade inquisition? I got 14. [00:36:54] Speaker C: Please say psych. [00:36:55] Speaker I: Please say psych. Right now. [00:36:57] Speaker G: I'm doing real good at rolling under the number. [00:37:00] Speaker I: It's ACE visibility day. You're making us visible to the ink position. [00:37:04] Speaker F: No, it's Ace Pride. [00:37:06] Speaker G: It's just International Ace Day. Or Pride of us. [00:37:10] Speaker F: Yeah, just hide in the sink. [00:37:11] Speaker D: Kitchen. You understand why you guys maybe rolled before now, right? Because we had to get higher than a 40. [00:37:18] Speaker J: Okay. [00:37:19] Speaker F: Yeah, that's. That's what you did last time. [00:37:22] Speaker G: Odds. [00:37:22] Speaker I: Listen, I need you to do my poke farm clicks because then I'll actually hit the obscenely low odds that I need at this point. [00:37:29] Speaker G: I say this with love. [00:37:30] Speaker I: I say this with affection. I know you can't control luck, but I'm bullying you for it anyways. [00:37:33] Speaker G: No, no, that's. [00:37:34] Speaker F: That's bold words coming from you, Tick. Just say it. [00:37:39] Speaker G: They have to feel vindicated where they can. Also, this has not been a great campaign for my rolling. [00:37:46] Speaker F: So. What's that? Inquisition, Aubrey. [00:37:47] Speaker C: The Inquisition is. Well, it's kind of already very helpful that there is this thing that the I Priest set up called his Blade. Whereas they are fully aware of you, and now they start hunting you. [00:38:08] Speaker G: But our threat level is so low. [00:38:11] Speaker C: Unfortunately, you just got very, very unlucky. [00:38:19] Speaker G: This is how we find out that the lady of Thorns is part of the Blade. [00:38:23] Speaker F: Oh, we. We don't know this, or do we? Is there, like, a public announcement? [00:38:33] Speaker C: There is not. [00:38:34] Speaker F: Okay? [00:38:35] Speaker C: This is just a thing that you. The players, know is now you are being hunted. [00:38:40] Speaker F: Okay, well, we can't. We were just gonna have to do what we were gonna do anyways, so. [00:38:45] Speaker I: Why do I feel like something. [00:38:46] Speaker H: I always think I'm being hunted. [00:38:48] Speaker F: That's true. [00:38:50] Speaker D: I think it's so funny that our main reason for lowering threat was to not start the Inquisition. We did it anyways. It's just so funny, guys. [00:39:01] Speaker G: Hey, sometimes you roll really high numbers, and sometimes you don't roll high numbers much at all. [00:39:10] Speaker F: Did. [00:39:11] Speaker G: And you know what? I did go into that with the confidence of, hey, I don't know, high very often. This campaign. [00:39:17] Speaker F: Did. Did Lou, like, step up in public by accident? [00:39:22] Speaker G: It was like a monster bird in public not too long ago. [00:39:25] Speaker F: You know? Hey, you know what? Thematically, it makes sense if they're the Blades. [00:39:31] Speaker G: And also, maybe. [00:39:35] Speaker D: They. [00:39:35] Speaker F: They know some, huh? [00:39:37] Speaker J: Yeah. [00:39:38] Speaker G: At least one of them has a personal connection to Graveling. [00:39:40] Speaker D: I was gonna say we know some about them as well, but it's more so now I have. I'm. I'm glad I didn't roll it, because that would have meant my brother doxed me, and that would have been a little. That would have been worse, in my opinion. [00:39:57] Speaker F: You're. [00:40:00] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:40:01] Speaker C: Yeah. Well, we'll certainly see what the consequences of that are later. It's going to take some time. [00:40:09] Speaker J: What's the. [00:40:10] Speaker G: What's the Blade's full name? I keep trying to call them, like, the Emperor's Blade, and I don't know where I'm getting that from. We don't have an emperor. [00:40:16] Speaker C: It's just the High Priest's Blade. [00:40:19] Speaker I: The Bloody Blades is what you're thinking of, which is also not correct. [00:40:22] Speaker G: Yeah, I also keep trying to call them the Holy Blade. And that's just very confusing. [00:40:27] Speaker I: The knife guys. Hey, we're knife guys. Welcome to our show. [00:40:30] Speaker F: Oh, they have Johnny. It's Johnny. Knife hands. [00:40:33] Speaker J: Johnny Knife hands. [00:40:36] Speaker F: Is there a Freddie Mercury as well? [00:40:42] Speaker G: Not in Malachid, but there isn't Fashania. [00:40:45] Speaker F: Let's go. They're a mermaid. [00:40:47] Speaker G: There is iron. [00:40:50] Speaker C: Who wants to go first on the scene? [00:40:54] Speaker F: I know there's the gravy one. I have one where that will follow the graving one. Once I find out information from Grave Wing, that means I'm going back to Silver Court again. [00:41:11] Speaker G: Have I heard back from my sister? Knob from Peregrine. Regarding. I wanted to talk about our mama. [00:41:19] Speaker C: Yes, you would have been told to meet her this week in There's a tea shop in Twilight Grove. So yeah, it's some nebulous point this week. [00:41:35] Speaker B: Yay. [00:41:38] Speaker G: Lou will go meet her second older sister for tea. Tea and trauma. [00:41:46] Speaker C: Tea and trauma. [00:41:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:50] Speaker C: There's this place called the tea Garden in Twilight Grove and it's probably a place you probably have never been here before. So Twilight Grove is an area, a district that we have not been in yet. Twilight Grove is. Is where most of the lamplighters call home. And. And most of the. Most of like the big official temples are in Twilight Grove. And you know, the Holy blood. [00:42:29] Speaker B: They. [00:42:29] Speaker C: Have their base here. [00:42:32] Speaker G: Feels like such a safe place to be right now. [00:42:34] Speaker C: It's so incredibly safe. There's bladers and holy blood everywhere. [00:42:40] Speaker D: So safe. [00:42:44] Speaker C: So yeah, you see your sister, Peregrine. Oh, just give us a brief description of her. [00:42:50] Speaker G: Yeah, Peregrine is another tiefling. She's got more of their dad's complexion. So it's a little like a Palish gray with. With like gray short curly gray hair and horns and a scar over one eye and generally gives off like a kind of like friendly personality. But like she's. She kind of is very like Dragon age origins. Leliana energy. Very friendly on the surface and could kill you underneath. [00:43:30] Speaker C: Yeah. Looks like a cinnamon roll could actually kill you. [00:43:33] Speaker G: Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's usually like dressed for like adventure and less like status appropriate clothing and more like. No, I'm. I need to be able to move at a moment's notice kind of thing but still fashionable. [00:43:50] Speaker C: So like is an actual like adventurer and stuff. [00:43:54] Speaker G: I think think probably she's a spy with one of the bard guilds. But I think she's a bard and like she's a spy bard. But yeah, Lou doesn't know that. That's just my guess. [00:44:07] Speaker I: Yeah. [00:44:08] Speaker C: Yeah. As you see her? She already has tea there ready for you and we'll wave you over and. [00:44:16] Speaker B: Say that was the roads to get your litter otherwise. [00:44:22] Speaker J: Oh, you have no idea how surprising. [00:44:25] Speaker G: My last week has been. [00:44:27] Speaker J: So. Yes, I was surprised that you answered it. What it went. [00:44:33] Speaker B: I was certainly curious you've been getting out there. I've been hearing a little bit about it. [00:44:44] Speaker J: Yes. I thought it was time that you through the nest as it were. [00:44:50] Speaker B: I think this is straight up burning the nest. [00:44:55] Speaker J: Interesting way to put it. [00:44:58] Speaker B: Well, you know your choice of spouse. [00:45:03] Speaker J: Oh well you know that part. [00:45:11] Speaker G: That. [00:45:12] Speaker J: Wasn'T quite so controversial when I depict them and you know it's love. [00:45:20] Speaker G: We are definitely and totally in love. [00:45:26] Speaker J: I don't sound convincing right now but it is because it has been a. [00:45:29] Speaker G: Very difficult week and I haven't really. [00:45:31] Speaker J: Think about that part. [00:45:32] Speaker B: No, no, no. [00:45:33] Speaker G: That's fair to be lovey dovey right. [00:45:36] Speaker J: Now but it will be once there's time for. Anyway. [00:45:40] Speaker B: Yeah, it is. Your. Your letter sounded a little. What is going on to explain. [00:45:50] Speaker J: I wanted to talk about the Rami curse. [00:45:54] Speaker B: Oh yes, that. That curse. [00:45:56] Speaker C: The curse. The curses are family. [00:45:59] Speaker J: Yeah. The other family curse that you nor any of our siblings are fit to tell me about. [00:46:08] Speaker B: Widow was told not to. [00:46:12] Speaker G: And we. [00:46:12] Speaker J: Always do what we are told by our parents. [00:46:15] Speaker B: When we were young there was very much. You don't talk about this. Bad things happen if you talk about this. [00:46:23] Speaker J: Bad things happen if you don't talk about it. [00:46:25] Speaker G: Can you tell? [00:46:26] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:46:26] Speaker B: No looking back at it. I. I wish we had because I don't know, it's. Maybe somebody would have had a answer. [00:46:35] Speaker G: Lou's going to put down a fistful of feathers from previous moltings just on the table. [00:46:45] Speaker B: So it's happening. [00:46:47] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:46:50] Speaker B: Okay. It's a lot of it is. It's one of those many things that I've also been trying to look into something to do with a great ancestor doing something heretical. [00:47:14] Speaker C: Cursing our family. [00:47:15] Speaker B: But yet again most texts I can come across that have anything to do with that have been destroyed and I've been looking. [00:47:25] Speaker J: What do you remember about mother's death? [00:47:30] Speaker B: It was just very sudden. That's what I remember. [00:47:38] Speaker C: She. [00:47:38] Speaker B: I remember her father telling us that things had taken turn for the worst. She had been come sick. [00:47:46] Speaker C: It was. [00:47:48] Speaker B: I do remember there was. There was a bit of a. The plague passing through that year. So I. At the time I didn't think too much of it. But now you're making me rethink things. [00:48:03] Speaker J: Can I. [00:48:04] Speaker G: Can I. Is There. Does this game have inside checks? Can I inside check? [00:48:09] Speaker B: Do a perception check? [00:48:10] Speaker G: I won't freaking trust my sister as far as I can throw her. Frankly. You look like the dice of doubt. [00:48:22] Speaker J: Oh yes. [00:48:23] Speaker G: You are the dice of doubt. That's a natural 20 for a 31. [00:48:29] Speaker C: For the most part. You know, she's. She's being pretty. Pretty honest with you. There are. There are things that she is of course holding back. She. She definitely sort of. She might have had doubts longer than she. She's letting on, but she definitely did believe it in the beginning. [00:48:53] Speaker J: So you knowing and I presume experiencing the family curse up close and personal at no point wondered if that was related to our mothers death? [00:49:15] Speaker B: I did wonder. But dear in. [00:49:19] Speaker C: There were. [00:49:20] Speaker B: There were a lot of things that lined up. A plague passing through Manad that year. I knew many people who died of it. [00:49:29] Speaker J: If it was the plague, they would have told us it was the plague. They did not. [00:49:34] Speaker B: That's true. I was unfortunately away and very busy at the time. [00:49:41] Speaker J: Tell me about it. Well, it should please you to know that she definitely did not die of plague. [00:49:51] Speaker B: In the curse. Yes. [00:49:53] Speaker J: In a manner of speaking, yes. Something like a curse in a giant hammer. [00:50:03] Speaker C: And it tilts her head like a bird would. [00:50:05] Speaker B: As she looks at you, it's like. [00:50:08] Speaker C: Just imagine. Owl. Go on. [00:50:16] Speaker J: I have finally seen her body. [00:50:23] Speaker B: So she was not buried? [00:50:27] Speaker J: No. [00:50:29] Speaker B: Where was she? [00:50:34] Speaker J: In the city. [00:50:37] Speaker B: Be more specific. Where in the city? [00:50:45] Speaker J: In the part of the city where people have not been in a while. [00:50:51] Speaker B: Starlight Bastion Maybe. [00:50:55] Speaker J: Or perhaps it was in the crater. Her. [00:51:00] Speaker B: Okay. And you saw her body? [00:51:06] Speaker J: Yes. [00:51:10] Speaker B: So that means. Not that I'm surprised that father would lie to us, but. [00:51:20] Speaker J: What do you mean by that? [00:51:25] Speaker B: Father always twisted the truth to his own benefit. We were always told that you were too sick to leave. [00:51:38] Speaker J: No. I stayed because of father's grief. Because he fell apart without me. [00:51:45] Speaker B: Father always told us that you stayed because you were too sickly to leave. [00:51:54] Speaker J: I see. We have not always been very close. For mostly logistic reasons. But you are my sister. And I would like very much to believe that I can trust one person in this family. Perhaps two. So you are right about the lying. But it is worse. You. You. You're the curse. You're good. You're right. You have it handled. You got it. [00:52:39] Speaker B: Under control. [00:52:41] Speaker J: I have a follow up question. But not now. Mother was alive until a few weeks ago. [00:52:50] Speaker B: Holy. [00:52:54] Speaker C: Just lock her in the basement somewhere. [00:52:57] Speaker J: Triangles? Yeah, I think so. [00:53:03] Speaker B: Okay. [00:53:05] Speaker C: Like leaning forward. Like hanging on. Only every word. [00:53:09] Speaker J: I. I Don't know everything. I. It's been a very hectic and bad few days. But I do know that I saw her. And she was alive. And then she was not. I didn't know it was her until afterwards. I kind of. Later. [00:53:35] Speaker B: Right. [00:53:36] Speaker J: She was kind of. The curse got off. I guess. [00:53:46] Speaker B: Yeah. That would always find raven feathers hidden around the house. [00:53:53] Speaker J: Yeah. I don't know where she is now. Someone took her body. [00:54:05] Speaker B: Okay. [00:54:06] Speaker J: I also sort of ruined Papa's study as a bird monster. So that might. He might have things to say about that. I don't. [00:54:24] Speaker G: I haven't. [00:54:28] Speaker B: Of course I don't. I don't go home very often. So. [00:54:31] Speaker J: Oh. I'm well aware of that. [00:54:35] Speaker B: It is better that Father and I. [00:54:36] Speaker C: Spend are always at least one district. [00:54:39] Speaker B: Apart at all times. [00:54:43] Speaker J: I'm glad you get that distance from the rest of the family. What this has been something. [00:54:58] Speaker G: Is the bird thing. [00:54:59] Speaker J: Is it always birds? Yori is not a bird. But there are the rest of us. All birds. Is that the thing? [00:55:05] Speaker B: The rest of us are birds. [00:55:07] Speaker G: Did they know that when they named us all after birds? [00:55:09] Speaker J: That seems a little. [00:55:12] Speaker B: I unfortunately think so. It was some kind of weird cruel joke. [00:55:17] Speaker G: Wow. [00:55:18] Speaker J: Okay. You know the first two or three is short. But then after that you have to. [00:55:23] Speaker G: Break up the theme. [00:55:31] Speaker J: Don't. Don't tell anyone else about this yet. Please. [00:55:39] Speaker B: I can do that. I'm very good at keeping secrets. [00:55:44] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:55:45] Speaker J: I'm learning that too. [00:55:48] Speaker C: Out of her pocket she pulls a etched coin and will place it on. [00:55:54] Speaker B: The table in front of you and say if you can ever get in contact with me. Sometimes I'm out on a job. Take this coin to a theater in the Raven Theater in Ravenswood and ask to speak to the chorus. [00:56:13] Speaker J: Cool. Lou will take the coin. [00:56:19] Speaker G: And I think she's actually kind of touched that she's being given this point of contact that normally she doesn't get. [00:56:29] Speaker C: This little wooden coin with a musical music note scratched into it. [00:56:38] Speaker J: Thank you. [00:56:39] Speaker B: You're welcome. I'm sorry I wasn't around as much. Sorry none of us were. I hope to make up for it with. This. [00:56:52] Speaker J: Is a kind gesture. And. And it's fine. You know, if there were. I was so much younger than all of you. I don't really blame you. You have your lives and I am starting to find mine. [00:57:11] Speaker B: Yes. And some of us tried. It was always hard. Father lied about you being sick. So we come up with reasons why we shouldn't come by. [00:57:30] Speaker J: I have to go. We are dealing with some wild things. But thank you for meeting with me and the queen. Do. Do we. Do we? Are we. Is it. Do we hug? [00:57:48] Speaker B: Are we hugging? We can do the hug. [00:57:53] Speaker J: Okay. We're going to. We're going to hug my sister. We hugged. [00:58:00] Speaker B: Right? [00:58:02] Speaker G: Normal thing. [00:58:04] Speaker B: Take care of yourself, Alette. [00:58:06] Speaker J: And you. And you. [00:58:11] Speaker G: Okay, bye. [00:58:15] Speaker J: Now. [00:58:16] Speaker G: I'm going to go. [00:58:17] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:58:17] Speaker C: You leave the twilight grove behind with a strange little wooden coin and orders to. If you ever need anything to talk to Soph, go to a theater and ask to talk to the chorus. [00:58:37] Speaker J: Very interesting. [00:58:38] Speaker C: Incredibly. Do you want to follow up on anything you've learned? [00:58:49] Speaker J: Not as of yet. [00:58:55] Speaker G: I think the only real follow up. [00:58:58] Speaker J: She has is just confronting Dear Papa and she's not quite ready for that. [00:59:06] Speaker B: It's fair. [00:59:10] Speaker G: But it's sure brewing. [00:59:12] Speaker J: It is sure brewing. [00:59:16] Speaker G: Can I. Am I able to do retraining this week at all? [00:59:24] Speaker C: Yeah, you can spend part of the week retraining for sure. [00:59:27] Speaker G: Okay, I'm gonna retrain. [00:59:30] Speaker J: Feet. [00:59:31] Speaker G: I gotta double check which one it was. [00:59:33] Speaker J: But I'm gonna. [00:59:34] Speaker G: That's what the rest of my week is. [00:59:38] Speaker J: Right? [00:59:39] Speaker C: Yuri, you said there was something. [00:59:43] Speaker F: Well, it's technically grave. Wing has something for Yuri. Yeah, true. I have something after that's also in Silver Court, actually. Because I do. Towards the end of the week, I do want to go back home to my mom. But we'll see what happens after this conversation with Gravelink if Aki doesn't die. [01:00:08] Speaker D: So as requested, I will find some time to meet up with just Yuri. Maybe like we're at. I don't know, we are at somewhere else where there is alcohol and I can pour you like a shot. [01:00:30] Speaker F: Yeah, because you did say at one point like we should have a chat. It's about like. Do you like pointed with your eyes or our body language? I don't know if you can actually point with your eyes. You have a mask. But you know. [01:00:41] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean you're, you're on this side of the. Unless you really wanted to be on the other side of the. The, the river for anything. I don't know. [01:00:49] Speaker B: There's a. [01:00:50] Speaker C: There's a place called the Traveler's Rest in Darklight Bazaar. [01:00:55] Speaker D: Yeah, let's go there. [01:00:57] Speaker F: My other exes. No work. Anything? I don't know. No, that's a joke. I'm not saying no. Absolutely not. [01:01:03] Speaker I: Is that my ex place of work? [01:01:05] Speaker D: Yes. [01:01:08] Speaker I: I hate all of you. [01:01:11] Speaker D: We're going there. I just, I, I, I ordered some food to try and see what it tastes like with when it's not. I was Cooking. Can I roll to see if I like it? [01:01:29] Speaker C: Sure. [01:01:30] Speaker D: This is me being a piece of. For tick. Yeah, I'll roll. I'll roll for it. Do I like it? Do I like it? Nah, nah, I don't like it. Like, it's fine. It's. It's food. It's not like horrible tasting, but I don't know. Niall does something better with the broth. She's rather watered down. [01:01:57] Speaker I: Ew. [01:02:01] Speaker D: Is vegetarian drink? Because I think drinking might be needed for this. [01:02:06] Speaker F: Okay. [01:02:07] Speaker D: Yeah. It's not normally vegetarian, that's for sure. So, like. I mean, like, in terms of, like, the food. Unfortunately, it's not vegetarian. But the drinks are. [01:02:19] Speaker F: Usually. Usually, yeah. [01:02:21] Speaker D: I mean. I mean, there's bread for the table, so I'm assuming bread is weed. [01:02:27] Speaker F: May be hard to come by. Who could say that's true? [01:02:30] Speaker C: That's true. [01:02:31] Speaker F: You can make bone dust bread. [01:02:32] Speaker D: Bone dust bread. Which I don't think. I don't think. I don't think that's something you want. [01:02:36] Speaker F: No. Yuri walk in. You. You would be able to tell just from the body language. They've 100 been here before, many times. Because they don't look out of place like in their. Like how they walk in here. So they're gonna sit down next to the drink and just. So I guess this is a good space to talk as any. What's. What's going on? [01:03:06] Speaker D: Yeah, well, how much has. How much does Lou tell you? I just want to know what I. [01:03:16] Speaker F: Gotta fill you in on about what happened with. Yuri's gonna imitate flapping. Yeah, I mean, not much. Just that lost control. You helped her and that's kind of it. I believe it's been quite busy, but yeah. [01:03:49] Speaker D: Yeah. Well, she. She saw something at home. Was letters from her mom. [01:04:09] Speaker F: Oh, from the Talus book that Juniper had. [01:04:15] Speaker D: Nah, raw letters. [01:04:21] Speaker F: Yurido is about to sip their drink and then puts the glass down. [01:04:25] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:04:26] Speaker F: From where from? [01:04:30] Speaker D: Well, addressed to her dad. Like they were corresponding. [01:04:39] Speaker F: I assume after, you know, leaving is the reason why. These are very, very distressing. [01:04:50] Speaker D: Yeah. Well, there's one more bit. Do you remember that beast we fought back at Talus's manor? [01:05:05] Speaker B: Bigly. [01:05:07] Speaker D: That's your aunt. Sorry, I'm a band aid ripper when it comes to bad news. [01:05:18] Speaker F: No, you're that in there. [01:05:26] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:05:26] Speaker F: The whole time. [01:05:28] Speaker D: Whole time she's been. She was. I don't think she knows what she was getting into. You know, you guys seem pretty desperate to control these curses. I don't. I don't know. Look, man, These mad scientist types, they'll. You'll do a lot when you're desperate and they'll do a lot when they wanna graven kind of just takes a sip of of her drink. It's just like damn, this is sucks. [01:06:06] Speaker F: And did Bernard know? [01:06:12] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:06:12] Speaker F: Sets. [01:06:17] Speaker D: It looks like. [01:06:18] Speaker F: Oh no, go ahead, go ahead. Go ahead. [01:06:20] Speaker D: I was gonna say ribbon. Continues it looks like. Looks like Alouette's dad has been a fucking weasel this whole time. I'm not sure the exact contents, but I do know that Lou read everything and she turned there at her house, father's study or something. But if she was a bird for that long, that big ass bird. [01:07:05] Speaker F: Yuri is going to pick up the drink, shot or not, is gonna down it like a shot. And you could tell Yuri knows what's happening. You could tell by the time it hits his tongue. It does catch a flame. And Yuri's mouth just closes and like smoke comes out for a second. Puts the glass down very deliberately. [01:07:34] Speaker D: I will order you another drink, but I will also order you a glass of water because I'm not sure alcohol plus fire seems like a bad idea. I'll just let you make your your choices. Water, whiskey, blood is spoiling. [01:07:52] Speaker F: It's quite literal this time. They're going to sit there for a second and they're going to kind of look at you and. Why are you telling me this? [01:08:14] Speaker D: Well, when I found Lou, she's in a worse state. Kind of not entirely there, kind of calm. Was able to calm her down and she kind of word vomited everything. I don't even know if she knows how much. She told me. The other thing though is her mother's body is gone. It was gone when we got there. I don't know if she's what that means dead or alive, but. [01:08:58] Speaker F: Was Dallas's body there? [01:09:04] Speaker D: Gm it was gone too, right? [01:09:07] Speaker G: Okay, yes. [01:09:08] Speaker D: Grwing's gonna shake her head. Also gone. But that was dead. [01:09:14] Speaker C: I. Yeah, yeah, I remember. [01:09:19] Speaker D: We should have kept a. I mean in hindsight we should have kept a closer eye on it. Should have gotten rid of the bodies ourselves. But. [01:09:30] Speaker F: You know, we didn't expect him to come back to life. We didn't know about mistress yet. [01:09:36] Speaker D: No. Which is. It's going to be real upsetting if we have to fight your aunt's corpse again. Again knowing fully now. But I think it's better that you know in general. [01:10:01] Speaker F: Yuri's gonna ponder both the water and the alcohol in front of them. It's gonna down the other alcohol again. This time a little Bit of the fire escapes their mouth but they're gonna, you know, fan it away and you're gonna look at you again. Their eyes are kind of like. Are trying to be very stoned, but it's definitely cracking. They're like, who doesn't trust me, huh? [01:10:35] Speaker D: From what I understand of your family issues, it seems like everybody was keeping secrets from her. I think she trusts you more than her father. [01:10:54] Speaker F: But. [01:10:58] Speaker D: She'S grown. It's a little bit hard to re establish your reality now that it's real and not some picture book. I don't think you guys. I don't think your lives are picturesque. But it was definitely a nicer book than enjoying gestures to the tavern. [01:11:24] Speaker F: Yeah, I don't. Well, the only fault it is is mine. [01:11:40] Speaker J: So I think. [01:11:41] Speaker D: I think you did what you knew how to do. Well is there anything else you got questions about would like to know. [01:12:03] Speaker F: Should give Lou a little space for at least a couple days. Maybe I could get sass will decide some more books for her. Well I. I can only assume it's like evening, right? [01:12:29] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:12:29] Speaker F: Yeah. We're peak. Peak travelers rest hours where Niall would normally be here. But the food's worse now so they're not. Yuri's gonna like tap their fingers on the table. Is going to pull out their like pouch of gold and put it in front of Gravewig. Give me back the money later. I have to go take care of some family. [01:12:54] Speaker D: Have any problems, you got enough to cross the river. [01:13:00] Speaker F: Right? I'm going take out some silver and a couple gold and put in my pocket and leave the rest there. Mind you. This is a pouch full of like 20 gold. [01:13:12] Speaker D: Graven will shoe you off, let you go do your own thing. But like maybe like as you like. Open the door, she shall pipe up one thing. Just let her know that you're here to talk and let her come to you. Worked with literally everybody in my family except for one. [01:13:43] Speaker F: Either way Al Yuri gives like. Like an acknowledgement wave and is gonna head out. [01:13:52] Speaker C: So I guess the question is where is Yurido going to head? [01:13:58] Speaker F: I think. I think both out of the end of character. Yuri believes that it's probably a bad idea to murder Barry right now without the rest of the family there. I actually. [01:14:10] Speaker C: Are you going to murder Barry right now with the rest of. Without the rest of the film? [01:14:13] Speaker F: No, no, no. I actually want to go to my house but I want to sneak around. Plus two stealth. [01:14:25] Speaker C: I foresee only good things. [01:14:27] Speaker F: Yeah we could do this like next episode if people have other stuff they Want to do? Yeah, I need to do some snooping on my mom. [01:14:36] Speaker C: Anyone else have anything they would like to do? [01:14:38] Speaker B: And it can got to be a. [01:14:40] Speaker C: Little bit nebulous, is that this is over the week. You're kind of laying a little bit low this week as you're preparing for the masquerade. [01:14:50] Speaker H: I will be regularly returning to the tower to read all these crazy books I've found just to see what I can learn. [01:15:03] Speaker D: I don't necessarily need to RP it, but I'm going to lay out what I plan to do for the Kessie stuff. I'm gonna go visit her during a not rush hour time is the best way to put it. So maybe dock workers are turning in, people are going like to bed for dinner or whatever. I am gonna buy her a really nice fish and some really nice, like the fruits equivalent. I don't know, stuff like that. Bring it all the way to her, Wait for her to show up. Because it's a bit of an offering, but like also a bit of a bribe. Like maybe I'll get her that good fish. You know, maybe I might. Let me get her that. That premium. That premium slice or whatever. Get her that good fish, get her the good fruits. Let her. Let her pick and eat and stuff. And then I'm gonna be like, all right, Cassie, I'm gonna need more skills, loose ones. I'm making things. [01:16:13] Speaker C: If you want, you can. You can borrow Marigold so that Marigold can like actively talk to Cassie for you. [01:16:20] Speaker D: That's. Oh my God. Yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna bring Marigold and be like, you gotta help me bribe. Cassie. [01:16:27] Speaker C: Will know exactly what kind of fruits and what. Exactly what exactly kind of fish. [01:16:32] Speaker D: All right, change of plans. Grab Marigold, Convince Marigold to help me make Marigold. Help me like buy things for Cassie that Kessie would like. Then go to Kessie again around that time of non rush hour. Bribe her. [01:16:50] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:16:52] Speaker D: And. And when Cassie's like kind of chilling, I might even try to get measurements for her. I feel real bad just taking all of her shit. So I might as well attempt to also get something made that's Kezi sized. God, we'll just use my scales. It's fine. When I'm in scales for my tail specifically are way bigger than the scales on my body. Right. So I'll just pick ones from my tail to. To use to make for Cassie here. And maybe not all of it. It has to be fully scaled. You know, maybe we get some rope. [01:17:34] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:17:35] Speaker D: And get. We get creative with it. But yeah, like, that's the. That's the plan. I need. I need a lot of made. I did the math not for how much this is gonna cost me. [01:17:46] Speaker B: I'm. [01:17:47] Speaker D: I. Which by the way, like, I'm okay with paying in parts, you know, like in installments. You know, you get a group of this done, you got some of this done. Also works. But I think I needed like, I'm gonna. Including the ones that I already am having made. Right now I think I'm making 16 things. There's too many NPCs that I like. [01:18:15] Speaker C: It's fair. But yeah, no, you can definitely do that with Marigold's help and you know, start working on all of these things. [01:18:26] Speaker B: Well, and other than that, I think. [01:18:29] Speaker C: That makes a pretty good spot to end this episode on as we will come back next time and figure out what the Yuri skulking gets them. Only good things, I suppose. [01:18:44] Speaker I: Hey everyone, be careful. Yuri had his credit card stolen and needs your help in order to help. Go follow us on Blue sky on Instagram and give us support on your Patreon in order to get Yuri one of his exes back so he can actually get some. And his credit card because he gave all of his money to Grave Wing. So remember, give us that support, give us some positive reviews and say hi in the chat and maybe Yura will be able to get some for once in his life that he can actually keep. So stay safe. Eat some people and don't be a trashy person. [01:19:17] Speaker A: Waking up sleep I've been dreaming Dr. Long I cannot find meaning hold my hand Let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all these demons always roam me in this red light it calls me he is reaching out consuming Come on. [01:21:23] Speaker D: Sa.
