[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam. Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand Let me stay by your side through this never ending night. I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out, consuming. [00:01:30] Speaker B: Hello everybody. Welcome back to Goblets and Gaze. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell some players to introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing and we'll get rolling into things. [00:01:39] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante Grave Wing, who is a Nagaji self monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns. [00:01:50] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire. The revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and sweet scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he him pronouns. [00:02:13] Speaker B: So what happened last time? [00:02:17] Speaker C: That's me, right? [00:02:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:20] Speaker C: Jesus. So last. Last time we had. We had Grave Wing doing essentially a small training beginners crash course montage on how to be a kineticist. 101 5. Five people from the bloody blades opened the gate, awakened became one with nature. That kind of type shit. And including Nadia, which is funny. And now we're just kind of like, oh, where's that gonna go? That's kind of cute. What kind of shenanigans will that ragtag group a decent party size group campaign party size group 5 Bestie do, who knows? Meanwhile, Alastair was doing rat things. Specifically snooping and looking for clues. You know, trying to find the mole. The mole being a double agent. Class traitor. You know, that kind of. That kind of mole, not the other kinds of things happened. He got dumped on by a bunch of expensive perfume. But you know what? Stick it to the rich people. He did find a ring that can cast message to a matching set. So like he found that underneath like the bar table or whatever, you know, suspicious. And then him. Lorelei and Graveling have planned to like just start laying out some false deets so that way we can trap the mole. Then we got a summons from Judith, AKA Mimi, AKA Michelle Jones, AKA Alesha, kills. I'm sorry, I hear that all the time from Mimi because we record and I just. I like that. I like it. And Judith was like, I brought costumes. Guys, we're gonna go the bloodline's house. Let's kick his ass. He is totally has a woman in his basement. Everybody was like, what the fuck? Like this was happening. Mid change. Like we were getting all the information while we're like taking our pants off and stuff. It's like, this is wild. This is. Okay, this is. That bitch work fast. But like, also she has like a naming connection so it makes sense. But like, like we met like six hours ago. Last time we tried to do something like this, it took us two to three weeks of planning and Dusty got kidnapped. So like, you know, dang. Okay, so we did that. We dressed up, we got in infiltrated sort of juju. Feels like straight business. Like, oh, you found the other missing. That's not the right missing woman. But like, you can't be kidnapping women just willy nilly. While Raven checked out the place, found her old suit, vigilante suit. That's mildly creepy and kind of got confirmed by that elven woman whose name I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure she had green hair. Thank you. Yeah, she confirmed that Grave Wings and Bloodline's little sister is here. Trapped probably in the basement or something like that. I can't remember which room, but it was a room. And then Judith locked the door and said, moon Rain. We are on the first floor of a two story house. I don't know how that works magic wise. I like to think that there's a giant hole that just like, you know, I hope nobody was upstairs. We are on like the first. We didn't walk up any stairs, y'. All. And this was like at least that two story house. Where does it come from? You know, like, there's no way. It just like crept through the window. I've been thinking about this all week. Like, I've been thinking of it like how like an alien just kind of like, you know, like, like, like that, like into the room and like, is there like a. Like a. Like there is a circle? What am I saying? But like, is it like a pattern circle now? I don't know. Also the moon, like, the moon is big now. I don't know. There's a lot of cool going on here. And by cool, I mean, like, this is terrifying. We're in a kill box. We keep putting ourselves in kill boxes here on Goblets and Gays and that's where we're at. It's going to be straight combat. Surely nothing can go wrong. This guy only like beat the ever living out of Yuri with like. No, no, no problem. [00:07:48] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:07:50] Speaker D: Why don't we. [00:07:50] Speaker B: Why don't we start off by rolling some initiative? [00:07:55] Speaker C: I hope somebody adds like the despicable me. We're Going to steal the wood like when moonlight gets dropped. I would love that. I could have that. [00:08:08] Speaker B: You have that power. You do have that power. [00:08:15] Speaker C: You know, this could have been worse. [00:08:17] Speaker D: Hey, me and Judith are tied for a 33. [00:08:20] Speaker C: I'm so glad y' all are rolling better because I rolled 23, so I did minus 10 that. [00:08:28] Speaker B: Well. I rolled a two for bloodline for a 19. [00:08:33] Speaker C: Yeah. Jumping. We're jumping him. [00:08:38] Speaker B: All right. And yeah, that means. So Alistair or Judith, which one of you would like to go first since you're both at 33? [00:08:47] Speaker D: Well, we have the guest go first. [00:08:49] Speaker E: Yeah, I think that works. I am gonna do a quick one action heal on myself since I got stabbed in the hand last session. So that's just gonna be a cool 5D10. No big deal. All right, so I'm just gonna heal off all the damage that he dealts to me and then I'm going to test his saves real quick with an enfeeble. I'm just going to aim that same hand back at him and just this beam of blue light is going to blast him in the chest. [00:09:34] Speaker B: That is a 34. [00:09:37] Speaker E: Well, that saves. I think that's a. It's a regular save. [00:09:48] Speaker B: What is your DC? [00:09:49] Speaker E: My DC is 25. [00:09:51] Speaker B: 25 then. Yeah. That is a regular save. So he'll be enfeebled until the start of your next turn. [00:10:00] Speaker E: All right, Alistair, him up. [00:10:04] Speaker B: Go. Great mouse Detective. [00:10:05] Speaker C: Go. [00:10:08] Speaker D: All right, so I'm going to take a look at him and try to figure out what I'm going to do as I devise a stratagem. And 11 I am not feeling too great about but. And as part of that, I will make a knowledge check for figure out what I can get about this guy. [00:10:39] Speaker B: From. [00:10:41] Speaker D: How he's holding himself, my knowledge of graveling and what she said about people. What type of check would work best for him? [00:10:55] Speaker B: Society. [00:10:58] Speaker C: Society. Society says I'm gay. I don't remember if that's how the meme goes. [00:11:08] Speaker E: It's definitely not. [00:11:14] Speaker D: All right. I keep clicking on the wrong thing. There we go. Society check. And that needs to be hidden to me because I have my good old tell me things wrong by which I mean dubious knowledge can ask one question. What is his weakest save? [00:11:45] Speaker B: It would be a will save. [00:11:50] Speaker D: All right. And I don't think I have anything good to do will saves. But let's go ahead and just see how I do when I'm hitting him. So I will pull back my on my bow and put in a kind of woody looking Arrow as I cast, tangle vine as I hit him with my. Or miss him. We'll see. Hit or miss. It's going to be one of those. So with the device StrataTagem, I get a 27. [00:12:39] Speaker B: That is exactly a hit. [00:12:43] Speaker D: Oh, yay. And along with that comes tangle vine, which just gives him a minus 10 penalty to his speeds for one round. [00:13:01] Speaker B: All right. [00:13:04] Speaker D: And that is all three actions. So that's the end of my turn damage. Oh, yeah, but I imagine you do want that, theoretically. [00:13:15] Speaker B: You don't have to if you don't want to. [00:13:19] Speaker D: Yeah. And I don't believe Tanglevine actually has any damage that goes with it. So that's just the 18 piercing. [00:13:31] Speaker B: Yeah, you deal damage to him. Something about his. The armor that he is wearing seems to almost reflect some of the magic you hit him with. And that'll bring us to graveling. [00:13:52] Speaker C: Okay, so he is enfeebled for basically this round. And what? Detangle vine. [00:14:04] Speaker B: It just reduces his speed by 10ft. [00:14:07] Speaker C: Okay, okay, but like. Like, for, like, mine is fine. Right? Like, if I were to go up there, would bolo. [00:14:14] Speaker B: Yep. [00:14:14] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Dope, dope. So it's like. Yeah, Yep. Just gonna. Gonna spend my first action. Gotta unpause the game, Aubrey. [00:14:29] Speaker B: Oh, yep. There we go. [00:14:32] Speaker C: Thank you. It's my first action getting all up there. Second, just double checking something that I have here. Do I just not have it? Oh, no, I do. I'm stump. Okay. I'm going to spend another action to, like, open the gate, activate my little kinetic abilities, channel the element. There you go. That's the actual term. So a bunch of, like, wind just starts, like, popping up in the. In the room. If there's papers, they're flying. Dare I say even some. Some little sparks. Little. Little. Little sparks of electricity kind of surging a little bit through the air. I fairly certain he can clock. I'm fairly certain he has clocked who I am prior to this. [00:15:44] Speaker B: Oh, 100%. [00:15:45] Speaker C: Yeah. Like, I just. He. He's a. And before I do my. My last action, I'm going point at him and say, I'm going to give you two, three rounds before I get real serious. Knock the shit off. [00:16:23] Speaker B: He's gonna give you kind of a crooked smile and say, why don't you just cut to the chase and show me what you've. [00:16:40] Speaker C: Why'd you cut your hair? [00:16:44] Speaker B: Roll me a perception check. [00:16:52] Speaker C: 24. 24. Yeah. [00:16:58] Speaker B: 20. There's a moment. There's a moment of what almost seems like a mental disconnection before whatever Is there slammed back into place. Whatever this is. And he says just gotta leave it all behind. It doesn't matter anymore. [00:17:41] Speaker C: Gotta knock some sense into him. Literally. Flurry of blows. [00:17:45] Speaker B: Okay. AC is a 27. [00:17:50] Speaker C: Oh, you just. Okay. Thank you for giving me that. [00:17:52] Speaker B: I mean, Alistair. Alistair hit it exactly. So I was like, yeah, his AC is exactly 27. [00:17:58] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm not in any other stance, so I'm just. Just gonna accidentally not delete my moves. That would suck. And just rolly roll. That's a lot. One second. I. I don't have it in me to even attempt math right now. Even though it's. It would be like 34, bro. Whatever. [00:18:35] Speaker B: 34 will hit. [00:18:36] Speaker C: Yeah. 34. And then I said flurry of blues. So I'll. I'll roll for them both and then I'll just give you the lump sum damage. Is that okay? [00:18:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:46] Speaker C: Yeah. Bad. Oh, I think. Yeah, that's 26. [00:19:00] Speaker B: I think 26. 26 will not hit. [00:19:04] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Multi attack penalty. Oh. Long shot. I do have the Bane rune and I'm pretty sure ours is aberration. [00:19:23] Speaker B: He does not count as an aberration. [00:19:25] Speaker C: Okay. I. Yeah, I was like long, so I thought I'll just say it just in case. But yeah. 13 bludgeoning as I just. Yeah, I just. I start popping off. [00:19:39] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You hit. And these attacks make contact. Any more actions for your turn? Or was that all three? [00:19:49] Speaker C: If that was all three. It was movement. Opening the gate just in case. And then flurry of blows. Yeah. And I don't have the maneuver one, so I can only smack you. [00:20:04] Speaker B: And it is now Bloodline's turn. Bloodline is going to start off by sort of doing this motion where he hits his hand against his chest and there's sort of this spreading of magic as he uses his ability to shift the energy runes on his armor so they are resistant now to lightning or electricity. [00:20:32] Speaker C: He wants so much smoke. Styrofuddy. [00:20:35] Speaker B: Yeah. And so that's the first action. Second action is bringing this rapier down towards you. Great wing for 39. [00:20:54] Speaker C: That should crit me. Yeah. [00:21:01] Speaker B: Yes, I believe so. But it is not a natural 20. So there is no quick card pulled. Take 37 damage as he brings this down and pierces you. And it says just like all times. Right? And with one free hand, grabs a dagger off of his his bandolier and chucks it at Alistair. Because Alistair cast magic. [00:21:36] Speaker D: It was just an arrow, I swear. [00:21:39] Speaker B: So that is 32 damage. [00:21:42] Speaker D: Oh yeah. [00:21:43] Speaker B: That or 32 to hit. Yeah. Is it a crit? [00:21:46] Speaker D: No. [00:21:47] Speaker B: Okay, so you are going to take 20 damage as this gets you in your shoulder. And something about this dagger, when it hits you, feels like it's trying to disrupt the magic you can channel. But it is not successful because it is not crit. Okay, three actions. So that'll bring us back to the top of the round with Judith. [00:22:19] Speaker E: How hurt is grave wing after taking that crit? [00:22:26] Speaker C: I'm not bloodied yet. [00:22:30] Speaker E: Okay, in that case, I'm gonna open up my turn by casting shield. So that's just going to boost my AC by one. And then I'm going to cast bless. So all of my allies within a 15 foot emanation will get plus one to their attack rolls. And I can sustain the spell to increase the emanation's radius, but it lasts for a minute. So as the room source fills up with light, Judith is just gonna shout from behind you. Don't be discouraged. [00:23:32] Speaker C: Don't be. That's such a woke. Thank you, auntie. What do you want? Such a vibe. [00:23:42] Speaker B: And because it's the end of your turn, the enfeebled goes away. And Alistair, it is now your turn. [00:23:52] Speaker C: Ow. [00:23:56] Speaker D: All right, I'm gonna rethink my life choices while I devise a stratagem. Straight up a 10. What can I do? Tangle vine's not gonna help. You're hearing Alistair devise stratagem and real time. [00:24:32] Speaker B: Appropriate. [00:24:34] Speaker D: So that's just extra damage. He's currently resistant to electricity, so I don't want to do that. On the other hand, hit you deal. Your choice of. No, I. I need to help out against this guy in a little bit of a different way. So I am actually going to use a skill stratagem. And with a single, single action, I will pull out a scroll and cast fear on him. Let's go for that will save. He's weak willed. [00:25:34] Speaker B: I hope that is a 37. [00:25:40] Speaker D: That is a critical success. He's not that weak willed. [00:25:48] Speaker B: And roll an 18 on his dice. [00:25:54] Speaker D: Yeah. So that's my turn. That was in character, by the way. He's weak willed. He's not that weak willed. [00:26:07] Speaker B: Craveling. [00:26:09] Speaker C: I shrug at that remark because like low key. Same like. It's like. Yeah, no, yeah, that makes sense. I think. I think the best thing to do right now is. I'm gonna. I'm gonna. My first action is gonna. I. You know what? No, let's just. Let's just. Let's just trip him. I'm gonna trip him. Because if I trip him and If I'm successful in tripping him and he gets up, that's a movement action, right? Yes, thank you. Because now kick him. So. Yeah. Trip first. That's. That's a. Is that. That's an attack roll or athletics? I cannot remember. [00:27:10] Speaker E: It's athletics. But it counts as an attack. [00:27:12] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:27:13] Speaker B: Versus their reflex dc. [00:27:17] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Does Bless count in this one? [00:27:27] Speaker E: Bless has attack rolls specifically, so. No. [00:27:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:31] Speaker C: Thank you. I thought I would double check anyways. One second. Pretty sure that's good. Yeah. Like a dirty 30. [00:27:51] Speaker B: That is exactly the number you need. [00:27:56] Speaker C: Good to know. Okay, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna describe it yet. I'm not gonna describe it yet because I might want to add that to like the next flare of blows. Here I am. I'm gonna try to flurry and I forgot. I always forget. I have stunning. I can stun him. And I forget my bad guys. But what did I move it like? 29 is the first attack. [00:28:28] Speaker B: 29 will hit and. [00:28:38] Speaker C: I should. Why am I trying to mental mouth this? 25 that won't hit. [00:28:45] Speaker B: 25 will hit because he's proud. [00:28:47] Speaker C: Oh, you're insane. Yeah. Okay, so I'll just add the damage together for you then total damage should be. Yeah, it should be 26 for both hits. [00:29:08] Speaker B: So how much of that is count? Does any of it count as lightning damage or electrical damage? [00:29:15] Speaker C: No, I have to be. I have to specifically be using elemental blasts. And then I can choose. I just added that. Like, I can kind of make my elemental blast lightning damage whenever I want to, but I haven't used any elemental blasts yet. So the. This is just. I am straight up beating him with my fists or my feet, that kind of stuff. So I think, um, since we're side by side, it's very, very. Besides the. There's a. There's like a good almost like foot height difference between us because he's like a Vishkanya, so he doesn't ever stop growing. And that's my biggest op personally. But now that they're like side by side, they fight like exactly the same. Except I would say that bloodline is way more like polished, especially with like the sword play and stuff. But like, his stances are like that of like a street. Like a straight up melee fighter. Okay. Like, it's. It's very. It's given Iron Fist. Like Lin Lie Iron Fist. It's like, yeah, he can fight with a sword, but you can also just smack. The Shadow versus Grave Wing. He's like, way more unpredictable, like right now where she just like he stabbed her. Fine. She just gets real low leg sweep and then does with the same leg that she swept him on. Pulls it up. Then she hold like grabs it with her hand to pull it back some more. So when she lets go the foot comes down with more force and I just stomp him. And I think I have one more action. [00:31:06] Speaker B: You do? [00:31:08] Speaker C: Yeah. If I hit him again, it's going to be at the maximum multi attack penalty, right? [00:31:14] Speaker B: Yep. [00:31:18] Speaker C: My impulse attack like that one second. This my imp. It's been so long since I've used. Used more to fight. [00:31:36] Speaker B: To be fair, Season two wasn't filled with all that much combat. [00:31:40] Speaker C: It wasn't. It wasn't. I'm realizing I've forgotten a lot of stuff. I'm gonna spend time googling it later. That's what I'm gonna do. I have one more action. I don't have the Wayfinder anymore because I gave it to the underground team. Is. Could I make a check to see like I don't know if. If I can find that. That, that mental disconnect again or like maybe how to. How to trigger that. Like is there something sure specific do I got a trauma dump in front of my very good friend and the woman that I met 10 hours ago. [00:32:31] Speaker B: Max is, you know, is related to the high priest. [00:32:37] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:32:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:38] Speaker C: Like casually. [00:32:40] Speaker B: Yeah, casually. I mean give me a. Do another perception check. [00:32:53] Speaker C: 24. [00:32:55] Speaker B: 24. You're. You're thinking about this. You're like looking and trying to see other than you know, what's obvious like is has anything changed? And it's just in a moment where he's looking up at you and he blinks and the sclera of his eyes have turned completely black for just a moment and then he blinks again. And it's normal. It's something mental. It is not anything physical. There is. You don't see the puppet strings just yet, but maybe you're starting to suspect something. [00:33:49] Speaker C: I say out loud there's something wrong with him mentally. Like I mean like, like I'm like I like this is not. This is really like not him like. [00:34:03] Speaker E: A spell like enchantment. [00:34:06] Speaker C: Maybe I don't know this. That's not my thing. His eyes aren't bright. [00:34:14] Speaker B: And that's the end of your turn. It is his turn. And he will spend his first action to. In one swift movement. Stand up. [00:34:27] Speaker C: Stand still. [00:34:29] Speaker B: Stand still. Which does. [00:34:36] Speaker C: It lets me do Attack of opportunity. [00:34:43] Speaker B: It uses a move action or square is using. [00:34:49] Speaker C: This one. I know we've Done. I've tripped and smacked people before. [00:34:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, you do. [00:34:58] Speaker C: Does this one also count to the multi attack penalty? [00:35:03] Speaker B: It's not your turn, so it does not. [00:35:06] Speaker C: Okay, 27 exact. [00:35:15] Speaker B: You'll hit, but not crit. So he'll still get up, but you'll deal that damage. [00:35:23] Speaker C: 15. As he gets up swiftly and I still kick him again. Like, right, Like, I, like I kick him. I kick him like on the chest. Maybe he, like, steps back a little bit, but he's able to get up. [00:35:39] Speaker B: Yeah. And as he's getting up, he says, I think for the first time in my life, I've never seen things clearer. And is going to come at you with several attacks, one with the rapier and one with another dagger for a 25. [00:36:06] Speaker C: 25, yeah. Won't hit. [00:36:09] Speaker B: Okay. And a 27. [00:36:15] Speaker C: That one will hit not crit or anything that just hits for 16 damage. [00:36:24] Speaker B: Yeah. And you know, as. As you're fighting and there are. There are a lot of moves that you're familiar with because you've trained together. There's also a lot of new moves that you've thrown in. And there is more and more. It's becoming clear that there is some sort of outside influence because there are a few times where it seems like he should not be able to move this fast or block certain things, and then suddenly it's, you know, his hand is there to block something and. And that'll be the end of the. His turn and bring us to the top of the round with Judith. [00:37:12] Speaker E: All right, I'm going to open up with a two action heal. I actually made a mistake earlier. These are fourth level heals. So I'm going to roll. I'm going to target grave wing with the. The two action. So that's 4010 plus. What's eight times four? 32. So Grave Wing, you get back 50 hit points. And because I have communal healing that is gonna give Alistair four more back. So the heels just bounce around the room. [00:37:58] Speaker C: Not to be disrespectful, because I appreciate our very scrappy healers who are all currently like 500ft beneath us. Man, I miss Groom. I miss this behavior so much. What do you fucking mean? What do you mean the heels bounce? What? [00:38:20] Speaker E: The heel, it bounces. I don't know. That's what. That's what it does. The heel bounces. [00:38:24] Speaker C: I know. I know what it does. Like, I know what it does. Like, I understand mechanically. But also we have two, like, healer's gloves or whatever that have seen literal and it's just there now. And that's what's touching our open wounds. We're getting septice, we're getting tetanus, we're getting all of it at that same time. [00:38:46] Speaker D: That's the only reason why you don't wipe with the healer's gloves. [00:38:52] Speaker E: Sorry, I don't understand why that was ever a thing that you needed to be told. [00:38:57] Speaker C: Last time. Last time, Miro healed me. He took his weapon, he touched his blood, which lights it like his blood can light on fire. And then he touched my open wound. What is that? What am I getting everything I. Or does it cancel each other out because it's on fire and like, yes, it worked, but like at the same time, like, that's wild. We're so scrappy with these. And then. [00:39:23] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I mean you don't actually. [00:39:25] Speaker C: Have an A cup and makes us drink it and we feel better. This is weird. [00:39:32] Speaker B: Magical healing in this campaign, more likely than you think. [00:39:38] Speaker C: It's. I know. And now we got this. It's just like my second. Just like effort. [00:39:47] Speaker A: Effortless. [00:39:48] Speaker E: It's my third action. Judith's just gonna like reach into the sleeve of her robe and when she pulls her hand out, she draws a full length glaive. [00:40:04] Speaker D: Where were you holding that? [00:40:08] Speaker E: Just like holds up a hand and like, just like waves her sleeve a little bit. [00:40:14] Speaker D: I thought I was a magician. [00:40:18] Speaker C: Clown car action. I see. Where's that meme? I'm a healer, but. [00:40:24] Speaker B: But like with a glaze gun. [00:40:27] Speaker E: That's what it's about to be. Cuz this man's save, save and throws are too good. [00:40:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Alistair, it is not your turn. [00:40:36] Speaker D: All right, so once again I see start out by, you know, considering my life choices. [00:40:46] Speaker B: Pretty good life choice. [00:40:50] Speaker D: Plus that is a pretty good life choice. [00:41:00] Speaker B: Alistair. I was right to drop out of school. [00:41:06] Speaker D: Graveling is up next. I apologies. I need to double check devise a stratagem to see it's. It's strike specifically. It's not all attack rolls, right? [00:41:25] Speaker B: Yes, I believe so. I mean I should know that. I played a investigator for three years. [00:41:34] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, so you said. Yeah, specifically a strike. All right. I was running calculations for a spell attack for a particular spell attack roll and I was like, wait, that's not going to work, will it? All right, so in instead what I will do. [00:42:00] Speaker B: Is. [00:42:02] Speaker D: Which does more double damage on critical hit. This is not a critical hit. Yeah, this is gonna do more damage. So I will pull out another arrow and this one looks kind of like an arrow, but like with a Talon on it as I Eldrich shot gouging claw. So there is my strike, which we already know will hit for a 32. [00:42:49] Speaker B: 32 will hit. [00:42:53] Speaker D: All right, so there's the strike damage of 17. And additionally we have. I'm gonna stick with the piercing. [00:43:20] Speaker C: So. [00:43:22] Speaker D: Oh, wow. That is an additional 14 piercing damage and 5 lead damage. Persistent. [00:43:37] Speaker B: That persistent damage going. [00:43:42] Speaker D: Should have done that last turn instead of doing fear since, you know, it keeps going persistently. By the way, if we need him alive, I do have a scroll of Cauteri's wounds. [00:43:57] Speaker C: I would like him alive, please. [00:44:04] Speaker B: Graveling, which is now your turn. [00:44:08] Speaker C: I say that out loud and what. What's he looking like right now? [00:44:19] Speaker B: He's still looking pretty good. [00:44:24] Speaker C: Okay. I'd like to spend, like my first action seeing if I can continue this. This. This breakout. Breakout is mental. Okay. Like, let's say some. I think is what might need to. To happen. We're on round three, like, officially, right? [00:44:53] Speaker B: Yes. You are almost at the end of round three. [00:44:56] Speaker C: Okay. [00:44:57] Speaker B: You said till round three. [00:44:59] Speaker C: I did, yeah. Before I get serious. All right, that's three. Three rounds. You still gonna keep up with this mess? [00:45:11] Speaker B: Just sort of gives you a small, like, just bring it on gesture. [00:45:14] Speaker C: All right. Don't be upset when I break your nose. Damn. That's Dad's nose, though. And I say all of that out loud. I think you. I think. Well, I just. Unfortunately not. Unfortunately. Maybe like 50. Unfortunately. Looks like our dad. Our late dad. Not the bones part. I mean, like when he had flesh, like, you know, casual. Did that do anything to him? [00:45:51] Speaker B: Give me. Do you have intimidation? [00:45:54] Speaker C: I should. Should I. I do. Yes. [00:46:00] Speaker B: Give me an intimidation roll. This one will be for free. [00:46:03] Speaker C: Oh, for free? [00:46:04] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:46:09] Speaker C: For free. It's 25. [00:46:11] Speaker B: 25. Unfortunately, that does not seem to get to him. [00:46:17] Speaker C: Stinky. All right. I'm basically gonna do the exact same thing I did last time, so gonna trip him. I'm gonna use a hero point because that was bad. 33. [00:46:34] Speaker B: 33. Okay. 33 is a success. Not a critical success. [00:46:40] Speaker C: Excuse me. But he stays. He's. He's on the floor again. Has not learned. [00:46:47] Speaker B: Did he ever learn? [00:46:49] Speaker C: No. That's why I'm beating. Okay, that's action one. Because you said intimidation was free. We're gonna. But I didn't. Stunning strike again. Last time I didn't do that. I need somebody just yell at me. [00:47:06] Speaker B: Stunning strike. [00:47:11] Speaker C: I didn't spell that right, but that's how I can see it. And remember to do it. Okay. Jesus Christ. So The Floria blows. First one is 25. That hit LA. That was the DC last time when he's. When he's tripped. Right. Thank you. And now this one, please and thank you. [00:47:40] Speaker B: Roll it. Fortitude save. [00:47:43] Speaker C: What is this? [00:47:49] Speaker B: That is a 23 versus your class DC. [00:47:55] Speaker C: Okay, I just got a 25 again for the last one. Never punished class DC. What you said, what was your role? [00:48:05] Speaker B: Fortitude. Saving throw for your stunning strike. [00:48:10] Speaker C: My DC's 23. [00:48:11] Speaker B: Yeah. So he succeeds. [00:48:14] Speaker C: I was like. I was like. He met it, right? [00:48:16] Speaker B: Yeah. Meets. Beats. [00:48:19] Speaker C: Meats. It beats it. Yeah. Okay. I still hit him twice, though, so that's always good. My damage. Damage, please. Total of 28 damage. Straight up pounding this time. This time I trip them a little bit differently. I. I do like. I kind of lunge in, do a fake out, kind of like knock him off balance with my foot, then do like a little roundhouse to get him in the face. And then the last punch is like one bop in the nose like I told him, and he's on his ass. [00:49:09] Speaker B: Yeah, that's all three actions. [00:49:14] Speaker C: I got one more. The fuck am I going to do for my last one? Could I, like, make a check on the area, like, in this office? Is there anything else here or anything here that looks suspicious or something like that? I've never been in here before, but sure. [00:49:37] Speaker B: Camina, do you have occultism? Do you have. [00:49:44] Speaker C: I'm not trained in it, but I like. I have the untrained. [00:49:48] Speaker B: Untrained. Improvisation. [00:49:49] Speaker C: Yeah. Thank you. [00:49:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Then, yeah, you can roll on that. See if you notice anything. [00:49:58] Speaker C: I don't think so. That's 16. [00:50:01] Speaker B: 16. If everything's happening far too fast for. For this. [00:50:12] Speaker C: Then I guess before my turn ends, it'll be like, last chance, Joshi. T. [00:50:23] Speaker B: Gives you a smile and spits some blood onto the floor. It's this Black Icarus substance. [00:50:34] Speaker C: Well, that's not right. [00:50:37] Speaker B: No, it certainly is not. And his turn. And with this, with quickly lashing out with a. A kick to your knee to attempt to trip you. [00:50:58] Speaker C: Did he get up to do this or is he tripping me While he's tripping? [00:51:01] Speaker B: While he's on the floor? [00:51:03] Speaker C: While he's on the floor. All right, so we are fighting like. Like siblings. All right, that's good to know. [00:51:08] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:51:10] Speaker C: It's against. This one's. Against my. [00:51:14] Speaker B: It is versus your. It is versus your reflex DC. [00:51:21] Speaker C: My reflex DC is 27. [00:51:24] Speaker B: He got a 35. You're going down from the GR. [00:51:27] Speaker C: From the ground. Okay. [00:51:29] Speaker D: Yep. [00:51:32] Speaker B: Well, watches. He. [00:51:34] Speaker C: What does he do just wrap me with his long ass legs. This rude. Okay. [00:51:39] Speaker B: He just sort of like does the. Just the kick to your knee from the side and your leg just kind of gives out your down. And then he will use the opportunity to stand up. [00:51:58] Speaker C: Can I not kick him while I'm prone? I don't know. I don't know. Can you still use standstill if you're prone? Oh, no. [00:52:10] Speaker E: I think you can. You just take a minus two. [00:52:15] Speaker C: It doesn't say anything about not being. [00:52:17] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You. You can. You just have a minus two to. To hit. [00:52:22] Speaker C: Okay, okay, I'll take it. I'll take it. We're. We're getting. We're getting childish here. But. And that's like a minus. [00:52:35] Speaker B: Oh, you have a minus two. Yeah. [00:52:36] Speaker C: Okay, but. [00:52:39] Speaker E: And also the plus one from Bless. [00:52:41] Speaker B: So only a minus one. [00:52:42] Speaker C: Oh, yes, yes. Yeah, I do. Bless would count for this too, then. Okay, then I guess 27. Does 27 still hit him while he's trying to get up? Because he's. Does he still have the prone thing? [00:52:59] Speaker B: Sound like a weird thing. But he will use his reaction to nibble. Dodge. [00:53:06] Speaker C: I'm on my back. I go to donkey kick him. [00:53:12] Speaker B: He just rolls backwards out of the way. [00:53:14] Speaker C: He has a small childhood memory of the windmill kick. That's. That's your. That's pure childhood. That's. That's pure. Ah. Dodge. This is ridiculous. This is lovely. [00:53:32] Speaker B: You can tell they're siblings. [00:53:36] Speaker C: We have not started hair pulling yet, which is also cheating in this case because he went and cut it like. [00:53:43] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. And yeah, no, it is his turn. And so first action to trip you, second action to stand, and then third action is seeing you. Judith is going to hit you with a throne dagger. That is nice. National 20 for 41. [00:54:16] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:54:20] Speaker B: The card is called vulnerable spot. You are off guard until healing. [00:54:25] Speaker C: That's no problem for her, though. That's no problem. [00:54:27] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:54:29] Speaker C: Okay. Oh, that could have been worse. [00:54:32] Speaker B: So it is 40 damage. [00:54:35] Speaker C: Jesus. [00:54:36] Speaker B: Dagger. [00:54:37] Speaker E: With a dagger. [00:54:38] Speaker B: And because there was a critical hit, you were stupefied one. [00:54:43] Speaker E: That's fine. That's fine. [00:54:47] Speaker B: Due to magical static. And then he will sort of put the point of his rapier right above your heart. Grave wing. And says, do you surrender? [00:55:11] Speaker C: I just. I too spit. I spit regular blood. I spit regular blood. Not at him, more like on the side and go, nah. [00:55:28] Speaker B: All right. And then from outside of the window, you hear the crack of a gunshot and you watch as from his shoulder blood erupts. More of a black Icarus blood. As Shuston has finally gotten into position and it's not a lot, but he will take some damage. And he stands above you and looks at the rest of you and smiles an almost feral smile. He is completely lost in this moment. And we'll pick this battle up here next time. And I guess, would you like to take us out? [00:56:36] Speaker D: Oh, before we. Persistent bleed. [00:56:39] Speaker B: Resistant bleed. Yes. Let me end his turn. So he takes leave. There we go. Yep, he takes that five assistant bleeds. He succeeds on his recovery check. Okay. [00:56:53] Speaker D: Sorry to ruin the moment. Just don't want us to forget that. [00:56:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:56:59] Speaker C: He looks feral. Cost a little bit. Just a tiny little bit of blood. [00:57:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Doc, you would you like to take us out? [00:57:08] Speaker C: If you liked the ass whooping you have been listening to today on the. I don't know. Follow us. On all of our socials, we mainly use blue sky, but we are goblets and gays basically everywhere. Except for Twitch, where GNG streams over there. Because Twitch is scared of the word gay. But I too would be scared of gays if this is what they do on a regular basis. Join us on our discord. We have a community discord. All we do is yap. Sometimes we yap about TCGs as well. I personally have that channel muted, but I know it's active because every now and then I get tagged in the Digimon tcg. And. And that. It's always. Honestly, that's always very nice. It's very fun. Thank you for tagging me. And we have a Patreon. So, like, give us money. Right now. We are recording. And it's like pride. I'm gay. I could use a few dollars. So, you know, just, just, just, Just a couple dollars here, please. [00:58:19] Speaker B: And merch. [00:58:20] Speaker C: And merch. Yes, and merch. We have merch now. We plan to add more designs in the future. As of now, we've got like three pretty base designs. One of them is corporate gay. And for some reason, that's the one everybody wanted. Like, don't be mad. I guess I just literally based the logo off of fucking Target. But, like, sure, okay. And yeah, that's it. Six, five years. So. [00:59:08] Speaker A: He is reaching out consuming darker veils with my heart keeps on beating Take my head and we must face it again. [01:00:42] Speaker C: It.
