[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sam. [00:00:43] Speaker A: Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find meaning hold my hand let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all the these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming. [00:01:31] Speaker B: Welcome back to Goblin's Gaze. I'm Aubrey, your gm. I'll tell Servo my players introduce themselves, who they are, who they're playing, and we'll get rolled into things. [00:01:40] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Aki and I play the vigilante Gravewing, who is a Nagaji sylph, monk and kineticist. We both use she her pronouns. [00:01:52] Speaker A: Hello, I am Faris she her and I play aloha tvere. Also she her a bardic thaumaturge beast kin doing her best while juggling a family curse, falling in love, and of course, the end of the world. [00:02:05] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Dusty. I use they he pronouns. Name playing Eu. [00:02:11] Speaker D: Formerly Moran, still a problem, just angrier now they are blood hunter Nephilim problem. Just. [00:02:23] Speaker D: Just trying to fix things, even though it's all bad. They also use they he pronouns. [00:02:31] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Sparlock and I play Alistair Whiskerfield, the great rat detective, arcane archer and wizard extraordinaire, the revolutionary firebrand, sworn enemy to the Scriabins and scourge of the bourgeoisie and master of Nicodemus Tower. We both use he him pronouns. [00:02:53] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Tick. I use he, she, they pronouns. And today I'll be playing Niall, who uses he they pronouns. He cooks, he cleans, he eats people, and has an alien parasite living in his spine, slowly consuming him. What more could you ask for? [00:03:06] Speaker G: Hi, I'm Alyssa. My pronouns are they, them, and I play Laith Idrisi, the fourth Dampier Dandy, rogue, failed matricide with a minus one constitution modifier. Leith uses she any pronouns. [00:03:21] Speaker B: So what happened last time? [00:03:24] Speaker F: So last time was honestly the recap episode to end all recap episodes, mostly for each other. We filled each other in on what happened, both in the hole and outside of the hole. We got a whole lore drop like, holy shit, you guys gotta listen to it because I'm not recapping literally everything. Thumbs up emoji. But we back and forth explained the gist of things and dusty, stop shaking your head. I can see you. [00:03:50] Speaker F: But once we finish up, we had a few conversations specifically making sure Bird guy was not like, you know, cringe mothmom, got to talk to Whiskey Jack. [00:03:58] Speaker A: For a little bit. [00:03:59] Speaker F: Was like, hey buddy, I kind of like you. I'm Gonna give you some secrets and also get some more info as a treat. And honestly, we got to do a nice bit of back and forth, putting the party back together into one piece. One piece. The one piece is real. Anyways, before I go on a tangent and get kicked out, let's roll it back to Aubrey for the rest of this session. [00:04:20] Speaker B: Yeah, A. You all sort of rested up the last of the week. You had a very, very busy week. And we roll into the. The first week of hen. The ninth month of the year. [00:04:36] Speaker B: Also the. The first of. He's also the first of. [00:04:45] Speaker B: Yes, but it is the first day of one. As the temperatures get colder, My fantasy calendar is telling me 4 degrees Celsius. [00:05:00] Speaker G: More important question is, how long is it until Alouette's birthday? [00:05:13] Speaker A: 14 days. No, another month. It's not during heaven. It's the next month's month. It's next month, I think, because it's a solstice, and I don't recall heaven being the right month. [00:05:25] Speaker A: I don't remember the month off the top of my head, but I know it's not heaven. [00:05:28] Speaker B: I'm staring at the calendar right now. It is next month. Yeah. [00:05:33] Speaker G: Good to know. [00:05:34] Speaker D: Oh, dear, oh, dear. [00:05:38] Speaker A: My family that lied to me about everything surely didn't lie about this. [00:05:43] Speaker B: She didn't lie about your birthday. [00:05:49] Speaker B: So, yeah, it's the first rebellion action we've done in a while. [00:05:58] Speaker B: It's. [00:06:01] Speaker B: Things certainly have progressed since you lasted one of these. [00:06:09] Speaker B: So you have many options out in front of you, and you have your actions. [00:06:17] Speaker B: What would you like to start with? [00:06:22] Speaker B: So you have your options. You've got information, money, supplies. Set something up. Recruit or reduce threat. [00:06:34] Speaker B: Yeah, your. [00:06:38] Speaker B: Your threat is up to a. A 40. [00:06:45] Speaker F: Gee, Aubrey, why don't we get a third inquisition on the board? [00:06:51] Speaker B: We've had first and second inquisition. [00:06:52] Speaker D: What about inquisition? [00:06:55] Speaker F: We're gonna start collecting them like the Infinity Stones, and we get five inquisitions, but snap the priests. [00:07:03] Speaker F: Anyways. Firstly, I heard that we're kind of short on people. [00:07:09] Speaker D: Yeah, I think recruitment is. Yeah, I think that's a good call. [00:07:16] Speaker F: I think one for recruitment, one for lowering our risk, and another one for something else would be a good idea. [00:07:21] Speaker G: I mean, is there anything to do to set up for taking back the room? [00:07:28] Speaker F: I misheard you. Did you say taking bath row? [00:07:32] Speaker G: Taking back salvation row. [00:07:35] Speaker F: Okay, that makes so much more sense. I was like, yeah, you can have a bathroom if you want. [00:07:40] Speaker A: I was like, we need to spend a rebellion rule on that. [00:07:44] Speaker F: We need to spend a rebellion rule. I'M getting you a bathrobe. Honestly, if I can just see la scantly dress. No. If I get to see Lace scantily dressed in a bathrobe slipping off her shoulders, I think it's worth a rebellion phase action. [00:07:56] Speaker A: Why do you get. [00:07:58] Speaker F: Because I suggest, you know what do you all want to crowd around her and she posed. [00:08:02] Speaker A: Actually she. [00:08:05] Speaker F: Maybe gathering information about salvation 0 would. [00:08:07] Speaker A: Be a good idea. You're right. [00:08:08] Speaker F: Bathrobes aside. [00:08:11] Speaker G: Yeah. I don't know if that's like an information or there's also a specific like set something up action, but I don't know what that would be because I don't interact with poor people. [00:08:21] Speaker C: There is a set something up interaction. It's a mission type you like. [00:08:28] Speaker A: Do we like. [00:08:29] Speaker E: The rules are right there. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Do we need more information before we can set something up? Like we have to be specific about what we set up. [00:08:36] Speaker B: Right. [00:08:36] Speaker A: Last time we had to tell Aubrey what we wanted set up. [00:08:40] Speaker B: So it is very much I need to know what you want to set up. It's not just set up something. You probably need information. [00:08:46] Speaker C: Information might be. Yeah, information might be better. And then the next week we can do setup probably. [00:08:54] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:00] Speaker B: Is there a particular thing you want information on? Do you want information on the man himself? Do you want information on. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Any like movements or what he's been doing in the room? [00:09:15] Speaker C: Hey, I. I would suggest movement in the row because if you need information on the man himself, you can actually ask Lorelaia Graveling. That is a guy that we have some beef with, some long history with. So that is information. [00:09:36] Speaker C: Like. Yeah, it's. It's actually generational now because children were born. So yeah, the, the. We have in terms of information on the guy, we do have a history, but what he's doing right now we definitely do not. I think the mole problem is the main reason why we don't I think. [00:10:00] Speaker A: Does that impact our invert at all? Sorry, I was kind of yawning to that. Does the fact that we have a mole impact the information that we get back at all? [00:10:13] Speaker A: Even if we roll well, is it trustworthy out of like above table? [00:10:19] Speaker B: I mean you could send it a not bloody blades squad to do it. [00:10:26] Speaker B: If you're worried about the bloody blades. [00:10:28] Speaker A: I. I mean I don't know how it start the. Well started in the bloody blades, but we don't know how far they've spread. You know. [00:10:38] Speaker E: True. [00:10:40] Speaker E: Moles are like zombies. They bite each other to start spying. [00:10:45] Speaker C: Oh, in theory we could set something up to. To catch him. [00:10:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:50] Speaker E: Sounded dirtier than I meant it. [00:10:53] Speaker C: Yeah, it did. Dirty. [00:10:57] Speaker F: I had a bit of a thought. I'm not sure how it would translate, but I remember something I read that could be pretty useful. Basically someone gave a pro life tip that you know, whenever you sign up for something and it gives your like email to a bunch of spam websites. What some people say is hey, you set your last name not as your last name but what you're signing up for. Like let's say if you're signing up for Amazon, your name is like for my name it'll be tick out Amazon. Because then when they email you with your full name and say hi, take out Amazon, it's like look at these deals. So it's like you know who sold the information because you put in a specific last name that is relevant to them. So theoretically if we coded like here's some, here's a fake thing and then give like a bunch of people different in quotation marks, passwords or like little indicators, we can tell who leaked the info. Because if we have like a bunch of different code numbers and they're like I'm using this code number to get in, it's like ah, that's the code number. We told Benny Bob, the guy himself who helps restock the kitchen and mop the floors. I guess he was tired of doing that. [00:11:52] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I think. [00:11:53] Speaker G: Did the above ground team already start that? [00:11:58] Speaker C: Yeah, we did but that's. [00:12:01] Speaker C: So far like nothing's really come out of it per se. So I don't know if we could use. [00:12:09] Speaker C: If we should be using the like one of our rebellion actions for this. [00:12:14] Speaker F: Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, that was just a thought that. [00:12:16] Speaker C: I was like I don't know how this mole fully. It's a good thought. Yeah, it's more like I personally the player. I don't know how the mole affects us and where we should be doing things because we have not touch this mole technically. Besides saying that we have sent out, it has also been the same week though. [00:12:35] Speaker E: That's a question for Aubrey. [00:12:36] Speaker B: I think, I think, I think in the end you know that the, the mole has something to do with the blades because it's blades locations and patrols that are being sold out. [00:12:52] Speaker A: So catching the mole sooner than later will strengthen the bloody blades. So I think putting some effort into that now is, is a good use of our time because the stronger the bloody blades are, the stronger we are. And also salvation row is their, like their row. So if we can get both of those things taken care of we can get the bloody blankets back on track. Yeah. [00:13:23] Speaker A: If we really want to, like, nail things down, we could try to clear them all out, recruit more people to the Bloody Blades and also clear out the row. Not clear out the row. [00:13:35] Speaker B: What's the reduce threat? [00:13:38] Speaker A: No. [00:13:41] Speaker F: What? [00:13:41] Speaker A: There's a word there. Reclaim, I guess. [00:13:44] Speaker B: The. [00:13:45] Speaker A: The rope. But that's not the word I want. But we're gonna go with it. Which isn't. Which is not, I realize, a rebellion rule. That's not the third rebellion rule suggestion. That's just order of operations. Yes. [00:13:59] Speaker A: A broader. A broader plan. [00:14:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:05] Speaker B: I mean, you could work with the Lorelei to create some sort of trap for your setting something up, which would be to. [00:14:17] Speaker B: You know, try to trap the mole. [00:14:22] Speaker A: My vote is we spend a roll on information on Johnny Rotten, like what Johnny Rotten's been up to. [00:14:34] Speaker A: We set something up in terms of ousting the mole, and then we recruit as our third. [00:14:42] Speaker A: Thing to sort of bolster our decimated ranks. [00:14:46] Speaker G: Yeah, that makes sense to me. I don't know that it's worth trying to improve our threat at this point. [00:14:53] Speaker A: Yeah, that's. [00:14:55] Speaker A: Eventually worthwhile. [00:14:57] Speaker C: Yeah. I was like, respectfully, we're not doing anything super public just yet. I feel like we should be okay for that. [00:15:06] Speaker A: I think we're kind of in a middle ground for our threats anyway. What tab is our threat level on? [00:15:16] Speaker F: I mean, what's a third inquisition? Am I right, gamers? [00:15:19] Speaker A: Well, we already have an inquisition. It's not going to go away if our. If our threat suddenly goes down to zero. We'll still have the inquisition. We've already established we can't have multiple inquisitions because otherwise we'd already have two. [00:15:33] Speaker A: From the same day. So, like, at this point, I think it's worth sitting at the threat level we're at dealing with what we have, and just. We can. Once we nail down some of our immediate problems, then sure, we can ram down that reduced threat, but I think this week it's not a priority. [00:15:53] Speaker D: Maybe we just double recruit. [00:15:56] Speaker A: No, we have three things. [00:15:58] Speaker D: Oh, okay. [00:15:58] Speaker A: Do you dislike one of those three things? [00:16:00] Speaker D: No, I disassociate it. [00:16:03] Speaker A: No, that's fine. I just. I was like. I mean, if you have an issue with one of them, by all means. But I. [00:16:10] Speaker D: This is for the podcast. Yeah, that sounds great. [00:16:21] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. [00:16:22] Speaker B: Who wants to roll for the first thing? [00:16:26] Speaker A: Absolutely not. [00:16:28] Speaker E: What's the order? I've been waiting to roll for my recruitment. [00:16:34] Speaker A: Oh, we can. Well, I feel like we should get rid of them all before we recruit. You know what I mean? [00:16:38] Speaker E: Well, I mean, don't they happen simultaneous? [00:16:42] Speaker B: They happen over the course of the week, essentially. [00:16:44] Speaker A: Yeah, we do. Any moles? New recruits can't possibly be the mole. They could be a different mole, but they can't be the current mole. Yeah. [00:16:54] Speaker E: Exactly. So here's my roll for a new mole. [00:17:00] Speaker A: The rat. Summoning a mole. [00:17:02] Speaker E: Natural 20 for a 39. [00:17:07] Speaker B: So. [00:17:07] Speaker E: So that means, like, not only do we have a new mole, we have like, literally, James Bond. [00:17:13] Speaker A: Oh, it's our mole. [00:17:15] Speaker F: Yeah, we have a mole on our side. [00:17:16] Speaker A: Now can they be a mole person? I think that would be hilarious. [00:17:21] Speaker B: Maybe. But for a critical success, you do gain 1 Lt. And 2d6 followers. [00:17:31] Speaker A: Is it and. Or. Or. [00:17:35] Speaker B: It is. Is it. [00:17:37] Speaker A: It's written in the. In the document. It's written as or, but. And makes more sense. [00:17:43] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it's. And so. Yeah, I think it is. [00:17:46] Speaker D: Yeah, it's a crit. That's a 39. [00:17:48] Speaker A: Considering a fail has an and in it, I feel like a crit. [00:17:52] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it is an ant. I think it's just. Yeah. So a one lieutenant and two D6 followers. [00:17:59] Speaker E: Eight. [00:18:01] Speaker B: New followers. [00:18:03] Speaker E: Just over average. [00:18:07] Speaker F: Well, I'm sure it's got a great personality. [00:18:09] Speaker B: Yeah, you're sitting around 40 followers. [00:18:13] Speaker D: New lieutenant. [00:18:15] Speaker B: New lieutenant. Let's see. Let's. [00:18:21] Speaker B: Look through my notes real quick. [00:18:26] Speaker A: Happy. [00:18:29] Speaker A: It'S. [00:18:29] Speaker B: It's actually would not be Victoria because, you know, you would get him to just story stuff other than rolling for it. [00:18:37] Speaker B: But. [00:18:40] Speaker B: You get. Let's see. [00:18:44] Speaker F: You have the chance to do so many funny things right now. [00:18:46] Speaker A: Aubrey. [00:18:49] Speaker G: Please make it Yuri's exact. [00:18:54] Speaker B: Hey, Yuri. Rolling that table for me. [00:18:59] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:19:00] Speaker F: Thank you. [00:19:01] Speaker B: I was like, looking. This doesn't work. And then you were like, Yuri's ex. I was like, oh, let's roll at the table. [00:19:05] Speaker A: Let's see what happens. [00:19:07] Speaker D: All right, let me open it. One second, please. [00:19:13] Speaker D: I for some reason didn't open it. [00:19:15] Speaker B: So for some reason. [00:19:18] Speaker B: I was hoping. [00:19:19] Speaker D: Even though I'm gonna, like, send a message to an ex in a little bit. But that's related. [00:19:23] Speaker A: Which one? [00:19:25] Speaker D: You'll see. All right. There are a couple spots open for other player makes. I'm just gonna say that right now. If you really. Okay, I'm just gonna roll. [00:19:40] Speaker C: I'm back. [00:19:47] Speaker C: God damn. [00:19:48] Speaker A: Whom we don't know yet. [00:19:50] Speaker B: We're all to figure out. [00:19:51] Speaker C: Crazy. [00:19:52] Speaker A: Did you get. Is it Utrom? [00:19:55] Speaker D: No. We have a Tengu cardomancer joining us. Their name is Edric. They. [00:20:03] Speaker C: Them. [00:20:07] Speaker D: They really love Harrow cards. [00:20:11] Speaker E: Did you say a carnomancer? [00:20:13] Speaker B: Like they cartomancer? [00:20:20] Speaker C: You know, you know, you know, you know. I don't want to be the one to say it, but also I do. [00:20:28] Speaker C: Very similar to your cousin. [00:20:31] Speaker C: Like, that's. That's. [00:20:34] Speaker D: This was six years ago before your. [00:20:37] Speaker A: Cousin was like that. So your cousin has become like your ex. [00:20:39] Speaker C: I would like this. I like to think that's the main reason. Reason why y' all broke up. Like. Okay, wait a minute. [00:20:45] Speaker D: No, this was six years ago. This was before Lou was into cartomancy. [00:20:50] Speaker A: I like to think that the moment they become our lieutenant is the moment you see the similarities and like, black out a little bit. [00:20:58] Speaker D: I. I'm hoping maybe I don't see them for a day or two. Who knows? I'm just gonna put this in our chat and I'll let you. You all understand why they are very mysterious, charming, and will read you the filth Aubry. So take that as you will. [00:21:20] Speaker B: Yeah, that is your first one. So you are also going to. You've got your recruiting done and so you. We're gonna do information and setting something up. So who would like to roll for those? [00:21:33] Speaker G: I can do information, I suppose. [00:21:38] Speaker B: Society or survival? [00:21:41] Speaker G: Society, obviously. [00:21:43] Speaker B: Obviously. [00:21:47] Speaker G: Oof. I will use a hero point. [00:21:55] Speaker G: Okay, that's a little better. 26. [00:22:00] Speaker B: 26 is a success. [00:22:04] Speaker B: So, yeah, you will learn that. [00:22:07] Speaker B: That good old Mr. Rotten has taken up a residence in the. The Silver Fox. The. The brothel that's there. Has kind of made it his. His home base, for lack of a better term. Everything is operating out of there. And Gray Wing, you would know that. Very true to form. That's. He used to run the Silver ago. [00:22:34] Speaker C: My ex work there. No. [00:22:36] Speaker B: Yes. [00:22:37] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:22:44] Speaker B: It's. It's very much. He's. He seems to have reclaimed his. His place there. He has his lieutenants sort of moving out and around. And as far as you can tell, he doesn't leave the Fox very often. Mostly it's just. [00:23:02] Speaker B: The parties that ever seem to end the debauchery. [00:23:07] Speaker G: Sorry, was he like, incarcerated before he became a blade or what was his deal? [00:23:15] Speaker A: No, he wasn't. [00:23:16] Speaker B: He wasn't incarcerated. I mean, Craving was pretty sure that she had killed him, but. [00:23:24] Speaker B: He was away. [00:23:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:28] Speaker G: Fascinating. [00:23:29] Speaker A: Cool. [00:23:32] Speaker B: Pretty sure Gray Wing might have theories about where he. Where he went. Knowing things that Gray Wing knows. [00:23:38] Speaker A: I do. I don't. [00:23:42] Speaker A: I'm sorry. [00:23:43] Speaker C: I'm. I'm having a hard time focusing a little bit here. [00:23:48] Speaker B: You're good. Yeah. [00:23:50] Speaker C: Well, which ones? I'm thinking of a lot Of Ones. [00:23:52] Speaker B: Now, you. You know that he's aware. Rat. [00:23:56] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. I know. [00:23:58] Speaker B: Okay. [00:23:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. [00:24:02] Speaker C: Are we talking in character now? Are we not? [00:24:04] Speaker A: This is about Johnny Rotten, right? [00:24:05] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:24:06] Speaker C: Yes. [00:24:06] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:07] Speaker C: He's a wear. [00:24:07] Speaker A: Rat. [00:24:12] Speaker B: I mean, you can totally talk in character if you've gotten this information. Yeah. [00:24:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:24:19] Speaker C: So Johnny Rodan ran the Row for a very long time. [00:24:26] Speaker C: Up until we. I look at Lorelei. Killed him. Was the whole thing. Row was a lot more danger. It his rule kind of spread from the row to Coffin Walk. It was pretty bad. [00:24:44] Speaker C: He's a Were rat. He's literally poisonous because he's so dirty. Just like. [00:24:54] Speaker C: Look, if he was gonna be anywhere, it would have to be like, in the sewers or something like that. That's the only thing that made sense. But I. I killed him. [00:25:06] Speaker G: I hate to point out that he seems to be very much back. [00:25:10] Speaker C: Yeah, no. Yep. But. [00:25:16] Speaker C: He'S got a lot of. [00:25:19] Speaker C: Cadence. [00:25:23] Speaker C: Like he. Like. [00:25:28] Speaker C: Like stage presence. [00:25:32] Speaker C: I guess. And I don't know if this. If he still has that. I don't know if he's undead is what I'm trying to say. [00:25:42] Speaker G: I'm sorry. [00:25:43] Speaker F: Above table. [00:25:43] Speaker G: It sounded to me like you said he has a lot of kids, but I think that that can be. [00:25:47] Speaker C: What? [00:25:47] Speaker A: You. [00:25:48] Speaker G: Okay? [00:25:49] Speaker A: I also heard kids. [00:25:51] Speaker C: No, no, my bad. Cadence. [00:25:53] Speaker A: Cadence. [00:25:54] Speaker G: Cadence. [00:25:55] Speaker C: He's. Johnny. Used to have his fingers on a lot of things. [00:26:01] Speaker E: That's how he ended up with a lot of kids. [00:26:05] Speaker C: Alistair. Alistair. I swear to God. [00:26:10] Speaker C: All of them. Oh, my God. [00:26:13] Speaker C: No. He probably has a few bastards, honestly, but. Brothels, pit fights. [00:26:21] Speaker C: General murders, extortion, you name it. Drugs. So much drug pulling, it took a very long time to get Coffin Walk as clean as it is. [00:26:32] Speaker A: It's not. [00:26:33] Speaker C: Still not that clean, but you get the gist of it. [00:26:39] Speaker C: That dude is poison. Also, I used to do pit fighting for him. It was money. [00:26:49] Speaker C: It wasn't even that good money when I think about it. [00:26:52] Speaker A: But is there anyone else on the list of the blades who we. Who you specifically know was dead and isn't dead now? Because that's two already. [00:27:08] Speaker C: Three if we count the Idrisi. [00:27:14] Speaker A: Maybe they're all like that. [00:27:17] Speaker C: Aubrey. [00:27:21] Speaker C: Aubrey. Dwell on everybody. Let us make rolls. [00:27:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:30] Speaker B: Occultism rules. [00:27:31] Speaker C: I got that. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Do that. [00:27:35] Speaker G: Not like a gossip lore about how people have. What, you're dead? [00:27:43] Speaker C: Not trained in occultism. [00:27:48] Speaker C: These people keep coming back up. I don't understand. [00:27:52] Speaker A: Okay, I did spend a hero point because I was not gonna let. It wasn't bad. I just wasn't gonna Let it slide. So that's gonna be a natural 19 with a master in occultism, which is gonna give me a 36. [00:28:10] Speaker B: I mean, you know, the Titan seems to have some strange abilities to, you know, control people and indoctrinate. Who knows what that does to. What if someone takes the Tyrant Steel Wind? You know, they're dying. [00:28:28] Speaker B: What happens? And. [00:28:31] Speaker B: You don't want to think about it, but gestures at. Niall. [00:28:39] Speaker A: Wait, what? [00:28:39] Speaker F: Why am I being gestured at? We don't know about that yet. [00:28:42] Speaker A: I didn't accept. [00:28:45] Speaker B: Anything. But you were bonded with an alien parasite from the Titan's dimension. [00:28:51] Speaker F: I'm sorry. My brain deleted what you just said something. Please repeat what you just said. [00:28:55] Speaker B: I'm sorry, you were bonded? [00:28:57] Speaker F: No, before that. [00:28:58] Speaker B: Yeah, it was discussing ways that people might have survived things that they shouldn't have. [00:29:06] Speaker F: Okay, that's fair. Wow. My brain was, like Aubrey said, something important. We're putting that in the trash real quick. I'm putting jet to holiday on. My bad. Thank you. [00:29:16] Speaker C: Nothing beats the Gen 2 holiday. [00:29:20] Speaker A: I'm gonna type what I. Canadian thing. No, it's a meme. [00:29:25] Speaker C: It's a meme. It's a meme. [00:29:26] Speaker D: TikTok. [00:29:27] Speaker A: I keep seeing it referenced and have no clue what's going on. [00:29:32] Speaker D: I'll send you one. [00:29:39] Speaker B: But yes, that is. That is a possibility. Whatever the Titan is doing, something like. [00:29:47] Speaker B: Schism can't be the only one of his kind. [00:29:54] Speaker A: Could be. [00:29:59] Speaker A: So, yeah, maybe they are potentially all returned to life. [00:30:11] Speaker A: It would be good if we can confirm if they have all died, then we will know for sure. But I think it is very likely that they are. [00:30:22] Speaker A: Really pulling it in with the tyrant. [00:30:28] Speaker A: And also that means we don't know how easy they are to kill or otherwise get rid of. The second time. [00:30:42] Speaker A: We have not successfully done that. [00:30:45] Speaker G: Significantly harder if my mother is anything to go by. [00:30:52] Speaker A: So maybe we should think about a different option than murder. [00:31:00] Speaker A: Especially if they do not stay dead. [00:31:05] Speaker A: Very much. [00:31:07] Speaker A: Oh, for. All right, now. [00:31:12] Speaker D: Isn't that, like, comes back? [00:31:15] Speaker C: Then we really would be 0 for O. [00:31:21] Speaker D: Well, no, I'll shut up. [00:31:27] Speaker D: You think Judith could help? [00:31:29] Speaker D: You know, cleric draw on dead Judith. Oh. [00:31:38] Speaker C: That'S true. Potentially. Judith is helping reverse whatever the indoctrination is. I take some time, though. But maybe we should look into actually recruiting holy people. Like, actual holy people? [00:31:56] Speaker D: Yeah. I mean, I. [00:31:58] Speaker D: Dealt with undead just generally before, so, like, it's hard, but if you get the right tools. But having a cleric or a holy person would definitely help a lot. [00:32:12] Speaker G: Do you think that if you reversed Indoctrination on someone who was only around because of the tyrant. They would fall again. [00:32:23] Speaker E: Or they just die. [00:32:25] Speaker C: Yeah, it's gotta at least make it easier to kill him. [00:32:31] Speaker C: You know, actually, I didn't get a chance to. I didn't let it happen. But at some point when I was fighting my brother. [00:32:44] Speaker C: This. [00:32:49] Speaker C: Goo fell out of him. [00:32:54] Speaker D: You. I put goo. [00:32:57] Speaker E: I. Aubrey. [00:33:00] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:33:02] Speaker E: Would this be the type of question that undead or. [00:33:08] Speaker E: Just throwing out Elbore would help with? [00:33:17] Speaker E: Because I've really been studying up undead. [00:33:20] Speaker B: More than ELD because funny enough, despite how horrifying the ELD are, they're very natural to this world. [00:33:27] Speaker E: Just while we're having this conversation, I'll throw a blind roll your way to see if I have anything to add. [00:33:36] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:33:39] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:33:41] Speaker C: I don't really know what it was because I cannot stress enough. I. [00:33:47] Speaker C: Was forming. I think it was trying to form, but I. [00:33:52] Speaker C: Beat the out of him. So it just dropped like. Like liquid, like blood. I thought it was like black blood or something like that. I mean, he had his veins, his eyes. [00:34:13] Speaker C: I really don't know what it. What it was. I didn't give it a chance. [00:34:18] Speaker C: To do anything. [00:34:21] Speaker F: Can I phone a friend? [00:34:24] Speaker B: Who's the friend? [00:34:26] Speaker F: This sounds like a Schism question of like, hey, you're healer in this shirt, right. [00:34:33] Speaker A: Buddy? [00:34:38] Speaker B: What is the question exactly? [00:34:40] Speaker F: Does this goop seem familiar to you with the description that Grave Wing has given? And do you have any idea about any details you can give us about it? [00:34:50] Speaker B: Please, babe. [00:34:58] Speaker B: You hear the. Hear the voice saying it could have something to do with. [00:35:05] Speaker B: What the tyrant does? Yes. [00:35:09] Speaker F: Does the tyrant put some sort of goop into people to control their minds? Like an infection? Like you, but not like you? [00:35:18] Speaker B: Yes, but no. But yes, but no. But yes. [00:35:24] Speaker F: What's the no part of it? What's different? [00:35:28] Speaker B: Not everyone is gonna be. [00:35:32] Speaker B: You see, there's like. There's like two versions of me. There's like the version that has sentience and the version that's just a parasite. [00:35:46] Speaker F: I see, so they're like mindless parasites controlling to do a certain directive that if you don't quite have the willpower to face, you won't be able to deal with. [00:35:57] Speaker A: Hmm. [00:35:58] Speaker B: Kinda. Yeah. [00:36:00] Speaker F: Okay, I'm gonna relay the information that Schism gave to. At least it's like a little bit of an add on to like confirm a few things that we didn't quite know. And I'll just end it with I asked Schism. It seemed very familiar. Gestures to self. [00:36:18] Speaker E: Yeah, well, they're sharing that. [00:36:22] Speaker E: Has my studies in the undead come across anything that. [00:36:29] Speaker E: Basically the same question. [00:36:31] Speaker B: I mean it's. [00:36:36] Speaker B: It could be undef but sometimes with undeath Quite often with undeath they're left mindless creatures. [00:36:47] Speaker B: Unless the magic is really powerful. [00:36:53] Speaker B: If it's really powerful magic bringing them back but if it's A lot of times when someone something's brought back through undeath it's mindless. Unless you're talking like vampires or something like that. Something very high level. [00:37:10] Speaker E: I will share this musing with the group that's kind of weird how intelligent they are for undead. [00:37:20] Speaker E: So either really. [00:37:21] Speaker B: Don'T know two members of the Holy Blood or Don Fear. [00:37:29] Speaker E: All undead are incredibly stupid. [00:37:34] Speaker F: I agree for no specific reason in particular looks up late. This is out of character. [00:37:44] Speaker E: But yeah yeah. [00:37:49] Speaker G: I mean. [00:37:52] Speaker G: I haven't interacted much with. [00:37:54] Speaker A: The others. [00:37:57] Speaker G: But. [00:38:00] Speaker G: For my mother at least I wouldn't be surprised if it was less. [00:38:05] Speaker G: Her intelligence and more simply being puppeted by something else. [00:38:14] Speaker E: I could see that some sort of necromancy. [00:38:19] Speaker G: Which doesn't mean that the power controlling them is any less. [00:38:23] Speaker G: Powerful. [00:38:30] Speaker E: Just means that they could have more thralls. [00:38:35] Speaker A: And that speaks more to. [00:38:42] Speaker A: It being not a true resurrection. [00:38:48] Speaker A: They have not been stolen from death back into life. They are simply bodies inhabited by something else. [00:39:00] Speaker A: Potentially. [00:39:04] Speaker B: Might be worth worth studying in the future. But you still have one last action to take. Who would like to roll to set up whatever this trap may be? [00:39:20] Speaker A: What's the role again? [00:39:22] Speaker B: Yeah, what is your. [00:39:25] Speaker A: Oh it goes off of your thing. [00:39:26] Speaker B: Right. So diplomacy or deception? [00:39:32] Speaker A: I have both those things. I don't know if someone has it better. I'm just trained. [00:39:44] Speaker C: I think it might be you or maybe Leif potentially. [00:39:51] Speaker C: That's true the information. Yeah I was like I'm only trained too but I think your charisma is higher it. [00:39:58] Speaker A: I would hope so. [00:40:00] Speaker A: Because of my class. [00:40:04] Speaker A: That will do. We don't know like DC for these things it's doing. [00:40:12] Speaker B: It's your standard DC by level. So at level late it is 24. [00:40:19] Speaker A: Ah that's a success then I'll keep it. I won't try again. I got 27. [00:40:24] Speaker B: 27? [00:40:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:40:25] Speaker B: I won't critfish so you can. [00:40:31] Speaker B: We can figure out the exact details of this plan at a later time. But you work with Lorelei and honestly probably someone from one of the other factions that you are have contacts in because they're less likely to be the mole to set up something later in the week. [00:40:55] Speaker B: Try to get the mole to play their hand. [00:40:59] Speaker B: Just quick bookkeeping. [00:41:01] Speaker A: Do we Is Edric attached to any particular location and does Edric give us any bonuses of any kind? [00:41:08] Speaker B: Let's see eject will give you. [00:41:12] Speaker B: You can put put eject in any any location that you you have the ability to so that. That is it and for for bonus they will do. [00:41:30] Speaker B: Society roles. [00:41:35] Speaker B: Cool cartomancer gets all the. [00:41:37] Speaker A: Good gossip I I figured it was gonna be a charisma based one. [00:41:43] Speaker A: We. [00:41:43] Speaker D: Should station them not where Yuri is. [00:41:48] Speaker G: That'S we should station them in the. [00:41:50] Speaker B: Manor. [00:41:53] Speaker A: There'S the old there's the old Harrow shop in the in that district what if and those people as far as we know left the city like it did not say like they it did not sound like they were sticking around so someone's gotta hold down the fort until they return. [00:42:12] Speaker A: So it's a good place to get gossip. [00:42:17] Speaker B: So it is the beginning of the first week and our first week of heaven and there's many things to do it will be a little later in the week when you can try and capture the mole I don't know if you want to capture them all before you attempt to deal with Johnny but it would certainly might make it easier yeah absolutely. [00:42:39] Speaker A: Capture them all first. [00:42:41] Speaker B: Well. [00:42:44] Speaker B: Lou, you certainly have a package to deliver. [00:42:50] Speaker A: Yeah I would like to take the the plans to the chorus. [00:42:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:57] Speaker B: And as you is anybody else going. [00:43:02] Speaker F: I'll stay back and cook I gotta make everyone a post victory meal. [00:43:07] Speaker D: I wouldn't mind going I was gonna. [00:43:09] Speaker G: Say Yuri didn't you want to meet them? [00:43:12] Speaker D: I was just surprised her existence. [00:43:17] Speaker D: Yes I would go I would like to be disguised please please. [00:43:21] Speaker B: Okay you've got abilities disguise grave wing Alistair, are you heading along as well? [00:43:27] Speaker E: Yeah yeah Bear to avoid splitting the. [00:43:30] Speaker C: Party again well one one party is already staying behind and cooking and lathe is quiet so I'm assuming they're not going anywhere. [00:43:41] Speaker A: Yeah I don't need to do a. [00:43:42] Speaker G: Meet the family at this point Wow. [00:43:44] Speaker C: I think yeah I think if three of y' all are are going that's more than enough. [00:43:50] Speaker C: Yeah in theory we're. [00:43:52] Speaker A: Also doing so that's why yeah. [00:43:55] Speaker A: You. [00:43:57] Speaker B: Ribbon did you want to go and attempt to talk to your brother again? [00:44:03] Speaker C: You know what yeah that might be a good idea see what's hey, what's that goo buddy. You know maybe I'll go do that. [00:44:15] Speaker B: Yeah yeah Anyone want Would you ask anyone to go with you? Are you going alone? [00:44:21] Speaker C: In terms of anyone in the party tag along if you want to in terms of anybody who want Else, I don't know. Actually, it's a little. I don't. I'm not asking my sister or brother in law for sure. They gotta. They need to stay over there. So. Yeah, I'm not sure about anybody else. I also don't know if now is a. [00:44:46] Speaker A: Like. [00:44:47] Speaker C: I feel like we're a little too busy for to. For me to ask Lorelei. Like, it makes no sense. [00:44:52] Speaker B: So Lorelei is working on the plan to capture them all. [00:44:58] Speaker C: Exactly. So I'm good. Unless people from the party want to tag along, go for it. If not, I'll go by myself. [00:45:04] Speaker F: The cons of being a shut in that just wants to cook. No, you guys can do your adventures. I'm gonna make you. I'm gonna give you guys some nice little cookie baskets when you go. That's my vibe. [00:45:13] Speaker E: You should have at least one person. Like. I'm not worried about our cook getting ganked. [00:45:21] Speaker E: But we have had some bad experiences with people going off on their own. [00:45:25] Speaker A: You'll drip with lathe again. [00:45:27] Speaker B: Wow. [00:45:27] Speaker A: Gravely, you get. [00:45:29] Speaker G: No. I'll stay here and watch Niall. [00:45:33] Speaker F: Why are you watching me? [00:45:36] Speaker F: Here, have this cookie. [00:45:38] Speaker G: Don't worry about it. [00:45:41] Speaker A: I don't know if you stay with Niall. Niall might talk to you about relationships. [00:45:47] Speaker A: They might give you a relationship advice. [00:45:49] Speaker D: Stay, stay, stay, stay. Kick down that door, Nile. [00:45:53] Speaker B: You could always ask someone like Vittorio or pick up somebody from. [00:46:00] Speaker B: The. [00:46:02] Speaker A: Funniest option. [00:46:04] Speaker G: That's so cute. [00:46:05] Speaker C: So wait. Wait one second. I didn't pay attention to any of y'. [00:46:07] Speaker B: All. [00:46:07] Speaker A: Shut up. [00:46:09] Speaker C: But. [00:46:10] Speaker G: Okay. But Niall, didn't you say you wanted to have a talk with Griefwing? [00:46:16] Speaker F: Yes, we have something planned. But also, I'm assuming if Graven was going to go talk to her brother, that's not going to be the right time for it, if that makes sense. [00:46:29] Speaker F: Oh, thank God. [00:46:30] Speaker A: I have to be at the brother. Yeah, it could be on the way home. I'm back. I don't know what the talk is, so. [00:46:35] Speaker F: Oh, Graven's already talking to her brother. [00:46:37] Speaker A: It's okay. [00:46:39] Speaker C: No, I. I told y' all I needed to step for a second. [00:46:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, you did. [00:46:44] Speaker A: I was making a bad joke. [00:46:51] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:52] Speaker B: Did you want to ask someone like Vittorio to go with you? [00:46:55] Speaker A: No choice. [00:47:01] Speaker G: I don't know. [00:47:03] Speaker C: It's a bonkers choice. I don't know how useful he'd be in this. [00:47:06] Speaker A: And like you wanted to say, he. [00:47:11] Speaker D: He said he wanted to prove himself, so. [00:47:13] Speaker C: Yeah, but what can he do? Turn into, like, fried chicken? [00:47:18] Speaker D: He's a magus. [00:47:20] Speaker A: Yeah, he is a Magus and be your bodyguard. As if you need one. [00:47:25] Speaker C: I'll take it. My God. [00:47:27] Speaker D: Spell striked in bird form. [00:47:29] Speaker A: It was really cool. [00:47:30] Speaker C: Active. I actively wasn't there to see it, so it's really funny. So both me and Grimwing both don't know. It's so funny. [00:47:39] Speaker C: Fine, I'll ask him. [00:47:42] Speaker C: Let me ask the main character. Is that what you're forcing me to do? I'll do it. [00:47:47] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, do it. [00:47:52] Speaker C: Hey, chicken boy. You wanted to make yourself useful, right? [00:47:57] Speaker B: I looks. Looks up for whatever book he's reading and goes, yes, Yes, I did. [00:48:03] Speaker C: Do you do magic or understand magic? [00:48:08] Speaker B: I can do both of those. Yes. [00:48:13] Speaker C: All right. [00:48:13] Speaker A: Come with me. [00:48:16] Speaker B: Of course. [00:48:20] Speaker B: Won't ask questions or anything and just. [00:48:24] Speaker B: It'll just look like, you know, you're being properly escorted. [00:48:31] Speaker C: I'm in my civies too. Yeah, I'm an. [00:48:33] Speaker A: I'm just a lady. [00:48:35] Speaker C: I'm just. I'm just a young man, you know, I'm. [00:48:39] Speaker E: I need. [00:48:40] Speaker C: With. With my dainty arms. I need help crossing this here bridge upon this here river. I need help or else some holes will touch me. [00:48:51] Speaker C: I could go way harder on this accent, but, like, I. I kind of just like how bad it is. [00:48:56] Speaker B: It's. [00:48:57] Speaker A: It's fun. [00:48:58] Speaker B: So you and Vittoria will cross into. Heading to Silver, heading to Emerald Reach, and we'll pick up with you in a second. And we'll go to the group that's headed into Ravenswood to go to that old theater. [00:49:17] Speaker A: Yep. [00:49:18] Speaker B: The Silver Link. [00:49:21] Speaker A: Just going to walk in. [00:49:25] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You do. And once again, it's quiet. You see somebody else behind, sort of sweeping and cleaning, and they look up when you come in and say, oh, can we help you? [00:49:42] Speaker G: Yes. [00:49:42] Speaker A: I am here to repay a debt. [00:49:46] Speaker B: And the question is. [00:49:49] Speaker B: Do you show the emblem that you got? [00:49:53] Speaker A: I will flash it like a magic trick so that like. Like a card trick. And she's probably very good at that by this point. So that the party doesn't see it, but the chorus member does. [00:50:06] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you do that. Their. Their eyes fall to it and they say. [00:50:16] Speaker B: Lovely to see you again. Head on into the theater. Chorus will see you. [00:50:22] Speaker A: Thank you very much. [00:50:25] Speaker A: And welcome in. [00:50:27] Speaker B: And like before, there's a single magical light on stage, the ghost light. And this time, sitting on the stage looking out at you is someone sort of slightly shrouded in darkness. You can kind of make out long dark hair and the pointed ears of an elf. [00:50:54] Speaker A: Different. Different entity this time. [00:50:57] Speaker B: Different form for sure. [00:51:02] Speaker A: Yeah. L will just present the plans. [00:51:08] Speaker B: And you know, their face is kind of hard to see because they have the bright light of the ghost light behind them which kind of throw their face into shadow as they reach forward and take the plans from you. And they flip through them and they. You hear the smile of their voice to say, ah yes, the genuine article. You have no idea how long we've been trying to get our hands on these things. [00:51:33] Speaker A: Oh well, you know, it's very, very easy. You just have to infiltrate the party and stop execution and kill a lot of people, I guess. [00:51:44] Speaker B: Only. Only the easiest of plants. [00:51:49] Speaker A: That's what we're known for. [00:51:53] Speaker B: Well. [00:51:55] Speaker B: This certainly makes us square for sure. But. [00:52:03] Speaker B: I'm pretty sure that the song of shadow can do many things for you. [00:52:08] Speaker A: I would appreciate it if they could. [00:52:15] Speaker A: What does the song of Chateau know about the Queen admitted? [00:52:24] Speaker B: There's kind of a dry chuckle. And. [00:52:30] Speaker B: The chorus. They set the plans down and. [00:52:36] Speaker B: They. [00:52:38] Speaker B: Get up on stage and. [00:52:42] Speaker B: Walk towards the ghost light. And you watch as they cup it in their hand. And doing so they put their face into stark reveal. And you can see this face that is crisscrossed with several scars. [00:53:06] Speaker B: One of their eyes may is a little cloudy. And. [00:53:12] Speaker B: They look over at you and say. [00:53:18] Speaker B: The Queen of Maybid is not to be trifled with. [00:53:26] Speaker B: But of course, that's why we do it. [00:53:31] Speaker D: What happens when you do? [00:53:35] Speaker D: You know, just theoretically. [00:53:39] Speaker A: What happens if she trifles first? [00:53:45] Speaker B: The Fae, we. [00:53:48] Speaker B: Love our games. [00:53:55] Speaker B: I gestures up at his face and. [00:53:58] Speaker A: Says. [00:54:01] Speaker B: You always have to stay one step ahead. [00:54:08] Speaker A: And how would you suggest getting ahead of someone like the Queen? [00:54:19] Speaker B: Well, you always have to. You know what she wants. [00:54:25] Speaker B: You can use that to bargain. [00:54:29] Speaker B: Gives you a wide smile. [00:54:33] Speaker B: And. [00:54:36] Speaker B: When you do have what she wants, and you play your cards right, you can set your terms. [00:54:47] Speaker B: She will give you the harsh, harshest option up front. Because that suits her best. [00:54:56] Speaker B: But the Fae. [00:55:00] Speaker B: Play games. Like to bargain. [00:55:08] Speaker A: I see. [00:55:12] Speaker A: Well, that is. [00:55:14] Speaker A: More helpful than I imagined. And less helpful than I hoped. [00:55:19] Speaker A: So. Thank you. [00:55:23] Speaker B: You're welcome. Sort of steps beyond the light, throwing his face back into shadows. [00:55:30] Speaker A: One more question, if I might. [00:55:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:55:39] Speaker A: What happened to Oberon? [00:55:43] Speaker B: He was a foolish, foolish man who. [00:55:47] Speaker B: Let his heart get the better of him. [00:55:53] Speaker B: Always wanted to see the best in people. [00:55:57] Speaker A: An idealist. [00:56:02] Speaker B: An idealist. As bright as a summer's day. [00:56:12] Speaker A: Was. You're certain it was a worse? [00:56:18] Speaker B: I think it's better, sure. Many people. If Oberon stays a waste. [00:56:27] Speaker A: Well, that may be true for Obero. [00:56:34] Speaker A: But I don't know if that is true for Me. But. [00:56:38] Speaker A: Thank you for your time. I look forward to doing more business with the chorus in the future. What is it that you would like in return for this information? [00:56:54] Speaker B: Gives you a deep bow and says. [00:56:58] Speaker B: If you ever happen to. [00:57:03] Speaker B: Find yourself in Maybit. [00:57:08] Speaker B: I would like you to give something to someone. [00:57:11] Speaker A: Rin. [00:57:14] Speaker A: Yes, I can do this. What would you like? [00:57:20] Speaker B: Well, out of a pocket, pull a small wrapped bundle in the same kind of silk that the dress that you had was made out of. [00:57:34] Speaker B: It's no bigger than your fist. [00:57:39] Speaker B: And we'll hand it to you and say. [00:57:44] Speaker B: This is for her. [00:57:48] Speaker A: I will see it delivered. I cannot promise it will be particularly timely, but it will definitely be sooner than later. [00:57:59] Speaker B: Timely is different to everyone than it is to the fae. [00:58:07] Speaker A: Yes. [00:58:09] Speaker B: Everything happens when it should. Never a moment sooner. [00:58:16] Speaker A: I got one more question, actually. [00:58:19] Speaker B: Are you. [00:58:21] Speaker D: Are we going to owe something for each question? [00:58:24] Speaker A: I don't know. I've only recently started doing business with these people. I don't know. I don't think it's a Whiskey Jack rules, is it? [00:58:33] Speaker B: No. [00:58:34] Speaker D: Do you know? [00:58:34] Speaker A: Yeah, they're much more reasonable. [00:58:38] Speaker E: Maybe you should ask more specifically instead of Whiskey Jack rules. Because they aren't Whiskey Jack. So they have their own rules. [00:58:50] Speaker D: You. You're friends with Whiskey? [00:58:54] Speaker D: Part of the club. [00:58:56] Speaker B: I've met him before. [00:59:00] Speaker A: Yeah, he does. [00:59:01] Speaker D: Oh, yes, he does. [00:59:04] Speaker A: The question that I have for you. If everything that the fate is is within perfect timing, then why might Queen Mab be interested in reaching out to the descendants of someone who. [00:59:20] Speaker A: Her court's magic touched in a very great and terrible way many years ago? Why would it be now? [00:59:30] Speaker B: And I pose a question to you. How many years ago was that? [00:59:34] Speaker A: Like 76, I think he said. [00:59:37] Speaker D: At least. [00:59:39] Speaker B: Well, time passes different for the fae than it does. But. [00:59:46] Speaker B: Certainly you're within. [00:59:51] Speaker B: A hundred years. [00:59:56] Speaker A: It also just so happens to have been within days of me coming across some interesting information about that predecessor. [01:00:10] Speaker A: Very personal. Like a journal of types of some sorts. [01:00:16] Speaker B: Of some sorts? Well. [01:00:23] Speaker B: Ma did keep the summer's best oracles. [01:00:29] Speaker A: I see. [01:00:33] Speaker B: Whatever this curse is and whatever that book is, she clearly wants it. [01:00:40] Speaker A: How interesting. [01:00:43] Speaker D: That's okay. [01:00:46] Speaker A: You know, it doesn't occur to me that it originated not from Mab. It originated from Oberon, if I recall correctly. [01:00:56] Speaker D: It's true. No one said curse, by the way. I just want to point out. [01:01:01] Speaker A: Yeah, the chorus. You are also your cousin is potentially one of the chorus. So. [01:01:08] Speaker B: Allegedly. [01:01:11] Speaker D: No, I mean, like, I don't offense, like, they know. [01:01:15] Speaker A: They know who we are. I don't know why I was being coy, but, like, they know who we are. [01:01:20] Speaker D: Okay, okay. Just. Look, first time meeting you, this is great. [01:01:26] Speaker A: Which I know does not mean much for us anymore, but like. [01:01:30] Speaker D: No, it doesn't. The purchase of words, but, you know, we had. [01:01:33] Speaker A: Is very cool. I think I heard. I hope. I hope that paragon is good. I am trusting. [01:01:39] Speaker D: Are they cool? [01:01:40] Speaker B: It's very cool. [01:01:44] Speaker B: She serves the grave very well. [01:01:50] Speaker D: Grave. The grave. The. The. Okay. [01:01:53] Speaker A: The. God. No, the. Like. Good night. What is this gesture? [01:02:03] Speaker B: In a manner of speaking. [01:02:06] Speaker D: Okay. [01:02:07] Speaker B: But there's also the vivace and the adagio. You would make an excellent adagio for me. Yes. [01:02:18] Speaker A: You are the first person to tell me something like that. I'm going to ride this high for the rest of my life. [01:02:29] Speaker B: If you decide to. [01:02:34] Speaker B: Join, just have a spot ready for you. [01:02:44] Speaker D: Let's. We'll talk about that. [01:02:48] Speaker D: After some services are done. [01:02:51] Speaker B: I suppose you are all very busy. I understand. I have a bit about time. [01:02:56] Speaker D: So how do you. Even with the end of the world, you still have time? [01:03:03] Speaker B: I am faith. [01:03:08] Speaker A: I am only saying if you really, really had faith in something, you would put a little oomph in your step. You know what I mean? [01:03:19] Speaker A: Help the engines that are turning in the direction of stopping it. [01:03:26] Speaker B: Luke, can you give me a diplomacy check? [01:03:30] Speaker A: Yes. [01:03:31] Speaker G: Give us a flirt check, Lou. [01:03:40] Speaker A: That's good. That's very good. I think that's gonna be a. Okay. Okay. My diplomacy is not as good as I thought it was, but still good. Totals. [01:03:54] Speaker A: 31. [01:03:57] Speaker B: 31 looks at you and says. [01:04:07] Speaker C: I'll. [01:04:08] Speaker B: Make you a deal right now. [01:04:11] Speaker A: Name it. [01:04:11] Speaker B: You take care of the senator in this district. [01:04:19] Speaker B: And. [01:04:21] Speaker B: My agents in the city will help you in whatever way they can. [01:04:27] Speaker G: Done. [01:04:28] Speaker A: Okay. [01:04:29] Speaker D: I. I. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, 100%. I could help with that too. Do I get part of that deal? [01:04:38] Speaker B: You're part of her organization, aren't you? [01:04:40] Speaker A: It. What do you mean? Yori. [01:04:43] Speaker B: I. [01:04:45] Speaker D: Okay. Yes, of course. [01:04:46] Speaker A: Please flirt another time. This is not the time for flirting. They are professional. [01:04:52] Speaker D: Sorry. Buttoning the lips now. [01:04:58] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll. I don't know, shake their hand. Does the cor. How does the chorus seal deals? We didn't really do anything formal last time, but this feels like it requires formality. [01:05:07] Speaker C: Yes. [01:05:08] Speaker D: Oh. [01:05:09] Speaker B: Shake your hand. [01:05:12] Speaker A: All right. [01:05:14] Speaker A: And we will be back with Happy New Soon, I hope. [01:05:17] Speaker B: As you approach, you approach him, you smell the. [01:05:24] Speaker B: Smells like summer day. [01:05:34] Speaker B: You. [01:05:36] Speaker B: Leave and. [01:05:38] Speaker B: Sort of stand outside of the silver light as you possibly process what you've just done. [01:05:49] Speaker A: Well, I think that went well. [01:05:52] Speaker D: So, like, you We've been making lots of deals with the Fae lately. [01:05:57] Speaker A: That one doesn't count as Fae. That is the Chorus. That is different. [01:06:01] Speaker D: Okay. [01:06:01] Speaker A: They are different every time you meet them. It's just in a member of the Chorus. [01:06:08] Speaker A: It was almost certainly paragraph last time. Almost certainly. I can't confirm it because I couldn't see her face. But like, I sort of know my sister. [01:06:21] Speaker A: I'm trying to know my sister. [01:06:24] Speaker D: I just want to just make statements clear. Yes, I understand. I'm at the best judgment of people sometimes. However. [01:06:37] Speaker A: Yes, that was a. [01:06:38] Speaker D: Wait. [01:06:38] Speaker A: Come on. We both think that was over on. Right? Like that was Oberon. [01:06:43] Speaker D: Don't say it too loudly. [01:06:46] Speaker A: That has to be over. [01:06:47] Speaker D: I. I'm just saying when they said. They said we and they like to play games in the same sentence. [01:06:55] Speaker A: I understand. I. Yes, obviously they are fair. I just. That is, you can be fair, but also part of the chorus, apparently. That is fine. And the Chorus is like overrides the Fae thing. I'm putting a lot of faith in the chorus. I'm not gonna lie. But like. I really trust them as an organization for some reason. [01:07:13] Speaker D: Okay. [01:07:14] Speaker E: You should be more careful about your questions with the Fae though. [01:07:19] Speaker A: Listen, I did so good with Queen Mab. You don't even know asking if it. [01:07:23] Speaker E: Was a Whiskey Jack like type of deal. They're not Whiskey Jack. Even if it is a Whiskey Jack type of deal, the answer is still no. [01:07:34] Speaker D: See, Alistair is so smart. You can't argue with them. [01:07:39] Speaker A: Honestly, you think I was in front of the Queen Mab and came away without making any deals because I was out of my mind and saying careless things? Now it is different. [01:07:50] Speaker D: Just. I just. You know, we're in a lot of situations right now just trying to stay afloat. [01:07:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you know what? We're not gonna get out of any of these situations if we do not do a few risks, you know? [01:08:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:08:03] Speaker D: I mean, to be fair, getting rid of the Senator is already on our to do list. [01:08:06] Speaker A: Already on our list. This is so easy. And then we get allies in the process that are not mad. Does not fully solve the map problem. But I'm working on that. I have new ideas. [01:08:16] Speaker D: I mean, if they are Obadiah. [01:08:21] Speaker E: Obadiah. [01:08:22] Speaker A: You do that because you're obscuring the. [01:08:25] Speaker D: Name so that nobody. [01:08:28] Speaker D: Having them as an ally would be good in case your deal with what's their face goes poorly. [01:08:38] Speaker D: What they do. Whatever. How do we know? How do we know if you're you. [01:08:42] Speaker A: And that the spiky lady holds up the Bracelet. [01:08:47] Speaker D: Oh, okay. [01:08:49] Speaker A: So do you remember that time when you were like 12 and I hit you in the head with a bell because the bell was as big as my body. [01:09:01] Speaker D: Yeah. You were trying some stuff out. It really hurt. [01:09:05] Speaker A: I bond you and it was on purpose. [01:09:11] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. Okay, Okay. I understand. [01:09:14] Speaker A: I believe it is me now. Come on. [01:09:16] Speaker D: Oh, yes, I understand. I just. [01:09:18] Speaker A: I should be offended that the lady of Thorns was able to fool you in the first place. What is the point of having a shared childhood, huh? [01:09:24] Speaker B: Okay. [01:09:25] Speaker A: Goodness gracious. Niall is the only one who gets a pass. [01:09:29] Speaker D: We. You were in the hole. You just jumped down the hall. I was just kidnapped. [01:09:35] Speaker A: I was double kidnapped. [01:09:36] Speaker C: What do you want? [01:09:38] Speaker D: I just. I want to be sure. [01:09:40] Speaker A: So today is good? It is good. Sometimes. [01:09:46] Speaker D: Do you know if they're, like, malicious or they just like. Trickster. [01:09:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Lady of Thorns. [01:09:53] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:09:54] Speaker A: Oh. [01:09:56] Speaker A: As far as I understand it, she's very much. [01:10:01] Speaker A: Malicious. Yeah. Okay. Wants to, like, torture people, things like that. [01:10:09] Speaker E: That's a queen maid. [01:10:11] Speaker A: No, no, no. Her agent. [01:10:14] Speaker D: Okay. [01:10:15] Speaker A: The one who just, like, impersonated me. Oh, you weren't there for that. But we did touch on it a little bit in the catch up. [01:10:23] Speaker D: Like, literally, like I thought when they weren't excited to see me. I mean, I understand we did just fight recently, but also, like, you were very tired and exhausted. [01:10:33] Speaker A: I wasn't excited to see you. [01:10:36] Speaker D: Well, it wasn't you. [01:10:39] Speaker A: She's not even a good impersonator. [01:10:43] Speaker A: Anyone would be excited to see their cousin after they had been kidnapped for, like, two weeks. Gosh. It's like she did not even watch me. Very interesting. At all. [01:10:54] Speaker D: Barely busy. Okay, well. [01:10:58] Speaker D: Good to know. I will make sure to keep an eye out. And we should inform the others about the bracelet thing. [01:11:05] Speaker D: So we don't give them too many ideas. [01:11:09] Speaker D: H. I don't. I don't. I'm not going to trust them. I don't want to talk about our plans in front of them. [01:11:15] Speaker A: The rest of the party. [01:11:17] Speaker D: No, the break. Thorns. [01:11:20] Speaker A: Oh. [01:11:21] Speaker D: Tell the rest of the party about the bracelet so they know so we don't talk. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah, obviously. [01:11:28] Speaker A: Like, I thought we were over not trusting the other half of the party. [01:11:33] Speaker A: Like, they don't even know every detail of everything that happened in the hall. Obviously. But, like, come on. [01:11:39] Speaker D: I'm still sure Gravy wants to beat my ass, but that's, you know, we're getting better at. [01:11:45] Speaker A: I think that's just graveling. I think she just likes to beat people up. [01:11:49] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:11:49] Speaker A: After a certain point, it Starts to become like a form of affection. I don't know if she knows that but I feel like it's kind of like she beat up her own brother. Evidently. Clearly it is a not entirely antagonistic. [01:12:05] Speaker D: She threw whiskey through a door so you know some kind of affection there. [01:12:08] Speaker A: Don't. Don't date Grapewing. [01:12:14] Speaker D: God no. What the fuck? [01:12:16] Speaker A: I'm not saying that she is not an attractive woman but like. [01:12:27] Speaker A: She is in our relationship. [01:12:29] Speaker E: How do you expect Lou not to say that? I mean I think one of our new recruits is one of your exes. [01:12:36] Speaker A: Yes. [01:12:38] Speaker C: No. [01:12:40] Speaker A: Did you not hear? [01:12:41] Speaker E: No. [01:12:42] Speaker D: Yes. [01:12:43] Speaker E: Some Kinku Cardomancer. [01:12:48] Speaker D: Tango Tingle. [01:12:51] Speaker A: Oh yeah, their name was like etheric or something. [01:12:56] Speaker D: We're chill. I think. [01:13:03] Speaker D: They prefer not to spend time around me. You may like them, they spend a lot of time with Harrow. [01:13:14] Speaker A: Well then maybe they can teach me how to do it properly. I've been making it up just. I think everybody does. [01:13:25] Speaker D: Just not around me. Please, you know, take them somewhere else. [01:13:31] Speaker A: Ah, ended well, huh? [01:13:34] Speaker D: I. [01:13:37] Speaker D: I didn't end. It wasn't the worst. They just were stressed every time they read cards for me. Every single time. [01:13:49] Speaker A: No, that's right. Every time I read cards about you it's just always tragic dude. [01:13:53] Speaker D: Great, cool. Thanks. [01:13:54] Speaker A: Yeah, I kind of can't do pools about you specifically unless I like want the omen of death. [01:14:03] Speaker A: But like I get those a lot anyway because the world is ending so I just kind of assume it's eat up to that. [01:14:11] Speaker D: Yeah, that's what they said. [01:14:13] Speaker A: They knew the world was ending. That's impressive. [01:14:16] Speaker D: Well they've just around me specifically six. This was six years ago mind you I. I've maybe seen them once and they. They saw me and closed up shop. [01:14:32] Speaker G: So. [01:14:34] Speaker A: I don't know if it really ended as good as you think it did you already? [01:14:38] Speaker D: Oh again I think they're just extremely stressed around me. Apology of course I owe them up. I owe everyone an apology and I understand this. [01:14:48] Speaker D: Okay, do we have anything else we need to do in this area? [01:14:52] Speaker A: I'm just going to give Yuri a kiss on the cheek and walk away. [01:14:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:15:03] Speaker B: And we'll find our camera shifting as we go to the other side. And we follow Gray Wing and Vittorio. [01:15:12] Speaker C: I have two coats on because it's winter. You said it was 4 degrees Celsius and griefling is quite literally cold blooded. She's so cold she took a step outside. We had to. We had to go back inside because I needed another coat and now I'm walking and begrudgingly at Some point I think I have to hold on to this man cuz I'm cold. I'm so cold. [01:15:44] Speaker B: Yeah, he, I mean. [01:15:49] Speaker B: He can probably tell that you're cold. [01:15:54] Speaker C: I think it's very difficult to hide it. [01:15:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:15:58] Speaker C: Basically I basically look like a babushka at this point. I, I just, I'm. I, I like to think that the spongebob squeaky shoes is happening here because I'm just very aggressively stomping. I'm cold. [01:16:15] Speaker B: Yeah. I think you. [01:16:19] Speaker B: You feel like he casts a spell. [01:16:24] Speaker B: Sort of a basic, you know, fire spell. Uses it to like warm his hands. [01:16:32] Speaker B: To help you in any way he can because he, he notices. [01:16:39] Speaker C: I'm cold blooded. [01:16:43] Speaker B: I had. [01:16:46] Speaker B: Wondered that. Yes. [01:16:51] Speaker C: My, my brother should also be feeling cold but not as bad as me. Thankfully only one other person is this cold or should get this cold but she should be fine. [01:17:15] Speaker B: Yeah. And like as you're, as you're going, you know there's, there's people selling hot tea, hot coffee, coffee on the lake, you know, especially near the bridge. So he will buy you both some there. It's like a copper a piece to at least hold. [01:17:33] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm holding it, I'm sipping. It's real difficult when, when you're like when you feel really, really cold. Really difficult to be tough right now. [01:17:44] Speaker C: Worst part, if we have to stand in line for the too long, I do think Grave it will get sleepy. [01:17:51] Speaker B: Yeah, no, luckily everything is moving pretty quickly and you don't have to stand in line for too long. But yeah. [01:17:59] Speaker C: Yeah I think if, if we had like a group meeting or something like that and people took too long, you would have found Grave wing asleep at the table. Is, is an unfortunate time. This will happen throughout the entire season. [01:18:12] Speaker A: Basically I, I have to work out. [01:18:15] Speaker C: I have to do a lot of shit more often now to, to keep my body warm and stay awake. [01:18:21] Speaker B: Yep. [01:18:21] Speaker C: But yeah that's, it's the start. It's the start of sleepy hours all the time. [01:18:26] Speaker B: Connix and Lena are keeping all of the fireplaces lit in Wollstonecraft Manor. [01:18:31] Speaker B: Oh yeah. So the, the mansion is very warm. [01:18:35] Speaker C: Unfortunately I think I have the monopoly of all the blankets as well in the mansion or like majority like if there were extra blankets. They're mine now. I'm so cold. [01:18:48] Speaker B: Yeah. And yeah as you're doing this he's looking around the city and watching how it's changed and. [01:18:57] Speaker B: I kind of find myself a little disappointed that. [01:19:02] Speaker B: Things have not gotten better. Not 75 years. [01:19:07] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean. [01:19:12] Speaker C: Some areas are less shitty than they were a few years ago. But I don't, I don't know if that's. [01:19:24] Speaker C: I don't know if that's any better for you. [01:19:27] Speaker B: I still remember when Coffin was, was a sprawling residential district with many beautiful homes. [01:19:38] Speaker A: Oh. [01:19:39] Speaker B: Oh, it's been a long time. [01:19:42] Speaker C: It's nothing like that now. [01:19:46] Speaker B: It's. [01:19:49] Speaker B: I hope I can help and maybe. [01:19:57] Speaker B: Bring some of the beauty of the city that once was back. [01:20:05] Speaker C: Oh, no, there's still some beauty here. [01:20:08] Speaker A: You. [01:20:10] Speaker C: Just gotta tilt your head a little bit. We've got really waxy floors in Coffin Walk, but that's just because we keep lighting candles all over the place. They don't light our lamps anywhere in Coffin Walk, so we do it ourselves. [01:20:29] Speaker B: That is truly unfortunate. [01:20:36] Speaker C: Well. [01:20:38] Speaker C: Life sucks, buddy. I think you'd know that. [01:20:42] Speaker D: Yes. [01:20:42] Speaker B: I, I. [01:20:50] Speaker E: And. [01:20:54] Speaker C: I'm just gonna warn you ahead of time. [01:20:58] Speaker C: We have a party member. I think you've met him already, Nile. He's gonna ask you if you lay eggs. [01:21:10] Speaker C: Just, just be aware of that. [01:21:17] Speaker C: Eggs. [01:21:19] Speaker C: I don't care. I'm telling him this. He, he means, he means well, but. [01:21:25] Speaker C: She'S just really curious. [01:21:33] Speaker B: Certainly good to know. They certainly. I really do like their cooking. [01:21:41] Speaker C: That's really good. [01:21:44] Speaker B: What I had in, had this morning was quite good. [01:21:49] Speaker C: They make the soup and gravy's gonna focus on the soup right now because it's just, it's just like, it's just ticked at the math. For me. The type of snake grave wing is. She shouldn't be out in anything lower than the, the 23 degrees Celsius. She's cold. [01:22:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:22:11] Speaker C: It is a long walk. [01:22:13] Speaker B: Do you also say what's in the, the recipe? [01:22:21] Speaker C: I, I don't know what's in the recipe of, of this soup. But like, I like meats and stuff like that. And I think it's like a hearty stew. And it's like so good and it's so warm and that's all graveling's gotta think about right now. This is that fucking soup. And it's really cold outside and she should be asleep. [01:22:40] Speaker C: I don't know what's in the soup. I really don't know what's in the soup. I don't care what's in the soup. There could. Maybe he's been, he's been putting fingers in the soup. I don't know. [01:22:49] Speaker A: Okay. [01:22:49] Speaker C: But like, it's really good soup. [01:22:53] Speaker B: So as you're describing the soup and what might be in it, you're probably not really paying attention. To the fact that as you pass different people selling ingredients, you slip some money and continues to sort of collect a bunch of ingredients as you're walking through, especially the Darklight Bazaar. And eventually, you do come to Emerald Reach and the. [01:23:26] Speaker B: The home that belongs to your brother. [01:23:34] Speaker C: Because I know that everybody else is listening. [01:23:38] Speaker C: You're about to be called me grandma. [01:23:40] Speaker D: You better shut the up. [01:23:47] Speaker C: God damn. [01:23:48] Speaker F: More Riz than any character we've ever played. [01:23:52] Speaker C: This game's strong. I'm not paying. I'm. I don't think ribbons pay. I don't think Grave Wing can pay attention right now. You know, it's just. It's winter. Takes a bit to get used to if you're. If your weather changes. Take a bit to get used to if you're sensitive to that. [01:24:10] Speaker A: Cool. [01:24:10] Speaker C: We get to the place. I open the door. We get in, I close the door. This is a fancy place, or at least it has central heating. I take some time to enjoy the heating. [01:24:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. It certainly is nice. This is one of those fancy places that has, like, the ability to have heated floors. [01:24:40] Speaker C: Takes everything in me to not just lie down on the floor right now. [01:24:45] Speaker C: Okay. This is nice. [01:24:51] Speaker A: Okay. [01:24:52] Speaker C: Context. Wait. No, you were. You were there when we were talking, when we were catching up. [01:25:00] Speaker B: Yes. [01:25:02] Speaker A: Okay. [01:25:06] Speaker C: While I'm talking to my brother. [01:25:14] Speaker A: I. [01:25:14] Speaker C: Don'T know if you can do any, like, magicky checks on him at all, but if you could do that for me, that'd be great. [01:25:25] Speaker C: Pretty sure I'm. It's a little up. I really hope he's being possessed or puppeted in some way. [01:25:38] Speaker C: So I don't have to kill him. [01:25:42] Speaker B: See what I can read about his aura for sure. And any. Any magics that I have. [01:25:52] Speaker C: He's. [01:25:57] Speaker B: He's. [01:25:59] Speaker C: As a person, he's incredibly prickly. [01:26:05] Speaker C: Like, all the time, so don't mind that. [01:26:10] Speaker C: But a lot of the way that he speaks isn't right. Like, he's not forming sentences the way that we do. I really. We don't think that's. [01:26:27] Speaker C: That's not the way we talk to each other. That might be the way he talks to his bosses. I'm not his boss, so. [01:26:35] Speaker C: Okay. [01:26:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:26:36] Speaker C: Let's go. [01:26:39] Speaker B: Yeah. You know that he is being kept in the converted cell in. In the basement. [01:26:49] Speaker C: Aubry, has this place changed at all? Does it smell funny? Like, I want to know, like, if there's any environmental changes in here Also, I'm walking down with a blanket for him. Not me. [01:27:04] Speaker B: Of course the place smells better, but you don't know if it's just that last time you were here there were a lot of drop cloths on things. It certainly looked like somebody was cleaning and fixing up the place, like somebody hadn't lived here in a while. [01:27:22] Speaker C: So I think, and I'll give a visual media reference, I think in his little makeshift cage, we had to kind of bind his hands in the same ways that the fire nation bound water benders. [01:27:42] Speaker C: Because his element is water. [01:27:48] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:27:48] Speaker C: He does ice too, but water is the big one. So I think we kind of have them stuck like that and we do a similar situation where we kind of feed them water with a cup on a, on a stick. Like a metal cup. Metal stick situation. Because it's water. Water is his thing. [01:28:10] Speaker C: But also he, while he's not cold blooded, he's still like reptilian adjacent because Vishkanya. So I'm. I gotta put a blanket on him. [01:28:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:28:20] Speaker C: And that's, that's what I do. [01:28:21] Speaker B: And I mean like, even still, like the basement itself is pretty warm because there is like a central heater down here that they put the wood and everything in which goes up this. The sort of the smoke and steam goes up through all of the pipes to heat the house. [01:28:38] Speaker A: So. [01:28:38] Speaker B: But the blanket is welcome, you know, there the smell caught and everything in here. And currently he's just sort of leaning against. [01:28:50] Speaker B: Like the wall and kind of like looking and sees you like come into frame kind of just wearing the remnants of. Unless you got him new clothes. [01:29:03] Speaker C: We might have when he was knocked out because he was just like vibing. [01:29:09] Speaker C: So we might have. [01:29:10] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Wearing whatever you put him in. You might have also taken off all of the armor just to make sure. [01:29:15] Speaker C: That wasn't any hidden. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. This guy's not getting any of his. It's hidden away somewhere. Heck, we might even have taken some of his stuff and like moved it to like a secondary location at this point. [01:29:30] Speaker A: But. Yeah. [01:29:32] Speaker C: Do you want the blanket on your lap or do you want it over you? [01:29:39] Speaker C: I'm asking, I'm asking him. [01:29:42] Speaker B: I was, I was rolling something really quick. [01:29:44] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I wasn't sure. [01:29:46] Speaker B: And so you enter this. Enter the cell. [01:29:49] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:29:51] Speaker B: As you do, Vittorio will sort of stick by the door, you know, keeping an eye on everything, make sure he doesn't try anything. And. [01:30:01] Speaker B: And as. [01:30:05] Speaker B: As he looks up in his eyes meet yours, just, just for a moment. [01:30:13] Speaker D: It'S. [01:30:13] Speaker B: It's him again. [01:30:17] Speaker B: And then it. [01:30:20] Speaker B: It's not. [01:30:24] Speaker B: But it's. You have a feeling that the grip is weaker on him. [01:30:34] Speaker B: And. [01:30:38] Speaker B: For A moment. He looks like he's about to say something snarky to try and provoke you, but doesn't because even in this state, he is aware of how much he needs heat. [01:30:58] Speaker B: And we'll say. [01:31:01] Speaker B: Kind of gruffly around the shoulders. [01:31:06] Speaker C: I'll go do that. Because. [01:31:09] Speaker C: I'm not. [01:31:11] Speaker C: Worried, like, in terms of, like, getting grabbed or getting hit or anything like that. I'm not worried about that. I'm way more concerned about the. The warmth part, though. This basement being warm. It's kind of nice. It's kind of. It's kind of super nice. It's got engraving. The furnace for that, you know, like. So it's like. [01:31:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I know you're in there. This place is fancy. [01:31:43] Speaker B: And. [01:31:45] Speaker B: Well, lots of money gets you. [01:31:52] Speaker C: He still. He's. His eyes are still like the other person's, right? [01:31:56] Speaker B: Yeah. But for a moment, you could see the old him just for a second before whatever it was was able to regain its hold. Mm. [01:32:11] Speaker C: Is your friend feeling chatty? [01:32:18] Speaker B: We'll look up at you with kind of a crooked sense smile and says. [01:32:27] Speaker B: Got questions for me? [01:32:31] Speaker C: You're not going to be alive for long. [01:32:35] Speaker C: So if you talk real nice, we can try and see if we can make your passing as painless as possible and as not as humiliating. Humiliating as it probably already is for you. [01:32:54] Speaker C: You got plans? Why don't you tell me about that first? [01:32:59] Speaker B: Give me an intimidate role. [01:33:03] Speaker A: Besties. [01:33:04] Speaker C: I'm trained in it. I didn't think I was. Oh. [01:33:09] Speaker C: I'm using a hero point. That was a bad roll. [01:33:16] Speaker C: 25 with. With the hero point. [01:33:19] Speaker B: Okay. [01:33:24] Speaker B: There's kind of a horse laugh as probably doesn't talk much and says. [01:33:35] Speaker B: It won't matter soon. [01:33:40] Speaker B: Once they're done with the symphony. It's. [01:33:46] Speaker B: Almost time. [01:33:49] Speaker C: And what's the symphony? [01:33:52] Speaker B: The next step. [01:33:56] Speaker C: Are there more of you? And I mean you and your. [01:34:03] Speaker C: Gooeyness. [01:34:06] Speaker B: More than you could know. [01:34:10] Speaker B: You could have him back, you know. All you gotta do is. [01:34:17] Speaker B: Make that deal. [01:34:20] Speaker C: Unfortunately, that's not good enough for me. You see, my little brother here pissed me the fuck off. So I'm not too. Too keen on having him back just yet. He's gotta apologize first, and I don't think you're gonna let him. So I'm very okay with watching you die very slowly, pathetically. And also letting you know that. [01:34:52] Speaker C: It must really suck to watch all your plans fail. We're holy people, not you. [01:35:05] Speaker B: Oh, we'll see about that. Okay, game of chicken. See who cracks first. [01:35:17] Speaker C: I don't crack Easy. [01:35:22] Speaker C: Were you or your friends. [01:35:27] Speaker C: You're, like, liquid, right? Do you come in purple? [01:35:34] Speaker B: Depends. [01:35:40] Speaker G: Vibe chat. [01:35:42] Speaker C: Is it. [01:35:43] Speaker B: Is that possible? [01:35:46] Speaker C: Buff table. I'm trying to figure out if. Because they're like, liquidy. I'm trying to figure out if they were in the drink. Right. That's what I'm thinking. [01:35:56] Speaker B: Oh, no. [01:35:58] Speaker C: Yeah. You see? You see? You see my vibe. My idea. [01:36:01] Speaker F: I love the forbidden egg juice. [01:36:06] Speaker F: Everyone's reaction's perfect. [01:36:08] Speaker C: No, sorry. I'm just looking at my roll. I think that's good. I think you. No, you know, they should be fine. [01:36:14] Speaker A: Actually. [01:36:15] Speaker C: Twin 29 is 29. Should. That should. That's okay. [01:36:25] Speaker B: Say no. Not usually a color. [01:36:33] Speaker C: Not a color. You clear? [01:36:39] Speaker B: Usually black. [01:36:48] Speaker C: Do you dissolve? [01:36:53] Speaker B: You should know that. [01:36:56] Speaker B: None of us survived without a host. [01:37:00] Speaker B: You're traveling with one anyways. [01:37:07] Speaker A: Stop. [01:37:07] Speaker C: Attic. [01:37:10] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:37:10] Speaker G: Well. [01:37:15] Speaker C: That does mean that some of you gotta have some sort of backbone, some sort of conscious. [01:37:26] Speaker B: Keep telling yourself that. We all come from him, and to him we all return. [01:37:35] Speaker C: I'm a firm believer that not everybody is spineless or mindless if they're scared enough. So you think about the fact that you're gonna die and you won't be going back to him and he won't care. And if you decide to sing a tune that I like. [01:37:55] Speaker C: Then we'll. [01:37:59] Speaker B: Keep waiting. [01:38:03] Speaker C: I'll be back tomorrow. [01:38:07] Speaker C: In this weather so you better start fighting. [01:38:13] Speaker C: And go walk away. [01:38:18] Speaker C: But that last. That last bit was for my brother. [01:38:22] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:38:25] Speaker B: Yeah. And Satoria will close the door behind you and speak softly as you sort of walk up the stairs and says yes. This is what is infecting him is from. [01:38:44] Speaker B: The other place. [01:38:46] Speaker B: Believe they were calling it Magmel. When? Before I was knocked away. The land of Monsters. [01:39:02] Speaker C: How familiar are you with geography? [01:39:06] Speaker B: Unless the world has seriously changed in the last 75 years. Pretty familiar. [01:39:13] Speaker C: Okay, I might. There's got to be a map in this house. [01:39:16] Speaker A: One second. [01:39:18] Speaker C: We go look for a map so I can show him the changed geography. [01:39:25] Speaker C: Also, I like. I'm from Da. Okay, so what he just said doesn't make sense to me. [01:39:34] Speaker C: So my girl's like over all the way over here. And I know that daw is over here. [01:39:40] Speaker B: Here. [01:39:41] Speaker C: And that's called the Land of Monsters now, too. [01:39:44] Speaker B: Oh, well, it was a beautiful place years ago. I haven't been in a very long time. [01:39:53] Speaker C: Yeah, well, that's where. That's where my family immigrated from. [01:39:59] Speaker C: Supposedly. We still have the sun. Would have liked to have had some here. [01:40:08] Speaker C: I don't know. It's warmer There. [01:40:12] Speaker C: But that. I point to where magma actually is. [01:40:16] Speaker A: It's. [01:40:16] Speaker C: That's where. That's where the things are from. [01:40:22] Speaker B: Yeah. And you. You point in. [01:40:26] Speaker B: Point out an area in. [01:40:30] Speaker C: I'm hoping that this. This is an annotated map or something. Okay. This is a fancy house. My. My brother has to have a fancy map. [01:40:37] Speaker F: Please. [01:40:38] Speaker B: It's. It's sort of in the middle of Tercelka, which used to be. Which is kind of been completely destroyed by the. The energy that leaks out of the portal. [01:40:55] Speaker B: And you point to that. He's just sort of like, looking at it and goes. Dia said. I remember when the. The portal opened on the day that everything fell apart. [01:41:11] Speaker C: What? [01:41:12] Speaker A: What? [01:41:12] Speaker B: Jesus. [01:41:13] Speaker C: You're old. [01:41:14] Speaker A: Jesus. Not real. [01:41:15] Speaker C: Great mother. You're old. [01:41:19] Speaker B: Yes, this I am. I still remember what it was like to watch the sunrise. [01:41:29] Speaker C: What was. [01:41:31] Speaker B: Was beautiful. [01:41:34] Speaker B: We don't took it for granted. [01:41:37] Speaker C: I'll give you a couple of days so you can get more descriptive for me. Someone who has never seen that. [01:41:49] Speaker B: Okay, well, yes, I will write it up for you. [01:41:55] Speaker C: You're gonna have to read it to me. I don't care. Okay. [01:42:03] Speaker C: So if it's from there, I'm assuming it's like a. It kind of said that there was a connection to the tyrant. Oh, wait a minute. Are you guys all frozen? [01:42:13] Speaker E: No. [01:42:14] Speaker C: Okay. Could. Could you hear me? [01:42:15] Speaker B: The other thing. Yes, we can hear you. [01:42:18] Speaker C: Was. [01:42:20] Speaker C: Was my. Was my. [01:42:21] Speaker A: Stop taking the romance. [01:42:25] Speaker C: I can't help if my. If brave wing's level of Riz is strong enough for your grandfather's level of Riz. That man was in a hole in a closet in a hole for 76 years. You think about that. You think about that and you think about the situationship Lou is in right now. Perhaps that's the family curse. [01:42:59] Speaker D: Jesus Christ. [01:43:01] Speaker A: First thing. [01:43:03] Speaker C: The woman that bullied him. That's what he's headed into. Remember this? [01:43:07] Speaker A: Remember this? Genetics. [01:43:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:43:14] Speaker C: He could just be with everyone. [01:43:15] Speaker B: We don't know. [01:43:16] Speaker A: We don't know this man. We've known him two days. [01:43:18] Speaker C: Yeah, that's true. Maybe, maybe. Maybe grandpappy is just trying to, like, prove himself in all the ways he can. [01:43:26] Speaker A: All the ways. [01:43:27] Speaker G: Jeez. [01:43:27] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. [01:43:28] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let y' all think a little bit about that. [01:43:35] Speaker A: We're good. [01:43:36] Speaker C: The true question is, does your grandfather. Father believe in spices? We gotta find out. [01:43:42] Speaker A: There was probably more of them in his day. [01:43:45] Speaker C: I know, but like now. But, like now we're gonna find out if he, like, chose to live an unseasoned life or not. [01:43:53] Speaker A: You know, spices that. That we've never heard of. Back my day. [01:43:59] Speaker A: We had spices for our food. [01:44:02] Speaker D: Have you heard of cayenne? [01:44:10] Speaker C: Grandpa makes Tex Mex stew? [01:44:15] Speaker C: Sorry. [01:44:17] Speaker C: I. I was taught I was doing a little thing, but then back when the Internet jumped. [01:44:22] Speaker A: Loki. My bad. [01:44:23] Speaker C: And now I don't remember what I was doing. [01:44:28] Speaker A: You were saying he had to read to you because. And then you were moving on to another point from there. [01:44:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:44:33] Speaker C: Yes. [01:44:34] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah. [01:44:34] Speaker C: I said I don't care. Cool. [01:44:39] Speaker C: That thing said that it's. That thing implied that it's connected to the tyrant and we kind of already know that's what's going on, indoctrination wise. It wouldn't happen to be. [01:44:55] Speaker C: Divine in some sort of way? [01:45:01] Speaker B: Me personally? No. I learned all of my magic through a lot of studying. [01:45:09] Speaker C: Okay. [01:45:12] Speaker C: Do you think you're study? Well, actually, maybe you're. You're. You're the curse progenitor. [01:45:20] Speaker C: Do you think you could help figure out a way to get rid of this shit faster? [01:45:27] Speaker B: You can certainly take a look. I will. You can stay here to warm up. Me? We'll figure out if there's a tea. Coffee here and I'll talk to the lamplighters here, see what they know. [01:45:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:45:45] Speaker C: It'S got to be some tea here. Actually, I think we. [01:45:48] Speaker A: We. [01:45:48] Speaker C: We better find a whole cabinet or something like that. Unless this man has been living a sad life. I don't know. Actually there. [01:45:55] Speaker B: There's a full cabinet of tea. [01:45:57] Speaker C: Okay, good. [01:46:03] Speaker C: Just get some tea, get some coffee, warm up, kind of wait for him to do his thing and. [01:46:08] Speaker B: Yeah, he'll take an hour or so to talk with the lamplighters and get any information about this. And eventually he'll come back and say, well, I believe I have a place to start. [01:46:24] Speaker B: I just need anywhere that has books to research. I can't exactly go back to my old home. [01:46:37] Speaker C: Aubrey, do I know anywhere with books to research? Because in theory, everywhere there's an entire wizard tower. Wizard tower. [01:46:45] Speaker F: Okay, cool. [01:46:46] Speaker C: I think a little bit. And go. [01:46:52] Speaker C: We have a wizard tower. By we, I mean it. It belongs to one of our party members. [01:47:00] Speaker C: Alistair, the great mouse detective. [01:47:05] Speaker C: Oh. Do you know who built the city? [01:47:09] Speaker A: You're old. [01:47:09] Speaker C: I don't know if you're that old. [01:47:12] Speaker B: No, this is still a mystery that we were always curious about the architect. [01:47:21] Speaker C: You want to meet maybe the architects super great grandson David would love to. [01:47:30] Speaker A: Okay. Because he's. [01:47:33] Speaker C: A giant rat. [01:47:36] Speaker B: They did kind of meet him in passing earlier, but. Yes. [01:47:39] Speaker C: Yeah, but now you can talk to him. About his tower, and you can ask him permission to get. You actually fully need his permission to get access to the tower. [01:47:50] Speaker B: The previous occupant had was paranoid about people taking his books for the right reasons. [01:47:56] Speaker A: But, you know. [01:47:59] Speaker C: Okay, well, maybe you can. [01:48:02] Speaker C: Talk to him about that. He's kind of dying to know more secrets about his tower. [01:48:08] Speaker B: I certainly. I remember one of the previous occupants, so I can certainly. [01:48:17] Speaker B: Elucidate what I know. [01:48:20] Speaker B: But come, we must cross back to the city again. [01:48:26] Speaker C: You think there's a warmer coat? One second I'm gonna steal. [01:48:29] Speaker B: And that's probably it. [01:48:32] Speaker C: I go steal my brother's clothes. [01:48:34] Speaker B: It's like an actual, like, fur coat. [01:48:39] Speaker C: It's gonna. It's not gonna fit. He's like. He's gotta be, like, way over six feet at this point, but who gives a. I'm gold. So I'm just taking that with me. [01:48:48] Speaker A: And going. [01:48:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I look like a mound of fur. [01:48:56] Speaker B: And he will lead you back through the city, and everyone will reconvene back in the Wollstonecraft manor to talk about things you might have learned and plans. You've got a couple of days before the. The trap will spring. So this is where we'll leave it and figure out what's gonna happen next time. [01:49:20] Speaker F: Thank you, everyone, for listening to another episode of Goblets and Gays. If you like what we do here, feel like, feel free to follow us. That one guest. Me sometimes on Instagram, on Blue sky, on Patreon, on Discord. If you chat in the community Discord server. And again, as I said, pick me at 3am and I will come in and ban you from the server for as long as I can actually be allowed to ban you for. Don't test me. This is including all of you, by the way. I will find a way to ban people that are higher up on the ladder than me. Remember, to stay safe. Get some nice sunlight. I heard the sun's rays are really good around this time of year. Enjoy the nice sun while we still have it before we're all consumed by the flesh of ourselves. [01:50:05] Speaker A: Don't dab, you freak. [01:50:08] Speaker C: You know that that last part does go kind of hard, even though it makes a little bit no sense. Like, I kind of. I. I kind of like it. I. I like it, though. I kind of like it. [01:50:24] Speaker F: That's kind of the point. It's supposed to be a little more nonsensical. [01:50:29] Speaker F: Thank you. [01:50:30] Speaker C: Also, did you ever. You guys think about the fact that maybe your grandfather's a little too buggy? Because he want, I say, a little too birdie cuz he wants to eat the bul. [01:51:17] Speaker A: That dream.
