[00:00:43] Speaker A: Waking up dreaming dark so long I cannot find the meaning hold my hand Let me stay by your side through this never ending night I can feel it now it holds me all these demons always roam me in this red light because me he is reaching out consuming. [00:01:29] Speaker B: Yuri. [00:01:33] Speaker C: Aubrey. I'm going to become the Joker. I swear to God. Hi. [00:01:39] Speaker B: You already know what you're talking about. [00:01:46] Speaker A: So you're with your cousin. I'm with you. [00:01:51] Speaker C: Yes. Yuri is going to be going to Stein Hearts to see about the. The communication devices that they asked about earlier in the week. [00:02:08] Speaker B: Yeah. You are able to. That was a week ago. And you gave him the gold for it, correct? [00:02:17] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. At the time I gave him the gold. [00:02:22] Speaker B: Yeah. You do that and he will hand you two prototypes, essentially, it's about how much he's had enough time to come up with two of them. And he tells you that to send a message with this is. You cup it in your hands, you speak the message into the moth and who you want to deliver the message to. And you release it and it will find and deliver the message. [00:02:55] Speaker C: Okay. That's very simple. And. But it's a moth. It'll be unnoticeable. That's great. Thank you. How long do you think it will take to get more of these? [00:03:12] Speaker B: He says probably. Like, I probably have another two done by next week. [00:03:19] Speaker C: Okay, great, great. Yeah, we. We have some jobs you need to be doing where you may be split up. So. You know, Steinhardt. Ari, really quickly, what was the name of the estate that the ball's going to be at? [00:03:39] Speaker B: The Lark Estate, Standard. [00:03:42] Speaker C: Do you know anything about. Or rather I should not ask. What. What do you know about the Larks in their estate? [00:03:52] Speaker B: You know, the steeples, his bony fingers. Because, you know, he's a skeleton and. [00:04:01] Speaker C: Hasn'T been said before, but yes, they are skeleton. [00:04:05] Speaker B: I feel like it was said it wasn't, but it's been okay. It wasn't said okay. [00:04:09] Speaker C: No. [00:04:10] Speaker A: To me. I'm like, did I forget that? [00:04:14] Speaker D: Feels like that is. That is. That is news. I thought this was like some old, like. Like old guy, but like. I mean, but like looking like Senshi, but a little bit older kind of old man, you know, like. Like an old dwarf or something like that. Not a skeleton. Who the. You had like. What's his name? [00:04:38] Speaker A: We were so chill about this when we met him. [00:04:41] Speaker D: From Hades. The skeleton from Hades. You had him there the whole time? [00:04:46] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:04:47] Speaker A: None of us remarked on this upon meeting him. We are the chillest party ever. [00:04:50] Speaker C: Well, the last time they were in the cloak. We made sure to hide their identity. And then also we had to go find Robitz. [00:04:58] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. [00:04:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:00] Speaker B: You got a little distracted. [00:05:05] Speaker D: The skeleton is new. Okay. They know sans his grandfather was like Jesus. [00:05:14] Speaker B: So. Yeah. Steeples the bony fingers together and says the Lark Estate is a technical marvel. The amount of clockwork that interworks and moves the walls and rooms is. Honestly, I don't know if I've ever seen anything like it before. But unfortunately, because they refuse to work with the union, none of us have ever been able to study it. So therefore none of us have ever been able to replicate it properly. [00:05:45] Speaker C: Well, if you're just gonna look around, just make sure no one else is definitely in here. If you had to say go through the estate, how would you make sure you don't get lost? [00:06:08] Speaker B: Yeah, compass. Compass is good. You know, Wayfinder, if you get your hands on schematics and plans and you had somebody who was a. A good crafter, they might be able to like lead you through properly. [00:06:29] Speaker C: You wouldn't happen to know anyone that could help me with that? Theoretically. [00:06:36] Speaker B: Theoretically. [00:06:39] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:06:42] Speaker B: I might be able to find somebody who has seen the plans before, but it's. Getting the information out of them is not going to be cheap. [00:06:57] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. What are we talking? [00:07:02] Speaker B: Probably a couple hundred gold at least. [00:07:09] Speaker C: Okay. That. Funds. You already know this funds are a little thinner than usual. [00:07:17] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm aware. Maybe you can come to some sort of deal with them. I know some of the. Some of the workers who worked on their. The house itself, you know, are still around, so I could maybe ask about that. [00:07:37] Speaker C: Is any of this public record at. [00:07:43] Speaker B: All, the schematics for the house? No, not as far as I'm aware. And people have tried to look because we all want to know how the fuck it works and how it's built and so we can build some ourselves because honestly, having a house like that actually saves them quite a bit on space. [00:08:00] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Bigger on the inside. [00:08:03] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:08:05] Speaker C: Okay, good. Yeah. If you could give me in contact with them, I think that would be great. I could ask around, maybe do some research or. Don't know. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Yeah, well, I'll get in contact with people and if they agree to it, because there's a chance they may not agree to it because. Fear of repercussions. [00:08:45] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, we. It could offer. I don't know, I could offer some like a guarantee of animosity, at least anonymity. That. That word. Sorry. Tired. [00:09:01] Speaker B: Just wanted to make sure. [00:09:02] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. You're the. You're the learning One. I'm the organizing one. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:13] Speaker C: And any. [00:09:13] Speaker B: Any. [00:09:15] Speaker C: Anything new happen around here in the past week? [00:09:21] Speaker B: Everybody's on edge. We've probably got a day or two before more rampaging clockworks but. But, you know, we've stepped up the guard. We're all pitching in. I mean Fenian has some ideas, but some of them are a little drastic. [00:09:48] Speaker C: Well, we hopefully are looking into that. We know about someone being held. Just need to find them. So we're working on it. [00:10:06] Speaker B: Well, yeah, if anything happens, they'll let you know. [00:10:12] Speaker C: Great. Great. Steiner. You know, anyone asks about me, you know I wasn't here. [00:10:19] Speaker B: No. I don't know. Yuri. Yuri. Yuri who? [00:10:22] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, I think I need to check in with some other stuff. Thank you. And just, you know, reach out to me or I'll come in in a week. [00:10:36] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:10:36] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:10:37] Speaker B: Shop by in a week. Everything should be ready. [00:10:39] Speaker C: Incredible. Great. And I. My next place I would like to go is mobs. However I have these moss. I'm like okay, who should I send them to? The first one to so it works. I'm like oh, I'll send it to Louis and so just gonna be. I. I talk into it and if it's like the wind thing that mothmom does. Right. [00:11:12] Speaker B: Yeah. It's essentially kind of the same idea. Yeah. [00:11:16] Speaker C: I'll just say attach new devices. If you want to send this to anyone, just say their name and it will get to them and I let it fly away and we'll hear about that later, I guess. [00:11:29] Speaker B: Yeah. It's gonna. It's gonna have to go quite a bit of distance. [00:11:34] Speaker C: I don't know that. [00:11:35] Speaker A: What's the range on these? [00:11:39] Speaker C: I think. I don't know. I think they just fly. [00:11:41] Speaker A: They just go. [00:11:42] Speaker D: I'm sorry but can you imagine like. Like the Siri voice redirecting. Recalculated. That's what I'm picturing. Like it's. It's almost EPA it at the little man are almost there fly into Lou's dad's horrible office. I hate that. All my homies hate that. And then he gets. Then Lou gets loose just calculating flying chasing her down. [00:12:17] Speaker A: He rampages in the city an hour. There's now rumors of bird dinosaurs. [00:12:25] Speaker D: Oh my God. Who dives into the water and gets lost? [00:12:34] Speaker C: Great. Yeah, you do. We can do my other stuff later obviously so. [00:12:39] Speaker B: Okay. [00:12:40] Speaker D: Okay. [00:12:40] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I guess that. That means I'm. I'm going to jump to grave wing and Alistair, as you all initially headed back across the bridge deduct a Silver piece. [00:12:55] Speaker D: These tools. [00:12:57] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:13:02] Speaker D: I mean, I have the money. It's just. I don't like it. [00:13:07] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:13:11] Speaker E: Exactly how tools work. [00:13:14] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:13:16] Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah, you do that and you head through Salvation Row and you just take the. The secret entrance back into Starlight Bastion, rather than just trying to sneak in through an unguarded checkpoint, essentially. Yeah. Yeah, you do that. And Starlet itself is. It's hard to believe that anyone's going to be moving back in here anytime soon. A lot of the houses still have a lot of damage, and it's. It's going to be a bit. But at least people can. If there are things that remain that belong to them, they could come and get those. And certain things may open up sooner than others, but you are able to make your way to the Wizard's Tower itself. And Alistair, when you put your hand on the door, it will open for you. [00:14:17] Speaker E: Open sesame. That's the words, right? I mean, it doesn't have words, but I just wanted to say that it's. [00:14:27] Speaker D: Your tower, so I'm assuming you get to make up the words. [00:14:31] Speaker E: Ooh, I'll have to figure out something even better. [00:14:36] Speaker D: Yeah. Actually. This is your tower, isn't it? Is it, like, responds to you? So when this place opens up, like, you might want to. Maybe you want to go look for a deed or something. Just one thing the government's gonna do is take your home. [00:14:53] Speaker E: Yeah. If they can get in. Maybe I should make up different magic words every time I go in so no one can figure it out. [00:15:04] Speaker D: You could. You could. Like, maybe booby trap. This place. [00:15:07] Speaker B: Oh, it has booby traps. [00:15:09] Speaker D: I don't know that this is Gravewind's first time here. I'm here supporting the greatest mouse detective of all time who's also a wizard. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Fair, Fair, fair, fair, fair. [00:15:24] Speaker D: I don't know anything about a tower. [00:15:26] Speaker B: Yeah, you've been. You. You've all been here briefly because Akkos needed Alistair to unlock the tower so that they could take the piece of the Scarlet Queen that was here. But, yeah, it is. When you climb the steps up into the tower itself, it is almost exactly as you left it. Rather. You know, whatever you've done is kind of kicked on some of the magic stuff that is. It is. It is not as dusty as it was last time. It seems like some sort of magic keeps this place clean. [00:16:04] Speaker D: With this magic for the. There's magic to keep things clean? [00:16:10] Speaker E: Apparently. I. I haven't learned it yet. Maybe. Maybe there's a user manual. [00:16:17] Speaker D: My entire life has been alive. You telling Me? You can keep things magically clean. So you just like, what, Keep people around to do it for fun? This is a wi. Oh, my goodness. Okay. I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you. I'm just kind of mad at my circumstance. Is this like a whole tower? Like, you own the entire tower? [00:16:47] Speaker E: I. I don't even know. I'm. I want to find out as much as you do. [00:16:55] Speaker A: Okay, let's. [00:16:56] Speaker D: Let's look around then. If you need me to carry anything, I'll. I'll. I'll carry it, but I'm. I'm not sure how much. I mean, if something like, comes out of the tower when, you know, like fight it, then I'm like, very helpful. But if you need me to like, I don't know, read the magic words, you're gonna have to tell me the magic words because I don't. Magic. [00:17:19] Speaker E: Yeah. So I assume this is like we. We've only been in the tower once, very briefly. It's fairly like how big is. [00:17:34] Speaker B: Itself is like it. The tower literally towers over the. The district of Starlight Bastion. It is only. It is the only thing that is bigger in the district than the. Than. It is the clock tower that you all stayed in and is technically a safe house for all of you. [00:17:54] Speaker E: Okay, so I will. We should just start kind of mapping it out and getting an idea of what all is in there. In that case, probably looking for a study. [00:18:11] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Super easy to find. [00:18:14] Speaker D: How many floors are in this tower? [00:18:18] Speaker B: The tower itself is four floors. There is one floor that just seems dedicated to like, living quarters, bathing quarters, and there is one that is like, appears to be a kitchen, and the other two are just dedicated to study and books. [00:18:38] Speaker D: And. Did we like, strip this place clean of like, magic stuff or. No, we just like, grabbed what we saw. [00:18:45] Speaker B: You grabbed what you saw. [00:18:46] Speaker D: Okay. [00:18:47] Speaker E: Yeah. We just got a couple of scrolls. But now that we have a proper chance to search, the living quarters is just bedrooms. [00:19:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it is a bedroom. It looks like it was meant for a rat folk, so it is a little bit smaller. [00:19:11] Speaker E: Oh, that's so nice. Usually I have to reach up to get to the sink or anything. [00:19:19] Speaker D: Yeah, this is really nice. [00:19:22] Speaker E: Yes. [00:19:24] Speaker D: Oh, sorry. Are there portraits or something like that around? Maybe we can see what the owner potentially looks like. [00:19:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, there are. In like the study there is for the wizard who lived here was a rep hook and has very similar coloring to Alistair, but like, the patterns are a little different. [00:19:47] Speaker D: But it could. It looks like like in. In the Sense that perhaps these rats are blood relatives. Yes, it is. [00:20:01] Speaker B: Rats are blood relatives. [00:20:03] Speaker D: I was like, how am I gonna. How am I gonna. How am I gonna phrase this and be like, are they the same breed? That sounds whack. That sounds super whack in this case. [00:20:11] Speaker B: You know, this is like Alistair's great great, great, great, great, great, great, great great great grandfather. [00:20:17] Speaker E: So do I have any relatives that sport that look that I am immediately like, oh, yeah, I can kind of see the. See the resemblance. [00:20:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:20:30] Speaker B: I mean, like, you know, same kind of color, coloration as you have. Patterns are a little bit different, but, you know, you. You can definitely like, see like, whoever this person is in this portrait, they have the exact same eyes as you. [00:20:48] Speaker D: Oh, you have his eyes. [00:20:51] Speaker E: Don't worry, Graveling. It's not all rat folk look alike. We actually are related. I can see the resemblance. [00:21:00] Speaker D: Listen, listen, listen. Don't you dare lump me in with the hat. I wasn't thinking like that. I was thinking it was kind of cute that you guys have the exact same eyes. Like, this is like your super great grandfather or something. It's kind of nice. [00:21:19] Speaker B: Yeah. The wizard's tower belonged to a. Through paperwork and everything. Looking through and reading through this tower belonged to a Nicodemus Whiskerfield. [00:21:32] Speaker D: Like the rats of nimh. [00:21:33] Speaker B: Yes, exactly. [00:21:35] Speaker A: Your great, great great grandfather was a rat of nimh. [00:21:44] Speaker D: Oh, God. [00:21:45] Speaker E: How do you spell Nicodemus? That is a hard name. [00:21:50] Speaker D: I'm assuming it's like that. [00:21:52] Speaker B: Yeah, it's. It is like that. Nicodemus. [00:21:54] Speaker E: Okay, I had an extra H in there. No wonder I couldn't make it look right. Nicodemus Whiskerfield. All right, so I. I know I want to dig into all of these books. There's so much magic in this place. But a little more urgently, I should probably find, like, personal effects, like, like a user manual, basically. More deeds, legal documents. [00:22:36] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. As. As you're doing that. Give me. Give me the perception check to find those. Yes. [00:22:46] Speaker E: And I am very definitely taking the time to investigate this as a lead 100. And that is so bad. Do I want to take. You know what? I want to reroll using a hero point. [00:23:10] Speaker B: Go for it. [00:23:12] Speaker E: Come on. Wow. From an 8 to a 4, that's a 15. [00:23:20] Speaker B: Yeah. On. There's a lot here, and it's hard to parse, but you do find some notes about how the tower itself works. The door on the tower is spelled to only open for a blood relative, and so you are the only one or any of your Family could open the door and anybody else who is not. The tower has defense mechanisms for anyone who it thinks is trying to gain unlawful entry. If you remember when you were back in season one, when you were the. The big explosion that happened that gave you the distraction to get to Tallis Manor, that was some ghouls getting a little too close. If you. If you look at the tower and everything, the, the houses around it give it a wide berth. [00:24:23] Speaker E: So make sure you only come here with me. It tends to get a little explodey. I'll. I'll see if I could maybe add you to the guest list, but I. I don't see instructions here. [00:24:38] Speaker B: It's going to take a bit to look through everything. There's a lot of. A lot of years of life in here. A lot of strange items too to catalog and look through. There's some notes about the piece of the Scarlet Queen was studying it and the fact that it didn't ever decay and didn't ever appear to actually die. Like the hand itself would still twitch and move occasionally. [00:25:14] Speaker E: How does the age of this tower compare to the age of the mechanical building we're looking at? Just idle thought. [00:25:28] Speaker B: The tower would have been built long before this is actually probably. This tower was probably built about 400 years ago essentially when. When, When Malachant itself started. Starlight Bastion was the. Essentially was the city. And then it is expanded from there. And so like the. This, this tower has been in the city since its inception almost. And. But there are. [00:26:17] Speaker D: There. [00:26:17] Speaker B: There seems to be a lot of notes about, or at least a lot of questions about how the architect of Malachi actually managed to build the city itself in an area where the wood is so hostile, especially to suppress the ELD from essentially instantly trying to take back the city. [00:26:51] Speaker C: City. [00:26:52] Speaker E: Yeah. And so it's. That would also mean that it was built before the. Before the Devil Moon. [00:27:04] Speaker B: Yes, yes. There. There are lots of notes about, you know, just the weather, the sun. There are. There is that. And yeah, it would be long before that. And there are a lot of theories that your ancestor was positing as to how the architect was able to build Malachi. And also no one actually knows who the architect is. They just refer to them as the architect. [00:27:48] Speaker E: Very interesting. [00:27:57] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:58] Speaker E: I kind of wanna dig in and read these theories, just kind of take them in, see any ideas I can grasp at. [00:28:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you. You can. As you. As you uncover and take a look at stuff, I'll probably give you more and more loot. It's essentially there's Not a lot of, like, money in here, but there are. There are quite a bit of scrolls and other books that you can essentially use to learn magic. So if there are spells that you want, there's a chance that there's already scrolls and things, how to do them in here that can teach you. Yeah. Alistair's just been looking through the. The tower, sort of digging up things. You know, some of the things that Nicodemus was looking into was the Architect of Malacott, who. Nobody is actually sure who it is, and they're just known as the Architect. [00:29:13] Speaker D: I don't like that. What do you mean nobody knows? [00:29:19] Speaker B: Nobody knows who built the city because the city started with Starlight Bastion and then grew out from there. So nobody is exactly sure how even the Architect managed to suppress the eldest to build a city. [00:29:38] Speaker E: Maybe the Architect was working for the eld. [00:29:43] Speaker B: That's a conspiracy theory to follow. [00:29:48] Speaker D: Okay, well, while you were doing that, I think Brave Wing was just looking for things that seem useful to then take. Yeah, like this is what we're gonna take out of the tower, probably, and bring it with us. If it's like. If it's like, super glued to, like, the wall or something, it stays there. It's. I don't trust magical towers. I don't know what's a part of its structural integrity. [00:30:18] Speaker B: You know, I'll give you a small. Like, as you're searching, this tower, this. I don't want to say this tower was owned by a pack rat, but this tower was owned by a pack rat. [00:30:28] Speaker E: That is racist. [00:30:33] Speaker D: Well, with that in mind, then maybe I will look for, like, hidden holes and stuff like that. You know, there's got to be little secret areas that. Oh, my God. [00:30:47] Speaker E: Scurry holes. [00:30:48] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, that might have things. [00:30:51] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you do. But unfortunately, you're kind of interrupted in the middle of looking through everything by Alouette. [00:31:03] Speaker D: Okay. Yeah. I've been waiting for this. Aubrey. What do I see? Get creative. [00:31:11] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You see, I. I don't think the cloak has survived too much of the swim. [00:31:16] Speaker A: No. [00:31:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. You are sort of like, near one of the windows of the tower, and you. You're looking out and you just kind of happen to see. I imagine that at some point, it's easier to move on the rooftops than to run through the streets, because the streets are still kind of littered with junk and trash and dead bodies that. [00:31:40] Speaker A: Need to be cleaned out successfully than last time, too. [00:31:43] Speaker B: Yeah, a large. It kind of looks a little bit like the thing that you fought in Tallis laboratory, except it's red and a lot smaller. And you see that scurrying across the rooftops of the building headed towards Tallis Manor. [00:32:10] Speaker D: Okay, cool. And I. I do recognize this as Lou, right? I got an at 20. [00:32:19] Speaker B: Yeah. I would say you recognize mostly the feathers that you kept seeing popping out. [00:32:23] Speaker D: Of L. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And. And just kind of like thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking. And gow. Alistair. Alistair. [00:32:33] Speaker B: Yes. [00:32:37] Speaker D: I think Blue's curse is going wild. I'm going to go. I'm going to go chase her. You, you stay here because I don't think you're fast enough to keep up with me. And if I'm not back by like, by night, go get the others. I. I don't know. Does that sound okay? Do you want to try and keep up with me? [00:33:05] Speaker E: Am I able to prevent people from getting blown up if I am there and they like, come and knock on the front door? [00:33:14] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you're able to. The tower only reacts violently if it thinks people are actively trying to break in, like trying to open the windows and things like that. If somebody knocks on the door, it's not gonna blow them up. [00:33:28] Speaker E: Okay, just checking. Yes, that sounds good. [00:33:32] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. Okay. I am gonna jump out of the window because this is what I usually do now with the old suit, I could like glide and I don't, I cannot with this one. But I do have a bunch of other things to help me basically keep up with Alouette. And also, I don't think I'm on the fourth like floor window or anything like that. I think, if I'm being honest, I think I'm like on the second, like floor window. I'm in like the, the equivalent of living quarters here. [00:34:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:07] Speaker D: So I'm jumping out of that. I have one second. I'm not landing on the floor. I'm trying to also basically parkour here. But I do have wind pillow to help cushion falls. I have powerful leap to jump. And. And then I also have. Can do monk stuff. I have. [00:34:33] Speaker B: Give me, give me an acrobatics roll. [00:34:40] Speaker D: Oh, and I have like 35ft. I think it's 35ft right now. My speed. Yeah. So like I'm. I'm running, I'm fast. That's really good. That's a 19 on the. The die. So that's what, third? [00:34:58] Speaker B: 30. [00:34:58] Speaker D: That's 30. [00:35:00] Speaker B: 30. [00:35:00] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [00:35:01] Speaker B: Just, just, just explain what this looks like. [00:35:06] Speaker D: I full on jump out of the window. I, on my way down, I like activate my like kinetic abilities. I open the gate, use an air blast to kind of push me further off so I can create, like, aim for, like, the nearest, like, rooftop. Wind pillow down, take no damage, roll, start running, jumping full parkour. If I need the extra help to jump, it's always with air pushing behind me or beneath me. I'm. Oh, God, I wish I was in my full, like, fit. I definitely am not. I think I'm in, like, mask civvies, you know, So I just kind of look like some guy running around with, like, my face mildly covered here. But, like, my. My goal is not to outrun Lou. I don't think I can right now. She's got a head start, but to keep chasing her so. So I can follow and see where she's going. I know where she's going, but, like, you know, I need to keep up with this and then keep her safe while also keeping myself safe, because I don't. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. She. The cousins have talked a bit about their curses, and if this is that, which I think it is, I don't know if flu is gonna just eat me, you know, I. I don't know. So. But we. We gonna. We gotta figure that out. This one problem at a time, you know? [00:36:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you're able to. You're a little bit behind Lou because she has quite a bit of a head start on you. And you come across essentially the scene of Birdloo just tearing apart this laboratory, looking for anything involving the raven mother. [00:37:17] Speaker D: So this is. So I'm. I'm gonna. I'm gonna think this is where Lou is basically kind of digging at the spot where the raven mother was. That's where we left off, right? [00:37:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:37:34] Speaker A: Alouette, I think Alouette, sort of Alouette whips her head towards you, and her neck is a little bit longer in this form than it is ordinarily. And there's the irises and the pupils have disappeared in her eyes. And she has these, like, almost. It almost looks like blood trails that run down her face, except for it, like, turns into feathers at the end. And the shape of her face has gotten a lot more beaked. And she has these other, like, dark markings around her eyes. And she cocks her head at you and then says, where. Where is she? [00:38:28] Speaker D: Where is who she? [00:38:32] Speaker A: And then just claws up the ground again. [00:38:34] Speaker D: My hands, are, like, up kind of just for the cautious part, you know, I'm. I'm unarmed, but, like, you know, just. [00:38:44] Speaker A: No, you're not. [00:38:48] Speaker D: We both know this, but the Idea is I'm still, like, kind of approaching with caution. I take very careful steps. If I move towards Lou with again, my hands raised, you can see where they are. I'm not doing anything aggressive. But Aubrey, can I put two and two together that she's looking for that bird monster? Because I don't really know much about the bird monster. [00:39:20] Speaker B: Yeah, I'd say that's a. That's a pretty easy leap to make. [00:39:26] Speaker D: I don't know where she is. [00:39:31] Speaker A: She's gone again. She's left again. She has to be here and is gonna turn and just start just tearing through the laboratory, clawing at anything that, like, could a bird hide behind this? Maybe. I don't know. [00:39:49] Speaker D: I'mma let you knock down one thing before I raise my voice a little bit. [00:39:55] Speaker B: Lou. [00:39:56] Speaker D: Lou. She's gone. She's not here. She was moved maybe. [00:40:05] Speaker A: And I think that's gonna stop Lou. Not immediately. I think there's another. I don't know, a table gets tossed and then it like, stops her and she sort of sinks down onto her haunches and then just cries. And it's like a. Like a keening, like, beastial sound. It doesn't sound like a person crying. It sounds like a wounded animal. [00:40:41] Speaker D: I'm gonna approach like I'm a hiccup in the first movie and also throughout the TV series whenever he's trying to calm down a dragon. Except in this case, I guess the better analogy is that, unfortunately, I'm Chris Pratt and you are all three velociraptors. That's how I'm approaching. Okay. But I am getting closer to you. I don't know what this is about. I can kind of put it together. I'm sorry that she's not here. [00:41:34] Speaker A: She keeps leaving me and everyone else. [00:41:40] Speaker B: Knows. [00:41:46] Speaker D: We can find her again. [00:41:51] Speaker A: And Lou kind of like looks at you again and there's finally a recognition. And I think she kind of drags herself closer and is going to hug you. [00:42:12] Speaker D: Yeah, I figured Dory Graven will let the hug happen, but she'll hug you back. Gravering hugs like a mom. So it's very full body, but also you're way bigger than her right now, so it has to be full bodied. But she's just kind of going to let your, like, head, like, basically consume this one side of her shoulder and her neck and honestly, your chest, because your face is elongated at this point. I don't know. But just kind of going to let you have that whole half of her and will pet your. Your head kind of push the feathers back in a very. Like. There's a rhythm to it, but it's. It's fully to soothe you. [00:43:01] Speaker A: Yeah. And she'll probably stay like that for probably several minutes and then finally say, I'm stuck like this. [00:43:18] Speaker D: That's okay. That's okay. You said you only. Well, you didn't remember the first time you did it. Right. You remember this one now, right? You know where you are? [00:43:32] Speaker A: Um. Oh yes, I suppose I do. [00:43:40] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. Alistair and I are. We were in his tower. It's a cool tower. [00:43:53] Speaker A: It is. [00:43:54] Speaker D: Okay. Okay, so we're. We're here. Alistair's not here. He's in his tower. We can go there when you feel a little bit better. [00:44:06] Speaker A: I don't know if my mother is alive or dead anymore. And if she is dead, then that means I helped to kill her. [00:44:20] Speaker D: If she's. If she's dead, then that means that you put an end to her being in here because she was not in control when we were fighting her. I don't know. We can find out. We have time. We can find out. We know that this is all connected now. We're bound to find out. But how did you know that she was here? Do you remember? [00:44:59] Speaker A: My father knew. Knew and has known for over a decade. [00:45:12] Speaker D: Do you want me to beat him up? [00:45:18] Speaker A: No, I think I want. I want to know his explanation. I want to know all of the explanations. [00:45:33] Speaker D: Then we're gonna get that. Does Yuri know? [00:45:39] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:45:44] Speaker D: Then we're gonna figure that out too. We're gonna do what we can with what we can right now. But it's all connected. Alistar would be so happy that we are embracing the conspiracy theory. [00:46:04] Speaker A: I will have to let him know. He might as well. [00:46:11] Speaker B: I think it's about this time that the little clockwork moth just like flutters onto your head and you hear Yuri's message. [00:46:21] Speaker D: We're both stunned into silence. [00:46:26] Speaker A: And it lets me answer. I can just answer them off and it goes back. [00:46:31] Speaker B: Essentially is you can do the similar thing of speaking into it. Essentially is currently with the prototypes. They can only be used once a day. [00:46:39] Speaker A: Oh, okay. So it's only a one way message then. [00:46:43] Speaker B: It is a one way message. Currently with the prototypes as Crunch, crunch, crunch. [00:46:55] Speaker A: Instinct. [00:46:56] Speaker D: That's okay. That's okay. I. I do the same thing. [00:47:00] Speaker A: There's a lot of bones in here. And I have never wanted bones so much in my life. [00:47:06] Speaker D: You know, chewing on bones is. Is like normal. It's very normal. [00:47:12] Speaker A: Most of these are clues. I would not put at this. Tempting. [00:47:17] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. How about. How about we get out of this really gross room? Okay. We're gonna get out of here. I. I don't know how many people saw you coming in. You were on the rooftops when I saw you. But that's okay because we have the sewers and we have a tower that shoots on sight if we don't knock. [00:47:57] Speaker A: Right. That's good. I am soaking wet and I don't really remember why. [00:48:06] Speaker D: I wish I could tell you why. Maybe you went for a swim. You don't. I'm gonna smell her. Just. I mean, I was, like, fully hugging her. [00:48:21] Speaker B: Most definitely went through the river. [00:48:23] Speaker D: Okay. I just. I just. In case. I do, like, a. Like a very auditory. Like another smell test. Be like, okay, that might. That's most likely the river. Just the river. It's the river. River water is good water. [00:48:36] Speaker A: That. That's good. That means I probably didn't attack anyone. [00:48:42] Speaker D: I don't. I don't think you did. You up the floor. Yeah. But honestly, it had to come. [00:48:52] Speaker A: That's true. [00:48:54] Speaker D: But you're otherwise. I don't know. Do you need clothes? [00:49:03] Speaker A: I don't think there's a lot to put right now. [00:49:08] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. [00:49:09] Speaker A: This just feels very revealing. [00:49:13] Speaker D: It's flattering because it's your color. [00:49:20] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:49:22] Speaker D: I could do a way better job at it. I'm just trying to keep you calm as well. [00:49:26] Speaker A: Appreciate that. [00:49:28] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. [00:49:30] Speaker A: I think I'm just disassociating. And maybe if I do it hard enough, I will stop being bad. [00:49:42] Speaker D: And if that doesn't happen, that's okay. It means you get to wear bigger dresses. [00:49:53] Speaker A: So true. [00:49:54] Speaker D: Bigger. Yeah, bigger dresses. Bigger dresses. [00:49:58] Speaker A: And I don't need heels anymore. Or you shrank and I don't think so. [00:50:08] Speaker D: No, you're much. You're much bigger now. But that's not. That's not a bad thing. My. My sister and son, the type of ancestry they are, they constantly grow. They will literally never stop growing. It's the Vishkanya way. And by way, I mean, I don't know that science, but so, like, growth is super fine. [00:50:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Well, I imagine you're having this conversation as you're leaving the mansion. [00:50:49] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. We're, like, slowly moving out. Yeah. [00:50:52] Speaker B: It really is just getting to the Wizards Tower. [00:50:55] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:50:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:50:55] Speaker D: We're like, basically, once we're, like, through that, like, manner threshold where it's like, okay, now we gotta go out, it'll be a little bit more like sneaky, sneaky quiet time because Again, we don't know what's outside just yet, but the. The tower is where we're aiming. [00:51:12] Speaker B: Is pro. [00:51:13] Speaker D: Where we're aiming to go, right? Like, because that's where I'm going. I would like to take you. Yeah. [00:51:20] Speaker A: Don't let me try to eat Alistair. [00:51:26] Speaker D: Right. Yeah. [00:51:27] Speaker A: I don't know if that is a thing or not. I ate a moth. [00:51:34] Speaker D: Listen. [00:51:35] Speaker A: That spoke in my cousin's voice. [00:51:37] Speaker D: Oh, boy. Listen, I think. I think, you know, I think Alistair, whether he realized it or not, knew that everybody on this team officially now can eat him. But he's all. I think he's. Yeah, I'll stop you. I'll stop you. I don't think he can fit in your mouth right now, but I. I'll stop you. [00:52:07] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:52:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, great. You're having this conversation as you head off towards the tower, converge there and then figure out. And somewhere else in the city, we see Salvation Row and we see a man walking down its streets wearing nice boots and a long jacket. He smiles as he approaches the Silver Fox, the. The place you'd been before. He sees a bunch of people milling around just trying to forget that things are going to change. And he kind of cracks his knuckles and says, well, it's time to get to work. And he. You watch as he jumps on top of the table and sort of clears his throat and with a spell essentially casts bullhorn as he says, well, well, the roe. It is good to be back is I. Good old Johnny. Things are going to change around here. And first order of business is 500 gold for whoever brings me the head of Lorelei Dabria. Good luck. And that's where we'll end it. Aubrey. [00:53:51] Speaker D: I knew it was him. I knew it was him. I knew it. [00:53:57] Speaker A: We got this, dude. We've got family problems. [00:54:04] Speaker C: I'm gonna punch Barry in the face. [00:54:08] Speaker D: No, it's on. It's actually on site. Is. Is actually. I. [00:54:15] Speaker B: Do want to take us. Take us out. [00:54:17] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, we do that. Hi, guys. Thanks for listening. It's on site. Barry, Bartholomew, whatever your surname is. Bart Barnabas, Barney B. Like it's on site, my guy. If you like what we do, follow us goblet to gays on blue sky.
